RISE 93 OFFICIAL PREVIEW

8/26 MAIN CARD

Deacon Fries (8-4-0) vs Eh “Little Scorpion” Phuthong (5-5-0)

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are kicking the main card with a bout in the Bantamweight division.

Deacon is the “veteran” of our company you might say with his debut being back at RISE 9 where he got a second-round submission which earned him a sub of the night, not long after he was riding a 5-fight winning streak which earned him a title shot against James Clerk Maxwell, their fight was razor close going 2-2 into the fifth round in which Deacon got a submission win 8 seconds before the end of the fight becoming champion, but what happened next couldn’t be pleasant for him, currently he is riding a 3-fight losing streak all via KO, Deacons main plan is obviously to take the fight to the ground and get another submission win with him having a superior BJJ skills but let’s talk a bit about his opponent right now, “Little Scorpion” is currently 1-1 with the promotion as well as 1-1 with his new manager, his loss is coming from a guy that Deacon defeated for a title James Clerk Maxwell via KO in the 3rd round but after that he bounced back with a decision win against Lefty Johnson.

Looking at their attributes we can see that both fighters are equal to each other in Muay Thai and Wrestling departments but Deacon has superior BJJ while “Scorpion” is a better boxer which might be the key factor to him winning this fight. If I had to choose I would Side with the more experienced Deacon, I believe that this is the match-up that he can win considering that Eh has 5 decision wins and no KO ones which considering Deacon latest outings might be the best thing that could’ve happened to him

My official prediction: Deacon 2nd Round Submission

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Marcel Thibodeaux (5-3-0) vs Mikail Spartakov (4-2-1)

In the next bout of the main card, we are giving you some heavy hitters in the Heavyweight division.

Let’s start with Marcel, he is currently riding a streak in the promotion, being 3-0 all via first round knockout so we might see a quick fight in there, Marcel of course is an excellent boxer but, does not have a boxing advantage this time.  His opponent Mikail seems to be slightly ahead in that area but these two are in the different points in their career right now. Marcel is currently on the roll as we said before and has all the momentum behind him while Spartakov is coming off a 2nd round KO loss in his last fight.
What is the prediction for this fight? I would say that the fight will end in the 1st round honestly, both guys losses are all due to a KO but If I had to choose which one out of these two gentlemen will get a win, I would side with Marcel mainly because of his current streak and him being probably the more confident fighter in this bout .

My official prediction: Thibodeaux via 1st Round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Felipe "The Guillotine" Garotinho (8-3-0) vs Kovalevsky Petrov (3-1-0)

After some heavy hitters we are changing the narrative completely with our next bout being held at 170 Welterweight division with two ground specialists.

Felipe knows how to work his opponent on the mat early and get a submission of course but he also knows how it feels to get a last seconds Hail Mary sub just like he did in his last bout against Ostrowski where let’s be real, he was losing that fight but 4 seconds before the final bell he snatched on the Rear Naked Choke and got the win which is an impressive thing to do of course and all props to him for that but in front of him this time would be standing another submission artist in Petrov.

Petrov is coming off a win against the same guy that Felipe faced in his last bout in Ostrowski but there’s a difference between these two bouts and how they played out, Garotinho was getting dominated on the feet in that fight and was soundly losing it, but Petrov even though he lost the first round he was putting up a fight on the feet, even ending up with him knocking Ostrowski down in the second round which led to him jumping onto Ostrowski on the ground and subbing him in the second via Triangle, so we can see that Petrov even though he is a fighter that mainly operates with submissions he can also throw hands in there.

Kovalevsky is just a better stand-up fighter than Felipe and I feel like having that kind of advantage will lead him into not wanting to go to the ground in this bout but with Felipe having a superior wrestling it might be harder said than done.

My official prediction: Petrov via decision

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING (inner Bruce Buffer kicking in):

Jackson "El Tigre" Alvarez (9-3-0) vs Jere Luokkamaki (5-5-0)

Our co-main event is taking place in the Featherweight division in which we will see the former champion trying to get back into the win column.

Alvarez had an interesting start into our organization because his first bout didn’t even take place because of Alvarez having a terrible weight cut and with the doctors stating that he would unable to compete. After that his fight against Danis got rebooked in which he got a UD win. Following that he won his next two bouts which granted him a title fight against the foe he has faced before in Danis once again where Alvarez came out victorious this time knocking Dillon out in the first round. He managed to defende his title once but his title reign came to an end due to Toby MacAlister knocking him out in the first round. If he had won his next bout after losing the title he would probably have been granted a rematch but once again he lost in the first round via a Triangle choke against Charles Mesquita.

Jackson might want to go out there and make a statement considering his last two outings haven't went his way, but in front of him he has a challenge in Jere Luokkamaki.  Luokkamaki might be considered as a bit of a journeyman by some but trust me that this guy knows how to fight & his record might not tell the full story of his abilities, but he is a tough test nonetheless even for the former champion.

Jere has a Muay Thai advantage in that bout same as a slight one in the wrestling department, Alvarez obviously has better boxing but there’s one thing that concerns me about this fight and that being Jacksons weight cut, right now he is still slightly above the weight limit, even though he still has time to cut it, it does not look good knowing that he had problem with weight in the past.
Do I think that he will make it? Of course, but Do I think that he might not be 100% of himself in there? Yes, I do.

With that being said I do think we might see a major upset in this bout but if I had a gun to my head, I would say that Jere will get a decision win.

My official prediction: Jere via Decision

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING:

Robert "Golden Crotch" Kelly (4-0-0) vs Ante Novak (3-0-0)

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

The main event will be taking place in the Middleweight division between two hot prospects squaring off. Which one of them will keep their momentum going? Remember that someone's 0 must go. That being said let’s take a closer look at the fighters.

Robert Kelly is a 22-year-old fighter who's 3-0 currently with the promotion with two submissions of the night awards.  Just looking at that we can see where he will seek the win the bout. He is shorter than his opponent but also, he is much heavier than Ante. When we take that into consideration that Robert wil be wanting to take this fight to the ground, it couldbig advantage in this bout for him. He has far superior BJJ to his opponent and a slightly better wrestling which he has to use to take this fight into his realm on the ground.

His opponent is younger by a year, a 21-year-old Croatian KO artist Ante Novak, this is a kid who knows how to put his opponents to sleep, with him never seeing 3rd round in his career.  That being said, his opponent has a decision win on his record in his last bout so we know that he can hang in there for 15 minutes, but we haven't seen hat from Novak.  Maybe he won’t even need to and he will finish the fight in the first round, who knows.

Both youngsters are hungry for a win here.  Kelly as we stated before has a wrestling and BJJ advantage, while Novak being a better striker in overall, leaving us with a classic striker vs grappler match-up.

History shows that grapplers mostly come out victorious from such bouts.
We must take into consideration that Novak's opponents never tried to shoot for a takedown against him so we don’t know how well he will be able to stop the ones of Kelly.

I want to pick Novak to win it so badly, but I just can’t, he wasn’t tested in there by a grappler really and we don’t know how good his takedown defense is, him not going the full distance in a fight might be a nail in the coffin for him so I will side with Robert Kelly winning our main event.

My official prediction: Robert via 3rd round submission

RISE 94 OFFICIAL PREVIEW

8/28 MAIN CARD

Ladies and Gentlemen, we welcome you into our RISE 94 main card!

Oba Umar (4-4-0) vs Kush Cake (5-2-0)

Welcome everyone, we are opening the main card of RISE 94 with the rematch bout between the 2 heavyweights.
In their first fight Kush Cake dominated the whole fight with his clinch work but most importantly with his body punches, he threw 137 of them (connected with 69) with zero head punches from the distance throughout the whole fight.
Do I think that Umar will surprise everyone and will pull off the upset win?
Not really, he is slightly better in Muay Thai and BJJ but that’s probably not going to be enough even though Umar lately broke his 4-fight losing streak with a 26 second KO win in the first round but, Cake showed that he can neutralize Umar for 15 minutes straight and I don’t see the other outcome in this rematch.

My official prediction: Cake via decision

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Alexander Mesquita (5-1-0) vs Homer Greatrix (0-2-0)

In our next fight we are heading into the Welterweight division with a little mismatch, or at least it seems that way when we look at the participants and their records.
Alexander Mesquita is obviously the member of the Mesquita clan that are known for their BJJ skills and Alexander is no different to them with him being a BJJ black belt but don’t let it fool you because he knows how to give his opponents a good ground and pound with 3 of his 5 finishes coming by the way of ground strikes, also worth mentioning is the fact that Alexander never left the first round in any of his fight unlike his opponent so now let’s talk about him.
Greatrix might seem like a lamb thrown out for a slaughter by just looking at his record but don’t let his record fool you, Homer has very good Boxing and Muay Thai skills and he knows how to stop a takedown attempt from a better wrestler when he showed it against Jim Babcock, but will it be enough to stop Alexander?
If I had to choose I would side with Homer to get an upset 55% to 45% and when it comes to the rounds, well the fight might end in the first one

My official prediction: Greatrix via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Lester "Beetlejuice" Green (6-4-0) vs Zombie Lee (6-2-0)

Next bout will take place in the Bantamweight division, and it is between the 2 KO artists in Zombie Lee and Lester Green.

Both fighters might have a different momentum from each other, Green is coming off a win via KO in the second round in his last outing while Zombie got subbed in under a minute IN A TITLE FIGHT which might ruin his confidence in his abilities.

“Beetlejuice” is the higher and more experienced out of these 2 fighters with also possessing advantages in wrestling and more importantly in this bout in boxing which might be a key factor in it, Zombie might be able to close the distance and catch Lester with something, but I don’t see it in all honesty.

In my opinion this fight will end via a KO for sure even though both fighters have never been knocked out before, but with that kind of a fire power in there I don’t see any other outcome than a KO.

My official prediction: “Beetlejuice” via 2nd round tko.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE CO-MAIN EVENT,  FOR THE WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

REIGNING CHAMP Linkavitch Chomofsky (6-1-0) vs Muenster Romano (7-1-0)

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, we are heading right into our co-main of the evening, which is for the 170lb championship; where we will see the rematch between two fighters that met against each other back at RISE 64 with Chomofsky taking the comfortable win in just two minutes of the very first round.

Back then, it wasn’t a title bout though & this changes a lot trust me. For example both fighters are more experienced than they used to be at the time of their first meeting in the octagon and they showed a lot of improvements in their game but also there is a title in the picture now.

Chomofsky wants to keep his title in his first defense of it and his opponent, the challenger, Romano wants to kill two birds with one stone, he wants to avenge his only career loss and he wants to get that belt around his waists and how exactly does he want to do it?

Romanos focus on that fight will be to keep it on the feet as long as he can and if it hits the ground to avoid getting subbed at all costs, he has a slightly better boxing on paper, but those 5 KO wins are not coming from nothing and with that being said Chomofsky will try to do what he does best, take the fight to the ground and sub his opponent just like he did in their first outing between each other.
What will prevail? We have a good fight between a grappler and striker in here just before the main event which will hopefully keep the crowd on their feet at all times.

It’s a tough match-up to predict really, on the one hand we have a champion that just won his belt and has all the momentum behind him and a mental advantage over his opponent with already beating him in their first bout, but on the other hand we have a hungry challenger who is looking for his revenge and this title is probably just a thing being there as a dessert and the main focus is onto avenging his only loss.

That being said I do think we will see a good fight and hopefully a longer one than in their first outing but looking at the improvements that Romano made when it comes to his grappling and takedown defense I have to give him a slight edge in that bout.

My official prediction: Romano via 2nd round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

AND NOW ONTO THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP SPECTACLE IN THE BANTAMWEIGHT DIVISION

THE CHAMPION Rudy Beckwith (9-1-0) vs Prince McVicker (8-0-0)

My prediction for the fight? BANGER!

We will see if the youngster from Cambridge will make his first defense, or will the American in our challenger McVicker take the belt home with him?

McVicker has never lost in his career he is dangerous on the ground but also has some decent hands to throw in there.  If I have to guess he will seek his chance in this bout with his boxing and Muay Thai, but will it be enough to take out the champ?

Rudy Beckwith only lost in his debut and after that he has been on a roll Ladies and Gentlemen with him finishing every single one of his fights and how does he do it? By using his high-level grappling, all of his wins are coming by the way of submission and that means that he knows what he’s doing.

Once again just like in our co-main event bout we have a fight where the Champ wants to take the fight to his realm on the ground while Challenger will try to keep it on the feet, but what If I’m wrong and McVicker will actually try to grapple with Beckwith? Then I hope that he will change his training camp after that because I don’t see a world where McVicker will survive all 5 rounds with Beckwiths ground game, I might wrong though, and I would love Prince to show me that I was stupid by making that statement.

Now for real what is my take on that fight and the outcome of it?
As I already said I don’t see how McVicker can win this fight other than knocking Beckwith out somehow, if that doesn’t happen, I see Beckwith getting another submission win on his record with his first title defense with it.

My official prediction: Beckwith via 2nd round Submission

RISE 95 OFFICIAL PREVIEW

9/2 MAIN CARD

Ladies and Gentlemen, we welcome you into our RISE 95 main card! We hope to bring you an electrifying night of entertainment! Without any further hesitation, lets get on with the evening's bouts!

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Ahmir “Royalty” BROWN (3-0-0) vs Bruno DUKIC (4-4-0

We are opening the main card with the bout in the welterweight division, where we will see one of our prospects of the division back in action.

Ahmir Brown is currently undefeated and is 2-0 with the promotion, and all of his fights ended by a first round KO. His opponent Dukic lost two times by a KO and both of them came in the first round, so my money says we will see it again in this bout.

I don’t see a way for Dukic to win this bout, even though he is currently riding a great 3-fight winning streak on his own, I just see Brown taking this bout in the first, he has a boxing advantage, neither of them goes to the ground in this fight probably so we can expect fireworks from the opening bell and probably a first-round finish.

My official prediction: Brown via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Metbal SKABETTI (4-1-0) vs Panagiotis NIKOLAU (4-3-0)

We are moving up a bit and bringing you a bout in the light heavyweight division, between Skabetti and Nikolau and the fact that these guys love to keep it standing and trade on the feet guarantees you that, it is going to be a great fight from start to finish.

On the one hand we have a young Italian in Skabetti in his first fight with the promotionm, who is currently riding a 4-fight winning streak and all of them being by the courtesy of KO. He will probably look to keep it that way, with his latest victory earned him a KO of the night with a beautiful head kick that he landed on Thorulf Hammar in the first round in Bellicose.

On the other hand, we have Nikolau that is coming of a decision loss to Seppo Maki whom he defeated previously in his career with a 3rd round KO and after losing to Maki in his latest bout he wants to get back into the winning column for sure, but will he be able to?

Even though on paper it looks like Nikolau has an advantage in wrestling, I believe it is mainly due to him having a great takedown and grappling defense, but Skabbeti has a Muay Thai advantage and knowing that he might look to clinch up with his opponent in this bout.

Both fighters are equal to each other in boxing, but that Muay Thai advantage that Skabetti possesses might be crucial for him winning that fight so with that in mind I have to lean Skabetti in this one.

My official prediction: Skabetti via 3rd round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Hawk “Funkmeister” FLEXIMARIO (4-3-0) vs Elinho MINEIRO (7-3-0)

Ladies and Gentlemen, we want to welcome you into the last heavyweight bout on the whole card where we will witness the former champion, the submission ace Elinho Mineiro taking on well-known Knockout artist in Hawk Fleximario.

Mineiro as we said before was our heavyweight champion, but after earning his belt, he lost it in his next bout against Derrick Thomas by a first-round knockout. But his bad luck didn’t end there, because after that in his last bout he also was knocked out in the first round, but this time by Jimmy Labradoodle. Now he seeks his way back to the top and in front of him will be standing another knockout threat in Fleximario.

The guy knows how to switch the light off for his opponent, so we know what’s the gameplan is for both of the fighters, one wants to keep it standing while the other wants to take this fight to the mat and seek the submission.

I do think that a lot of people are writing Fleximario off based on his record and knowing that he is facing a former champion, but if you want the underdog pick of the card, I think this is the one.
I would lean towards Fleximario getting it done via the first round KO considering that he possesses a lot of power and his opponent got cracked in his previous bouts as it was shown.

My official prediction: Fleximario via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

Cestmir CEJKA (6-4-0) vs Kimmo Peramaki (6-3-0)

In our co-main event, we are dropping down to welterweight division. We might say that we will see the same match-up as in the last bout between Fleximario and Mineiro, and once again we will see the grappler vs striker match-up same as we will see the former champion trying to get back into the winning circle, so basically yeah a bit of déjà vu don’t you think?

Peramaki is our former 170 champ that managed to get the belt in his bout against Luca Altieri where he managed to get a submission win in the first round, but after that same thing happened as with Mineiro, he got knocked out in the first round against Darrell Newsome. But unlike Mineiro, he bounced back in his next bout against Amarillo Brillo where he subbed his opponent in the 3rd round.  In his next bout once again he got knocked out in the first round this time by the now champion Muenster Romano.

On the other hand, his opponent Cestmir Cejka is also coming off a KO loss in his bout against Darrell Newsome so we see the similarities, he is currently 4-4 in the promotion with all his bouts ending without even leaving the second round, and I do think it will stay that way after this fight considering that both fighters are known for finishing or being finished in their fights (only one decision in their records combined).

In this bout I do favor the grappler to get it done, I feel like Peramaki might still show his skills in this bout and once again prove that he is able to get a comeback to the elite of the division.

My official prediction: Peramaki via 2nd round submission

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN

“Ulfhednar” Toke AXELSEN (7-2-0) vs Tagnarach KAMARA (4-0-0)

In the main event as we mentioned before we are staying with the clash nearing the top of the welterweight division, where we will see two great fighters that are both on 4-fight winning streak with 7 of those 8 bouts ending by the way of KO so as you might guess we will see a lot of fireworks in this bout.

Kamara has been with our promotion since the beginning of his career, with him winning his debut against Ray Lee. After the UD he has been on a tear finishing all 3 of his next opponents via KO, with his latest 48-second finish on Gabriel Soares earning him the KO of the night award.

His opponent Axelsen has been on a tear in the promotion as well, after losing his debut against Linkavitch Chomofsky via second round RNC, he bounced back and went on a 4-fight finishing streak with none of those bouts leaving the second round.

-In this bout Axelsen will possess a slight advantage in boxing, but the biggest difference is the Muay Thai, Kamara has far better Muay Thai than his opponent and I feel like we might see him utilizing that in this bout especially.

I do think that this fight will be a close one and a good one for sure, but with the advantage that Kamara possesses in the department of Muay Thai I do have to favor him to win it and considering that both fighters are not leaving the second round quite often I do see the fight ending in the second.

My official prediction: Kamara via 2nd round KO

RISE 95 POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE

Tagnarach Kamara
(5-0)

Boy's (Toke Axelsen) tough. Can't take that from the lad. I hit him with good shots, and I hit like a fucking truck. He still took that first round, yeah? Caught me good in the first minute of the fight with a nice combo, cut me up. I was looking for the head kick. He ate a good one early and another got away from me, not my finest performance, but overall it was a good fight. He's tough as nails, It would've taken the championship rounds to finish the job and put him away, but I'm built for those rounds.

ROMANO: "I was impressed to both of you make it all the way to the final bell.  Both guys are tougher than I gave them credit form. The simple facts of the matter, though is that it won't matter too much once you step in that cage with me. I'm the best in the division and this guy just isn't ready for the tools I possess. Seems like he might have some power in his hands, but he's gonna have to connect with those big shots to even have a chance.  Great win though and congratulations. Best of luck."

RISE 96 OFFICIAL PREVIEW

9/4 MAIN CARD

Elijah ANDERSON (3-0) vs Dexter “Gentleman” ROUSSEL (3-2)

In the opening bout of our main card, we will give you some action in the Light heavyweight division.
When the unproven, undefeated prospect faces against a nice French Gentleman.

Elijah Anderson is currently undefeated and is riding a 3-fight finishing streak, but we have to keep something in mind, even though he has finished all of his opponents via KO, he still hasn’t fought in any org at all, and all of his fights were in the QFC whereas you can guess the opposition is not top tier, so he will face his first real test in Roussel.

Dexter had a bit of a rough path In our organization considering that before coming here he was in the same place as Anderson with him riding a 3-0 record, but then he dropped 2 to Robert Brown via Unanimous decision and in his latest outing he got TKO’ed late in the third round by Haruki Joshnson, but he is looking to get back into the winning form once again.

To be honest that’s basically a pick’em fight considering that both fighters are nearly equal in all of the departments. Roussel has a slight advantage on his side, having in the back of our heads that this is going to be the first big fight for Anderson I think that he might crumble under pressure.

My official prediction: Roussel via 2nd Round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Shozo “Showtime” Amisaki (4-3) vs Darius THIBODEAUX (3-3)

In our next bout we'll be staying in the light heavyweight division.

Amisaki been having a bit of a rough time in our org lately considering he lost 2 of his last bouts and both via 1st round stoppage and I truly believe that we might see the same in this one considering the opponent that will be standing in front of him.

Darius Thibodeaux had a rough start into his career going 0-2 but he managed to break it with a 1st round KO of Kevin Waters back at RISE 22, after that he dropped a decision to Ward Shaver and was 1-3 but then he managed to get 2 KO’s that bounced him into the 3-3 record and 3-2 with the promotion.

I truly believe that Darius will just knockout Amisaki in the first, he has advantage in every aspect and there’s no way that Amisaki will win this one and there’s truly nothing more to add with this one

My official prediction: Thibodeaux via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Jair “Bright” Brown (3-1-0) vs Tarrell Newsome (5-2-1)

Now we are moving down to lightweight division with a bout between 2 fighters that are truly on great runs with our promotion.

Jair Brown is currently riding a 3-fight win streak in our promotion with his latest outing being a decision win against a former title contender in Richard Mesquita, this fight may have title  implications considering that both fighters will be on a roll and a lot of momentum behind them when they get a W in this bout.

Against Brown will be standing Tarrell Newsome, who has been with the promotion since RISE 13 where he scored a 20 second KO vs Ricky Cain and is currently riding a 2-fight winning streak of his own with both of them being awarded the performance of the night award, his latest win being a UD win against Pacome Thibodeaux.

Tarrell is 5-1 with the promotion with his only loss coming by the way of KO by the hands of the current title contender at 170, the undefeated sitting at 5-0 Tagnarach Kamara so not a bad loss when you look back at it.

This bout is pretty even on paper with Brown having some advantage in some departments, but with that being said it’s nothing that significant so we might see a good scrap.

To be honest it will be really hard to tell which one of these fighters will get away with the W so I might just say that this will be a fight of the night going the full distance.

My official prediction: Jair Brown via split decision

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE CO-MAIN EVENT
Joaquin Osuna (3-0) vs Thomas “TANK” Rose (3-0)

We are giving you some good action in the heavyweight division right before our main event with 2 fearsome KO artists that are almost equal to each other, and we guarantee you that you do not want to miss this one at all, we hope that you will be glued to your seats for this one because it will definitely be worth it.

On the one hand we have the Mexican Joaquin Osuna that is 1-0 with the promotion with his win coming by the way of TKO against Marcel Tower late in the first round where he showed his dominance in clinch outclassing Tower with it and getting his 3rd win by stoppage in his career, so you can expect that he will look for the number 4 on his resume, but the same could be said about his opponent.

Thomas Rose is just like his opponent 3-0 with all of his wins coming by the way of stoppage. He is currently 2-0 with the promotion with wins over Rade Franjic, the now champion, and his latest win that earned him the fight of the night award against Ludwig Boltzmann where he had to overcome some adversities because of a cut that Ludwig gifted to him. It seemed to bother Rose through this bout but he showed tremendous heart and overcame.  What else is there to say about this one?
Both fighters are extremely equal to each other and on paper they are identical, but as we said Rose faced some adversities in his last fight and he knows how to overcome them, and we don’t know how his opponent would react to things like that.

I might give a slight advantage for the “TANK” in this one considering that it seems like he has a better chin than his opponent and knows how to overcome adversities in a fight so far.

My official Prediction: VIOLENCE

THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

FOR THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

THE CHAMPION Kane “THE BOSS” THOUPOOOOOOOS (7-1)

vs

THE CHALLENGER Nikolai KAAASPEEERSKYYYYY (6-1)

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, we are ending with a BANG!

A fight for the title in the 185 division.

The reigning, defending champ Kane Thoupos is looking to defend his belt for the 3rd time and extend his winning streak to 8 right now.  Oh, and did we mention that all of his wins ended by a KO/TKO? We can guarantee you that “The Boss” will be looking for another finish to add to his highlight reel.

In front of him will be standing a tough as nails Russian Wrestler in Nikolai Kaspersky, who is on a hot streak on his own right now with a 6-fight win streak of oppressing his opponents that will try to spoil the reign of the dominant Estonian.

You can see both fighters lost in their debut bouts, but Kaspersky’s had a much tougher pill to swallow considering that he got knocked out in just 5 seconds by a head kick. He's managed to get himself back together since then and is on a tear looking incredible.
T
his is your typical striker vs grappler match-up you might say, where Thoupos will try to keep it standing as much as he can and apply pressure with his strikes, while Kaspersky will try to drag his opponent to the ground and impose his will.

We don’t know how the takedown defense and ground game of Thoupos looks. His camp says he's prepared for anything Kaspersky has for him, but we will so how it holds up against such a grappler like Kaspersky.
We have to keep one thing in mind in this bout, the Muay Thai advantage that Kane possesses is absolutely MAAAASSIVE and we know that he likes to clinch up with his opponents and dominate them from there, just as he showed in his last bout against Leonardo Esposito where he knocked him out early in the second round.
Even though we don’t know how good is Thoupos Takedown Defense against such a grappler like Kaspersky, he might show us that he is ready for these kind of challenges in front of him and he has been preparing for it for quite some time considering that Kaspersky has been on a roll.
I do think that we will see a hell of a fight, but I feel like at the end of this bout we will hear

AND STILL!

My official Prediction: Thoupos via 5th round KO

RISE 99

9/16/2022

The opener of the main card:

Sam “Beloved Bandit” BASS (3-2) vs Ghost CHAI (4-1)

We are opening the main card with a bout in the heavyweight division.

Sam Bass is currently on a 3-fight winning streak after a rough start to his career going 0-2, he managed to bounce back and is on a roll with 3 first round finishes, 2 of them being with RISE against Westley Adofo and Gabrijel Bozic and now he is more than pleased to welcome a newcomer into our promotion.

Ghost Chai as I mentioned is making his promotional debut against Bass, Chai himself is on a 3-fight winning streak, with all of them coming by the way of KO with his latest fight being an 18 second KO of Lucas Maia, but let’s be real it wasn’t a good opponent, and the fight was in QFC so I wouldn’t really count that one as much as normal fight in an org.

The fight is basically over for me in the first, Bass has all the advantages and I feel like he will use them to get an easy win

My official prediction: Bass via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Euan “Mr Nice Guy” Daxton (5-2) vs Milan “Lanmi-Majami” Ponjevic (4-0)

In our next bout we are moving to light heavyweight division where we will see another debutant going up against one of our more experienced and older fighters.

Daxton is 2-1 with the promotion with his loss coming by the hands of Mike Hunt in his promotional debut where he got knocked out in the 3rd round, currently he is on a 2-fight winning streak both being a first-round finishes and he is looking to add the third one into that considering that he has a massive advantage when you compare both fighters' stand-up, but his opponent won’t even think about keeping it on the feet and will try to get it as soon as possible to his realm on the ground.
Ponjevic is a dangerous submission specialist with all 4 of his wins coming by the way of submission and all of them being in the first round to add into it.

He fought for Slavic FL before it closing and he managed to get 2 wins in there with one of them earning him sub of the night award against Masa Saitoh, so we basically know the game plan for both of the fighters in this one.

Pretty hard fight to predict in my opinion, really depends if Milan will be able to take Daxton down or not, if Daxton will be able to keep it on the feet, he will knockout Ponjevic with ease but considering that Euan has a slight wrestling advantage I might lean towards him a little bit.

My official prediction: Daxton via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

James Butler “Wild Bill” HICKOK (5-2) vs Powder “Rocky” PUFF (7-2)

We are once again back in the heavyweight division and most likely we will see another 1st round finish in this one considering 14 out of 16 combined fights of these 2 came to an end in the first.
Hickok is making his promotional debut, after bouncing from Outlaw to Bellicose and spending his whole career in these 2 orgs and he is ready move on and show everyone that he is ready to dominate RISE.

In front of him we will see a familiar face, because we’ve seen Powder Puff in RISE already back at RISE 26 where he went up against Oba Umar (not a good loss when you look back at it considering that Umar was the guy that lost a decision to Kush that refused to hit him in the head lol) where he lost by a TKO (Holy fuck that’s even worse) but he managed to bounce back and went on a nice run going 4-1 after that loss and he is ready to show his new skills, but will he be able to against “Wild Bill”?

The fight is quite even, but I just can’t look at that Oba Umar loss and think that everything is fine now, just because of that flop in the past I will side with Hickok, but I would love to get pleasantly surprised by Puff and to see him get a win here and prove me wrong.

My official prediction: Hickok via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

Toe JAM (6-1) vs Darrell NEWSOME (8-2)

In our co-main event, we will set our sights on the welterweight division in a bout between two former champions, one from our organization and the other from GFC before it’s closing.

Darrell Newsome is ready to continue his quest for getting his belt back, currently he is coming off a win against Cestmir Cejka in the second round that earned him a fight of the night award, a much-needed win after losing his belt and then a bout after to Axelsen and he is looking to get another win that would get him closer to getting his belt back, but in front of him he will face another former champion from other organization in Toe Jam.

Jam is a very good boxer, and he knows how to use his skills to set up a deadly punch to rock his opponents, but how will he look after quite some break from fighting?

He used to be a champion at GFC, but he won it at their last event before closing so we don’t really know his level right now, he is coming of a win in Slavic FL, another org that’s closed already so how can we know if he is the real deal? This is the fight to put it to a test!

As I mentioned, Jam has a boxing advantage that he will most likely look to use, while Newsome has a massive advantage in Muay Thai so we might see a good stand-up battle.
I will side with Newsome, just because we don’t really know the true level of Toe Jam.

My official prediction: Newsome via 3rd round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE ARE BACK FOR SOME MORE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT ACTION AND IT’S FOR THE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

In the blue corner THE CHALLENGER with an undefeated record of 4 wins and no losses seeking the first title of his career, fighting out of Distrito Federal Mexico,

JOSE “EL SAGADOR” CAAAASTEEELLAAAANOOOOOOS

And now in the red corner THE CHAMPION Coming for the first title defense of his new reign after reclaiming his throne at the top of the division with the record of 7 wins and 2 losses, fighting out of Malta,

MAAAAASTEEEEER LEADEEEEEEEER

We are going to find out if Master Leader will be able to defend his title more than once this time as last time when he was the champion, he managed to defend his title against Komedor DKasada, where he won via TKO in the 4th round, but then in his next bout he dropped his title to Mike Hunt in the first when he got knocked out by a punch.

After that he managed to get a second round KO win over Nedjeliko Markovic and secured his rematch against Hunt for the title.

This time he managed to get it done himself in the second round reclaiming his title and now he is set for his first title defense against an undefeated Castellanos.

“The Reaper” is coming off a win over Shozo Amisaki at RISE X5 in the first round by TKO that earned him a title shot at Leader, Jose is a phenomenal boxer with a power to put his opponents lights out, but will he be able to do the same to The Champ?

“Reaper” has a massive boxing advantage over current champ, and he knows how to put it to good use, and I feel like he will do the same in this bout, even though we know how good Leader is, we have to look at it like it is

.
Castellanos boxing advantage and his shot selection will be too much in this match-up and I feel like we will hear

AND NEW! LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

My official prediction: JOSE CASTELLANOS VIA TKO

RISE 100 OFFICIAL PREVIEW

9/18 MAIN CARD

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE ARE THRILLED TO WELCOME YOU TO THE MAIN CARD OF THE RISE 100. WE HOPE THAT WE WILL BRING YOU THE BEST EXPERIENCE THAT WE POSSIBLY CAN FOR YOUR JOY AND EXCITEMENT. AND NOW LET’S START WITH THE BOUTS!

Bout number one of the main card:

Danyaal “Muscle Aussie” ZAHEDI (9-1) vs Zac ZANE (6-4)

I feel like we will open the main card with a quick one in a heavyweight division between Zahedi that is coming off a 16 second TKO, and is looking for another quick night in there. In front of him he will be facing another fearsome fighter on a roll with a 4-0 record in the promotion with 5 KO’s on his overall record. We will surely see a war tonight.

I feel like Zahedi is a superior fighter in this one, he is better in almost every aspect in that fight, even though it is a fight in the heavyweight division, and everything is possible in there I feel like the Aussie will get another quick W in this bout, also considering his fights barely go out of the first round (latest finish was 0:52 in the second round also his only win in the second round, other in the first)

My official prediction: Zahedi via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Bout number two on the main card

Vasil DANKOVICH (7-1-1) vs Oliver “OTown” SMITH (9-6)

In our next bout we are keeping it in the heavyweight division, two fighters with a combined total of 24 fights, and only a single one went to a decision. So as you can guess we are most likely going to have a finish in this one.

Dankovich is coming off a 32 second knockout of Maurice Rollo that earned him a KO of the night award.  I might add that I predicted this would happen.  It was too big of a step up for Rollo, so Vasil is still undefeated in our org with a record of 3-0-1 coming into this one.

in front of him stands a fighter that is making his debut in RISE, previously fighting former VFC title contender Oliver Smith, and as we said earlier Smith also knows how to get it done pretty quick with all of his fights coming to an end before the 3rd round even starts.

We can see some advantages for both fighters, Smith has a better boxing, while Dankovich has better Muay Thai so we can guess where both of the fighters are looking for the way of winning in this one.

It’s really hard to predict which one of those gentlemen will come out victorious but I will once again side with Dankovich getting it done in the first.

My official prediction: Dankovich via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Bout number three of the evening:

Otto MCBEAN (7-2-0) vs Wingers SON (7-4-0)

We are giving you the action in our bantamweight division with two masters of the ground game. Out of 14 combined wins of these two gentlemen have 13 of them by the way of a submission so, we can assure you that this fight won’t take place on the feet for too long.

Otto McBean is a savage when it comes to his grappling, he managed to submit his opponents in all of his 7 wins and all of them were in the first round. If that's not a scary man on the ground right there then I don’t know who is. We have to keep in mind though that his 2 losses are due to decisions and every time the fight left the first round, he also lost the fight.

His opponent, Wingers Son, a formidable grappler himself with 6 submission wins on his record is looking to make a statment tonight. But unlike his opponent, he has a decision win, and not all of his submissions are in the first round, so it might be a big factor showing that he can hang in there for a bit longer while still being dangerous.

Both fighters are currently riding a nice streak with Otto having a 2-fight win streak (both first round subs) and Sons riding a 3-fight winning streak, so both fighters will be pretty confident going into this one.

Who do I think will win?

Even though I would love to see the upset with Son getting it done, I feel like the BJJ advantage that McBean possesses might be too big of a problem for Son to get through.

My official prediction: McBean via 1st round Submission

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE CO-MAIN EVENT OF RISE 100

Mike HUNT (9-2-0) vs Anthony “Sosa” SANTANA (6-1-0)

Now in our Co-Main Event of the evening, we are giving you a rematch between the former champion Mike Hunt and a hungry young contender that wants to avenge his only career loss in Anthony Santana.

We saw how the first fight played out when the title was on the line, Hunt showed up in a big way showing his boxing skills were not to trifled with, and just how dangerous he can be with it, considering how early he made his opponent bleed with a nasty cut that opened up after one of his nice jabs. The cut progressively got worse and worse until the doctor saw enough and stopped the bout with the concerns for Santana's health.

After their bout Hunt went on to lose his title to the current champion Master Leader, while Anthony bounced back with a first-round decisive finish of Shozo Amisaki back at RISE 90.

We have to keep one thing in mind after all, Santana is only 19-years old while Hunt is 27, Anthony has all the world for the improvements, and he is showing it, on paper he has a better boxing, but he had it in the first bout, and it has been shown that not everything you see is true after all.

I do think though that Santana is hungry to get that win back, and I feel like him and his coaches will come up with the different gameplan than in their first time out.

Do I think that Anthony made a lot of improvements? Yes

Do I think that Hunt has a formula to win this bout once again? He might

What’s the prediction for that bout?
I feel that if Anthony will make the much-needed adjustments in this fight he will get the win, but it has been shown that Hunt cannot be counted out of this bout, I will say that with his boxing advantage (on paper) Santana has a slight edge in this bout and I have to side with him because of that, 52%-48% Santana

My official prediction: Santana via 3rd round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

Jimmy Labradoodle (7-3-0) vs Derrick Thomas (9-1-0)

Now we are moving to a heavy artillery matchup in the heavyweight division.

A bout where once again we will see the return of one of our dethroned champions, Derrick Thomas will seek to get back into the action, and into the win column against Jimmy Labradoodle.

Two heavy hitters will collide but which one of them will come out victorious?

Both fighters have a single decision win each, but other than that all the rest of them are via KO, so safe to see we will see some fireworks tonight. Both guys are tough enough to go the distance, but you never know with these electrifying athletes.

The former champ Derrick is eager to get a statement win that could elevate him right back into the title talks, but his opponent Jimmy is seeking the same thing, a title and that win will probably give him a much-needed boost in the ranks to be in that kind of conversations.

I do favor the former champ to win this bout though, he has an advantage in both Boxing and Muay Thai and he has shown to mix them up pretty well in his fights. “Lapdog” might have a bit of a problem with that, and it might’ve been a bit too big of a step-up for him. However, he has shown incredible tenacity to get it done despite being in hard situations.
I do think that we will see a good part of action with a lot of heavy blows, but as I said I do favor Derrick Thomas to win, and I see him getting it done by the end of the 2nd round.

My official prediction: Thomas via 2nd round TKO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

That concludes this evening's card ladies and gentlemen. We appreciate each and every fan and fighter to the utmost and look forward to bringing you the next 100 most exciting cards possible. Thank you!

Tagnarach Kamara (5-0-0)

My next opponent is the current champion, Muenster Romano, some sissy boy from Switzerland. Just another notch under the ole belt. He won't last 5 rounds with me. I'll put him in the ground in 3.

RISE 103 OFFICIAL PREVIEW

 Kimmo Peramaki vs Bruno Dukic

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the RISE 103 main card, that we will start off with a bout in the welterweight division.

Last time I predicted that Peramaki would get a 1st round submission win against Cejka. He didn’t and lost a Unanimous Decision, but this time I believe that’s the outcome we are going to see.

Dukic is coming off a second round KO loss to Ahmir Brown at the same card as Peramaki fought Cejka, the record itself shows that Dukic is a hit or miss fighter and I do think that Peramaki being a superior grappler will just be too much for the Croatian and I predict a 1st round finish.

My official prediction: Peramaki 1st round Sub

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Robert “Caulk Master Flex” Brown vs Maximus “The Emporer” Meridius

In the next bout we are moving up to our 205 division and I believe that this fight will be a good one.

Between one of the veterans of the org that’s been with us since RISE 9, against a newcomer that is coming off a successful debut that earned him a fight of the night debut and a win in the 3rd round.

Robert Brown is well known to the RISE community; he is currently 6-2 with the promotion and knows how to put on a show for the fans, but he will have a tough task at his hands against Meridius.

Maximus had a successful debut as we said earlier, a fight of the night against at this time undefeated Haruki Johnson that earned him another big fight and a win would probably get him very close to a title shot.

Both fighters are pretty equal to each other and considering that it’s hard to find a boring fight of Maximus I believe we are looking at another fight of the night from these 2 gentlemen.

My official prediction: Meridius via unanimous decision

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Kush Cake vs Marcel Thibodeaux

Now we are moving into the heavyweight division in a bout between 2 fighters that are riding a bit of a different momentum but looking at the last time I spoke about one of those fighters' momentum I might just cut that talk and move on.

Kush Cake is coming of a 1st round KO of Oba Umar that earned him a KO of the night, but in reality, we all knew that Cake would get a win in this one considering how they first encounter went and it shouldn’t be a surprise.

On the other hand, Marcel is coming off a 2nd round KO loss to Spartakov that ended his 4-fight winning streak, I thought that the momentum that he has been riding would give him an edge but unfortunately, I was wrong as you can tell, both fighters are looking to prove something in this one.

Cake is eager to show that he is ready for a better competition and Marcel will try to show that his latest loss was a minor step back and wants to get back to winning column.
Hard fight to predict, even though Cake has Muay Thai advantage It’s hard to tell if he will use it in this one, but I will slightly lean towards Kush Cake.

My official prediction: Cake via 2nd round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Gervonta Davis vs Archie “Ursinho” Oliveira

In our co-main event, we will see a trilogy come to an end with the score between these 2 at 1-1 there has to be a definitive winner.

Looking back at both of their encounters we can tell some things already, Davis can hurt and KO Oliveira, and Davis has a poor fight IQ that he showed in their last fight when he jumped onto Oliveira after knocking him down looking for a finish and when he couldn’t do it, he just got subbed by a superior BJJ fighter.
There’s not much to say about this one, Davis has shown that he is a better fighter and knows how to stop Oliveiras takedown attempts, but his low fight IQ might be his demise once again so it’s really hard to tell who will come out victorious.
I will lean Davis just because he is the better fighter and has shown that he can batter Oliveira on the feet, not because he is the smarter one.

My official prediction: Davis via 1st round KO

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

FIGHTING OUT OF THE BLUE CORNER,

THE CHALLENGER

fighting out of Skibbereen Ireland with the undefeated record of 5 wins and ZERO losses.

TAGNARACH KAAAAMAAAARAAAAA

AND NOW

HIS OPPONENT,

FIGHTING OUT OF THE RED CORNER,

THE DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION,

FIGHTING OUT OF SWITZERLAND

with the record of 8 wins and just 1 defeat

MUENSTER ROOOOMAAAANOOOOOO

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN HERE WE ARE IN OUR MAIN EVENT AND IT’S FOR THE WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

We will for sure see a good fight right here, Romano, our newly crowned champion, that in his last outing avenged his only career loss against Chomofsky where he got a Majority Decision win earning the championship with his revenge.

He showed that he can defend pretty well against Chomofskys offence on the ground and has shown that he is a superior stand-up fighter, but will that be the case with elite up and coming striker Tagnarach Kamara?

Kamara is coming off a FOTN decision win against Axelsen where he put out a statement in the 3rd round dropping Axelsen twice that earned him a much-deserved win and he is now certain that he is ready to take that belt from Romano.
Both fighters are really good when it comes to their stand-up fighting skills, Kamara has the advantage in Muay Thai though and he might try to use it as much as he can in this one.
That’s the only reason I will lean towards Kamara in this one, his Muay Thai is deadly and he has proven the power in his hands, dropping or knocking out every opponent. For Romano, this might be difficult to overcome and just might overwhelm him in there to get another win and a title.

My official prediction: Kamara via 4th round TKO

Kamara Drops Bomb on Neighbor

Fighter profile of Tagnarach Kamara by Papi Rojo

Tagnarach Kamara is a stand up guy.

We’ve all been there before: you’re walking your dog when suddenly it starts to handle its business on your neighbors lawn, and you’re unprepared for the moment. Well, the same thing recently happened to Kamara, who was caught off guard when his dog took a “sloppy s***” on a neighbor’s lawn during a nighttime stroll. Lacking the tools to clean up the mess, Kamara opted to ring the neighbor’s doorbell to resolve the situation, leading to a wholesome interaction between the two that was caught on the woman’s Ring camera, and made the rounds on social media this weekend.

“Hello, love. Me dog’s just had a sloppy s*** outside and I was just wondering if you’ve got some water,” Kamara said. “I don’t want to leave it outside.”

It’s at this point that Kamara’s neighbor recognizes the MMA star, asking, “Is that Tagnarach Kamara?” before telling Kamara not to worry and that she’ll take care of it.

“You sure? I feel bad,” Kamara responded. “He just had a proper sloppy s*** and I can’t even pick it up with a poo bag, you know what I mean?”

“Don’t worry. I’ll clean it when I get in,” the neighbor said.

“Thank you very much, once again,” Kamara concluded. “I’m sorry about that. I hate doing stuff like that. That’s why I knocked on.”

Kamara is 7-0 since joining RISE, is the current welterweight champion, and is now set to face Clint Rivers in the main event of RISE 122 in London.

We managed to contact Kamara's rep to verify the story and he took a less dignified approach to the reasoning behind his politeness.

“F*** no.” Kamara said, when asked about if he'd normally pick up his dogs deuce from a neighbors yard. “My boy Rex can drop a deuce where ever he wants mate. No f***ing way I'm picking that up. I was only being polite to the neighbor lady because she has a nice set of cans, y'know what I mean? Big ole balloons for bosoms. Miss Parker don't have nothin' on her.”

PLAYOFF WILLIE STRIKES AGAIN! @Alfred

London, England - 6,397 fans crammed into the Camden Conference Centre in anticipation of the Main Event at RISE 121 that would see Welterweight Champion "Playoff" Willie Diggs take on former champion Moncontour Chevrolet. Despite Willie being the champion riding an 8-fight win streak, oddsmakers had Chevrolet as the -150 favorite heading into the bout. The contender was 7-1 in his last 8 fights, riding a 3 fight win streak since losing the title to Kane Thoupas back in June.

From the very start of the fight, Willie's right hand found its range. The American send the challenger crashing to the mat with a big right hand shortly after the minute marker. Willie waved him up and Chevrolet obliged, firing off a head kick as soon as he did so, but Willie stayed on him and picked his shots.

A minute later Willie countered a leg kick with another crisp right hand that dropped Chevrolet for the second time, that big right hand, the Willie special, stinging the French fighter every time it landed. From there is didn't take Diggs long, he had found his range and knew he could hurt the challenger. Diggs came forward swinging punches, miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Chevrolet to the mat, unconscious. This fight is all over! Chevrolet just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches and Diggs' right hand finally turned off the lights.

Willie Diggs (12-3 MMA, 5-0 RISE) scores his third straight first round knockout victory and records his 3rd title fight victory. It's clear that Willie's blistering right hand and lethal high kicks pack some serious firepower behind them, firepower he obviously inherited from his grandfather Moses Diggs, who was also known for the dynamite he possessed.

MMA runs in Willie's DNA. He is the son of SYN' Hall of Famer Orlando Diggs, a decision machine whose fighting style was once considered the Floyd Mayweather of MMA, or a really black Nate Diaz, for his resilience and ability to push forward, overwhelming opponents with volume and precision on his way to #1 P4P. Although his father and grandfather had polar opposite styles, both were able to capture the prestigious SYN' belts; Moses at LHW, and Orlando at WW.

For Chevrolet (7-3 MMA, 7-2 RISE) he has his 3 fight win streak snapped and it's back to the drawing board. He's now 1-2 in title fights at RISE but despite the ups and downs, remains one of the most skilled fighters in the entire division. Action Jackson's camp was hanging their head low after the loss but we expect them to bounce back like before and make another run in due time.

For Willie, he told fans that he's overdue for a nice long vacation after accepting a short notice title defense to save this card for the RISE organization.

"I wasn't even suppose to fight today. I took this fight on short notice. So now I'm gonna take some time off, be with the kids, the fam, enjoy the beaches and cheap women in Tahiti. Once I'm done flaggin' I'll go back to the gym and get on the grind. I gotta get better if I want to win a SYN belt like my pops and grand-daddy. Every generation of Diggs has won a SYN belt, and I don't want to break that tradition. It won't be easy, but with a lot of hard work and a little luck, we'll make it happen. I believe that."

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Darrell Newsome16463632682438.jpg
Canada's Darrell Newsome (12-3-0) vows to "pop a cherry" verse RISE welterweight champion Tagnarach Kamara (13-0) when they face off at RISE 160.

Newsome is a knockout artist hailing from Toronto and trains at the Canadian Elite Bruins Gym in Montreal. He is set to face-off against the reigning champion but told the Tycoon Times that he's more than ready for the challenge.

"For the first time in my life I'm taking my career seriously, " Newsome said. "I'm with an elite manager, training at an elite gym, and I'm blessed to get to hurt people for money. I know (Kamara) is a tough opponent, but I promise you I'm gonna pop his cherry. He can't take a shot like I can."

Newsome's game has vastly improved since his time with Bradley Burns, and he's put together an impressive 3-fight win streak with his biggest victory, or at least his flashiest, coming by way of Spinning Backfist Knockout back at RISE 123 in the Camden Conference Centre in London. But there's no denying that Newsome enters this fight as a heavy underdog and deserves some credit for taking this fight in the first place.

The undefeated champion Tagnarach Kamara is the #5 ranked welterweight fighter in the entire world, and one of the most promising prospects outside of the PPV organizations. He currently trains at Convicted Fight Club and has taken RISE by storm with an impressive winning streak. He's Skibbereen's finest and possesses what Chris Karter calls the "touch of death". After capturing the title in a closely contested Fight of the Night performance against former champion Muenster Romano at RISE 103, Kamara has torn through the division. He's riding 7-fight knockout streak heading into his fight with Newsome and expects this contest will be no different.

"I'll snipe (Newsome). His manager might kick him out the gym after this." Kamara says. "Once he feels the power and the speed, he's gonna turtle up like the rest of 'em."

Newsome acknowledged Kamara's response and welcomed the challenge as the underdog, telling us he's ready to shock the world and put his own name on the map, giving all the credit to his coaches and trainers at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym in Montreal.

"I train with the best. We have some of the best kickboxers in the world here and all of the coaches were P4P ranked guys," Newsome claims. "SYN champs. CEC champs. Champions in some of the biggest organizations in the world. Championship DNA runs in the gym and I love it. I promise you I'll be apart of it."

Manager Bradley Burns was caught coming out of a hockey rink in Nova Scotia, Canada eh. Reporters asked him about the massive fight between his fighter Darrell Newsome and King Karter’s rising star, Kamara.

”Oh yeah, we jumped at that fight, we want the biggest names and challenges and it doesn’t get any better then fighting Karter and his squad.

I didn’t really expect Newsome to get the next crack but of course we were excited to try to hand Kamara his first loss.  I’m heading back to Montreal in a few hours with ex UFC fighter TJ Grant to help Newsome with some stuff.

Darrell is the wild-man of the two twins, and I think he matches up well with that crazy guy Kamara, it should be a fun scrap for the fans, we know someone is probably going to sleep.”

Dusty Rhodes

Looks like most of the 185 lbs guys worth fighting are busy right this minute. Looking forward to when the top fighters are available so I can start doing the inevitable. 185 is about to become a black hole for fighters with ambitions

Imma still waiting....I need a fight gents. Should be called HIDE instead of RISE
