United States Fighting Championship is proud to offer you USFC 11 on January 24, 2015 live from The Underground- New York complete with 10 awesome bouts on the card.

First up in the Light heavyweight division we have "The All American American" American American Anderson Weedman vs. Bjorn "Slow Learner" Gunhart. Weedman is known for his wrestling skills but he has lost his only fight thus far. Gunhart is also 19 years old with a record of 1-1. Gunhart is known for his wonderful muay thai skills. This really comes down to who can keep the fight where they want it. My Predicition- Weedman by unanimous decision.

Next up we have Oskar Gudjohnsen taking on Travis "Big Dog" Miller in a heavyweight showdown. Oskar is a young 18 year old who holds a record of 1-0, he is known for his great boxing skills however, he does hold a blue belt in BJJ as well. Travis is 19 years old who will be making their MMA debut. Travis has some top level wrestling skills that could pose a problem. My Prediction- Oskar Gudjohnsen by unanimous decision.

Larry "The Lobster" Moskavony will be facing Aleksander "Alex" Gracie in the light heavyweight division. Both men are undefeated at this point. Larry holds a 3-0 record while Alex holds a 1-0 record. In each of his three fights Larry has used his wrestling and BJJ to earn quick submission wins. In his only fight so far Alex has his BJJ skills to earn a quick submission win. This will definitely be a great ground war. Alex may have the BJJ advantage but Larry has some good wrestling skills, could that be the difference? My Prediction- Moskavony via submission.

Then we are treated to a rematch as Jared "Da Bomb" Nuke faces Nissay Ramuo. The last time these two faced off they went all the way but in the end we had a draw. Naturally that meant we needed to see a rematch. In their first fight they spent much time on the ground. Nuke is fairly well rounded and can look to work anywhere however these two men are fairly even matched, hence the draw the first time. In this one I would look for Nuke to use his boxing more and Ramuo looking to stay in the clinch. My Prediction- Jared Nuke by decision.

Little Guy will be fighting Marcus "Marvelous" Maclemore in another light heavyweight showdown. Age is not too much of a factor but, Guy holds a little bit of an experience advantage here. Little Guy has shown he can knock people out or go all the way he has paired decent boxing skills with great wrestling skills to allow him success. Marcus on the other hand has paired great boxing skills with decent BJJ skills. Marcus’s chin has proven to be an issue before will it be again or can he get his second win in front of his hometown crowd? My Prediction- Marcus Maclemore by (T)KO.

In our 5th bout of the night featherweight champion Neymar Junior will be defending his belt against an up and coming contender Curtis Mayfield. Junior is known for his ability to knock people out, something he has done 4 times within the first 2 minutes of the first round. His top level boxing skills paired with a muay thai advantage can make for a deadly combination. But don’t count out Mayfield who is very well rounded. Mayfield has a brown belt in BJJ and some strong wrestling skills if he can get this fight to the ground Junior will be in trouble. My Prediction- Curtis Mayfield by submission.

After that title fight we are head back to the light heavyweight division as The Brawler looks to defeat "The Natural Selector" Charles Darwin. The Brawler is known for just that brawling, he has earned 4 knockouts so far in his career. He has great focus in the muay thai area with some deadly kicks. Brawler will be making his USFC debut will he earn himself a win? Not if Darwin has anything to say about it. Darwin is a balanced 27 year old who has also earned some knockouts in his career. My Prediction- The Brawler by Knockout.

For our next fight two great welterweight fighters will look to get their first wins in USFC. Darren Paddon is a 20 year old boxer who is looking to start their USFC career right with a win. Paddon has 3 (T)KO wins under his belt. He is making a jump down from the middleweight division. This fight has a lot of first for Paddon, is it possible that all the changes are too much? "Mr. Squishy" Iron Igor is a 19 year old submission specialist who had early success before coming into USFC. In his last fight at USFC 3 Igor lost by (T)KO in the 3rd round. Should he be concerned? He has some strong boxing skills that may be able to help him out, but will it be enough? My prediction- Iron Igor by submission.

In the co-main event two of the top middleweights at USFC will face off to further chances of becoming the top contender for the belt. Luis Cruz will be making his USFC debut but he is well known for his 2-0 record which proves his BJJ skills are nothing to mess with. He holds a brown belt which just helps show if possible you don’t want to be on the ground with him. Jackson McFly on the other hand has experience on his side he holds an impressive 7-2 record. His superb boxing and honorable wrestling skills allow him to stay standing take him time and knock you out, or go all the way and still win it. Both men are trying to surge to the top. Which will prevail in the battle of new versus established? My Prediction Luis Cruz by submission.

In the main event two undefeated 4 and 0 light heavyweight monsters will be going at it. In one corner will be the 20 year old Jarmo "The Bear" Keskitalo and in the other 25 year old Alex "Bean Burrito" Trujillo. Jarmo has top notch kick boxing with deadly kicks. Need proof? He has won his last three fight by head kick in the first round, two of them in under 40 seconds. He won KO of the night at USFC 6. Jarmo also holds a blue belt in BJJ and has some wrestling skills. Alex on the other hand has won 3 fights by submission and one by decision. . Alex holds some superb wrestling skills so he will want this fight on the ground, but add in his purple belt in BJJ. As soon as this one hits the ground Alex will win it all, but can he get it there? Who will walk away with their first loss of their career? Who will continue their reign? Will we see an amazing head kick KO or a fantastic submission? My Prediction- Jarmo Keskitalo via (Head Kick) Knockout.

That’s the line up for USFC 11 which features a lot of great talent and is sure to be exciting, be sure to watch and see what unfolds.

Fox News:

The whereabouts of Jason Voorheez are currently unknown. Nobody has seen him since he made his comments about his devastating loss to [inactive] champion Jules Winnfield. Yes, he does have a fight set against Steve McGordon, but still he show up on February 21st? I guess we will have to wait and find out. Back to you

United States Fighting Championship 12 Preview

Miss the days when MMA was soccer kicks to downed opponents and brutal knockouts where grown men were draped across ropes like unconscious marionettes? Well the USFC understands your nostalgic sadism and is making organization history January 29th with a card of up and comers looking to make their own history in the first USFC event taking place within a ring! Paddy O'Malley's is the place to be this thursday to see pugilistic pursuits by tomorrows legends!

Main Event

Alberto Contador (258196) 3 - 1 Vs. Bruce "Pain Train" Patterson (261517) 3 - 3

Both fighters are going into this fight 1 - 1 with USFC, a main event win would be huge for either fighter. Alberto Contador is coming off a TKO Victory where he displayed a versatile standup skillset unloading a head kick and strikes to finish off a previously undefeated Paul Thompson. At 19 years old it looks as if he is on the verge of stardom, with a excellent wrestling pedigree and a deadly clinch Alberto Contador has finished all of his opponents by knockout, and seems to be on the warpath. Unfortunately for Contador, 25 year old Bruce Patterson has yet to be knocked out, with four of his six fights ending in decision and none by way of knockout, Patterson has shown he can handle himself wherever the fight may go. With a .500 record Bruce may seem the clear underdog but with his gritty determination and well rounded skillset The Pain Train is looking to cause the upset.

The fighters had the following to say when asked about their upcoming fight and opponent:

Alberto Contrador: I feel disrespect my opponent is not training well for a dis fight. I will a show no mercy and destroy him. I climb mountain for fun on my bike so beatin a fat a lazy chump will a be a pleasure.

Bruce Patterson: Well, all I can really tell the world is that Alberto Contador will REALLY have to watch his six. I can outbox him, and my ground game is no laughing matter. Of course New York and the rest of tehe world will have to wait until Thursday to see how I will win.

They hate each other folks, what fun!

Co-Main Event

Chang "Fung" Pi (263490) 2 - 1 Vs. Terrence Harris (262551) 2 - 1

Fans in attendance on the 29th will be specially instructed to not blink in this electrifying Co Main Event as these fighters both have tremendous power in their hands. Chang "Fung" Pi is a man who knows what the people want, all fights ending by knockout this fighter is always exciting to watch, his hands have given his opponents fits in lesser orgs but now Fung looks to cement himself in USFC against better competition, Chang will most likely decide where the fight goes and will try to use his superior boxing. Terrence Harris hates two things, not putting his gorilla paws on your face and judges. Two wins by KO and his only loss by way of decision (the ringside judges are still missing) Harris is looking to use his better Muay Thai to even the difference in boxing. This is a good bet for KO of the night.

Frank Gene (261804) 3 - 1 Vs. Terry "Terror" Torres (261515) 2 - 3

Two fighters who are no strangers to upsets, both these men are coming off impressive wins over fighters who by record should have ran through them. Frank Gene has a developing stand up game, though the real danger is when he puts you on your back, where he can snap a limb or put the lights out, fighters who put Gene in their guard usually end up with something broken, his biggest test will be dealing with The Terror's dangerous Muay Thai. Terry "Terror" Torres is a skilled kickboxer who is comfortable on the ground, his wrestling is there but Gene's is far to dominant, Terry will need to watch out for the ground and pound of Gene and look to capitalize on his opponents suspect stand up.

Johnny General (254294) 3 - 2 Vs. Kunle Jones (258875) 3 - 2

Johnny General is a well rounded 27 year old fighter who uses the weaknesses of his opponents to his advantage, 1 - 1 in the USFC, General is strategizing a campaign towards a contendor spot with this win. He is good at using all limbs in stand up and can go the distance comfortably, he can win this bout standing up or on his back. Kunle Jones is a good wrestler who displayed good muay thai in his last fight winning with a head kick followed by punches, he has his work cut out for him in this fight in the stand up aspect however and should look to use his dominant wrestling to offer some gift wrapped bows towards the General's facial features.

The Chimaera (253229) 2 - 0 - 1 Vs. Great Bloodsport (253033) 1 - 2 - 0

With names like these you have to assume their parents knew they would grew up to be fighters. The Chimaera is not lost in any facet of the game, but when it comes to Muay Thai, he has a PhD in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Chimaera landed an incredible 62 combined kicks in his last fight, lighting up his opponent with a staggering 19 headkicks, its no secret what his vile shin related intentions are come thursday. Chimaera will need to avoid the superior wrestling of his opponent and keep this fight standing, where he is more comfortable. Great Bloodsport started his career rockily, taking two hard Tko defeats before finding a rhythm in his third outing, showcasing some impressive ground and pound. Bloodsport might as well wear wrestling shoes into the ring, his strategy is quite clear and despite being the underdog, he has a very genuine shot at pulling off the upset.

Ka'Ra LeVass (253921) 0 - 1 Vs. Sven "The Hen" Jergensen (255800) 1 - 1

Ka'Ra LeVass is technically undefeated, his first fight in the ring as a Mr. Seawright was however a quick, onesided loss. Despite this meager showing those that know him in the gym are saying that he has improved leaps and bounds, Though don't take my word for it, the mans career so far has lasted just over a minute. In the battle of opposites Sven "The Hen" Jergensen has taken the time to really get in every minute of experience, with just one more fight then LeVass he almost has 30X the in cage experience, his strategy the always deadly 'You-stay-under-me' strategy, which involves a lot of holding and whispers. Although Sven may look better record wise, with Ka'Ra's improved skillset he is a heavy favorite in this fight, Sven better bring a pillow and crucifix, he has a lot of laying and praying to prepare for.

Punka Tuka (262486) 3 - 1 Vs. Louden "The Beast From the East" Hurley (254092) 2 - 6

Punka Tuka is undefeated in the USFC, winning his debut with busy clinchwork and the occasional takedown, his cavemen like name is indicative of his fighting style, in your face and frankly a bit offensive. He has very good muay thai and a quietly sound wrestling ace in the sleeve, he is a grinder and knows how to impress the judges. Hailing from the always aggressive Boston, Louden Hurley is debuting in this fight after breaking a disheartening six fight losing streak. The Beast From the East should look to stay outside and use his boxing to keep the distance about as far as his wins to losses. Hurley is capable at every skill of the game but excels at nothing, flip a coin to see if the fight is horizontal or vertical, both are very comfortable at either angle.

Pierre "The Beast" Gagnon (260170) 1 - 0 Vs. Xander "The Talon" Cetan (253082) 2 - 2

Since the founding of our great country we have always maintained a fierce and bitter rivalry with our neighbors to the north (I slept through history class a lot). Now we can find release for our unrelenting nationalism as the Canadian Pierre Gagnon takes on American born Xander Cetan. Pierre Gagnon is a standup fighter who keeps you guessing, winning his debut with a onesided beatdown that showed the importance of striking defense and the reliability of a good takedown defense, The Beast is looking to let the hooves fly thursday night! Xander Cetan is a jack of all trades who has struggled in his last two fights after going 2 - 0 in the beginning of his career. Losing in a quick submission in his debut, Xander will want to do his best impression of his former opponent if he wants to pull this one off.

Jeff Marks (262307) 1 - 2 Vs. Sean Coleman (263093) 4 - 3

When Jeff Marks fights, someone is plummeting to the canvas. He is a sprawl and brawler who likes to mix it up, 1 - 2 inside the USFC all fights ending by way of Technical Knockout, he has a good chin and excellent hands, he should aim for a aggressive knockout before his ground oriented opponent puts him on his back, where Marks is lacking the technical skill to come out on top. Sean Coleman knows so little about stand up he tried to practice his kicks at an open mic, regardless of this he has polished off four wins with excellent takedowns and relentless submissions, if both fighters end up conscious on the ground you have to give it to Coleman. Its not surprise how either of these guys will win. Solid contender for KO or Sub of the night.

Will "Briefcase Wanker" McKenzie (263554) 1 - 2 Vs. Michael Chandler (263389) 1 - 2

Starting off this incredible night of fights is two fighters from the 155 division! Will "Briefcase Wanker" McKenzie clearly picked 16 oz gloves over spandex, a skilled KO Artist with a stone jawline that has yet to be damaged, Mckenzie lost his debut in USFC by decision and is looking to bounce back with a highlight reel Knockout of his opponent. Michael Chandler is coming off a disappointing Tko debut to Laverne Reynolds in USFC 7, he has solid stand up and a dash of wrestling, unfortunately in this fight he is outgunned in his usual comfort zone and will need to grab for ankles if he wants to win this fight, Chandler is studying old Coleman fights as we speak.

USFC continues its weekend of MMA with a rare Saturday event at O’Malley’s Bar. This ultra-exclusive all-invitation affair will determine the number one contender for the heavyweight division whilst a series of old favourites perform against an ever growing list of big name newcomers.

USFC 13 opens with a heavyweight melee. Thurman Potts (1-2-0) is a young guy with great enthusiasm for the sport but only has rudimentary skills at this time. He faces the former boxer Arse Face (0-2-0) who’s own transition into mixed martial arts has been more difficult than he imagined. Both men will go into this swinging with great fury but you have to think that Face will come out the winner if he uses sticks to his strengths.

Danyalez “Dan” Selby (4-0-0) is the latest prospect to come out of Canada. The teen has a vicious sense of timing that has allowed him to pull of a series of crushing submissions in his early career. He will look to continue his run against Rose “Blue” Red (1-1-0). Red had a fight of the night performance in a losing effort at USFC 4. His all action style should put Selby under pressure but you still have to think the Canadian will find a way to win.

Wrestling stud Paul Thompson (1-1-0) was on the end of a surprising first round knock out in his USFC debut so will be looking for a do-over against Cliff “Bulldog” Anderson (1-5-0). This looks like a gimme for Thompson - who was expected to be a contender at welterweight - as Anderson is on a five fight losing streak. However “Bulldog” has shown increased toughness in each of his last two fights and may see his one-dimensional competitor as an opportunity to relight his own career.

The USFC featherweight division prides itself with the reputation that anyone can beat anyone. Randy “The Finishing Touch” Dragon (3-7-0) and Bradley “The Bulldog” Franco (3-6-0) are testament to this reality. Which fighter actually has the advantage is not a clear cut. There is some suggestion that Franco may have the advantage wrestling but if it hits the floor it could be anyone’s game.

This point about 145 is furthered when the contest between Reece “Garzilla” Jackson (1-1-0) and Nick “NickZai” Zai (6-2-0) is examined. Both men came into the USFC unbeaten and yet neither man has picked up a W since. The fight certainly looks to favour Zai who is noticeably bigger and has considerably more experience but this division just keeps throwing up upsets.

The main card begins with Conner “Lights Out” Britian (7-9-0) looking to build on his knockout of the night performance back at USFC 8 and further elevate his status at welterweight. One thing that can certainly be said for Britian is that he knows how to be in an exciting fight. All of his 16 contests have ended outside the judge’s hands. His opponent on the night will be Sly “Rocco” Stallone (5-8-0) who has also been on a bit of a renaissance by going 2 and 2 in his last four. People wonder how much focus he will have on the match up as there are rumours that he may be struggling financially. Some are even wondering if he will be able to make the fight. Will these issues theorised get in either man’s mind? We will have to wait and see.

Submission fighting is an art form all of itself. Tony “Rock” Stones (3-4-0) is the best that the USFC’s light heavyweight division can offer. He will defend that accolade against a newcomer to the organisation “Undead” Eddie Alstot (2-1-0) who comes in with his own highly laudable skill set in that area.

There should be little expectation that the fight will be over quickly. Both will surely want to probe the others defences and even look to soften their opponent up on the feet before engaging. This preamble should build the tension nicely until a final crescendo where the fight alights into a chain of submission excellence. The winner will stand tall as the nastiest submission expert in the division and will also know that a large target has suddenly appeared on their backs.

Sergio “The Spartan” Lopez (2-1-0) is a stand up fighter who has yet to fulfil his promise in the USFC. Hopefully he will welcome the opportunity to substantiate people’s belief in him when he takes on the dangerous and undefeated newcomer Ferenz Balas (4-0-1).

These two have distinctly different styles. Lopez relies on his kicks while Balas utilises supremely precise punching. The level of accuracy Balas displays cannot be understated. He appears to only ever pull the trigger when he knows he will make a connection. Considering that he has knocked out the majority of his opponents, you can’t even claim that he does this at the depict of delivering shots without power. Lopez will need to use the additional distance kicking gives him to force Balas to gamble if he is going to prevent being picked apart. This will require Lopez displaying real discipline in his stance which is something he has failed to do in the past. Still there is a increasing minority that believe that Lopez can really do this despite Balas being the clear favourite.

The freaky vision of the monstrously tall but undeniably weedy TJ “Texas” Dilashaw (8-1-0) is something to behold. No one is entirely sure how this enormous human being makes it down to welterweight but he does and has proven himself to be highly effective doing so.

It will be down to perennial USFC contender Walter Jeremiah (3-1-0) to solve the mystery on how you beat such an ungainly opponent. The obvious answer has to be to go to the body. There cannot be any muscle for protection there when a man is so tall and thin. Jeremiah has the boxing to get inside and do damage but he must avoid getting into Dilashaw’s all-smothering grip. Failure will mean that the will be night over for Jeremiah as the freak is deadly when he gets the clinch locked in.

Power. Ferocity. Devastation.

All good words to describe the two huge heavyweights “Slick” Willie Jone (4-0-0) and Soa Patelei (3-1-0) who will be vying for the chance to face the winner of USFC 14 massive world title showdown.

Expect this one to end quickly with one man prostrate on the canvas. Both men are clearly skilled but even the ugliest punch that connects has the potential to end the fight. Their power overwhelms everything else that they do. What a wonderful thing to have in a sport where leaving your opponent silly is the idea.

There really is little point in guessing who will win because it is so much a case of first significant strike may win. You could make Jone the favourite as he has never been beaten but Patelei’s loss came at the hands of a submission specialist. Neither have been knocked out before, but then neither have faced such ridiculously powerful opponents as each other either.

Someone’s belief in their invincibility is going to be ruined in this main event. Who will be the reason to attend.

Concluding the United States Fighting Championship’s glorious weekend of MMA is the biggest card in the organisation’s history.

No less than three titles will be decided with Jerome “Little Jerry” Seinfeld defending his middleweight belt against Kenneth Keats. Corey. “Punishment Walk” Parker expecting a tough battle on the ground for his Heavyweight Title against L Manning Vines and Javier Martinez and Divock “Belgian Beast” Origi closing the night with what is expected to be an epic Light Heavyweight showdown.

This night has the potential to dramatically change the whole shape of the company and will surely be remembered by USFC fans forever.

The card opens with the undefeated Marian Balkon (1-0-0) attempting to continue his streak against the man who failed to capture the middleweight title at USFC 6, “Carnage” Cletus Kasady (1-4-0). This fight has the potential to be fought in all three phases of the fight game but you have to think that Kasady might decide to drag the encounter to the ground after such a devastating knock out last time out. Balkon may have other ideas. No doubt he has heard the whispers that he lacks knockout power after failing to put his last opponent away, despite two knockdowns in the second and third round. Kasady’s record suggest this may be a great opportunity to remedy those accusations.

Cu Chulainn (1-2-0) opened his USFC account with one of the most efficient wins ever seen in the organisation and will hope to welcome a debutant Bas Koenig (2-0-0) in a similar fashion. Chulainn's game plan is fairly obvious. The powerful wrestler will look for the early takedown and then do his best Hulk impression on Koenig’s face. Far less in known about the Dutchman Koenig, with rumours that he may be a clinch specialist but we will only truly find out once he has entered the USFC cage.

Smaller weight fighters are renown for epic back and forth contests where plenty of leather lands but in this Featherweight duel between Sam Slapper (2-1-0) and “Action” Ozzie Price (1-1-0), it may well be the first man to connect that walks away with his hand raised high. These men come into this match with similar pasts having both fought back from difficult starts to their careers and both landed ferocious first round knockout victories in their previous outing. The winner will be an opponent many in the division will want to avoid in the future.

Two fighters seemingly on different paths enter the cage for the fourth fight of the night. Gaius Julius Caesar (3-1-0) is coming off three consecutive victories while Connor “Papi” Pappas (3-3-0) has suffered two demoralising defeats. Yet it may well be a much closer fight than most predict as Pappas has the uncanny ability to upset the heavy favourite and that is one thing that Caesar definitely is.

Sean “Black Majik” Spencer (2-1-0) will be looking to expel the mystique that surrounds The Legend Zatoichi (2-0-0). Unusually for the USFC, these two men share a previous opponent in fellow welterweight Sven “The Hen” Jorgensen with the Norwegian defeating Spencer at USFC 2 but losing to Zatoichi at USFC 6. However this does not make Zatoichi the clear favourite as both fights were razor close decisions that could have gone either way. In fact, it is incredibly like the judges to be involved in deciding this one as well.

The main card opens up with the first title fight of the night, as Jerome “Little Jerry” Seinfeld (2-2-0) defends his middleweight belt for the very first time against the surprisingly young Kenneth Keats (4-2-0).

There can be little doubt that Brooklyn born Seinfeld will have the fans backing against the Englishman Keats who will be flying in just a few days before the event starts. This home town backing may be critical for Seinfeld as a partizan New York crowd can intimidate the most fearless of fighters and Keats is a very young man to be taking on such a massive fight.

Skills wise it would immediately appear to be Seinfeld’s fight on the feet and Keats on the floor but that would be over-simplifying matters greatly due to both men being pretty well rounded. Patience will probably be the biggest key as exploiting the smallest gap could be the difference between winning or losing a round. Although some cynics have suggested that Keats may well have to finish the fight if he is to get the result as the judges could well be influenced by the crowd.

Someone will suffer their first loss in the USFC when Chang “Khan” Ryu (2-1-0) and Brain Buro (2-1-0) is over. It will be a huge shock if more than a few seconds of this one is spent in the grappling game as neither man has shown any other inclination than to hurt an opponent as quickly as possible. This does put huge pressure on both men though as there is no plan B to go to. So don’t be surprised if this one ends before the first five minutes are up.

Another fight that is sure to end early, the next challenger for the 170 pound belt will be decided between Tim “Tornado” Hawk (3-0-0) and Charles Bolton (3-0-0).

Hawk is a powerful striker who is used to putting away fighters early. So is Bolton. Bolton has never really been challenged by an opponent. Neither has Hawk. Hawk has two children to fight for at home. Hawk might have a hamster who he needs new bedding… Okay the similarities are more to do with their career than their home lives but there can be little doubt this will be a slug fest with one huge pay day on the line.

Many commentators believe that a fighter is not a true champion until he has defended the belt successfully. Corey “Punishment Walk” Parker (4-0-0) has that chance against the heavyweight divisions’ premium submission expert L Manning Vines (3-0-0).

This fight will be all about controlling distance. Parker is the stronger striker and better wrestler but also knows that he is in deep trouble if the fight ends up on the floor. Usually you would expect Parker to find the clinch before unleashing shots but that just seems like an opportunity for Manning to pull guard on him. So it will be vital for Parker not to allow any grappling to happen at all.

Of course Manning will be looking for any opportunity to drag the fight into his domain. He may even be as vulnerable standing with Parker as the champion is with Manning on the ground. How the challenger remedies these difficulties looks problematic. He clearly isn’t going to blast double legs from the outside so he is going to have to look at a more subtle approach. Maybe even a few surprise haymakers might be the answer. Whatever Manning does, Parker will be the favourite because all MMA fights start on the feet.

The main event of the evening pits the USFC’s first ever Light Heavyweight champion Javier Martinez (4-1-0) against the biggest free agent pick up in USFC history, Divock “Belgian Beast” Origi (8-0-0).

Lets be honest here, all the hype has been about the challenger. Unbeaten in eight fights and already a veteran of another New York organisation, Origi has the opportunity to dominate the USFC’s light heavyweight division for the foreseeable future. The champion comes into the fight as both the underdog and the forgotten.

The question is what Martinez can do to stop the “Belgian Beast” before he gets started. The most obvious option is to put him on his back. How good Origi is in that position is an unknown and the fans have already seen how quickly Martinez can blast out an opponent with ground and pound. What the champion mustn't do is get into the clinch where Origi has been unstoppable. The upper cut being an especially nasty weapon of his.

Who will walk out the champion? Probably Origi. Who will win? The fans of the USFC.

Divock "Belgian Beast" Origi

I'm happy that I can fight for the belt at USFC. I respect my opponent a lot, but he has looked very one-dimensional so far. I'm curious to see if he will have added some weapons to his arsenal in his last training camp. For the fans, a standup war is always more attractive, but to be honest, if he once again tries to take his opponent down and gnp me, I'll be ready for that. I for sure have added some new weapons to my arsenal and I feel like a more complete fighter. Hopefully for the fans, Martinez has become a more complete martial artist as well. I'm pretty sure he won't dare to stand with me, but who knows, maybe his balls are bigger than I expect !
