Keeping an eye on the fight engine since the changes

I'm not even gonna say this was the result of my loss, it was a foregone conclusion coming into this fight my guy was gonna lose. But I have to make note that there was something odd about this fight.

My Island fighter in Craig Stadler was set to 60% punches with 100% follow orders for the fight. He decides to throw 1 punch, and 6 kicks. That can't be right.

I think RNG was messing me quite hard on this fight, but still feels messed up.

How are you guys feeling about counter takedowns now?

If striker doesent have KO power to get KO he has really small change of winning.

this is again great example of current fight engine.

striker vs randomfighter and random fighter decides to go counter takedowns with abysmal takedowns... result: lays half fight with 2 hitted strikes...

I still think clinch needs a bump. Despite a very solid clinch game, almost elite wrestling and all elite physicals Bennet was 1 of 9 in clinch attempts vs Womba. http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=638082

I just don't see how it is so much easier to get a TD than to get the fight into the clinch. I think it should be much easier to get into and out of the clinch.

Ground scoring still needs a major overhaul.

2nd round, my fighter gets taken down but reverses into mount about 15 seconds later. Has top control throughout the round, mount for almost 3 minutes and lands 3 gnp strikes but loses the round and the fight.

That's rather pathetic. One of the worst I've ever seen. Just a reminder why I don't put much effort into strategy or sliders.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that round was scored. I thought top position was worth something regardless if you land GnP or not. I'd have to assume the advancing position won him the round, but that's pretty gross.

Damn! this is the worst ive ever seen... (no joy, no luck, desperately) all descriptive words of lack of control

Are you talking about adding / changing the sliders or something else?

I think it should be much easier to get into and out of the clinch. Right now its far easier to get a TD than to initiate a clinch.

Clinches in RL mma are a lot more fluid in terms of entering and escaping them.

If everyone is in agreement with this, it's super easy to sort this out.

I'll make a poll in the general game forum so we can get a little more feedback from a wider base.

This is true,i just dont want clinch breaking to destroy clinch fighting, it would be depressing to lose value in elbows/knees

I think there should be a little bump in accuracy for both and damage for elbows.

Are we back to working on the fight engine yet? Because the activity on the ground is something that still needs addressed. I made that long post comparing UFC/Tycoon on the ground and on the feet like 6-12 months ago but I know that Mike had just finished an engine update and was taking time to do other things for a while. So when we're back to working the engine can some1 let me know so I can re-post or re-address my thoughts on the issue?
