"Sheik" Hossein Vaziri Jr.

Atila Hun, on November 28th in Los Angeles, I will show the world that you are nothing but a punk. Every time I go to Los Angeles, the intelligent American MMA fans respect the Sheik. They welcome me and chant my name: "Sheik! Sheik! Sheik!" just like the women who come back to my hotel room. But the fattest and stupidest fight fans, the kind who probably like you, they chant "USA! USA! USA!" They try to upset the Sheik and get me off my game, but this is impossible. I am the best fighter in the world. I have the best physique. I have the best technique. And most importantly I am the most intelligent. I am going to slap you around like the doctor did when you were born. And what are you going to do about it? Nothing, because you are a punk!

"The Killer" Virgil Morgan

My manager is glad to finally have a fighter in Gamma he told me. He wants to have as many fighters in top orgs as possible.

I might no longer be the highest skilled, the fastest, the strongest,... but I am very motivated to make things work out and a motivated Virgil Morgan is a dangerous opponent for anyone. I'll have a tough opponent ahead of me, but I don't care. I'll fight anyone they throw at me.

GAMMA' had another very solid month, we increased our total fighters base in the top 1000 to 88 (which is 18 fighters more than second placed CEC! 8 of those fighters are in our affiliate organizations at the moment). We also increased our total fighters in the top 200 p4p to 21 which is our own personal record. It is a grinding process to the top, but despite the constant animosity and disrespect among some of the competition, our rise is a stable procedure at the moment.

145lbs title picture.

Fernando Prado defended his title against Karate Kid during the past month in yet another decision win. A potential rematch with Nylerhotep Constantine is highly unlikely at the moment due to Nyler's poor form since winning the 155lbs title. He went 1-3 since that win a few months ago. Fernando will go up against Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in December. Abu is on some good form himself after beating ex-Champs Meat Beater and Ein Stein in 2 close split decisions. Steffan Stove, Jack Burton and Yuya Shimizu are 3 major signings for GAMMA at 145lbs over the past month which should add to the drama we have in the division.

155lbs

Timofey Boyko's transition to 155lbs proved to be successful after beating Nylerhotep Constantine in impressive fashion via strikes. He is hoping to become the 3rd fighter in history to hold a 155lbs and 145lbs title after Diego Sanchez and Fernando Prado previously achieved this feat. Krystian "Wojna" Wojnasiewicz has returned to great form to regain the title and is currently riding a 5 fight winning streak. He will be fighting Timofey Boyko next. Julio Sobral, Puukko Bulevardi are the 2 major signings in this division for the past month ranked in the top 1000.

170lbs

According to the forums Arthur Pinto is now the biggest prospect in the game and who is going to argue? The guy is still 24y old and is on a 15-0 streak and current 170lbs world GAMMA champion. He beat arguably the best 170lbs fighter in history, a 40y old Renan St Juste to win the title and will be defending his belt against Rufus McTearson, which is on a 3 fight win streak.

185lbs

This division has a lot of new faces as of late starting with the main new face which is current 185lbs champion Hugues De Payens! He beat ex-champ Virgil Keller via a decision last month and is 6-0 in his recent fights. Jeffrey Sarpong is a SFC multiple champ himself and currently a top 100 p4p ranking fighter which is fighting Hektor Troy in what should be the top contender fight. Their fight is probably the highest ranking top contender fight in history between 2 fighters in the top 85 p4p. Viv Richards is on an impressive run himself going 4-0. Leopold Stotch, Bon Aqua, Scott Fleming are all significant recent additions to the roster.

205lbs

Gunnar Gustavsson was on an impressive 7-0 run until losing his super fight against Almu Tantor. HE will be hoping to stop the run of Lars Voller which is 6-0 himself in recent fights. Ricard Cuenca is hoping that the move to 205lbs will prove fruitful as he has fallen out of the sky since losing his 185lbs title a few months ago. Kurko Tyrma, Nero "La Bestia" Padilla are the 2 main new additions to the roster over the past month.

265 and 265+lbs

Gunnar Steigelmann is continuing his run as the dominant 265lbs champ after beating Lan Mandragon and Fat Gorilla (both 2nd time). He is on path to erase the cut loss to Chick Bowdrie. His next fight will be up against veteran ex-265lbs champion Rau Utu, which is currently under new management. He is hoping his recent nutrition diet which lead to him cutting down a lot of weight will play a role in his revival.

Tony Slevin is riding a fantastic run in GAMMA and is 9-1 in his recent run. His only loss he had against Tamias Poochyena and he avenged that loss last month via a Punch KO to defend his title. It seems sparring with Patrick Bateman (ex-265lbs champ), has helped him in his current run. He will be fighting Duke "Doomsday" Nukem which is 10-0 at the moment in his last 10 fights. Duke is just 26y of age, so a win will make him our youngest ever HW or SHW champion together with Fat Gorilla (which was about the same age when he beat Kenichi Shirahama)

Other news

Stanley Burrell Rising the ranks

When we resigned ex-170lbs champ it was suppose to be for a few last fights before retiring. It was unexpected that Stanley Burrell would go on a 5 fight winning streak! If he can beat Will Dearborn it should put him 1 fight away from achieving his ultimate goal and be offered a new title shot.

Willy Wonka record

Willy has broken the all time Submission record with 9 leaving John Heartman (8) Jimmy Snuka (8) Frank Sinatra (8) all behind. He also has some juice left in him at 35y, so we should still see a few more of those from him. Jimmy is the only active fighter which can compete for the record. Willy will also be joining the "30s" club pretty soon as he is currently with 29 pro fights in GAMMA. Only 17 other fighters can claim to be part of the same club. All those fighters are currently in the GAMMA HOF or will be inducted soon, so this gives you a pretty good idea where Willy will end up.

GREEN!160 ending sponsorship

GREEN!160 has been inactive for some time, so we will be signing a new deal with a new merchandise partner this weekend. We are considering the options now.

Writer

GAMMA is still looking for a full time writer for event write ups. The pay is obviously ultra lucrative, so if you are interested in writing and want to do some work for the best org in the game, this is your chance.

We would like to announce that GAMMA has a new official sponsor, effective as of today. The new sponsor is MayheM sportswear which is currently one of the highest ranking clothing stores in the world.

We would also like to thank our previous sponsor Green160! which was our sponsor from March 2014 till December 2015. They had a very good run and we was proud that they were announced as Nutrition company of the year last year. We wish them luck in the future.

Every year GAMMA has it's annual awards for best fighters, something we have been holding since our creation in 2009. The previous awards were as follows:

Fighter of the Year 2009
1st Mikhail Yudovich
2nd Nikon Holm
3rd Lennon Lewis

Fighter of the Year 2010
1st Raz Matazz
2nd Alexander Khalifman
3rd Mikhail Yudovich

Fighter of the Year 2011
1st Jeremy Tonal
2nd Trent Pope
3rd Karl Denke

Fighter of the Year 2012
1st Anton Chigurh
2nd Jeremy Tonal
3rd Raz Matazz

Fighter of the Year 2013
1st Renan St Juste
2nd Simon Williams
3rd Keith Green

Fighter of the Year 2014
1st Jesse Custer (183716)
2nd Russ Rutger (62373)
3rd Ein Stein (182566)

In our history only one fighter has made it to the top 3 in 2 different years (Raz Matazz achieved this in 2010 and 2012), but this year that record could be repeated.

I have decided that for this year there will be specific criteria for rating the performance of each fighter. The rating will work as follows:

We will only be considering fighters which won a title during the year.
+3 points for a win,
+1 point for a draw,
+1 point if the fight was a title fight or super fight (between other orgs),
-3 points for a loss.
-In the case of a draw we take into consideration finishes.
-In the case there is a draw again, we take into consideration total fights in GAMMA.

Note: We do not count fights which took place outside of GAMMA, unless it was a super fight and the fighter was fighting under the GAMMA banner.

This way it makes the rankings more objective. As of December 08, the top 10 ranked fighters are (in random order):

Renan St Juste (102580)
Arthur Curry (92326)
Hektor Troy (160259)
Ein Stein (182566)
Patrick Bateman (180187)
Fernando Prado (181926)
Gunnar Gustavsson (134470)
Krystian Wojnasiewicz (159688)
Gunnar Steigelmann (196145)
Tamias Poochyena (135965)

Among the above, the only fighters which have a fight booked in 2015 are:

Patrick Bateman
Gunnar Gustavsson
Hektor Troy
Fernando Prado
Krystian Wojnasiewicz

So the final standings could still alter depending on if people win or lose their fights in the upcoming weeks. I have to say that the standings are VERY close, there is just a few points difference between the top 5 at the moment.

With the last event of the year now over, we have the final standing for the best fighter of the year. To remind everyone, awards are based upon the following criteria:

+3 points for a win.
+1 point for a draw.
+1 point if the fight was a title fight or super fight (between other orgs).

Note: In the case there is a draw, we take into consideration total fights in GAMMA during the year (the fewer fights you achieved the total points score the better)
-In the case of a draw again (highly unlikely) we take into consideration finishes.

Based upon that criteria, here is the final standing for the year (Top 10):

Renan St Juste (102580) = 37 pts
Krystian "Wojna" Wojnasiewicz (159688) = 35 pts
Ein Stein (182566) = 30 pts (13 fights)
Gunnar Steigelmann (196145) = 30 pts (15 fights)
Fernando Prado (181926) = 29 pts
Patrick Bateman (180187) = 29 pts
Tamias Poochyena (135965) = 27 pts
Arthur Curry (92326) = 25 pts
Gunnar Gustavsson (134470) = 24 pts
Hektor Troy (160259) = 24 pts

This means that Renan St Juste wins his second fighter of the year award after finishing 1st in 2013! Ein Stein achieved 3rd place for the second year in a row, he was joint 3rd together with Gunnar Steigelmann based upon total fights.

Arguably Fernando Prado could had secured the #1 spot, but he only started fighting for us in May, so he did not have time to cover the difference. 2016 looks to be his year though.

GAMMA' had another very solid month, we increased our total fighters base in the top 1000 to 94 (84 are in GAMMA, 1 is at another org for a super fight, 9 of those fighters are in our rookie affiliate organizations at the moment). This is an increase of 6 fighters (or almost 7%) since last month!

145lbs Division

Fernando Prado defended his title Ein Stein and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi during the past month essentially clearing out the division. Fernando is on a ridiculous 19-1 run at the moment and is one of the hottest names in MMA at just 29y of age. A massive super fight is up next for this top 10 ranking fighter with several of the biggest names out there interested in taking his scalp. Some of the names being tooted are "The Hellraiser" Henrik Torhammer and Eliah "The Black Assassin" Marshal, both known premier fighters. Lets wait and see what the future holds.

155lbs Division

Krystian "Wojna" Wojnasiewicz has had a frustrating month after making it 6 straight wins with Timofey Boyko being his latest victim via unanimous decision. Krystian was suppose to fight current #1 ranked fighter and Olympic 155lbs winner Donny Donowitz, however the world champ is stalling negotiations. The fight is expected to take place in January though.

Some of the major additions to this division are Afa Sila and Eka Tahuna. Eka is already booked to fight against Sobral in a fight which should put him close to contention and Afa is still waiting for his opportunity on the sidelines. Both fighters have potential though and should be pushing Krystian for the title in the near future.

170lbs Division

The two big stories for this division in the past month is Arthur Pinto's unexpected loss to Rufus McTearson and then him going on hiatus. He has not been seen in MMA for the past month. Rufus then lost the title straight away to the now 6 time 170lbs champion Renan St Juste! Renan's chin will be tested against Galloway Sackett which is a rookie on a mission at the moment, riding a 9 fight winning streak and a graduate of the GAMMA: Contender affiliate network. He beat veteran Hell Rose in his first fight and is now pushing Renan for the title.

185lbs Division

This title picture changes more often than most people change their underwear. It is also our deepest division with 6 fighters inside the top 200 p4p. Viv Richards is the latest 185lbs champion, but the way this division has been going in recent months, he will probably struggle to keep onto this title for long. The last fighter to hold the title for more than 2 defenses was Arthur Curry and that was in April last year. Since then the title has changed hands a ridiculous 7 times, which is a record for a top level org in the past 2-3 years.

Scotty Bennet has decided to come back to the org he held the 205lbs title after participating in the Olympic games. He had a good run in TTFC winning the title there and hopes to end his career on a high.

205lbs Division

Gunnar Gustavsson is still the 205lbs champ after defending against Lars Voller. His next opponent is veteran Nero Padilla which is 2-0 in GAMMA since joining. Nero will be hoping that his success from CCF will translate to similar success in GAMMA and so far he has not backed down.

Pertti Silsa, Never More and Alexander Emelianenko and the most significant signings for the 205lbs division over the past 1 month, all ranked inside the top 400 p4p.

265 and 265+lbs Divisions

Gunnar Steigelmann moved down from 265lbs after losing the title to Rau Utu and found himself as the highest ranking fighter and got an immediate title shot against Tony Slevin which he took straight away winning by KO. He faces Julien "The French Psychopath" Touret which is on a 4 fight winning streak himself.

Old boy Rau Utu will be fighting long time GAMMA veteran and 265lbs champ Patrick Bateman which has managed to regain his championship form once again.

The most significant addition to the roster is Keijo Harkimo which switched camps from CEC.

Other news

Timofey Boyko

Timofey Boyko will be retiring after completing his last fight, with a potential HOF induction to follow later on in this year.

Jt Colossus Record

Jt has surpassed the 50 fight mark at the age of 45! This old school veteran also holds the record for most total KO's with 26 at the moment.

Renan St Juste

Is a 6 time 170lbs champion! I think this is a record which will unlikely ever been beat in a top level org unless you try to fabricate it some way. Not enough can be said about this 40y old veteran which is still yet to be KOed after 73 professional fights! Possibly the best chin in history.

The Hall of Fame (HOF) is the ultimate reward for any fighter and GAMMA has the largest HOF in the game. To induct a fighter into the HOF an org needs to run at least 10 events, which means on average just 5 fighters per year for most orgs. We currently have 52 fighters in our Hall of Fame. Due to us virtually reaching our cap and there being a LOT of legitimate candidates, we will now be considering fighters still actively fighting, if they meet the criteria, so basically we will select who we feel is currently most worthy of this honor at this current time based upon specific criteria.

When considering which fighters will make it to our Hall of Fame we look at several factors. The factors we look into are things such as how long they were fighting in GAMMA, wins, Fight of the night awards, total headlined events, maximum rank, title fights and defences, major wins as well as several other lesser factors.
Probably the biggest factor from this list is total fights. We would rarely consider a fighter, irrelevant on how great his run in the org was if they had fewer than 10 fights in total, where as a fighter which had 30 or more fights would almost instantly make it, unless they had an extremely poor record inside the org (which is unlikely because if they did he would not fight in GAMMA for +30 fights!).

The front runners to make it to our our Hall of Fame at the moment are:

Lan Mandragoran (169650)
Jimmy Snuka (159898)
Diego Sanchez (142862)
Jesse Custer (183716)
Atte Peltola (177978)
Willy Wonka (159900)
Ein Stein (182566)
Tamias Poochyena (135965)
Chris Webster (52145)
Charlie Murphy (152460)
Meat Beater (174503)
Cole River (165545)
Evander Holyshit (76174)
Ender Wiggin (80914)
Johnny Victorio (84638)
Kris Hong (204017)
Phil Davis (65372)
Pierre Trudeau (113658)
Timofey Boyko (151666)
Charles LaFontier (173319)
Yeshua Immanuel (123742)

Note: Only one fighter will be inducted to our HOF next week.

GAMMA #532 Gunnar v Padilla Main card REVIEW - 1.16.2016

Yorick “The Last Man” Brown (31-15,12-7 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS “Quoth the Raven” Never More (17-8, 1-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Light Heavyweight (205)

Both of these veteran fighters came into this Light Heavyweight bout with their eyes on an impressive victory and moving up in a talented division. As two stand-up specialists, going in, we had every right to anticipate that some blood would be shed in this match. Gale Hawthorne’s “The Last Man”, a GAMMA stalwart, showed why he remains a factor in the world’s premier fight organization with an impressive K.O. victory over the man represented by fellow L.O.D. alliance counterpart Never More, managed by Nero Wolfe. More never really got it going in this bout, as he was cut in the early seconds and was overall simply overwhelmed by Brown. A knockdown followed by a thunderous superman punch spelled victory for “The Last Man”. It was Brown’s second victory in a row by K.O., and we have to wonder whether he will be considered for a title match in the future. More will look to rebound after this unfortunate outing.

RESULT: Brown def. More via K.O. (Superman Punch) in the 1st Round (1:37)

Ray “The Raven” Lewis (25-8,8-3 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS “The Gilead Gunslinger” Will Dearborn (24-11, 3-1 GAMMA) [The Devil’s Rejects] Welterweight (170)

Another star-studded fight took place next, where “The Raven” a once and future title contender in GAMMA’s Welterweight division, took on “The Gilead Gunslinger” Will Dearborn, who came into this bout having won all three of his fights in GAMMA. In a true instant classic, Lewis, who is represented by GSP’s Illegitimate Son, and Dearborn, who is Big Boss’ man, split the first two rounds in a back and forth contest that saw these combatants standing and throwing. In the third round, Lewis was able to separate himself, if only just, with a clutch head-kick that nearly ended Dearborn’s night early. Dearborn showed true toughness in order to stay on his feet and finish the fight. After earning the split decision victory, Lewis thanked the fans, to raucous cheers from the Las Vegas audience. As bitterly disappointed as Dearborn may be, we have to think that this is probably not the final time we will see these two duke it out!

RESULT: Lewis def. Dearborn via Split Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Attilla “THE” Hun (16-5, 4-2 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “The Meatgrinder” Pertti Silsa (24-13-1, 0-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Light Heavyweight (205)

GSP’s Illegitimate Son had his second representative here in this fight, as Hun took on the GAMMA newcomer, Pertti Silsa, represented by Jake LeBeau. Hun came out confident that he could out-strike “The Meatgrinder”, a surprising tactic since Silsa had won his previous five fights all by knockout. Hun was not intimidated, however, and he not only out boxed Silsa, but took him to the ground twice in the match as well, earning himself a title fight as a result of his third consecutive victory. It was not the debut match that Silsa was dreaming of, however, he has plenty of time to recuperate, and a victory in his next match should land him near the top of the card, where he seems destined to be.

RESULT: Hun def. Silsa via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Hektor Troy (38-20-1, 11-4-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Jeffrey Sarpong (26-9-2, 0-1-1 GAMMA) Middleweight (185)

This highly anticipated rematch between Troy and Sarpong, one a representative of Gerbert Bryant, the other of Brent Sutterr, saw two Middleweights each vying for victory after an unsatisfying draw capped off their last bout, with the judges unable to decide who the better man was. Fortunately for all of us curious folks out there, GAMMA got them so that they could settle the score. Although Sarpong was successful occasionally when he tried to take Troy to the ground, working for a submission finish to the fight, the former Champion was simply too much for Sarpong to handle. Kicks landed voraciously from Troy, who, despite being taken down twice in the fight, never seemed uncomfortable. Sarpong was impressive enough to warrant consideration in the division, though; not many people can claim to have held with a former GAMMA champ as closely as Sarpong did, and I imagine we will see Sarpong again soon. Both men will enjoy their fight of the night bonuses, well earned.

RESULT: Troy def. Sarpong via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Gunnar “Knoke Stovkost” Gustavsson © (31-8, 8-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Nero “La Bestia” Padilla (26-12, 2-1 GAMMA) [Elite Punishment Inc.] Light Heavyweight (205) CHAMPIONSHIP

In our main event, we saw the reigning champion, Gunnar Gustavsson taking on a new challenger, Nero Padilla. Padilla came into this match with quite the pedigree, winning his previous two fights against terrifically challenging competitors, and he came in with no fear as he took on the seemingly unstoppable Gustavsson. Legendary manager Whymer von Mastadon has all the confidence in the world in his man Gunnar, and Gunnar showed him why against Louis Princip’s aspiring champion Padilla. After a closely contested first round, it looked as though, even as he was bleeding, and had suffered tremendous damage from a head kick, he had the chance to shock the world here tonight. Gustavsson, however, would not be denied his title defense, as he countered the busier Padilla with strong, painful shots and cut him once more before a counter right hand sent Padilla to the floor in what was our K.O. of the night. Gunnar continues to show why he is the crown jewel of the light heavyweight division, though Padilla has all the makings of a future champion here in GAMMA.

RESULT: Gustavsson © def. Padilla via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 2nd Round (4:51)

GAMMA #533 -- Utu v Bateman REVIEW -- 1.16.16 -- London, England, U.K.

“The Worlds Most Dangerous” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (19-11, 6-5 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Russian “The Undead” Zombie (15-6, 6-2 GAMMA) [Qlimax] Featherweight (145)

Longtime L.O.D. manager GSP’s Illegitimate Son sent one of his top combatants to the cage to start off this main card tonight, as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi took on Bobby Heyman’s Zombie. Both of these men are finishers, and it seemed the likeliest scenario that one of them would end up finishing the other before the end of the match. Nobody would have guessed that this one wouldn’t even last a minute, as “The Undead” came straight out of the gate throwing combos. It seemed as though al-Baghdadi was simply overwhelmed by the aggressiveness on display from his opponent, as a powerful right followed by a flurry of strikes on the ground and this one was over. A disappointing showing from a man who was not long ago a title contender; however, on the other hand, Zombie has catapulted up the rankings and we could see him standing opposite the champion soon!

RESULT: Zombie def. al-Baghdadi via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (0:26)

Timofey “Beast” Boyko (39-17-1, 14-5 GAMMA) [Convicted Inc.] VS. Napoleon Dynamite (26-18-2, 5-5 GAMMA) [FinnFighters] Lightweight (155)

A GAMMA former champion -- and perhaps hall of famer when it’s all said and done -- Klatz Matz’s 37 year old “Beast” came to GAMMA #533 ready to show why he’s been in the game so long. Christian Fager’s fighter wasn’t going to let Boyko roll over him, as Dynamite came in riding a two fight winning streak and was looking to make it three. Boyko knows the formula for a win, as he closes in on his 40th career victory, as his knees were damaging Dynamite all night long. The Belorussian Muay Thai expert put on a clinic in this one, cutting Dynamite in the 2nd round and almost finishing him a few minutes later. Dynamite was not one to give up, and showed tremendous toughness to hang in with someone the caliber of Boyko until the third round, when the knees were just too much. After being a champion at 145, and having made his second straight victory at 155, Boyko may be a realistic championship contender at Lightweight soon enough.

RESULT: Boyko def. Dynamite via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 3rd Round (3:25)

“The Power” Willy Stoppers (47-21, 12-7 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Lars Voller (28-15, 8-4 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Light Heavyweight (205)

Two men near the top of the Light Heavyweight division, this one saw Mentor Corleone’s Stoppers, who is a former champion at 205, against Rabid Alien’s Lars Voller, who saw, last year, an 8-fight win streak come to an end with a title match loss. Voller went to work in the clinch right away, throwing an elbow that cut Stoppers open. Voller looked dominant after the 1st, and looked as though he might embark on a new winning streak, starting with Stoppers. The 2nd round was a brutal chess-match, with each fighter throwing and countering until Stoppers caught Voller with an overhand right that would have sent anyone spiraling to the floor. A few more punches to finish the job and Stoppers had overcome a rough 1st round to win the match. Both men’s willingness to absorb punches and throw at each other earned them the fight of the night honors.

RESULT: Stoppers def. Voller via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 2nd Round (4:12)

Oscar Boma (20-4, 6-2 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Josiah “the Spaceman” Bartlet (20-9-2, 6-3 GAMMA) [Ontario Dudes Club] Lightweight (155)

In another battle of title contenders, Cause McDubree’s “Spaceman” came to bat against Alika Webb’s Boma. Both of these exciting fighter know better than to let a match go to the judges, so the pace was up immediately. “The Spaceman” came out looking for control against Boma, and was controlling the movement initially. Against a dangerous man like Boma, however, you cannot give him even an inch. A combination punch sent Bartlet down initially, while Boma beckoned him back up to unleash more fury upon him. Gutsy move by Bartlet, as he never backs down from a challenge, but he had absorbed too much damage by then to put up much of a fight, as a head kick nearly removed his head from his shoulders. Boma, for his efforts, has earned himself a title fight, as well as his third in a row K.O. victory.

RESULT: Boma def. Bartlet via K.O. (Head Kick) in the 1st Round (1:29)

“ol man” Rau Utu (22-12, 4-3 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “American Psycho” Patrick Bateman © (35-16, 13-7 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Heavyweight (265) CHAMPIONSHIP

In our main event, the Rabid Alien represented Rau Utu took on Digga Dogman’s “American Pyscho” for the GAMMA Heavyweight Championship. Utu and Bateman clearly understood what it meant to be in the main even for the biggest MMA promotion in the world, as they sought to entertain the fans here with this exciting contest. Once Bateman caught Utu with a shot, Utu started bleeding like a stuck pig. He kept coming forward, though, as a true warrior would, even though he simply couldn’t get it going against the champion. A beauty of a spinning back fist dropped “ol man” to the mat, and that was all she wrote for this one. Bateman earned K.O. of the night honors for his victory, while “ol man” was released by Rabid Alien post-match. It may be fair to wonder whether we will see Utu again in MMA, or whether this was his swan song.

RESULT: Bateman © def. Utu via K.O. (Spinning Back Fist) in the 1st Round (1:30)

GAMMA #534 - REVIEW - January 23rd, 2016 - Los Angeles, California - L.A. Memorial Collosuseum

Stelio “The Greek” Kontos (12-4, 1-0 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Hossein Vaziri, Jr. (26-9-1, 1-2 GAMMA) [Five Points Gang] Light Heavyweight (205)

Our first fight on the main card saw GAMMA newcomer Stelio Kontos, who is represented by Hans Ulrich Krafft, taking on the veteran, Iranian fighter Hossein Vaziri, Jr., a fighter under the tutelage of Aleksey Igorievich. “The Greek” came in to this one riding a five fight winning streak dating back to August of 2015, whereas Vaziri was coming off of his first GAMMA victory. Vaziri came out willing to stand, but countered with some takedowns, playing to the strength of his wrestling. Unfortunately for him, the young Greek phenom was able to keep this fight standing, where he got the better of Vaziri from start to finish. Body shots and head shots combined to impress the judges, as Kontos took this one and extended his streak to six consecutive victories. Vaziri will need a victory in his next bout if he wants to make some progress in a star-studded division.

RESULT: Kontos def. Vaziri via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Agent 47 “Hitman” (15-6, 2-2 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “Rip” Rufus McTearson (29-13-2, 12-8-2 GAMMA) [Milwaukee’s Best] Welterweight (170)

Agent 47, a relatively new signature of legendary manager Mentor Corleone, took on the former champion and a longtime GAMMA competitor in McTearson, one of Don Jaehnke’s fighters. McTearson knows what it takes to be at the top of this division, and he came in with a chip on his shoulder, seeing the man who took the title from him at the top of the card. “Hitman” sensed the emotion in his opponent early, and took McTearson to the ground in order to grind out a victory. McTearson came back, however, and kept it standing in the 2nd, landing some hard shots on 47. It was after a huge hook landed in that round that 47 was forced to come back out in the 3rd still feeling the impact, and “Rip” capitalized, putting 47 out with a huge straight shot that would have felled even the most ferocious fighter. McTearson will look to capture gold once again, while 47 is left to look for a rebound victory in the next one out.

RESULT: McTearson def. 47 via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 3rd Round (0:10)

Kira “Gaijin” Miyata (21-12, 5-4 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Karate Kid (28-8, 6-2 GAMMA) [The Money Team!!!] Featherweight (145)

Alika Webb’s “Gaijin” came in to this one looking to avenge a previous loss against Kevin Johnson’s Karate Kid. A close 1st round saw the fight stop momentarily, as an incidental kick from Kid landed in the “Gaijin’s” groin. The 2nd saw the second takedown from Miyata, and it became clear that, if he was going to win this one, it would be by his excellent grappling ability. Entering the 3rd, this one could have gone either way, and it looked as though Miyata might get his vengeance after all. Miyata took Kid to the mat, but could not land any punishment, as the referee was forced to stand the combatants up. Leg kicks and counter shot from Kid may have won him the match, as the judges gave it to him in a majority decision. Kid has earned himself a shot at gold, but don’t be surprised if Miyata comes back for him soon.

RESULT: Kid def. Miyata via Majority Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Keijo Harkimo (33-21, 2-0 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Convicted Killer (23-10, 7-4 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Super Heavyweight (265+)

Two big boys fighting under the same alliance banner came in to this one looking for a huge victory, as Nero Wolfe’s Harkimo came in seeking to stay undefeated in GAMMA, but faced stiff competition in Jd Chilltown’s Killer, who had been riding a four fight K.O. streak. Killer came out establishing himself as the aggressor in this one, but Harkimo cut Killer early in this one. This shook Killer, as Harkimo took control after that cut and never lost it. Powerful body kicks and punches had Killer on his heels, before another hook from Harkimo opened up his cut even more. A huge uppercut but Killer on his back and ended this one early, as well as drawing Killer’s winning streak to a close. This one earned the K.O. of the night bonus for Harkimo, and he will look to take that momentum with him in to his next bout. Killer is still a force in this division, so it is incredibly likely that we will see more out of him soon.

RESULT: Harkimo def. Killer via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (3:36)

Renan St. Juste © (55-17-2 1 NC , 33-13-2, 1 NC GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Galloway Sackett (13-4, 1-1 GAMMA) [The Broken Halo Pride] Welterweight (170) CHAMPIONSHIP

One of the greatest fighters in the history of this sport, Gale Hawthorne’s golden boy Renan St. Juste, came in to this one against the relatively unknown young man, Barnabas Sackett’s man, Galloway Sackett. St. Juste, the former #1 pound for pound and a living legend in mixed martial arts, proved himself a fighting champion once again, taking on a man who came in to this one with 9 straight wins. Sackett got to work right away, showing he was not intimidated by opening a very nasty cut on St. Juste, pounding him with strikes through the first three rounds, before St. Juste caught Sackett and rocked him. The young challenger was put on his heels, as he was able to make Sackett miss more than hit, even despite the young man’s impressive athleticism. St. Juste is a beauty to watch, as he recovered from the rough first set of rounds into a trademark St. Juste performance, landing with hard shots while being impossible to hit. At the end, it truly could have gone either way, which is a great of a compliment to Sackett as you can give. Our main event and fight of the night certainly did not disappoint, and GAMMA fans worldwide will be eagerly awaiting a rematch between these two in the future!

RESULT: St. Juste def. Sackett via Majority Decision in the 5th Round (5:00)

Personal review:

When looking at the best fighters ever, longevity certainly plays a massive role. It is not surprising that fighters such as Raz Matazz, Frank Sinatra, Jt Colossus, Jack Burton are also the top 5 fighters in total fights currently in the HOF. Among those fighters, Frank and Jt had just short title runs. Raz on the other hand, had a ridiculously successful start to his GAMMA career (going 18-0 at the time), so he combined longevity together with greatness.

Jeremy Tonal and Alan Bundy were 2 fighters which made the top 5 while having relatively fewer fights, but had VERY successful runs as champs as well as Super fight wins. On a "per fight" basis, Jeremy would rank #1 for sure, but since this is a total points Raz wins it.

It will be interesting to see how high up this list Renan St Juste and some of the current GAMMA super stars will rank when they eventually retire.

GAMMA #535 - Gunnar V Touret - January 30th, 2016, - Los Angeles, California, LA

Memorial Colosuseum

Fat Gorilla (20-13, 13-9 GAMMA) [None] VS. Jon “Bones” Pegas (38-28, 6-3 GAMMA)

[Valhalla] Super Heavyweight (265+)

In the first bout of the main card, Igor Psycho’s Fat Gorilla went head to head against John Bravo’s “Bones” here in a Super Heavyweight throwdown. Gorilla, a GAMMA regular, was eager to continue his winning ways, having won his previous fight by

T.K.O., where as “Bones” was trying to get back in to the winner’s circle after a disappointing loss to Patrick Bateman in his last time out. gorilla would not have it, as the man who has grown up in the GAMMA cage showed why he is one of its favorite
sons, as he cut “Bones” on the first punch of the match before thoroughly controlling the entire two minutes of fighting with his striking. An uppercut was the capstone on a nice victory, sending “Bones” down for the count.

RESULT: Gorilla def. Pegas via K.O. (Punch) in the 1st Round (2:27)

Bobby “The Black Knight” Bishop (28-13-1, 5-4 GAMMA) [Ontario Dudes Club] VS. Leopold

“Professor Chaos” Stoch (28-17, 3-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Middleweight (185)

Cause McDubree’s “Black Knight” was up next against “Professor Chaos”, who is represented by Nero Wolfe. Stotch got out of the gates quickly against his opponent, striking with him the whole way, and landing more shots over the course of the first two rounds. Towards the end of the 2nd, however, Bishop came alive, and, perhaps knowing that he needed a finish to end up with the victory, controlled the 3rd round, looking like the man with more fire. It was too little, too late, however, and Stotch’s hand was raised in victory.

RESULT: Stotch def. Bishop via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Jax “Scarslutje” Teller (38-19, 10-3 GAMMA) [Valhall] VS. Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez

(45-22-2, 18-9 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom]

Middleweight (185)

Jax Teller, represented by John Bravo, and Diego Sanchez, represented by Gale

Hawthorne, came in to this one looking to get back in to title contention. Both are former champions, and jewels in the Middleweight division here for GAMMA, and seeing these two finally cross paths was a thrill for the fans. The 1st round saw Teller landing being the aggressor, but not being able to hurt Sanchez. The 2nd round was the opposite, where Teller was the slippery combatant moving away from Sanchez’s attempts to take control. The 3rd was were Teller finally was able to hold Sanchez down in the clinch and land some nasty shots, giving him the edge on the scorecards and earning himself another title shot. I know that we haven’t seen the last of Sanchez, however.

RESULT: Teller def. Sanchez via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round

(5:00)

“I want to vomit” Scotty Bennet (42-13, 8-8 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “The

Worshipful Master” Hugues De Paynes (32-8, 1-2 GAMMA) [The

Broken Halo Pride] Middleweight (185)

A living legend and former #1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter, represented by Mentor Corleone, Scotty Bennet has perhaps seen the best of his career pass by him, but for someone of his skill that still makes him one of the best around. Brandon Loveladdy’s fighter De Paynes was not having any of that, as the veteran of the octagon came in to this one looking to make a name for himself. De Paynes was unfortunately no match for Bennet, who showed that, while he may not be as good as he once was, he’s as good once as ever, controlling the pace and standing up with his opponent during this one. De Paynes was simply never able to get it going, and suffered the decision loss against Bennet. While there is no shame in losing to a man of Bennet’s caliber, certainly he was looking to establish himself at the top of GAMMA with a victory here. Fight of the night honors were awarded to both of the fighters in this one.

RESULT: Bennet def. De Paynes via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

Gunnar Steigelmann © (27-13, 14-8 GAMMA) [Milwaukee’s Best] VS. Julien “The French

Psychopath” Touret (22-11, 9-4 GAMMA) [Qlimax] Super Heavyweight (265+) CHAMPIONSHIP

Our main event and championship clash of the super heavyweights saw Dom Jaehnke’s Steigelmann taking on Bobby Heyman’s Touret for the belt. Touret had come in to this one riding a four fight winning streak to earn this matchup, whereas Steigalmann has long been atop the super heavyweights and the heavyweights, having won the belt at both weights and coming off of a title defense against Tony Slevin. Touret had high hopes after landing a blow to Steigelmann that left him leaking red; however, it takes more than that to faze a GAMMA champion, as Steigelmann came back and not only knocked down Touret, but cut him as well. Touret was scrambling for a clinch when Steigelmann teed off on him, a huge counter right dropping the Frenchman to his knees before finishing him with a few more undefended shots from the top. Steigelmann remains the champion, and takes home K.O. of the night honors to boot!

RESULT: Steigelmann © def. Touret via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (3:35)

Mitch "Mauler" Mason (203968) Interview

Welcome to GAMMA Mitch! Lets get straight to the meat with a few questions about you and your career so far!

#1 You have been bouncing around during the early part of your career with your longest run at Steel Pen Icon so far. Do you think you have found a new home here at GAMMA?

For me, personally it's been about getting some experience in a few organizations and making sure I'm at the right level before stepping up and fighting in organizations such as GAMMA. my QFC fights were all great confidence boosts and I had a great run at Steel Penn icon.

#2 You come into GAMMA as the biggest and heaviest fighter. Do you think that will come as an advantage?

I think if I'm smart with my size and I use it in the right way I can use it to my advantage. There's some really great guys in GAMMA's Super Heavyweight division so I'm excited to see how I match up.

#3 Your latest loss was against Fidel Dubbery, a GAMMA legend and Hall of Fame fighter. Do you think you will be able to have a legendary career, similar to Fidel or possibly even surpass that?

I believe so, I have the skill, the talent and the charisma to really be something. It was a great experience fighting against a legend like Fidel, he is one of the best in the business and it's great to test myself against him. I would be excited about possibly fighting him again in the future and showing him how far I have come.

#4 Management is considering matching you up against Michael Proctor for your first fight, what do you think your chances are in that fight, assuming it is given?

Proctor is a really strong guy, he hits hard and has a string of impressive knockouts, although saying that I can see he has several holes in his game. He is weak in the clinch so I think i will be able to exploit that and KO him in the first..

#5 You are currently one of the least experience guys in the GAMMA Super Heavyweight roster, how do you think that will impact you?

The guys in this division are more experience that can't be denied but i feel I have the skills to hang with anyone in the division and I can see myself doing great things despite this experience gap.

#6 And finally, Do you have a message that you would like to give to the GAMMA Super Heavyweight roster?

I'm coming for you. I'm ready to step up to the next level and to make a name for myself. I hope you're all ready.

Hell "Centaurus" Rose Interview

We are joined tonight by GAMMA welterweight veteran Hell “Centauras” Rose ahead of his fight next week against Graeme Symons at GAMMA 545 in LA.

Q1 - Welcome Mr Rose, how are you feeling ahead of next weeks fight, are you ready?

I have had a hard training camp to prepare me for this one, I have really been put through my paces and doing a lot of sparring with the younger guys at LOD Combat Fitness in New York. Graeme is a tough guy with a great record and has a great future at GAMMA. I am looking forward to putting on a show next week.

Q2 - Your manager Andy McKenzie has told us you have some big news to share with us tonight.

Yeah, you could say that….. I would like to officially announce my retirement. I am finding it hard keeping up with these young pups. Its time for me to step aside and I don't want to waste away my next few years fighting for some second rate org for a few bucks. I am going out with bang at the top!

Q3 - You’ll be sorely missed by your fans, we’ve loved watching you in the cage fighting at GAMMA, whats next for you?

Firstly, I want to thank the fans. GAMMA fans are by far the best fans I have had the pleasure to go in combat in front of. As for whats next, who knows? My family are settled in New York now since moving over from Vegas. I like spending time in the gym, so I might stay on ad LOD Combat Fitness for a bit and help out coaching until I can find something else.

Q4 - So tell us more about the last couple of years you’ve spent at GAMMA.

It’s been amazing you know. I have been so lucky to get this gig in the twilight days of my career. My last manager dropped me like a bad habit after I lost the title at CONFLICT, the org released me and I thought it was going to be time to call it a day. Luckily Andy picked me up and spoke to the boss Mentor Corleone here about getting me a deal. He wasn't sure, but agreed to give me a 3 fight trial to see how I got on. I surprised a lot of people showing them that this old dog still had some fight left in him and got my contract renewed. I was on quite a run until Sackett managed to get a TKO right at the end of our fight at the beginning of the year, I reckon I was winning the fight until that point. Its so frustrating, that fight would have led to a title fight. I have sort of lost my edge since that night and found it hard to train or bring my A game on fight night. I want to apologize to everyone for that, don't worry, I have pulled my head out of my arse now though!

Q5 - Good to hear you are training hard again and looking forward to your next fight, so will this be your last one.

Well that's for the bosses at GAMMA to decide. I have 1 fight left on my contract left after this fight. I have spoken to my manager and he spoke to Mentor for me who agreed to let me fight out my contract after my last loss. I feel I owe it to the fans to give them another couple of shows. Since that conversation, its like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders and the pressure has gone now. Its allowed me to enjoy training once again and focus on my game. I would love a chance to even the score with Galloway Sackett for my final fight if the matchmakers could make that happen that would be a fantastic way to end my career and would be even sweeter to avenge that loss that started the spiral.

Thanks for popping in, we look forward to watching you in action at LA Memorial Colossuseum next weekend, good luck!

GAMMA #536 - Slevin v Lan - London, United Kingdom - Wombley Arena - January 30th 2016 - REVIEW

Matt Quin (12-2, 5-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “The Firecracker” Scott Fleming (23-30, 0-4 GAMMA) [None] Middleweight (185)

Alika Webb’s hot young prospect, Matt Quin, was up first on the main card in this spectacular event, taking on the wily veteran Fleming, who is a representative of W.J. “The Rooster” Rivers. Coming in to this one, it was a tale of two streaks, with Quin looking to score his fifth victory in a row, while Fleming was looking to rebound after losing his first three GAMMA fights. Quin clearly was more comfortable standing up than Fleming, as Fleming looked to dirty it up by working out of the clinch and taking the fight to the mat. Quin scored a beautiful reversal to put a cap on round 1, as he swept Fleming over onto his back from the downed position. Quin was the one who wanted to clinch in the 2nd, as he landed beautiful elbow strikes and had Fleming reeling. Quin was too defensively skilled for the older opponent, and at the end of the round his strikes found their mark, as an overhand right put Fleming to sleep. Quin has now put his name in the title contention picture, as Fleming will look back to this one and wonder what exactly went wrong.

RESULT: Quin def. Fleming via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 2nd Round (4:58)

“The Whoreson” Lik Alotadik (28-15-2, 15-9-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “The Candyman” Willy Wonka (34-17, 15-14 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom]

Featherweight (145)

Alliance partners went at it here for the fourth time in their careers, as Alotadik, who is represented by Sammy Gentili, wanted his 3rd win in 4 tries against fellow L.O.D.-er Wonka, who is Jebba .’s man. The exciting grudge match began with Alotadik stuffing a few takedowns and tagging Wonka with some nice shots to take the 1st easily. That woke Wonka up, as he took Alotadik to the ground in the 2nd and started to connect with some body shots. In the 3rd, Wonka knew he had to go for the finish, as he took the fight to the mat once more and started searching for submissions. Alotadik never let his guard down, however, and despite being controlled for the majority of the round still looked confident as he stood in the center of the cage awaiting the decision. 29-28s all around for Alotadik, who must feel as though this score has been settled once and for all. We will have to wait and see if Wonka agrees.

RESULT: Alotadik def. Wonka via Unanimous Decision in the 3rd Round (5:00)

“Voodoo Child” Virgil Keller (29-15, 9-6 GAMMA) [Hitokiri-13] VS. Shinsui Kyoraku (22-16, 4-3 GAMMA) [The Devil’s Rejects]

Middleweight (185)

Two more veterans stepped into the octagon next in a packed Wombley Arena, as England’s own Keller, managed by Mike Hunt, took on the man from Japan Kyoraku, a client of Big Boss. Kyoraku was far busier to start this one off, as leg kicks and punches found their mark, albeit for not much damage. Kyoraku continued his performance into the 2nd, cutting Keller a minute in and not laying off of the attack. It was that relentless attack that may have led to Keller surprising him with a 3-punch combo that hurt Kyoraku badly, leading to Kyoraku still reeling as he entered for the 3rd and final round. A pounding ensued to finish the fight, leaving Kyoraku out cold after Keller turned the table and overwhelmed him with shots to finish this one. An incredibly impressive performance from both of these men!

RESULT: Keller def. Kyoraku via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 3rd Round (0:28)

Viv Richards © (15-2, 8-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Hektor Troy (38-20-1, 11-4-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Middleweight (185) CHAMPIONSHIP

Our one and only title match on this card today was the Middleweight belt on the line, as the champion, Whymer van Mastadon’s Viv Richards, came in to this one riding a six-fight winning streak and looking to extend it against Gerbert Bryant’s Hektor Troy. Richards and Troy came in seemingly a perfect matchup for each other, but, surprisingly, this one was over before it really even started. The two exchanged a bit and then Richards caught Troy with a counter right that cut him open. Four more shots landed and Troy fell to the floor, not to rise again in this bout. The champion completes yet another defense, and it looks as though Richards will be one for the ages. Troy will be sent a bit down the card and try to work his way back up into a rematch with Richards. For now, he will have to settle for taking home fight of the night honors, along with Richards.

RESULT: Richards © def. Troy via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (0:35)

Lan “Aanallein” Mandragoran (35-20, 19-13 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. “The Hammer” Tony Slevin (21-5, 6-2 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Super Heavyweight (265+)

Gale Hawthorne’s Mandragoran and Digga Dogman’s Slevin were the combatants in our main event, a number one contendership on the line between two legendary super heavyweights. Slevin initially came out looking to clinch and pushed Mandragoran up against the cage, only to discover that the advantage there was not as vast as he may have calculated. It took a minute or so, but eventually the gameplan payed off, as Slevin cut Mandragoran with a beautiful elbow. Mandragoran hung in there, landing some nice body shots and keep Slevin honest with some excellent clinch defense, but a short right hook took the wind out of his sails and weakened his knees, allowing Slevin to tee off on him. “The Hammer” lived up to his nickname, with a giant elbow that left Mandragoran slumped against the cage. It was our K.O. of the night, and the world will be eagerly awaiting Slevin’s title shot. Let’s see if he can make good on all the promise he has shown thus far.

RESULT: Slevin def. Mandragoran via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (3:55)

Stelio "The Greek" Kontos (231374) Interview

Because of the fact that Stelios doesn't speak English, the translator Giorgios Pradastadapalopulos will be the one who answers the questions in this interview.

He apologize in advance if something gets lost in translation.

Question #1 Stelios, welcome to GAMMA! You are a well known indy talent, why did you decide to join up with GAMMA?

“Thank you very much. I’m glad to be a part of the best and the most interesting org that GAMMA is at the moment.

I started out late with MMA, and it was mostly because I had to make a living and earn some quick money. Life in my home country Greece has taken the turn for the worse after the economic collapse a couple of years ago.

So I traveled overseas and started out in small arenas across the continent, from Hilo, to L A. and Montreal before I ended up in New York. Just scraping the bottom of the barrel to make a quick buck. But I had the luck to impress someone important, because I got because out of the blue I was offered a good contract to join GAMMA, which I didn't hesitate to accept. So, here I am. Making a decent living and having a great time doing so for GAMMA.”

Question #2 You are currently on a 7 fight winning streak, 2 wins in the past 2 fights in GAMMA. How does it feel to be on the best run in your career?

“What can I say? Thing are going my way at the moment, and I hope it stays that way for a long time. When you are in my situation, with the economic crisis and a starving family at home, you have something to fight for, something that drives you forward. And that drive is what keeping me winning at the moment. So it feels great to be able to feed your family back home.

Question #3 Prior to joining GAMMA all your wins were via KO, the 2 since joining were decision wins though, is this due to the tougher competition or possibly a change in tactics?

“It is the competition, by far. You just can’t step into the cage and start swinging like there is no tomorrow. When you sign up for GAMMA you have to expect that there are a truckload of other fighters that want to beat you senseless. And they are good at it kicking your ass too. So it gets harder and harder to KO other fighters, because if you mess up and make a mistake in the cage, you are the one that’s goin to be KOd. So I have to change my tactics to have a chance to score a win. And I don’t want to be at the recieving end of a savage beating to often, because I want to be able to speak in whole sentences when I stop doing MMA.”

Question #4 Several people have been calling you out as they consider you as a weaker link among the better 205lbs fighters, what do you have to say about those challengers and critics?

“Well, I don’t have any illusions that I’m a great dangerous fighter that will dominate everyone and everywhere.

However, I’m not a weak little lamb who is waiting to get slaughtered.

So let them call me weak and not worthy and all that nonsense. I’ll wait for them in the Cage to prove them wrong!”

GAMMA would like to announce the opening of its 4th affiliate, GAMMA: Muay Thai!

MMATycoon is a game made for MMA (hence the name) and over the years we have had very few long term Muay Thai / K-1 style orgs which have shown long term stability. We plan to change that with our first endeavor into Muay Thai.

The goal of GAMMA is to create the first sustainable Muay Thai organization which goes all the way to Pay Per View level a goal which has never been achieved in this game's history. The org will be a ID restricted org, focused on fighters 287,000 ID with a Boxing or Muay Thai background. We will be recruiting just teenagers (so no late creations). So we plan to build from the ground up. The org will be based in Los Angeles and we will have regular flights from Las Vegas, here is the org link:

GAMMA #537 REVIEW - Gunnar vs Hun - Los Angeles, California, LA Memorial Colossuseum - 2.6.2016

Ein Stein (30-12-1, 16-7 GAMMA) [FinnFighters] VS. Russian “The Undead” Zombie (15-7, 6-3 GAMMA) [Qlimax] Featherweight (145)

In our first fight on the main card, Mr. Gutz’s fighter Stein, a former champion and a GAMMA competitor known to the organization’s many fans for his entertaining bouts, took on Bobby Heyman’s Russian Zombie, who came in with three consecutive victories and was looking to put Stein down for his fourth. The 1st round saw Zombie making good on his desire to do exactly that, as he controlled the pace and kept Stein at bay with nice crisp striking. The only time Stein was able to take Zombie off of his feet, he immediately got back up, and it looked, as the first five minutes drew to a close, that “The Undead” was going to get the best of the former champion. It continued in the early going of the 2nd, where Stein was cut, and Zombie was looking to finish. Stein, however, hit Zombie with an uppercut out of absolutely nowhere that turned out the lights for “The Undead”. Stein earned himself another shot at his coveted title with that victory, whereas Zombie will be looking to recover in the next one out.

RESULT: Stein def. Zombie via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 2nd Round (3:49)

Afa “CRYBABY” Sila (19-5, 0-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Josiah “the Spaceman” Bartlet (21-9-2, 7-3 GAMMA) [Ontario Dudes Club] Lightweight (155)

Next up was a much anticipated fight in the Lightweight division, as Rabid Alien’s “CRYBABY” took on Cause McDubree’s “Spaceman”. Sila and Bartlet stood in to each other in the 1st, throwing viciously without a ton of damage. A late round takedown scored for Bartlet, but the judges, in all likelihood, gave the round Sila. Roughly halfway through the 2nd Sila took Bartlet to the floor, holding “the Spaceman” down before a referee standup forced him to engage again. Clearly ahead on points, Sila was confident going in to the 3rd, and was still landing more shots than Bartlet until, practically out of nowhere, a huge left sent Sila to the floor where Bartlet mounted him. A few more strikes found their man and Sila was out cold, a scant 5 seconds from making it to the end of the fight and probably a decision victory. A gutsy performance from

Bartlet, as he showed why he is mainstay of GAMMA competition.

RESULT: Bartlet def. Sila via K.O. (Strikes) in the 3rd Round (4:55).

“The WarWagon” Jt Colossus (54-41-1, 27-24, 1 NC GAMMA) [THE ILLUMINATI] VS. Joe “Big Country Gage” (25-9, 1-0 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Super Heavyweight (265+)

A living legend was on this next fight, as Boondock The Destroyer sent out, to roaring applause, Jt Colossus, to fight against, making his GAMMA debut under new manager David Brent, Joe Gage. Gage started this one off using his feet to keep “The WarWagon” at bay, slapping him with hard kicks to the ribs and legs. Gage then decided to move in and clinch, punishing the legend with strikes up against the cage. The assault continued until an uppercut rocked Colossus, leaving him slinking against the cage as he fruitlessly tried to defend more punches. More and more punches found their mark, and just like that, Colossus fell to his knees in defeat. It marked Gage’s most impressive victory yet and his fourth in a row. Colossus, meanwhile, certainly has nothing left to prove but must still be devastated by losing the match.

I hope we will see him at least once more.

RESULT: Gage def. Colossus via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (3:49)

Nero “La Bestia” Padilla (26-13, 2-2 GAMMA) [Elite Punishment Inc.] VS. “The Power” Willy Stoppers (49-21, 12-5 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Light Heavyweight (205)

Manager Mentor Corleone’s Stoppers was up next, taking on the up and comer Padilla, who is himself managed by Louis Princip. This match was highly anticipated, as both men were vying after a chance to take the championship gold in their next match. Padilla wanted this one over quickly, as he came out aggressive and connected with a few shots to Stoppers. Unfortunately for Padilla, he should have been more careful of what he had wished for. A huge head kick marked the beginning of the end, and Padilla was left leaking red all over the canvas. Padilla tried to keep on fighting, landing a few punches as he was wobbly, before another humongous left hand took whatever fight was left out of him. Stoppers not only earned K.O. of the night, but a chance to get the gold in the Light Heavyweight division. Padilla will be looking to bounce back, as this was his second loss in a row.

RESULT: Stoppers def. Padilla via T.K.O. (Strikes) in the 1st Round (0:47)

Gunnar “Knoke Stovkost” Gustavsson © (31-8, 13-2 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS. Attila “THE” Hun (18-5, 5-2 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Light Heavyweight (205) CHAMPIONSHIP

Whymer von Mastadon’s legend Gustavsson was up to defend his title against Atilla Hun, a representative of GSP’s Illegitimate Son. The world was watching as this one has been one of the most widely anticipated matchups in recent GAMMA history. The two men kept this one standing through the 1st, hitting each other with some strong punches and kicks before letting the time run out. Hun was not intimidated by the man across from him, as in the 2nd, Hun danced around the attempts to punch from Gunnar and landed plenty of more shots than the champion. The 3rd and 4th were the same, and a clearly frustrated Gunnar was starting to get sloppy in an attempt to keep his title where he felt it belonged. Finally, in the 5th and final, Gunnar was cut badly, as Hun clinched and kept the fight inside. Gunnar was bleeding for the remainder of the fight, and the world was shocked as the new champion’s took the fight via a unanimous decision. Easily the fight of the night, and perhaps the fight of the year, the GAMMA community was shocked and saddened as Gunnar decided to call it a career after this match. Hun certainly has some large shoes to fill, but if this fight was any indication, he is game.

RESULT: Hun def. Gustavsson © via Unanimous Decision in the 5th Round (5:00)
