Let's settle who is the MMA Tycoons GOAT? Fighter and Manager.

MMA TYCOON GOAT FIGHTER --- ???

MMA TYCOON GOAT MANAGER --- ???

Jeremy Tonal

Lance Templeton

You can make the argument for Womba but Jeremy Tonal beat Womba with LT setting the sliders.  You could probably also argue Rinky Spider - a 48-8 record in the heavyweight division in the top ID org followed by the top org I don't think can be topped.

Kane beat Tonal in his prime and had a better run. This logic makes no sense.

Also Fidel Puno over Rinky. Kimbo Slice also over Rinky

quiz

How many fighters have beaten not 1, not 2, but 3 p4p #1 fighters?

not including former #1's but fighters who were ranked #1 p4p at the time of being defeated.

Rick Robinson

Einer Lee (#2 p4p)

Milo Phillips (former #1 p4p)

Lee Villa

Jesus Gonzales (Former #1 p4p)

Muhammed Muhammed

Johnny Cage

Manu Okoro x2 (#2 p4p)

Jeremy Tonal (#1 p4p)

Taj Al Din (#1 p4p)

Godly Resume by Jigaro Kane.

Can't put Puno there unfortunately - not with three losses to one guy. Bubba would never win any GOAT contest but he would win the most entertaining fighter contest and it wouldn't be close. I'd take Rinky over Kimbo but looking at their records they are quite similar. I wasn't here for Kimbo.

I'm guessing we skip the part where Tonal rag dolled Kane in under three minutes. Kane never got close to getting the trilogy with Tonal after it. Kane fought on for too long past his prime to be considered the GOAT. He is the Tycoon version of Dan Severn. The best in his time but fought on for far too long after it. Need to know when to fold them to get into the GOAT conversation unfortunately. From my understanding Kane was a product of Luke just being ahead of the game at the time with a private gym, sussed out the counter strat quicker than anyone else and he left shortly after it when everyone started catching up.

Tonal on the other hand came back after a two year absence and beat the guy who was quickly getting into the GOAT conversation.

None of them were #1 p4p when Kane beat them, so this answer is wrong.

Kane was the GOAT in the same way that Matt Hughes, Bas Rutten, Shogun, or Chuck Liddell was the GOAT.

Truth about Kane having massive prime advantage over most and product of counter era.

As for Tonal, the GOAT doesn't end his career by tapping to strikes... Womba took his soul ?

Tonal by far was juiced to the gills, one of the greatest hiddens ever, probably on that wolf juice, even if he was farmed on a multi before Deamus scooped him up.

IMHO Womba > Tonal

in terms of careers.

Womba 34-3-1 streak vs better comp than Tonal. You really can't take portions of their careers where Tonal was superior. Tonal shining moment over Womba's career was LT smashing him in the 1st fight.

Womba beat better fighters (and managers ?) and fought in better orgs. Also did it with a GRAPPLER. Avenged the Tonal loss in the most humiliating way possible.. so that is almost null and void.

Tonal definitely had better hiddens though.

I know the correct answer was Kilo, oh and BTW Tonal and Taj al din were #1 ranked when he beat them no?

Taj was 14-0 vs and 24 years old. Maybe top 100 p4p or top 10 w/c at the time.

Tonal was at least ranked in his w/c but only 25 y/o. looks like he was ranked higher than Kane. I don't think he was #1 though.

That's funny.  LT denied setting sliders for that fight when I brought it up postfight.  I remember advising Kelly not to take the fight for a few other reasons as well(Tonal hadnt fought in 2-3 engine changes iirc, questions about who was setting sliders), but she was having fun with Womba's run and it was a legendary fight.  The second fight was a much better representative of the fighters then the first.

Tonal has way better hiddens than Womba. Tonal smashes Womba majority of the time head to head in their primes.

Tonal is the HIDDEN GOAT of the game, without a doubt. especially of fighters who've been to #1.

Tonal (37) vs Womba (35) when Tonal was passed his age drop off. Age drop off is often very telling to a fighter's decline.

Smokudju Womba - Hiddens Report.

Intelligence: 60/150.
Heart: 94/150.
Chin: 133/150.
Injury Proneness: 79/150.
Self Confidence: 143/150.
Cuts: 121/150.
Fast Learner: 139/150.
Natural KO: 135/150.
Average: 113.0/150. Rank: 3,186 out of 209,048 (top 2%)

Experience: 147/150.
Potential: 117/123. (Min 96).
Age Drop Off: 35 years.

Jeremy Tonal - Hiddens Report.

Intelligence: 101/150.
Heart: 145/150.
Chin: 139/150.
Injury Proneness: 15/150.
Self Confidence: 74/150.
Cuts: 131/150.
Fast Learner: 141/150.
Natural KO: 150/150.
Average: 112.0/150. Rank: 3,852 out of 209,048 (top 2%)

Experience: 147/150.
Potential: 116/123. (Min 96).
Age Drop Off: 33 years.

remember injury proneness is backwards...

So Tonal's average hidden score corrected is 127 (top 0%) and top 50 out of 209,048 fighters of all time.

He was obviously Mike or Wolf's favorite fighter.

but this isn't who was the better fighter (hands down Tonal) this is who had the better career and imo Womba easily gets the edge for a variety of reasons listed above.

All the fighters above Tonal had higher injury proneness than 75. Most in the 100's or high 100's. If the score was corrected it would drag their average down by 10-20 pts. Few exceptions...

Martin St Louis injury proneness 85/150. Corrected score would be 65/150. He's ranked top 1200 all time and top 1%.

Latka Gravas has a true hidden value. Injury proneness is 75/150. He's ranked 2,591 all time and top 1%

Womba injury proneness 79/150. 71/150 isn't making much of a difference.

Ricky Rocker's 28/150 would be a 132/150 and push his average up to 125.25 making him a top 0% fighter. super impressive for a dude sith only 51/150 KO power.
