Ramirez
Dana White said in a recent clip that GSP was just signing some books and not making any special announcement, i think the media hyped it so people will watch...

JamesCozad
Cya GSP, enjoy your time off. Whatever these personal problems are, I hope he gets through it, don't care if he returns to MMA or not as long as he can enjoy his life from here on in. He has enough money and stepped away as one of the best despite people bashing his lack of finishing opponents.
thb
he really has done enough for the sport to earn my respect, GSP enjoy your retirement
verbalkint
That little scumbag Robbie Lawler must walk aroudn with a fat smile on his face these days lol... gosh, i'd go f'n nuts if he'd ko Hendricks! 2013/14, holy shit! Really sucks that Brown vs Condit got canceled though now, although a Condit win would not have lead to a undisputed challenger also looking at his recent history. In general a tough developement for Silva at WW lately. Which brings me back to where i started... the big fat smile on Lawler's face. Crazy. THT
First : Talk about fighters, events, clothing brands - anything you like as long as it is interesting or relatively important. If you want to talk about the UFC, do it in the General MMA forum in the section below. This is in the wrong section. Just sayin. Second : GSP leaving like that is BS, he has always been a coward IMO, utilizing the blanket effect in earlier bouts, he almost changed my mind after the Koscheck fight but this has really just confirmed it to me. He got beat an in a heart beat he turns and runs, I am suprised I expected anything else from someone with that accent.

gwad12345
Always a bummer when one of the legends hangs up their gloves, so long GSP you shall be missed. Lets see the new class step up.
VeikkoK
I doubt he comes back but if he does it would be great if he game back at MW and took the belt from Silva/Weidman/whoever and then retired again
DeadlyDirk
He's made the right and only decision he could make. You can't go into a fight, especially at that level, unless you are 100% mentally prepared. I hope to see him back one day. As for Hendricks vs Lawler, that's going to be a great fight and I like both guys, but in fights like this I always cheer for the veteran so I'm going to be pulling for Lawler, who will also no doubt be a huge underdog.
