1 Night - 3 Belts ......CHAMPIONS!

Hello, and welcome to another exciting SFO event. CHAMPIONS promises to be SFO's best yet, with not one, not two, not three, not...oh wait... yeah it is three. THREE BELTS UP FOR GRABS!!! On one card!!! Can you freakin' believe the shit that L. Steve the H. is layin' down for the fans of SFO? I can't. He is THE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN. Anyway, March 5th, 2010, aside from being Ann's birthday is going to be a madhouse at the Underground, Montreal. Celine Dion, Alannis Morisette, and those gold medal ice dancers are already confirmed as cageside attendees! So let's get on to the commentary.

prez says: This is an important night for the SFO. Thanks to all the 1000 fans for supporting us!

Jean "The King of the Favela" Abia v Jeff The Goon

Tonight's first fight features two heavyweights from the wrong side of the tracks. Abia is from Rio de Janeiro's most infamous shanty town while The Goon is, as the rap goes, straight outta Compton. "The King of the Favela" stands almost 6'5" and fights at 238 pounds. He is a standup fighter with both boxing and Muay Thai skills. He looks to be in great shape for this fight as well. The Goon, on the other hand relies on his boxing/wrestling combo to punish his opponents. Unfortunately for him, he has been putting a bit too much maple syrup in his pre-training Timmy's double double. To make matters worse, he is a bleeder, which plays into the elbows and knees that Abia is going to be raining down on him. I don't think this fight gets out of the first round. Abia by TKO.

Renzo Edery v "Superman" Clark Clinch

Stepping down a weight class, our second bout is a light heavyweight matchup between two newcomers to the SFO. Renzo is from Milan, where he lost in a QFC matchup before coming to the great state of Canada. I mean country, not state. BJJ is Renzo's religion and he is ready and waiting to jujitsufy unto Clinch, a Muay Thai specialist who lists the make-believe town of Krupton as his home. Not sure if he is in the witness protection program or just a poor speller, but Clinch will be looking to stand up and work Edery with the knees and elbows. His basic wrestling skills should help him from getting taken to the mat, where he is at a significant disadvantage. This should be a fairly even fight but it won't be unless Clinch can get some much needed rest and be fully fit and ready to go on Friday night. I am looking at a submission victory for Edery in the second round.

Clark Clinch I have been training punches and kicks for this fight. I think my opponent will attempt to take me down with his weak wrestling. The fight will go all three rounds with me winning. To the fighters at SFO I'm getting better everyday. To my fans, I'm trying, thanks for your support. To Renzo, get some wrestling skill before you try to do a takedown!!

prez says: Strong words from Clinch. I like a guy who can talk the smack.

Poppa Ping v Puncho Pound

Proceeding...Portly pugnacious puncher "Perfect" Poppa Ping and prodigious pounder pudgy Puncho Pound prepare to perform their pugilistic pursuits in what should be a great superheavyweight bout. Ping is strong as an ox and a very good boxer. His blue belt in jujitsu shows that he knows one or two things about subbing as well, but mainly he just wants to stand in the middle of the ring and slug people. Pound, hailing from the interestingly named town of FistTwoFace, Barbados, is a wretsler who likes to get on top of his opponent and hammer fist until pulled off by two or three steroid-addled security guards. Personally, I ponder whether Pound has the physical game to stay with Ping. If he can AND he manages to get the big fella on the ground, I think it will be a good result for him. Otherwise I see a TKO for Ping in the third.

"Perfect" Poppa Man, you know I be working hard. I spend half my day in the gym. The other half I go around Montreal punching things. People here are too nice...I punch them b/c I want to train, and then they apologize to me!

A lot of whining and whimpering, really. I expect some pretty funny noises when I hit him real hard. I just hope I don't hit him so hard is tampon comes lying out. I'm ok with most blood...but not from down there, you dig? Punching him in the face....a lot....and hard.

I'm going to knock his ass out real quick.

That the commish will gladly accept your resignations from the SFO after you watch my fight. He was a little upset that if they see me that it'll pretty much decimate his upper weight divisions because nobody will want to fight me. But we have an agreement...I'll get the belt real soon, and then he'll keep feeding me some more guys to beat the hell out of...the fans will love it, and we'll both make a lot of money.

Last fight I broke my hand punching the dude in the face for the fans. He was bloodied, he lost some teeth...it was great. I'm going to give them another show like that one...but this time they'll get to see my deliver the knockout!

Yeah, two things. First of all, who the hell would match up Perfect Poppa Ping with Puncho Pound? Seriously, the announcers are going to sound pretty stupid. I guess the commish likes alliteration. Why you lookin' at me like that? You don't think Poppa Ping knows big words like alliteration? Come on, he's Perfect, remember!

Oh yeah, the second thing. Didn't you guys ask me all these same questions last time? Come on, guys...get creative. Plus I spend an hour sitting here talking with you guys instead of going around punching things, and then you only include 1 or 2 sentences in the pre-fight work-up. I need more face-time...you give me more time, or I'll only answer 15 seconds worth of questions. And we both know...the SFO NEEDS the Poppa!

Puncho Pound

Iv'e been training G&P, takedowns and submissions for this fight.

I expect my opponent to try to stand and ko me.

I will win my third round ko via G&P.

To the other S H, get some takedown defensive!!!!

To my fans, I'm trying to get the finish everytime out!

To Poppa Ping, it's hard to ko someone laying on your back! You should have trained takedown defense!

prez: The clash of the heavy Ps! This one should be great!

"Tornado" Akemi Takeshi v Kevin "Killer" Kilbane

Couple of great nicknames go at it in our next bout, a light heavyweight affair between the Thai Tornado with the Japanese name, Akemi Takeshi, and the Irish infidel, Kevin "Killer" Kilbane. Takeshi, at 6'3" 205, is a wiry Muay Thai specialist who will be hoping to steer clear of Kilbane's takedowns. Kilbane is boxer with a good grasp on the ground, something that "Tornado" lacks. Another thing he lacks is any sense of training regimen, because if he doesn't get his energy up, but quick this fight is gonna be over before it begins. I am looking at Kilbane with a victory by eyeballin' as they listen to the ref's instructions. The only other thing I have to say about this fihgt is that kilbane has a lot of dough in his account which he ought to be using on BIOBONDS supplements...

prez: Kilbane is a dangerous dude. I wouldn't want to get in the cage with this guy!

School Girl v "Attack" Mack Johnson

Well, well, well... The tough-talking light-fighting School Girl finally gets back in the ring after being not only destroyed but demoralized (and possibly deflowered) by Shaniqua Gorbdinkle. The SFO is always happy to see School Girl get in the ring, because she is a magnet for, shall we say ethusiastic, responses from the fans. She brings her boxing/ jujitsu hodgepodge to bear against fellow welterweight Mack Johnson, who is so low on energy it is making me tired just looking at his bio. Originally from Ottawa, "Attack" has been training so hard he forgot he has a fight in this weekend. School Girl, who has an impressive boxing attack coming along, should roll in this bout with a first round TKO.

prez: School Girl's manager has been awfully quiet lately. She's either upset with ther loses or she's created a new account and become MMATycoon's multi biatch.

Nick Diaz v gearge "animal" jone

After two what appear to be one-sided fights, things look promising for a real battle in our next bout. Middleweights Diaz and jone are still new, still raw, and still looking for their first wins, but they have a lot of heart and desire to make the SFO and their managers proud. This bout should see them both giving their all for a victory. Diaz, who comes from beautiful, decaying Stockton, California is a boxer and jujitsunator with a lot of confidence in his skills. gearge, whose parents were obvioulsy playing a joke on him by naming him that, is prepared to use either standup discipline. He won't want to go to ground with Diaz, but will be happy to keep things in the clinch, where he can use his Muay Thai skills to soften up his opponent. This is a very close matchup, but I am giving the nod to Diaz by submission.

prez: This one is too tough to call. Let's hope Diaz took a little break from the ganja and makes it past medical.

Charles "The Hammer" Martel v "Water" Bouteille Lipide

Hometown pituitary freak Bouteille Lipide looks to improve his record to 2-0 against diminutive but deadly Charles Martel in a bantamweight bout. The Hammer is a 5'7" 133 lb punching machine. He has a huge advantage over Lipide in boxing and a slight advantage in Muay Thai. Martell is no slouch as a wrestler, either. Unfortunately for him, Lipide is an incredible wrestler, having been Montreal junior champion since age 3. That was back when the young Lipide was only 5'3". Now 20 years old, the 119 lb. Lipide stands an unbelievable 7'6". At only 119 pounds, I have a feeling that "Water" might be in for some broken bones, especially with the power The Hammer packs in his gloves. I don't see how anyone 7'6" and 119 pounds could even walk, let alone compete in a mixed martial arts fight, but stranger things must have happened somewhere at some point in the earth's history. I am taking Martel to TKO the pipe cleaner.

Charles Martel

I have been training some strength, last time I fought I was at feeble but this time I have vastly improved.I expect a hell of a fight. Every fighter in the SFO is dangerous.

By knocking him out simple as that. Knockout in round one for me.

Charles Martel is here and is ready to dominate the 135 lbs division.

Thank you for your continuing support! I promise not to let you down.

Bouteille Lipides

I have been training for this fight by training my conditioning at SFO Elite Montreal MMA. I am using top of the line supplements to help me. I'm expecting my opponent to try to keep the fight standing or take me down before I take him down. But I'm going to take him down, and try knocking him out or beating his face in all fight long to win the decision. I predict I will wear him out and knock him out in the third. I'm a force to be reckoned with in the 135 pound division and I'm looking to cement my place as one of the top contenders for the belt.

Prez: Who to cheer for? I can't decide!

Vladimir "The Pitbull" Kirkovich v Alvaro "The Engima" De Silva

The first title fight of the night! Sadly it is going to be a one-round pummeling from which De Silva might not recover. I don't know why young Alvaro didn't rest up before this fight, but he didn't and it is gonna prove costly for him. It's too bad because from what I hear "The Engima" is one hell of a jujitsunatin' spectacle when he gets going. Not gonna happen on fight night, though, because "The Pitbull" also holds a purple belt in BJJ to go along with his wrestling saavy AND his 100% energy. It looks to me like the SFO's inaugural middleweight belt will be handed to the hirsute Russian from Stary Oskol. Vladimir by submission in the first.

Alvaro de Silva, Iv been locked away from the outside world, all iv been thinking about is this fight Its going to be a interesting fight because both our strength is on the ground so it could be won in the stand up Id have to say submission Il go with me with a submission win but when is anyones guess I will defend against all comers...if i win,ha ha

Come in your numbers, your support drives me on

Lets get it on

Mark "The Shark" Misirlou v Piere "Puma" Dolinski

The first fight on our main card tonight will be for the SFO featherweight title. It is a great matchup between two of Montreal's own, 19-year old Mark "The Shark" Misirlou and 22-year old Piere "Puma" Dolinski. At 5'8" and 143 pounds, Misirlou is a wiry athlete with a very well-rounded MMA game. Boxing, wrestling, and BJJ all seem to come naturally to him. The Shark is a cautious fighter, maybe because he cuts so easily, who will look to counter attack Dolinksi's heavy right hand. And a heavy right hand it is. Dolinski is know throughout Quebec for having incredible knockout power. He is also known to start bleeding if the wind changes direction. This fight might end up a literal bloodbath as easily as these two guys cut. No matter because they are both tough and skilled and this might be the best fight the SFO has ever seen. Don't miss it! Too close to call but I am going to anyway. Misirlou in a split decision.

El "The Monster" Loco v Maurice "Gateau" Vachon

The Main event, the super heavyweight title fight between El Loco and Maurice Vachon. Obviously two managers who don't give a crap about their org or their fighters. We could get a better fight out of two fucking shovels than these sacks of crap. El Loco will come into the fight with an energy level less than 30% while his opponent Vachon might be up around 70%. What's the point? Lame.I think the belt should be withheld.

El Loco Very hard,iv been working on my weak areas because this is the most important fight of my life I expect him to try keep it standing because he will be afraid of my submissions Submission I will go with a round 2 submission I welcome all challengers and hopefully il get a lot if i can win the belt Couldnt do it without your support and hopefully we will be partying long into the night after Champions event

Maurice "Gateau" Vachon

Hard. That he won't be as lucky as that last time when we met on QFC.By making the little bitch cry, moan, complain and ultimately submit to my superior wrestling skills.Submission. 1st Round. He cries. I win. It's gonna be that simple.Watch, and learn.

Buy my t-shirts and merchandise.

prez says: First of all, good luck to all of you who are participating. Those who are coming in under-energized will pay the price in the cage. Some of you will go home Champions like The Canadian Men's and Women's Hockey Teams and some of you will go home with Silver medals like the American Men's Hockey team.

So, I don't give a crap about my org or my fighter? A fucking shovel would be better than the sack of crap that is Maurice Vachon? Based on what? Maurice may be 70% energy high today, but I can assure you he'll be closer to 90-95% by fight's time. I sent you back the quotes you wanted on time. What was I to do MORE??? Not MY fault if the other manager isn't looking up on things and will give my guy an easy win.

Nice way to treat your future Super-Heavyweight Champion, Steevie-O.

Looks like next contract negotiations will be fun... A-hole...

Next fight... You'll get the quotes from the manager... Not the fighter...

And BTW... My fighter's quotes will prove to be rather appropriate considering how much one-sided this one will be. Now, THAT'S what a good manager does.

Was not too sure if the comments were from you or Prez. But it said to come and comment up here in the forum, so I did... ;-)

But yeah, I felt a bit insulted to be put in the same spot as the other manager, who is obviously lacking a bit. No grudge, though. And I hope Prez will come back on this as well. I may not be the "bestest" at this game yet, haven't been here more than a month or so, but I've kept up with things. Knowing the comments come from a commentator, and not from you, gives them less bite.

The other Org fights I've been involved in so far (2) didn't have comments and quotes to them, hence the slight confusion on the originator of the comments.

I wrote the Pres says.

Whoever comes in waaaay under energy will probably lose. I stand by that statement!!

If you plan right and come in at 90% , you will hand an ass whooping to your opponent and get the belt. It looks like he isn't following the game :(

As an owner, it pisses me off how many managers sign up and then stop playing. I recommend EVERYONE get VIP. You will want to pay the game everyday!! Having VIP is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

I appreciate your quotes and for coming in here and standing up for your fighter! You've obviously planned your energy properly and should have an easy win.

I look forward to wrapping the belt around Vachon's waist.

L the Steve H, looks to me like you could get yourself a better commentator... At least, one with some common sense...

And Prez, it's spelled a "waist", you waste!

See you guys at ringside, when Maurice gets the belt!

That your 1-1 fighter is even getting a shot at a title is a fucking joke, man. And, ummm, take it easy. It's just a game. Of course your fighter is gonna win. His opponent, who cleaned your clock last time, is gonna come into the fight with less energy than an inert lump of clay. If your fighter is at 95% energy or above on game day, I will print a complete retraction. If he isn't, then it is deserved. You know that if your fighter fights with low energy it brings his fight rating down which is bad for the org and hurts the next event's attendance. You should just be happy that your mickey mouse fatboy is getting a shot at a belt. 1-1 title contender- and upset about being called a shovel. Give me a break.

hate on that instead of the dude who devotes his free time to putting it all together for us.

First of all, I clarified that Steve was not to blame, but Prez. My latest comments were going to Prez, Not Steve.

Secondly, I know that this is just a game. Thing is, I've been involved in online RPing games related to fighting sports for more than 5 years now. The comments you saw were not "mine" as in the guy who is typing this, but from the "manager" and the "fighter"'s perspective. Now, put yourselves in these chars' places... Aren't they entitled to be pissed?

Thirdly, I will simply ask this : I am not to blame for my opponent's lackings; I am not to blame to receive a title fight with my 1-1 record. I understand that people may not be happy that my opponent doesn't give a crap. I also understand that some people may not be happy at the fact that my fighter receives a title fight. But that still doesn't justify why my fighter and manager gets openly dissed on the quotes. My opponent will be a no-contest? Blame HIM! You're not happy at the booking? Blame STEVE!

Because Prez, quite frankly, I don't get your logic here... What was I to do? Train and exhaust myself just so I give a "close" match?

You can be damn sure, you will retract, Prez. But hey! Keep on insulting those who actually try at this game in your match comments, just to see if this helps Steve renegotiate his contracts...

To think, I was at one time toying with the idea of moving all my fighters to Montreal and possibly SFO, I think I'll reconsider for the moment. Steve, you can thank Prez and his idiocy for that.

Dear Phil-

Here's how it works. Jimmy Butler puts a lot of time, thought, and energy into writing these pre-fight commentaries so they are more than just, "so and so has such and such skill against so and so who has such and such skill." Then Steve reads them and inserts his own thoughts, under the name of Prez. Then he adds the fighter quotes.

If a manager gets his panties in a bunch over purposely sensational (in both meanings of the word, I might add...) journalism, maybe he and his fighters don't belong in the SFO. Idle threats of quitting are just that. It seems silly to quit over the pre-fight commentary, unless your skin is thinner than your opponent's energy bar. Personally, I like the fact that you got upset at what Jimmy, not Steve, wrote. It shows that you do care, which is good. And, something I think the SFO appreciates and wants. But these bullshit threats about contract renegotiations are just silly. You have one decent fighter, and he doesn't happen to be in the SFO. So if you re-up, great. I presume the SFO likes passionate managers. If you don't because you can't handle pre-fight commentary, maybe MMA isn't for you and you should look into Pattycake tycoon or possibly curling tycoon.

jimmy butler- pre-fight commentator/shit stirrer extraordinaire

ps- your fighter is at 81% with only 18 hours til fight time. He'll never make it to minimum of 95%.

Hey Prez- How'd that joke of a commentator do on his pre-fight prognostication? Was he really 9 for 9 like I have been hearing on the streets of Belle Ville?

ps- congrats on a sold out and very successful event. And congrats to all the new title holders, even Vachon!

The SFO has the best commentating in the game. Look in my sig!!!

Bahahahaha, destroyed 2 of my opponents, and got a decision in another fight. Mr. Clinch, what happened man? Before I get some werstling, you should get some BJJ buddy :P.

My other fighter, Mr. Abia, is en route for a KOTN for sure, I mean within 1 minute, he didnt miss any strikes from the clinch, and devasted The Goon with knees and elbows.

So... Anyone care to put here at how much energy he would evaluate that my fighter Maurice Vachon was for the start of the match?

I'd go ahead and say around 90-95% like I promised, but hey! I'm biased, so I'd like to have somebody else's take on this.

After all, whoever that commentating guy is, he did say that he would retract.

I think also that apologies would be in order, but maybe that's just me...
