finally got a quote from Igor "Rat-a-tat" Tatov, right before his debut at the VICTORY card tonight:

"forget Druganov, I'm knockin him the fuggout, bro. if can't do it round 1, it's because him run hide from big Igor. training so hard for first fight I end this quick, go shower and get winner cheque from boss. maybe go see metal concert."

not a man of many words but his fists talk real loud...

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tatov catches Drugonav with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Tatov connects with a nice looking jab.

Tatov rushes Drugonav and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Tatov stalling.

Tatov manages to break the clinch.

Drugonav needs to keep his hands up - Tatov had a free shot at his head there.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Tatov throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Drugonav stumbling backwards into the ropes! Drugonav bounces back off the ropes towards Tatov, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tatov lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tatov celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Igor Tatov!

said Igor, after his 100% rated performance; "I thank Kim Thayil Soundgarden for guitar riff on entrance music, make me go crazy, man". along with his growing fanbase, we at McDubree Management, Intl. look forward to more scintillating displays in the SFO's SHW Division from this massive young buck from Bellarus.

Here we go, the announcement of the TKO/Submission/Fight of the night winners for Victory

Marvel Combat TKO of the night- It was a tough decision as we had two great TKO's. However this award goes to Igor "Rat-a-tat" Tatov. It wasnt a long fight infact it only took 3 punches to end the fight. He through a huge overhand right which knocked his opponent against the cage. As he bounced forward he was hit with a one-two and was sent to the ground. Wicked TKO.

Marvel Combat Submission of the night- The commentary says it all, "Payne drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Payne seems to have locked his on tight now - Kongo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Payne, as he picks up the win!" High risk, high reward. Awesome submission for Rick "Slick" Payne.

BIOBONDS Supplements and Marvel Combat Present the Goodfellas Fight of the Night- This award goes to Suk "Atraps" Spartakus and Benito "Drummer" Verde. Spartakus was able to get multiple takedowns and scored some decent G n P. In the second round he took down Verder again however he got sloppy. Verder made a switch from a triangle to an armbar and submitted Spartakus very quickly. Great effort by both SFO Warriors.

For all the winners you will receive any 2 shirts/shorts of your choice from Marvel Combat and the winners of the fight of the night will receive a bottle of Clear from BIOBONDS Supplements.

Thanks to all SFO fighters and Good Luck in your future fights

KNOCKOUT! Pre-fight Commentary

Hello all, and welcome to the pre-fight dope on KNOCKOUT!, SFO’s fifth fantastic fighting foray. Tonight Wild Bob’s Bar in downtown Montreal has even more reason to get crazy. SFO’s first title fight, Pierre vs. Yacht for the bantamweight belt, will be one of the main card events. Leading up to the main card, however, we have eight scintillating fights to fill you in on. Starting with…

prez says: This commentary was NOT written by me but IS fully endorsed by myself and the *S*F*O*

“The sexy guys” Francois Gays vs. Aquiles “Remueve Pelots” Castro

What are you gonna do? You wanna be an MMA fighter, but you have three fights, each a demoralizing ass-kicking worse than the last. You go against another barely sentient fighter and see who wins. That’s the story of our first fight tonight, a bantamweight bout between 0-3 Gays (L. Steve the H’s favorite fighter in his “stable” wink wink nudge nudge) and 0-3 Castro. Castro, an 18 year old Cuban from Santiago whose nickname means “removes balls” might be playing right into Gays hands with that one. Gays, whose nickname roughly translates to “likes to have balls removed” is an 18 year olf Canadian with no skills, no drive, and at the time of writing, no energy. Too many late nights on Rue St. Catherine , methinks. Castro in a bludgeoning.

prez says: Although our color commentator likes to make jokes about my sexual preference, I am indeed straight and not homophobic!

Nick Naga vs. Bo “The Show” Hans

Another bantamweight bout is next up on our card. This time the fighters in question are only 0-1, so they might have some ability. Naga, an 18 year old Brit from somewhere called TAP, is a mat specialist, excelling in wrestling and sporting a brown belt in jujitsu. His opponent, Bo Hans, comes from Las Vegas. “The Show” is a popular guy with a set of iron fists. He will look to stay standing and pummel Naga with his arsenal of jabs, hooks, and haymakers. IF the fight goes to the floor, it won’t take long for Naga to end this one. Naga by submission in the 2nd round.

Nick Naga I have been training strength, subs and takedowns for this fight. My opponent will try to keep it on the feet, and knock me out. I will win by sub in the first round. For the other SFO fighters, look out Nick Naga is breaking bones!!! For the fans, thanks for standing with me on my first hard lost.

prez says: The winner of this fight will be NAGA!

Curtis “The Crusher” MacDougall vs. Red “Devil” Patricia

Not sure if this is a battle of the sexes or not, but it looks to be a great Middleweight bout. Macdougall comes to Wild Bob’s by way of London, Ontario. He has a lot of Muay Thai experience, even developing his own leaping elbow move, called the Crusher Cranium Musher. He is in much better shape than Patricia and must be wary of the Devil’s fists if he wants to improve his record to 2-1. Patricia, an enigmatic 20 year old from Ancaster, is in big trouble in this fight unless (s)he ends it early with a knockout. (S)he had better be looking to land some serious damage and land it quick right from the opening bell, because MacDougall has more skills, better fitness, and a more certain gender affiliation.

The Crusher by submission in the 2nd.

prez says: I'm also an Ontariorean!

Tupfama “La Bamba” Mbamba vs. Bob “sorry for the concussion” Probert

Next up is an interesting middleweight bout between the Somali boat child, Tupfama “La Bamba” Mbamba and Bob “my nickname is too ridiculously long for this pre-fight commentary journalist to bother writing down” Probert. Mbamba, at 5’9” 175 lbs. is a strong stocky puncher. He is clueless on the mat and has never even heard of Thailand, much less Muay Thai. What he does is punch and punch hard. Probert, on the other hand, while being a decent boxer, also has displayed some skills in wrestling and jujitsunating. Five inches taller and four pounds lighter, Probert has to be wary of making it a stand up fight. If he can get it to the ground, I think Probert will win. And it looks like he will be able to. Probert win by submission in the third.

prez says: Our friend the color commentator doesn't know anything about sports except for soccer, American football, basketball, track and field, horse racing, boxing, handball, jai alai, hornuss (look it up), tennis, golf, Nascar, and Baseball. Probert is a hockey thug. Expect fireworks in this one folks.

Tupfama

I love pizza. And reading the Upanishads. And J.Lo's ass. Man, does she have a nice ass. I get myself all... Oh shit, sorry. Yeah, I'm gonna pound Probert into the dirt. Gonna make Bob sob and his head throb. In the cage or in the ring I be in a rage to make you sting.

Robert “The Bulldog” Nolan vs. Samuan “Ann” Prasoetram

On the surface this featherweight bout looks like a lopsided victory for the bigger, stronger, more talented Bulldog, especially since he’s fighting a girl. However, the slender Prasoetram was born and raised by peasant rice farmers, and has a heart as big as her jaw is solid. Relentless and in superb fitness, Ann will be looking to keep the fight standing and in close where she can use her knees and elbows to wither Nolan. For his part, Nolan will be trying form the opening bell to get Ann on the ground, get on top of her, and use his weight to finish her off. One thing is for sure, Nolan better not take the little lady lightly, and he better hope that he is in top shape. Prasoetram wins a decision.

prez: Ann is a crazy woman who can hit things blindfolded and fry a mean chicken. Nolan's manager designs websites. This is ANYBODIES fight!

Robert "The Bulldog" Nolan

Definatly Cardio. I've also been working exclusively on my Wrestling skills as I hope to progress in my takedown and ground offense. I honestly don't know. I plan on watching his last match soon but word on the streets is he's good and I plan to get in and out ASAP. Take it to the ground and control it from there. TKO RD 2. I'm Coming. Stick in there the gold will be around my waist soon. I'm the future champ, I plan to be the champ, and I plan to be the best of all time.

Ann- I am sick of these people thinking I'm a dude.

Inow "Comensal" Jaw vs. "the king" Richard Leroi

Another exciting bout is next, with two equally matched light heavyweights looking for a first victory. Jaw comes to the SFO by way of o very small town in Botswana named after the well-known Brazilian city of Sorocaba. Or perhaps he is actually form Brazil but has a poor memory. Wherever he comes from, "Comensal" is ready to hit the mat and sub somebody. He will be looking to use his wrestling skills to take Leroi down, and then his blue belt in jujitsu to end the fight. Leroi will be looking to stay standing, either dancing and jabbing or clinching and pinching, and by pinching I mean using his knees and elbows in a Muay Thai style attack. Clinching rhymed better...What is going to determine the outcome of this fight is the fighter's fitness, and right now it looks like Jaw has been using his jaw too much for chewing pizzas.

Leroi takes this with a TKO in the 2nd.

prez says: Leroi is dangerous and he said thank you to me in his interview. GO LEROI!

Richard was very disappointed last fight , he lost 29-28 for 3 judges so he continue to make good training and be ready for the fight . My opponent lose his fight too so It will be a good fight for both fighters to show potentials. Richard wants just win the fight to grow up morale , hype , popularity and experience . Good luck everybody , make big fights for the fans , enjoy the show and support me in the cage.. THANKS to Steve!

Jacare "Hurricane" Gracie vs. "The Irishman" Gavin Stone

Now "Hurricane" is a real nickname. It conjures up images of a powerful, reckless, destructive force. "The Irishman" on the other hand conjures up images of a drunken redhead, singing off-key as he does a jig down a cobblestone street in a rainstorm. It remains to be seen if either of these nicknames are accurate in this welterweight bout. Gracie, another Brazilian, has a huge advantage in wrestling and jutjitsu, and is in far better shape than Stone. For his part, while not out guzzling stout and scarfing chips with vinegar sauce, Stone has some decent fists and is freakishly strong for his size. He might be able to do some damage if he doesn't get tired stepping through the ropes. I don't see Stone getting his act together enough to be in shape to do anything but lose in the 1st round of this fight.

prez says: Good luck to the both of yuz.

GRACIE I'v really been working on my Muay Thai and takedown defence. I'm well aware my opponent is an excellent wrestler, and I'll be coming well prepared. I expect a takedown right away, followed by some ground and pound, which I'm hoping to catch him with a submission.

I expect to earn a submission victory, either an armbar or a triangle. 2nd round triangle choke submission. Good luck to all of you in this event. I won't be disappointing you guys. I'll earn my first victory.

Shaniqua "Hussy" Gorbdinkle vs. Insolce "Scion" Olvo

Our final fight of the undercard, SFO darling Shaniqua "Hussy" Gorbdinkle takes on Insolce "Scion" Olvo in a highly anticipated welterwieght matchup. Gorbdinkle is a tough country girl from Broken Arrow. Standing 5'6" and weighing in at 160 lbs. she is a pure fireplug of punching, kicking, elbowing, and kneeing power. She destroyed pretender School Girl in her first fight and is looking to do the same against Olvo. With clear advantages in boxing and Muay Thai, Gorbdinkle will hope to punch her way to victory standing up. Olvo is a determined counter striker form the Philippines, whose ground and pound attack made a fool out of his last opponent. Olvo is taller and lankier than Gorbdinkle, which might make takedowns a bit of a problem for him. If, however, he can get Hussy on the mat, look for him to pound the little lady into a pulp. Both of these fighters come into the fight in great shape and with great management. Too close to call.

prez says: Shaniqua is the Hussy of the SFO and we are ALWAYS be-hind-her-giv-ing-her ... our support!

GORBDINKLE I've been fightin boys since I were knee high to a grasshopper. Back in Broken Arra I used to fight 'em then fuck em. Might be the same here, if Olvo plays his cards right.

OLVO I've been training cardio and doing weights to get my physicals up.

I expect a fight from Shaniqua. This will get interesting. I hope she is ready for me as well.

GNP baby. Enough said. A first round stoppage due to ground strikes but I would be happy even with a decision win. I am here and I am ready to compete! Thanks for all the support!

Patryck "Rush" St. Pierre vs. Raymond "Luxury" Yacht

Our first fight on the main card for KNOCKOUT is the SFO's first title fight. At stake? The SFO Bantamweight belt, which coincidentally looks like a wire connected to a flea. St. Pierre, although born in Montreal, claims Brazil as his home. He is back in La Belle Ville now bringing with him a whirling bag of Thai kickboxing and wily jujitsinations. A very detrmined fighter, St. Pierre proves the adage that the height of a man is in the stoutness of his heart. On the other side of the cage will be Raymond Yacht, a 22 year old cowpunching counterstriker from Calgary, Canada. He has looked very tough in his two victories, winning both by first round submissions. Luxury is a well-rounded fighting machine, outclassing St. Pierre is three of the four disciplines. I really don't seeing this being a contest. In fact, it looks to me like three in a row for Yacht. Win by submission in the 1st for the SFO's first champion... Raymond "Luxury" Yacht.

Yacht The name is pronounced "Throatwarbler Mangrove" by the way.

Mostly watching old Hitchcock movies and experimenting with different popcorn seasonings. White Cheddar may well be a performance enhancing supplement. I'm convinced.

I expect him to turn up overweight, out of shape and having just consumed a dozen hard boiled eggs. Should make for an interesting fight.

I expect to win unconvincingly leaving many questions unanswered and many fans disappointed and demanding their money back. You don't always get what you expect though. It will likely end in a shower of blood and vomit as soon as my opponent smells my shorts which haven't been washed since the last fight.

Who's got my copy of Mamma Mia? We'll need it for the after party.

My sponsor Black Skull Clothing of Montreal would like to point out that training naked is not cool so please buy our shirts, shorts and be sure to check out the Battle Kilt.

Many things but I'm currently out of my face on white cheddar popcorn seasoning and can't articulate them coherently.

Rush

I have been very dedicated to training in search of the perfect way to fight

it is quite technically umlutador expect a hard fight but I will do my best in pursuit of victory

Fighting hard and waiting for the right for work

I have no idea anything is possible

fight for the fights are difficult

expect the best of this fight

I devoted myself day and night in search of good form to not disappoint the time of the fight

is a great fighter with your very good card for being a great fighter ground I q he try to take the fight to a completion

Of course I have to believe in my potential because I'm not in this fight for nothing

I have no idea on my part can be both ways but I think part of it dfa q is by submission

for the other fighters they have to be prepared because when they come pro belt suffered a little

Wait for it will be a great fight

Tony "Iron Man" Stark vs. phil baroni

Our main event! Why the title fight was not the main event is anybody's guess but it wasn't and this light heavyweight fight between Tony Stark and e.e. cummings wannabe phil baroni is. And what a fight it is going to be! Stark is a 6'3" 190 lb. Brazilian from the lovely Belo Horizonte. He relies on jujitsu and his big heart. So far this has been a good recipe, as is 2-0 with two submission victories. phil baroni lost the use of capital letters as a result of the nuclear accident in his hometown of Chernobyl, Ukraine. he also has eight toes on his left foot and a third nipple, but those are pretty standard for Ukranians. On of the SFO's more experienced fighters, baroni brings a 3-2 record into this fight. He is a very strong boxer with a solid chin, so if he can keep the fight on its feet, he has a great chance to get a decision in this bout. So great, in fact, that I am going for a split decision victory for baroni.

Tony I don't need to training. Nothing. WO. 2 round. Tony stark. Submission.

Be ready! I love you guys! Hmmm....Ok!

Looks like KNOCKOUT will be a fantastic event. Buy your tickets early, and don't forget to buy a commemorative rain slicker if you a re sitting in the first three rows because THERE WILL BE BLOOD!

Steve told me to post this here because im late. Answers to the questions take 1

Red Patricia (61022) KNOCKOUT

Ive thoroughly scoped out my opponent and have been training Red to counter his strengths, exploit his weaknesses, and play to my own strengths.

I expect a solid match from my opponent, he's a skilled manager who does his research so im sure he will go after what he perceives as my fighters weaknesses.... little does he know....

How do I expect to win the fight? Id say hard work, a lot of heart, and sticking to the game plan, the rest is a secret.

Its a really hard fight to predict considering the fighters are so evenly matched. I would say 3rd round knockout by Red.

Too fellow fighters in SFO, all i would like to say is represent.

To my fans, if there female gorgeous and over 18 im single, to the rest, thanks for the support.

Id like to thank mom too. Oh and Bob Saget

That is all

Here is the announcement of the TKO/Submission/Fight of the night winners for Victory

Marvel Combat of the night- This award goes to Red "Devil" Patricia. She......? She hurt her opponent with body punches and kicks. Then through a right-left combo sending Red "Devil" Patricia to the ground and gave one more quick shot to seal the deal. Nice job.

Marvel Combat Submission of the night- There were many different submissions to choose from tonight, one which crowned the first SFO champion! However only one had their opponent scream out in pain. Jacare "Hurricane" Gracie was taken down but quickly got a hold of Stone’s arm and nearly ripped it off. This is the type of submissions the SFO and MMA fans want to see.

BIOBONDS Supplements and Marvel Combat Present the Goodfellas Fight of the Night- Once again their was many great fights on this card. This award goes to Inow "Comensal" Jaw and "the king" Richard LeRoi who both showed an excellent ground game. They went back and forth exchanging ground and pound and sub attempts. In the end Richard LeRoi won by unanimous decision.

For all the winners you will receive any 2 shirts/shorts of your choice from Marvel Combat and the winners of the fight of the night will receive a bottle of Clear from BIOBONDS Supplements.

Thanks to all SFO fighters and Good Luck in your future fights

http://i933.photobucket.com/albums/ad174/camradio/Bushidocopy.jpg

BUSHIDO
Welcome back to the SFO's pre-fight commentary. This week's event , BUSHIDO, should be filled with loyalty, frugality (except for the freakin' premium ticket prices...sheesh), honor, and a little swordplay. Well, hopefully there will be no swordplay. BUSHIDO will see SFO return to Paddy O'Malley's bar for the first time since DEBUT, and L.Steve the H. is expecting a sellout. "I got about six new motorcycles I want to buy, not to mention all my fighters to take care of," Steve quipped when asked about booking the 700 seat bar for the event. Whether or not the bar sells out is uncertain but one thing for sure is that you are in for ten wild and energetic bouts of MMA magic.

Stig "The Hammer" Johnson vs. Jake "Big Daddy" Bones

Our first fight is a heavyweight matchup between two well-trained fighters. The Hammer, a 22- year old 6'9 252 lb. Nord from Oslo, is a boxer/ wrestler with a big heart and some basic striking skills. His opponent, Jake Bones, is apparently a halfwit who thinks that Texas is not only his hometown but that it is in Canada. Standing 7'4" and weighing just under 245 lbs. Big Daddy would probably better be served with the nickname dtua fuk yao, which is Thai for yard-long green bean. The nickname serves him well for both his long lankiness and his proficiency at Muay Thai. Unfortunately for Bones, he is pretty clueless as a boxer and wrestler, and when asked about his jujitsu skills, he replied, "I stopped whacking it when I turned 14." I see this one ending with Bones in a lot of pain. Johnson by decision.

Stig I don't want to talk so much about my training or my fight tactics. All I can say is Jake is strong Opponent and I think the fight will split by decision - the better fighter will win . Good luck to all other fighters this evening

ivan "little boy" navarro vs. Chris "Canadian Perfect" Wrestling

Our second fight of the evening is a light heavyweight contest between ivan navarro and Chris Wrestling. "Canadian Perfect" Wrestling has ventured into the big city of Montreal from the dusty streets of Calgary with not much more than a brawler's mentality, a preference for fighting on the ground, a rising swell of popularity, and a penchant for losing by submission. Luckily for him, his opponent has even fewer skills to work with."little boy" is easily the ugliest fighter in the SFO. Don't believe me?
Wrestling in a unanimous decision.

Peter "The Rock" Quinn vs. "Major" Michael Meryk

Another light heavyweight loserfest is next up on the card. Quinn is a 6'3" 200 lb Irishman from Kilkenny. Citing cheaper booze as his reason for coming across the pond, "The Rock" is not exactly the next Brock Lesner. He does nothing particularly well, but he is a tough guy who is not gonna get knocked out. His opponent comes to the SFO by way of beautiful Victoria, BC. Why he left the beauty of the west coast for the gloom of the east is, frankly, hard to fathom. Almost as hard to fathom as why he is still trying to make a career of MMA. At 2-6, with 4 of his losses by humiliating TKOs, there are some pundits who think "Major" might be better suited for a role as a corner guy or gym water boy. He doesn't believe any of his detractors, though, and a more confident 2-6 fighter will never be found. These fighters are so evenly matched skill-wise, that neither holds any advantage at all. I am going to have to go with Quinn by TKO or decision in this one.

Peter Quinn
Training very hard after losing last time out
I always expect a war so that im never suprised
I will be going for the finish the minute the fight starts
Id like to say il get a first round KO but you neve know
Anybody wants a fight im always ready
Sorry bout last time out but i promise a improved performance
Not as much as id like but i feel ready
He is a tough s.o.b so it should be a battle
I never expect to win but will be going for the KO
I will go 2nd round KO
I'm training hard and never back down from a fight
Thanks for all your continued support
Tune in at the weekend, there should be fireworks

Jimmy "The Stuff" Highes v jesus "The Beast" dasilva

This middleweight bout is a tale of two stories. On the one hand we have 23-year old Jimmy "The Stuff" Highes, a 5'11" 175 lb. Jujitsunating machine from Origins, Canada. He is popular, there is a buzz around his name in the MMA circles of Montreal, he can wrestle and punch a bit, he is 2-1, and he has a porn star moustache. On the other hand we have jesus "The Beast" dasilva, a 5'6" 170 lb. fireplug Muay Thai whiz from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He can't wrestle, can't box, and don't know jack 'bout jujitsu. He is practically unknown and the only time his name is spoken is to laugh about his 2-9 record. Even though it looks like a landslide for Highes, if The Beast can get into some clinches and use his knees, anything could happen. Still, I see this as a Highes victory by submission in the second round.

Been really working on my stand up but I still have a little ways to go.
not sure. submission. All depends on when he runs out of gas and I can slip on a nice choke to put him to sleep. I'm working on a few things and will be looking to make some noise so watch out. Thanks for the support. All I'll ask is for dasilva to show up fully rested he'll need it!
I've upgraded facilities trying to get an edge on my training for the standup aspect of my game. I was expecting him to show up out of shape like in some of his previous fights but it seems he's gonna give me hell on the stamina aspect of his game. So I'm thinking he's got a few tricks up his sleeves and I have to remember that he has a pile of experience that he can utilize. On the ground either with some GNP or a submission as I'm not sure my standup is ready yet.Hopefully I'll pull a victory out early so I'm not too beat up for the after party.
Yea after we're done fighting swing by then we can down a few pints together.
Thanks for the support I'll try and improve with each fight for you
Thanks to the SFO for giving me the chance to fight for them!

"Brewzer" Finnegan O McMacElveney v Dave "shoryuken" Schultz

O McMacElveney and Schultz meet in the night third and final light heavyweight bout on the card, and if it were a movie the advertisement would call it a rollercoaster thrill-ride of non-stop dynamite action. Or something... Schultz is a local 19-year old Montrealino who looks to have a bright future in the SFO. He is a fantastic boxer and a competent wrestler with good size (6'3" 190) and good management. O McMacEleveny was born drinking Guiness in Galway, Ireland and cites the practice as one of his primary training facilitators. He drinks about 16 pints and then picks fights in yuppie bars. He also has some skill in Muay Thai, although it is more of a drunken wild man's crazed flailing than actual Muay Thai. These two fighters are so even that the winner will be whoever is more fit and shows more heart. Too close to call.

Finnegan O McMacElveney
I've been doing a lot of cardio work using CLEAR 141
A lot. I expect him to knock me out in the 1st.
I don't expect to win this fight. In fact, I don't expect to come out of this fight with any teeth left. hi. Send money, care off Montreal General Hospital.

intensely, it's the only way to go. I think you need to train harder than everybody else in order to win. a good fight. i think he's got heart and skill, so he's going to give all he's got. i expect him to try to standup a bit, then he'll realize he can't stand with me then go for takedowns and realize he can't pull it off. by utterly dominating him in all aspects of the fight. i don't mean to disrespect finnegan, i just honestly think i will knock him out clean, because thats what i do.
i'll knock him out in the first round. don't blink.i'm proud to be part of an organisation filled with such great competitors, there's not enough good things to be said about these guys. they train as hard as they fight. but i ain't here to make friends, and i intend to clean out my weight division. so just watch out for me. thanks for the support! i'll return the favor with a highlight reel ko for you guys.i'll let my fists do the talking from now on. i just wanna get back to the gym!

Juan Claudio "Futre" Huaman vs. "the Scimitar" Hakim Hamsho

A couple of mighty mites take to the cage for our next bout, a bantamweight matchup between Juan Claudio "Futre" Huaman and "the Scimitar" Hakim Hamsho. This fight is going to be all about the Scimitar. Hailing from Beirut, Lebanon, Hamsho will be looking to use his boxing prowess to cut up the diminutive Huaman. Huaman is a Bolivian peasant, growing up in Cochabamba and spending most of his time picking coca leaves instead of training. His lack of interest inhis profession has resulted in almost no noticeable abilities in any of the four disciplines. At least he is fit. Perhaps he can run around the ring until the Scimitar gets tired and then try to sub him. Not likely. Hamsho with a TKO in the 2nd.

"Jello" Jill Leonard v Michael "The Snake" Smith

Aside from looking like she has been downing to many Jello shots in her press photo, "Jello" JIll Leonard is one tough featherweight. In her first fight for the SFO she decisioned Derrick Adams in a real virtuoso display. A native of Davenport, Iowa, Leonard is in exceptional condition, fighting at over 12 pounds under her normal weight of 145. She could easily drop down a division and dominate. A jill of all disciplines yet master of none, she uses a balanced attack to keep her opponents off balance. The Snake is a different story. He is about as skinny a fighter as you will see, at 6'1" 135 lbs. It might seem like a poor body type for a brutal sport like MMA, but Smith is one hell of a jujitsunator. Leaping and darting, lapping and plunging, subbing and clubbing he looks like some kind of Amazonian wild man when he is in the ring. He was in the inaugural SFO event, DEBUT, and managed to sub Prasoetram in just over 1 minute. I don't know if he will have similar success against Leonard, but I'm not betting against him. Adams by submission in the 2nd.

Smith I have been training for a little over a month, and things could not be any better. My stand up has improved greatly.. I do not expect much from him. His bjj is not even close to mine nor is his stand up, should be easy W and a big step closer to the 145lb title I will take him down with ease and finish him off with a sub..if some how it stays standing, well thats easy, i will knock his ass out. Submission 1st round with in the first 3 mins After this win, iam coming straight for the 145lb title, then i will drop down to 135 and clean that divison out. Thank you for the support and i will be champion soon

Jello I'm glad to say that I'm now training full-time. After my win in my debut, I finally realized that I can make a career out of MMA. I gave up the telemarketer gig and spend most of my time at the SFO Elite gym in Montreal. I think he'll try to take me to the mat and work some submissions. I don't think there is really much more to his repertoire other than that. After this fight I'll actually be fighting at a lower weight class, so facing a weak opponent is a good thing, because he'll have the size advantage. I think he might be surprised when he has a hard time getting me to the mat, and if he does get me there that he can't get a clean submission. Basically, I'm going to be the aggressor, ward off the takedown attempts and really take the fight to him. I'm predicting a TKO due to strikes in the 2nd.
Nothing, really. I just do my thing. Just that I love 'em. Like I said, this is my life now, and I really appreciate all their support. Just that after I dispose of Smith this week, that I'm looking to make some noise down at 135. I'm going to keep training hard, so hopefully they are too, otherwise I'll catch 'em!

Octavian "Lights Out" Barca v Bill "Biv" Dafoe

The final bout of the undercard for BUSHIDO is undoubtedly going to be the best fight of the night. With two stand-up fighters of different disciplines itching to pummel the other, this fight should provide all the energy necessary to get the crowd pumped for the main card. Barca is the first of two Pillipinos on tonight's card, from Malabon. Standing 5'7" and weighing 143 lbs., "Lights Out" concentrates his training on Muay Thai, especially liking to TKO opponents with nasty head kicks. He holds a blue belt in BJJ, so if the fight goes to the floor, he won't be completely in the dark. That the tight will go to the floor is a longshot, however, as Bill Dafoe, a high school dropout and lite R&B fan from Des Moines, Iowa, is a boxer, pure and simple. He is a counter striker with lead in his fists, and will look to knock Barca out at the slightest mistake. Both fighters are in decent condition and management seems strong in both corners. This fight is too close to call but should be great entertainment!

Octavian I've been training cardio again and some other training (which I won't tell since this will be shown before the fight). I would still continue to train hard to redeem myself from my previous loss. I expect a tough match from him, he has been here longer than I have so don't let the age deceive you. He is a threat. Kneeing, kicking, elbowing him until he can't fight anymore. Enough said. A second or third round TKO in favor of Octavian is my prediction.
I will redeem myself. Just you watch. Thanks for all the support!

Dafoe To be honest, I've been looking at the big picture instead of my next opponent and working on the parts of my game that need fixing. Don't plan on standing for long with Barca but I'm still putting in time on my punches and kicks because it may be a different story against the next guy I face. Those skills will only come to me over time if I start working on them now.
A desire to stay on his feet... but I plan on playing the party pooper and getting this fight into my domain, where I'll be all over him like spandex on Spiderman.
By being able to take it to the ground and control the tempo, drop some ground and pound while testing his defensive grappling with the occasional submission attempt.
Submission or decision, whichever comes first. When you're 0-1, you'll take whatever you can get. No matter your record, keep on training.
You mean my mom? Hi, Mom!
Still chewing sour grapes over how I lost the first fight, with my corner telling me to play it safe when instincts were telling me to unload. Maybe I would've gotten caught in a submission earlier had I postured up more to g'np but I'd rather go out swinging than waiting. I know there's a lot of work that lies ahead of me to get up the ladder but I'm staying at it until I get there.
adds McDubree Management, Intl: THE MOST DANGEROUS 0-1 LW IN SFO HISTORY!

Barca I have been training cardio and weights for weeks just to prepare.
I expect a great showing by Dafoe who is managed by a great manager.
By keeping off of the ground period. Anything other than that is not acceptable.
I predict a unanimous decision win by Octavian or probably a knockout in the later rounds.
Don't count me out because of my first loss, I will be back better than ever.
Thank you for the continuing support

Reece Edward "Red" Duenas v "The Prodigy" John Howard

Our first bout of the main event is a lightweight contest between Duenas, the second Pinoy in BUSHIDO, and Howard, a confident brawler with a purple belt in BJJ. "The Prodigy" comes to Montreal from Toronto in a reverse L. Steve the H. migration, looking to add a second win to his currently unblemished record. He will have to be wary of his opponents takedown ability, and staying on the outside might be a problem with his four inch height disadvantage. Even though it might be tough, because of his opponent's takedown ability, "the Prodigy" will be looking to dance and jab his way to victory. Duenas is a wrestler who also holds a purple belt in BJJ, so he is definitelt ryin gto get this fight to the mat. I think this kind of fight is what MMA is all about- a wrestler vs. a boxer mixing it up to see which discipline reigns supreme. In this case I am gonna have to go with "Red", by TKO from a vicious flurry of GnP in the 3rd round.

"The Prodigy" I've been training pretty good for this fight, training hard for like any other. I expect him to come into my game and take it to the ground.
Submitting him or getting an awesome decision fight. Submission round 2 I'm coming for that belt.

"RED" I've been training real hard for my debut fight in a SFO card. My subs will be sharp in no time.I expect my opponent to be as tough as hell. He's coming from a big win and must have confidence in himself but there is no one who can stop me in winning our fight.
I expect to win the fight by taking it to the ground and let him feel the pain.
The fight will end via submission in round 3 and his face will be covered by "RED" blood.
Just paint it "RED"Thank you and keep supporting me! :)

John Howard I haven't got into training yet since I'm just getting off my last fight, but I will be training hard. I expect him to come in trying to take it to the ground, I'm very comfortable there but my striking is better so hopefully I can get a knock out under my belt too. I expect to win it by taking him out with my fists, or maybe a submission. I predict TKO or submission round 2.
This is my territory homie, lets get it. Win or lose, I don't care. I do it for the fans.
I'm coming for the belt hard.

Brad "Blix" Blixhaven v Matt "Daredevil" Murdock

LET"S GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!!!! Tonight's headline fight is a light heavyweight bout between a tall skinny out of shape Muay Thai specialist in Blixhaven, and a tall skinny fighting fit boxer/Muay Thaifier in Murdock. Blix comes from Windsor, Canada, where he spent his formative years rigging slot machines and getting is head kicked in by local mafia types. As a result, he has developed a granite chin which will make it difficult for Daredevil to take advantage of his punching superiority. Daredevil, who was born on the mean streets of NYC, Hell's Kitchen to be precise, also has an arsenal of kicks, elbows and knees, which should serve him well to counter Blixhaven's quality in the Siamese boxing style. Bilx also uses his jujitsu skills to great effect, having won both of his previous fights by way of submission. Unfortunately, Blix does not appear to be in very good shape for this fight and I think that Murdock will tire him out and win a unanimous decision.

Brad Ive done quite a lot of research, spent some time analyzing my opponents last couple fights. Taking all that i learned into consideration I'm focusing on the weak spots in his arsenal and I plan to exploit them fully to devastating effect.
I fully expect a good go from him, he has a good record and his manager has a good head on his shoulders. Im sure he has analyzed my style and will be ready to take a good shot at what he perceives to be my weaknesses, good thing I happen to be a step ahead of him.
He has a good stand up game, Id rather not risk going at it like that, so i'll take him to the ground and ruin his day down in the dirt.
I am going to say 2nd round submission for myself.
Too all the other SFO fighters all I can say is represent.
To my fans, i really appreciate the support all these years, and if your female and over 18 give me a shout.
May the best fighter win, but no matter what its another great SFO event.

Matt I have really been working hard on my kickboxing but have put a lot of effort into my cardio as well. He is undefeated like myself but I am of a different class. He won both fights by submission so obviously he is going to try to take me down. It wont happen.
I will stay on the outside and utilize my kickboxing. I have amazing take down defense too so he cant take me down.O in the first. Left Jab. Right Cross. Left Headkick.
Violence doesn't discriminate. It hits all of us... the rich, the poor, the healthy, the sick. None of you are safe. I'm not the bad guy.
I How do you kill what has no fear?

All in all, BUSHIDO should be an entertaining evening of MMA. As always, get there early and make sure you tell 'em Jimmy sent ya.
JB

Jimmy Highes

JB

The announcement of the TKO/Submission/Fight of the night winners for Bushido

Marvel Combat TKO of the night- There were none! Since there were no (t)kos I have picked 2 submissions

Marvel Combat Submission of the night- The first submission of the night winner is ivan "little boy" navarro. Navarro spent almost all three rounds pummelling his opponent with ground and pound. In the last round he went for an arm triangle and got the submission with only 2 seconds left in the fight.

The second winner submission of the night award goes out to the fighter who might have the longest last name in the SFO: "Brewzer" Finnegan O McMacElveney. After his first fight was declared a No Contest after the other fighter failed to make weight, the Brewzer had some pent up anger which he wanted to release. After losing the first round he knew he had to take this fight to the ground. So he did just that, took him down and secured an awesome Americana. Apparently Finnegan is a bit of a man whore as well "O McMacElveney is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if O McMacElveney hooks up with any of them at the after show party." Remeber pain is temporary, Pride is forever...so is Herpies.

BIOBONDS Supplements and Marvel Combat Present the Goodfellas Fight of the Night- This was a fight came down to who had the better ground game: "Jello" Jill Leonard or Michael "The Snake" Smith. Leonard definately had the advantage on the feet, he landed a few decent shots.Once the fight got to the ground, Smith kept improving his positions and was looking for sub attempts. However Leonard landed an impressive amount of strikes which was enough to earn his the Unanimous decision.

For all the winners you will receive any 2 shirts/shorts of your choice from Marvel Combat and the winners of the fight of the night will receive a bottle of Clear from BIOBONDS Supplements.

Thanks to all SFO fighters and Good Luck in your future fights
