Muhammad Solomon is slowly walking through the woods with only the moonlight to guide him until he reaches a small clearing in the forest. Solomon pauses for a second at the edge of the clearing and reaches down and picks up a mid size rock in his hand. The only building in the small clearing is a small wooden cabin. He walks slowly to the window of the cabin and peers inside to see a man stirring a pot readying himself for dinner. Solomon calmly walks over to the front door of the cabin and knocks quickly 3 times. After a few seconds he can hear the latch on the door turning and the door slowly creaking open until the man is standing in the door.

The Man: Can I help you?

Muhammad Solomon: Yes, My car broke down on the road along here and my phone is dead. I was wondering if you had a telephone I could use to call a tow truck?

The Man: Sure, son, come in on.

As soon as the man turns his back to allow Solomon to come in he feels a fierce pain in the back of his head as Solomon swung the rock into the back of his head. The man crumbles to the floor unable to keep consciousness as his forehead bounces off the wood floor of the cabin

The Man slowly comes awake, but cannot move. He realizes he is tied to a chair and starts to struggle mightily against the rope unable to loosen it. He looks up for the first time to see Muhammad Solomon standing in front of him.

The Man: Who are you? Why are you doing this?

Muhammad Solomon: I am Muhammad Solomon. I am doing this because I must make a sacrifice to show that I am worthy of leading the second coming of the Holy One. I must do everything he asks or he will consider me to be unworthy and that is something I cannot tolerate. I will not fail him. I cannot fail him. For if I fail him than I fail myself.

The Man starts to struggle against the ropes in hopes of freeing himself but to no avail. Finally he gives up against the restraints.

The Man: Why me? What did I do?

Muhammad Solomon: You were the man I saw in my vision. My vision lead me here to this cabin in this clearing in this forest. He told me to sacrifice you for the greater good and I do not ask why for he knows all that is important. Many lives will be lost along the way during the time of rebirth. He will come and set the world straight again and reclaim the throne that is rightfully his. You're a necessary part of it all, just as I am.

As Muhammad Solomon finishes his last word he he takes a roll of duct tape from the table next to him and tears a piece off and applies it over the man's mouth. He drops the duct tape on the floor and pulls a large Bowie knife from a sheath on his back. He looks at the man and sees that he is struggling to move the chair or remove the restraints. Solomon positions the knife in the middle of the mans chest and plunges the knife deep in the mans chest. Solomon waits a few seconds and then pulls the knife out revealing a gaping wound and a steady stream of blood down the man's chest. After a few seconds the man stops the thrashing and passes on. Solomon puts his hand under the man's chin and tilts the mans head backward and looks into his sullen, open eyes. After a few seconds Solomon puts his hand over the man's eyes and closes them. He drops the man's head back against his chest. He steps a few feet back from the man and gets on both of his knees. He begins carving in the floor. After a few minutes of carving he stands up and reads the message.

If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be! Deuteronomy 31:16

Solomon turns and walks out of the cabin door closing it quietly in the night. He continues walking back into the forest from where he came

Proving he can out crazy any man.....Sheen had followed Solomon into the forest, and had every intention of doing a battle to the death in the small clearing. However his curiosity got the better of him when he saw the cabin, and witnessed Solomon's murder of this non-descript man. Always the one upper Sheen waited for Solomon to leave, and in his head made fun of the fact he required a rock to knock the slight man unconscious, hahaha knowing if he had committed the murder himself he could have just punched through the back of the mans head, he then entered the cabin. Seeing the pot still cooking on the stove, Sheen, took a sharp knife out of a drawer, and slowly started cutting the dead man into edible sized cubes. He dropped these cubes into the stew, and once properly cooked prepared himself a bowl. He set himself up at the table opposite the man he was about to enjoy for dinner, and proceeded to hold an hour and a half long conversation with the man over his meal. After he was done he tidied up the cabin some, and left the small building. As he exited the cabin for the last time he looked to the moon, and screamed "WHO'S CRAZY NOW??!!" Then he calmly walked out of the woods picking small pieces of human flesh from between his teeth.

Lump Beefrock, a man of few words, was reported saying the following regarding The Ultimate Manager III:

"WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Well, anyway, got that out of my system. Where is the bench press?"

Hope you remember put these two guys in the brackets! 149900 and 150052

Both are going in TUM III, but they have fight on 10th. After that they will sign in Blitz/TUM III

This is worrisome to me. Perhaps send Tempest a PM as I have/had nothing to do with that part of things. My involvement in TUM has been limited to generating these brackets from the list provided. I know we are indeed looking for more fighters to round out the squad so I see no issue in you still getting in on things.

I distinctly remember putting Freedman in a bracket. Click the link above the one where you see Roger I'm sure that's him.

How were the brackets determined?

i dont see my guy on there unless he is listed as roger, he is signed to the org i know that but i dont see him listed. He is roger freedman

Well I used some search-fu when I saw that bracket and it led to you so Im guessing that "Roger" is actually Roger Freedman. Not 100% sure though. ;P If he is, GL in the first round against my Mr. Kamikaze. =)

To anyone who mailed me today all "why arnt i in the org or in the brackets", i sent 120+ mails out 2 weeks ago regarding the deadline and the rules to signup to the org , how to do it etc , this thread was updated multiple times since then stateing that, if you didnt get the mail you can contact me and we do have slots withheld in the final bracket but every oppertunity has been made to make sure everyone can take part.

As for the way the brackets were drawn in comparison to the way Virtuouz suggested, at this stage it is what it is, TUM very nearly didnt happen this year due ot the multiple deaths in Shivs family and friends all ontop of each other in the last weeks and his inability to play since, in addition to all the drop outs we had, we all have our hands full with other things and CGrace thankfuly stood up to take charge of the situation, frankly this was a last min fix to see the tournament goes ahead after all the effort people had put into their fighters, as such everyone who completes a fight in this tournament will be eligable for a yet to be determined perk of doing so.

Ultimately things are not perfect, but we are doing the very best we can with a limited hand of cards.

Pretty much this. We still have like 40 slots open (because of folks dropping out or not contacting\confirming despite the mails) in theory, so if you still want in, shoot me an ingame message at 3393 and I'll get right to it.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's been a bit of a transitional period for all of us.

Neither you, nor anybody else needs to apologise. This isn't something people are paying for, it's being done in peoples spare time, for the benefit of the community.

I, for one, am grateful to everybody who has spent time in any way, organising this tournament, and if you'd like to save some time, just give Justin the prize money now, instead of when it ends.

Thanks!

Surely from the list of competitors, sorting out the brackets based on manager ranking (as at whatever the cut-off date was) is really not that difficult and makes quite a lot more sense than a random draw?

If you guys need help with sorting that out, I'm sure there are plenty of people around who are capable of doing something like that (myself included).

As for the issue over the number of participants, just my view but I think it should be that the highest rank managers taking part should get a bye through the opening round. They're ranked more highly, hence hard to argue that they don't deserve it. Trying to figure out a way that everyone fights the same number of opponents to kick off the knock-out part of the tournament really would be a major headache.
