  1. I think I am ready to give up Pulse. After telling me repeatedly that he was going to retire, and then going radio silent, Kimbo signed with CFC for what I can only imagine is an ungodly amount of cash, and now I am going to have to strip my HW title with neither Chuck or Kimbo giving me a heads up. Additionally, CFC is going to make it impossible for other orgs to survive. He is already throwing around stupid cash. For instance, my guy Emilo Rojas (linked below) got a 350/65/65 contract to sign, and if guys with less than 200 avg hype/pop are getting that cash at CFC, noone else has a chance. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=291131 I have no idea where the cash comes from, and his first two events easily lost multi millions of dollars given the fighter pay, and lack of revenue generated by it. Throw in a $10 mil to the winner tournament, and it's clear he has unlimited reserves with which to draw from. Gamma, Inferno, Syn, and Pulse have been coexisting just fine, but fighters are going to leave to go get paid by CFC, leaving us to fight over scraps, and we can't all make it. I love running Pulse, think I have done a pretty good job with it, but this is not going to be fun. I might as well cash out as well. I may be acting a little quick and rash, but this upset me, probably more than it should have. If I am wrong, someone please feel free to tell me, but I would guess that the other top orgs feel the same way I do.

  2. I can just speak for myself, but I don't care about the money. I fight in Pulse because I like the way it's run. If it makes you able to offer more competitive contracts to other people, I'll accept 1/1/1 contracts for all of my fighters. I'll keep signing fighters with Pulse as long as you keep running it. You're doing a great job.

  3. Vip exhange or not , since when is it acceptable to poach other orgs' Champs ? I absolutely expected such a dick move from a cash whore, like Scrumbellos, but not an experienced org owner like Chuck. Seems that a red line has been crossed. Yeah Chuck ,i know that you contacted several PPV org stars MID -CONTRACT !!!!! Yeah guys , Chuck is messaging fighters contracted to Syn,ICS,Pulse and possibly GAMMA too, promising them millions of dollars in order to move to CFC. Pulse, Syn, Gamma and Inferno co-existed peacefully ,without any shenanigans. I fully support Randal on this one .

  4. Randall how I get cash is no secret, I plain and simple just buy it. My job pays me on average 30 extra hours of overtime(essential worker + Hazard pay) and this has been going on since Covid started (and I don't have an outside life at the moment with 2 small girls taking up so much of my time so any extra cash goes to Tycoon). Devin wanted to enter and has the GOAT HW and my tournament is for the big guys, he wanted to basically earn more cash before retirement. As for my first 2 events, the first lost 1.3 and the other 1.6. But I over paid on purpose to get the desired results of making the top ten, its very hard to get guys to sign when you're ranked 37th or whatever it was. And I do over pay, but its the only way to compete with the big orgs, you know how tough it is to go against the big 3, and now your org has the best talent I think. So end of the day I'm sorry your HW champ is retiring, but dont give up Pulse. You worked so hard getting there and you're one of the best org owners out there, your roster won't leave cause of how good you are and how good the org is. And as for me contacting other fighters under contract, those orgs were all inactive(Jag, RFC, And Underground) and I made sure to include IF the org closes this is what I'm offering(like I'm sure every one of you wasn't doing the same). It never was a leave this org and ill pay you X amount of dollars. So whoever told you that was a liar.

  6. I realize that, but $30 real money gets you about $3 mil in game cash. He offered a sparbot with a 15k rank a 200/55/55 contract. That would mean Id need to spend hundreds of real life dollars, if not more, just to keep up

  9. - Checkmate Championship 3 Spotlight Previews - We will see a few highly skilled fighters making their anticipated Checkmate debuts that could shake up the divisions on this card! Let's start by taking a closer look at some of the bouts with the highest stakes! Let's take a look at a Heavyweight bout that could have some huge impacts on the division when #3 Test "Lets See" Run (8-2) (3-2) takes on undefeated Bubba Wallace (8-0) (0-0 in CC) Test Run has been a big challenge for anyone that has faced him and his only loss to the best of the best in the division. Run was a participant in Checkmate's "The Crowning" Tournament and got a KOTN win against Checkmate vet Olusola Oni in the first round, he then went on to fight current champ Jon Nolan in the second round of the tournament. After that loss, he turned around and faced an undefeated prospect Mo Murder who was a perfect 5-0 before Test Run finished him by TKO in the 3rd round as the main event fight at Checkmate Contenders 2. He then again was the main event on Checkmate To The Throne Finale where he faced #1 Heavyweight contender, even though he didn't get the win in that bout he got the experience of facing yet another one of the best in the division, he will look to bring that experience in this bout against a hungry undefeated fighter that wants to make a mark on the division. The man looking to leave a mark in more ways then figuratively is AWC winner Bubba Wallace, who is a perfect 8-0 in his pro MMA career, and not only has he never lost he has also finished every single fight by way of TKO/KO. 7 of his wins were in the first round and the single fight that ended in the second ended just 5 seconds in the second round. Bubba has impressed me personally with his record and I feel he will be a big threat to any heavyweight in Checkmate, Win or lose he can look forward to having a # beside his name when the rankings are updated, as I feel dominating the tournament in the fashion he did is well worth a #. He also has a win over the man who will be challenging for the 265 belt tonight. That being said the Memphis native has been given a big task for his first fight inside Checkmate and will have to pull out all of his tricks to take out the highly respected contender in Test Run, but given his track record, I think he has shown that he can handle the pressure! Who takes it? The top-ranked vet, or the hungry undefeated fighter looking to pave his way in the division? For our Heavyweight Champion Fight! We will see dominating champ Jon Nolan (9-0) (7-0 in CC) take on #5 ranked contender Anton Gardner (5-2) (0-0 in CC) The Heavyweight champ truly should not need any introduction, but I will do so anyway. Nolan is a perfect 9-0 in pro-MMA, he is the 265 winner of Checkmate's "The Crowning" tournament, he is the inaugural 265 champion and has defended his belt once already, he has a win over the #1, #3, and #6 contenders in the division and will look to add yet another contender to his long list of victims in this fight, Nolan has looked unstoppable inside the Checkmate cage and has put on some dominating performances against the best in the division, he has finished 7 of his wins in the first round by TKO/KO, but he has yet to get a performance of the night bonus, will this fight be his first? Lightweight champ Chief Aztec was the first and only champion in Checkmate to defend his belt for the second time. Nolan now has the chance to be the second and tie that record and I know he is gonna do everything he can do make that happen! but that will be a tall order to fulfill as he will be facing Gardner who is riding a 3 fight TKO/KO win streak and does not wanna disappoint his fans for his Checkmate debut. Gardner was the 3rd place finisher for 265 in the AWC tournament and will now look to take out a giant in his debut in Checkmate. The Los Angeles CA native was quick to accept this bout against the champ Nolan and will look to put his well-rounded skill set on display and try to take out the current king of the most killer filled division in Checkmate and claim his spot on top the throne and put the whole division on notice and scream "Remember the name" if he can make good on his debut and gets that belt put around his waist! Who will leave the cage with that belt?!?!?!?! We will also see a big Lightweight bout when #1 contender Carlos "The Esteemable Ese" Villarreal (5-2) (4-2 in CC) will look to spoil the debut of highly skilled #7 ranked Edgar Bravo (6-2) (0-0 in CC) Both of these fighters will lay it all on the line to try to pick up a big win in this bout. With Villarreal moving down to featherweight after this fight he will look to make sure he leaves after getting a big win against another ranked contender, Bravo, on the other hand, wants to make sure that doesn't happen and wants to make a huge leap in the division by taking out the #1 contender in his debut! We will also see some ranked talent in - 145 - #3 Chase Buchanan (3-1) (1-0 in CC) vs #5 Donald Fisher (4-2) (0-1 in CC) - 145 - #4 Siete DiMaio (2-0) (1-0 in CC) vs #8 Anderson Beach Boy (3-2) (1-0 in CC) - 170 - #9 Logan Barrengarry (2-1) (1-0 in CC) vs Lil Dicky (4-1) (0-0 in CC) - 205 - #10 Nicholas Dienekes (3-1) (2-1 in CC) vs Bobby Conger (3-0) (1-0 in CC) We will also these unranked fighters who will look to make big statements! - 265 - Earnie Shavers vs Bloodsport Unknown - 155 - The Undertaker vs Manco Capac - 205 - Ian Justino vs Thicc Nation

  11. Like others have said, money is way down the list of reasons I sign with an org. Realistically it’s not on the list at all. 1) Good org owner 2) Good competition in the division 3) Good writeups, maybe? Good logo?!? . . . 20) Getting paid enough for my fighter to train at my private gym . . . Not on the list) Getting loadsa money!! What am I going to spend it on? VIP days, when I already have years? Avatars, when I already have more than I can use in years? Giving to random noobs in game? <- actually quite fun..

  12. Newly created fighters are coming in with 4700 P4P ranking. That's a good max threshold for how many active fighters there are total. I'm going to round down with all these numbers when possible to make it seem a little less drastic. Population of ID restricted orgs: 330K = 200 fighters (2 orgs) 340K = 400 fighters (4 orgs) 350K = 1050 fighters (7 orgs) 360K = 650 fighters (6 orgs) ID org page: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65119&page=1 Then you have a grappling org (140 fighters) and two KT orgs (200+ fighters) That's 2,640 fighters off the 5,000 fighter pool. We won't take into consideration inactive managers. Anything you can think of that extends this active fighter pool, there's more that can actually diminish it like sparbots. In reality, this number is a very generous number imo. Approximately 2,360 fighters left over for the unrestricted market. Let's say people settle for 20 fighters per division. Perspective for unrestricted ID market: 8 divisions (135, 145, 155, 170, 185, 205, 265, 265+) 20 fighters per division = 160 fighters / 120 fighters if eliminate 265+ and 135 http://www.mmatycoon.com/rankingsfightorgs.php There's 19 active-ish ID orgs, 1 grappling org, 2 KT orgs. 23 non-unrestricted orgs. Give or take 27 unrestricted orgs out there to compete for a generously inflated 2360 fighters, leaves each of em around 87 fighters per org. Say there's only 20 active unrestricted orgs, would put each at 118 fighters if split equally. 14.75 fighters per division. not really viable. orgs are gonna sink. idk what this means. I always tell everybody that unrestricted is a really tough market. best chance to survive it is come from ID org and keep loyal managers from start to unrestricted or pay to play in a sense of pissing tycoon cash away on contracts, how you acquire it is irrelevant, tycoon money needs spent to try lure fighters over. btw these numbers are probably really generous considering the amount of sparbots, inactivity, and unofficially retired fighters.

  13. As long as no actual poaching of contracted fighters happens, its honestly just fair game. Yeah it'll make it a lot harder for the other top orgs if a new big contender pops up propped up by Saudi oil money - but that's just like the real world too. I for one will always choose where to take my fighters based on factors entirely unrelated to the cash and Pulse / ICS are my two favourites at the top currently. You've done a great job running Pulse, as I've told you before and I would hate to see it shut down or even fall into anyone else's hands.

  14. Thomas Bolleke A press conference gone wrong. “So, you know what you have to do?” Mentor asks, nervously combing what’s left of his grey hair. “Yes,” I say, clutching my head. “You lousy bum! You shouldn’t have gone partying. You’re a champion for Pete’s sake. Act like one!” “Hey! I won back the belt, didn’t I?” I say, showing off the golden GAMMA middleweight title hanging around my waist. “It was a lucky shot. And you shouldn’t have lost it in the first place! We had a super fight scheduled and you losing blew it all to hell.” “Now you get a second shot.” “Exactly,” Mentor says. “So don’t you dare blow it now, you lousy bum.” “How could I possibly blow it?” “You said the same thing before the rematch with Falcone.” “Mistakes happen. But don’t worry, I won’t let it happen today.” “Just remember. Call him out and walk away,” Mentor says before walking away himself, taking his place behind the microphone. Cameras flash like lightning as Mentor addresses the army of journalists before him. Thunder rumbles in my brain until it gets hit with lightning. “Oh crap!” I whisper. “Who do I need to call out again?” I can’t ask Mentor anymore, he’s already speaking to the press and I’m up next. Oh no, what do I do? I grab my phone, go to the MMATycoon forum and look at who everyone’s talking about. “Thomas Bolleke!” Mentor yells. “That’s my cue.” I panic, nearly dropping my phone as I put it in my pocket. I race to the microphone, trying to catch my breath. I only read one name but that’s enough. I know who I have to call out now. “Ladies and gentlemen,” I say, grabbing the microphone tightly. “By regaining the GAMMA middleweight title, I reclaimed the throne and solidified myself as the best middleweight in all of GAMMA.” I wipe the sweat off my brow, steadying my nerves. “Now it’s time to reach for new heights. I want to challenge the world and solidify myself as the best fighter on the planet.” I look at Mentor, he proudly nods at me so I continue, now braver and louder than before. “To be the best, you got to beat the best. So that’s why I hereby challenge the best fighter in the world. I challenge you, … Paddy Mcgillicutty!” “What?” Journalists start to whisper. “Paddy who?” That’s when it hits me. Paddy was not the name Mentor told me. It was something else. If only I could still remember that name, it’s like the name is on the tip of my tongue but the letters just won’t come out. “YOU LOUSY BUM!” Mentor yells. I turn and look at the old man. The old man is hovering in the air, a thunderous energy radiates from his body. His hair has turned from grey to blonde, spiking upwards like a golden flame. His muscles are bulging, nearly bursting out of his clothes. “Call him out and walk away,” I say, repeating Mentor’s words before I run for my life. THE END?

  15. http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1592060577SP_Poster_155CSS.png Sucker Punch Preview Lightweight Cockshot Sorter Series: SEMI-Finals Hey all you Sucker Punch fans! Guess what? It’s time for some Lightweight action! Well, mostly Lightweight, we have a couple other fights mixed in this week as well, but the big focus for this card is definitely the Lightweights and the Semi-Finals of their Sorter Series! I’m Hare Rumpler and I’ll be looking ahead at the event tonight with my partner Donkey “Dan” and our vivacious media correspondent, Suzy Sucker Punch. As we head into the semi-finals of our Lightweight Sorter Series with this card we will see those two fights along with six more Lightweight contests. In addition, to begin the top half of the card we’ll also get a chance to see an extra contest between Welterweights Konrad Wagner and Alex Driver, both two very talented up and coming fighters! And starting of the evening will be a little sparring bout between two of my own Middleweight fighters competing at Openweight to see if they have what it takes to be the guy I send on to another tourney being held elsewhere. When it comes to action, the Lightweights almost never let us down! These smaller-ish dudes really get out there and get after it, and I expect that we’re in for a stellar night over at the Bondi Outdoor Arena in Sydney! So, without further delay, let’s hear about Shadow Warrior Nutrition, and then get to things! http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1584375781SWN.jpg Shadow Warrior Nutrition isn’t just out merchandise and sponsor for these events, but they’re also our trusted source for training supplements for our fighters! These guys do so much for us, between the extra bit of income that we get at the events that helps with the Of the Night awards to just being there with their Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q, the fantastic energy loss reduction supplement that keeps our guys training and helps to keep them from dropping down on energy! Now would be a great time to get yourself some fantastic sups to help your fighters out, you won’t be disappointed, check them out today! Now, let's get to it! Bonus Middleweight Sparring Bout Aleksei Yahontov (0-0-0) vs. Luca Romano (0-0-0) Not really a lot to say here honestly. Two kids, both with no fights under their belt and both trying to show that they’ve got something else hidden away that makes them worthy of a permanent shot in my, Hare’s, stable. Also, the best of these two will go on to the tournament over at Diamond Fight Nights run by Rei. So here’s hoping for granite chins and great levels of confidence for whoever loses this fight! Both have decent to very decent learning speed, so I’m excited to hopefully get at least one diamond in the rough here! Anything Donkey…? Donkey’s Pick: Doesn’t Matter Knowing your luck Hare, you’re going to get one guy who bleeds like a hemophiliac and another who spends his training time moonwalking and gardening! I hope not though, hopefully you get one with a granite chin or some nasty knockout power behind him! Morale wise, for the guy who loses, assuming a decent hidden is found, you’ll be hoping for one that doesn’t drop at most more than 15-20% of his morale after a loss. Anything more than that can spell trouble with the confidence man! ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #1 Erik Versteeg (0-3-0) vs. Jank Stank (2-5-0) Ok, our first Lightweight bout of the evening sees Stank come up against Erik Versteeg. Now, are you guys sick of hearing me talk about how Donkey isn’t going to be happy with the morale or energy situation when it comes to preparation for fights? Well, if you are, then you probably want to skip the next line or two! Because yep, both of these guys have their morale down a little bit, Versteeg more than Stank, but not by a ton. I’d estimate that Stank is coming in at about 75% morale, while Versteeg has about 60-65%. Still not good, especially being that Versteeg also is missing about 10% or so of his energy. Bah. Not exactly what you want to do when you’re looking for your first win still there, Mr. Versteeg! Anyways, Versteeg has the Muy Thai and BJJ advantage in this fight. Stank will have the advantage in boxing and wrestling. Interesting combinations. Versteeg has lost all three of his prior fights via submission. Lucky for him, he probably doesn’t need to worry about that this evening, as one of Stank’s two wins came via TKO…the other via a decision. Stank has lost via submission twice, so it’s unlikely he wants to be on the ground, at least not for that reason. As for what Versteeg will try to do to win this, well, your guess is as good as mine as his three losses haven’t shown a consistent pattern for what he’s looking to do with his skill sets yet. Perhaps we find out tonight! For Stank, he’s also a bit of an enigma. In his prior fights, he’s tended not to be able to dictate where the fight takes place, so it’s hard to say exactly what his preference is. Two fights back, he surprisingly dragged the fight to the ground from the clinch, and started trying subs with his white belt in BJJ. Interesting. But ultimately it didn’t lead to a win. He needs one tonight, just as badly as Versteeg does, so let’s see what he decides to do to get one! Who gets their first win Donkey…? Donkey’s Pick: Stank via TKO (Strikes) Not sure if it’ll come on the ground or standing, but my thoughts are that Stank wins this via strikes. I think Versteeg has too much going against him tonight with regard to the morale and energy situations, and I just can’t take that and run with it for a pick! Unfortunately, that would send Versteeg to a less than stellar 0-4, so for his sake he better prove me wrong! ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #2 Ko Artist (1-3-0) vs. Corona Virus (0-2-0) Ya know Donkey…I wonder if anybody has taken notice to a trend over the past several weeks? Especially, as we start to get further and further here into the Sorter Series tournament rounds, and with tonight’s event being the last of the Semi-Final cards? Let me help folks out…who do you normally see early in the cards? Yes, that’s right, the guys who are potentially struggling a little bit, don’t have the best records yet, might really need a win, etc. And…not always, but typically…when we start out a card, and you hear me saying that Donkey isn’t going to be happy about morale, or energy, etc…where is that? Yep, at the beginning of the cards most of the time! Bingo. So…one plus one probably in most cases equals…well, two, right? Bingo! If you come to your fights unprepared with your morale or energy low, you’re going to increase your chances of losing. And that’s why over time, you end up not having such a great record and struggling. That’s now always the reason why a guy finds himself struggling, it could be build, could be hiddens, could be camp strategy, etc. But more often than not, if a guy is coming into fights unprepared…he’s probably in one of the first four fights on the card. Not hard to see the correlation there, huh? So people…come prepared! Not like KO Artist tonight…who is coming into this with about 40% morale. Or Virus, who isn’t very low on morale, not topped off, but not very low, but is coming in probably with about 90% energy. Every. Little. Bit. Counts. When you’re trying to win, you need to do all the right things. These aren’t the right things. Lecture over…but see, now I don’t have much time left to talk about the actual matchup… Artist has the advantage here in Muy Thai and wrestling. A nice combination, and you’d think he’ll try to use that advantage to clinch up and deal out the abuse. Virus is the much more accomplished boxer, so he’s going to likely stand there and try to keep his distance. Donkey, what say you sir...? Donkey’s Pick: Virus via TKO (Strikes) Pretty straightforward here. If Artist can clinch up and dish it out, he’ll likely win. If Virus can prevent that, he’ll have a good shot at the win. Given Artist’s lack of morale and confidence, I’m thinking he can’t commit to clinching and holding the advantage that well, so Virus should get another win here and pull close to .500. ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #3 Rey Bargos (0-3-1) vs. Conor Notorious (2-4-0) For our next fight, we see Bargos facing off in the cage with Conor Notorious. This is another pairing where both kids really need and should really want a win in the worst way! Rey’s record is 0-3-1 overall, but really 0-1 in MMA. He lost to Frankie Logan in the first round of the Sorter series, so there is no shame in that loss as Logan has scared away more than one competitor already who flat out refused to even fight. And in that fight, Bargos took it to a surprising decision, so there’s that to fall back on as well. He comes in slightly off on morale, but not badly so. He should still be able to give this close to his best shot. Bargos has the advantage here in wrestling and BJJ, but has exceptional Muy Thai as well, similar to Notorious’ Muy Thai skills. With Rey having the advantage in wrestling and BJJ, you might think that Notorious had better worry about this fight going to the ground. And honestly, that is always a possibility. But that wrestling advantage may be what Bargos needs to impose his will over Notorious in the clinch, where he can take advantage of his considerable skills there. For me, I think that’s probably where I’d want to go, despite equivalent Muy Thai skills! Notorious has zero ground game. So, if Bargos does decide to try and take it to the ground, he’s going to want to do everything in his power to deny him that advantage! He should stand his ground and try to strike from distance. One of these guys is getting a win, which one Donkey…? Donkey’s Pick: Bargos via TKO (Strikes) I disagree with you Hare. I think that in this particular matchup, Bargos can certainly use the clinch and do some damage there to soften up Notorious and wear him down, but eventually I’d see him dragging this to the ground and using his wrestling advantage there. Any ability Notorious would have of keeping this on the feet and winning via strikes is nullified by his low energy coming in, so I have to go with Bargos here and predict he gets his first win tonight! Suzy Sucker Punch: Hey, I don’t know if you guys saw it or not, but Rey Bargos visited the Sucker Punch forums leading up to the fight tonight. He made it clear that he was more focused than ever heading into this thing and that this was an all or nothing, let it all hang out and go for glory fight! He’s basically hanging his career on it, and while I don’t know that it needs to come to that, maybe he’s using that as his motivation to come away with the win tonight. Whatever it takes boys, but it sounds like he’s focused and ready to bring it! ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #4 Rock Lee (1-1-0) vs. Sho Pereyra (1-3-0) Donkey, finally buddy! Finally! Yes, two guys who look more or less mostly prepared for this fight! No significant lows in energy or morale…well, Pereyra is slightly off on morale, but nothing eye raising. Nice, now we can have an all out fight boys! Rock Lee comes into this one with the advantage in boxing and Muy Thai despite both of these young warriors being 19 years old and having been training since about the same time. So that will obviously make us wonder…could Pereyra have the better physicals and some secondaries? Or is he simply behind Lee in development? Lee got a win over Virus on the last card, a decision victory that he took the distance and put in the nasty little judges’ hands. But he came away with the W, and that’s what matters! In that fight, he clinched up more than a bit over the course of those three rounds, although he never really was very active and aggressive in the clinch. Most of his strikes landed from distance, especially with his kicks which he landed with significant accuracy. That’s really where he got the points and won that match. Being that these two have identical builds and skills other than boxing and Muy Thai, you can expect a lot more of the same tonight I’d think, only perhaps a bit more refined in approach from Lee. Pereyra is 1-3 in his career and is also coming off his first win! A beautiful armbar submission victory over Erik Versteeg, which had to feel good after he lost by the exact same move to Bobolo Jubbly in Round 1 of the Sorter Series. So nobody can say this boy doesn’t study his fights and learn from them, heck, even stealing the moves that worked against him! He’s not going to want to stand and trade shots with Lee I’d expect, so there is a good chance he takes this to the ground again tonight. Donkey, you have a pick for us in this one…? Donkey’s Pick: Lee via TKO (Strikes) Lee may have the advantage in skills overall, so I’m taking him based upon what we know. But it’s what we don’t know…and that’s what the secondaries and physicals look like, that could come back and bite me on this pick if Pereyra can use dominance in those areas to control the fight! ********* Welterweight Main Card Bout Konrad Wagner (1-0-0) vs. Alex Driver (1-3-0) Moving into the top half of the card, we open things up here with a Welterweight bout that seems a little out of place on this card! Well, these two needed to get a fight in, and we had a spot on this card, it was a match made in heaven, no pun intended, so here we are! And here we go with me ranting again Donkey! Well, ok, let me lay off the rants and just say it quickly and simply…Driver is not really all that prepared for the fight. His morale is about 15% off and his energy is probably about 30% off. Not putting the best foot forward! He is 1-3 overall, but 1-1 in MMA. Looking back at his last fight, I can’t judge the morale start, but he was off by about 10% on energy to start. The fight before that, which he won, he came in at 100%...are we seeing a trend? Driver has a slight advantage in Muy Thai in this one. But that’s not going to help if he can’t muster the confidence and energy to use it. Konrad Wagner is a very young kid, coming in as a 361k creation, but having proven himself more than capable with a win in his debut against Igor Nox last month! TKO in just over a minute as well. He’s fully prepped, energy and confidence on high, and I expect him to use his superior boxing to set up for another victory tonight! Donkey, got a pick in this one…? Donkey’s Pick: Wagner via TKO (Strikes) Wagner clearly is focused and prepared, and showed some significant skills and a fairly quickly developed build for his age and time spent training. Clearly the kid is a quick study and those lethal hands of his should get the job done tonight. I wouldn’t play around in the clinch too much against Drive if I were him though, or Driver could turn this thing around and if he can do damage fast enough, he could surprise and build confidence for himself in the fight early. ********* Lightweight Main Card Bout #1 Mike Snot (4-0-0) vs. Valery Bokov (1-2-0) We have what should be a fantastic match for you folks coming up next here! Normally I’d say something about Snot coming in a little low on energy for this fight. However, if Snot is going to win this fight…well, energy probably won’t come into play anyway if he goes with his normal game plan. What is that game plan you may ask? Well, Mike Snot prefers to dish out the pain, do it quickly and get things over with in under three minutes. He’s done that three times out of his four fights. The other fight was his first, and made it into the second round before he figured out that ending it in the first was just so much easier! Snot has wonderful Muy Thai skills and proficient wrestling, a combination that should immediately make you, as his opponent, say, “No sir, I’d prefer not to slow dance this evening!”. However, dance partner beware, he also proved in his last fight he can get at his opponent anywhere on the dance floor, even from separation. Bokov’s skills lie in a completely different area, so we’re going to see a standup versus ground game battle in this here little foray this evening! Bokov and Jubbly had an all out war last month the last time Bokov fought, with the ground game playing a big role. In the fight before that, Bokov won via submission over KO Artist, ending it with an Americana in under a minute! Bokov’s approach will be simple…get this to the ground…and from there, tap your ass out! If he can get Snot to the ground early, he can wear Snot out and get that sub. But he better watch Snot’s dangerous hands in the meantime while trying to get him there. Donkey, which way do you think this one swings…? Donkey’s Pick: Bokov via Submission (Armbar) I think Bokov does get this to the ground, and from there Snot will be in trouble. If this fight goes on for any length of time, which it may not even if Snot doesn’t wear down and get tired, Snot will start to lose steam due to coming in less than rested. However, it’s not difficult to see this one ending VERY early if Snot lands the right shot standing, or Bokov can slap on a quick submission! Suzy Sucker Punch: Guys, I spoke with Yury Bagrov earlier this week before they got ready to head in our direction for the fight tonight. I think you’re going to love what they’ve been up to leading into this thing! Yury Bagrov: Tomorrow Valery will face the most dangerous opponent of his career. As we speak Valery is on the training session grappling with circus bears. I have never seen him more serious and motivated for any of his previous fights. Russian sambo will prevail! Donkey: Suzy, you’re telling me that he’s been wrestling with circus bears?!? Seriously? Please don’t tell Hare about this, you know he’s going to make a giant fuss and go on and on about it…I’ll never hear the end of it, he’ll love this stuff! ********* Lightweight Main Card Bout #2 Veljko Bakocevic (2-5-0) vs. Two Two (3-1-0) Donkey, this kid’s mom had some serious issues I think! Was she high when she had this kid?!? I’m trying to figure this out…was he the second child, and she just said, hmm…Two Two! Or, maybe he was the fourth, and she was working on her addition tables?!? I dunno, but man, I mighta changed my name by this point in life if I was him. Anyways, Two…um, Two…will be facing Bakocevic tonight in our last Main Card bout before the Main Events! Good for him, this kid comes into the fight pretty much fully prepared, that will make you happy Donkey! Right? Or doesn’t anything make you happy? Anyways, Two has a 3-1 record all from QFC fights up to this point in his career. So this is a first big test for him, can he take the wins and skills he’s developed and translate them into “real” wins against org level competition? Well, we’ll find out tonight! He’ll have the advantage in Muy Thai, but his wins have all come via a combination of both sets of standup skills. Typically using the clinch as a supplementary tool to wear down the opponent and then finishing them with the hands. Bakocevic appears to have the advantage in other areas tonight, specifically in boxing and definitely on the ground with his Jiu Jitsu skills. However, he comes into this thing with his morale at about 65%, not exactly the ideal way to go about seeking a win! With a 2-5 record, he very much needs one here as he’s gone 1-1 since joining Sucker Punch. This should have been a match that gave him the advantage, but due to the morale, I’m not sure you can call him the favorite. He’ll want to get this to the ground and work the submission game as he did two fights ago against Virus…but the problem is…or question I should say…will he have the confidence and drive to successfully get this thing to the ground? We saw earlier this week with the Fury/Lamb fight for the Light Heavyweights what can happen when an accomplished submission artist comes in with low morale. Now, Bako’s isn’t as low as Fury’s was, but…we shall see! Donkey, any additional thoughts here…? Donkey’s Pick: Two via KO (Punch) Bakocevic has shown himself to be susceptible to a good striker. That morale could be an issue. I still think he stands a very good chance of winning this if he can get the takedown. Actually, if he gets the takedown, I’m certain he does win this. But…I’m going with the upset and saying Two gets to him with the hands first! ********* Co-Main Event Lightweight Main Card Bout #3 Piney Winston (6-1-0) vs. Demi Achilles (4-1-0) Our Co-Main Event of the evening is a big fight for these two, as there is a great chance that one of these two young lions may be one of the first in line to challenge for the championship in the next couple months! Piney Winston is a very impressive 6-1 so far in his career, with his only loss being his first fight which was likely a “see what’s there and the morale loss” fight in the QFC. He went on to win four more in the QFC, which is great and all…but what we really needed to see was if he could win in org competition? The answer to that so far has been, “YES”. He defeated Abiht two fights ago and then went on to take out Jank Stank in his last fight, with all of his victories to date coming via submission. So…I guess he plans to stand and strike with Achilles tonight?!? Hahaha, yeah, not so much! He has very limited standup skills, but what he does have is a very specific set of grappling and Jiu Jitsu skills…skills he will use to try to take Achilles down…and defeat him! Achilles, however, is not like the rest that Winston has faced. He has some boxing skills…but he, too, has a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu, and has won his fights via Sub as well as one KO! So…he’ll be able to strike and have a definitive advantage there if he can keep it on the feet…or if it goes to the ground, well, he’s just as dangerous there as Winston is! So that will be a LOT of fun for all of us! The difference maker may come down to Winston’s wrestling, which is a bit better than Achilles’. Wow Donkey, a possible war here…? Donkey’s Pick: Achilles via Submission (Kimura) This is a very, very tough one to call. I’d say the first one tonight where I really have to pause and think this through a bit. Both of these men are fully prepared for this fight, which I love. So it’s not going to come down to one of them automatically having an advantage. But…Winston is coming in heavy and is going to need the extra hour and hot tub to lose the extra pound or two…that doesn’t drain you completely, but it can have an effect. It also means that Achilles is the lighter, potentially quicker and better conditioned fighter…who also happens to be shorter with less lanky legs and arms to catch hold off for subs! I’m going to go with Achilles on this and I think he gets ahold of one of those lanky limbs of Winston’s! ********* Main Event Lightweight CSS Round 1: #3 vs. #15 Tua Graves (4-3-1) vs. Vinicius Verreira (2-1-0) Our Main Event of the night features two kids going at it in the Semi-Finals of the Lightweight Sorter Series! The other pair of semi-finalists will be having their contest a week from this event, as one of them was taking part in the TWGC which prevented scheduling them for this weekend. Vinicius Verreira has surprised everybody in this tournament to date. He came in as the #15 seed, defeated the #2 seed in a very talented Demi Achilles, then went on to defeat a dangerous Veljko Bakocevic in the second round to make it to this point. He is not to be taken lightly! To call him an underdog would be a huge mistake, as while he may be that based upon seed, his skills in this one actually give him the advantage in this matchup! He has competent boxing, wonderful Muy Thai, superb wrestling and a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu! Wow…that’s a pretty complete package. All of his wins have come via strikes…and they have come FAST! Not a single fight has gone past a minute…and one of them was ended in 10 seconds! Yeah…um, did I say WOW? Graves is no slouch. That’s something we should make clear. He has very competent wrestling and a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu. He’s also 24 years old and was training from a very early point relative to most fighters in this org, much less just the division. He’s worked his way through this Sorter Series tournament with deadly technique in submissions! An americana last fight versus Conor Notorious and a guillotine before that against Erik Versteeg, a beauty that earned him Sub of the Night I might add! But…now he faces a truly formidable test…yes, he has sub skills. But Verreira has a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu as well, although we don’t know if it’s offensive at all, or just defensive. Even if it’s defensive…wow, that could make this a tough night for Graves. And that’s assuming he can get past those very dangerous hands of Verreira’s in standup! This is a very dangerous, very tough fight for our #3 seed this evening. One he may have been hoping somebody else could prevent before it got to this point! What about it Donkey…? Donkey’s Pick: Verreira via TKO (Strikes) Those hands of Verreira’s have proven to be deadly…and that brown belt may prevent him from being taken advantage of on the ground. The complete skill set in play here for Verreira is hard to look past. If Graves wins this one, he will have truly earned it and we should be bowing down to the man who will go to the finals and represent this division in its first title match. But if he wants to do that, he has to get past this very dangerous opponent first. But I’m calling this for Verreira until somebody can take him down here at Sucker Punch! ********* So there we have it Sucker Punch fans! The Lightweights are back in action with a little bonus action from some friends and family brought in from other divisions, haha! This night may start out a little slow due to the condition of a couple fighters, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be fireworks in those matches too, so if you like finishes, those are some ones to see for sure! But get in those seats sooner than later, because the matches only get better and you won’t want to miss the action! Enjoy the show folks, and see you soon…and in the meantime… Keep it cheap and dirty…Sucker Punch Pro Series 355k+ style!

  16. I couldn’t care less about money in the contract, I just want a good owner and solid, fair competition and a fair shake when being offered fights. Pulse has always been awesome.

  17. i don't think the top managers choose an org for their fighter based on money offered to be honest, surely everyone is loaded and has more cash than they can spend. i believe if you run a good org, such as Pulse, Gamma, Syn e.t.c then the top fighters will still come! i can only speak for myself but i can not remember the last time i chose an org over another based on money offered.

  18. Keep it open bro. Don't worry about it. No one wants to put all their fighters in one org anyways. Maybe do some cross promotions with others?

  24. Not sure why the mails (or wiki pages) havent been tweaked either to take out the flight text. Guess its more effort for Mike, especially if he ever turns flights back on. Cant help but think its currently a disadvantage to newer players that dont use the forum / alliances though and waste money/energy on flights

  29. Was also thinking about how the prize money could be split. If there's 3million up for grabs, was thinking how about 2.5million for the winner, and 500k for the other finalist/runner up, what do you guys think?

  30. There were a bunch of black guys with a coffin at the party. At one point during the night I saw Ian Tower and Ivan Samsonov bet on who could stuff the most bantamweights into it. Not sure anyone checked what ended up inside before it was carried off eventually.. it was tied shut with what looked like a red mantle and a polish flag. I'm positive it also had an air freight sticker on it.

  38. Pulse is awesome. I’m also happy to have Chuck and the money org for when I will need to get some serious cash, launder and exchange VIP. Looks like Kimbo has done this to back-to-back orgs now. Learned long ago that that tiny amount of hype lost due to stripping a champ was not a big deal. We are good gents we are just going through another top 5 restructure and the dust will settle sooner than later.
