ALEX MANIATAKOS (THE INSIDE STORY)

When we think about an organization what is the first thing we notice? We all say oh look! how great all the fighters in the organization are, how good, cooperative and active the managers are and how good the posters are etc.We almost notice everything, everything but the one person without whom none of the above things would ever take place in the first place, which is the manager or the owner of the organization. Now we all seem to think that it's very easy to be owning an organization.Just make some fights, sign the fighters of your choice and make money but, let me tell it's not as easy as it looks and so to just show what all goes in the mind of the owner of a big organization we take a look at the life of the owner of SYNCHRONICITY Alex Maniatakos.

Alex like many others was a guy who was always intrigued by thought of managing an organization ever since he joined the MMA Tycoon family. He really wanted to try and manage an organization in his early days playing MMA Tycoon but, he quickly realised that it would not be as easy to manage an organization as he had first thought and therefore in order to gain some experience in his quest to manage an organization he joined (RAPID FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP) in 2019 as a recruiter/matchmaker. He worked there for the best part of a year during which time the organization had grand success but his hunger to manage an organization just did not fade and therefore when information about SYNCHRONICITY being available to manage came to him, he took the offer and finally achieved his dream of owning a big organization in the form of SYNCHRONICITY as it was and still is a legendary organization which meant he could not pass the opportunity.

Now taking over the organization was the easy part but, Alex soon realised hat he had to put in a lot of work in the organization if he was to ever take the organization back to it's glorious haydays because SYNCHRONICITY as a whole was in a complete and utter mess at the time. The roster was super thin at the time with only 73 fighters across the whole organization, and to add to that the finances were all over the place too so much so that Alex had to add 10-12 million in booking events and recruitment alone. This was all due to the fact that Matty SYNCHRONICITY'S previous owner at the time had some real life obligations to fulfil that deprived him of spending time improving the organization but nonetheless he still did a good job anyways.

Well after getting the organization back to some sort of a stable path it was then time for the events to follow.Alex was extremely excited so much so that just couldn't wait for it to get started. He put up some great shows for people to watch in the first few events but no many know that it was a result of working with some of the greatest managers at that time who motivated him to do well and provide the best experience for them and their fighters.Alex would sincerely want to thank them all for the warm welcome that he was greeted with when he first arrived in the organization and alongside that he was also very proud by the fact that there were zero immature and unreasonable mangers present at SYNCHRONICITY at the time.

Well little by little with each event now the organization is slowly starting to get back to its peak again and Alex could not be any more proud of that fact,as the saying tells "ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY".

Now we previously stated how thin the roster was at the time of his arrival and that he had to sign many fighters to get stability in the organization, so this is Alex's side of the story to what exactly did he think about the signings and also some of his top buys.

He loved all the fighters that has been bought by him especially in the past couple of months as all of them are super talented and deserve to compete in SYNCHRONICITY.Currently he feels that all the divisions are looking great and he is especially proud of the fact of attracting top talents in the HEAVYWEIGHT, LIGHTWEIGHT and MIDDLEWEIGHT divisions. He is also super proud of attracting superstars like Iain Tower,Rick Piano,Will Rock,Uesugi,Phetboone,Madog and Borjigin and apologies to anyone missed.

Needless to say Alex has got a lot of new ideas to implement in the future which will help our organization grow further into the superpower it once was. Some of it includes maintaining healthy finances and adding more and more features to the organization like adding unique posters and reopening the BANTAMWEIGHT AND SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT divisions to help grow SYNCHRONICITY further.

So this Alex Maniatakos in a nutshell always looking to help and improve the organization by any means possible to make sure we managers have no problems.I hope you guys enjoyed it and until next time have a good day.

SYN 683: BORJIGIN VS TOIVONEN (MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE BOUT {185 LBS})

Hello and welcome ladies and gentlemen to another one of the most anticipated events in SYNCHRONICITY for some time and when i say highly anticipated , i mean it as this card has not only got a potentially breathtaking finale to it but it also has got some extremely mouthwatering fight that is most probably gonna take you breath away, and therefore without me wasting any more of your time let's get straight into what we got in store for you.

(UNDERCARD BOUTS)

1. Nikolay "Warpath" Panayotov vs David "Samurai" Cain (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT{205 LBS})

// Nikolay Panayotov is a BOXER and a MUAY THAI artist who has a professional record of (7 wins 4 losses). He made a fast and furious start to his professional career by winning all of his first five bout as a pro, but since then he never really reached those high levels ever again as a result his career has fizzled out.But then he got his big shot of resurrecting his career when SYNCHRONICITY came calling, then again after a big win in his debut at (SYN) he lost his next fight which made him drop down the rankings and therefore he will be very eager to win this fight to finally start off his SYNCHRONICITY properly and shut off all his doubters once and for all.

Now David Cain is a fighter who let's just say has nearly seen it all in the game.He has switched between Grappling,Kickboxing and MMA from time to time, and that's not all he has fought in 5 different weight classes throughout his career

with the most productive spell probably coming at the HEAVYWEIGHT division where he fought for the (ULTIMATE PIT FIGHTING) HEAVYWEIGHT title. He carries a professional record of (23 wins 14 losses) and is going to be making his SYNCHRONICITY debut in this fight as a LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT and therefore he will be desperate to win this fight to start off his SYNCHRONICITY career successfully as well as help him make his decision about settling down at LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT for the long run.

~ PREDICTION: NIKOLAY PANAYOTOV WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)

2. Keone Kapisi vs JR Adams Junior (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT {265 LBS})

// As man who has spent nearly all of his career at (DEMOLITION MMA) Keone Kapisi is a former HEAVYWEIGHT title challenger at Demolition MMA who has got a professional record of (9 wins 8 losses). After his loss in the HEAVYWEIGHT title fight he moved up a weightclass to SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT to try out a new avenue in his career, but he never really made it big in that weightclass and therefore to start a fresh chapter in his career he has made his move to SYNCHRONICITY where he will be making his debut in his original weight class of HEAVYWEIGHT and therefore he will be looking to win this fight to start of his career at the organization in the best way possible and hope to break into the rankings as soon as possible.

Now JR Adams Junior is a former (PULSE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP) HEAVYWEIGHT title challenger and one of the best submission artist in the whole of the (SYNCHRONICITY) HEAVYWEIGHT division. He carries a professional record of (11 wins 7 losses) and at a very early point in his career was considered to be the next best thing in the HEAVYWEIGHT division owing to this then record of (9 wins 0 losses) until the title fight which, of course change the tide in his career. He has never really been the same again after that title fight and therefore after a loss in his SYNCHRONICITY debut he will be hoping to win this fight to finally kickstart his career in this organization and also get his stagnating career back on track.

~ PREDICTION: KEONE KAPISI WINS VIA KO (ROUND 3)

3."Do It Right The 1st Time"Mike Holmes Jr vs DeMar DeRozan (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT (205 LBS))

// Another one of the great SUBMISSION specialist in the (SYN) HEAVYWEIGHT division Mike Holmes Jr is a man who has travelled down weightclasses quite frequently, as he started off as a HEAVYWEIGHT then dropped to LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT where people will argue he had his best moments, then he dropped further to MIDDLEWEIGHT but by then he realised that that LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT was his weightclass and therefore when SYNCHRONICITY came calling for him to come to the LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT division he just could not turn them down, but then he went on lose in his debut at (SYN) which made him start doubting himself again and therefore with a professional record of (13 wins and 8 losses) he will be looking to win this fight to assure himself that LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT indeed is the weightclass for him,

Now unlike his opponent DeMar DeRozan is at a very different stage at his career,he is currently flying high n a 4 fight win streak and is one of the most inform LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHTS in SYNCHRONICITY currently. He has a professional record of (11 wins 10 losses) but that just simply does not tell his story currently because since the change of management he has a record of (5 wins 2 losses) and therefore he will be looking to knock his opponent out in this fight to extend his winning streak and continue his surge up the rankings in hopes of breaking into the top #10 LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT rankings.

~ PREDICTION: DEMAR DEROZAN WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 1)

4. Matt Lethal vs Bjorn Ragnar (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT {185 LBS})

// A former (GAMMA CONTENDERS) WELTERWEIGHT champion and (UNDERGROUND) WELTERWEIGHT title challenger Matt Lethal is one of the most experienced fighters in the SYNCHRONICITY MIDDLEWEIGHT division. He has a professional record of (27 wins 14 losses 4 draws) and is currently approaching the twilight of a pretty decent career and therefore after winning his debut pretty comfortably he will be looking to break into the rankings as soon as possible because his career is really on the one final stretch. He wanted to try something new in his career upon rejoining SYNCHRONICITY for a second time and therefore he moved into the MIDDLEWEIGHT division to prove to others that he can win fights at various weightclasses and so he will be looking to extend his winning run so that he could get one final shot at a title in the near future.

Now a former MIDDLEWEIGHT champion at (GAMMA(DUEL) AND HAVOC FIGHTING LEAGUE) and a multiple time title challenger at (UNDERGROUND AND MMA GODS) Bjorn Ragnar is a elite level striker who has got a professional record of (41 wins 20 losses 1 draw) and is currently the most experienced fighter in all of SYNCHRONICITY, but he is also coming towards the end of his career and at the grand old age of 41 he is on his last hurrah as a professional MMA. But he still has the hunger and desire to win titles that he had before and therefore he will be looking to win this fight to put aside his disappointment of losing in his SYNCHRONICITY debut and kickstart his career in (SYN) properly.

~ PREDICTION: MATT LETHAL WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

5. Arthur "Wart" Pendragon vs Blue "Solo" Cup (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT {185 LBS})

// A former (CEC RISING STARS) MIDDLEWEIGHT champion and a multi divisional title challenger at (SYNCHRONICITY,PHOQUS SPORTS ENTERPRISE,EXTREME FIGHTING ASSOCIATION AND SPARTAN FIGHT CLUB) Arthur Pendragon is one of the rare elite level striker as well as a submission artist who has got a professional record of (21 wins 18 losses 1 draw). He has spent the majority of his career at MIDDLEWEIGHT yet people always say that he had his most fruitful spell in LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT recently and therefore coming into this fight on the back of 3 consecutive losses he will be desperate to win this fight to save his career at SYNCHRONICITY or really give the thought of moving up to LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT a serious thought.

Now Blue Cup is a guy whose career is marked by the word almost, and i say that because although he was a former (GAMMA CONTENDERS) WELTERWEIGHT champion and (GAMMA RISING STARS) WELTERWEIGHT title challenger his career never really took off after that as it was supposed to as a result he had to shift weightclasses in order to make a name for himself but even that never really materialised and therefore after losing his last fight in (SYN) and with a professional record of (14 wins 17 losses) he will be absolutely desperate to win this fight to finally get the break at a big organization that he has been waiting for all his life and also start making his move up the rankings in hope for a future title shot.

~ PREDICTION: BLUE CUP WINS VIA KO (ROUND 2)

(MAIN CARD)

So guys the time for the fun and games are over as its now time for the big boys to clash in the middle of the cage and so without any further delay let's get straight into it.

6. Brutus Leagatius vs "Kingpin" Rocco Marciano (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT{265 LBS})

// A former (NORTH STAR COMBAT AND STEEL PENN ICON 2.0) HEAVYWEIGHT champion and one of the veterans in the SYNCHRONICITY HEAVYWEIGHT division Brutus Leagatius is an odd combination of an elite level striker as well as a wrestler who has a professional record of (22 wins 11 losses). He has spent all of his career at HEAVYWEIGHT but in the biggest stage it all just seemed to go haywire for him and that to without much reason as he just simply did not turn up when it matters but, since his change of management it has seems that it has finally clicked for him and currently on a 3 fight winning streak he will be hoping to win this fight to continue his winning run as well as continue to climb the rankings in hope for a future title shot at some point in his career.

Now Rocco Marciano is guy who early on in his career was considered as one of the best HEAVYWEIGHT not just in an organization but the sport as a whole. He was a former 2x (MMA GLADIATORS) HEAVYWEIGHT champion as well as the former (SYNCHRONICITY) HEAVYWEIGHT champion but since losing the title his career took a slight dip for a certain time until he found his groove again which led to a title eliminator fight against Iain Tower at (SYN 678),but he unfortunately lost that fight and was really heartbroken after that loss but having a champions heart has its perks and therefore he has come back again to have another go towards the title shot at some point in time and so wit a professional record of (23 wins 12 losses 3 draws) he will be hoping to win this fight to kickstart another assault towards the title.

~ PREDICTION: ROCCO MARCIANO WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)

7. Misha "The Angel Of Death" Collins vs Hiroshi "Gakuser" Ekaku (FEATHERWEIGHT BOUT{145 LBS})

// A former (MMA HELSINKI) FEATHERWEIGHT champion and a multi time title challenger at (BUDO REI FC {135 LBS} AND SYNCHRONICITY {145 LBS}) Misha Collins is one of the most technically sound fighters in the SYNCHRONICITY roster who has got a professional record of (32 wins 23 losses 1 draw). He has spent the majority of his career in SYNCHRONICITY and is considered one of the best fighters in the roster but that is what the problem has been with him throughout his career, he has always been one of them and not the one because he has always messed it up when it matters and therefore he will look to win this fight to move closer to another possible title shot in the future to put things right once and for all.

Now another perfect example of a guy who had a sensational start to his career by winning a title but then never really remaining the same after moving to a bigger organization is Hiroshi Ekaku. He had a start to his career that many can only dream of so much so that after 15 fights his record stood at (13 wins 1 loss 1 draw). In that time he was a 2 x (FREEDOM FIGHTING ALLIANCE) and also 1 time (MMA GLADIATORS) FEATHERWEIGHT champion. But since then his career has been in a freefall with his record since then at (5 wins 8 losses 1 draw) and so with an overall professional record of (18 wins 9 losses 2 draws) he will hope to win this fight to hopefully get his career back on track and prove to everyone that he has still got what it takes to win.

~ PREDICTION: MISHA COLLINS WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

8. Paul Warror vs Jackson "Kid Kimura" Spinks (WELTERWEIGHT BOUT{17 LBS})

// A former (PRIMAL,DIGNITY AND SYNCHRONICITY) WELTERWEIGHT champion and a multi time title challenger at 2x (ASPIRE MMA AND SYNCHRONICITY) Paul Warrior is a guy whose career has been filled with titles and mega fights. He holds a professional record of (34 wins 15 losses and 2 draws) but his career has taken a dip in recent time cumulating in a 4 fight losing streak which was broken with a win in his last fight and therefore he will be very eager to win this fight to prove to everyone that his bad days are behind him and also he would want to quickly climb back towards the top of the rankings once again to challenge for the title once again in the future.

Now unlike his opponent Jackson Spinks has never really had that breakthrough fight that if he wins would put him in the limelight but now with such a massive fight against a multi time champion this is indeed his time to shine. He holds a professional record of (15 wins 13 losses 1 draw) and has a knack of putting in exceptional fights now and then and therefore he would hope that this is one of those fights that he will get to put in a great performance which could potentially put him in the title contention and therefore he will look to win this fight to get ever closer to his dream of winning a title in the future.

~ PREDICTION: PAUL WARROR WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

(CO-MAIN EVENT)

So after a lot of exciting fights tonight we have finally reached the business end of the event which coincides with the co-main event of the evening so let's see what we have in store for us.

9. Kagekatsu Uesugi vs "Masta Killa" Elgin Turner (LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT{155 LBS})

// A former (OG CARDINALS FIGHT ORG,SYN CITY EUROPE AND ) WELTERWEIGHT TITLE challenger and a former (CLAYMORE ELITE COMBAT) LIGHTWEIGHT and (ALL ELITE MMA) WELTERWEIGHT champion Kagekatsu Uesugi was once the second best WELTERWEIGHT in the game but he has since has moved down to LIGHTWEIGHT as he wanted to try something new in his career.Nut although the start to his LIGHTWEIGHT journey has been good he has not really had to fight in a mega fight and therefore he has not really been tested at this level and so with a professional record of (24 wins 9 losses) he will look to win his first big test as a LIGHTWEIGHT to possibly at the end of the day become the no #1 contender to the title.

Now Elgin Turner is a former (ULTIMATE VIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP AND OG CARDINALS MMA ORG) WELTERWEIGHT and (SYNCHRONICITY AND EXTREME FIGHTING ASSOCIATION) LIGHTWEIGHT champion who lost his (SYN) LIGHTWEIGHT title to the current champion Rudy Rhod in his previous fight. He is considered as the no #1 ranked contender to the title as of now and therefore with a professional record of (24 wins 8 losses 1 draw) he will be desperate for a win to keep his spot as the no #1 contender so that he could have another go at the title in the near future and possibly get his lost title back.

~ PREDICTION: ELGIN TURNER WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

(MAIN EVENT)

So it's finally the time that you all have been waiting for live from the L.A memorial Colossesium it's time for the main event of the evening.

10. Khunbish Borjigin vs Pekka Toivonen (MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE BOUT{185 LBS})

// When you look at a champion what do we all like to notice? Let me tell you it's the amount of titles won; ko's, Submissions,1st round finishes, mega fights etc.But these things are absolutely no where near what you associate with Khunbish Borjigin as he has come from a rather small organization called (INFERNO COMBAT SERIES)where he was a MIDDLEWEIGHT champion and also challenged for the title a further 3 times but even then he was not the best fighter in that organization,so when SYNCHRONICITY he did not think twice before coming here but little did he know that he would end up becoming a champion in his debut fight here and therefore with a professional record of (25 wins 9 losses) he will be desperate to win this fight to retain his title as well as prove to everyone that his last win was not a fluke.

Now Pekka toivonen is the polar opposite of his opponent as nearly 70% of all his career fights has been title fights of some sorts. He is a former (EMPYREAN) LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT as well as MIDDLEWEIGHT champion which meant he was inducted into the (EMPYREAN) HALL OF FAME.But after a bit of time he wanted a new challenge and so he came to SYNCHRONICITY to dominate and conquer this organization just like his previous organization and therefore with a professional record of (20 wins 6 losses) he will hope to win this fight in order to stamp his authority in the MIDDLEWEIGHT division and win his beloved title.

~ PREDICTION: PEKKA TOIVONEN WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 3)

SO THIS IS IT FROM ANOTHER EVENT WHICH WILL HAVE YOU GUYS BOUNCING IN YOUR SEATS ONCE AGAIN

HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED THE PREVIEW AND UNTIL NEXT TIME

SATY SAFE AND HAVE A GOOD DAY

There was no doubt in my mind that Syn would rise again and thrive under Alex's ownership! Not to take anything away from where it was or anything for Matty. But I had seen the hard work that Alex put in at RFC, I had worked directly with him on a bunch of topics including posters for RFC at one point, and this is a man who not only took care of business, but had time for the little things, advice and the "small details" along the way as well. For many, they just wouldn't be able to be bothered. But thanks to guys like Alex, and some other very key owners out there (and you know who you are, I thank you for the advice you've given and the direction and help!) we have some fantastic orgs doing it right for the community. And they pass that knowledge on as they can, helping to build the community beyond the niche they are excelling in. Thank you guys! And congrats on what is already a wild success Alex!

Nice write-up Robin. Well done. :toot:

An All Time Great has Retired, One Writers Tribute to this Legend- Kalervo Kaunismieli

Born from mysterious origins. All that is known is from ages 4 -16 Kalervo Kaunismieli was raised by a group of traveling nomads in southern Finland. At the age of 16 Kalervo split from his tribe and began a walkabout. He spent the next two years traveling all over the world, taking odd jobs. He began to develop a reputation as a pure spirited and honest man. Tales of his good deeds would follow him from city to city. On his 18th birthday many witnessed him heroically stop a mugging. By this time Kalervo had made it all the way to New York City. One of the people who happened to witness this stoppage, which was done by way of an amazing superman punch, that instantly KO’d the assailant, was well respected fight manger Billy Arseworth.
Turns out the traveling nomads who raised Kalervo have a deep history. They are known as the “Valitut Ihmiset” or Chosen People. They value all aspects of life. They have a strict lifestyle that encompasses hours of daily training. Focusing on mental, spiritual, and physical teachings. It is said they practice every known religion (except scientology) and every known martial art.
Billy Arseworth knows talent when he sees it. He quickly introduced himself to Kalervo. Little did Billy know, Kalervo would not only go on to become an all time legend; but would also be instrumental in Billy’s growth as a human and as a manager.
From that day forward Billy and Kalervo were inseparable and unstoppable. Kalervo quickly amassed a professional record of 11-2 and became known as a top prospect. By then, he was signed to the well respected (now defunct) Trinity Fighting Organization. He earned a title shot after a spectacular KO against Robert Mazzuca at T121. From there, he won the Trinity Middleweight Belt, lost it, won it back, then defended it 4 straight times.

At this point Kalervo was no longer under the radar. Synchronicity, the biggest fight organization in the world came calling, and Kalervo answered. It took Kalervo 15 fights to get a title shot. He won some of those 15 fights and lost some, but he got better every fight and soon became one of the baddest men on the face of the earth. A tribute to his determination. That same determination that he would show years later at Syn 549 in a title defense where he pulled off an amazing 4th round kneebar in a fight many thought he could be losing on the cards. Kalervo first won the Synchronicity Middleweight Championship Belt at Syn 540 Vociferous in a brutal 5 round slugfest against Wilder Wein. Kalervo would be a very active champion and defend his belt 3 times. As a champion he became a sensation. At one point ranked #1P4P fighter in the world. All the while his reputation as a humanitarian and a spiritual guru grew as well. Kalervo truly became larger than life. Celebrities, politicians and professional athletes alike praised him for his mindset and his teachings. He opened youth academies that focus on spirituality and martial arts all over the world.
Though eventually Kalervo lost his belt and his P4P title, his determination did not stop and continued to fight well into his 40’s. Every fight he had, title shot or not was must see. He even earned a late career title shot at the age of 46 and went 5 rounds with then middleweight champ Russell Tyrone Jones. Kalervo lost by a very close decision. Russel and Kalervo have grown a unique respect for each other. As they fought 4 times, all of these fights with the Synchronicity MiddleWeight Championship Belt on the line. Traditionally these two should hate each other, but it's quite the opposite. They both have immense respect for the stress and trials a professional MMA fighter faces on a daily basis. When they fought for that last time, it truly was a special moment. Both fighters near the end of their illustrious careers, but both still lethal and elite. The whole crowd standing going crazy, cheering the two legends on as they both threw punches up until the final bell.

Nowadays Kalervo has a full plate. He runs his youth academies, is a loving husband and father of 14 children. As a practitioner of all religions (except scientology) he is quite busy with religious activities and various community events.
He is also a known vigilante and will quickly help out in any altercation he may witness. He is linked to various attacks on Tom Cruise and other well known Scientologists but no hard evidence has ever been found and no charges have ever been held up in a court of law.
Many are hoping Kalervo will grow political aspirations and consider running for president.
When asked about his career, Kalevero said “I am doing what I believe is right. Fighting has given me a platform to help a lot of people. I love martial arts and helping people. I want to thank all the gods for helping me become the person I am today”.

Great words from a great man, Kalevro’s legacy is now etched into the granite walls of Synchrosnity’s all time greats.

Hello All-

This will be kicking off a new series, where we will be doing weekly Fighter Spotlights! Do you have a fighter fighting in Synchronicity that deserves to be spotlighted? Message me and there could be write up on him!

For this first one we have selected our beloved and dangerous "Irish" Nick Shamrock. Irish is a dominate champion and near the top of the P4P champ list. Enjoy :)

“Irish Nick” they always called him... or “Lucky Shamrock”, “Slick Nick” too. All over Liverpool people called him different names, but everyone knew who he was. Eventually people just called him “Irish”, which is weird because he’s English, but that’s the way Irish likes it, as he embraces any spotlight. Born from MMA royalty, his uncle and namesake, Nick Shamrock is a MMA pioneer. Uncle Nick started training Irish from an infantile state. Irish became a street legend long before his anticipated MMA debut; off record Irish claims to have been in 3,000 street fights (0 gun battles and only 1 knife fight “Your body is the only weapon ever needed”).

Fast forward a few years, and Irish is a dominant champion and literally everybody knows his name. Synchronicity President Alex Maniatakos said this, “Irish is a living legend, I do not know if there is a 145lb out there who can take him down. I am honestly curious if another living being at that weight can beat him. In my mind I do not see how 145lb could be more efficient and dangerous than Irish. I assure you, we (Synchronicity) will continue to throw the most dangerous possible opponents at him, but every time it is the same result. As they say, it is the era of Irish; the English are here!” Next time you have a moment click the “rankings'' button. Look over to the mid left at the Pound for Pound Rankings. Up near the top “Irish” Nick Shamrock has made himself very comfortable. Rumors have been flying that he is constantly challenging everyone on that P4P list to meet him for a fight. “Prove it,” he says. “I really do believe I am the best in the world at any weight. Fight organizations do not want me to fight a 265lb; but in the street there are no weight classes. If you are on the P4P list, you have an obligation to accept any call out anywhere”.-Irish Nick. Interesting point, maybe a super fight between Irish and Kassim Magufuli I V (Synch 205lb champ) is in the works...

Looking at Irish’s record, he is an amazing 45-8 overall. Here is the crazy part folks, of his 53 fights, 29 have been with a title on the line. That is insane. Irish is a pair of jeans on a fat man after a diet; he needs a belt! Even more impressive is his most recent stretch of fights. Six title defenses in the most elite fighting organization in the world. Time after time Irish has been served up killers. Irish remains unfazed and continues to put on a clinic. None more impressive than his most recent victory. Being real, Irish was down on the cards. He was losing the fight and getting out struck. Years of hardship building into one moment. Stair climbs at age three, an overzealous uncle at the top of the staircase timing you and screaming; missing every single school dance to train, fighting everyday in the gym and on the streets, never getting to say one last goodbye to your mom, because you were overseas learning about bjj. All those hardships came together and united themselves within Irish in the 3rd round. Where a slowly tiring opponent was slowly gaining hope that he could be the one to take Irish down, “Just two more rounds” the challenger thought to himself. Then, in a flash Irish unloaded an uppercut that carried with it the power of 37 years of hardship. It instantly KO’d his opponent. "And Still" Bruce said loudly, followed by a roar from the crowd that could break double pane windows.

What does the future hold for Irish? Who knows, Irish is 37 but has shown no signs of slowing down. “In the street you never plan two fights ahead. It is always your next fight. If you survive that one, then plan accordingly.”-Irish

Looks like we will definitely see Irish for another fight, after that we will plan accordingly.

The time is nearly upon us, the flagship event for the most storied franchise in Tycoon today. Many greats have come before and many more will follow...

Slice circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gumption to the canvas! Gumption doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Slice keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!....
Rasputin closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Harrington! Rasputin dives in looking to finish! Harrington is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight! ....
Puno walks into a straight right hand from KillsInWater.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fidel Puno's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bubba KillsInWater!
Bubba KillsInWater is the new heavyweight champion!

The fighters circle, before Kane throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into West's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kane lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Jigoro Kane!
....
Gonzalez feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Beastly crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesus Gonzalez!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Past is the Past, and tonight, Synchronicity will see its most dangerous Champion defend the honor and prestige of those who have come before him...
Nick Graves, tonight 2 of us will walk to the cage, enter and touch gloves however only one man will walk out of his own abilities. Unfortunately for you, I have already envisioned the outcome of tonight's Main Event. This fight and event for that matter has not received the promotion it and we deserve, lets make up for that and give the fans a fight to remember, a throw down that will be replayed during future Supernova Events. One that will be talked about for years to come. Lets leave it all in the cage, kill or be killed I say!! See you in alittle over an hour, but I have a feeling I won't be seeing you for very long at all...

Ian Tower

First of all let me say it was an honour to fight Syn legend Rocket Bob for the belt. Bob has been doing something amazing under his manager Bwang and I have a lot of respect for them both. Putting on the Syn heavyweight belt means a lot to me and I know it also does to my manager. Mac Little often mentioned how Syn is one of the oldest and most well known orgs in MMA. I know he always wanted to succeed here since he first started out in MMA management. So let's go back home now and celebrate this Mac!

Great write-up BigD! Really appreciate it. It's sad to see the old man go but I think he's had enough punishment and deserves to ride off into the sunset :)

I'm glad that Highjack could revenge for Kalevro's fondling of Ricky Icky and that we had the honor of being his final opponent. He was a beast.

We would like to apologise for the lack of a preview for Supernova X . Our writer had some real life obligations and couldnt complete it in time. We will compensate you all ,with a Supernova X review written by BigDGuru.

Big gratz to Iain Tower and Rhudy Rhod for their incredible wins. Big gratz to Ernest Graves too , he sure as hell beat one of our top fighters .

I am sure that Latka Gravas will come back and prove to us all that he deserves a spot amongst the Top 10 P4P fighters.
