No more fighter swapping guys. It's getting a bit ridiculous. Karl Thomas was released without any warning and will forfeit the upcoming fight with Thomas Billington. I doubt I will allow Potter09 a replacement as he obviously gave us 0 consideration before cutting. Team Misfits will likely continue with 4 guys

Wow. That's pretty shitty and he was my "teammate" and everything. You all should really be thanking him though since the Misfits down a man to 4 is the only way the rest of you stand a chance in this thing!!

It was a drunken Misstake I have removed Karl Thomas off the FA list released the wrong guy. I have him back now so everyone can chill the fuck out. As if Id shit on a well run tourney. Knowing how much work has been put into it.

Good to know. My panic attack is officially over.

I don't know if it's too late. But i'm making another change. Switching out Biff Biffman (lame excuse for a replacment) for Tito Hopkins. Making the switch over to Team TFP Graphics.

So you are replacing a replacement with someone that was previously replaced from another team?

This is getting mighty hard to keep track of, shall we just do rolling subs each week?

TFP is at the bottom of the standings as expected, so let them continue to shuffle up their lineup and replace losers with even bigger losers.

News just in - Dakota Royer has been checked into a health clinic suffering from mental health issues.

And while things are all hush hush about the reasons for his admission - the word coming from his camp is that he is suffering depression. It would be easy to jump to the conclusion that the depression is caused through the knowledge that he is about to get KTFO in a few days time.

However an unnamed contact that works for the clinic has let slip that the cause of this admission has more to do with him battling deep seeded sexuality issues. The source from the clinic was quoted as saying "That's what happens when you have a bi-sexual name"

Thanks for reminding me about this morale. I wasn't even paying attention to it, until I saw this post, so thanks for the heads up :) I will now proceed to change his clothes every night .

Voda being ducked`?

Why would people duck Voda? He's 11-7 and not that scary on paper. If anything I would think people would be begging to fight him and steal his hype :)

Misfits vs Reaper

The Misfits are coming off their best week of the season. Reaper needs to rebound after suffering their first loss.

1. Dirk Diggler (1-0) v Dennis Wise (3-1) Wise suffered his first ITFL loss last round, dropping a close decision to top ranked Tweedle Dee. Diggler made a successful ITFL debut with a KO over Greco Roman. These two fighters are very evenly matched on paper. Diggler may be the better striker while Wise has the superior clinch game. I think Wise gets out front early and takes a decision victory.

2. Dragon Slayer (3-1)v Artie Lange (2-2) There was a heated debate among Reaper managers over who got to exploit Lange's glass jaw and low IQ. Slayer's manager won a spirited round of rock paper scissors to get the easy win. ITFL management has arranged extra emergency medical staffing to assist Lange in his recovery. Slayer by KO. Safety first in ITFL.

3. Jax Teller (3-1)v Frank Esposito (2-2) Esposito has performed far below expectations in ITFL, he is looking to get a winning streak going against Teller. Teller and Esposito both have high level striking skills with Espo getting the nod in terms of wrestling. Neither of these guys are going to be looking to take this fight to the ground so we should see an exciting stand up war. Teller by decision.

4. Karl Thomas(2-2) v Thomas Billington (3-1) Billington will be looking to get this fight down to the ground early in order to take some of the wind from Thomas' sails. Thomas is the better striker, but he will struggle if Billington gets on top of him. Billington's incredible durability will see him through and allow him to get the decision.

5. Boy Bubby (3-1)v Dakota Royer(2-2) Boy Bubby asked Reaper team Capt JLP for Royer right away. Royer looks to be in trouble matching up with MMA prodigy Bubby. Royer does have good power, so its possible that he can accumulate some damage on the younger fighter. I don't see it happening though, Bubby will GNP his way to a KO victory.

Dinooo's Donkey's vs Kaiser

The two group leaders match up in round 5's marquee matchup.

1. Jan Dudek (2-2)v Nick Fury (4-0) Jan Dudek is the sacrificial lamb for Fury this week. Hopefully there is enough room in Artie Lange's ambulance so Dudek can catch a ride. Rumor is Dinooo and LT dug a hole in the woods just in case. Fury by KO.

2. Katsuro Sato (3-1)v Dryden Mitchell(3-1) A little closer matchup here. Sato and Mitchell are paired up in what should be an intriguing match-up. Sato really needs to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible. He's not a bad striker but he is not on Mitchell's level. Mitchell must feel the same way about keeping this fight upright, he could be in trouble very fast if the fight hits the ground. Sato by decision.

3. Geralt Of Ravia (3-1)v Stanley Burrell (0-0) Burrell makes his ITFL debut against Geralt of Ravia. Geralt's manager has bounced back from a tough month of April to go undefeated in early May results. Burrell looks stronger on paper, but Ravia has been in there with some tough competition. Ravia's got more paths to victory, I think he takes this fight via decision.

4. Viktor Kafka (2-2)v Pete Wentz(2-2) Kafka drew a tough match this week. He doesn't look to have any areas of strength he can exploit Wentz with. Wentz is the definite better grappler and may be slightly better on the feet. The fights stats number really paint a picture of two comparable fighters. Wentz' experience and durability should allow him to coast to a decision win.

5. Luka Beck (3-1)v Richard Lightfoot (4-0) In what may be the rubbermatch, Beck takes on the red hot Lightfoot. Lightfoot has a scary good clinch game and has been using it to batter his ITFL opponents. He takes on the well-rounded and durable Beck. Beck needs to avoid being trapped against the cage and suffering repeated clinch rapings. Beck is tough so I don't see Lightfoot finishing him but he gets a decision win.

Nice writeup, but I find it funny the writer seems to think Royer is in trouble against Boy Bunny. Bunny hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn, so I don't know where this MMA prodigy shit is coming from. I mean just look at some of Boy Bunny's fights and you'll see that. You think Royer hasn't fought any elite caliber wrestlers during his time at Ascension? Doubt Bunny will GNP his way to victory. Bunny isn't really someone to break a sweat over. Now, with my other guy Dudek's against Lance Templeton, I have nothing to say.

Hells Balls vs Syndicate

Team HB is still struggling, they hope to get on track against The Syndicate this week.

1. Pete Damato (1-3)v Sir Jecht (0-1) Damato got a highlight reel KO that has been replaying on Sportscenter for the last two weeks. Jecht came up short in his ITFL debut last week. Damato is still dangerous, Dakota Royer attested to that when he woke up from his week long coma. Jecht does have a clear path to victory here though. Jecht by tKO.

2. Levi James(1-3) v Dan Leighty(3-1) James looks to be in deep trouble here. Leighty has been impressive so far in ITFL and has a clear advantage here. James may be able to pull of a submission if he can get this fight to the ground, but I would not hold my breath. Leighty by KO.

3. Bam Boon I(0-4) v Tweedle Dee (4-0) Boon is in deep shit in this one. Dee has been ITFLs most impressive fighter over the first four weeks. I really can not see where Boon is going to threaten Dee, but crazier shit has happened. Dee by KO.

4. Garrick Ballantyne(0-4) v Latka Gravas(1-3) Neither of these grizzled vets have performed up to the level of past glories. This fight is very close and neither fighter has stand out finishing skills, so we should see a decision here. Im picking Ballantyne just because he is due.

5. Greco Roman(0-2) v Sergiy Sklyar(3-1) Sklyar takes on Roman in the final matchup. Both of these warriors are grappling specialists, but Sklyar has the better striking. It will be interesting to see where this fight ends up. Roman will no doubt want to take it to the ground, can Sklyar dictate location will be the question. Hard fight to choose, but I think Sklyar will take a close decision.

Aces vs TFP

After a decent start, TFP has been struggling. Aces have been getting more competitive every week but still coming up a little short.

1. Dynamite Nixon(0-0) v Karl Denke(3-1) Nixon makes his ITFL debut against TFP’s top gun, Karl Denke. These two fighters are very close in terms of skills. Denke has a little bit better track record than his opponent though. Nixon has not proven to have the durability of Denke, so I am picking Denke by KO.

2. Biff Biffman(0-0) v I.P. Daily(1-3) Biffman, who makes his ITFL debut is much like Pete Damato, a former top fighter who has faded a bit. He takes on the dangerous IP Daily in this round. Daily has a skills edge but smart fight fans know not to sleep on Biffmans power and durability. I think Biffman will need a little time to get re-acclimated to the fight game. Daily by decision.

3. Edward Richtofen(3-1) v Dan Smith(2-2) Richtofen suffered his first defeat last round and is looking to bounce back against the always exciting Dan Smith. Richtofens ground game was exploited and that is not what Smith does well. Smith does brawl and through some ham hands around like its Easter. Richtofen will learn about his chin here, but I think he wins by decision.

4. Jeremy Voda(3-1) v Ogmundur Girsurrson(1-3) Fast making a name for himself in terms of submitting opponents and stirring the shit, Voda looks to bounce back after losing his first ITFL match last round. Girsurrson has competed but come up short so far in the tourney. Voda looks to be a tough draw for the youngster. He needs to stay upright and keep his striking technical and undercontrol to beat Voda. I think Voda at some point grabs an arm and almost tears it off.

5. Rage Blade(1-3) v Kauno Kaalikorva(1-3) Classic striker vs grappler here. These guys are both pretty old, so this fight brings back some of that great old-school mma vibe. Neither fighter has had extensive success in the competition so this fight is a must win for both gentlemen. It is hard for me to pick Blade here, he just does not have the power to threaten Kaalikorva. Kaalikorva by submission.

I'll put 100k on Bubby.
