umbridge1991 Posted August 28, 2016 Report Share Posted August 28, 2016 ALLIANCE WARS YOU CAN NOW CREATE YOUR FIGHTERS The Rules - Fighters can be created as soon as 300k ID hits - 5 fighters per team - Fighters must be at least 185lbs or over. Fights are at 185lbs so they must be able to cut to that weight. - Org location and fights will take place in Amsterdam - 3 weeks between fights * - No testing fighters * - Each team allowed 1 mercenary (a manager not part of the alliance) - Fights will begin approximately 1 month after creation - 1st round will be a random draw to decide match ups. - 2nd round and onward the team with the most points (if level on points most shortest fight time) will get to choose the 1st, 4th and 5th fights. Opposing team will choose 2nd and 3rd. - Picks must be in at least 1 week before the fight or the opposing captain will take your picks. * These 2 rules were voted on in the previous thread Scoring & Layout - 3 points for KO or Sub victory - 2 points for decision victory - 1 point for draw - Minus 20 points if a fighter on your team is sacked and can no longer continue the tournament, any team facing another team with a man down will be awarded 3 points - Tiebreakers will be down to time fought There will be 2 groups of 5, each alliance will fight the 4 other alliances in their group once. The winner of group A will fight the runner up of group B, winner of group B will fight the runner of group A in the semi final. Representatives from 9 Alliances + 1 team of mercenaries signed up to fight each other in this team competition for the ultimate bragging rights! As The Corporation are part of this competition i will be giving my thoughts each week on how i think the new up and comers from Team Corporation will do in this competition. So sit back, relax and grab yourself a cold one as I present to you another edition of: http://i.imgur.com/yPwBr4L.png For the first round 5 x 18 year old young prospects in the Middleweight division will be making their debuts as they try to make a name for themselves. Which of these guys will become future legends? We get a glimpse tonight as The Corporation take on BAMF Army in Amsterdam. FORTITUDE presents: Alliance Wars R1: Group B Anti Hero v Major Force In a classic striker v grappler fight these two young men will look to take the other to their world. I imagine Force would try to take Hero down but the only way i see Force hitting the ground is after Hero knocks him out. I have heard rumours that Force has not been taking his training seriously and is coming into this fight out of shape which is not a good way to make your debut. Sully's Predicion: Hero to finish him early in the first round. Alex Sims v Sam "J" Rem A fight i am biased towards as Sims i have seen him in the gym and he is the son of my head coach. Not much is known about Rem other than he is pretty well rounded. He seems to have the advantage on the ground but Sims will be working to prevent that from happening. Sully's Prediction: Sims to use his size advantage to wear his opponent down to earn the TKO. Eric Wiesen v Austin Braga A standup war as as Muay Thai fighter Wiesen takes on boxer Braga. I doubt this will go to the ground and those who enjoy a nice standing affair should tune in to this one. Sully's Prediction: Both men are pretty tall and have good reach. This could be a scrappy affair and one hit could end it. Look for Wiesen to chop down Braga and land a nice kick to finish him. Rafael Vaz v Josh "Pants" Fidler Both men appear to be clinch fighters with Vaz appearing to have the edge in Muay Thai while Fidler looks to have the advantage in boxing. I expect a chess match of sorts in this fight with the victor the one who wants it more. Sully's Prediction: Despite a rumour that Vaz is not coming into this fight 100% i think he should be able to wear his opponent down with strikes before finishing him late in the fight. Wulfsige "The Silent Assassin" Eduard v Alliance Wars We finish off with Eduard who signed on to represent The Corporation as he faces Wars. Eduard's main skill looks to be his wrestling but does he want to go to the ground against a Purple belt? Interesting fight and i see a very good back and forth ground battle. Sully's Prediction: You know that old saying... Hit a Purple Belt and he becomes a Blue Belt. Hit him again and he becomes a White Belt. I see Eduard out muscling his opponent and wearing him down with strikes on the ground eventually getting the late TKO victory. And there you have it!! Those are my predictions for the first round of Alliance Wars! So grab yourself a cold one, make yourself comfortable and tune in to see how YOUR alliance does! I was trying to set my sliders earlier today, however the wifi wasn't working in my new house so once I got it to work I completely forgot to set sliders so the default sliders resulted in my fighter with useless takedowns attempting non-stop takedowns.
