We put on a savage display of heavyweight dynamite for several rounds, with a huge victory and the champion gets to revenge his only career loss... I waited... And still no word from our employers. I guess we hyped the fight enough ourselves. Here is my review: Once again, Shango is robbed by referees who are scared of a little blood. A lucky Theodore Thindercunt is saved on a technicality. Guest Posted April 26, 2016 Report Share Posted April 26, 2016 Top Dog Preview will be live from our arena of choice the Hard Knocks, i think this is our best card to date and big expectations from everyone.....We lattley have decrease the smalk talk ii think the island athletic comission bans and fines put some managers away , but well we have to work with what we got , keep it fun and dont forget to avoid the "forbiden" words.....lol....we have a couple of aces on our sleves regarding superfights and event upgrade....keep in mind the new changes regarding low ranked fighters in their respective divisions.....we only have slots available for big fights....i guess some of you will have to get that hype from QFC fights, you free to them but will be a must win situation because doing those QFC fights it can work either way regarding hype.....PAYPERVIEW 185 lbs TITLE Carlos Newton 7-0 v Gleb Zheglov 5-0 This is a very good fight on papper will the fighters live to expectations and give the fans a great fight?.....well me i think they will i think this two unbeaten fighters are the island cream of the crop....this two midleweights have been runing trough oponents like if they were nothing specialy the champ, he finished all but one of is fights inside 1 round and i have a feeling he s aproach will be exacly the same here ....hes manager is one of the best "newcomer" managers of the year untill now.....hes fighters are very well treated and they come to win.....if it works why change?!.....but Gleb is a diferent kind of animal in my opinion hes a very quick boxer and hes dirty boxing from the clinch is second to none...... Prediction: Carlos Newton by Submission 265 lbs Otis Whittaker 6-1 v Mark Wahlberg 5-1 This one is not a title fight but is one of our best hyped fights in the card....it will be fire works when this two heavyweights meet .....Otis used to be managed by Peel Steel and is a former undisputed champion but was realesed and was picked up by Reggie Thistleton (Highland Island Boss)...1+1= 2!....he will leave when the contract finishes ,hes a realy good fighter but i cant lie about this one...i hoope he loses this fight,and if there is a fighter that can shut him down that fighter is Mark, he loves the clinch so he will thrive against Otis....and he knows a win here will get him a title shot.... Prediction:Mark Wahlberg 145 lbs TITLE Alexander Vermeer v Jesus Icon For me he is the best P4P fighter in the island today....The Dutchman route to stardom has been nothing short of spectacular , he avenge hes only carrer loss by knocking out the champion Hop Sing Jung twice and did the same with Alpha gama retiring the former ......hes about to get into our HOF and he will defenitly get that award if he wins here....hes up against Icon ,a fighter that he beat already before....but every fight is diferente and circumstancies change ...Icon has won every fight but the one against the champion and he looks determined to avenge that loss, he said he knows he has a great task in front of him but hes looking forward to the chalange..... Prediction: Alexander Vermeer by Decision 145 lbs Hop Sing Jung v Asato Mikio Whoever wins this one will get the next title shot for sure,but i think it might be for an interim belt.....and for Hop Sing this will be a defining moment in hes carreer....this former judo champion was tought to be unbeatable at one stage of hes martial arts carreer, but it all changed in hes last couple of fights, loosing twice to the corrent champion....the loss humble him a bit and he looks revitalized a new man ready to choke people out....Asato is a diferent animal hes been knocking people out for fun and doesnt seem realy conserned who we trow hes way...took less then 2 sec for him to accept the fight.... Prediction:Asato Mikio by TKO 155 lbs Pyry Kontio v Blaster Monocastor JJ is my brother but i have to go with the former champion here,he is one of my favourite island fighters and i think he was unlucky loosing hes belt, a couple of adjustments needed and he looks like he did that.....a win here will get him a title shot a hes eyes tell me that he is a man on a mission....Monocator however is no chump,with good chin and good kicks he likes to stay in the outside but looks very well conditioned and im sure he wont mind the clinch neither, but i think he has hooles in hes game and Kontio will capitalize on it.... Prediction:Pyry Kontio by submission 205 lbs Vanilla Isis v Victor Champ I think Victor Champ is in over hes head here, he will crumble to Isis relentless pressure in the clinch...Isis will clinch and cut the distance so he can avoid danger from that big right hand that Victor possesses....i dont think this one will go the distance but i dont think it will be finish quick neither....both fighters have a very tactical aproach and will be the most inteligente that will have the uperhand here.... Prediction:Vanilla Isis by TKO 135 lbs Issumatar Tariaksuq v Heinz Beanz This is a no brainer no doubt in my mind who will win here , is fact i think Issumatar will get a title shot after he wins here.....all hes fight went the distance ,all but one ,the one he lost by submission....hes managed by Northen Ninja (Newton manager too) and i have a better chance of winning the lottery then he has to loose....Beanz said he will probably retire if he looses the fight.... Prediction:Issumatar Tariaksuq by decision 265+ lbs Luigi Linguine v Travis Browne We as an organization realy hoope Luigi does well here that would give us options regarding title fights contenders...i think he has all it takes to come away with a quick win here without taking too much damage and in my opinion this will be your classic clinch rape matinee....Travis lost hes first fight and i dont think he will do much better here ...0-2 will make hes life very dificult regarding hes stay in Island FC.... Prediction:Luigi Linguine 265 lbs Roland La Starza v Mike Sanchez I cant say much about Mike , but hes making hes professional debut here and he looks to have a pretty well balanced skill set but still not enough i think , at only 18 years of age he should have stay in the gym not come into the cage....easy picking but Roland wont mind about that , bare in mind this was probably the weekest match up possible and with the new changes regarding the rooster might have been the last easy oponent he will ever face in Island FC... Prediction: Roland La Starza 265 lbs Kash Singh v Kayleb Anderson The worse fight on the card record wise both fighters with apauling records but hey stay positive at least we know one of them will come away with a win...i dont think that, that will realy matter because both this fighter will probably get the marching order very soon if the dont start winning..... Prediction:DRAW KNOCK!...KNOCK!.... WHO IS IT? "ITS YOUR MOTHER FUCKING WORSE NIGHTMARE" WHAT YOU WANT? "I WANT YOUR HEART AND SOUL" TO DO WHAT? with amazing SALES on the best island clothing designs....we had a big bantamweight fight heading the card as our main event , between two undefeated fighters and loads of promotion old guard in action....some of this fighters realy shown improvements on their game.....as expected we are rock solid as one of the best island organization ever, lets make this season 5 the best we ever seen to date and dont forget next season we will be back even stronger.....but again ,very competitive divisions, so if you one of those managers that like to keep your fighters 0 intact, dont even try to sign your fighter with us.....we only have big tigers here and chances are you will get your ass whooped every now and then....WARRIORS NEVER GIVE UP....now the CHEEEEDAR: 135 lbs TITLE Royce Disgracie vs Miesha Tate What else can i say about this one, big build up loads of trash talk but it all came down to that moment when the cage was shut and the ref screamed LETS DO THIS....Royce shown some amazing skills and tactical knowlage, very good game plan(Ronnie Pickering style...looool...) never the less executed to prefection....but none of that woul be possible without the right skills and regarding takedown defence,this is one of the best performance i have seen from any one....he stuffed nothing less then 16 takedown attempts from a very good takedown specialist and former undisputed champion .....in the clinch he was "the killer" absolutly mauled the champion from that position, and there is only so much a man's chin can take...he talk the talk (anoying to some,funny for me) but he walk the walk, make no mistake about that....the former champion will have to take this loss on the chin ,correct the errors ,specialy with game plan, and im sure he will be back stronger.....dominante 1st round TKO win for Royce Disgracie 170 lbs Carlos Diego Ferreira vs Heimdal The Destoryer Carlos is a very experienced fighter with an amazing amateur record and that showed here by the way he removed any danger coming hes way,regarding hes oponent being an exelente boxer with heavy hands, by managing to take the fight to the ground very early in the fight,he failed 3 attempts before he get it and it could have been all very diferent, if he didnt manage to do it and hes sttempts kept being shut....but he did it and did it well and from then on was all a question of time ....hes BJJ skills shined trough and he manage to finish the fight in quick fashion with a beautifull kimura....quick 1st round submission win for Carlos Diego Ferreira 135 lbs Winston Roscoe vs Ken Garrison (KO OF THE NIGHT AWARD) This is mma not wrestling some managers keep reeling on wrestling styles geting favoured in some technical rules to win fights.....guess what graplig is great and very tuff but all those technics are as eficient as the condition of your body and mind allows you to apply them...meaning it all changes when you get punched in the chin, conditioning, and mental strenghts go out the window when your chin gets cliped.....thats what happend here Ken was very one dimentional with hes aproch here and he couldnt figure out another way to win this ,but going for that takedown relentlessly....you dont have to be a great wrestler to avoid the take down...and thats what won the fight for Winston that and hes strenght in the clinch controling well and when those iron fists conected it was all over....impressive 1st round TKO win for Winston Roscoe 135 lbs Mark Corden vs Prostate Orgasm (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT AWARD) The upset of the night for sure, well at least from my prespective has a promoteur ,the new golden boy got beaten on hes well anticipated debut and that was not great news for the promotion or Orgasm ....Mark made sure the new superstar wont forget hes promotion debut for the wrong reasons.....he dominated the new superstar big time ,i think the phisycals diference show here ....he brutalized Orgasm for nearly 3 rounds before knocking him out with 2 sec left in the fight....DRAMATIC.... allways beating him to the punch from the outside and very dominante in the clinch too he tought the new comer that ruff seas aproach, hes he the real deal or just another QFC can crusher...i think hes legit and in hes next couple of fights he will clear doubsters....brutal 3rd round TKO win for Mark Corden 155 lbs Martin Luther King Jr vs Alex De Nascimento Martin is another one of Gianka's flashy fighters , hes a good wrestler and a very powerfull brawler those skills allow him to absolutly man handle hes oponent here very dominant from the top position in the ground ....a bit limited with hes options but very good and determined in what he does....Alex did well defending agains every submission attempt from Martin...but the relentles pressure of Martin and hes amazing work rate earn him a win here......dominante 2nnd round submission win for Martin Luther King 155 lbs Anthony Graham vs Joseph Benavidez (SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT AWARD) Anthony Graham run goes on hes now 5-0 and the future looking bright ,this win puts him very close from a title shot ,im sure 1 more win and he gets it....the fight in itself was not the most entretaining for the average fan , but it was a very tactical grapling match ,for the most educated mma fan ....both fighters skills canceled each others off and we were geting ready for a long and boring fight but in the bigining of the second Benavidez signed hes death sentence when he decided to take Graham down and landed in hes guard, Graham waisted no time and was going for it switching and faking attempts until the guilote choke presented itself and he finished the fight.......good 2nd round submission win for Anthony Graham 155 lbs Sun Lee vs Tony Stevenson Well the only reason why Lee didnt get the submission of the night award was because hes my fighter and i dont want people to think our fighters get special treatment, in fact they do but allways on the loosing side of it......the fight went exacly has predicted i was expecting Tony to strugle against Lee in the stand up and shoot for the takedown, he did just that and Lee was prepared and equiped to score a beautifull armbar....Quick 1st round submission win for Sun Lee 170 lbs Endang Kurnia vs Last King Jr Kurnia GNP was brutal and very eficiente , he took the fight to the ground into King's guard and the advanced swifly into side control then he beat him up like a helpless bitch from that position....he didnt even try to improve position anymore he just kept pounding King's head against the canvas.....King's future doesnt look bright the youngster desperatly needs to get a couple of wins in the row, but in my opinion i would keep him in the gym training instead of fighting.....dominante 1st round TKO win for Endang Kurnia 135 lbs Jimmy Kalfic vs Bart Paw This fight was back and forward with good periods of entretainment both fighters made up for they low skill set with their amazing heart and conditioning ....Kalic took the first round ,he scored a takedown and controled the clinch, the second round went Bert's way he basicly dominated the ground exanges controling a dominant position ,not the most exiting aproach but gave him the round, the third was more of the same boring fight and both fighters knew this one could go either way if they go the distance, none show killer instinct or weapons to do so.....boring decision win for Jimmy Kalfic 265+ lbs Chap Muay vs Philippe Leclair I had so much hoope in this youngster when he first signed but my hoopes are fading away after every performance....i dont think hes up toscratch to compete agains such battle harden fighters like the ones in Island FC , im not saying is not turning good...im just saying hes not ready yet....Chap won the fight then retired....he said hes pussy hurts FOR FUN "If you are caught unprepared by a sudden rainstorm, you should not run foolishly down the road or hide under the eves of houses. You are going to get soaked either way. Accept that from the beginning and go on your way. This way you will not be distressed by a little rain. The whole fight he was in trouble and in bad situations he didn't want to be in, so I knew if I stayed patient I would catch him with something, but his submission defence is excellent because it took me much longer than expected.
