Helsinki

Bantamweight - 135lbs

Let's just get this out of the way right now, there is nothing...NOTHING...ordinary about Donald Smith. Except his nickname. The Camden native has cardio for days, months, years. That's why he was able to comfortably go the distance in both of his fights. Both of which he won with ease. How easy? 30-27 easy. He also has extraordinary takedown defense. His first opponent tried to take him down sixteen times. It didn't work. Not even once. His second opponent tried to take him down seven times. What do you think happened? Not even once. Again, there is nothing ordinary about Donald "Ordinary" Smith. His wrestling is wonderful, a true sight to behold. But even Achilles, a hero of the Trojan War, one of the greatest of all the Greek warriors, has a weakness. A flaw. Something that Scotty Jameson can exploit. Muay thai. And Jameson is pretty damn strong in that area.

It's no secret that Smith's formula to success has been on the ground, where he connects with an incredible 92% of his strikes. But some would point to weak opposition having skewed those numbers. Is Scotty Jameson the stern test that Donald Smith deserves? Or is it going to be another three rounds of devastating ground and pound on his way to another decisive victory? I can't wait to find out.

Light Heavyweight - 205lbs

What weighs more: 218lbs of steel? Or 218lbs of "Austrian Steel"? Neither, they weigh the same. They both weigh 218lbs you idiot.

Steel is strong. It doesn't bend or break. It's also very heavy. There are some that say Sig "Austrian Steel" Sauer is too heavy and too big for the Light Heavyweight division. It's a brutal cut but he has shown that he can do it. He dominated a game Joseph Senior in his debut. He had him rocked in the second, on his way to a clear victory. The most remarkable thing about that victory? It was against a brown belt. It's a well known fact that many fighters are scared to face brown belts so early on in their career. We've heard reports of some fighters and even their managers (some well respected managers) that are unable to sleep, knowing that they may bump into a brown belt the next day. Sig Sauer isn't scared. Because in Dolphin Knight, he's taking on ANOTHER brown belt! RUN FOR THE HILLS! This one is going to be frighteningly good.

Featherweight - 145lbs

Two fights. Two wins. Two first round finishes. That's been the story so far for Mickey "The Mouse" Fernandez. It's been a perfect start to a young career and now he leaves the QFC behind for the big leagues. He has impressed. Fans have taken to him. And so have sponsors. Urban Fighter is the second most popular clothing company in the world and they want a piece of the Mickey Fernandez pie. They clearly see the potential in the 20 year old as does A&E. Time will tell whether the hype is overblown once again.

Other than his terrible haircut (is that a wig?) we don't know much about Elliot "Wild" Johnson. He gets the element of surprise going into this fight. Just how "wild" can one be? I guess when I was 19 like Johnson, my johnson was deep inside my Geography teacher Miss. Kyle. It sounds amazing until you realise she'd be fighting at Super Heavyweight. Let's hope that this fight makes for better viewing.

Super Heavyweight - 265+lbs

The Super Heavyweight division is in trouble. With only 12 fighters and only 7 of them active at the time of writing, it's a mess. It needs a hero. Is Liam Ghambe the man to do it? The champion is Jan Nycz and the champ is rightfully getting impatient. He's already had seven fights in less than two months. He wants his next fight. This is a fighter that wants to fight as much as possible but the simple truth of the matter is, no one is on his level. Not even close.

Liam Ghambe has the opportunity to shorten the gap, to be the next man up. A win here is more than enough. He already has the pedigree. He holds the A&E record for the most strikes landed in a bout at 127 strikes. 127 strikes in a three round fight! No wonder he won it unanimously with three 10-8 rounds. There are some questions as to why he wasn't able to knock the opponent out that day. It wasn't like the defeated Bob Sap was known for having a granite chin or anything.

Brian Irwin has split his two MMA fights thus far, losing on his A&E debut. But he remains very confident. Let's be honest, you would have to be confident to hunt alligators. If the shy quiet kid in class goes wading into those swampy waters, his ass is lunch for sure. Liam Ghambe has been training for longer. Brian Irwin started his career with a higher skill-set. Something's got to give in a lackluster Super Heavyweight division. This fight can be the rare highlight.

Welterweight - 170lbs

Just how good is this MARQUEE 3 card? Ethan-Hawk-and-Evgeny-Kolesov-are-on-the-lower-end-of-the-card good. That's how good! We've had so many events over the last few weeks. This fight could have headlined any of them. It's that good. It really is that good. We try not to be biased here at A&E. But we can't help it at times. Because this is a fight between two of our favourite managers.

One day they are going to make a movie about Ethan Hawk's life. You will watch it and you will probably not believe what you are seeing. That's how we feel when we see the man from Adelaide fight. On 20th June we asked the question, "Is Ethan Hawk as good as we think he is?" The day after he answered that question with a resounding yes. Some people are good. Some people are great. Some people are the best. Ethan Hawk? He is BETTER than the best. No really. At Ashbourne Presents: Bloodlust, Hawk submitted the 4-0-0 fighter named Best Best. It doesn't get any better than being better than the best that was Best Best.

Evgeny Kolesov would love to be the Russian villain in your movie. He is a boxing standout but make no mistake, he can do it all. He HAS done it all. With three wins to his name, he has the knockout. The submission. And the decision. A grand slam for this true mixed martial artist. His strength is that he has no weaknesses. With fists of fury and a chin of granite, good luck trying to guess what will happen when these two top welterweights meet. We live for this kind of excitement!

Welterweight - 170lbs

Ooooohhh boy!!!! Just thinking about this fight gets me pumped. I would run through a wall just to get a glimpse of this. It might hurt but not as much as missing this fight would. These two have been going back and forth non-stop on social media. So much so that I could probably write an entire essay on this fight alone. There's so much to unpack here. Vasily Kozlov made waves when he signed with A&E. He arrived on the same day as Ashbourne Presents: Affliction and much to the annoyance of fighters that competed that day, he stole the show. All of the headlines were directed at his signing. Five wins in five fights, the latest only taking 27 seconds. Perfection. He is a submission specialist, having submitted a white belt, blue belt, and purple belt. Can he now submit a brown belt?

The God-King of Yrkje. Toby Keith Yrkje. The "Cow Puncher". The name alone strikes fear into every farm animal within a two mile radius. Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from Toby Keith Yrkje. We don't know what happened to that chicken and neither does the chicken. One day you're the cock of the walk. Next day a 187cm tall 180lbs God-King has you in a kimura.

The "Cow Puncher" is one of the most eccentric characters to have ever taken up MMA. His parents named him after their greatest hero, country music luminary Toby Keith. He is Norwegian. Trains out of Tosen's Home for Lost Boys in Rio de Janeiro. Managed by one Freako Wimp of Liberia. It's a colourful past with an even more colourful debut. Why do some of his fans believe that Toby Keith Yrkje is the true god-king? Look no further than his debut win. He gets cut with the first strike of the fight, a brutal head kick. He gets knocked down and is badly rocked only two minutes into the fight. He somehow manages to make it to the end of that round. Round two and the cut is only getting worse. And then...BANG! Down he goes AGAIN!!!! Seconds before the fight is over, the commentator said the following, "Pablo Junior has got the better of the ground game so far." And then...a miracle...The God-King of Yrkje turns it on. Reversal. Sub attempt. Tap. W. Not many a men would have survived that, let alone come away with the win. Much like the cow, Pablo Junior didn't know what hit him.

Vasily Kozlov could have taken the easier option. There were so many easier fights available to him. This will be a challenge like no other and we have to respect that his manager chose to take up the challenge whereas many others would have hid behind such an impressive record. It's going to be incredible. It's Toby Keith Yrkje vs. Vasily Kozlov. It's Norway vs. Russia.

God-King vs. Tsar.

Heavyweight - 265lbs

This is a fight between two cheating cbombs. Fuck you John Wayne.

Middleweight - 185lbs

If you ask A&E fans today, who is the most hyped fighter within the Middleweight division? Which Middleweight excites you the most? The most common answer is Fran Griggs. It was one month ago and it still is today. The charts don't lie. He entered A&E with an unblemished 4-0-0 record. He looked unbeatable. He was.

Until Nario Gwan.

Nario Gwan is rated highly and yet is still one of the most underrated fighters on this roster. Let me explain. He lost his first fight to someone managed by one of the best to ever do it. But look at what he has done since then. John Carter was supposed to win. John Carter was supposed to beat Nario Gwan and go on to fight for the Middleweight title. John Carter lost two in a row and was dominated on his way to getting cut. He was cut! Something A&E generally steers away from. That fall from grace started with Nario Gwan. Gwan ruined Carter's title party. He did it again three weeks later with Fran Griggs. He made Griggs look stupid. Why are we not talking about Nario Gwan for the title?

Because Principo Adam.

Principo Adam has also beat John Carter. And he picked up a Sub of the night award in doing so. He also holds a win over one of the best Middleweights Carl Ballin albeit that was during their QFC days. He cuts a mysterious figure. Hailing from Vatican City, he promises to help Nario find his salvation. And we're convinced he means it. The Middleweight title will be on the line at MARQUEE 4. Wilhelm Bar will be there. Will he be facing Principo Adam or Nario Gwan?

A&E Featherweight Championship - 145lbs

Joe Biden doesn't talk. He doesn't want to. He just wants to fight and win. That's the aim of the game here isn't it? Winning. And he's very good at it. Ivan Wong talks but only through his advocate Mr. Nathan. It's like something out of WWE with Brock Lesnar and his mouthpiece Paul Heyman. Only the pain that Ivan inflicts is very real. No scripts here. Just two fighters that believe they have what it takes to be on top of the division. Or maybe three fighters. Because sitting cageside will be none other than the 2-0-0 Greg Fitzgerald. He wants next. And his hard to argue with him after first round stoppages in both of his A&E fights. Biden and Wong will have to avoid the Fitzgerald distraction and we can't think of two better fighters to do so. Biden doesn't get distracted, that would involve thinking in the first place.

At the front of our official website is our A&E Champion's Wall. It's also referred to as the "Faces of the Organisation". These are the people that carry A&E on their back. They are a step above the rest. Both in and outside of the cage. They are influential and at the forefront of everything the company does. No one has been more visible than Ivan Wong. The great Dane has done wonders for A&E. He has helped the organisation's cause tremendously. This fight is an opportunity for him to cement his status as just that...the face of the organisation. He will have to do it, against one of the best 360k fighters and managers in the world.

A&E Light Heavyweight Championship - 205lbs

The disgraced Lors Lori of John Wayne fame is no more. Goodbye to the cheat that is Lors Lori. Enter the noble Lee Smith - the new manager of New Kid. After all of the drama, Lee Smith steps in to save the main event. And now a few days later, he could have a world champion on his books. It's been a remarkable ride. There's never a dull moment in A&E.

These two look very similar on paper. Both purple belts. Both can knock you out in a standup fight. Lindren is the younger fighter at 19 to New Kid's 25. New Kid knows all about teenage prodigys managed by top managers. In his last fight, he sensationally knocked out the much lauded Stinky Armpits in 81 seconds, earning himself the KO of the night. But this is different. This is MARQUEE. The fight is a little longer. The lights are a little brighter. It's the main event of the biggest event. Everything that has happened has led us to this fight. The drama. The betrayal. The three-fight winning streak. The two-fight winning streak. At the end of it all, we will have our first ever A&E Light Heavyweight champion.

Who will be watching? What are your predictions?

Zett The Martyr Jukassa (361846)

At 19 years of age, Zett Jukassa, is an unknown. Zett earned his nickname The Martyr ͏a͏t the young age of 14, for selflessly sacrificing himself for Senator Organa during the Great Purge.. After seeing everyone he ever knew, die. By some miracle Zett survived.. Zett has devoted every waking hour to becoming stronger. He aims to quietly seize the Middleweight title. His skills are quickly honing in and those unprepared will face his vengeance. In three short days, William Smyth (364912) will be his first victim in Zetts debut.

If you believe that Toby Keith Yrkje punches cow in his elite gym, then you are not smarter than any democrats who believe that Joe Biden cares about black people.

Wait what? They are just playing their gimmicks and its is stupid for me to break the 4th wall?

Lol I stop caring about all these hidden rules and traditions the moment I put my 25 year old fighters against those rising 19 years old.

Just say it here because I dont wanna waste an original line. If I lose in Marquee 3 and say it afterwards, people might think that I am a sore loser.

The truth is that I got tired of roleplaying and you probably wont see me beefing with other people as intense as I first started.

Yeah makes sense. But role playing can still add a layer to the game that makes it more exciting for some for a time

That's the beauty of the game. It has something for everyone and we can put as much/little effort into each different aspect of it. Thanks for all the contributions Ivan. All the best with the real life stuff!

You are welcome. I would be lying if I say I didn't enjoy it. But the feeling just isnt there anymore. Will make my full statement after Marquee 3 , win or lose.

Thanks again for all the people that took part or am taking part.

So... are you excited about A&E's first event?

He's getting the snicklefritz, I'm a little upset. How do you debut the org without the King? Look - I'm excited about A&E's first real event. That's on June 5th in Hayashi's Lounge, where I'll be cornering two of Convicted Fight Club's youngest prospects, Scooter Lebowski and Eli Rambeau.

ELI RAMBEAU

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w15.jpg

0-0-0 (set to debut)

Eli Rambeau is a physical specimen. With plenty of reach and the physical tools to thrive in the light heavyweight division, his actual potential still remains an enigma. It's too early to tell if he's smarter than Scooter, but he's taken a different approach to his professional debut. Where Scooter dove right in headfirst, trial by fire - Eli walked into the gym with a more methodical approach. Work hard, grind, go through a real MMA training camp before your professional debut.

That's exactly what Eli's experience at Convicted Fight Club and the Convicted KT Factory have been, and so far, so good. As a fighter not much is known about him. He has a natural aptitude for the game and learns quickly. He runs through the drills like a champ and gets better every session. However, he's yet to spar with any of the fighters, and it's just as likely that Eli enjoys long walks on the beach in the Bahamas as it is that he is the future of the A&E organization.

A combined record of 0-1 between these two fighters of yours, you must be pretty excited to see them compete?

That's right and A&E is lucky to have them. These are the future stars of this organization. Word of advice to all the young managers out there trying to come up in this game, it's essential to see what your fighters are made of before you let them take space up in your gym. You gotta do what you gotta do to separate the boys from the men as early as possible. Separate the sheep from wolves. Thin the herd, you know what I mean? Eli means well, hard worker, but if he can't cut it when those cage doors closed, his ass is out the door faster than Butch when Camara joins his org.

So we should expect Convicted Fight Club's fighters to take over the LHW and MW divisions; any plans for the rest of the organization?

No, I think we'll let everybody else eat. If Eli doesn't cut it in his debut, we have a backup option at 185. Cooper "Red Beard" Roos. He recently just knocked a Step Daddy fighter into free agency.

Eli Rambeau outlasted the other prospects from Convicted Fight Club and still remains on The KO King Chris Karter's stable of elite MMA fighters. When he debuted he was just an eager kid from Alaska, with an afro. After going full-afro Samurai aka karate kid in his debut against previously unbeaten Jackie McGee, Convicted celebrated his victory by shaving his head.

"They told me I ain't Jewsus Christ or Afro-American and there was more than enough hair in the gym already, so I had to cut it for now." Eli explained to us following his successful debut. "It'll grow back. No shave November is around the corner. They can shave my head, but they can't shave my pubes. Wait, they can't do that can they?"

In his second fight with the organization he again dispatched his opponent in the first round, this time putting the 2-1 fighter Luca Myles away with strikes in the clinch. He showed off flashy karate style kicks on the outside, but he displayed the recipe of an MMA fighter on his way to another flawless victory. His flashy kicks originate from a background in a mysterious self-taught Kung Fu that he wouldn't indulge in.

"I bootlegged some DVD's off the internet, I'm not gonna talk about it much, don't want to reveal my techniques. Just know that I'm on that Cobra Kai shit."

Convicted Fight Club declined to comment on the legitimacy of the techniques he may or may not have learned on a DVD. There is speculation that he is a high level Kung Fu student or Karate Kid 3.0 but these rumors are unconfirmed. While Eli has proven to be a bright prospect in his first two fights he has been relatively untested inside the cage. What isn't known about the Alaskan native is that he can slap stick with the best of them.

"I was the Enforcer, I was the Sniper, all-state. Back home they called me Mr. Slap Shot, Doctor Hat Trick, or sometimes DJ Snow Flake on the weekends." he rambles incoherently, albeit nostalgically about his days as a Junior-League Ice Hockey player. He ends his rant by going off on a tangent about why he left Alaska in the first place. "It's a fucking sausage fest bro. Total cock-festival."

Eli details how moving to Los Angeles to train at Convicted Fight Club changed his life, "Total game changer. The ass in this town. Have you been to Venice Beach?" he laughs, "Ever since I got here I've been swiping right all day. It's taking my cardio to the next level. I've never been in better shape, physically, mentally, my cardio is A-100. These girls calling me the waterfall man."

Unfortunately Eli never steered the conversation back to his MMA career or what is next for him at A&E. Never the less due to his affiliation with the best damn manager ever, his career will be closely monitored and he is a prospect to keep on your radar.

Without a doubt the #1 360k org at the moment based on activity, size and the managers active in it.

I`m looking closely at this one as the Master takes on a tough, also undefeated project:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/scoutfight.php?fida=360091&fidb=361916

I wish I had fighter slots for 360k like I did for 340k and 350k but again, once the Island closes I will get 3 new fighter slots and will pick up all 360k already well built fighters so no big deal.

You hang in there A&E until I`m ready to conquer 360k. I have really high hopes for yous as well as Empire.

The 2 of yous should carry 360k to greatness along with the other orgs orbiting around.

365k looks secured so the future looks bright!

KING RISING!

Rumours stated that this may be Ivan and Kozlov's last ever appearance in Ashbourne Event. We shall know the truth in less than 3 hour time. However, before they can say their potential goodbye, there are mountains ahead of them to be overcome as they will be facing rising stars Joe Biden and TKY.

Who will emerge victorious?

Stay tune to find out.

Principo Adam

Adam is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gwan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Adam gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gwan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Adam lets go of the hold and Gwan can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Wrapping Up with the Boss
2020-07-18
Helsinki
"I thought you weren't going to do these anymore?"
"How can I not? I live for this. What a night! What. A. Night."

"You went missing for a while. It's good to have you back in front of the mic!"

"I may not be around for an interview after every event but this is MARQUEE we're talking about!"

"It was no doubt a great event but early reports suggest that it just fell short of a record rating for A&E. Are you surprised by that?"
"Ah that was down to a scheduling snafu by yours truly. I like to leave six whole days empty leading up to MARQUEE events but I got the dates wrong when scheduling this one. That won't happen again."

"There was also no event poster for the first time in A&E's short history..."

"Do you work for one of the other 360k orgs or something? What is this? Who sent you?"
"No... I just..."

"We tried to get something done late but we missed the deadline. A huge shoutout to Cheorge Guvalo who used his own free time to create a poster but it just wasn't to be. We have two new generic posters coming our way which we're very excited for. But we're still looking for someone to do the posters for MARQUEE events on a regular basis. My wife left me."

"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that."

"Don't be. It was probably less about me forcing her to do event posters and more about my infidelity, alcohol dependence and severe cocaine habit."

"Oh..."

"Shall we talk about the fights?"
"Yes! The fights! The very first fight ended up being the best fight in your eyes. What did you like about Scotty Jameson vs. Donald Smith that saw them get the Fight of the night?"

"The comeback. Donald Smith goes into the fight 2-0-0 and completely dominates the first round. The ground and pound was nasty and at one point it looked like the kimura was going to make Jameson tap. But then Jameson comes out the next round looking like a different fighter and just completely obliterates Smith. Both fighters had their moments and came out of it looking good!"
"I feel like we saw so many good knockouts tonight. You settled on Joe Biden for KO of the night. Had to go with the new champ?"
"One doesn't "settle"...for Joe Biden. A photogenic KO in a title fight? Yes please. But you're absolutely right there were great KOs across the board. Tonight was one long highlight reel. There was Ethan Hawk with the vicious knockout. Toby Keith Yrkje landed that perfect overhand right for his beautiful knockout. We'll be seeing these replays for a while."

"Toby Keith Yrkje of course, got that big victory over the previously undefeated Vasiliy Kozlov. Just before we started this interview, a little bird told me that Vasiliy Kozlov is no longer under contract with A&E. What can you tell us about that?"

"That is correct. We were contacted by his manager before the fight, requesting his release. We will always accommodate such requests. Of course, we prefer that people give us a chance and stick with us as we learn and grow but we never want to hold anyone hostage. Everyone has their own plans and preferences. He was only with us for one fight but it was a great one and we wish him all the best with whatever he chooses to do going forward."

"Will Ivan Wong also be leaving A&E?"
"We're waiting to hear back from his camp."

"Wong lost in the Featherweight title fight against an incredible Joe Biden in the co-main event. We have two more A&E Champions! it's filling up nicely. What's next?"

"For our first ever Featherweight champion Joe Biden and our first ever Light Heavyweight champion Dolph Lindgren - it's celebration time. For us, we're working on two more title fights for MARQUEE 4. We can confirm now that Middle Finger will be facing Alexandr Kurilenko for the Lightweight championship at our next MARQUEE event. And we're very close to finalizing a superb second title fight for the same night. These MARQUEE events get me all hot and bothered, I love them."
"Oh boy! It all sounds so exciting. That leaves only the Welterweight title up for grabs and you'll be holding a tournament for that?"

"Yes we announced it internally, in this week's edition of A&E's Fighters Weekly. Where are my welterweights at? I'm calling you out right now! There's forty of you, you're telling me only four of you want to win $2,500,000 and 1 Year of VIP? Maybe we need to announce all of the other prizes up for grabs, to whet their appetite. We'll find a way to make it work. I promise you that."

"It's getting late again. I'll let you get to your afterparty. Any parting thoughts on a successful MARQUEE 3?"

"I'm very late so I'll give you a quick lightning bullet round."
"Go!"
Dolph Lindgren is a star. Ethan Hawk is going to be. Grumpy Bastard rules over A&E with two champions and a possible third on the way. Fighters like Mickey Hernandez give me hope for the future. And if we get it done, the Middleweight title fight featuring Principo Adam and Wilhelm Bar is going to be the best fight A&E has ever seen."

"Big words following a big night! Enjoy the rest of your evening Boss!"
"Cheers, stay safe!"
Event Rating: 84.60 (2nd highest)
Attendance: 1,665 (3rd highest)
KO of the Night: Joe Biden
Sub of the Night: Principo Adam
Fight of the Night: Scotty Jameson vs. Donald Smith
