  1. (I know this has been brought up many times, this is in the hope that Mike sees this and agrees its a good idea). Since we have been able to buy more fighter slots (a couple of years or more now?) the number of coach skill points in a gym should have been increased, at least by 600 points. Its just out of step with our modern Mmatycoon rosters. Cheers!

  2. Mr. Theksit Ruengruong http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/manager_avatars/1506111614sitteechai.gif "Congratulations Glass Joe that was a masterful performance. A legit outclassing of a theorically more skilled prospect, handing the Sitsongrit MMA camp perhaps the worst defeat in its short history. Chamuaknoi collected his show money and went partying for a couple days but we sent him on a back-and-forth, 50-hour trip to Sydney to think things over on the plane. He suggested he wants a bigger contract in another org but he's been told by management his mission in life now is to regroup and take the Rise 135 pounds title. I'll make sure he does that."

  4. I thought I'd bring the predictions back for this card because it's such a great card in my opinion. Firstly we have the vacant Featherweight title fight between former champ: Blake Green and top contender Brody Kavanagh Next it's a Welterweight title fight between Current Syn Welterweight champion Orlando Diggs facing off against Former DARE Welterweight champion Benson Whyte! and in the main event it's a Heavyweight Title fight between top contender Pierre St. Georges taking on the Heavyweight champion Kimbo Slice!

  9. Hello All, I thought it would be appropriate to start a thread now, seeing most of the initial groundwork has been completed. As of me typing this, we have 31 rostered fighters with many more verbally agreeing once SFC has released their contracts. There is also 88 pending contracts, so I am doing all I can. The aim of this Organisation is; 1. Produce a strong and respected 320k+ Organisation as possible. 2. Make enough money to keep above water, whilst keeping all fighters well paid as possible. If you have a fighter you wish to move across, please message me their details and what you're looking at contract wise.

  10. Even with max amount of fighter slots, the current coach limit allows 2on1 sessions for your full roster. Add to that, that you will have at least 4-5 older fighters who are just sparring, probably an assistant, means that you will be getting 1on1/2on1 most of the time, which is pretty good training. As much as I think that managing training is bullshit, i still like the advantage that good management could give to a poorer newcomer against a veteran, sitting on 50+mil, looking for the easy way to cheese his financial advantage. Also, with the userbase getting thinner and thinner, I think that now there are decent public gyms offering 2on1 sessions as well. Either give equal training access to everyone or keep it the way it is now.

  11. Glass Joe, MMA record 11-3 (bantamweight 11-2) You have been very quiet in media as champion at RISE, until recently that is, what has changed? Oh, nothing really, I've always been open to making interviews, taking time for fans all of that. I'll blame my manager. Says he has been too busy to book press events. Haha, with what I'm earning him now he should be doubling his efforts for me. Oh, that almost sounds like you are out shopping for new management? No, not at all. Just taking a jab at him. Me and Mac goes way back, he had a busy period, that's all, but he handles everything important, I would never leave him for other management. So, lets talk about what you have been up to. Things obviously turned out well for you here at RISE, but there was some turbulence shortly after you joined. Were you ever thinking about leaving again? No, didn't even think about it since I was holding the belt and I wanted to stay and defend it even if it would be some time before the 135lbs division got going again. I took that one fight one weight class up just to make sure I was staying in shape during the wait. There was some speculation if that was a bid for holding two belts, was there any truth to that? No, Brunno was actually ready to offer me a title shot at 145 right away, but I wasn't interested in that, just wanted to fight and see if I could hang with the heavier guys, not move there permanently. I've seen close up how tough it is to hold two belts when my good friend Daichi Kishimoto did. The training program, frequent fights, the diets and weight management. He managed for a good while, but I think it may have been what lost him both belts in the end. I rather focus at 135 to be as successful there as possible. Ronald Mateo Suarez cuts from 150lbs and I don't regret trying a fight against a heavier guy, but it is one loss that doesn't bother me at all. So once things started moving again at RISE you racked up 3 straight title defenses. I talked to the owner Winger Daddy earlier and he pointed out this is a new record over the previous one from legendary hall of famer Mike Sadollah. At bantamweight you only ever lost to Kishimoto. Could you imagine yourself having another success run like this when you first came to RISE? I didn't think much about it, it was my manager Mac who told me to move and it did work out.. so you see whatever I said about him earlier i know he will always look out for me so i just trust him on things like this. Yes we hear he got some connections in the org, cannot hurt with a manager like that? Not sure what you are going at now, but yes he and Winger who I mentioned are good friends. They hang out occasionally, having a beer, talking about fights, training programs, life and whatever I guess. But Brunno is the one doing all the matchmaking. Sure Mac gets along fine with him and the EE guys as well, but as sure as you know a veteran like Brunno you must also know he is a true and true professional. Before we run out of time we must of course get to the big news, your recent fight against Chamuaknoi Sitsongrit, what a show that was. And a real nailbiter as well for a while as almost everyone agrees Chamuaknoi took the third round and was looking like he might turn the tide at that point. But you wrapped it up with a confident victory in the end, tell us your version, what happened there in the 4th round? Yes that was a real fun fight, and I think it may have been one of my best so far on a tactical level. He was having some success, especially with his leg kicks and i felt that in the 3rd round. But then in the 4th he was starting to get stressed, I think he knew by then I wasn't planning on going down for a count, been there done that, it was a previous life and it doesn't bother me getting hit any more, it is just about keep going and hit the other guy harder. He had to win that round to keep up on score. He started to press forward more, but this only worked against him when we got more into my range. I heard his corner shouting, but I had the initiative as he started to back off more again I followed and pressed forward on him instead when he wasn't fully taking advantage of his counter opportunities any more. Like I said before the fight, Chamuaknoi has skill, but my experience simply gave me the decisive advantage here. But he is tough, took some good shots especially in the 5th round that not all fighters would have stood up to. I hope Mr. Ruengruong won't be too hard on him after this one. That was a full 5 rounder that had high level tactics, both fighters showing heart and aggression as well as beautiful technique. It will surely be a classic among hardcore fans of the sport. It is also nice to see the respect between your side and the Sitsongrit camp when you were talking after the fight. Yes all of the YABAI guys are among the very top when it comes to producing skilled fighters. You have to respect something like that, but more important they keep things clean and honest. I've been following them for a while and especially the Sitsongrit camp. It was an honor to fight against them and this is a win I'm proud of. Your next fight is already set and again you face a thai fighter, one you already defeated once back at SFC. How do you think Dieselnoi Por Pramuk will approach this one given how you just handled a top MT fighter? He will surely be watching the tape in his preparations. He is sure to try something new this time around, he was a purple belt already last time we fought, he may try to use his ground experience now and take it to the ground. But I'll let my manager worry about the what ifs, in the end my plan will just be to punch him in the face one way or another, sounds simple enough doesn't it? Thank you, have a well deserved rest now, we are all looking forward to seeing you in action again next year.

  14. Bob Sapp. Some people actually believed he was going somewhere after he roughed up Big Nog until he got subbed. But his highlight reel to this day still cracks me up. A GIANT baby that don't liked to get hit. I still remember him in the longest yard, and I that character was made for him.

  15. Conor McGregor? Naaaaah ..... he lost against one of the best boxers this side of the year 2000. In a fight, where hardly anybody gave him a chance to begin with. Then he lost against a guy, who is unbeaten WELL into his MMA career and one of the best grapplers in the history of the sport. I think McGregor just got complaicant. He is filthy rich now and is seeking other options. Remember how he said, that he doesn't "need to be here" in the presser with Khabib? Compare that with the old McGregor, who was confident to a fault and always very present in these situations, absoloutely on top of the ongoing conversations about his next fight and /or opponent. Says a lot about where his mind is. Even Kavanagh publically advised him to hang 'em up. McGregor has no desire to compete anymore. It's obvious. How about Mark Kerr. His decline was tough to watch.

  16. Conor McGregor's "downfall" is simply a (rather embarrassing) loss to Khabib, and he could still come back right now and get more PPV buys than any other fighter. It's hard to call it a downfall when he is still disgustingly rich and the most popular fighter in the UFC. Rousey's fall from grace was far worse, as she lost her title and comeback fight with brutal one-sided fights - although she has redeemed herself with whatever she is doing in WWE at the moment. Like Erik said, Johny Hendricks has had a terrible time since "losing" to GSP, and is definitely one of the front-runners for biggest downfall. B.J Penn went from being one of the best fighters in the world to this: Takanori Gomi, Bigfoot Silva, Tim Sylvia, Ken Shamrock, Mark Kerr, Krazy horse* (although he never reached the top), and many others had far worse downfalls than McGregor, and it is simply not comparable. *his recent record

  17. ACB 4 - New Years Rumble Main Event of the Evening Vasily Grossman (1-0-0) V (0-0-0) George Steve Jr Main Event of the Evening In the Main Event we got 2 fighters with their forces in different styles of the game. Vasily Grossman is a Boxing oriented Wrestler. who looks like a guy that will continue as he ended in his ACB debut fight. a lot of strong Clinch control and real strong dirty boxing. He is looking like a guy who wanna win this fight by TKO/KO if possible. But up against a great Muay Thai fighter, it might be hard for him. In the other corner we got our Muay Thai specialist George Steve Jr, who joined ACB to get back on track after his last loss. In this fight he can either try to go to the ground and use his BJJ Blue Belt and win this by a Sub or he can try use his MT and win this fight in the stand up. But against an opponent like Vasily who just came out with a win in a TOUGH fight, it might be more save for him to try go to the ground. We have no clue who is gonna win this fight, its gonna be damn close and maybe one of them will look to be a future champ. CO Main Event of the Evening Seamus Coleman (1-0-0) V (0-1-0) Tom Chandler In the CO main event we got our first rematch at ACB. Seamus Coleman won the first fight between these 2 figters, and with his great skills in Muay Thai he'll probably try to control this fight from the outside. With Seamus great kick's Tom Chandler needs to be carefull when he chooses to shoot in for a takedown attempt. Tho' Seamus got great Muay Thai, he needs to be worried about hitting the floor. If this fight ends up there, he'll be in danger! Tom got his forces in Wrestling and with a BJJ Blue Belt to add to that, he needs to get this fight to the ground. If he can get this fight where he want it, i cant see how Seamus should be able to stop him from controling this fight with strong top control and good GnP. This is a fight between 2 totally different styles, and our first rematch. This is gonna be close, and the fighter who can use his gameplan the best will most likely end up winning this! Robert Alomar (0-0-0) V (0-0-0) Jew Jitsu In this fight we've got 2 BJJ guys. Robert Alomar with a Brown Belt in BJJ looks like a guy who's ready to fight almost anyone in ACB at the moment. This is his debut fight, and we'll see for the first time how good he is and how high a lvl he's ready to compete on. He got some experience in Boxing as well and we'll see if he starts up with his boxing or he goes straight to the ground. In his first fight he's gonna fight another BJJ guy, Jew Jitsu who got a Purple Belt in BJJ but a stronger Wrestling background than Alomar. Its gonna be interesting which of these 2 gentlemens who is gonna end on top in this fight. None of them have been fighting for long time, and this is looking like its gonna be a real grappling contest!

  18. Welcome once again to ACB Previews. Today we're doing previews on 2 events, ACB 3 and ACB 4 - New Years Rumble At Saturday 29th of December we're starting off in a bigger Arena than we're used to, as ACB 3 will be held in Hayashi's Lounge. We're looking very much forward to see how high the attendance will be for this event, and if we're already now ready to stay at bigger arenas! To round of the year, we're having one more event this month, ACB 4 - New Years Rumble at New Years day the 31th of December and will be held at The Underground. Again we'll get one step closer to crown our first champ at Anti Championship Berkut, which is one of the things we're looking at with big eyes and smiles on our faces. And these 2 events will hopefully show us which fighters got the qualities to get a title shot! ACB didn't just start to be a middleclass ORG. We're here to get to the top and to make BIG champions in the future! We cant wait to get real started, and in 2019 we will do all we can to grow fast and get higher in the global rankings! Back to the tema of this page, our previews ACB 3 Main Event of the Evening Nathanial Roesler (1-0-0) v (0-0-0) Conor Mcgregor In the Main Event we're having a great fight set up. A young gun at 19 years of age are ready to fight against a 6 year older opponent and we'll see who of these 2 competitors will get out with his hands raised. This is a fight between 2 fighters with the same style of fighting, both do have their strenghts in Muay Thai and both do have some experience with Wrestling. This fight is gonna be interesting for sure, and i think its gonna be mostly standup fighting we'll see in this fight. Nothing is said and done tho', cause both of these men do have a Blue Belt in BJJ. And Conor Mcgregor looks a little weaker than Nathanial Roesler in the stand up game, so its gonna be interesting to see if Conor is gonna try to get this fight to the ground. Our favorite in this match is gonna be Nathanial after his overwhelming victory in his ACB Debut. CO Main Event of the Evening Daleb Managedov (0-0-0) v (0-0-0) Billy Butler In the CO Main Event we got Daleb Managedov, a 22 year old Russian guy who was on a winning streak back in another Org - DSC, but chosed to continue his form in ACB. He is looking strong and got a great Wrestling background. He is known for his GroundnPound but he also got a Blue Belt in BJJ. My guess will be that he's definitely looking to take this fight to the ground and continue his form with a win by TKO/KO. On the other side we got a 2 year younger American, Billy Butler is not gonna make it easy for Daleb to just win this fight. With his strenghts in Boxing and and his Blue Belt in BJJ he doesn't look like a scared guy coming in against the Russian. But he'll probably try to keep this standing and outclass his opponent with his boxing. In this fight its very much about who is getting the better out of their strenghts. A Wrestler against a Boxer and this is gonna be a hell of a fight! Black Mamba (1-0-0) v (0-0-0) Garvan O Griofa In this fight we're having 2 upcoming talents against each other. 2 19 year olds with the future in their own hands. Black Mamba started of great in ACB with a good win by decision. In that fight he showed us that he is ready for 3 round fights against others at his own lvl. In this fight he is up against a tougher opponent in Garvan O Griofa who is gonna debut at this night. These 2 fighters are really close to each others in skills, same age and close to same ID as well. This fight is hard to predict, both of them is great Boxers. Garvan with the upper hand in the Muay Thai aspect and will probably looks to use his clinch to control most of the fight. Both of these gentlemen have a Blue Belt in BJJ and overall this is looking like a fight that could end out being The Fight of the Night at ACB 3. 2 very well rounded fighters and both of them 2 young guns. Who will win? We'll see at Saturday!

  20. Good point, and not having them count on your record is not exactly a disadvantage when you are new and testing things out. Maybe even give new players a bunch of "free" smoker fights to start with before being limited to the once per month? Would give you a taste of the game immediately without being the real thing. If there is no record/hype involved that should also remove the incentive to create multis for the smoker fights.

  21. I really like the "smokers" idea but much more for non-VIP users than the other way around. VIPs already have 10 spots and endless features to enjoy. non-VIPs are the potential future customers who are turned off by the slow pace of the game - Having only four fighter slots, waiting for fights, finding out they created bad builds, etc. Female fighters is a useless idea.

Chamuaknoi is still young and I have no doubt his time will come. I'd love to see more of that flashy next generation stuff it in the cage one day, but I hear not all of it was approved under the current ruleset. Maybe Mr Mike on the rules committee will look into it some day, but what do I know, I'm just here because I love to fight. And tonight I got to do just that, sounds like the audience enjoyed it too!

  28. I will say it and say it proudly screw other countries and their citizens, until we can take care of our own. We have millions upon millions of homeless (women, men and children). Until we solve our own issues we shouldn't be worried about others period. What country ever comes to help bail out the US or send aid when in need? No one does, but yet we give out billions upon billions of dollars every year to other countries while our own sit here in need. Everyone laughs cause we are in major debt, well hell yea when give billions out to anyone and everyone with nothing in return, NOTHING IN RETURN but disrespect. Sure we were the power country forever but bailing everyone else out and helping every other country out there has driven us down. It's fair time we worry about ourselves first and not everyone else. When / if we finally fold who the fuck other countries going to turn too then? lmao.

It is generally rare to see submissions in top level orgs, it is even more rare to see it between two top ranking fighters. This happened in the last second of the 4th round and was the second submission against Katu for Farboleous. This one was for the 155lbs GAMMA title. This was the highest profile submission in a GAMMA title fight for 2018, i had some others, but never between a top 12 vs top 36 fighter.

  38. Rules say "You are not allowed to nominate yourself, your fighters..."; it doesn't say you can't nominate your fighter's "moves". So if it's not allowed then sorry but this one was a cool sub: Marcinho Sitsongrit slaps an armbar with 7 seconds left at TWGC 20 Round 2. He was losing 15-4 on points - http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=913099

  39. This is exactly correct. The reason we all have money is because we worked our asses off to get it. We didn't have the newspaper back then and when it finally did come about it didn't pay very well. We did write-ups, or graphics, or started businesses, like public gyms, and struggled. Eventually our hard work started to pay off and we began to see a return on our efforts. Now there are poeple out there willing to just hand money out where we did not have that, there are loans available, so you could get a $50K loan for your company and then got get another $50K loan from an older manager. We did not have that either. When many of us started we all started with just a few hundred dollars and almost no one had any money to spare so no one gave me hundreds or tens of thousands of dollars to help me out. I signed up to train in shitty gyms and scrapped by slowly growing. I wrote write-ups (Previews, reviews, and interviews) And the pay back then for that stuff was no where near as much as they pay now. Giving new players $100K makes it far too easy to get a major company started and start printing money. There are some valid points you make though. Particularly the statement about the cost of public gyms. Sadly it's a fundamental problem with the gyms in this game. The costs to run a gym make them virtually impossible to make a profit. However, there have been solutions proposed and hopefully a solution can be reached.

  43. None of this is new. Watch the HBO documentary "Hacking Democracy". http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808532/?ref_=nv_sr_1 That is about the actual voting machines and how susceptible they are to fraud. The Obama administration backed a coup against a democratically elected government in the Ukraine (because it was pro-russian) but ignores a referendum when Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to leave the Ukraine and join Russia. The US has a longstanding policy of loving democracy when it suits its foreign policy and ignoring it when it does not.

  44. Perhaps it's not so much the opinion as the dumbshit ways people express them. That and the fact that not all positions are equal or deserving of respect. The logo should be a condom; protects a bunch of pricks and gives you a sense of security while you're being screwed.

  45. Far right, far left. Republicans, Democrats. Political gang nonsense. Picking a side is fucking retarded. There should be no sides, no parties. You know why their logo's are Elephant and Donkey? It's because that's what the people in power see in their followers. Bunch of fat fuckers and jackasses.

  46. Its me humors I no clue what to do so I will just ask it here and pray for the best. I have been banned like 6 months in forum for no reason when I have clearly been allowed to play the game. I have numerous times tried to contact moderators and Mike himself to get explanation of why I am banned and when I will be allowed in forum? But I have never received any response what so ever. I am allowed to play and I have been here with my new account more than a year at this point and I did never abuse any rules of game or forum what so ever and really can't understand why I can't be allowed to play fully as every other customer this game has. On top of that I have been helping this game to improve by helping new managers on daily bases forming one of the biggest and most active alliances in the game and so on. Previously I have been in forum when I was banned I has zero problems what so ever and only things I really did here was making free avatars of helping new managers with the game and now I want to do the same and on top of that advertising our fight organization what is very important if you want to run competition organization. I am just going to leave it here and hopefully some one can help me out with this mess because I think I have been threatened very poorly. I am not asking for much and I have done all I have been asked from Mike and other moderators and I don't see a reason why would I have to be handicapped when it comes to playing this game. And of course Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all of you!

  50. Trump might talk a lot but as long as nobody calls his bluffs it's a net positive for America. The economy will recover. He will get re-elected and finish his billion $ wall. He is making a statement at this point, like CR7. Nothing else to prove just showing off at this point.
