I'm sure he is a great fighter, but nobody want sponsor a russian. in Russia the state owns the means of production, and in a case of a fighter, the means of production is the fighter. So you are actually sponsoring Russia. And why would you want to do that? Do we really need a new vodka destillery?

Anyone else think Dudley and Nanny would make a nice couple? REMI and I would love to chaperone a date. LET US KNOW!

SFO RETURN preview

from Cause McDubree

Ah, it’s good to be back, computer issues resolved and mmatycoon on my free-time agenda. That (expensive) problem had me doing a bit of a rushed/hack job on the DEBUT recap but I’ve got the opportunity to make up for it here. Which is the highly anticipated RETURN event, certain to keep the SFO and the night's winning fighters on an upwardly mobile trajectory. Though not a paid staffer/mouth piece but rather a freelance/shoot from the hipper, I can sincerely state that this is a fantastic org and if my ill-conceived clothing company, press submit Fighter Threads wasn’t facing inevitable bankruptcy, I’d do write ups at no charge for this guy… well, maybe half price. That’s enough of the ado, let’s get to the clash talk-

Settin’ off the evening’s festivities in the LHW Division, we've flown in prized Brazilian prospect, RAFAEL "CACHORRO LOCO" GURGEL (0-0) to face “Sugar” Shane Leonard (0-0) in what should be a walk for Gurgel (sorry buds, we only ‘all caps’ once). It’s a virtual sawoff in all aspects of the game for these newcomers, with the glaring exception being Rafi’s nice Muay Thai package. As long as his corner gameplans appropriately, he should have his hand raised at the end, (cue the Blondie)- one way or another. Perhaps the bigger Leonard’s (hidden) secondary numbers are stronger than I suspect and Gurgel‘s weaker, in which case, this one gets instantly interesting. As they stand, expect Gurgel to land a few too many knees and elbows in the clinch for Sugar’s debut to be a sweet one.

Shane:  I have been training harder than ever ! I expect him to come out and stand with me, but I'll knock him out for that. I'm going to put my fist through his skull. Expect a  Knockout 2nd round.   Don't Blink. Watch out, too much Sugar for you is going to get you killed. Thanks Steve for this great opportunity .

Prediction: Gurgel, UD

prez says: All predictions are from Mr Cause.

Next up is our only WW bout on this potentially explosive card, featuring another Brazilian import, Felipe “Jiboia” Ferreira (0-0) taking on Izzy “Hair Day” James (0-0). On the surface, this one holds less intrigue than our table setter, with Jiboia being the early favorite in online casinos for a good reason- and it’s colored brown. Besides the enviable Jiu Jitsu skills, his abysmal standup game will actually hold him in good stead against Izzy, who couldn’t swing his way out of a wet compostable bag. Now hold the phone, folks; the SFO pays your loyal scribe to scratch at the surface and see what peels off and in this instance, it’s energy. Take it to the bank, Ferreira does not have enough time to recover from the beatings he’s been taking in training and it will end up costing him this fight, as he quickly gasses out to an inferior foe with superior conditioning.

Prediction: James, KO 1

prez says: Let's hope these guys leave it all our there in the cage and we get an entertaining fight!

Time we move to the SFO’s increasingly interesting MW Division, where Tokyo‘s "Quick N Slick" Kohaku Tsojumitsu (0-0) meets "Dyno" Dan McGinn (0-0). Originally a student at Genki Sudo’s School of Weird Fighting, Kohaku has since shifted his training focus almost exclusively to BJJ and comes into this match proudly displaying his brown belt. McGinn, however, can box and if our Japanese submission artist is unable to get him down, punches will be raining down in bunches. The Yank will also be dealing with a size disadvantage and although it’s not a 911 situation, he should cease training until fight day so he can go in with all guns blazin.

Prediction: Tsojumitsu, SUB 3

prez says: a classic submission vs striker bout. Should be good!

In our second LHW rookie eliminator, Quebec City’s, Suave "Frenchie Bourbon" Margoeux is sure to have a partisan crowd behind him when he climbs in the cage against Irishman, Finnegan "O McMacElroy" Brewzer. Suave has the slightest of edges when standing and they split elsewhere so this dust up will likely be decided by who’s better conditioned and has been training their secondary skills harder. Or possibly, who has the granite chin and who doesn’t- since we’re not privy to that info, it makes this one real tough to call. When in doubt, go with the bigger guy…

Prediction: Margoeux, SD

pez says: Dudley has been conditioning all his fighters, don't expect Finny to gas

Apparently, the RCMP aren’t smiling over HW James “The Mountie” Mc Thompson (0-3) bringing a taser along with him to a promo appearance outside the Micro yesterday, even less so when he pointed it at SFO management and demanded a more worthy opponent than the ridiculously undersized, Lucas "Devastador" Dos Santos (0-0). Not sure The Mountie should be looking past Dos Santos, as he may be a midget in comparison but he can throw punches and more importantly, possesses submission skills that could end this fight quickly. Mc Thompson’s losses all came in QFC matches he likely had no business being in so we’re not holding the record against him. That experience could be the deciding factor here, as Dos Santos will likely be feeling the jitters in his pro debut.

Devastador: I'm training a lot of Cardio at Dragon Cage Conditioning.A great fight and he comes to fight standup, but i'll try get a ground fight.Ambar , first round.Remember me, I'll be a champion :DI love you!!!GAAAAAAAAALOOOOOOOO!OBS: sorry my english :(

Prediction: Mc Thompson, TKO 3.

prez says: This is an important fight the Mountie.

We bring it way down to the Bantamweights for our next encounter, featuring newcomers Charles “The Hammer” Martel (0-0, no relation to Rick “the Model”) and Wade “Deadpool” Wilson (0-0). Both these guys are chasing Felipe Ferreira for earliest gas out of the night honors, the fact they’re fighting each other could make this a memorable swing & a miss fest. I envision one of them collapsing after checking a leg kick that causes their tank to run dry. If these dudes make it to the 2nd round it’s because both corners have instructed their fighters to do nothing but play it safe. With almost identical statures, you have to like Martel’s box/wrestle combo, making him one of the most advanced rookies we’ve seen so far in the SFO. That and the lack of energy tell us he’s been training very hard for this fight and fortunately it looks like Wilson’s been going even harder with less impressive results.

The Hammer: I have been training cardio and circuit training to get conditioning levels high. I expect a lot of clinching and a lot of Muay Thai from him. I can win by keeping it standing up and not in a clinch or on the ground. A knockout in round 1 and a victory for The Hammer. Be wary of Charles Martel..Thanks for all the support!

Prediction: Martel, TKO 1

prez says: Game on!

Chi "Dragoon Pooh" Fu Chan (0-0) takes on the supacool, Kurt "Nightcrawler" Wagner (0-0) in what will hopefully be another memorable tussle on the way to crowing the org’s first Middleweight Champ. With the last man standing in this match tentatively lined up to meet the winner of Tsojumitsu/McGinn, this is the first step on what could be a long journey for one of these fighters. Both look ready to go, with a noticeable size advantage favoring Wagner, as well as that much loved box/wrestle quinella mentioned above. Kurt’s susceptible to the submissio, however and Pooh Bear is (barely) able to deliver in that area, which may keep the Nightcrawler on the defensive and negate a lot of his wrestling abilities. Where Fu Chan excels is in the Muay Thai game, leaving him on solid ground in the clinch. Depending on his kicks along with Wagner’s striking accuracy, Chi could potentially be in control no matter where this fight goes. That’s if everything goes right and punches don‘t faze him much.

Prediction: Wagner, UD

Prez says: good luck guys!

Our third LHW bout Saturday night pits Mirko "Cro Cop" filipovic (very inventive, 0-0) against all rounder, Mike "The Hyeena" Hynes (-0). *NO CONTEST ALERT* filipovic is going to have a battle just to make weight. Then if he does, his energy’s shot way past King Felipe and he will not survive the first 30 seconds. Guess some managers don’t want to invest time reading up in the Forum and need to learn the hard way.

Prediction: Hynes, KO 1

prez says: we can lead a horse to water

Hold on to your hats as we roll out our co-Main Event of the evening; with 3 certain to be furious rounds in the Featherweight Division. Mark "The Shark" Misirlou (2-1) clashes with Toronto favorite, "Canadian Ninja" Lucious LaFleur (1-1) in what this writer sees as the Fight of the Night. The only on paper advantage sides with LaFleur but when you see it’s based on his woeful rating, I’d tend to disregard it. Besides the better training team, The Shark has three attributes leaning slightly in his favor; he’s bigger, more experienced and has managed his energy to a better degree at the time of writing. Both these guys are purple belts so we could see submission attempts on their corner men in between rounds, just to keep them limber!

Ninja:  All responses will be direct quotes from the Canadian Ninja himself, unless they are attributed to his manager Speedbump Mccrackin.

" I have been training long and hard for this fight against The Shark. My 2 previous orgs closed down and this has caused some minor financial hardships which I look forward to putting behind me with the SFO."

" The Shark and I have very similiar styles in that we both prefer to strike at a distance when standing and we both will look for the submission while on the ground."

" I expect to nullify his stand up with superior striking defense."

" I am predicting a unanimous decision win. I predict that The Shark will be cut in the first and back pedal from fear when the blood gets in the water."

"What do I want to say to the other fighters? I say " Keep a psychiatrist on retainer to help you cope with your losses to the Canadian Ninja."

"  I would like to say thanks to my fans for sticking with me through the debut loss and turmoil involving the previous orgs. I have not been sitting idly by and wasting away, I have been training hard and look forward to becoming the best fighter the 145 lb division has ever seen."

" I would like to thank the SFO for the opportunity to fight for their Org and I look forward to a bright future with them where we can dominate the Canadian fight scene together. Just remember you can't hit what you can't catch and you never know where a ninja will strike."

The following closing comments were made by Lafleur's manager, Speedbump Mccrackin.

" I encourage all companies looking to sponsor the man who will soon be the most dominant fighter in the lighter weight divisions to make an offer now. Much like Wall Street it is cheaper to get in on the ground floor and it will only get more expensive as the wins continue to roll in. "

Prediction: Misirlou, SUB 2

prez says: Let's get ready to rock!

Time to pull out those trumpets and drum rolls L Steve The H ordered for his carefully orchestrated Main Event. He’s been assuring anyone who’ll listen that this LW fight is going to be a case of thrills and skills, with both Brian "Battler" McBride (2-1) and .DJ "The Eulogy" Penncil (1-0) having garaunteed they’ll live up to their billing for the SFO prez. The heftier Penncil will be wanting to clinch/cling & flop into guard on the opening bell, as both his standup attributes are surprisingly useless. But as we’ve seen on many occasions both here and on our tv’s, BJJ can be the great equalizer and The Eulogy’s purple belt gives him a grappler’s chance in this important 155 lb. Encounter that takes us back to the earliest days of the UFC. Though not particularly skilled in any one area, the Irishman, McBride, has shown great heart and stamina in gutting out 2 QFC wins via UD and will look to take advantage of his opponents non-existent standup to get his winning streak to 3. More importantly, it will keep him in the Lightweight title picture while he continues developing his skills to the point that he’ll be able to face the SFO’s best with confidence.

Prez says: I expect fireworks in this one...

That’s a wrap for now, my friends, be sure to join all us SFO freaks at the sure to be sold out Micro Arena tomorrow night for RETURN, where 10 more fighters are going to make a name for themselves while 10 others are left licking their wounds and gnashing their teeth over what could have been. Local celeb’s Gino Vanelli and Mitsou are slated to be at ringside along with the org’s favorite alumni, MW Kublai Congo, who still holds a vested interest in what‘s going on the Division he‘s intending on returning to. You got the skinny now ppl, make sure ya get the tickets and tell your friends; don’t cha dare miss it!

Deadpool will NOT gas out. Since signing the fight his Cardio has gone from Mediocre to Respectable. If it goes to the 2nd round its because he wants "the hammer" to suffer. Knees to the face= Pain....you'll see

you guys are overspending your energy in training, bro. all the great cardio rating means is your guy got a lot more out of the sessions but it won' t help him in this fight unless his energy level is no worse than 90%. you watch~ some of those guys mentioned are going to be breathing heavily shortly after the opening bell. one of my guys fought a dude with better skills who looked a little under 50% energy and he KO'd him with the first shot, a la Marquardt/Maia. the tycoon sim does not appear to take kindly to overtraining, especially before a fight...

best of luck, though!

just noticed my bad on mistaking Martel/Wilson's minimum energy needed to make weight with their current energy level. both are primed & chomping on the bit to get it on, my apoligies for calling their training regimens into question. picture's not so rosy for Ferreira or filipovic, who look like walkovers.

Before I make the announcements I have something to say. Do you really not want freebies??????? So far only 2 fighters who have won these awards have contacted me. If you do not contact me you DO NOT receive anything. Simple as that. It is posted in this thread, I mail the winners and Steve does too. So this will be the last time I mention this.

Now thats out of the way...

The announcement of the TKO/Submission/Fight of the night winners for Return

Marvel Combat TKO of the night- Hook, Uppercut, Hook, Uppercut, HOOK! That is the formula for the TKO of the Night. "Sugar" Shane Leonard knocked his opponent to the canvas and proceeded to pound him out for the win.

Marvel Combat Submission of the night- Once again there was more than one choice for this award however one less common one stood. After 12 and a half minutes of sub attempts it seemed that Izzy James was determined to submit the other fighter. Finally he was able to do it and do it impressively. I'll let the commentary speak for itself. "Ferreira turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips James off and cradles Ferreira's limp body as James celebrates with his corner."

BIOBONDS Supplements and Marvel Combat Present the Goodfellas Fight of the Night- This was a total stand up war. Fu Chan vs Wagner. Muay Thai vs Boxing. Fu Chan cut Wagner early in the first round with a nice elbow and was constantly trying to work the clinch however Wagner wanted nothing to do with it and he stayed striking from the outside. It was a close fight that went to the judges and Wanger won a close Unanimous decision.

For all the winners you will receive any 2 shirts/shorts of your choice from Marvel Combat and the winners of the fight of the night will receive a bottle of Clear from BIOBONDS Supplements.

Thanks to all SFO fighters and Good Luck in your future fights

-Remi Owner of Marvel Combat

Welcome to the pre-fight rundown of the mighty SFO's third event, VICTORY, which will be held at the raucous and appropriately named Wild Bob's Bar in Montreal. Promoter Lil Steve the H is guaranteeing a sellout, so make sure to get your tickets early. Now on to the bouts.

Paul “The Scholar” Yale vs. sockem “more fun then a pillow fi” boppers

The undercard begins with a Middleweight duel between two first timers, Paul "The Scholar" Yale and the uniquely named sockem "more fun then a pillow fi" boppers. Yale is a local boy with some serious skills as a wrestler. Although he will be looking to get boppers on the ground, he has proven in the gym that he can throw a punch as well. boppers had some trouble getting medical clearance for the fight due to his eerily plastic skin and the large "made in China" stamp discovered on his butt during his physical. There is speculation his manage, Sam Johnson, greased some Canadian authorities but so far all investigations have met with stone walling from all sides. sockem is primarily a boxer with a blue belt in BJJ. He will be looking to turn any Yale takedowns into submissions, so it should be an interesting fight when things get on the floor. I am predicting a win for The Scholar, but whatever the outcome, this looks to be a great event opener.

Onwards!

"Dr." Dan Wasabi Vs. Connor "Sweetness" Black

Another pair of fighters stepping into the ring for the first time as professionals, Wasabi and Black will be locking horns in a Light Heavyweight bout that should get the Wild Bob’s crowd going from the opening bell. “Dr.” Dan steps into the ring all the way from Sydney, Australia. Although residing in Montreal currently, the “Dr.” claims to eat vegemite and imported ‘roo steaks seven days a week. Black hails from rugged Moncton, Canada, by the shores of the Petitcodiac River. Coming from such a godforsaken spot gave Connor a lot of time to work on his jujitsu. Unfortunately for him, Wasabi is also a purple belt in BJJ. With Wasabi’s much greater reach and superior skill with the gloves, I see a quick end to this one unless “Sweetness” can dance and score on the inside and on the ground. Wasabi TKO in the first.

WASABI:
-Mostly cardio, just to be able to make weight ;)
-A solid standup war, since neither of the fighters can wrestle, it's likely going to come down to which one has better fists
-Crisp punches and a never-ending gas tank
-Wasabi by KO in round 2, gotta go with my guy in this one, since he has better boxing. First round he'll just test the opposition and in the second it's going to be all over and nighty night for mr. Black.
-There's a new sheriff in town, keep your chin down.
-Expect a performance

Suk “Atraps” Spartakus vs. Benito “Drummer” Verde

Two more untested fighters step into the ring for the night’s second bout. These two welterweights should provide for an entertaining match, with the lanky Spartakus, an amnesiac Russian who doesn’t have a clue where he was born, figuring to use his wrestling advantage against the stockier Verde, an 18 year old from Fremont, California. The problem for Spartakus is that Verde is a purple belt in jujitsu and not uncomfortable on the ground. The fighters are roughly equal in Muay Thai and boxing, although Verde does have a slight edge with his fists. I think this is too close to call, but should be an entertaining bout for the Wild Bob’s crowd.

Verde:
I don't talk to the press.

"Magneto" Erik Lehnsherr vs. Steve "SFO.1" Fighter

Our fourth fight of the night is another welterweight bout between two untested and practically unknown fighters. Lehnsherr comes to the SFO from Warsaw, Poland. The 22 year old will rely on his considerable boxing advantage and his overwhelming wrestling skill to make quick work of Fighter, a gutsy 18 year old from Ban Serd, Thailand. While his 6 inch height advantage might help to mitigate Magneto's iron fists, it is this height difference that should lead to some painful falls and takedowns, as Lehnsherr will be looking to take full advantage of his massive wrestling mismatch. Lehnsherr wins by submission in the third.

MAGNETO:
I have been working on my overal game.
He has excellent BJJ if I fall into his guard I'll be in trouble
My superior wrestling will keep this fight on the feet until I have softened up my oppentant then take him down and pound him out.
Tko Stoppage in the third
You dare rise against me? Your era is over, the magneto era has come!
The time is near

Igor "Rat-a-tat" Tatov vs. Sergei Druganov

Hide the popcorn, lock up the lard, and get out of the way when these two former Soviet behemoths climb into the ring. Igor "Rat-a-tat" is an absolute mountain of a man, standing 6'7" and weighing 295 pounds, although his fighting weight is said to be closer to 270. His focused hatred of all things Russian could mean serious trouble for his opponent, Sergei Druganov. Hailing from the hotbed of Soviet ascendancy, Petrograd, Druganov gives away 9 inches and over 20 pounds to his Belarusian rival. Aside from the obvious size advantage, Rat-a-tat looks to be the better puncher and kicker, while Druganov looks more comfortable wrestling and jujitsunating. If Druganov can get Tatov on the ground, will he be strong enough to keep the big man down? Assuming they don't crash through the double reinforced canvas that L. Steve the H has brought in for this very fight, it should be interesting to find out. Tatov by knockout.

SERGEI:
Working on my strength and conditioning. When you are outweighed by 20 pounds thats one of the big things you have to work on.
Well from what i've heard hes a big guy who likes to bang so hes probably going to try to keep the fight standing and look for the KO.
By utilizing my wrestling to take him down and control him
You bet your ass I do it will be a TKO in the first
I am the next Superheavyweight Champ and theres not a damn thing they can do to stop it from happening.
Everytime I step into that ring you will never see another fighter give as much as I give to win.
Yeah, I would personally like to thank Samual Trebourne for sending me the invitation to join the Butcher's Academy.

Svenderson "The Spider" Silva vs. Jordan "Mad Man" Mathers

Our next bout is a Light Heavyweight contest between, guess what.... wait for it.... wait for it... that's right! Two more first-time fighters! Should be a great match between Mathers, a 20 year old from Brisbane, Australia, and Silva, an 18 year old from Rio de Brazil, Barbados. Silva has a sizeable height advantage over the stout Aussie, who looks to be in trouble if he can't find a way to get inside and use his boxing skill. Silva, a dedicated practitioner of Muay Thai, will be looking to deaden his opponents leg with kicks and then move into clinches and work his elbows. The Aussie is a far more complete fighter, though, and should the fight go to the ground Mad Man will have the upper hand. Mathers in a submission in the second round.

SSS Has been concentrating mostly on maxing out his cardio, with a bit of strength work on top. This will be his first fight, so he doesn't expect to have a well rounded fight game. We feel that we are at a definate disadvantage on the ground, so keeping it standing where SSS can make use of his Wonderful Muay Thai skills will be the strategy. SSS will definately be shooting for the knockout, but won't be in a rush "We really wanna punish this guy, expect me to be looking for some punishing body blows. Also, I am looking to cut him as early as possible, and then really work that cut, especially if I get stcuk in a clinch or on the ground. Even from the bottom, I should be able to get the blood flowing!"
Thanks go out to Hell's Balls, and NRG Max Qual, my sponsors. Get yourself some premium NRG reduction loss from NRG!(1249)

Jordan Mathers
I have been training a lot of my MT
I expect my opponent to come out strong but then slowly get tired
I expect my fighter to win this match by submission
The fight will end in 1st round by submission
That they should watch out because there is a new guy.
I would like to say that that i won't let them down and i will win the match
Yes that my opponent should be scared

Rick "Slick" Payne vs. Christian Kongo

Another Super Heavyweight bout gets us one step closer to the main crad of the SFO's fourth event, VICTORY. Rick "Slick" Payne, a 20 year old hick form Medicine Hat, Canada will meet the 6'11" Frenchman, Christian Kongo. This should be a very interesting fight. Kongo comes into the match with one fight already under his belt, a unanimous decision loss in the QFC. He relies exclusively on his impressive Muay Thai skills, having almost no idea about Jujitsu or wrestling. Payne spent his long summers and longer winters studying mail order tapes of the Gracie brothers and has earned himself a brown belt in Jujitsu. In what should be an exciting match of two monoskilled fighters of different disciplines, I think this bout is as big a toss-up as you will see. Pick 'em.

Ryoto "The Komodo" Lachida vs. Gilmar "Boom" Junior

The final fight of VICTORY's undercard promises to be another great match-up of conflicting styles. The similarities of these two light heavyweights begin and end with their love of Samba and string bikinis. Lachida is a 6 foot, 210 lb. tank hailing from the streets of Curitibia, Brazil, an inland morass of sweatshops and gyms. It was here that The Komodo began tuning his boxing and Muay Thai skills. Just a few hundred miles up the road in Rio De Janeiro, his opponent, Gilmar "The Boom" Junior, was working his wrestling and Jujitsu on the beach. Two inches taller and about 10 lbs. lighter, The Boom will hope to keep the fight on the floor, while Lachida will be looking to strike his way to an early round knockout. Both fighters come into this bout with records of 1-0, winners of unanimous decisions . So I guess they have that in common as well... Hey, I'm not perfect. If Junior can get past the first round, I think he will get a submission victory in the third.

Nate Ellis vs. David "Rich Bitch" Bungur

Get ready to rumble! The first fight of the main card is gonna be a doozy, a lightweight bout sure to be filled with flying elbows, triangle bars, and probably at least a quart or two of blood. No nonsense Nate Ellis, all 5'6" ( and a HALF!!!) 143.4 pounds of him, has been hailed as the greatest Muay Thai practitioner to ever come out of Atlantic City. It was his grandmother Eunice responsible for this particular hailing, but still, the kid obviously has some skills . Will it be enough to take out the brown belt Jujitsunations of enigmatic Bungur, who although born in Montreal, claims Bosnia and Herzegovina as his hometown? Both fighters are one-trick ponies, but they know their one trick well. Bungur is a little bit bigger and will have a bit more crowd support than Ellis, so I am giving the nod to the Rich Bitch in a split decision.

Bungur:
i've been training my stand up and wrestling to prepare me not to be knocked out
i expect my opponent trying to keep the fight standing
i expect to win by submission
the fight will end in the second round by submission
watch i i'm coming
i will try to make the fight as exciting as pissible

"La Envidia Mata" Envidia Mata vs. "Mo" Mauricio Nicolosi

The Main Event!!! Another light heavyweight fight between two of SFO's most highly regarded fighters. Unfortunately, this fight appears to be over before it begins as Mo brings superior skills in all four disciplines into the ring. Mata, a Canadian , is a bit more popular than Nicolosi but that is his only advantage. Bigger, stronger, and more talented, Nicolosi will bring honor to his Family back in La Spieza, Italy with a knockout in the second.

Nicolosi: Since parting ways with EEG - Maurizio has remained in fight ready status and has trained hard 6 days a week in anticipation of his first fight for SFO.
Mata has strong takedowns and seems to like punishing his opponents with GnP. We would expect a leaner opponent as he has never fought at 205. Hopefully the weight cut is possible becuase the word we are hearing is that he has had a major struggle and Maurizio is highly anticipating his SFO debut. We expect Mata to try for takedowns - once he has become frustrated with his repeated failures we are hoping he will stand and attempt to trade punches.Right now we are hoping Maurizio's opponent makes weight. This has been a steallar training camp and our fighter is fit, ready, and anxious for a fight; a fight he and his team are very confident he will win. How - leave that to the fans to guess.Train hard because if you are fighting at 205 then Mo could be your next opponent, and you will be in for a battle.
Mo is pretty shy - except with the ladies - and we have kept him away from females his whole camp. So watch out Canada post fight ..."Thanks to SFO for giving me the opportunity to fight for your fans. I plan to excite them and prove that I am worthy of your contract. As long as I am healthy I will fight anyone, anytime."

Envidia Mata
Resting and taking supplements to cut the neccesary weight.
I expect him to come out fighting and try to use his knockout power.
I plan on using my wrestling skills and ground game to give me this victory..
This will end by submission on the third round.
SFO, be ready because Envidia Mata is making his way to the top and anyone who gets on my way will get hurt.
Tune in to VICTORY and see Envidia Mata make a statement on his new home SFO.

That's it for now. Hope to see you at the fights!
