  1. Hi all, As a newbie I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know where I am up to in the game. Manager’s name is Stephen Watson based in Scotland and my guys fight out of London. I have created my first four fighters (all done with random height/weight/points distribution) and currently have a 3-0 record with them (all via QFC) - three of my guys have also signed to Hardcore Fighting Championship 2.0. I have £800 in the bank and my fighters are all based in the PSE Elite $100 gym in London. Just trying to get my head around training, but it appears the approach to take is training your fighters in strength and conditioning as a priority and adding some sparring to this and a little of the individual skills plus giving them a couple of sessions off a week. I also need to build the energy of one of my guys, so this is best achieved by no training until his energy levels return to about 90%. That’s all for now, looking forward to working with some of you and if I enjoy the game I’ll be purchasing VIP soon. If anyone has any hints, tips or advice, it will all be much appreciated. Thanks

  2. I want the managers in Highland to want specific fights. It keeps them connection to their fighters and their journeys.

  4. SUCKER PUNCH PREVIEW Sucker Punch Pro Series 163 Hey Sucker Punch fans!!! Super behind here because I lost track of the fact that this event is in London and therefore goes off 5 or more hours sooner than I’m used to! That said, I’m Hare Rumpler, I’m here with my buddy and colleague, Donkey “Dan” and we’ll likely (if I can talk her into it!) have Nati Batti joining us for the undercard previews here for SPPS 163! We’ve got one title on the line today…the big boy belt is on the line to see who the baddest M’Fer is currently in this biz! Shima will defend against Slam to top things off here but before that we have some other big boy matchups as this card is LOADED to the gills with beef! Wrecks and Lampi are the Co-Main Event and there are three more Heavyweight bouts before that earlier in the evening…one on the Main Card and two smack dab in the middle of the Undercard. Aside from that, the lightest we get to is Lightweight with a single fight, everything else is Welterweight and above today! Since I’m already short on time let’s grab a word from our sponsor and merchandise partner here and then jump into detailed discussion for each contest this evening! Do you find that you’re resting your fighters too often? Two, three, maybe even 4 times a week sometimes? If that’s the case, you’re probably not supplementing their training, and if you are I’m thinking you’re not doing it with Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q, which is Shadow Warrior Nutrition’s outstanding energy loss reduction supplement. It’s the best money can buy and will keep your fighter in the gym training rather than sitting days out resting! Stop on over there today, you will NOT be disappointed! Now, let's get to it! *********************** Undercard Bout #1: Light Heavyweights Ibrahim Camara v Philo Beddo Ii NatiBatti’s Take: The first bout of the night will be a light heavyweight matchup between Ibrahim Camara and Philo Beddo li. These two are pretty evenly matched across all four skills, so that should make for an interesting little fight to start off the night. Camara has significantly more experience and a better win rate, but he is missing about a quarter of his energy and a bit of morale too. Because of that, I’m going to go ahead and choose Beddo li to win this one, likely by TKO. *********************** Undercard Bout #2: Welterweights Kai Rossiter v Benny Figg NatiBatti’s Take: The next matchup will be a welterweight bout between Kai Rossiter and Benny Figg. Figg has a slight edge across all four skills here, but he has a subpar win rate at 46% opposed to Rossiter’s 67%. Not to mention, Rossiter has over twice as much fighting experience as Figg. Both of these guys have full energy, but Rossiter is missing a tiny bit of morale. Between skills and morale, I think Figg will win this one by decision. *********************** Undercard Bout #3: Heavyweights Ali Amir v Paulius Zurauskas NatiBatti’s Take: The third fight of the night will see Ali Amir and Paulius Zurauskas in a heavyweight matchup. These guys are pretty even in every skills except BJJ, where Amir has a pretty good advantage. These guys both have seven wins under their belt, but Zurauskas has 6 losses compared to Amir’s 3. Both fighters have full energy and are missing similar amount of morale, so that will not be a determining factor here. I have a feeling Amir will win this one, probably via decision. *********************** Undercard Bout #4: Heavyweights Peter Beardsley v Banana Republic NatiBatti’s Take: Fight number 4 will be another heavyweight bout, this time between Peter Beardsley and Banana Republic. These are, surprisingly, both names I recognize, although I don’t remember much about them. I feel like I remember not liking Republic for some reason, but don’t quote me on that. Republic has a tiny advantage in both muay thai and wrestling while Beardsley has a good advantage in BJJ. They are pretty much even in boxing. Both guys are missing some morale, but Republic is missing more along with some energy. He also has a lower win rate, so I’m going to go against him and choose Beardsley for this one, hopefully via TKO. *********************** Undercard Bout #5: Welterweights Ryo Hamada v Jesse Custer NatiBatti’s Take: The final fight of the undercard will be a welterweight bout between Ryo Hamada and Jesse Custer. Custer has a slight advantage in everything except BJJ, where Hamada has a pretty significant advantage with his brown belt. These two have similar win rates, although Custer’s is just a little better (71% vs 65%). Custer is missing a tiny bit of both morale and energy, but Hamada is missing slightly more morale so it evens out. This one could really go either way, so I’m going to pick Custer to win via decision. However, I would not at all be surprised is Hamada takes this win too. *********************** Donkey and I are picking up here for the Main Card folks! *********************** Main Card Bout #1: Lightweights Time for Main Card action folks and Donkey and I are back with you now to look at the details here of the fights we have left! Smith comes into this fight with the advantage in both areas of standup while Verreira will have a slight wrestling edge and a definitely Jiu Jitsu advantage. Both are prepared for the most part so we’ll be having some fun hopefully here! Smith comes into this fight fresh off a Top Contender battle that he came up short in against Yip Man lii. With the title shot off the table he’ll try to bounce back now and get back to the prior 3-0 form that got him in that position in the first place. There’s no way I can tell you that this guy is “this or that, a striker or a sub guy, technical or power, etc.” Why? Because you never know what to expect from Smith! He has subbed out one guy, KO’d plenty of others and also shown he can go the distance and get the points. He’s been in the win column much more over the second half of his career than he was earlier on in the middle, so he’s generally headed in the right direction and should always be considered a serious threat! We’re all trying to figure out what’s going on with Verreira these days though. This is a man who was considered a serious threat in the Lightweight division, one we thought would be challenging for the title on a regular basis. Instead, he won the belt from Maeda back in March, then failed to defend against Frankie Logan…and from there appears to have fallen off a cliff with losses to Mediocre ad River. Granted, both of those guys are top end fighters, with Mediocre even grabbing the belt since. River is contesting for it as well. Can he get back to the run he had prior to that where he went eight wins in a row?!? He was a KO artist early in his career but migrated to more of a technical striking style in the second half under current management. Donkey’s Pick: Smith via Unanimous Decision A lot of questions about what we’ll get tonight from both of these fighters, eh? Can Verreira dictate the fight or will Rebel Smith? That may very well be what the fight comes down to in a hard fought contest! Verreira’s confidence appears to need some help right now so I have to go with Rebel Smith tonight. *********************** Main Card Bout #2: Heavyweights My very own kid, Manivong, will give another of the Heavyweight big boys a run in the cage tonight as Kocak prepares to do battle with my boy! Happy to see that both are fully prepped, solid man! Manivong carries the Jiu Jitsu advantage while Kocak has the smallest of edges in Muay Thai and wrestling. Does that mean we’re going to see attempts at a ground game and clinch game respectively? Not necessarily at all in this one! My boy Manivong was on a tear for a bit as he developed and worked his way up through the division, eventually rising enough to be tested big time against former champ Will Wrecks. Wrecks put him in his place last month with a first round, twenty-four second KO! Ouch. But that was a test he needed as he’d gone five W’s in a row up to that point. That run consisted of a mix of KO’s and decisions, proving that Manivong can work the standup game from either angle depending upon opponent and flow of the fight. Kocak lost to Eemeli Lampi in his Sucker Punch debut last month, which is really nothing to be ashamed of as Lampi has been stellar at both Light Heavyweight previously and now Heavyweight. Kocak was with Syn prior to that but found that a tough run as he earned a 2-2-1 record there. His real claim to fame comes from his Enigma days where he was the champ for three fights in a row before he left with the belt. He’s proven his heavy hands…and feet, as this boy loves head kicks!...are a very dangerous weapon but at the same time he seems to be susceptible to taking a key shot himself when his guard is down. We know he has a “good” chin from his early fights, but clearly in the Heavyweight division that isn’t always enough. Donkey’s Pick: Manivong via TKO (Strikes) I’m going against my usual move here, where I tend to pick against Hare’s kids, and instead going to take Manivong in this one. Despite his very young age relative to Kocak his diverse toolset and ability to also land that big shot may be trouble for Kocak this evening. That said, Manivong has to watch his own chin here at Kocak is a killer when he lands his shots! *********************** Main Card Bout #3: Middleweights Here we are midway through the Main Card and our last fight before the two Main Events! And what a great one we have! Middleweights Ainsworth and Po are both fueled to the top and confidence on high, eye of the tiger for these stellar athletes folks!!! Skillwise these two are about as even as you get…until you get to Jiu Jitsu where Po has maxed out his abilities with a very scary red belt versus Ainsworth’s brown. Ainsworth has never fallen victim to a submission over his entire fairly long career. Yet I think that may be tested tonight as Po is a true submission artist! The goal for Ainsworth will be to stay on the feet as much as possible, avoid trouble if he can’t, and score points whenever possible along the way! As mentioned, Po is a submission artist and there is very little doubt in my mind that he’ll be looking to prove that Ainsworth can be submitted. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen this evening! Po is a former champ both here at Sucker Punch and previously at Combate. Unfortunately, he was unable to defend the belt successfully in either org. He hopes to change that going forward but before he can he needs to get back to winning and prevent a three fight losing streak from developing here. Donkey’s Pick: Ainsworth via Unanimous Decision Ainsworth. Via decision. Why? Because he’s good at it and although he’ll face a ground test like he’s never seen before tonight the onus is on ground guys to make the magic happen in the sport today. Carlos Castenada is a magician with guiding his men on the ground…but Ainsworth is a savvy customer as well and managed exceptionally. *********************** Co-Main Event: Heavyweight Top Contender Battle The Heavyweight title may not be on the line here…as that happens next in the Main Event…but certainly a shot to get into that fight next month is on the line as Lampi takes on former champ Will Wrecks for the right to go face the winner of Shima and Slam! As you’d expect, both are fully prepared to get into that cage and give the fans every ounce of value for their tickets tonight! Let’s go!!! Lampi is the two-time former Light Heavyweight Champ here at Sucker Punch. Unfortunately, both times ended with Lampi coming up short in the title defense. Once that second run spiraled into a three fight losing streak he and his management team decided maybe he’d fare better at Heavyweight. And boy what a call that was! Lampi has run through four straight in the Heavyweight division here including talents like Brazil, long time contender Haden, up and comer Conchobhar and even new arrival Kocak! And, unlike earlier in his career, he’s proven that not only can he dish out the usual heavy hands and put his opponents down, but he can strike with technical proficiency as well and win with the judges when needed as he did with Haden and Kocak. He looks prepared for this challenge but only his performance will tell us if he truly is! Wrecks was on top of the world as one of the best P4P fighters in the business at Heavyweight and had successfully defended his belt here at Sucker Punch twice before falling to Noah Anderson in early May. A chance to get right back to the title picture escaped him when he fell to fellow contender Ben Slam and now Slam fights for the belt tonight rather than Wrecks. You can be sure that’s driving Wrecks like a locomotive with coal burning in his gut! Wrecks took that frustration out on my own rising star, Manivong, last month in the most wicked way possible…a highlight reel, ‘KO of the Night’ earning, twenty-four second KO! Ouch. Yeah, not what I like to think about. You can bet he wants to send yet another statement via Lampi’s head tonight as he marches back towards the belt! Donkey’s Pick: Wrecks via KO (Punch) Super tough one to call as both fighters have amazing skills as strikers and both have “been there, done that” in pressure situations! This is absolutely looking like a potential ‘of the Night’ winner in one way or another! I can’t wait to see it, and for now I’m going to go with the former Heavyweight Champ. But let’s get it on guys!!!! *********************** Main Event: Heavyweight Championship Bout Shima vs. Slam II Our Main Event of the evening will give you fine folks a rematch as Ben Slam challenges Heavyweight Champion Hero Shima for the biggest belt in the business!!! The last time these two met they were both contending for a trip to the championship and Shima came out on top after working a combination of devastating boxing and clinchwork! This time, the belt is on the line and the stakes are even higher! Will we make it out of the first round this go round? Slam brushed off the loss to Shima, a Top Contender battle he didn’t capitalize on after receiving the opportunity for his first fight here at Sucker Punch, and ran off big wins over Will Wrecks and Robert MacArthur Jnr in May and June. Those were huge wins and Slam continues to show he’s a killer with those fights ending in KO and TKO respectively…both in three minutes or under! The only downside to his aggressive, power-hitting, head-hunting style? He also gets tagged now and then and most of his losses have come via KO or TKO as well. And more worrisome…more than a couple have come via doctor stoppage due to cuts. Shima is led by none other than Carlos Castenada who will have his attention split between both Shima and Po tonight…at least until Po’s fight is over. And with a fight in between, you can be sure Shima will have Carlos and his teams’ full attention for this title fight. They’re a savvy bunch of characters and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they’re planning around either a KO or taking advantage of that bleeding history of Slam’s. Shima has serious ground skills and can pull off a submission, but more often than not his team seems to enjoy beating others at their own game on the feet! Donkey’s Pick: Shima via TKO (Cuts) Those cuts have raised their ugly head more than a few times over Slam’s career and they worry me tonight against another hard striker! Slam could end this early though and if he does, well, obviously game over for Shima and squad. But I think that’s what he’s going to need and if we see championship rounds things will get ugly. Assuming he stays awake for those also. *********************** A fantastic card lined up for everybody tonight as we take Sucker Punch Pro Series back across the pond to London this evening for SPPS 163! We hope we’ll see a small army of screaming, amped up Sucker Punch MMA fans but for those who can’t make the trek we have a full production, high quality THREE HOUR LIVE PPV just for you! Tune in or we’ll see you there shortly folks! Till then, have fun and don’t forget… Keep it cheap and dirty…Sucker Punch Pro Series style!

  5. I just wanted to let you guys know that I wrote - in my opinion - my best work yet, it's about my history with title fights it got published in the tycoon times: http://www.mmatycoon.com/tycoontimes/tycoontimesstory.php?SID=2373 but I wanted to add it here too feel free to comment ---------------------------------------------- I’m writing this article to sketch my personal history with title fights because I took a short notice fight for a vacant title. By the time this article is published that title fight will be over and my title fight record will either have improved or I will stay winless in title fights. I’m hoping it won’t be the latter. 0-1 Let’s go back to my first title fight, my fighter Jason Boma was challenging then bantamweight champion Joko Diaz. Joko Diaz at that time was a Brazilian jiu jitsu beast while Boma was more known as a tough wrestler with some decent BJJ. In that fight Boma showed off his improved boxing but it was Joko Diaz’ grappling that gave him the unanimous decision. 0-2 Up next was another grappling showdown. My fighter Erik Quin was a mediocre wrestler with some decent BJJ who despite having a 3-2 record managed to get a title fight against a fellow BJJ practitioner. The title was vacant at the time and despite the difference in records – 3-2 for Erik Quin and 3-0 for Miguel Sinaloa – I was pretty confident my fighter had better wrestling so I went for a lay and pray tactic on the ground and I was hoping both their BJJ would cancel each other out. Unfortunately it didn’t go as I expected it to go. Sinaloa won by Americana submission at the end of round one. 0-3 My third title fight was a classic striker Vs Grappler match. Xavier Gracie was my best fighter at that time, a high level grappler against a striking machine called Chaly Kwidama. They had met once before and despite Gracie controlling most of the fight with his grappling it was the power of Kwidama that reigned supreme. The rematch was not at all what I expected it to be, Kwidama easily kept Gracie at bay with some kicks and knocked Gracie out with a huge punching combination. Kwidama retained his title after a mere 34 seconds in the first round. 0-4 Jason Boma Vs William McGregor was an unexpected surprise at that point in time. Before that fight happened I had a falling out with the owner of the org Boma was in. I had declined to fight a guy clearly way stronger than Boma and we had a long argument about it. When he realized I wasn’t going to cave in, he kept sending me fight offers that were a little bit more fair but with only 2 days notice. I was so pissed off about that I eventually asked to be released from my contract. Luckily I was able to get a new contract elsewhere really quick and I was offered an immediate title fight. McGregor was a Muay Thai fighter but all his wins came by submission. As I mentioned before, Boma was known as a tough wrestler with some decent BJJ. I knew I couldn’t win standing so I went with an aggressive approach to take the fight to the ground and it worked. Almost the entire fight was fought on the ground, it was a back and forth grappling clinic that ended in shocking fashion, with only 2 seconds left on the clock in the fifth and final round McGregor managed to sneak in a perfect triangle choke and Boma was forced to tap. 0-5 After a long resting period Jason Boma was granted a rematch with the champion McGregor in hopes of repeating their fight of the year candidate performance. The champion showed great improvement in his grappling and easily submitted Boma with an armbar in the middle of the first round. Boma retired after that disappointing loss. 0-6 Now we arrive at a point in time where I had a really good relationship with UFL owner John Hetfield so good in fact that all my fighters where contracted to the UFL. When I was given another chance to fight Kwidama for the title with Xavier Gracie I was a little surprised. Xavier Gracie was 1-2 in his last three fights but he was still ranked high. The real reason for the rematch was probably the lack of real contenders in the middleweight division. Chaly Kwidama dominated that division for a really long time and managed to improve his game at a really stunning pace. While Kwidama was working really hard to become a better grappler I was more interested in taking as many fights as I possibly could in a short period of time. This in retrospect could be considered a mistake but I don’t see it that way. Back then I didn’t have VIP so if I didn’t fight as often as possible I might have quit this game. The trilogy ended similar to the second fight: Kwidama dominated and knocked out Gracie after a minute in the first round. 0-7 John Hetfield then sold the UFL and I didn’t want to stay in that organization because I felt there was a bad vibe. I was right by the way, that org died shortly after I left. Xavier Gracie then got another shot at the gold after a four fight winning streak. His opponent John Kruger was just like Xavier Gracie, a high level grappler. The only difference was the striking, Kruger simply had better striking and that proved to be the difference in that fight. Kruger won by KO at the end of round 2. Gracie retired after that fight. 0-8 Duncan McAlister then faced Jack Potatos for the vacant title, an elite heavyweight collision. McAlister is the first free agent that I picked up and he immediately got a title fight. The fight was pretty much a kickboxing match. I admit going into that fight I was a little too cocky and it showed. After McAlister dominated the first round Potatos came back with a vengeance. The clinch proved a vital component in this fight, Potatos rocked McAlister in the clinch and then dropped him with an uppercut, a few seconds later the fight was over. Potatos won by TKO after four minutes in the fourth round. 0-9 Kira Miyata, a strong BJJ fighter with decent boxing was 4-0 when he received his first title shot. I had first received a fight offer that I honestly doubt I could have won and so I decided to decline the fight. After talking about it with the org owner I was asked if I wanted to face the champion instead, I accepted immediately. Kira Miyata Vs James Dean Rockefeller was a battle of undefeated prospects. James Dean Rockefeller is the perfect example of an all-round fighter. Striking, clinching, grappling, submitting, ground striking, … he can do it all and that’s what happened in that fight, he dominated wherever the fight took place and was awarded a unanimous decision. 0-10 Before Duncan McAlister had his fight of the night battle with Jack Potatos, he was first offered to fight Frankestein Mir for the title, I don’t know why the fight didn’t happen back then but it did happen a little over a month later. Even though both heavyweights are elite martial artists, McAlister is primarily a striker and Mir is primarily a grappler. So this is another classic striker Vs grappler match. McAlister was considered the better striker, but it was again the clinch game that cost him this fight. Mir softened McAlister up in the clinch then took him down and finished him with his superior grappling. Mir won by armbar submission in the third round. 0-11 James Chandler Vs Dick Hertz was a battle of grapplers. James Chandler started out as a wrestler that I first wanted to turn into a grappler with some boxing, then I changed my mind and wanted to turn him into a boxer and then I just gave up on him. I signed him to an org where I thought he’d do okay in before I’d eventually release him and he did manage to lay and pray his way to victory against first opponent. That victory was the last of his five fight winning streak and got him a title shot. The champion – Dick Hertz – was also a grappler but had better BJJ, therefore I wanted to play it safe and lay and pray my way to victory and it did work in the first round. Hertz then turned things around in the second round by taking Chandler down and succeeded in controlling Chandler on the ground. In the third round Chandler managed to take Hertz down first but Hertz was just a little more aggressive and he managed to catch Chandler in an armbar at the end of the third round. 0-12 or 1-11? As I mentioned in the beginning of this article I received a title offer on five days notice. Duncan McAlister will fight Rutger Crax for the vacant UPF Hilo heavyweight title. Both are knockout artist with some strong grappling skills. Who will be victorious and who will be the new heavyweight champion? Find out at UPF Hilo 55 on November ninth 2013.

  7. June 20th, 2021 My name is Pablo Graves, well at least it was; my dad recently won the custody battle and said that was the first thing he would change. Greatness doesn't need a name just a stage to be performed is something my dad always says. However, he told me to carry the mantle of our name and legacy was burden only for the greatest. Today's the last day I'll hear Pablo from the announcer. Alex Tozawa is my opponent today, he's 25.. a great boxer and striker. odds really are stacked against me; not even sure why my Dad set up this fight. even still..my machismo won't let back down! Although he's a better boxer, no way he's a better striker; I'll get him into the clinch and do all that I can to make him unrecognizable to his family. Watch me work! ♠♠♠♠ Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Alan Glass scores the fight 30:24 Judge Gwen Towbar scores the fight 30:24 Judge George Francis scores the fight 30:24 In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Pablo Pablito! ♠♠♠♠ I won! It was a sound performance, my father beamed with pride as he watched me eviscerate this older guy. The win was impeccable, so much so that I almost wasn't pissed off about the clerical error resulting in my nickname being used as my surname. It's cause I'm Puerto Rican huh? Which vato fucked that up? I couldn't even thank the fans after that one. But you'd would've though this was some bloodletting ceremony, as much blood was spilled today. Mom didn't come because she stated she couldn't watch me get hurt, I tell her that I can never get hurt. "soy invencible Mama, you know this" but she always says, "si tuviera un dólar por cada vez que escucho eso." This aint one of them times Mama. I can't lose. I won't lose. Because... Victory, is addicting.

  8. Hi Stephen, welcome to the game. As you've probably figured out, this game is a bit on the slower paced side - particularly as a free to play with only 4 fighter slots. My first piece of advice is to find yourself a mentor. This can be found in the "Mentor System" button to the right hand side of the star icon in your menu: There's a few really experienced heads on there. In choosing your mentor, I'd suggest reading their blurbs but also clicking on their profiles to check out whether they've got fighters you like the look of, ranks, or if they run organisations/shops if that's an area you'd be interested in for the future if you choose to go VIP. I personally haven't had an issue with anyone I can see on that list though I have not interacted with everyone. So you'll probably get put into good hands! As for training, this is something that's a bit tricky sometimes because A) Fighters can have vastly variable levels of learning when it comes to how well they train and B.) Learning slows down the older the fighter gets, and this also applies to 25 year old creations. You'll find that sometimes 18 year old creations won't take much time at all to catch up to 25 year old creations. However, some guys are genuine bricks and roll terrible base learning and will struggle to learn anything even with 1 on 1 top tier training. There are ways to test for learning speed, but ordinarily usually require VIP with some of the additional training information. The Tycoon Assistant also provides some really helpful insight to help with training. However! You can still manage just fine without VIP. Trying to focus on single skills at a time with good trainers and not overcrowded class sizes (try to keep it 3 and under in public gyms), over a week will show you if your guys have any learning capability. Pay close attention to see if your trained skill goes up, but also keep a general eye out as training different things also add a small bonus amount of points to other skills/physicals. If you're huffing and puffing and training a particular skill that isn't super high and your coaches/class sizes are pretty good, and it hasn't moved for ages, then your guy is probably a bit dumb. From memory, PSE is one of the better public gyms particularly for the price so you've chosen well there. Other general tips when it comes to training is that: 1) Upon fighter creation, a conditioning value of wonderful 12 (110 points) with some energy supplements should get you through a week's worth of training mostly fine without dropping below 90% until the Sunday rest day (when you will then go back up to 100%). 2) The above mentioned learning speed stuff DOES NOT apply to training physicals. Everybody trains physicals at the same rate assuming equal coaching/facilities/energy/age/decline. It does however tie into training your primaries (boxing, MT, etc) a bit, as successfully training your secondaries (e.g. punches) at a rapid pace does increase your primaries also. At lower levels, sometimes having good physicals might win you a fight, but generally dumb guys (even if super fit) will quickly get outdeveloped in other ways. But yes, don't train physicals to test if someone is smart or not because even the dumbest guys can still train cardio. 3) Try not to double spar on the same day. One spar session a day if you're up to that point of development (with 25 year old creations, I'd say you probably do want to spar). Also it is VERY important to ensure there are other people in your sparring session for that discipline, otherwise your guy will gain NOTHING. 4) Keep your fighter's morale up by supplying them with fresh clothes (150). Get them out of the magic whites ASAP and keep changing. This plays into a lot of different areas of the game. It will naturally fall a bit with training and morale is tied into some other hidden values (e.g. some fighters lose a lot of morale when they lose a fight, others don't). Outside of winning fights, clothes are the way to go to keep morale up. Changing clothes everyday or couple of days will easily keep them at 99.9% morale, but you could probably get away with being a bit more infrequent with clothes changes if funds are tight. Cost of clothes is irrelevant to how they help (so buy the cheapest, or the designs you like the most), and they degrade 2 values a day starting from 150. There's a lot more to talk about including sliders and so on, but definitely get a mentor and get them to help you. Also if you need funds to get you started, Alex K. (manager ID: 84400 or imcool on the forums) has a noob fund. You can post in the noob fund thread here, but PMing him is probably much quicker.

  15. If an org owner asks for my opinion about a possible opponent for one of my fighters, I’ll give it. And I do appreciate being kept in the loop by the org owner when my fighter’s on the rise. However, I actually prefer not to be involved in the match making to be honest. It seems so time consuming. And I’d like to think org owners always try their best to schedule fights that are fair and make the most sense, considering the fighter rankings.

  16. Generally speaking, i often talk with the managers and consider their input, but the fight needs to make sense in terms of rank and hype. Putting a fighter who is ranked #1 in the division against the guy who is ranked #10 does not make much sense, so if the #10 guy is asking to fight the champ, then i will not take it seriously. Hype is also a major factor, especially if you want the fight to Main event/co-main event your card because that influences the profits of the event. So booking that #10 guy against my #1 guy means i will lose money as well. Hype is less important for the undercard fights, but rank is always a factor. Obviously, i run GAMMA, so skills levels almost never plays a factor because everyone on the roster is already peaked (or close to peaked). In the smaller orgs, you also have to consider this as well. Managers at the higher level are not stupid, the fully understand all these points, so i rarely get absurd requests. I am sure it is not uncommon in the smaller orgs though.

  17. Big Wave 9 Review: One of only two events at Big Wave that has made a profit so far bringing in 2,373 dollars on the good side after payouts and awards. Also to note it was one of highest rated events. I would like to thank you all as I'm sure performances like this will only bolster our ticket sales for the next event. Now the moment you guys have been waiting for Bastien Harris dismantled Anaconda Slim in just 33 seconds picking up his first career win. And the fans loved and really set the tone for the night. It had it all and Harris must have been hitting the weight room because he knocked Slim down, cut him, rocked him, and knocked him out. Your winner by way of Knock Out Bastien Harris!!! Basically Brucelee and Denny Cortez the fans didn't like as much but it was a good action packed fight for the Minute and forty seconds it lasted. Had to be because they are smaller guys so just not as destructive shots. Though that head kick that Brucelee threw that turned out the lights of Cortez was brutal. Your winner by way of Knock Out Basically Brucelee!!! Akahoshi Hisashi and Jeebus Leebus lasted 35 seconds and was all Hisashi. You could feel this one was going to be something before it even started as they both were entering the cage the fighters couldn't stop staring at each other wanting to get this one started. Heck the weigh ins the day before the fight in this one was intense. Many more like that and we might have to start having security for our weigh ins. Anyways. It started out with Leebus as the aggressor going for a takedown and missing and a combo that missed. Then Hisashi went to the clinch and immediately breaks the clinch and hits him on the chin on the way out and he stumbles and his hurt and his chin is cut. Then a beautiful striking display from Hisashi as he fakes to the body making Leebus drop his hands to block and Hisashi goes over the top and clips him with an overhand that ends the fight. Your winner by way of Knock Out Akahoshi Hisashi!!! Nik Pappadopoulos and Randyisio Tessino was the second longest fight of the night as it made it to the second round. The fight saw Pappadopoulos doing what one would expect and not stand and bang with Tessino as he clinched and put his Judo to work with a couple nice judo style takedowns. Once there both times he just battered Tessino until the doctor had to check on the cuts and call this fight. Your winner by Technical Knock Out by way of doctor stoppage due to cuts Nik Pappadopoulos!!! Then we had a fight that actually went the distance in a someone's 0 must go fight between Liber Lambart and Jaxen Christ. It was a really good action packed fight and a close one to call but in the end the volume and shots landed for Lambart edged him the victory on the judges score cards. I for one gave it to Christ though as it wasn't a big difference and his shots were the bigger shots and did more damage. But it was a good performance by both men and can't wait for either of them to get back in our cages. Your winner by unanimous decision Liber Lambart!!! Then the Co-Main was an immediate run it back fight between Marcos De Lima and Thomas Dawson. The fight lasted one minute and thirty one seconds. It was basically body shots and combinations from Dawson that set up his uppercut. Which the replay to show his power was quickly uploaded to his YouTube page as you can actually see the moment when De Lima goes out before hitting the canvas. Your winner by way of Knock Out Thomas Dawson!!! The Main Event was a short one and got Knocked Out of the Night honors which says something when all but one fight ended in a knock out. It was between Odion Davis and Josh Agustov. It lasted 5 seconds as Davis wanted to put a stamp on his performance to fight Olly Holy for the first 185 title match. Davis circles right and lands a big head kick that drops Agustov and he follows with a couple quick strokes as the ref wastes no time dragging him off. Your winner by Knocking Out Odion Davis!!!

  18. For the first time in Tycoon History, Father and Son sit side by side in the Hall of Fame. Rocky / Winston A truly incredible spectacle and honor for the legendary Todd family, whose strategic partnership with G Wad LLC has resulted in much mutual success, money and babes, lots of babes (7s and above). What's next for this bloodline of pipe-smoking, gentleman-warriors?

  20. money/sponsor part is fine manager involved in matchmaking? never, you can have just an opinion or call out a fighter that you will like to get in the cage with your fighter, but don't expect to have a guy with 12-20 on a 5 L streak and call out the champ because your mind is delusional. only calling, not getting involved. also you can call out and ask for fights as fighter, on forum/buzz or after a fight, also by sending a pm to org owner/matchmaker.

  22. I absolutely appreciate your first point and personally look to keep fighters weekly costs at around 10% of their bankroll. I absolutely agree that signing bonus is absolutely essential for new fighters as it helps them get started. As for the second point, I love it when orgs utilise rankings as it always becomes a subject of discussion with the org owners. It is great fun, and rankings do help to make the orgs future plans clearer. Recently I had a no. 3 take on a no.2 that I was certain I would lose(and did lose) but took it because although it pitted my fighter against likely the best fighter in the division, it would have given me a run towards the title. I guess what I am trying to say in my clumsy way is that I appreciate the clarity which rankings bring.

  26. I absolutely cannot believe the result of the Joosep vs Magomaevaboff fight. Joosep probably on track to win it on the scorecards until a headkick finish by Magomaevaboff at 4:59 in the third and final round. Absolutely nuts.
