CelticStryder
I am with @The1rstSaint. Lost all interest in doing avatars because there is no rhyme o reason as to why one gets accepted and one doesn't. Appears to be just personal preference of the person judging them. Explain to me the following examples: Rejected for being too realistic and not avatary enough: Approved despite meeting any of the criteria listed for approval including using any elements of the in-game avatars: This one was approved and is a blatant copy of Danny Danger:
Skuzbukit
If I had MAX 3DS I'd ask Mike for the original models and start cranking out Avatars that would be 100% "Avatary Enough" myself but I don't have the kinda money that would require just laying about. And if you aren't using it professionally as a cg modeller/artist it's just not worth buying and learning to use it anyway. That's why this game could really use a character creation engine. It seems Mike will approve of whatever face has weird eyes, a bulbous nose and puffy lips.

CelticStryder
I think this thread is a perfect example of everything that has gone wrong with the game and the community in recent years. You have someone pointing out an obvious issue/inconsistency within the game that has been brought up numerous times and never once addressed. There is an overwhelming consensus within the thread the no one truly understands what the current criteria is that should be met to get an avatar approved. You have at least two long standing graphics artists who in my opinion (feel free to disagree) have made substantial contributions to the game and community with their work that are saying they cant be bothered to continue those contributions due to the lack of consistency above. Noting has ever been said that gives any indication that any of this will ever be addressed or a proper set of standards will be revamped and adhered to moving forward. Not saying this specific concern in relation to avatars is anywhere close to the biggest issue in the game but I think the points made above can be applied to 99% of all concerns that the community has brought forward regarding any issues they see within the game.

Just don’t allow nudity no boobies or penises on avatars. I'm unironically for this. The tycoon avatar system makes it too difficult for players that haven't been playing for a decade to make avatars. The ones who care enough to put effort into avatars will be the ones who make them, I think. Also, I don't think that we shouldn't be allowed to reuse avatars or even steal them conceivably, there are thousands of fighters and few features to where I don't think originality really matters as much. The game is dead as fuck too, to put it frankly. But if we are to go the originality route though, mike or vlad should probably put more effort into making the game more original, meaning more features.
Zello
Get rid of the 15 VIP days being charged for Avatars. I'm already paying for VIP that should be an included feature.
