Hey Stryder are you going to sell that black & white one you posted over on Discord? Was planning on buying it if so.

I have an idea, maybe you can help me shape it.

I have actually been playing around with something similar at SSD and love the idea. I even offered 1 day inactivity clause contracts to any fighter that wants to compete in our Open-weight division on Buzz(zero takers). I also reached out to a few orgs and reached an agreement to lend fighters back and forth as they wish. I encourage our fighters to decline fights even if they just don't 'like' it. I don't own the org, and so don't have complete control, but I think what you're talking about would be my next step in what I'm looking to do. I want to create an org where fighters can kind of govern themselves. They can be lent to other orgs, come and go as they want, participate in QFC's, grappling, etc. The hardest part about it is governing ID's, unless you just make it open ID, and also relying on the fighters/managers to find fights/recruit. Lastly, also, it will be pretty tough scheduling cards. This is a kind of org I'd enjoy my fighters being in, so I'd like to make it happen also and I think it would be fun in the game. -
Nice, submitting now

Yeah... just got hit with one of these too.

That a done deal on #15?

I can't possibly IMAGINE who THIS would be in reference to... Hahaha

Haha I mean let's be honest, without multis we'd be lucky to be breaking 300k
-
I mean, once you're at the top, you can always create a multi, test them there, then just drop them and pick them up under your main account. Right? There's way too many holes in this game. I genuinely enjoy it and wish everyone would just play it as what it is meant to be.

You should base it in NYC and consider it Miami. Just label every event Whatever: Miami and you're good. I mean, in my eyes, NYC covers the east coast of the US.

There really are oddly new managers pretty often, I've spoken to several. It's one of the reasons I hate the idea of 'test fights' in an org instead of just doing a QFC or QFC tourney. Those are perfect opportunities for a new manager to get a win with a fresh 25 y/o. Instead, people lose to themselves. I understand the benefit in doing that, but it most definitely does not benefit the game as a whole.
-
I don't disagree, as I think we lose many potential new managers during the times of inactivity.

The question is whether you'd want these large spurts of activity. If everything was date-based, it would likely be steadier, but there would be no big 400k event. I'm fine with either, personally. There might be a bit of preference there, though.

Pretty sure it's Johnny the Gunt (#143986), same username and he said he was going to join this tourney.

That's how I feel. Like if I'm gonna lose big, I'm gonna lose BIG. Gotta have fun with it. I kind of posted that more as a warning to any newer managers that might not fully understand the format of the tournament. Even if your fighter is badass, in a tournament like this, 0-13 is a very real possibility.
