He was stripped of that honor when he bailed on the org with the belt after asking for at least 6-8 weeks before another fight.. just enough to give him the ability to bounce from contract with the belt.. seems it was a far off plan the whole time.. get the belt, don't accept a fight unless you know you can win, or jump ship at first sign of a real opponent.
