Jake Paul - I will not be in Clarence corner tonight. I’m going to be in the front row to watch the fireworks and cheer on my boy and his man friend. Expect to see my face on the Jumbotron a lot tonight

Kai: Are they going to kiss if Baby wins? I bet they will. It's a well known fact that Hank is his boyfriend.

Kai: Sweet dreams Reyes. You are destined to be a gatekeeper in my division, good fight though.

By the way who is this guy Sonny, predicting Reyes to win? No idea why he thought that was possible...

Slice misses with a double jab
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a huge left! Slice is in big trouble! He's backing up but Thibodeaux Jr. isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Slice from any more damage. A dominating finish by Thibodeaux Jr.!

Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.: "It would've went to decision if it was only 3 rounds, pillowfists. Are you the last person in my way? Cause some dumbass ranked Micka Slice higher than me and I've been telling since he got slept quick by Bill Smif, he couldn't touch me. I beat his ass at distance where HE is best at. I'm just trying to see if you are next ? Or are you gonna say you wanna title shot to avoid me. Everybody gotta get it! The ref gonna have save you when it comes to me.. that goes for everybody.

The last rankings were done by the same person that had been doing them for a while now.  I honestly don't know how accurate they were, but I wasn't concerned with that part as it was ongoing from the way they had been.  Clearly, Thibs has shaken up the rankings a bit so we'll have to take a look and see what it looks like.  But, it was built up as that fight being a #1 contender fight, so I don't want to just abandon that aspect either.  Looking like you have a clear cut challenge to present and no doubt you'll get your shot very soon.

Kai: Not sure why you talking. #6 beating #5 thinks he deserves a shot... Comical. I am fighting for the title next, not the 5th ranked light-heavyweight.

Keep in mind.. should you win the belt, he's probably your #1 contender.  Go ahead and wind him up more!  lol

It's ok if he wins the belt, Baby Thibs takes the belt from him, and Hank fights him beats him and then Baby Thibs and Hank have their title fight.

In the words of Kuiil "I have spoken."

Saying he beats you, then Hank beats you, and then Hank and Thibs fight for the belt. That's if you win the belt. If you lose the fight then Hank just beats you.

Everett Covington (7-1)   VS   Davante Dunbar (5-1)
Lightweight

Sonny - I love this matchup. Both of these guys primarily love to take home arms in route to victory with 9 out of their combined 12 wins coming by submission. Everett comes in with a fair amount of more skills overall and 5 years age “experience” over his opponent. Covington has dedicated himself as slightly more pure grappler while recently Dunbar has upped up his boxing skills for the clear advantage on the feet. I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s break down each fighter.

Everett Covington - This 26 year old has dedicated his life to the grappling arts sense before he could walk. Rumor has it when he was born he tried to immediately pass his Mom’s guard. Covington is a purist on the ground and an absolute pleasure to watch work. Covington just lost his title and his last fight so motivationally you know he will be coming in on fire. To complement his beautiful Jits Covington carries with him an awesome pure wrestling game as well. He was born and raised in Alabama and a second generation Division 2 champion for Alabama State’s wrestling program. Covington only weak spot on paper is his standup game. But let me further you find that and say is true only weakness is stand up at range. He has a deceivingly mean clinch game with elbows calcified from breaking trees apparently.  Nasty clinch.
Davante Dunbar - 21 year old from Minnesota, good old USA. I appreciate Dunbars fighting philosophy in that he will beat you wherever you want about to go. He made a statement in his first professional fight by knocking out a granite chin brawler. From there he went on a tapping spree and currently sits at a 5-1 record with three subs. Dunbar will need to fight an extremely cerebral fight if he wants to have a chance tonight. This young man proved himself more than worthy against black belts. Dunbar took on black belt Shingen "The Tiger Of Kai" Takeda last fight and took the black belt’s arm home in less than 2 minutes! Could this be the next Gracie Killer?

Ron - I'll tell you who's gonna get killed tonight.  This bottle of Scotch, that's who.  But seriously, isn't Dunbar an armored truck company?  He needs a better name.  How about we call him.. Davante Diablo!

(Outlaw sighs)

Outlaw - Man, that's one hell of a take.  Good, in depth preview and breakdown of each fighter.  No doubt you're anxious to see this bout take place.  Well guess what?  It's happening Saturday night, less than 24 hours away!  Now we are both new to this promotion, so we are still learning these fighters, and these fight previews are exactly how we do that.  It's obvious that you've done your homework here.  One thing that really stands out to me about this fight is that Covington's manager has been abducted by aliens.  Well, he may have just went to Mexico and decided to go off grid.. but the point is, he's gone, MIA, nowhere to be found and when a fighter is without his manager in his corner, that's a huge loss.   Covington is the better grappler here, for sure, but without the man calling the shots this is an uphill battle for him.  Dunbar could very well be the next Gracie killer though, and that's exactly what he'll need to be in this one.  If he keeps the fight on it's feet though, he'll have a good chance of getting another TKO/KO victory here against another granite chin opponent.

Sonny - Man I’ve been sitting here trying to make a pick for this fight and 2 cups of coffee and three bong hits later I still have no fucking idea who’s going to win this. Everything on paper says Covington should win outside of a flash KO but the kid Takeda has that X factor and is coming off a freaking victory over a black belt so that undermines my whole outlook on what SHOULD happen. One tool in his belt that Covington can use on the ground that Dunbar does not possess is GnP is his GnP. Covington has to look to use his wrestling advantage to pass to a safe position on the ground and chip away at Dunbar from 3/4 mount or mount position for the win.

Sonny's Choice - Covington by decision

Outlaw - I'm gonna go the other direction.  Though I fully believe that Covington has the advantage on the ground, I think that the lack of a manager in his corner will turn the tide in Dunbar's favor.

Outlaw's Choice - Dunbar by TKO

Ron - What about me guys?  Do I get to pick?

(Outlaw & Sonny Simultaneously)  NO!

Ron - Well, Outlaw's a jerk so I agree with Sonny.

(C) Rak Boonliang (6-0)   VS   (#1) James "Wolverine" Howlett (5-0)
Lightweight Title Bout

qeYEHGE.gif

Sonny - Rak is considered one of the best up and comers in the light weight division. Having attained the title in his last fight, he states he’ll not be looking back and only down the path towards complete dominance of his division. Not gonna argue with the man’s focus and drive. He is a stand out in the gym and soaking in high levels of technique from his mates in the premiere camp of Andy Down.

Across the cage we have James Howlett. Howlett claims the bragging rights of being the youngest ever black belt in Bellicose. Howlett also claims the bragging rights of having the loudest voice in his boss’s ear - having already set himself up with the welterweight title fight should he win tonight! I mean this man is making moves like a mini McGregor!

Ron - They called him mini me!  Not McGregor.  What midget do you know called McGregor?  I wonder if the champ is going to Rak the wolverine?  This is fun!

Outlaw - Jesus Ron, maybe you should stick to drinking.  The champ is sitting pretty at 6-0 and I'm not sure you can call him an up and comer.  He's the champion and has put down every challenger put in front of him.  He has two fight of the night and one KO of the night awards to date, and that KO of the night was an insane head kick over Razor Ramano. This man is on a mission and he will not give up that strap without a scrap.

Ron - Oh, I see what you did there.  You should write nursery rhymes!

Outlaw - The challenger is no slouch himself with a 5-0 record, he obviously knows how to win.  He has three submission of the night awards to his credit and is an absolute monster on the ground.  Five victories, five knockouts.   Unbelievable fight we have lined up here, and this one is scheduled for five rounds. What are the odds you think it'll go the distance?

Sonny - With Howlett’s heavy focus on ground training and giving up a whopping 14 cm of height this fight is obviously going one of two ways... Howlett will back up his words and introduce Rak’s face to his crotch for a tap or there will be zero takedowns given and Boonliang will end with a KO? This could be the beginning of a fairytale career for James Howlett but unfortunately we are not writing fairytales here. We are here to beat the ever living shit out of each other and that’s what I think Rak Boonliang will do to James Howlett in the very first round.

Outlaw - Yeah, I don't know if it'll end in the first round, but I have no doubt it'll be a finish for one of these guys and it will be an "of the Night" award candidate also.

Ron - Of the night?  That sounds like an 80's Journey song.  I bet it would be very good.  Did you know I can play the drums?

Kanud Odimabesser (7-1)   VS   Johnny Matthews (7-4)
Welterweight

Sonny - I don’t look at this fight on paper. Just don’t. Kanud is one of the most highly developed all-around fighters for his age in the world while across the cage Johnny has focused more on the pure grappling arts. Sometimes fights aren’t made to look pretty on paper. Sometimes the fans demand two warriors enter the cage because they simply lust for blood. This is a fight that will satisfy the carnal cravings of Bellicose fans. Let’s get into it.

Ron - Why would anyone watch a fight on paper?  How can you even do that?  You watch the damned TV or you go to the playground at school, but on paper?  What, is this comic fighting?

(Sonny sighs and clears his throat)

Sonny - As mentioned Kanud Odimabesser Is a highly touted all around mixed martial artists and has been top ranked for his age bracket since he was 13. Apparently when you are from a town called Kaushtababi there are plenty of fights available for minors. This welterweight comes into the fight with a strong 7-1 record including three knockouts, two submissions, and two decisions. Kanud can finish the fight where he wants and has shown success at dictating where the fight goes. This is a win-win situation. He is known for his KO power and although his chin has never truly been tested, this will not be the fight where that will place.

Across the cage from him we will have Johnny Matthews. He is 21 years old and haling from Salt Lake City, Utah. Therefore he will be accompanied to the cage by all 4 of his wives! Who knows if they can corner worth a shit but it never hurts to have 4 sets of boobs rubbed in your face between rounds. Proven science! anyway, besides being a practicing polygamist from Utah, Johnny Matthews had worked his jujitsu game to renowned levels in the regional circuit before showing up at Bellicose. Here he has suffered 2 knockout defeats in his five fights.  We all know Bellicose can be a tough step up and Johnny Matthews has shown glimpses of greatness here by pulling subs from top and bottom position for his three victories. Not to mention they have all come in the first round. I love the eye of the tiger attitude he brings to the cage.

Ron - (singing) It's the, Eye of the Tiger that's the thrill of the fight.  Rising up to the challenge of our rival!  And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night.  And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger!!! (head bangs)
Outlaw - Ok, a great song, but leave that to Survivor.  You've got no business singing it.

Sonny - I’m not even going to sweat on this match up because of how dominant Kanud looks in the gym. He has been grinding his stand up as well BUT has he also been working the takedown defense drills as rumored? I think the special K is going to twist his skill set to his advantage and keep the fight standing this time. His KO power and  Johnny Matthews suspect chin should make that and easy game plan and path to victory. Now don’t get me wrong when I make these choices. This is what I see probably happening but I am still a fan. And this fight is for the fans. I will be the first one of you to jump out of my chair if young Johnny can’t pull the upset sub. But yeah, in the end...

(Ron looks at Outlaw with a sour face)

Ron - Face to face, out in the heat.  Hanging tough, staying hungry.  They stack the odds til we take to the street.  For the kill with the skill to survive...  it's the..

(Sonny backhands Ron)

Ron - Son of a bee-sting!  That hurt!  What the hell!  The face?  Really?

Outlaw - Serves you right ron.. I told you not to sing.

Ron - Fuck off, I'm getting a Scotch.

Outlaw - I couldn't agree more.  About the fight or the wives.  I mean, I couldn't handle 4 women all trying to tell me what to do all the time.. 1 honey do list is bad enough, can you imagine 4?  I mean, I'm sure the sex is great, but other than that... geez.  Oh, and the fighters perspective is pretty dead on too.  Special K, as you call him, looks like the much better overall fighter.  His ability to defend on the ground could come in key if this goes there, but as you said, who knows if it'll make it to the ground at all.  If it does go to the ground, anything could happen.  I've seen purple belts tap out black belts before, so you just never know.  But this fight definitely seems slanted towards Kanud.  Who do you have? If it isn't obvious enough.

Sonny - Kanud Odimabesser by 1st round KO, Ron?

Ron - Fuck you, my face still hurts.  I said no hitting in the face, EVER!

Outlaw - It's unanimous, Kanud will likely pull this one off.

(C) DeVon "Steel Wool" Hampton (9-1)   VS  (#1)  "Alfred the" Hole Reemer (6-1)
Light Heavyweight Title Bout

Sonny - This fight is for the Bellicose Light Heavyweight Championship of the world! This is a matchup that will delight all the ground game fans still buzzing hot off the NCAA wrestling tourney. God bless Gable Steveson. Steel Wool Hampton (love the nickname) is in the cage for his first title defense against one of the most iconic wrestlers in the organization - who I just prefer to call Alfred.

Ron - Who the hell names their kid Steel Wool?  He must be from Canada.

Sonny - First let’s dig into the champ’s past work. Devon Hampton. Primarily, his manager wants you to know he is into musicals, dancing, and gardening. I am still trying to figure out how this equates to a championship level fighter but that math is beyond me. Another blip in my math equation is Hampton has studied jujitsu for over nine years and are in his brown belt year yet has never attempted one sub in 10 fights. Maybe not crazy in itself but for a man that refuses to throw punches you would think he would go ahead and get his strangle on. This is not the case and why I think Steel Wool surprises his opponents every time. He uses his “meh” level wrestling to eventually get the takedown then beautifully adapts his superior jujitsu game to reinforce his top position where he proceeds to beat the ever shit out of each opponent he faces. When he gets on top it’s like he just got out of a bad therapy session and he is decimating his enemy for being so violated and wronged by his parents in his youth. It’s like someone stole his lunch money. You know what I mean. Beautifully brutal. This is his game plan and he has executed 90% of the time when given the opportunity.

Ron - I do know what you mean.  Someone used to steal my lunch money and I had to start bringing peanut butter and banana sandwiches to school.

Sonny - Across the cage we have another man clearly dealing with parent issues - the challenger - Hole Reemer. “The Alfred” Hole Reemer at that, so apparently there’s a favorite hole in question. OK Jesus Christ enough of that rabbit “hole”. Reamer comes in with a perfect 6-1 record and I say perfect because his first fight was his only loss and it was one of those shady back alley dealings G Wad sponsors. Sus. Reamer is an exceptionally polished wrestler who has never been dropped nor knocked out. He leans on this chin to secure the takedown without bothering to punch more than a couple fake overhands to secure the double leg. From there it is all ground and pound baby. Dude doesn’t even bother to pass guard most of the time it’s just instant game on. His opponents know what’s coming and they simply can’t stop the hurricane from this long limbed wrestling specialist.

Ron - Here I am.. Rocked you like a Hurricane!  (head bangs)

Outlaw - Clearly, Ron is into 80's hair bands.  But I'm into this fight.  "Alfred" is obviously a young stud who's got a very bright future in this league.  And a little fun fact that many don't know.. Alfred beats up Nazi's.  If you go to his personal site, it's right there on his profile page.  He's a very technical fighter having pulled off 5 of his 6 wins by scoring with the judges, but that's just his style.  He's not much of a striker, but he can wrestle around with the best of them.  The champ has been an over achiever his whole life.  I don't know if it's that ruthless aggression you spoke of or something else, but he just fights like a man possessed.  He's a perfect 4-0 in Bellicose and nobody saw that coming.  A true artsy type that goes to musicals, catches butterflies and eats a ton of pizza, but the man will beat your ass if you give him the chance, and he's getting better.  He was winning back when he was a raw talent and inexperienced, but he's getting experience as the fights pile up and he's getting better and better at face bashing.  This should be an exciting match.

Sonny - For sure, this fight is so interesting and also so tough to pick because really whoever is on top when the fight goes to the ground will have the only offense either fighter is interested in. Hopefully they have both been working on their transitional ground game in order to not  to get pinned under the other ground and pound specialist. Reamer appears to have a good heart and a proven chin so that could be the deciding factor in this ground fight.

Outlaw - Ok, so who you got Sonny?

Sonny - Reemer by TKO round 3.  Is it just me, or has Ron gotten quiet.

Outlaw - I slipped something into his Scotch.  He'll be out for a while.

Cyborg- this one is a little harder to brush off, I’m now 0-3 in number 1 contender fights here at 205, the first one against Daniels could of went either way especially if we had 2 more rounds , Hank caught me in R1 , but a 5 round war this time has me really considering a weight change especially with Paul at 205 now, 185 look out , the gatekeeper of light heavyweight could be there soon

Bellicose 83 Preview - Undercard

6676-EC4-A-D229-43-F8-8-EAA-E03-EC15186-

Good day to everyone out there in Tycooniverse! I’m back this morning to deliver the previews for this evening’s card. After looking at the main card preview I will say I am impressed with our team’s thoroughness  but will attempt to pull back on my long windedness (is that a word?) this morning to keep this timely.

There are some hot fights left to touch on and everyone deserves to see their name in print so let’s freaking go!

Razor Ramano Vs Sammy Nyla
- Lightweight -

This fight should be an absolute slobber knocker between these two young up-and-coming fighters in the lightweight division. Ramano comes in with a 6-3 record with 4 of his 6 wins coming by KO. Of his three losses 2 were KOs so that could be a factor in this standup fight Across from him is Sammy Nyla. Nyla comes in with a deceiving 5-4 record... BUT three of those losses were subs so that will not be a factor today.

Ramano should be looking for his path to victory by staying at range and using his edge in boxing. He has a long reach advantage and will be no doubly looking to keep the fight at a distance. Adversely, Naja has the clear grappling advantage and should be looking to immediately take the fight into the clinch and control to victory from there. Who will win? Whoever implements their game plan obviously. Good luck to both fighters!

Sonny’s Pick: Naya by TKO (knees) round 2

“The Gypsy Prince" Motshan Bogachev Vs Arax Lightspeed
- Welterweight -

What a perfectly made match up we have here! If there was a fight that was a toss up for me this is it. Bogachev  ones in with a 5-2 record with all 5 wins by KO. He is a powerhouse with a Granite Chin to complement. He will need all this and more as he looks to stop the momentum of Arax Lightspeed. Of note – and I think what will be the deciding factor in this fight - is the fact that Lightspeed is managed by the newest number one manager in the world, Optimal. The drive to stay on top should be the difference in how deep each manager researches their gameplans to achieve the win. Optimal, right now, is the best at this.

Sonny’s pick - Having made this choice about the managers more than the fighters I am going with Arax Lightspeed for the second round KO.

Datte "Believe It" Bayo Vs Aktiv Vajag
- Welterweight -

21 year old Datte brings a 6-2 record to the cage tonight against the 28 year old Aktiv Vajag. Datte has been working extremely hard in the gym lately and his dominant execution of standup wars has had made him a fan favorite. Rumor has it he despises any ground game training and this may eventually catch up with him, but not this fight.
His opponent Aktiv is in a must win situation to keep his career alive. He’s 28 years old and struck out in his first 2 fights in Bellicose. He does have an avenue to victory here tonight with his edge and boxing and I hope his manager heavily considers using this as a lifeline to keep his fighter’s career afloat. Aktiv and the young Datte will most likely find themselves and they clinch eventually where Datte can unleash his secret weapon - those knees baby! Look for those devastating knees to the head and body to be the factor that cracks Aktiv Vajag’s granite chin and seals the victory.

Sonny’s pick: Datte Bayo - KO round 3

Shingen "The Tiger Of Kai" Takeda Vs “Onizaru" Toyotomi Ieyasu
Lightweight

Woohoo! You guys may be able to tell that I am a mark for a good ground fight and goddamn this one has me excited! This fight has the great backstory to offer as well. Rumor has it Shingen and Toyotomi trained in traditional Jujitsu together while growing up on the island nation of Japan. Nowadays both fighters are at the top of their games and in the premier organization to showcase their skills. Shingen is a blacbelt that comes in with an 8-2 record with all wins by Sub. Worth noting is that both of his losses have also come by substitution. If Toyotomi Ieyasu’s manager has done his research,  this could be the X factor to get after. In “The Tiger Of Kai" Takeda’s last fight he was subbed by a brown belt so this makes it even more of a target. Toyotomi Ieyasu has been taking a more quiet approach to his career. Some call it training hard and some call it marinating. Thus, this 20 year old has only spent just over 2 minutes total in the cage but has shown him promos by delivering quick subs in both outings. This should be his first “real” test on the ground. Let’s see where he’s really at.

Sonny’s Pick: Manager Jimmy Normal has been known to overlook the obvious though so you never know. However, I’m still going Totota or Toytony or T... whatever I quit... I’m going Toyota for the surprise sub win round 1!

James Carter Vs Miroslav Drozd
Lightweight

As we get into the lower portion of the card there can be some fights that are less impressive on paper than others. This is one of them. By all means James Carter (6-2) should absolutely steamroll poor Miroslav (3-4) tonight. Miroslav truly has the heart of a lion but even lions get eaten eventually. Look for the the well-managed Carter to get back on track in his winning ways with a newsflash worthy KO in the very first round. Carter got knocked by Razor Ramano in his last fight for his first taste of defeat in Bellicose and rumor has it he is looking to spit out that L and enjoy the sweet taste of Victory again from here on out.

Sonny’s Pick: James Carter - KO round 1

Jushin "Thunder" Liger Vs Francis OMalley
Lightweight

Anybody still reading this? Well for the first fight tonight and finally the last fight on the previews we have a very appropriate bottom card matchup between these 2 fighters with a stellar combined record of 4-7 with only a single win coming in Bellicose. You may have noticed the repetitive theme coming up that our Org filters out any weak sauce and unfortunately that is exactly what happened here. Luckily for these guys they have found each other at the bottom of the rankings so luckily one of them can take home the win! This fight should go to the ground almost immediately where they should tussle for a position and ground and pound. Although OMalley only has a white belt I can assume he has adequate sub D to wars off the blue belt Liger. Also OMalley‘s manager has shown at least interest in a quality gym and supplements for his fighter. Props on this advantage. Should be an adequate to pull the win.

Sonny’s Pick: Francis OMally by Decision

Well my people that’s all I have for you this morning. Time to get your pregame on and crack those beers, pack those bongs, drink your Gatorade, or just mainly enjoy whatever general debauchery makes your heart sing. It’s Bellicose 83 tonight folks! Let’s  go!

Slo Moegan: And now the challenger of tonight's title fight at 155 James Howlett. Everyone give him a round of applause. Tough loss tonight James. Was there anything that surprised you about the champion tonight?

James Howlett: He was about as good in takedown defense as I expected, obviously he KO'd me which I said was a real possibility so nothing there surprised me, and his grappling defense didn't surprise me either nothing I feel I'm unable to get the submission with. What did surprise me his transitioning ability and ability to keep me from transitioning. Must have been part of his game plan tonight. I'll submit him the next we fight GUARANTEED.

Slo Moegan: So does that put a damper on you taking anyone out and tapping them in division above you?

James Howlett: Not really it's up to Bellicose to make the fights but I know I'm able to submit any guy any given night. So if it's offered I'll fight it.

Slo Morgan: Do you think you and the champion will fight again?

James Howlett: For sure he's the best striker in the division and I'm the best grappler in the entire organization. So yeah we will meet again. If he holds onto the belt I'll be back for another title shot soon enough and if he loses it I'll be claiming and he'll earn his way back. We are both two young talented fighters so no doubt. First round goes to him, next round goes to me.

I'm going to be working on some rankings.  I completed them last night, but we had a new addition to 205 that I will have to rework in as he's a former Bellicose stand out.  These rankings are NOT going off the former rankings, but a new system that I use based on fighter's hype, record, recent win or loss streak, and p4p.  It's a mix of all those things and once I have it set, will mostly be adjusted based on recent wins and losses and strength of those wins or losses.  We'll be working on a fancy graphic for these, but for now it'll just be basic.  I will edit this post as I add one division at a time.

The list format is:  Rank / Name / Record / Win or Loss streak

135 (Bantamweight) Rankings

C. Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Sean Dash  Sean Dash - 135 lbs, BELLICOSE (375+)(9-3) +2

The undisputed Bantamweight champion of Bellicose.  A 2 fight win streak having taken the belt from Boris Bors in his last fight.  Is scheduled to defend his belt against #1 Pate Hunt on April 9th at Bellicose 85.

1.   Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Pate Hunt  Pate Hunt (5-1) 3

Hunt is riding a 3 fight win streak and his only loss in his career is against Pee Wee Sasaki.  Currently, he's lined up to fight for the belt at Bellicose 85, but Sasaki is breathing down his neck for the next in line.
2.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Pee Wee Sasaki  Pee Wee Sasaki (7-1) 3

New #1 contender after his last bout, Sasaki is on a roll making it 3 strait wins.  He's not #1 on this list due to the pending title fight, but he is the top contender and will be taking on the winner of Dash vs Hunt in his next bout.  He's just sitting and waiting, and licking his chops!
3.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Natalia Pisswater  Natalia Pisswater (3-2) 3

One of our transgender athletes, Natalia started with a rough 0-2 start but has come on strong of late winning 3 in a row.  She now joins the Bellicose roster and looks to make a statement as she faces #10 Max Chapman on April 9th at Bellicose 85.  Her current hype and win streak have started her off high in the division where she'll be put to the test early and often.
4.  Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Mad Hatter  Mad Hatter (4-2) 1

The Mad Hatter is another up and coming star who many find a bit on the strange side.  His appearance gets into the mind of his opponents but his skills gets to their face.  He suffered a brutal head kick KO loss to Pee Wee, but bounced back with a ruthless TKO victory over Sykora in Bellicose 80.  His next opponent is #7 Sonney Barella on April 16th at Bellicose 86.
5.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Bethania Valverde  Bethania Valverde (4-3) 1

Another of our Trans movement in the 135, Valverde joins Pisswater from HFC as she also looks to stamp out her place here in Bellicose.  She won her HFC finale and we are awaiting some fight results to see who her next opponent will be.
6.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Charles Sobhraj  Charles Sobhraj (7-8) -1

Sobhraj's record doesn't speak for his rank, at all.  Coming off a loss and dropping below .500 makes many question his  position on this list.  That's where fighter hype and ranking play a role.  He's got the hype and P4P rank to be on this list, and most of those below him just haven't had enough fights under their belt to jump in front of him.  He next faces #9 Michael Sykora on April 30th at Bellicose 89.  A loss in that fight will drop him on this list, and probably out of the top 10 all together.
7.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Sonny Barella  Sonny Barella (3-3) 1

Barella is another .500 fighter, but coming off a win helped his case.  He's yet to string anything together so is shuffling between the bottom of the top 10 with other fighters in the same boat.  He has a HUEG fight coming up against #4 Mad Hatter at Bellicose 86 that could catapult his career if he wins.

8.  Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Max Chapman  Max Chapman (4-3) -2

Max is on a 2 fight skid and falling down the rankings fast.  Due to the lack of experience at the bottom of this division, he's able to keep himself in the top 10, but honestly, that's not saying much.  He can change all of that and make a jump if he can win his next fight against #3 Natalia Pisswater at Bellicose 85.
9.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Michal Sykora  Michael Sykora (5-3) -2

Sykora is in the exact same boat as Max.  In fact, if it weren't for P4P and hype rankings giving Max the edge, he'd be in reverse positions.  He's on a 2 fight skid and needs a win in a big way against #6 Charles Sobhraj at Bellicose 89.
10.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Matt Damon  Matt Damon (1-1) 1

"I'm Matt Damon!"  It's MATT FREAKING DAMON!  Ok, not THAT Matt Damon, but we have a Matt Damon.  He's inexperienced in the division, but won his last fight in his Bellicose Debut which garnered him a spot on the top 10.  He fights unranked Tommy Harinck at Bellicose 89 and will look to jump in the rankings with a win.

There is currently no crowned champion, but that will change as we have a title fight scheduled. (Before I took over).  The rankings make that title fight look interesting, and will already have a line of contenders ready to fight for their spot at the next crack.

145 - (Featherweight) Rankings

1.  Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Temujin Atkiray  Temujin Atkiray (7-2) 1

Atkiray tops this list mainly due to his place in the title fight and being the favorite to win the belt.  He's 4-1 in Bellicose and after his loss to Daverio for the belt has bounced back with a win last time out against Girith.  Daverio's manager went MIA and we have not heard from Daverio since, so he is no longer the champ and no longer on the roster.  Time for a new era, and it begins on April 9th at Bellicose 85 when Atkiray faces #4 Lewis Pendragon.
2.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Jeryl Christ  Jeryl Christ (5-1) 5

Rising superstar and clear cut top contender to challenge for the belt, Christ has put together 5 strait wins, the last two of which were under the Bellicose brand.  He next faces #6 Clin Cartwright to solidify his claim at the #1 contender spot to challenge the winner of Atkiray vs Pendragon.
3.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Reinaldo Gracie  Reinaldo Gracie (5-1) 3

Gracie is on a 3 fight win streak and climbing the ranks fast as he throws his hat into the cage for the top contender spot.  Every bit as deserving as Pendragon, he probably feels a bit overlooked at this point in time.  But he'll get his chance to shine on April 16th at Bellicose 86 where he'll square off against #7 Marek Cervenka.
4.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Lewis Pendragon  Lewis Pendragon (5-3) 3

As previously stated, Pendragon is scheduled for the title fight at Bellicose 85.  He's earned that shot after a 3 fight win streak and going 2-0 thus far in his Bellicose career.  He has an uphill battle to climb in this match, but he looks to shock the world and take home the gold while everyone counts him out.
5.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Boris Bors  Boris Bors (5-1) -1

Making the move up to 145 from the 135, Bors lands at #5 on this list.  He hasn't yet fought in this division, but was a consistent contender at 135 and has the respect of his peers.  He has no fight pending at this time while he beefs up to make weight to compete in this larger division.
6.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Clin Cartwright  Clin Cartwright (3-0) 3

Cartwright is off to an impressive start having won each of his first three fights.  Undefeated at this stage may not set off a light show, but it's no small feat.  He was also 2-1 in his TWGC career, so his full record should actually be considered 5-1.  He has the biggest fight of his career staring him in the face as he prepares to square off against top contender Jeryl Christ at at Bellicose 86 on April 16th.  A win there would shock the world and shake up the division rankings for sure.
7.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Marek Cervenka  Marek Cervenka (5-4) 2

Cervenka, and I wonder if he's related to my old Jr. High principal Willie Cervenka, is 4-2 in Bellicose and a fan favorite.  He's won his last two fights and would love nothing more than to make it 3 in a row after he faces #3 Gracie at Bellicose 86.  If he pulls off that win, he'll be vaulted into the top 5 and knocking on the door of a contender bout.
8.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Miyata San  Miyata San (5-1) -1

He started off 5-0 and riding high until losing his title fight in his last outing.  With the GDL closing it's doors, the top contender took his talents to Bellicose where he awaits his debut against #10 Yamasaki Mishimoto.  He has every confidence he'll defeat this fighter, and rightly so.  A win here will give him some leverage to move up the ranks and challenge bigger fish.
9.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Nakachi Tadageru  Nakachi Tadegeru (2-0) 2

Tadegeru is 2-0 in his young career, but there's a mean streak to this dude.  He's ready to put that aggression to work as he faces off against Joshi Dell at Bellicose 85.
10.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Yamasaki Mishimoto Yamasaki Mishimoto (5-5) -1

Mishimoto rounds off this list dispite falling in his last fight to Alfonzo.  He's batting .500 and hopes to jump back into the win column against #8 San which not only will give him a boost and chance to move up the rankings, but prevent him from dropping out of the top 10 all together.

155 - (Lightweight) Rankings

C.  Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Rak Boonliang  Rak Boonliang (7-0) 7

Undefeated thus far, Rak has become the undisputed Bellicose lightweight champion.  He's a man amongst boys and has mowed down everyone to stand in front of him.  He will headline Bellicose 89, the promotions first ever PPV in his title defense against #1 Davante Dunbar.  This should be an epic battle between two of the divisions best.
1.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Davante Dunbar  Davante Dunbar (6-1)  2

Dunbar had a quick, and I mean quick, submission victory over his last opponent Everett Covington in his #1 contender bout.  Now, he'll face the challenge of a lifetime as he steps into the cage with the champ to see who will walk away with that green and gold strap!
2.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Sammy Nyla  Sammy Nyla (6-4)  4

Nyla is the only top 5 fighter with 4 losses under his belt, but he's countered that by ripping off 4 straight wins in the division.  Knocking on the door to a contender spot, Nyla needs to put away #4 Datte Bayo at Bellicose 89.  If he can do this, he'll  be the #1 contender and next in line for his shot at the champ.
3.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - James Howlett  James Howlett (5-1)  -1

Howlett was on a tear with 5 strait wins and earned himself a title shot.  Then he met Rak, and as you can see, Rak is still the champ.  Howlett relied solely on his ground game but was not able to keep the fight on the ground.  And when you go toe to toe with a beast like Rak, that's not an idea situation.  He will be licking his wounds and getting ready for the next fighter Bellicose throws his way to get back into the winning ways.
4.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Datte Bayo  Datte Bayo (7-2) 1

Bayo won his first 5 strait fights and then changed managers.  Since then, he's 2-2 having alternated wins and losses.  Coming off a win in his last bout, he hopes to keep the momentum as he faces Nyla.  If he can defeat Nyla, he'll be ready to jump into a #1 contender match and make his bid for a crack at Rak.  Or, whoever the champion is at that point...
5.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - James Carter  James Carter (6-2) 1

The man smokes and is still a physical specimen.  After losing a tough decision loss to Romano, Carter righted the ship and defeated Drozd at Bellicose 83 to get back into the top 5.  If he can take out #7 Shingen Takeda at Bellicose 90, he'll be knocking on the door for contender status.  Very good chance if he wins this match, he'll be facing the winner of Nyla vs Bayo for the #1 contender spot.
6.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Razor Ramano  Razor Ramano (6-4) -1

Ramano had been climbing the rankings until he ran into Nyla in his last fight.  Having previously defeated Carter, he was well on his way to a contender shot until that happened.  Now, he's taking a short break and waiting for things to sort themselves out before we offer him his next opponent.  For now, he's sitting just on the cusp of the top 5 and still only a win or two away form being back into the contender spotlight.
7.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Shingen Takeda  Shingen Takeda (9-2) 1

Man, what a hard fall.  Takeda was 7-0 and after winning his Bellicose debut in the title fight.  Unfortunately, he lost that fight against Covington and then lost his very next fight against Dunbar.  He was able to turn things around at Bellicose 83 and stop his fall down this list, but it won't be any easier for him as he takes on #5 Carter at Bellicose 90.  A win here will catapult him into the top 5 and put him back where many believe he belongs.
8.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Nixon Mesquita  Nixon Mesquita (5-1) 2

Nixon has a solid record of 5-1 and is riding a 2 fight win streak.  Though he's one of the younger fighters on this list, he's hungry and looking to climb.  His morale is a bit on the down side due to personal matters, so Bellicose is holding off on giving him a fight at this time to let him clear his head.
9.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Shalak Kamir  Shalak Kamir (3-1-1) 1

This Rambo look alike has experienced it all in his young career.  He's a winner, but he's tasted defeat and suffered the bitterness of a draw.  Nothing tastes worse than fighting for nothing, with no winner declared. He comes in at #9 on our list and looks to make his Bellicose debut after an impressive win over a fighter from camp Sitsongrit in his previous promotion.  He will kick his Bellicose career off against Von Alkum if both fighters ink the dotted line.
10.
Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Miroslav Drozd  Miroslav Drozd (3-5)

Not the most impressive resume and having lost his last two fights, his experience and hype are the only thing keeping him at the bottom of the top 10.  When his next opponent arises, it'll be a fight he must win.
