  1. X Grant Alyoshin Kilo Maluga "Sweet Ass Knees" "Bloodbath" #26 p4p #1 p4p Alyoshin vs Maluga 1 Let's rewind back to August 2019. The pandemic hasn't even begun and Karter is still (attempting) to train MMA in real life. "The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kilo Maluga's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout! Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Grant Alyoshin!" Kilo tastes defeat for the first time in his professional career, ironically via cuts. Alyoshin would insist that Kilo was rocked and on his way out anyway. That's up to you to decide. Alyoshin draws first blood in the series. Alyoshin vs Maluga 2 Eight months and several opponents later, Maluga begs the matchmakers for a rematch and gets his wish. The fight started off in the same vein. Alyoshin was slapping Maluga around the place and opening up cuts like it's nothing. Aware the fight is slipping away, manager Chris Karter catches Kilo's eye mid-fight and does his best dry humping impression on the outside of the cage. Kilo's boxing coach looks perplexed. Kilo immediately clinches with his opponent and takes over the fight. "Maluga lands a big knee! That's hurt Alyoshin! Oh, he's all over the place! Maluga lands another knee that sends Alyoshin to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kilo Maluga!" Maluga levels it up: 1-1 Alyoshin vs Maluga 3: TBC After beating the living parsley out of Mister McPasty last night, Grant is eyeing up a date in January to settle the score with Kilo once and for all. "Crack! Alyoshin connects with the perfect overhand right and McNasty falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Alyoshin! Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grant Alyoshin!" Let's make it happen gents @Icon73@DRussellMMA @Rambo

  2. Hey, just wanna shed some light on someone targeting all of my forum posts and downvoting them and spending a massive amount of time on little old me. I’m not affected by it, but as a new page it has made my reputation fall into negative and I don’t think they plan on stopping as it’s been going on for days so just wanted to make it clear that I think my community record is squeaky clean and don’t know why someone is targeting my posts and threads. If whoever the forum terrorist is wants to comment on this and give me an actual reason to your constant and time consuming attempts at making my reputation negative id love to see what you have to say. Haha

  3. Let the record reflect that Kilo didn't beg for a rematch, Kilo was the champ when it was offered by @JayStanley or @AlexManiatakos to sacrifice @actionjackson to the KO King. Kilo 1, Cutman 1, Grant 0 Grant can get the business, but you might wanna go avenge that Wolfgang L while Kilo prepares for the toughest challenge of his career.

  6. Disclaimer - this is about 50% fact and 50% opinion - different people have different ways of owning an org and remember that often the best orgs are the most original. I'll start off with this - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bfdbzhL_ADbZcaFsl-3Z1w4ITZ8PVE51w5IdLQ2MLZk/edit?usp=sharing That is the old blitz event predictor - it worked almost near flawlessly for years. I don't know if it will allow you to grab a copy of it but with Tycoon Tools being down it will for sure help you. You need the Greasemonkey scripts - There is a link to them somewhere on the forums. There is one for PPVs but because of the ads buff etc i've not bothered putting it in - i'll get to PPVs later on. If this does not let you grab a copy of it then let me know and i'll get you your own copy of it. First of all once you have the scripts in place you want to find out the average hype/pop of each fighter on the card. It is relatively simple just take the hype+pop and add them together. In the main event slot for example you would put in the number of fighter #1 in D19 on the card then fighter #2 in D20. The fight average will appear in column E19 for the main event. You do this so on and so forth down the card. That is the long part taken care. Next up you input the arena capacity into D4, org hype into E4 and your DR into K4. This allows you to then see the ticket sales etc and the amount of ads you should run in I4. The seating estimate in L4. You can put in the fighter pay etc into the G and I columns if you want a fairly accurate description on what the profit will be but that is up to you. Most of the time we used it for ads. The Basics Owning an org is time consuming and at times a major headache. It is quite the committal if you are ever thinking of doing it and it is always a lot easier buying an org or helping run an org just to get to grips with the basics. I personally started off writing for orgs which turned into me owning a small org for experience before running Ascension. Most org owners are usually grateful for any help they can get and it allows you to build connections which is the most important thing about running an org. The first question is usually how much does it cost to start an org. Most people now a days start off as ID orgs as it is easily the best way of learning how to run an org. I've most recently had 10k-5k-5k as a starter contract which is a good baseline for a five fight contract for a brand new start. Ideally you want to have between 80-100 fighters between LW and HW - usually around 20 fighters per division. It allows you to run at least a weekly event and most ID org fighters want time to train between fights. You can ramp it up the more fighters you get by adding in events but never go over two events per week because 'DR' will kick in - i'll explain that later. Given the 10k signing bonus per fighter - ideally you are looking at 1.5-2m to start running your own org. So you have successfully got a roster and now it is time to build up for your first event. The screen looks like a jumble sale to start with but it is fairly simple. You want to start off in the 1K arenas. You will have to give away some free tickets but by the end you will be selling them out at premium. I'll break down the different costs. Production - this is quite possibly the easiest calculation to do - everyone has their different philosophies on it but I never ran more than $3 a seat - most of the time I ran $2 per seat. So to explain - if you are running the 1,000 seat arena then you put in $2,000 into production or $3,000. Advertisements - Always use the spreadsheet for this as it can vary from event to event. Ticket Prices - you will always want to sell your tickets at premium - don't ask me why it has just always been that way and I never bothered to ask. Free Tickets - the spreadsheet will calculate how many free tickets to give out to ensure as close to a full house as possible. This should see you make a steady stream of profit - which will always be small at the start but it does build up over time. Using this basic format will allow you to grow an ID org and be relatively successful. Lets discuss what sort of event ratings you should be looking at - I am going to use Sucker Punch Pro Series as the example here. Your first few events won't really equate to shit ratings wise barely cracking the 100 mark. It won't really be until twenty to thirty events in where you start to see the jump closer to the 200's. This is what i'd call the lower end of the game ratings wise. Once you start to break into the 300's consistently is when i'd say you are jumping into the mid tier part. The Mid Level So you have mastered the basics and now it is time to start expanding and dominating your ID range. This can be relatively cut-throat and if you are short on money or struggling then the best advice I can give you at this stage is to sell your org - make a nice profit on the org and maybe return again. You are usually at this stage looking at perhaps one more ID org in your way - if you are lucky then there is two. Hopefully you have gotten yourself the cream of the crop and if you haven't then you should start considering approaching them and asking if they would like a switch. Most ID orgs biggest problem is becoming stale with fighting the same people over and over again. Most people want to fight new guys and usually they will consider your offer and perhaps not re-up when the time comes with the other org. Alternatively you can try and buy out the other org. Most org owners get burnt out and usually by this stage if you aren't burnt out then you should consider approaching the other org owner about a merger. Some times it is actually good to merge the orgs and split the profits between you. It takes some of the burden off of you and usually leads to becoming good friends with the other guy. This is probably the preferred approach because if the first option goes wrong you can find yourself with a thread saying 'this guy is a poacher'. The mid level often is similar to the smaller level in terms of actual events - you will have moved into the 3k-7k arenas by now and doing very well for yourself. I know it is quite difficult but at this stage do NOT hold a PPV. You will lose your ass. Ratings wise - this really varies - once you get 50 or so events in, you will start to see yourself into the 300's. The transition into PPV orgs has less to do with event ratings and more to do with fighters. I'll explain this part in the next part. The End Game So you are at the stage where the fighters are starting to become some of the highest hype/popped fighters in tycoon. You know that money is becoming tighter and tighter and it is time for the transition into money printer status aka PPV org. The biggest myth in tycoon is that it is best to go with a 1HR PPV first - it isn't. This is swimming in the deep end. You go straight for the big arena (93k) and the 3HR ppv. The Cameras and Commentary you always set as max. You want to funnel in around 1m-1.5m in advertisements - this helps with the org rating and boosts the PPV hype (this is a hidden thing confirmed by Mike previously) You do this in a burst of three events - spaced out one week apart at first. You should put in your best three fights available in the first card - the rest of the order should just be as normal - do not under any circumstances stack the card top to bottom. The second card should include your next best three fights - again the rest of the order should just be as normal You can probably guess what I am going to say for the third one - the exact same again. At this point you should be spitting out cash - the first event is always a loss but you re-coup it in the second event and by the third event you are quite a bit in the profit. This is just my opinion on it - it isn't a fact. I have always seen the way org events work as 1% of the event prior to the previous event, 33% the previous event and 66% the current event. This is why you profit so much off the second event after a big event. You can just continue doing this - if you have to run two events per week then i'd just continue doing it in similar fashion. It doesn't change other than the DR. Ratings - event ratings when setting up to become a PPV org does not matter as much as fighters do. The one biggest mistake a lot of org owners make is valuing hype and p4p status over pop - they are both equally valuable. Herb who is ranked as the #2 P4P fighter in the game is worth less than Sean. You ideally want a 400-500 hype/pop main event or as close to this as humanly possible. A couple of 300 hype/pop guys in the co main and 3rd fight and after that you can use the the usual 200 hype/pop guys. Now you need at least 6 fighters with the average hype/pop rating of 400 before you go into the PPV world. This is becoming more and more difficult now but it was at the time the minimum. Time for the don'ts and why you don't do it. DR - Diminishing returns this depends on the day of the week you run the event and how many events you run. There is a thread somewhere that explains this in detail but the biggest take away is do not run any more than two events per week or you start losing a lot of money because the DR will be close to .5 which is a death nail. Most of the hype etc from your card is the top three fights - the rest of the card doesn't really factor into the profits of the event. It is why it is unwise to stack the deck on the card unless it is a special event (Syn Supernova for example). You do not want to piss people off - it is the biggest sin that most org owners make and it kills their rep. A bad name in this game will follow you about like a bad smell. If someone rejects a fight offer as much as it annoys you try to placate the manager in their request. Org owning is like having a Harem of women who like to have a good bitch if you don't show them some love or attention. Previews and Reviews - Do not for all that is good and holy do this yourself. Shit, I wouldn't even do them period. A much better use of your time if you do want to write is do an org rankings every month so fighters can see their rank and who they need to beat. I guarantee you it will be read more than any preview/review you do with a lot less work. If you are running a big event then yes do it - create some hype on the forums about the event. It is that sort of stuff that gets you noticed. Communication is key - you need to take time to get to know some of the guys in the game because they will be the ones supplying you with fighters. If you show yourself to be a decent enough person then you will more than likely get more business. This is the one area of tycoon which mimics the real world - it isn't what you know, it is who you know that often makes you successful at the top levels. I have blabbered on enough now - if you have any questions then shoot me a PM or you can ask in here. I should probably end it with this and it is a very big cliche - there is no such thing a stupid question when it comes to org owning and asking experienced org owners on tips is always the best way of learning.

  15. LAFC 17 GALLAHAD vs DIAMOND cage interview: Slo Moegan: I'm here in the cage with MAIN EVENT WINNER and STILL champion Auric Gallahad. My man tell me how does it feel to have defended your belt successfully? Auric Gallahad: Everyone give it up to Diamond. Come on we have a big good crowd tonight I want to hear you scream and cheer this man. Alright Slo it feels unbelievable. I mean he is a heavy hitter and we all know I'm grappler first. I mean it was my 12 submission victory. But I love this belt and i don't plan on giving it up easily. Slo Moegan: Speaking of easy you finished this fight in the first round. How easy were you expecting this fight to be and how easy was it? Auric Gallahad: Well Slo honestly I was expecting as soon as this fight went to the ground for that to be it and over so from that aspect of it; it was more difficult than I thought. But I wasn't expecting it to be an easy fight at all. This young man hit hard as f*ck. Sorry about the language. I know that seems weird for me to call him a young man when I'm a year younger than him but he's still young and also young compared in number of fight he was 4-0 coming into this and I was 11-2. Slo Moegan: I know you are now 12-2 at just 21 years of age that is just insane to think about. How has being so active prepared you for fights and has it made it difficult at all to continue to get better being so active. Auric Gallahad: You know Slo it definitely has it's advantages and disadvantages I mean I'm always in fight shape because I'm always training for a fight, but grant it I don't seem to take much damage for fights but I don't get to really heal up and just focus on training. So it has stunted my growth some but when I was on the island at Highland it was basically fight or die. That's something a lot of these guys I face don't understand that yeah I came in here with an extensive proven record and notoriety but island life is tough. If you aren't fighting you literally can't afford to train to fight and if you can't train it makes winning harder. It's a real tough life. So it's prepared me and has a lot to do with the fighter I am today always looking for the win. Slo Moegan: Why don't you look at the screen and walk us through a bit of the fight here. Auric Gallahad: Sure thing. Ok right here is where the ref motioned to begin and right here is the immediate takedown into side control. Now right here I'm going for an armbar and he reverses it and gets side control. I'm thinking I'm in a bit of trouble because it's not a good spot to be in even though unlike a lot of wrestlers because I am so accomplished in bjj I'm comfortable with being on my back. We train with me working from the bottom a couple times a week. I was then surprised that I was able to easily get into half guard and easily into full guard. I almost felt like I could have bridged and got back on top if I wanted to. I failed a triangle here, and then right here I lock in an attempt for an armbar he's grasping his hands to prevent me from extending and I twist right here breaking his grip and extending. And he immediately tapped preventing an injury. I'm happy about that. Slo Moegan: Thank you. GIVE IT UP EVERYBODY FOR YOUR CHAMPION AURIC GALLAHAD!!

  16. ICE 7: IONTACH PREVIEW Welcome all to the preview show for ICE 7 which will be held on December 11th in London at Hayashi's Lounge. You will hear a bit about the fights and my prediction for each of them. And if I'm wrong feel free to have your fighter call my a** out on it. The first fight of the night has newcomer in the 170 pound division, Cestmir Cejka an 18 year old boxer from the Czech Republic taking on London's own Gog Cox 19 year old well rounded 1-0. Cejka is fighting out of the Brioh gym camp in Helsinki. So definitely be looking for this talented young boxer to start rounding out his game. Cox is fighting out London MMA gym and we be looking to show that he even though he is well rounded he still improves everytime he steps into the cage. Prediction: Gog Cox by ground and pound. I just think he is a little too well rounded right now for Cejka. The second fight of the night is a scheduled 265 pound fight between two 18 year old mma veterans Murfum Orcarm 1-1 and Felix Silver 2-0. Orcarm is fighting out Rooster's Coop in Las Vegas. Orcarm appears so far to be looking to use his wrestling to become the next godfather of ground and pound. Silver is a well rounded fighter and striker fighting out Cozad in Hilo. Hopefully he will be looking to get into a better gym soon. One thing is is certain in this one rather its on the feet or ground someone is getting KO'd. Prediction: Orcarm by ground and pound. I think the wrestling is going to be the key in this one. The third fight of the night should be a fight on the main card most nights is another 265 pound brawl between the 25 year old 1-1 Nigerian Ismat Usman and 25 year old 4-1 American Jonny Bravo. Usman is an average wrestler who uses his wrestling in Randy Couture type of way and that is to keep the fight standing to use his boxing. Bravo who uses his incredible boxing to drop his opponents and all wins coming by submission. This has all the makings of one barn burner of a big man fight. Prediction: Flips coin and it's Usman by KO. The fourth fight of the night is a 205 pound fight against 2 18 year old fighters looking to make a name for themselves with a win over the other. Sam Vatubua 1-1 the Samoan wrestling striker and Mister ToYou 2-1 Afghanistan kickboxing sensation. It will be interesting to see if Vatubua plans to use his wrestling in his typical fashion for this one. Prediction: ToYou by KO. The fifth and final fight of the undercard is a 185 pound fight between 2 25 year old fighters that promises to be the classic striker versus grappler battle. The Kickboxer an 0-1 kickboxer from Bulgaria takes on Killian Andrew a 4-1 grappler from Czech Republic. Kickboxer will be looking to utilize his range and get the KO and Andrew will be looking to get this fight to the ground in a hurry. Prediction: Andrew by submission. The sixth fight and first fight on the main card is another 185 pound fight and classic striker versus grappler match but between a 18 and 19 year old fighters. Aidan Hall an 0-1 wrestling striker fighter from Jamaica and Keenan Downing a 2-1 bjj specialist. Hall will be looking to use his wrestling to keep it on the feet and punish Downing into submission and Downing will be looking to take it to the ground any way possible and get the submission. Whoever executes wins this one. Prediction: Hall by KO. The second fight on the main card is a 170 pound fight between 2 25 year old fighters. Jeremy Hiller the American well rounded fighter with 2-0 record proving just that with 1 KO and 1 Submission versus Matt Jackson the striking wrestler with a 0-2 record looking to make both guys 0 go. The smart money would look to be on Hiller given the record but can't count Jackson out. Prediction: Jackson by KO. The third fight on the main card is a 155 pound fight between 2 25 year old combatants. Levi Fleming a 2-2 striker from America against Adalberto Soria a striking grappler from Argentina making his debute. Fleming has every striking trick in the book but how does he fair going against striking bjj brown belt not much is known about time will tell. Prediction: Soria by submission. The Co-Main Event of the eveninnngg is a 135 pound bout between 2 25 year old fighters. We have the Spaniard Juan Heredia an 0-3 kickboxer against Thailand undefeated 2-0-1 Muay Thai fighter Arthit Jitmuangnon. Heredia will be looking to get his first win which won't come easy as Jitmuangnon will be looking to keep his undefeated streak alive the Muay Thai skills to certainly get the job done. Prediction: Jitmuangnon by KO And NOW the MOOOMMENT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAAAIIITTTING FOr the MAIN EVENT OF Thee EVENING a 185 pound fight between 2 25 year old American fighters Nick Jackson the 1-0 grappler versus Booker Tillman 1-1 true MMA fighter about as well rounded as they come. Jackson has that D-1 wrestling talent to go with purple belt in bjj will be looking to take this fight to the ground and get the submission or win by ground and pound and certainly has the wrestling to do just that. Tillman will be looking to defend the takedowns and work the striking game from a distance in this one but is no slouch on the ground himself. Prediction: And STILL undefeated Jackson by ground and pound.

  20. starting an org is MUCH LESS about money these days, and more about relations/connections/supply and demand. If you make a 380K org, you're competing with a dozen other 380K orgs, and reality is that at least 90% of them will fold. There might be 2 that are left standing. Usually a 3rd lingers around for a bit before folding and merging into one of those 2. Org business, as appealing as it is to the new users who likely join the game to be Dana White and create their own org, unfortunately, you're damn near doomed if you try to jump in on day 1. Swimming up schitz creek is a nice way to put it. tycoon is due for a very advanced org owner tutorial... think most noobs should try to attach to one of the orgs that are already up and running. try that out for a few weeks. Try sending out some contracts. get a feel for the FA landscape you think you're fishing in. if you are like biro and you still enjoy it after a few weeks, then you might be a good fit for an org owner.
