Jason Stillwell: I have an upcoming match on the 24th with the 25 year old Jimmer Jones(1-1) for California MMA.

Mark Peppers: How do you think the age difference plays into this fight?

Jason Stillwell: Honestly it doesn't. We started at about the same te and I have been improving quickly that I don't think his age plays much of a role here. As big as the roster is here at California MMA and how much longer guys have been at this then me there is way tougher opponents they could have matched me up against.

Mark Peppers: Your friend Ian Reilly just had a devastating fast KO loss. How is that effecting him and how does this effect your upcoming match.

Jason Stillwell: Like you said we are friends and we train together at Old School Training so I see him all the time. It's not an outcome we didn't expect even the odds maker had Ian as a slight underdog. But yeah he's down. No fighter who truly cares about the work they put in and wants to be something is going to get beat like that and not care. But the bottom line is the guy has been at this a lot longer than Ian and there was a 9 year difference between the two. Ian and I are still basically just kids and he went out there and did his best and showed his class after the fight. So props to my boy, I don't think anyone could have asked for more. As far as how it effects my fight it doesn't. Is it possible that the exact same thing happen to me? Yes there is. If it stays on the feet I get beat in this fight bottom line.

Mark Peppers: About that you giving us a little hint to your game plan? and are you a little bit timid about grappling with a blue belt?

Jason Stillwell: Look my stand up is improving slowly but surely. But it is getting better and I would be foolish not to work at getting better at it, but I would be equally foolish to think I have the ability to stand with Jones. As far as the grappling with a blue belt, when I first started I said that I'm a wrestler at heart and will always work on that area of my game and I have been. Been sharpening the tools I already brought to the table and adding new ones. Coach says won't be before this fight probably but don't be surprised in the fight after this one for me to be sporting a purple one.

Mark Peppers: So what is your prediction for this upcoming fight?

Jason Stillwell: Well either I get knocked out on the feet, the ref stops the fight from my GNP, or Jones taps due to a submission he gave me.

Mark Peppers: Anything you want to say to your opponent, the org, or these fine people in California?

Jason Stillwell: Yeah Jones I'm looking forward to getting in there with you and seeing where the chips fall. To the people at California MMA thank you again for the opportunity for me to show what I got. And to the people of California thank you for your support, come on out and watch us, and don't be surprised if you a bunch of Hawaiians there traveling to support me as well. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you all.

Congrats to Doctor John Zoidberg on the FOURTH consecutive succesful title defense for Druggs. I don't know what you're injecting him with but my boys could use some of that.

After much posturing and intimidation Lafayette indeed delivered and now has a very impressive record of 12 wins with only 2 defeats. A reliable source tells us that our betting partner was forced to file for a government bail out after this latest win.

Fun fact: at this point in time CMMA is the largest organization worldwide in regards of the number of fighters signed. This is a huge advantage when it comes to matchmaking and ensures that we pretty much always have a good match up for your fighter.

First text line of a 145lb fight should NOT be "Knockdown!", I will tell you that

World ain't ready for Druggs. Nonetheless, Druggs will dominate the Earth.

I barely lost any energy last fight. Think you can arrange Druggs vs Flint while we wait for this?

We gotta see, Yasha is a mini-clone of Zai Druggs, but does it hold the same punch? The same Oungh? Thats what we are about to learn.

I asked Scottie and he'll look into it. No garantee because the matchmaking for coming events has mostly been done.  Also Flint is currently resting. But if he's willing to fight and there's a gap in the roster, Scottie will probably try to get you another match.

35w3.jpg     Mehdi Kanaani - new 145 contender

Is very nice to be here in this organization but to many skinny legs with big arms like Zai "Steroid head" Druggs  in this weight class. And let s be serious, to many talkers, sit down and shut it and maybe after I win some fights here I move to 155 for a new challange.

Well, congrats to the Barnes clan for holding on to that title! Eric Barnes remains undefeated.

Pablito took 32 seconds to KO former Empire heavyweight champion Gruff.

A mysterious youngster is making his way quickly through the ranks in the heavyweight division. Maksud Magomedov has secured a top 100 ranking in his weightclass after last night's win over Olafsson. We expect to see a lot more in the future from this lad in the spandex body glove.

Jason Stillwell Twitter page: Just got out of my fight with Jones and I'm now 2-0 with 1 KO folks. ? Living life and loving it.

Julian replied: Way to go what's next

Jason Stillwell replied: I don't know. This win makes it interesting. So many guys have been retiring, I'm new and young. I don't fight often to train, since my body is still in development. Makes this rather difficult.

Kissedyourgirlfriend replied: Front row. Nice. That grown and pound looking vicious.

Jason Stillwell: Thanks. A little frustrated with some misses there. With my grappling advancing maybe next win will be a submission and then I'll have a win in every way possible.

Trollman5000 replied: Not even an opponent yet and calling a win someone has a big head

Jason Stillwell: No I am saying it would be cool.

StillwellFan01: Number one fan here seriously when who and where?

Jason Stillwell: No telling but won't be anytime soon. At least a month out.
