Tycooner
I cannot see McGregor win this one in a million years. Sure, mere statistical chance tells us, that there HAS to be a possibility. But that is about as likely as the tooth fairy knocking on my door, wanting to blow me. Just check out the unedited (!) footage of McGregor's sparring with a pro boxer (think it was in preperation for Diaz 2). McGregor just looked glacially slow and utterly dull compared to this guy. The skill discrepancy between the two (him and mayweather) is nothing short of galactic. Also, I feel that many MMA fans really overate the quality of MMA striking. Sure, it is good enough for what it needs to be. And yes, especially offensively it has developed quite a bit in recent years. Even though I think this development is also inflated by the promotors desire to emphasize standing exchanges. That is why McGregor was originally scheduled to fight for the title after beating ....... Dennis Siver. And Demian Maia went through seven or eight guys (many of which being the highest calibers, that the division had to offer) and still had to beg and pray for a title shot. So this "MMA strikers taking over" thing (while not completely without virtue) is very contrived. MMA striking is and always will be (given it's framework) a big notch behind the pure striking sports. Especially boxing. If McGregor wins this one, I am gonna eat a fricking broom stick. Now this i agree with 100%

The1rstSaint
Time will tell the closer we get all I know is the build up on social media is gonna be more exciting then the fight. I'm staying far away from that bullshit this forum aside. But as a MMA fan I'm pulling for McGregor but to see him get KO'd early or to see him loose a Boring as fuck decision won't surprise me in the least. Boring decision is most likely Mayweather doesn't want to break his precious hands.
Rambo
Conor struggles to go 2 x 5 min rounds yet alone past the 2nd. I'll be surprised if he makes it to round 10.

Rambo
If Conor can close the distance, get Floyd trapped in a corner, and turn it into a dog fight (even if for only short period of time) it'll be entertaining. Think that's best bet is getting Floyd in a corner but that's highly unlikely.

I dont know Floyd sets a pretty good trap in the corner with a counter-hook that works great against an aggressive fighter the check hook its one of his go to punches in the corner

Guest
I for one will not watch this side-show. Unless Conor losses it and just kicks him in the head, then it might be worth it. If I wanted to watch something fake that was a complete spectacle, I'd watch the WWE.

Jarmas
no one can fool mother nature , not even the greatest boxer of all time.....Conor will win 4 sure....hey i did amateur boxing and i love Floyd style, for the untrained eye hes boring for those rich fat fucks commentating and hatting on the matter ,hes boring ....but if we wrote down a book on how to boxe Floyd would be the writter i....and i agree that Floyd is 90% chances of winning this.....everyone knows that in terms of high performance sport you start decreasing after 30, special athletes ,like floyd can go over that mark but no one can go forever...and remember Floyd doesnt want to fight IRS is making him.... Lefty
Is Mayweather in trouble for taxes really? He's made so much damn money in his life that I can't imagine him being in over his head in debt or taxes. I know he has a gambling addiction and he sure is not a smart feller but he's made over half a billion in his life of boxing. Plus doesn't he have so many other people handling his accounting and financial matters? SMH
