bjornmma1
Why won't EA SPORTS bring out a version of the UFC game for computers also? It would be very nice to be able to play the UFC game when you have some spare time and have your laptop with you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCTk7pCCfG4 http://www.thehollywoodmmashow.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/UFC-on-EA-Sports-Spring-2014.jpg

thb
Because not everyone has a great computer or in my case because I don't want to play games on the pc I also use for work, it's great that I have one console for all my games and because a console specifically made for playing games lasts longer than a pc for games

Vlad
I believe it's because their target audience are more likely have access to a console than a PC. Similarly, consoles are the traditional methods of gaming and with UFC not having such a vast amount of fans as FIFA I think that they rather use the people to improve the next release or patch the current one so that it's better over all rather than having them spend time and money in order to release it for PC. Erik
To me thats defeats the id of pc gaming using a control pad Try not to be too insulted by this because I have no nicer way to say it.. that's a fucking stupid idea of PC gaming, the whole point of the PC as a gaming platform is it's open and you can basically do whatever the hell you like with it.

JuveLeo
cause ea sucks their games are the same everyyear Have to agree with that. With no competition EA has gotten extremely lazy. They don't care about what fans want.

I feel like they have a list of everything fans clamor for that numbers into the teens and they decide to do one thing a year when they know full well they could implement all changes that same damn year. The old keep em coming back for more. But fuck if it doesn't work.

But fuck if it doesn't work. it's a balancing act, especially with sports games. if you create a perfect version, then people will see that there's no point in buying the new version the following year. gotta add JUST enough improvements to have enough selling points, and not enough that you hurt your future sales. They add the smallest mechanic in the game and just slap 14 on it instead of 13.

It's true, I'm one of millions who would pay a ton of money for a "cloud" type game that constantly updates even for pay, but most people just want something new and shiney. Erik
Me too, and Titanfall. Given Titanfall is getting a PC release (where it'll have mouse controls..), I'm not sure why you'd want to play it on an Xbone.

Mentor
Because I doubt my PC can run it. I don't have a PC built for gaming. You not having a good enough PC is not a good excuse though. In general though i see a lot of the pure action type of games are not making it to the PC these days, besides those which already have a strong fan base on it of course. FIFA is a game which would probably not make the PC if it was a new game coming out now.

Guest
The thing with "good" and well designed PC games is that there is a huge gap between bad systems and newly bought computers and the game should still run on both of them depending on how the settings are chosen. With the UFC for example, if you don't care much about ultra realistic graphics why you mind toning them down and still enjoying the game mechanics while running it on a laptop? This is a tendency I also see happening on newer PC games. Less setting customization leading to the need of always having the latest system. There is no reason for a less graphic oriented version not running on PS3 anyway. Example: I can still play NBA2k on my low end laptop.
