(Heavyweight Division) Louden Swain (0-0) versus William Thatcher (0-0)

Louden Swain is a former amateur wrestler from Spokane, Washington. He currently lives in Amsterdam where he trains in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber private gym. He will be making his debut here against teammate Thatcher.

William Thatcher is a Muay Thai kickboxer from the UK that currently lives in Amsterdam where he trains alongside opponent Louden Swain out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber gym. Like his opponent here, he is making his pro MMA debut in this bout.

agyP2dG.jpg

(Bantamweight Division) Bobby Jones (2-2) versus Fedor Ziuzlikov (5-1)

Bobby Jones is a wrestling stylist that is four bouts into his PRO-MMA career. Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, Bobby lives in Montreal, Canada where he trains out of Whitey's Gym.

After winning two of his bouts in the regional QFC arena, Bobby signed with UnderGround Fight Club. In his debut, Bobby faced felloe wrestler Titus Contreras. The bout would be a competitive wrestling match that Bobby would, unfortunately, come up short in.

Fedor Ziuzlikov is, like his opponent, a wrestler with a BJJ blue belt. Originally from Dedovsk, Russia, Fedor currently livcs in Los Angeles, USA, where he trains out of the Death Valley Training Facility. He started his MMA career in the QFC 902 bantamweight tournament, where he submitted Zombie Houston in under a minute before losing to Adam Hatton in round 2 of the tourney. Fedor made an appearance at Batoru FC 17, submitting Sava Savov with a first round armbar. After that he returned to the QFC arena, where he won three consecutive bouts via stoppage.

Fedor comes into this fight on a four fight winning streak.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Ross Glinner (5-0) versus Buster Phoenix (2-1)

Ross Glinner is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and undefeated mixed martial arts fighter. Originally from Cardiff, Wales, Ross lives in London, England, where he trains out of the Cozad dumpster gym. This submission specialist has fought the bulk of his fights in the regional QFC arena before signing with UnderGround Fight Club.

In his early days, Ross fought in the local shows near where he lived. His first four bouts were against the same guy, a fellow Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt named Gordon Ryan. After strangling, contorting, and twisting Ryan into submission on three separate occasions, Ross reached out for a new opponent. In his final QFC match, Ross defeated BJJ blue belt Lurifax Anderson via first round kneebar.

With four successful QFC bouts on his resume, Ross signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 17. His opponent was power wrestler Fil Bojtojovskiy. I'm quite sure I've written that name wrong at least once in the past. Fil did exactly what he always does: clinch and take the fight to the ground. This played right into the wants and desires of Ross Glinner, who allowed the takedown and promptly submitted the white belt wrestler with a guillotine choke in just two minutes flat.

Buster Phoenix is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from Austin, Texas, USA. He has long since moved to Amsterdam where he trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility.

Like his opponent, Buster started his career in the local QFC arena, fighting anybody that would show up to take the challenge. In his debut he was paired up with three fight veteran and BJJ blue belt Mikel Charles. The fight would ultimately be a short one as Buster brought the fight to the ground immediately and submitted Charles with a first round armbar. Next he faced seven fight veteran Renaldo Herrera. As if touched by fate, the fight would last just about as long almost to the second, also ending in an armbar.

After signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Buster faced world class striker and BJJ brown belt Huwan Bagwis at UnderGround FC 17. The fight would be short and brutal, with Bagwis dominating in the clinch throughout the second round before stopping Buster with strikes in the second.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Claudio Escorre (4-0) versus Iron Jussi (0-0)

Claudio Escorre is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter that specializes in boxing. Claudio trains out of the Rio Fight Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Claudio made an early name for himself fighting on the streets of Rio, brawling with older boys. With a little training under his belt, he began fighting in the QFC arena where he won three consecutive bouts via brutal knockout.

His most recent bout came at UnderGround FC 17, where he faced Kamen Kamenov. The fight would be an ugly one with Kamenov staying close and forcing grappling exchanges to avoid the power of Escorre. In the end however the defenses of the Brazilian bruiser would prove enough to keep the submission fighter at bay. Escorre would walk away with the decision.

Iron Jussi is a Finnish boxer that is making his MMA debut here. Originally from Kauhava, Finland, he has moved to Helsinki for training. He trains out of the Holding Cell gym alongside multi-time world champion Neil Nucombe.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Kamen Kamenov (3-6-1) versus Rodimus Prime (6-1)

Kamen Kamenov is a submission grappler with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This ten fight veteran trains out of the 3Band MMA gym in Los Angeles, California, USA. He made his start on The Island during its ninth season where he fought primarily in the Island Vale Tudo promotion.

Kamen started his MMA journey on The Island in its ninth season, fighting most of his fights for the Island Vale Tudo fight organization. Although he would win only two bouts on The Island, he would face serious competition including bouts against Lurch Addams, Strike Zombie, as well as a fight against former 301st SPARTA champion Emilio Jacinto. Kamen did participate in the final tournament but didn't make it past the preliminaries.

Kamen has fought three times for UnderGround Fight Club since, knocking out Boz Rutten in his debut. Subsequent appearances have not fared so well for Kamen, who has been defeated by Torq Bosley and Claudio Escorre in recent outings.

Rodimus Prime is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter with a purple belt. Originally from Compton, California, he now trains out of Tokyo, Japan.

After a successful debut in the QFC arena, Rodimus fought once in the UnderGround Fight Club promotion, submitting future champion Total Badass. After that, Prime returned to the QFC arena to submit Darren Chettri and Nigel Jenkins before suffering his lone career defeat against Brock Stockhold.

Back in UnderGround Fight Club, Prime submitted Ariel Ortega at UnderGround FC 8. In his most recent bout, Rodimus faced Shane Nakamura. The fight would go the distance with Rodimus taking home the decision.

(Welterweight Division) Seamus Coleman (5-2) versus Test Fighter A (5-0)

Seamus Coleman is a world class Irish kickboxer striker currently living in New York, USA. He represents the Ramirez School Of Excellence fight team.

In his MMA debut, Seamus battled future UGFC champion Guido Turturro, ultimately submitting to a first round armbar. Seamus then signed with FARTMMA, going on a three fight winning streak there with all three bouts ending in a unanimous decision. At DUEL 2, Seamus was defeated by Hiro Takahashi.

Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Seamus stopped Pedro Navas at UnderGround FC 6. In his most recent bout he defeated Marin Ivanov via unanimous decision.

Test Fighter A is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter with five bouts on his resume.

His first four bouts took place in the regional QFC arena where he went 4-0. After dominating fighters in the smaller shows, Test signed with UnderGround Fight Club. At UnderGround FC 15, Test faced undefeated BJJ purple belt Ross Tyson. Although Tyson would have a few brief moments of success in the second round, he would be otherwise blown out as Test Fighter A dominated his way to a unanimous decision victory.

h6RUPdn.jpg

(Welterweight Division) Petah Miller (6-2) versus Pedro Navas (6-1)

Petah Miller is a Muay Thai stylist from Montreal, Canada that currently resides in Los Angeles, USA. Known for his incredible durability and thunderous knockout power, Petah trains out of the prestigious Know-How Knights gym alongside Pedro Navas.

Petah began his career in the QFC arena, succumbing to a first round submission loss to Terrell Kerr. Petah would return to the QFC stage three more times in short order, accruing three consecutive finishes before signing with the Ultimate Pit Fighting promotion.

At UPF 2: Brutality, Petah made his UPF debut taking on kickboxer Flit Ashter. Miller dominated the fight in the clinch before finishing Ashter in the second round. After an identical performance against fellow wrestler Ronaldo Do Nascimento, Petah was submitted by BJJ brown belt and future IFA champion Gabriel Torres.

After signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Petah faced slugger Hector Alvarez at UnderGround FC 18. Petah showcased his boxing, knocking Alvarez out in just twenty-seven seconds.

Pedro Navas is a heavy handed boxing stylist from Los Angeles, USA. He trains out of the Know-How Knights gym alongside Petah Miller.

Pedro was a career QFC fighter with five of his seven bouts taking place in the regional shows. In those five victories, Pedro only left the opening round twice but always came out with a finish.

Pedro signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 6 to take on Seamus Coleman, a world class Muay Thai striker. The fight would late into the third round before Coleman connected with the fight ending blows to win it all. Pedro returned at UnderGround FC 19 to face Nick Lucas Li. The two Muay Thai stylists battled it out in the clinch but in the end it was Pedro Navas that walked away with the victory.

(Bantamweight Division) Aurthur Fleck (11-1) versus Vip Winner (7-1)

Aurther Fleck is a former amateur wrestler that holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. This New York native receives no official training in mixed martial arts. He is a longtime veteran of the Ultimate Pit Fighting promotion, but has also competed under the banners of JAG Battle League. Before suffering defeat in the JAG Battle League, Aurther went on an impressive ten fight winning streak with only two of those victories going the distance.

Aurther ran undefeated across his nine fights with the Ultimate Pit Fighting promotion, with two notable victories over title challengers Daniel Subicic and Kakashi Hatake. Upon signing with the JAG Battle League, Aurther smashed Leonardo Yoshi en route to a unanimous decision victory before suffering his lone career defeat at the hands of Reece HC at JBL TBA.

In his most recent bout, Aurther defeated Aleksy Dzikowski at JBL The Culling. Aurther has taken a lot of time off to train and improve since his last bout, it will be exciting to see what the new and improved version brings to the table.

Vip Winner is the QFC 905 Bantamweight Tournament Champion. This Finnish grappler holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He trains out of the Hardpunch gym.

Vip made his MMA debut in the QFC 905 tournament in the bantamweight division. He tore through four opponents, submitting all of them en route to taking home the championship gold. He continued his tenure with the QFC following the tournament, submitting Aage Storm with a first round rear naked choke. After being submitted by BJJ brown belt and former Olympic wrestler Carlton Lassiter, Winner signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

At UnderGround FC 15, Vip Winner faced Benadryl Cutalittle, submitting the man via thirty-five second kimura. In his most recent bout, Winner submitted Johnriel Casimero via first round armbar.

[Main Event]

NMF13qr.jpg

(Middleweight Division) Dillan Danis (5-1) versus Yewis Mybitch (9-5)

Dillan Danis is a world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt from Russia. Currently living in London, England, he is the head Jiu-Jitsu coach at the London MMA Club gym. This grappler has competed for FARTMMA, JAG Battle League, and most recently UnderGround Fight Club.

His career began at FARTMMA 8 where he submitted BJJ purple belt Jack Box with an armbar late in the opening round. He returned for FARTMMA 15, submitting BJJ brown belt Daniel Thompson with a first minute triangle choke.

After moving to London, Dillan became the head submission grappling coach at the London MMA gym. He signed with JAG Battle League, making his debut at the Cerealia event where he submitted Muay Thai stylist Santiesky Uniban. At Sacrament II, Danis faced high level striker and BJJ brown belt Paul Joseph Watson. Unable to bring the fight to the ground, Danis succumbed to the kickboxing of Watson, falling to the punches of the man in the opening round. His final fight with JAG came against 5-1 Muay Thai kickboxer Mary Read. Danis brought Read to the ground early and threatened him with submissions before forcing the tap with an armbar.

Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Danis made his UGFC debut at UnderGround Fight Club 18, taking on kickboxer Benchamek Sitsopirang. Dillon Danis was able to dominate the opening round, executing a perfect counter takedown into guard. In the second round, Sitsopirang took Danis down for some reason and was quickly submitted for his mistake.

Yewis Mybitch is a pugilistic brawler with a penchant for early knockouts. In his fourteen professional bouts, he has only gone the distance three times. Like his opponent, he cut his teeth in Russia. Unlike his affluent opponent, Yewis earned his skills on the streets where he was known for his many scuffles against other youths. Many of Yewis's pro fights took place in the QFC arena where he became an underground fan favorite for his brutal knockouts and kill or be killed mentality.

Yewis went undefeated across his first five pro fights, knocking out four men and besting one in a split decision. After being stopped by a fellow striker named Oleg Liguy, Yewis signed with the Destructive Striking Championship promotion. In his DSC debut, he faced durable grappler Lucien Lachance. The fight would take place mostly on the ground with Lachace taking home the judge's decision. Next Mybitch faced another strong grappler in Ace Ventura. The opening two rounds of the fight were a near perfect replica of the Lachance bout, but Mybitch managed to come back stronger in the third round. Too little, too late; Ventura won the unanimous decision. With three consecutive losses on his record, Yewis Mybitch parted ways with the DSC promotion.

Upon returning to the QFC arena, Yewis faced elite Iranian striker Hossein Vaziri III. The fight lasted just thirty-one seconds with Vaziri taking the victory. After this bout, Yewis was paired up with James Johnson three times and all three times he knocked Johnson out cold.

Yewis signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 14 to take on kickboxer Rory Andler. Yewis displayed improved striking defense while picking apart Rory apart from the outside before finishing him with a brutal flurry of punches in just one minute.

Most recently, Yewis faced BJJ blue belt Gomez Addams at UnderGround FC 18. In that fight, the main point of the battle was fought between Gomez wanting to clinch and Mybitch trying to stay on the outside. Midway through the second round, the fight was called off due to a cut received in the opening round, giving Gomez Addams the victory.

6-0 (4-0 UGFC)

"Hi kids! My name is DeMarcus Diallo. I fight in the UnderGround Fight Club's middleweight division. I'm here today to teach you a new word. That word is regicide. You see, regicide is when somebody kills a member of a royal family.

You might be wondering why I'm talking about regicide. Well I'll tell you: I've been offered the chance to fight a man named Prince Anawalla. They tell me he boxes better than me, that he clinches better than me, and that he even dresses better than I do. He's the FORMER champion of FARTMMA. Great. Build him up all you want. He's the prince but I'm the king and you can believe that."

Round 2 – As more blood began to form on the face of Thatcher, he shot for a late takedown to get away from the hands of Swain.

-[Bantamweight Division: Bobby Jones vs. Fedor Ziuzlikov

Round 1 – Ziuzlikov opened this fight with telegraphed takedown attempts that were largely stuffed by Jones, who was content to circle around the outside landing jabs. As Ziuzlikov came forward, Jones landed a leg kick and then clinched as the two men collided. Ziuzlikov scored a trip takedown into guard and Jones immediately went to work with a high guard before snatching up the arm of Ziuzlikov to force a submission. Bobby Jones def. Fedor Ziuzlikov via Submission (Armbar) at 2:37 of round 1.

-[Light-Heavyweight Division: Ross Glinner vs. Buster Phoenix

Round 1 – Glinner came out aggressively striking but Phoenix deftly avoided the shots and fired back with a one-two that connected. Phoenix was avoiding punches with head movement alone so Glinner went high and shot in for a takedown, landing in half guard on top. While Glinner focused on isolating the arm of his foe, Phoenix got back to full guard before reversing into half guard on top! Glinner grabbed the head of Phoenix threatening with an awkward guillotine and Phoenix passed into full mount! Phoenix slipped his head free and began working for a guillotine from the top position. The round ended with Phoenix holding that position.

Round 2 – Glinner shot for a takedown immediately to start this round. Phoenix threatened with a high guard but Glinner managed to pass into side control! Phoenix quickly regained half guard from the bottom. Glinner started to crank on a kimura but gave up his position while fighting for the finish! Phoenix rolled into top guard! Phoenix dropped back for a risky leg lock and Glinner reversed back into top guard himself! What a battle! The remainder of this round was spent with Glinner laying in guard catching his breath while Phoenix threatened with a high guard.

Round 3 – Glinner opened this round with a big right hand to the bread basket of Phoenix and followed it up with a double leg takedown into guard. After a bout of stalling, Glinner passed into half guard. Phoenix started to work the arm of Glinner for a kimura but lost his grip. Glinner responded by going for a kimura of his own. After a few minutes of inaction, Glinner tried to go for an arm triangle in half guard but couldn't quite get the position for it. Thus ends the fight. Ross Glinner def. Buster Phoenix via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 29-28, 29-28).

-[Super-Heavyweight Division: Claudio Escorre vs. Iron Jussi

Round 1 – Jussi came out wild with a big right hand that missed by a mile and Escorre countered beautifully with a left jab to his body. Jussi came forward with crisp punches that kept Escorre backing away until he was trapped against the cage. Jussi clinched him up there and cracked him with a big uppercut. Escorre took some deep breaths as Jussi went to work with more dirty boxing. It became quickly evident that Escorre had nothing for Jussi in the clinch. Two minutes in Jussi tagged him with a few big uppercuts that hurt the undefeated fighter before dropping him. Jussi poured on some followup strikes and this fight was over. Iron Jussi def. Claudio Escorre via TKO (Strikes) at 2:17 of round 1.

During his post fight interview, formerly undefeated Claudio Escorre was all class in defeat. He said,Iron Jussi was a great challenge. This fight was one of tremendous learning. I would like to thank my opponent for showing me what I should improve on. Next time I will not be the same. I will definitely be more dangerous. Thank you all!

-[Super-Heavyweight Division: Kamen Kamenov vs. Rodimus Prime

Round 1 – Kamenov shot in for an early takedown but got taken down by Prime instead. Prime began working ground and pound from full guard but mostly stalling, to the annoyance of the audience. Prime passed into half guard but seemed content to lay and pray while Kamenov struggled to get free. Frustrated, Kamenov tried to strike from the bottom which is rarely a good sign. Prime passed into full mount and continued to blanket Kamenov until the referee stood them up. Prime shot in immediately upon separation and landed in half guard again. This was quickly turning into a nightmare for both Kamenov and the fans in attendance.

Round 2 – Prime shot on the legs of Kamenov immediately, landing in guard on top. Flustered beyond words, Kamenov attempted to get to his feet and Prime passed into half guard before moving into mount. Desperate to escape, Kamenov gave up his back in the effort of trying to get to his feet. Prime teased going for the rear naked choke but simply controlled instead. As Kamenov struggled, Prime ended up on his back but still holding onto the rear choke position. Kamenov turned into his guard on top! Kamenov began dropping ground and pound to wild cheers from the audience. Kamenov escaped to his feet and the crowd was in uproar supporting him. The two fighters clinched against the cage and Prime pulled guard. Kamenov closed out this round dropping elbows.

Round 3 – Kamenov clinched early and Prime pulled guard once again. After a bit of stalling to catch his breath, Kamenov went to work with ground and pound from top guard. Sensing his opponent's fatigue, Kamenov stepped up the abuse in this round, working Prime over with ground and pound. Both men controlled the position for a bit to catch their breath until the referee stood them up. Both men were tired but Prime much more so than his opponent. Prime shot in with a half hearted takedown attempt that worked, landing in half guard, but Kamenov was able to escape to his feet this time and the crowd cheered him for it. Prime rushed forward and Kamenov cracked him with a big right hand and Prime went down hard. Kamenov jumped on him with more strikes and this fight was stopped! HUGE turnaround for Kamen Kamenov! This was the Randy Couture versus Kevin Randleman of UnderGround Fight Club. Prime was all dominance and wrestling control for the first two rounds before Kamenov got on top and Prime had no answer for him. Kamen Kamenov def. Rodimus Prime via TKO (Strikes) at 2:43 of round 3.

-[Welterweight Division: Seamus Coleman vs. Test Fighter A

Round 1 – Both men came out swinging for the fences and slipping the other's strikes early. Coleman landed a head kick that put Test Fighter on the back pedal for most of the round. Near the end of the first round, Coleman clinched and mostly used the position to catch his breath, although he did land a few uppercuts.

Round 2 – Test Fighter A came out wild and aggressive in an effort to get back in this fight and Coleman countered with a nice counter-strike before clinching again. Near the end of the round there were some nice exchanges but it was all Seamus Coleman.

Round 3 – Sensing that his opponent was beginning to tire out, Seamus Coleman picked up the pace with more punches. He dropped Fighter A with a head kick. This round was really the Seamus Coleman show as he put on a striking clinic in and out of the clinch. Seamus Coleman def. Test Fighter A via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26).

Round 3 – Desperate to win the final round, Navas came out with wild combination attempts early before clinching with Miller. Both men aggressively punched against the cage, reversing and controlling each other against the cage. Petah Miller def. Pedro Navas via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).

-[Bantamweight Division: Aurther Fleck vs. Vip Winner

-[Pre-Fight: During the weigh-ins yesterday, Fleck made big news when he came out with his face painted up. He laughed maniacally at his confused opponent as they faced off with each other. Always respectful, Winner offered to shake hands and was surprised to learn that Fleck had one of those old handshake buzzers to shock his hand on contact. Winner had to be restrained and Fleck just shook his head and laughed as he walked away without a care in the world.

That intensity carried over into tonight's pre-fight staredown. Vip Winner was talking to the man, telling him all of the things that he meant to do to him and Fleck literally looked at his wrist as if to check the time and made a dramatic gestured yawn. This only infuriated Winner more as Fleck laughed in his face. Neither man offered to touch gloves. No surprise there.

Round 1 – Vip Winner came out with quick jabs to the body of Fleck before tagging him with a right hand. Fleck shot in for a double leg takedown, landing in guard on top. Fleck postured up and began dropping elbows and Winner reversed into top guard. Fleck created a scramble and reversed to top guard himself but Vip Winner snatched his arm in the confused and forced him to submit. Vip Winner def. Aurther Fleck via Submission (Armbar) at 2:57 of round 1.

During his post-fight interview, Fleck simply laughed at his furious opponent who had to be held back from approaching him. HAHA ha HahA HAhAhAHA ha Ha HA hahaha Ha HA hA.

(To Be Announced) TBD A () versus TBA B ()

(To Be Announced) TBD C () versus TBA D ()

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Jorge Margy (1-2) versus Total Badass (6-3)

Jorge Margy is a Muay Thai striker that holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. During his brief three fight career, Jorge has displayed an eagerness to kick and grapple but little else. This Los Angeles native lives in Amsterdam where he participates in no official training, opting to learn to fight by fighting. After a successful pro debut in a regional show, Margy signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He has fought Shaka Zulu and Paul Ladentro while under the UGFC banners, but in both encounters he has been defeated.

Total Badass is the former UnderGround Fight Club Super-Heavyweight Champion of the World. This nineteen-year-old submission specialist holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

He made his pro debut in the QFC arena, submitting Alton Prince with a first round guillotine choke. Following this victory, Total signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at the Friday Night Fights event. It was there that he fought power wrestler Big John Studd, submitting him with a triangle choke after being taken down early. At Friday Night Fights II, Badass returned to face BJJ purple belt Rodimus Prime. Badass would go on to lose the bout via unanimous decision as the wrestling ability of Prime would prove to be enough to keep him in control of the fight. Badass returned at Friday Night Fights III to submit Roman Strange with an arm triangle choke in just twenty-three seconds.

At UnderGround FC 1, Total Badass faced BJJ purple belt Torq Bosley for the inaugural super-heavyweight championship title. After being taken down early, Badass would go tit-for-tat with Bosley, trading submission attempts before catching the man in a guillotine choke to close the show and earn himself the title. Unfortunately his title reign would come to an abrupt halt as he would lose to Colin Kaepernick at UnderGround FC 2.

Since losing his championship title, Badass has sat in limbo as a perennial gatekeeper that defeats those not ready to advance into the big leagues. He has defeated Jaylen Sparling and Ze Serra while losing a bout against Juan Pablo.

(Welterweight Division) Jeremiah Hornady (3-1) versus Patrick MacDonald (2-2)

Jeremiah Hornady is a Muay Thai stylist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt. All four of his professional bouts have taken place in the local shows. Although he was defeated in his pro debut, he has put together three consecutive wins after, including stoppages over Andy Miranda and Jerry Farrell. In his most recent bout, he bested fellow blue belt Anderson Mcclain in a unanimous decision victory.

Patrick MacDonald is a boxer with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After submitting Zero Mitsumune in the QFC, Patrick signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 3 where he was submitted by BJJ brown belt Owen Murray. He returned at UFC MFN 2 to stop Glenn Murray via first round TKO. In his most recent bout, Patrick was submitted by brown belt Mike Tantalau.

(Lightweight Division) Bryan Thompson (3-0) versus Andrew Balderas (2-0)

Bryan Thompson is a former pro kickboxer and undefeated mixed martial arts fighter. All three of his pro MMA bouts have taken place in the QFC arena where he has scored three brutal knockout victories.

Andrew Balderas is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner with a purple belt. He is also an undefeated two fight veteran of the MMA cage with both fights taking place in the QFC. In both of his appearances he has scored first round submission victories.

[Main Card]

(Middleweight Division) Bagel Boss (4-1) versus Walter Jackson (3-1)

Despite looking like a lovechild between Butter Bean and a melted snow cone, Bagel Boss is a world class mixed martial arts fighter. Specializing in Muay Thai, Bagel has fought five times in professional MMA. Originally from Long Island, New York, Bagel currently lives in Los Angeles, California, where he trains out of the hilariously named Team Alpha Midget private gym alongside UGFC bantamweight champion Tree Fortay as well as two JAG Battle League title holders.

After a successful pro debut in the QFC, Bagel signed with Rapid Fighting Championship of Sydney, Australia. In his RFC debut, Bagel bested fellow striker Roc Le Phat in a unanimous decision. Bagel returned at Rapid Fight Night 4 to stop former title challenger Jet Chan in nine seconds flat with strikes. At Rapid Fight Night 8, Bagel rematched Roc Le Phat, this time succumbing to a second round knockout from his previously defeated foe. In his final RFC match, Bagel Boss defeated Orla Wanker via submission to strikes. Bagel parted ways with his management team, then changed management teams once again after that before settling with his current team.

Walter Jackson started his career training to become a professional boxer. However after sparring with “MMA guys” in his gym, he was drawn in by the allure ultimate fighting. Since then he has become a great wrestler and earned a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, he presently lives in New York where he trains out of the private Crassus gym.

He started his MMA career in the Wolf Pack Fighting Championship promotion, fighting first at the WPFC 2 event. There he fought Tomos Kemp, hurting him in the second round en route to defeating him in a unanimous decision. At WPFC 5, Jackson faced Nick Tropper, hurting him with punches in each round before winning a unanimous decision.

After the Tropper fight, Walter Jackson signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 6 where he faced Van Der Ley. Unlike his previous opponents, Van Der Ley was unable to survive the ferocity of Jackson's attack, succumbing to a first round knockout. At UnderGround FC 16, Jackson was submitted by by future champion Giuseppe Turturro.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Vincenzo Lambrucci (3-3) versus Artyom Dzyuba (4-0)

Vincenzo Lambrucci is an Italian kickboxer that currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he trains out of the 3Band MMA.

Vincenzo started his MMA career as a participant in Season 9 of The Island where he fought three times in the QFC arena. After being submitted by Ludwig Stromm and Too Eazy, he avenged his debut loss by knocking Stromm out in nineteen seconds.

Vincenzo participated in the end of season tournament, besting Pugsley Addams in a unanimous decision. However in the second round of the tournament, Vincenzo was submitted by Anton Shibaev. Back on the mainland, Vincenzo Lambrucci signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

At UnderGround FC 9, Vincenzo faced fellow striker Alexander Emelianenko. Vincenzo hurt Alexander badly in the first and second rounds before the first was stopped due to the very many cuts sustained on Alexander's face.

Artyom Dzyuba is a folkstyle wrestler from Zelenograd, Russia that currently lives in St Petersburg where he trains out of the Russian Bears Training Center. Undefeated across four professional fights, Artyom has fought exclusively in the QFC arena.

Artyom made his MMA debut against BJJ blue belt and five fight veteran Mikel Charles. Dzyuba took Mikel down immediately and finished him with heavy ground and pound. Artyom returned to face submission grappler Bertram Taylor, knocking him out with brutal ground and pound from guard. After running through heavy handed brawler Dom Duck, Artyom destroyed Muay Thai striker Tyrell Harper.

(Lightweight Division) Akaro Horiguchi (3-1) versus Rodger Bell (4-2)

Long before he donned 4 ounce gloves and accepted money to fight half naked men in a cage, Akaro Horiguchi was born in Kanizawa, Japan where he underwent training in Shotokan Karate. Akaro had a lot of pressure put on him as a young child due to the calls of him being a prodigy martial artist. Unfortunately the fame would lead him down a darker path as he would meet up with unsavory characters that would lead him down a path of criminal acts, run-ins with the law, and inevitably a stint in prison. Due to the disgrace this brought his family, Akaro distanced himself from his family. Shamed and alone, Akaro sent himself into exile, relocating to Sydney, Australia to begin anew.

Although he hadn't officially trained in years (besides kicking a heavy bag in his garage), he was still a karateka at heart. While in the audience of a local karate tournament he met the men that would become his manager later in life. At the time he was simply a fellow fan with a history of martial arts training. Upon being invited to participate in Kyokushin training, it was soon realized just how adept Horiguchi was at the art. He was offered the opportunity to begin training full time and challenge himself in the young sport of MMA, to change his destiny and find a new path for his life. He hesitantly accepted and began full time training as a mixed martial artist.

He took his first fight in a regional QFC bout, mostly to see if he had what it took to fight as a professional. For the first time in ten years he prepared to face off against another man in unarmed combat. His opponent was fellow striker Kostas Pappas. The bulk of the fight took place in the clinch but Horiguchi was accustomed to fighting dirty. He hammered Pappas with short range punches and made him pay for every moment that the fight lasted. Midway through the third round, Pappas went down from an uppercut and Horiguchi went in for the finish. In his second appearance in the local shows, Horiguchi came out too fast and too confident against Conor King, being felled by an early combination that kept him on queer street for the remainder of the fight. Horiguchi showed his heart, surviving being badly hurt multiple times before the fight was called off late in the second round by the referee. Horiguchi rebounded with a second round TKO over heavy handed brawler Utu Mutu, stopping him with strikes in the second round.

Most recently, Akaro Horiguchi signed a one fight deal with the Batoru Fighting Championship promotion, where he was paired up with Muay Thai standout Douglas Dannis. The two strikers would trade heavy kicks from the outside, feeling each other out before Horiguchi caught him with a right hand that hurt him. Horiguchi clinched and finished the fight with big punches against the cage.

Now he is fighting for the most prestigious promotion in Amsterdam. He fights for the Horiguchi name.

Rodger Bell is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner with a purple belt in the art. Originally from Bristol, England, Rodger has since moved to Amsterdam to be closer to his work. He trains full time out of the UnderGround Training Facility. This six fight veteran has spent the majority of his professional career in the UnderGround Fight Club promotion with four of his six bouts taking place there.

Rodger made his MMA debut in the QFC arena where he faced off against BJJ blue belt Quinton Hurley. Bell brought the fight to Hurley immediately, taking him down early and working him over with ground and pound while threatening with submissions en route to a decision victory. Next he faced BJJ blue belt Dannie Robles, jumping guard but falling victim to a guillotine choke in the second round.

Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Rodger made his promotional debut at the Monday Night Fights event where he faced wrestler Shamil Magomedov. Bell managed to dominate the fight in the clinch and on the ground en route to a very one-sided decision victory. At UnderGround FC 3, Bell would face undefeated boxing stylist Adrian Hunter, falling victim to a big series of punches early that put him out of the fight.

Since then, Bell has gone undefeated across two fights. At UFC WNF 3 he bested fellow purple belt Jay Popotrek and at UnderGround FC 16 he decision'd Joe Mama.

[Co-Main Event]

(Featherweight Division) Kyle Kristian Galeos (7-1) versus Hans Richter (4-2)

Kyle Kristian Galeos is a former professional boxer and eight fight veteran mixed martial artist. Originally from the City of Naga in the Philippines, Kyle currently lives in Montreal, Canada, where he trains out of The King's Road gym.

Kyle made the transition to mixed martial arts with the intention of just taking one or two small fights before returning to pro boxing. However after stopping BJJ bl ue belt Ragang Ebon midway through the opening round with punches, Kyle was obsessed. He returned to the local show to face Ken Specht who would go down from one big punch early in the fight and call for an immediate rematch, going so far as to harass Kyle on Facebook for the bout. Kyle obliged him happily and knocked him out in just fifty seconds this time. After facing undefeated pro kickboxer Berklerk Pinsinchai twice and stopping him in both encounters, Kyle signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

At UFC SNF 2, Kyle faced submission wrestler Ky Tycoon. After hurting Tycoon badly with punches twice in the opening round and surviving half a round of ground fighting against him in the second, Kyle would go on to be the only man to defeat Ky Tycoon.

Kyle Kristian Galeos returned at UnderGround FC 11 to challenge reigning featherweight champion Reginald Budgiehandler for the crown. The two strikers would trade heavy punches in the early goings with Budgiehandler badly hurting Galeos with a big left hand in the opening round. The second round would take place entirely in the clinch, with Budgiehandler landing the better shots and stopping Galeos late in the round.

Kyle returned for UnderGround FC 19 to face undefeated wrestling standout Ian Joy Virtudazo. Galeos dropped Virtudazo with big punches, dropping him in the opening seconds of the fight and once more late in the first round. Midway through the second round, Kyle hurt Ian with a big combination, finishing him with further punches late in the round.

Hans Richter is a world class striker with a background in boxing and Muay Thai, in addition to having fantastic ground defenses. Originally from Badenberg, Germany, Hans lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA where he trains out of the private Doom's Gym.

Hans made his pro MMA debut in the PhoQus Sports Enterprise promotion, first appearing at PSE 25. His debut opponent was a wrestler named Hallo Ween. Richter kept the fight up close, clinching and keeping Ween against the cage. After hurting Ween early, Richter finished him with power punches late in the second round. Richter returned at PSE 28 to face boxer Jamal Lyttle. Richter dominated Lyttle in the clinch before finishing him near the end of the second round, almost at the same time as his debut performance.

At PSE 33, Hans Richter challenged future UnderGround FC bantamweight champion Tree Fortay. This fight would ultimately become the lone defeat in Richter's PhoQus career. Hans made his last PhoQus appearance at PSE 39 where he faced well rounded striker Simba Moso. Richter dominated Moso at a distance and in the clinch while surviving the man's ground assault en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Next Hans signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 10 against heavy handed boxer Anthony Jackson. Richter displayed some new wrinkles in his game, implementing a little wrestling into his strategy to keep Jackson off balance en route to a decision victory.

In his most recent bout, Hans Richter faced undefeated five fight veteran and heavy handed striker Joe Smith. Richter knew this was a major step up in competition as Smith had stopped every opponent he had faced before with only one man escaping the opening round. Although Richter wouldn't win the fight, he would get a lot of credit for being the first man to go the distance with Smith while sharing a couple of very close rounds against the seemingly unstoppable force.

[Main Event]

(Featherweight Division) Sylvian Lievremont (4-1) versus Joe Smith (6-0)

Sylvian Lievremont is a former participant from season 9 of The Island where all five of his professional fights took place. In addition he has competed in the TWGC submission grappling league. He has had two managers across his brief career.

Sylvian made his MMA debut in the regional QFC arena on The Island during its 9th season. His opponent was a striker named Kick Boxing. After eating a right hand early, Lievremont wasted no time in bringing Boxing to the ground where he quickly put his brown belt to use, submitting Boxing via first round armbar.

Sylvian Lievremont signed with the Island Vale Tudo promotion, making his debut at IVT 2 against high level boxer Sparring Dummy. Following the same script as his debut, Lievremont took Dummy down and submitted him with an armbar immediately. In his final regular MMA fight during his stint on The Island, Lievremont submitted striker Frank McMillian, making it three straight armbar victories.

Sylvian stepped away from pro-MMA for a bit, competing in the IVT Test event which was all submission grappling. There he submitted wrestler Bob Goblin via first round triangle choke.

Lievremont competed in the season finale tournament, submitting fellow brown belt Frankie Khan in round 1 of the tourney. In round 2 of the tournament, Lievremont was submitted by fellow brown belt Royler Gracie. Following his time on The Island, Lievremont parted ways with his management team.

Under new management, Sylvian participated in the TWGC 25 Rio de Janeiro welterweight grappling tournament. In round 1 of the tournament, Lievremont was submitted by former Revolution Island featherweight champion and season 6 participant Harry Baals.

Joe Smith is an undefeated mixed martial artist with six professional fights to his credit. This pugilistic punisher is known for having otherworldly knockout power with all but two of his six opponents falling in the opening round and only one surviving to the final bell. Joe Smith is a product of longtime fight manager Kelly McGrady and represents the McGrady FT fighting system.

Average” Joe Smith has proven to be anything but. At twenty years old he is currently ranked #15 out of the 200+ fighters under contract with the UnderGround Fight Club. The real travesty of his life is that he is under the same management as his weight division's reigning champion, Reginald Budgiehandler, who he trains with every day. Joe Smith is young, exciting, and dangerous.

Joe grew up as the youngest of three boys. While his brothers excelled at everything they did, Joe had to struggle to accomplish what he could. It left him with a pervasive sense of inadequacy throughout his childhood. However that all changed when he stepped into the gym and discovered his passion for martial arts. His brothers, good men that they are, are not warriors. Weighing in at a lean one hundred and fifty pounds, Joe is by far the smallest man in the family but there is no question about his toughness.

Five days before his nineteenth birthday, “Average” Joe signed up for his first professional MMA bout against a Jiu-Jitsu wizard named Alexmuri Bagueraiu who was undefeated across two fights. Joe's brothers attended the event and fed him a bunch of “motivational” lines such as “don't lose!” “don't get choked out!” while laughing and nudging each other. Joe stuffed all of Alexmuri's takedown attempts, hurting him with heavy punches throughout the ordeal for as long as it lasted. It was not long before he was knocking the man out cold with a barrage of blows against the cage akin to Bigfoot Silva's destruction of Alistair Overeem. Joe's brothers stopped bullying him that day.

Smith returned to the Hawaiian based promotion to score a lightning fast knockout over BJJ brown belt Mander Dell Palmer before signing with UnderGround Fight Club. At UFC WNF 1, Smith made easy work out of undefeated John Hogan, hurting him with heavy punches in the opening round before finishing him in the third. At UFC WNF 2, Smith faced 2-0 wrestler John Michael Benitoy. After surviving an early takedown from Benitoy, Smith hammered him with punches late in the opening round to stop the fight.

When Joe Smith knocked out former title challenger and hot prospect Jay Brown, people began to take notice. Smith was no longer just a guy knocking out undercard prospects, he had moved up into main event status overnight.

In his most recent bout, Joe Smith faced elite striker Hans Richter. Always the gentleman before fights, Smith reached out to Richter on social media when the fight was proposed, calling for the two men to throw down for the fans. The fight would live up to the hype and then some with Hans Richter being the first man to ALMOST win rounds against Smith. The two traded power punches for three straight rounds with neither man faltering or back pedaling. The bout became an instant classic fan favorite. This was the one fight in Smith's career that went the distance and he walked away with his head held high knowing that he had defeated a legitimate world class striker at his own game.

Oganeditse Gaolathe: Eyyy, what is this? Just stumbled on to the list of all competitors with 3+ consecutive wins in this org and I didnt see my name there! Kombombuizc, Petiot and Noble sounds like three for me.

I'll be dipped in a bologna pudding. You probably slipped through one of the events I wasn't able to review and I haven't reviewed one of your fights since you hit 3 in a row.

[undercard]

-[Super-Heavyweight Division: Solum Bumba vs. Nirav Masuki

Round 1 – Bumba found a home for his leg kicks early. Masuki rushed forward and clinched before pulling guard. After a few minutes of working the high guard, Bumba opted to get back to his feet which Bumba was more than happy to let him do. However Masuki quickly clinched and pulled guard again, this time threatening with a guillotine choke to close out the round.

Round 2 – Masuki shot on the legs of Bumba early in this round. After taking Bumba's back, Masuki spent the remainder of the round working for a rear choke that never came.

Round 3 – Masuki ate a leg kick, clinched, and took Bumba down again. Although he teased a kimura late in the round, the most Masuki did was out wrestle his foe in this round. After advancing to mount, Masuki dropped a couple of elbows but they were really just to put a final statement on the fight. Nirav Masuki def. Solum Bumba via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

-[Super-Heavyweight Division: Jorge Margy vs. Total Badass

Round 1 – Margy clinched early and took the BJJ brown belt to the ground because apparently good gameplans don't grow on trees. Margy started in side control and passed to mount. As Margy began dropping ground and pound, the wily former champion reversed into top guard! Badass tried to advance into half guard and Margy swept back to the top, landing in the former champion's guard. Margy put his BJJ blue belt to use, surviving a triangle choke attempt to pass into side control on top. Badass defended a little ground and pound from Margy and reversed back into half guard on top! Badass threatened with an arm triangle choke before climbing back to his feet. Badass shot in on the legs of Margy but had his attempt stuffed. Margy clinched and lifted up Badass for a suplex takedown! Jorge Margy finishes the round on top controlling Badass from back control.

Round 2 – Margy clinched and pulled guard to start off this second round. Badass passed into side control before going for an arm triangle choke! Margy defended well so Badass transitioned to an armbar but Margy rolled into top guard! Badass went for a triangle choke but Margy defended it well. Badass kept working that high guard, suddenly locking in an armbar out of nowhere! Margy was forced to tap out! I have to say that Margy did much better on the ground than I expected upon starting this review. Total Badass def. Jorge Margy via Submission (Armbar) at 1:41 of round 2.

-[Welterweight Division: Jeremiah Hornady vs. Patrick MacDonald

Round 1 – Both fighters started this fight tossing out flicking jabs. Hornady attempted a wild combination that Hornady deftly avoided. When Hornady rushed forward again, MacDonald tagged him with a right hand before circling away. MacDonald landed a jab and suddenly Hornady wanted to clinch instead. MacDonald broke the clinch and tagged Hornady with a big uppercut. MacDonald scored a takedown into Hornady's guard. MacDonald passed into hafl guard and stalled out the remainder of the round. He worked to isolate the left arm of Hornady but really only used it to pass into side control.

Round 2 – Unwilling to endure more punishment from the outside, Hornady rushed MacDonald and tied him up against the cage. Hornady began desperately trying to take MacDonald to the ground, jumping guard and falling to his backside. MacDonald simply smiled and walked back to the center of the cage. MacDonald started to find a home for his punches, hitting Hornady at will from the outside. Hornady rushed forward with a desperate combination and ate a head kick that dropped him! Badly hurt, Hornady scrambled to his feet and shot on the legs of MacDonald. MacDonald countered with an uppercut that put Hornady in a bad way! MacDonald poured on more punches, chasing him across the cage before finishing with a left, right, cross combination! Patrick MacDonald def. Jeremiah Hornady via KO (Strikes) at 0:55 of round 2.

-[Lightweight Division: Bryan Thompson vs. Andrew Balderas

Round 1 – Balderas came out reckless with a jab and ate a big combination that staggered him. Thompson pushed forward with a one-two combination followed by another punch to the midsection! Thompson pushed forward with more punches and Balderas swung wildly trying to keep the man at bay. Again and again Thompson landed punches to his hapless foe while making the man miss so that he could counter! Near the end of the round, Balderas finally seemed to find his range. He tagged Thompson with a big right hand that brought him back into the fight and suddenly it was Thompson backing away while Balderas landed punches. This round came to a close with both men landing hard punches right on the button.

Round 2 – The two men opened this round with jabs. Thompson's volume increased in this round as he pushed forward with more punches and suddenly Balderas stopped punching again. By the end of the round Thompson was doing the punching and Balderas was doing the “getting punched”.

Round 3 – Both men came out aggressive in this round. Balderas had a wild fervor as he tried to get back into this fight. Thompson was putting on a striking clinic in this round, hitting without getting hit back. Near the end of the fight, Balderas came forward more aggressive but it was too little too late for him. What a promotional debut from Thompson. Bryan Thompson def. Andrew Balderas via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

-[Middleweight Division: Bagel Boss vs. Walter Jackson

Round 1 – Jackson came out and clinched early and both fighters began to trade punches in the center of the cage, neither willing to back away. After a few big punches from Jackson, Boss broke the clinch. Jackson went on the offensive, pushing forward with punches. Boss swung wild with a haymaker that missed by a mile and Jackson made him pay with more punches. Jackson clinched again and hammered Boss with punches against the cage. Boss managed to break the clinch for the second time and punished Jackson with a low kick. Near the end of the round, Boss began pushing forward with punches and low kicks, backing Jackson off and keeping him at bay.

Round 2 – Boss landed a hard calf kick and avoided the counter from Jackson. Both men were landing shots one minute into the round. Near the end of the round, Boss began to slow down a bit and Jackson took over with crisp punches. Jackson clinched and worked Boss over with dirty boxing to finish out the round.

Round 3 – Boss came out aggressive in this round, throwing punches wildly. He knew he had to finish in this round to win the fight. Jackson landed a few pot shots from the outside before clinching with Boss, pushing him a gainst the cage. After nearly two minutes of fighting against the cage, Boss broke free. Jackson pushed him right back against the cage and the two traded hard uppercuts. Boss landed a big shot to the ribs of Jackson that made him wince and then broke free. Boss was on the offensive then, sensing that he had Jackson hurt and winded. Boss landed a right hand that hurt Jackson! Jackson responded with a right hand of his own. Both men were absolutely swinging in the last thirty seconds to the delight of the crowd. Boss landed a big right hand one second before the final buzzer sounded and Jackson went down hard! Walter Jackson def. Bagel Boss via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

-[Light-Heavyweight Division: Vincenzo Lambrucci vs. Artyom Dzyuba

Round 1 – Dzyuba opened with flopped body shot attempt, then shot in for the legs of Lambrucci. Lambrucci caught him at the door with a one-two combination that rocked him badly! Dzyuba rushed forward for another takedown attempt and again Lambrucci cracked him with a big right hand that staggered Dzyuba. Lambrucci smelled blood and poured on more punches until Dzyuba sagged to the floor and the referee stopped the fight! Vincenzo Lambrucci def. Artyom Dzyuba via TKO (Strikes) at 0:26 of round 1.

-[Lightweight Division: Akaro Horiguchi vs. Rodger Bell

-[Pre-Fight: During the pre-fight buildup to this event, there was a little good natured trash talk between Bell and Horiguchi. The staredown between the two men during the weigh-ins was fairly uneventful but in the cage when they faced off they were both fairly intense, staring into each other's eyes. They touched gloves when prompted and Bell gave Horiguchi a stiff nod before moving back to his corner.

Round 1 – Bell opens with a wild combination that missed by a mile. Horiguchi clinched and began hammering Bell with short range punches against the cage. Horiguchi broke the clinch and circled away. The two fighters sized each other up and Horiguchi cracked him with a stiff leg kick. After Horiguchi landed another leg kick on the same spot, Bell switched stances to protect his battered leg but this just opened him up to a slapping body kick. Bell fired back with a jab to the body of the chiseled Horiguchi. Bell rushed forward with a wild combination and Horiguchi circled away. Horiguchi tagged Bell with a right hand and then clinched again. Horiguchi began throwing uppercuts! Right hook to the body, right uppercut a la Mike Tyson from Horiguchi. Bell took a big deep breath and ate two more punches that buckled his legs temporarily! Horiguchi poured on more punches! Uppercut, uppercut, uppercut! Bell went down and Horiguchi swarmed him with punches until the referee waved off the fight! Akaro Horiguchi def. Rodger Bell via TKO (Strikes) at 1:49 of round 1.

Kx6ol47.jpg

-[Post-Fight: After he was done celebrating with his team, Akaro Horiguchi knelt with Bell to check on him. After a brief bit of talking, he tapped his gloved fist against Bell's hand and went back to celebrating with his corner. In the audience, Liberal Stomper was seen clapping and nodding his head but showed know emotion on his face.

[Co-Main Event]

-[Featherweight Division: Kyle Kristian Galeos vs. Hans Richter

Round 1 – Richter opened with a head kick attempt against the perennial featherweight contender. Richter clinched but then thought better of it. Richter chased Galeos around the cage with wild striking attempts and Galeos responded by circling and jabbing, circling and jabbing. Richter clinched, pulled guard, threatened with a high guard and then escaped back to his feet. What a compelling game plan (not). Richter spent the rest of the round chasing Galeos around the ring and eating jabs.

Round 2 – Richter began performing a stunt that I despise called “clinch and break clinch” in this round. He did it four times. Near the end of the round, Galeos went on the offensive with punches and ate some in return for his troubles. Richter was landing the harder blows in these exchanges.

Round 3 – Galeos went on the offensive in a big way in this round, rushing forward with wild striking attempts and eating hard counters from Richter. Richter clinched, landed a few shots, and then broke the clinch. Oh Jesus, here we go again. Richter picked up the pace and put Galeos on the retreat as he pursued him with punches. Near the end of the round, Richgter clinched, pulled guard, and threatened with submissions before standing back up. Hans Richter def. Kyle Kristian Galeos via Unanimous Decision (30-28, 30-28, 29-28).

[Main Event]

-[Featherweight Division: Sylvain Lievremont vs. Joe Smith

-[Pre-Fight: Neither man really displayed much interest in bad mouthing the other, leaving the chatter to the men in the co-main event. When asked what they thought of each other, both complimented the other's finishing ability. The weigh-ins were as casual as could be with both men smiling during the face off and shaking hands.

Round 1 – Smith came out aggressive with a few shots that missed early. Lievremont scored a counter takedown into guard but Smith escaped back to his feet immediately. Smith rushed forward with a wild combination and Lievremont shot under his punches, landing in guard on top. Lievremont passed into side control and began trying to isolate the arm of Smith. After threatening with an arm triangle, Lievremont went back to the far side arm and locked in a tight kimura, forcing the tap! Sylvain Lievremont def. Joe Smith via Submission (Kimura) at 2:57 of round 1.

LZGgXMv.jpg

-[Post-Fight: Reginald Budgiehandler was in the ring comforting his fallen teammate when Lievremont walked by saying something inaudible to the camera. It's not clear what Reginald said back to him but he gestured to the man aggressively while saying it. Smith was all class in defeat, shaking hands with Lievremont and giving the man a genuine smile before departing.

[undercard]

(Heavyweight Division) Joao Cajo Branca (4-1) versus Tyson Mohammed (5-0)

Joao Cajo Branca is an Olympic caliber wrestler and five fight veteran mixed martial artist. Although he is a dominant grappler, he has adapted a fantastic kickboxing base that he relies on in recent fights. All but one if his pro fights took place in the Skrap House MMA promotion, where he put together four consecutive wins including a big victory over Future IFA light-heavyweight champion Manny Johnson. His most recent bout came at the FARTMMA event titled F50: FARTMMA vs Underground where he faced 2-0 BJJ brown belt Cedric Simard.

Tyson Mohammed is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter that specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, holding a purple belt in the art. All five of his professional bouts took place in the regional QFC arena where he put together three submission victories and two stoppage victories due to his ground and pound. When reached for information about his background, Tyson was more than willing to tell us a tale about his time growing up raised by dogs in a dog park. Prize fighting really does attract the lowest common denominator of personalities.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Daniel O Reilly (0-1) versus Jonny Sins (2-1)

Daniel O Reilly is an English pugilist that holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In his lone MMA bout, Daniel faced wrestler Ragnar Ragnarsson in the QFC arena in a bout that took place entirely in the clinch. Daniel showed his vulnerability in this position, eventually going down due to strikes against the cage.

Jonny Sins is a submission wrestler from Pittsburgh that currently lives in Amsterdam where he trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility. When he first turned pro, Jonny fought twice in the QFC arena besting Archibald Lee and stopping Lino Dodson with heavy ground and pound. In his most recent bout, which took place at UnderGround FC 15, he was submitted by catch wrestler Jupiter Sakuraba.

(Bantamweight Division) Kalvin Harper (3-2) versus Daiyan Jr Jesus Valdes (3-3)

Kalvin Harper is a young collegiate wrestler from New York that transplanted to London to chase his dream of being a mixed martial artist. A student of Pablo's Boxing Academy, Kalvin has fought five times as a pro. After defeating a fighter named Crack Addict twice in the QFC arena, he signed with UnderGround Fight Club. At UFC THF 1, Kalvin was submitted by Tree Fortay for the inaugural bantamweight championship. After falling victim to Gold Man at UnderGround FC 9, Kalvin rebounded with a decision victory over Mark Callus at UnderGround FC 21.

Daiyan Jr Jesus Valdes is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and six fight veteran of the MMA cage. Daiyan represents the private Ferocious Beast gym of Hilo, Hawaii, although he is originally from Cuba. Daiyan fought three times in the QFC arena, submitting Johnnie Tanner and Jason Hamilton before dropping a judge's decision to Patrick Quinson. After signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Daiyan was stopped by Joe Tromundo at UFC WNF 3. At UnderGround FC 12, Daiyan decision'd Mark Callus. In his most recent bout, Daiyan was stopped by Frankie Busul at UnderGround FC 21.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Andrew Jones (7-6) versus Dexter Morgan (1-0)

Andrew Jones is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and thirteen fight veteran of the sport of mixed martial arts. Inspired to train by watching old Pride Fighting Championships tapes, Andrew credits Kazushi Sakurab and Takanori Gomi was his fighting motivation. After a childhood spent training and watching, Andrew was drawn to active competition as soon as he was old enough to participate. As any serial killer will tell you, practicing will only satiate your cravings for so long before you have to try out the real thing. This Japanese resident has spent his entire lengthy career fighting in the regional shows of Tokyo's QFC arena. Not one of Andrew's thirteen fights has gone beyond the second round.

Dexter Morgan is a Russian Muay Thai stylist that currently lives in Helsinki where he trains out of the private Teneleven gym. His lone MMA bout came at UnderGround FC 15 where he faced boxer Frank Rothco. The opening round took place at a kickboxer's range, where Rothco was able to dominate from the outside. In the second and third rounds, Morgan was able to clinch and take control of the fight, ultimately walking away with a unanimous decision.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Don Vigo (2-3) versus Huwan Bagwis (3-1)

Don Vigo is a young boxer-turned-mixed martial arts fighter. Originally from San Francisco, Don has relocated to Helsinki where he trains out of the Blanc Fitness Academy. After an unsuccessful QFC debut, Don signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his debut at Monday Night Fights. In his promotional debut he faced Greco Roman wrestler Over Power. Don struggled to handle Over in the clinch, ultimately falling to a second round TKO. Don rebounded with a submission victory over Vladimir Ivanov. Unfortunately in his next fight he was submitted by BJJ purple belt Lee Brown.

In his most recent bout, Don Vigo faced another purple belt named Jay Bonez. After a quick takedown in the opening round, it was Vigo threatening with submissions off of his back. In the second round, with his opponent slightly more hesitant to engage, Vigo pushed forward with punches. After rocking Bonez with a left hook he finished the fight with a Superman Punch to close the show.

Huwan Bagwis is a world class Filipino kickboxer that lives in Amsterdam to train out of the UnderGround Boxing Facility. All four of his professional fights have taken place in the UGFC cage. He made his pro debut at Friday Night Fights IV where he bested Lee Brown via unanimous decision. After knocking out Philo Beddo Li he was paired up with world class Jiu-Jitsu black belt Spanky Loco. The fight went just about as well as any Spanky Loco fight goes for the man's opponents: Loco took him down and submitted him like it was no big deal.

Huwan's most recent bout came against BJJ brown belt Buster Phoenix. Unlike Loco, who had the wrestling to put Bagwis on the ground and keep him there, Phoenix struggled to close the distance and paid for it with his consciousness in the second round.

Petah Miller is a Muay Thai kickboxer from Montreal, Canada, that currently lives in Los Angeles, California, USA. He will be representing the private Know-How Knights gym in this fight.

Next he signed with the Ultimate Pit Fighting promotion of New York where he stopped Flit Ashter and Ronaldo Do Nascimento. At UPF 8 he would be submitted by Gabriel Torres via second round triangle choke. After the Torres bout, Miller signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

Spurgu Nator is a newcomer to the UGFC cage. This Finnish boxer is a lifelong resident of Helsinki where he trains out of the Hardpunch gym. All three of his professional bouts have taken place in the QFC arena where he knocked out Detektyw Pikachu and Danny Corleone before being submitted by Royce Gracie.

He made his fighting debut at UnderGround FC 1, submitting Greco stylist Over Power with a first round kimura. Next he faced world class striker and BJJ brown belt Huwan Bagwis. Despite one judge giving the opening round to Brown, he would ultimately lose the unanimous decision to Bagwis. Brown returned to score quick submission victories against Frank Rothco and Don Vigo at consecutive “Monday Night Fights” events.

In his most recent bout, which came at UnderGround FC 16, he was knocked out by Sammy Beach. After changing management teams he is back and looking to restart his career.

Derrick Lewis is a high level boxing stylist and BJJ purple belt. This London based striker trains out of the London MMA Club alongside Rapid Fighting Championship lightweight champion Litill Bjornsson.

He made his debut in the QFC arena, knocking out Tokkie Terblance in the opening round. UnderGround FC quickly signed him to an exclusive contract and booked him to fight at UFC FNF 1. There he was paired up with fellow boxer Frank Ricochet. Lewis showcased the new wrinkles to his game by taking Ricochet to the ground and submitting him in the opening round. At UFC FNF 2 he would be knocked out by high level striker Vincent Lomax.

In his most recent bout, Derrick rebounded by knocking Wres Pro out cold at UnderGround FC 17.

(Heavyweight Division) Fedor Mazepin (7-3) versus Rio Silva (4-1)

Fedor Mazepin is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and ten fight veteran mixed martial artist. This Russian fighter trains out of The Coffee Shop gym in Amsterdam which raises questions why he doesn't permanently move there.

Fedor began his career with four consecutive victories in the QFC arena, including a knockout over Efren Bird and submissions over Chang Cobb, Christov Yanovich, and Larry Homes. In his final QFC match he went the distance against undefeated BJJ purple belt Damian Dyatlov. After three hard rounds, Mazepin would lose the judge's decision and with it his undefeated status.

Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, he faced Syd The Scorpion at UnderGround FC 1. After being taken down early, he caught The Scorpion in a triangle choke to win his debut. At UnderGround FC 2, Mazepin challenged new heavyweight champion Fray Tormenta for his title, ultimately losing via armbar in the opening round. Fedor came back to submit Runny Hitter and Jolly Rodger. Most recently he was stopped by Oskar Schmidt at UnderGround FC 18.

Rio Silva is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currently living in Amsterdam, he trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility.

Rio started out in the local Brazilian QFC arena, stopping August Nash with heavy ground and pound midway through the opening round. Next he submitted BJJ blue belt Royce Franks. In his final QFC bout he knocked out BJJ blue belt Abdul Vance in just five seconds with heavy punches.

Rio made his UGFC debut at UnderGround FC 13, knocking out Lu Bu with crisp punching combinations in just twelve seconds. Most recently, Rio challenged Fray Tormenta for the heavyweight championship at UnderGround FC 19. Midway through the opening round, Tormenta pulled guard and submitted Silva via triangle choke.

Mike Tantalau is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from Tuaran, Singapore that currently lives in Sydney, Australia, where he trains out of the CrossFit Sydney gym.

After a successful pro debut in which he submitted Peter Scott with a first round armbar, he signed with UnderGround Fight Club. At the Monday Night Fights event, Tantalau faced future champion Sivile Gonya, losing the first via first round TKO. Tantalau rebounded by submitting Hitori Hanzo and Magomed Abbasov but would again face defeat, this time at the hands of Xyryx Ignacio.

His most recent bout came at UnderGround FC 16 where he submitted Patrick MacDonald.

Cross A Zoo is an Indian kickboxer living in Los Angeles, California, USA, where he trains out of the private Temple of Illumination gym.

Cross began his career with four appearances in the QFC arena. After being submitted by Mike Ambrose in his debut but quickly rebounded with stoppage victories over Titus Branch and Frito Lei. Although he would be submitted by Jules Winnfield, he quickly inked a deal with UnderGround Fight Club.

[Main Event]

In his JAG debut he rematched Sean Fitsgerald ,submitting the man via first round rear naked choke. In his second and final appearance in the promotion, Robert defeated Diego Barrera via first round kimura. Upon signing with Island Vale Tudo, Jimbo put together wins over Fausto Chiantone and Tony Bony before dropping a bout versus Jon Paul Carp. In the season finale tournament, he faced Mario Gallo but was defeated by Apolinario Mabini. Back on the main land, he knocked out Denis Kurlaev in the QFC before signing with UnderGround Fight Club.

[undercard]

-[Heavyweight Division: Joao Cajo Branca vs. Tyson Mohammed

Round 1 – Branca came out aggressive, throwing punches and kicks, bringing it to Mohammed. When Mohammed shot for a takedown, Branca cracked him with a stiff jab, followed by a cross, followed by an uppercut! Mohammed was hurt badly and went down from the punches! Joao Cajo Branca def. Tyson Mohammed via KO (Strikes) at 0:27 of round 1.

-[Light-Heavyweight Division: Daniel O Reilly vs. Jonny Sins

Round 1 – O Reilly came out with a stiff body shot on Sins and followed it by going upstairs with a cross. Sins clinched and broke the clinch which I hate. Sins rushed forward with wild punches that missed and ate a right cross to his surprise. Sins ate another body shot and went for a double leg takedown, landing in guard. O Reilly tried to brute force his way to his feet and Sins passed into side control. Sins began to threaten with an arm triangle and O Reilly tried to get back to his feet. Sins kept him on the ground only to stand back up for no god damned reason. Now I know what the “sin” really is. Sins clinched and then broke the clinch. O Reilly went to work with beautiful striking to close out the round, although Sins did score a takedown and stand back up to piss me off.

Round 2 – Sins went wild with a right hand that was never going to land and O Reilly showed him how it's done with a right to the body. O Reilly rushed forward with wild punches and Sins tied him up in a clinch... and then broke the clinch. Both fighters started to throw pretty sloppy combinations that missed. O Reilly tagged sins with a body shot that prompted the man to clinch again. For some reason Sins tried to pull guard and the two separated again. O Reilly pushed forward with more punches to close out the round although Sins scored a takedown near the end of the round, he did nothing with it.

Round 3 – O Reilly came out jabbing in this round. Sins scored a takedown, landed the smallest amount of ground and pound ever, and then stood back up. After some failed striking exchanges, Sins clinched, pulled guard, and then reversed to the top. Just when it looked like he was going to put up some ground offense, O Reilly escaped to his feet. Sins clinched and took O Reilly down near the end of the round and then lay and prayed his way to losing the fight. Daniel O Reilly def. Jonny Sins via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

-[bantamweight Division: Kalvin Harper vs. Daiyan Jr Jesus Valdes

Round 1 – Jesus Valdes started off this fight looking to be in terrible shape, already sweating and breathing heavily. After a couple of failed attempts, Harper took Valdes down, landing in half guard. Harper was content to lay in half guard working ground and pound. At one point a big elbow visibly hurt Valdes, who all but turtled up. Harper passed into side control to continue his assault but then took the rest of the round off.

Round 2 – Harper wasted no time in rushing across the cage, picking up Valdes for a huge takedown, and slamming him to the canvas. In doing so he knocked the man out cold. Kalvin Harper def. Daiyan Jr Jesus Valdes via TKO (Slam) at 0:05 of round 2.

-[Light-Heavyweight Division: Andrew Jones vs. Dexter Morgan

Round 1 – Morgan came out with a big right hand that dropped Jones immediately a la Randy Couture versus Tim Sylvia! Bleeding badly, Jones climbed to his feet and threw a wild desperate head kick. The two fighters traded kick attempts in the center of the cage until Morgan landed a picture perfect head kick to put Jones back on the ground! This time Jones shot in for a takedown attempt, desperate to get out of this one-sided beatdown but Morgan stuffed the attempt and tagged him with a right hand for his trouble!
