Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

It is march 2nd which means registration has officially closed for the Tycoon olympics and we now look forward to the official tournament on April 6th 2022.

Tournament start date was moved from April 5th to April 6th due to the tournament dropping bracket size from 16 down to 8. This move was made to ensure that competition was kept at as high a level as possible as well as allowing all divisions to have a even number of competitors (some divisions did not reach 16 sign ups).

Below you will find the official tournament rankings so you can see who is in your division and where you rank. You have 1 month to fight your way in if you are not currently ranked in the top 8. Fighter rankings are officially locked in on April 1st.

- Rankings will be updated once on March 16th then Brackets will be posted April 3st for everyone to see after rankings are locked in and sorted through plus potentially graphics created for it.

- First and second round will be 3×5 minute rounds with the finals being 5×5 minute rounds

- No Injury or Energy Loss similar to a QFC tournament

- Brackets will be seeded based on rank

Tournament begins: April 6th

Tournament Ends: April 8th

Best of luck and may the odds ever be in your favor!!!

Being in the spirit of the Olympics featuring the top fighters, even though they are late entrants it would be a disservice to the Olympics to not add them.

@DeadDisneyfighter 145: Yuro Nagasaki

@Rambofighter 265+: Kilo Maluga

Yuro is now officially in.

Killer Kidd should be #1 at 135?

It fluctuates. At the time of the update Kidd was #2. There are a few pairings who are 1 p4p off eachother and keep switching (or at least they were before). I never understood how people pass other people in the rankings when neither one of them fought in the meantime; it's especially noticeable at SYN with people in the top 10.

No worries - yeah it’s weird af

OK, so this will be run in the QFC "org", but I'll be manually changing it so that the event names etc are all appropriate. I'll also be setting up all the tournaments manually, so that part will be trial and error, but hopefully it will run OK once the brackets are set up (aside from the event names).

We'll get one weightclass set up first and run their first event, before starting all the others. I don't wanna set it all up at once in case it doesn't automatically run, so we'll do Bantamweight first. How much time do people want before the first event? Is 3 days fine? I don't mind resetting injuries and energy.

Kstacks announced April 6th as the start date, so why not start it per the schedule(and reset injuries/energy if needed).

I really do hope this kicks off per the original schedule and sticks to it.  I had zero issue working around the Olympics from an org perspective and holding off on certain fights and such till this was over but if it doesn't go off on schedule it's going to royally hose me on a few spots I left open on events immediately after.

The issue here for me is this:

I saved spots on the Apr. 10 and 13th cards specifically for title fights and such and that will hose over the subsequent title fights waiting on those as well as the events that they were planned for.  I can't push those fights to cards after them in the near term because those cards are full.  Seriously, if this doesn't finish by the date it was originally scheduled for, I'll basically never be as accomodating in the future.  Friggin' hell.

Which weight classes are they in? I'll see what I can do.

I am trying to help out with something nice for the community; to run something cool, which will take a lot of time for me to set everything up manually. So far I've deleted two posts giving me abuse, then this complaint and zero thanks to balance it out from anyone... So it's not a great from my POV.

Featherweight and Middleweight are the ones that directly affect us the most.  And the posts weren't intended as "complaints" about the effort or what not, they were simply intended to convey the very real impact that a schedule delay will cause due to the fact that fighters and managers have asked us to hold off on fights for over a month at this point.  And at least in our org, as I'm sure many others as well, we're mostly scheduled out a month in advance on cards.  So moving things around at this point is near impossible.

Something is off with the booked fights. My fighter Killer Kid is booked to fight a certain guy according to my confirmed fights on the fight offer page, but on my fighter his page, it says the fight is booked with a totally different fighter? What is going on?

Also, my fighter just fought this weekend and his energy obviously is still not OK, so this will be set to full energy for all fighters in the tourney before their fights right?

Go off the fight offers page. I'm working through it...

Yes I will fix energy.

1/ OK thanks. FYI, the fighter that I am booked against according to my fighter page (and I suppose that is the correct one), isn't booked at all according to his own page, just FYI.)

2/ OK cool, thanks.
