Guest Posted May 2, 2016 Report Share Posted May 2, 2016 Warlords will be live from the Hard Knocks arena in The Island and this event will be sponsored by Levithian Clothing now on SALES, the best designes at the best prices Warlords will kick start the month and what a month we have in front of us , the season is reaching a crucial point for everyone envolved with the last chance for many, to make an impact still, in the most exiting and controversial island season ever.....our first card of the month will be headed by the bantamweight title fight and from the co-main event will emerge the next title chalanger.....the rest of the card is not bad neither , i will be cage side calling the fights ....now the fights: 135 lbs Miesha Tate v Walton Kunz This is our main event of the evening , this two have meet before and on that ocasion thaey fought for the belt ....Miesha won that fight by submission to retain the belt , but we have came a long way since and both fighters had some losses in this period , Miesha is not the champion anymore but a win here will defenitly get him another shot at the title.....the same goes for Kuntz , a win here will put him 1st in line for the next title shot , he has exelent boxing skills and hes a BJJ purple belt, having some nice submission wins to hes name ......this fight will probably be very similar to their last meeting , i just hoope that the end result is diferent.....one think is for sure whoever wins this one will get the next title shot..... Prediction:Miesha Tate by submission 135 lbs TITLE Royce Disgracie v Mark Corden Well it must be said that Royce first defense will be against a very average oponent, it looks like he was favoured by the "GOD's".....Royce comes here has the heavy favourite and for all that matters ,has the reigning champ, some say that you only become a true champion when you successfully defend your belt.....he has the skills and the will to reign for long, but every time he will step into that cage he will have a bigger chalange in front of him ......Royce is a tactical fighter with good chin and good mma IQ , he reads well the fight and hes oponent, spoting strenghts and weeknesses , and timing well hes precise attacks a brawl is not an issue for him ,he has display some good clinchwork......Mark is the heavier fighter and a big underdog to take this , he earn hes title shot on hes last fight ,he TKO a newly signed promotion future superstar in the last second of the fight, it was a great fight ,again he was a big underdog on that fight to....i realy think hes will and determination will cause the champion real trouble...... Prediction:Royce Disgracie by decision 265 lbs Michael Campion v Igor Kolivanov It seems to me that Michael has the advantage on every skill but MT ,age and height,and Igor, will defenitly need to use this few advantages he has, i can see him going for the MT clinch and with balanced agression he will try to land those dangerous elbows he possesses......hes chin will allow him to take whatever Michael has to trow at him striking wise but Michael is a very inteligent counter fighter with a superior BJJ level, 1+1=2, he will defenitly wait for the right moment but eventualy he will take this fight to the ground and try to submit Igor......Igor will have to keep it standing and wear hes oponent down till he gets the finish or maybe even get the decision..... Prediction:Igor Kolivanov vs Decision 205 lbs Stu Peed v Mzai Uno Stu is a quick counter fighter and he uses hes good takedowns and hes wrestling to apply is game plan, and its simple is game plan, realy, he takes you down and then he tries to puncture a hoole in your face , brutal GNP and to be honest with you i dont think he will change hes aproach here ....."dont fix it if its not broken" allways heard that and on this particular case makes all the sense in the world.....Stu has finished all hes 3 oponents inside the 1st round but now hes facing another undefeated fighter and Uno can mitigate Stu progress and overwelming performances ....hes a very strong athlete and hes very good in the clinch ,very agressive and hes strenght allows him to dominate very well that position,specialy in this weight division, hes the slight underdog but he defenitly has a chance here based on hes form..... Prediction:Stu Peed by TKO 170 lbs DJ Jordan v Alexi Tamov Jordan has the experience on hes side he had a few more fight then Alexi and that experience could prove decisive here.....hes one of the few fighters from Extreme Mixed Martial Arts still active and hes doing alright considering the tuff oponents he faced so far, this time he has an easier task in hands against a very unexperienced 24 year old, Jordan likes to get on the inside and punish hes oponent with hes good MT clinch hes very powerfull and he can handle hes own in the ground exanges to, but he canot understimate Alexi, hes very quick and has very solid MT ..... Prediction: DJ Jordan 265+ lbs Jordan Herring v Shed Marron Well Herring has every chance of winning this based on the stats but styles make fights and i have a feeling this is the wrong match up for him, hes facing a very inteligent brawler with superior ground game oposing hes exelent boxing and clinchwork....the chin is the main question here, wich fighter has the better chin?....they will get taged and they both have heavy hands so ,we will see..... Prediction:Shed Marron by submission 170 lbs Bruno Frade v Vito Scaletta This has Vito written all over it , besides having a great avatar(props to jj) hes form has been nothing short then spectacular....he has been knocking out oponents left and right, and none of hes 4 oponents survive past the 1st round....this 18year old is one of our promotion future stars for sure, but only if he keeps winning fights....every time he steps into that cage there is a chance that he might loose, but i realy dont think it will happen here thoe....hes facing another 18 year old newcomer , with very little hoopes of gaining anything but experience and a sore body ,with this fight..... Prediction:Vito Scaletta by KO 185 lbs Igor Pao v Jimmy Sabelo I think Pao will run over Sabelo like a run away train , he will take the youngster down and he will submit him in spectacular fashion inside 1 round....i just dont see how the youngster will be able to avoid the takedow and then defend against the submission attempts, i cant see it happening, however the fight starts standing and thats Sabelo best chance i think , he must use hes reach advantage and stay on the outside countering with bombs and hooping that something lands...not happening Prediction:Igor Pao 265+ lbs Rala Mord v Qi Yinlong Rala is a FA and will be realesed after this fight, the question is will he leave in a wheelchair or in a body bag...what do you think?...lol...but yeh ,no way hes winning this one Qi is doing well and i think he will absolutly maule Rala in the clinch and i cant realy see this one going the distance....Rala have spend the last couple of weeks ,indulging on coke and hookers ,i doubt it will end up on the high for him....well he will probably fight high still, but by the end of the fight he will be wondering if mma was ever for him.....career as a pimp follows.... Prediction:Qi Yinlong by TKO 145 lbs Jerry Cantrell v Eduardo Cedeno This one will kick start the event and it is a toss of the coin realy....both fiighters with distincts skills but well match up, judging on their past bouts this one will go the distance ....they have gone the distance all of their fights and i expect the same here....they look well equiped skill wise and tacticaly they are all over the place...very tiring and painfull ,for them and for us as fans.....saying that Cedeno won hes decision and looks the more solid and inteligent fighter, if i had to put my money on one of them i would go with Cedeno(but only a small wager).... Prediction:Theodore Thundercunt TKO (for sure ) 205 lbs Artur Syrowatka 3-0 v Dynamite Dave 4-2 Dave has the skill advantage here ,hes a solid boxer with KO power and hes BJJ is pretty good to , i think he will try to counter with the clinch and use hes superior MT to gain advantage from that position, he has a task in hands if he decides to go there,Artur is very good from that position to ,but he has a more agressive aproach with hes relentless dirty boxing skills, hes chin is second to none but he will need to be very carefull in the ground exanges if the fight goes there.... Prediction: Artur Syrowatka by TKO 205 lbs Hagrid Potter 2-0 v John Bravo 2-1 I think Hagrid looks realy solid to take this one here but he will have to respect Bravo's BJJ brown belt, saying that i cant realy see how Bravo will manage to take the fight to the ground, hes best chance will be pulling guard from the clinch,because in the clinch is where this fight will unfold and the better but most of all ,the more inteligent fighter will get the advantage ,either Hagrid manages to hold that position long enough to cause any major damage and Bravo canot be to deliberate with hes takedown sttempts or he riscks to get knocked by Hagrid Kicks... Prediction:Hagrid Potter by KO 265 lbs Pedro Carneiro 2-0 v Shaun Russell 2-0 Pedro likes a good brawl but so far none of hes two oponents could give him one ,hes punching power is something to be proud of and he is very athletic and fast , hes speed is amazing and could prove a determinante factor here ....hes realy quick shooting for the takedown and hes agressivity in the grapling exanges makes him a nightmare to try to control...last time we saw him he was making hes promotional debut ,but this time is hes oponent making hes....i give Russel little chance after hes manager realese him making him a FA i doubt hes been doing any training in the gym and hes lifestyle now, might not be the right one for a prize fighter.... Prediction:Pedro Carneiro by submission 205 lbs Tobias Swanson v Kuch Sorrin I personaly think that the light heavyweight division needs a bit of spice and we have a couuple of fighters coming trough, Tobias is one of those fighters in my opinion, he was realy impressive on hes last fight ,,finishing hes oponent in 39sec with a brutal TKO, and another performance like that one here will send a message to the rest of the division about hes worth.....he knows how to adabt hes exelente boxing skills to mma and hes heavy hands can take down anyone at this weight class....Kuch is another FA fighter and hes now part of Island FC FA Bad Boys Gang, well at least until he gets knocked the fuck out here and gets hes ass fired..... Prediction:Tobias Swanson 170 lbs Kazushi Gracie Jr v Adrian Powers Well even if you know nothing about fighting ,once you look at the fighters stats and skill graphics, you know this one can go either of this two ways, if Gracie manages to take the fight to the ground(cant be to obvious there) he will win the fight by submission but if Adrian manages to take the fight to the clinch and keep Gracie pinned against the fence he can defenitly TKO Gracie, but again he canot be over agressive or the risks to be taken down increase.... Prediction:Adrian Powers 205 lbs Ernesto Santana v Waymon Lattimore This two 18 year olds will be facing each other in this very low profile bout none of them has a single win to their name but both have a good oportunity here to do so .......Ernesto had 2 fights in hes short mma career and lost both times , but to be honest with you we saw some progress in hes last fight he lost a decision against a 25 year old in a close fight ,i think with a little adjustment he could take this ,the problem is ,that hes hanging in the group of the Island FC FA Bad Boys Gang, basicly not training and living the wrong life style for an athlete , he will be facing another 18 year old in Waymon ,but this kid looks solid ,he had some decent time preparing for hes well anticipated debut, and when we saw him he was looking riped , hes trainig partners say that this kid is a beast specialy in the clinch, they say there is few 18 year olds in the island able to live up with the youngster in that position..... Prediction:Waymon Lattimore by KO 145 lbs Dwyane Bas 1-1 v Patrick Krupok 2-2 Well this is going to be a very tough match up for the youngster ,Krupok had 4 fights already and he has shown signs of improvement in hes game ,he won 2 of hes last 3 and in hes last fight he won the KO of he night award to....hes a very determined fighter with decent boxing skills and as far as im consern he has some nasty power on those hands, however he has an uphill task in front of him against a very solid 25 year old, he lost hes organization debut fight against Asato but this is a much more winable contest , hes strenght and hes exelente boxing skills will be something the youngster will strugle to live up with and if it goes to the ground he has a better submission game to.... Prediction:Dwyane Bas by TKO 185 lbs Marty Jonas 2-0 v Nelson Pervis 0-1 Pervis is in my opinion the better fighter of the two and hes only fight came up against a very decent oponent ,he made hes professional debut in Island FC and it was probably the wrong fight at the wrong time .....in this fight he has a good chance to put the record straight and im sure he will be looking to use hes reach and hes superior boxing skills to keep the fight in the outside and pick hes shots acuratly......this will be easier but is still a tough fight against Marty, the youngster is still unexposed and another win here will defenitly make everyone in the division take note of him....i think hes best weapon is hes heart ,hes two fights and the way he won them prove that... Prediction:Nelson Pervis by Decision 155 lbs Nathan Diaz 0-2 v Harry Wilson 0-1 The worst fight of the night will be the first fight of the night ,as allways we have 2 fighters very close from our promotion exit door, they standing in the last chance saloon but a win here for either fighter can change all that.....i favour Diaz ,he was unlucky with hes very tough match ups in hes 2 fiirst professional fights , but here hes facing another one of the Island FC FA Bad Boys Gang lads and hoopfully for us he looses and gets the fuck out of our division.... Island FC Board What can i say about last month ,we had ups and downs but we kept composure and focus on our project regarding our organization ,short term and long term plans.....short term, we are just focus in giving everyone an exiting season , our team is making an enormous effort for that to be possible, we work realy hard and finaly things are starting to roll smoothly.... on display here, but for sure we saw a lot of heart from our fighters....this was the most decisions we ever had in one single card, none less then 5 decisions in total including a five rounder for the featherweight belt....i just want to take this oportunity to say something to the competition:"Hey play by the rules!, DONT CHEAT!...it looks like they have "cloned people" working within their ranks something that the island athletic comission(MOD's) should realy look into , if the same situation would have happend with #THEUNIT ,we would be nailed to the cross....just saying ;)"....but we have an honest rooster to worry about here ,and we will keep doing just that until the season is over and behond the season is over to.....i know its still early but you can start preparing all 290k+ superstars to join us in New York after the season its over....3 Divisions will be available for all season 5 island fighters and 285k + fighters and we will do nothing done before with the 265lbs+ division , when time comes all managers will recive a PM with all information about it...NOW THE FIGHTS: 135 lbs Walton Kunz VS Miesha Tate (SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT AWARD) This was one of the quickest fights of the evening with an absolute master piece of boxing skills show by Kuntz, he was sliping and countering with insurgent like precision and defending all takedown attempts from Miesha....Miesha had 6 takedown attempts stuffed before managing to take the fight to the ground....but Kunz learned well hes lesson from their past meeting and was very quick grabing that arm and extending it....he gave the former champion ,some of hes own medecine and got one back on him....im sure this two will have their rubber match sooner then latter .....quick 1st round win for Walton Kunz 135 lbs TITLE Royce Disgracie VS Mark Corden (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT AWARD) This was Royce first title defense and he show real champion heart and determination to keep hold of hes belt....this guy has been talking the talk and today he walked the walk ....he was the dominate fighter all the way but still,Mark kept himself in the contest right to the end but he never realy posed a threat he was just hanging in there ,but you know how it goes ,it only takes 1 good shot right on the chin to cause your brain to shut down, and Royce took the risk in not going for the kill in a couple of ocasion.....determined decision win for Royce Disgracie 265 lbs Michael Campion VS Igor Kolivanov Looking at this fight stats its clear to see that Michael was razor sharp in the ground exanges and improved position at will.....in the stand up however, he was lucky that he was facing a low FA caliber fighter here, because if this was a better oponent he would have pay the price of so many takedown attempts missed, he looked exausted by the time the fight hit the matt but hes oponent very naive aproach on that aspect of the game, made hes life easier and the submission soon followed...Kolivanov lost this fight but i belive hes a very decent fighter for any manager still interested in joining us at this latte stage of the season...Good 1st round submission win for Michael Campion 205 lbs Mzai Uno VS Stu Peed This fight was long but it was crazy in there, i dont agree with the rate of the fight , well technicly was not the best fight you would ever see but heart wise, this two warrios kept fighhting and never gave up, both went trough a lot of adversity ,but never gave in ....i dont think either fighter deserves to loose here , but the begining of the third round caught the eye of the judges in my opinion....it was a devastating start of the round for Stu and he was left on surviving mode for the rest of the round.....unanimous decision win for Mzai Uno 170 lbs Alexi Tamov VS DJ Jordan This one was kind of weird some times, both fighters resumed their tactics to keep the fight in the clinch and i dont think either fighter was doing enough to win the fight ....some times their were just seating there against the cage ,talking to each other and if my eyes didnt let me down ,i think i saw Jordan kiss Alexi in the begining of the round and that was not a good idea .....in the end of the fight Alexi stated that he didnt wanted to finish the fight he just wanted to beat the living crap out of Jordan for desrespecting him like that....unanimous decision win for Alexi Tamov 265+ lbs Jordan Herring VS Shed Marron (KO OF THE NIGHT AWARD) Herring was on the rush to catch a train....he said to hes wife that he would be home for dinner and he did just that.....spin back fisted hes oponent and did a mark hunt walk out on him....very quick 1st round KO win for Jordan Herring 170 lbs Vito Scaletta VS Bruno Frade The single most impressive and better looking avatar as a 18 year old creation is for me Vito Scaletta......and fighting wise hes been blowing oponents of the watter and here was no diferent....he absolutly mauled him in the clinch and hes cardio is something to admire to, he kept striking relentlessly in the clinch and never slowed down , very impressive and next can only be a top contendership fight.....Bruno was unlucky in not geting trough the first round after taking so much punishment ,i think the ref did hes health a favour in not allowing him to go to the break and recover, the second round would have been the same and that could have caused him some realy bad injuries.....brutal 1st round TKO win for Vito Scaletta 185 lbs Igor Pao VS Jimmy Sabelo We only had 2 submissions tonight and this was one of them, Igor took advantage of Sabelo poor kicking to take him down and after that it didnt took him long to crank that arm for a kimura.....this win puts him 3-0 and the future is looking bright for the 25 year old....if he wins hes next couple of matches ,im sure he will be right in line for a shot at the title....as for sabelo he finished hes contract and he wasnt ofered a renewal....hes now a 18 year old FA with a 0-2 record...good luck kid......quick 1st round submission win for Igor Pao 265+ lbs Rala Mord VS Qi Yinlong Both fighters displayed some very poor tactics and desire to win this fight....at one stage it looked like they were competing on who would score the most takedowns...horrenndous , horrendous ,horrendous the fans looked bored as fuck and so did i calling this absolute garbage....and like if it was not enough the FA fighter won the fight.....unanimous decision win for Rala Mord 145 lbs Eduardo Cedeno VS Jerry Cantrell Eduardo found himself on the wrong ending of a beating but respect for hes bravery and chin too....he barely hanged in there to the bell and with a better game plan Cedeno could and should have won this by KO....but we cant take nothing away from Jerry ,good war.....for me this was the second best fight of the night and was given to you by two of the least ranked fighters in the division......unanimous decision win for Eduardo Cedeno WARRIOR
