MMA USofA Show

Host: Richie Ciapelli

Special Guests: 185lb Contender & former 4Kings 205lb World Champion, Rory ‘Lionheart’ Lyons & INY 205lb contender Taco Bueno.

Ciapelli: “Ok guys next up we have young Buhler from the Assasi camp taking on the experienced Cyril Kalenth fighting out of the Jolon Williams camp. How have you got this one?”

Rory “Buhler is 3-0, great wrestler, good ground and pound, but he’s no Taco Bueno, so Kalenth will see this as an opportunity to extend his career.”

Ciapelli “Yeh Jolon has mentioned cutting him if he loses this fight, Taco you stopped Kalenth, you think Buhler is ready for him?”

Taco “Dunno, I beat Cyril because he likes the clinch and I love the clinch, and I didn’t really plan on having to take him down to beat him, Buhler is different so Cyril may be able to mess him up and box him.”

Rory “Yeh, close one, good fight.”

Ciapelli “Hawkins and Montes is a rematch at 145, these guys drew last time in one of the dullest fights in INY history.”

Taco “Why the fuck are they fighting then?”

Rory “Montes camp wanted it, I heard. If Montes can keep it standing he wins, otherwise these guys are gonna roll around for 3 rounds, with Hawkins looking for subs.”

Taco “Shit man, I think I would rather listen to Corey Smith telling the press what a great guy he is than watch this pair.”

Rory “Be fair Taco, Wellman Jnr is being a douche saying he wont fight him again.”

Taco “True, maybe I will give that bitch Thor a slap, get the press talking.”

Ciapelli “Lets move on to Coldcutts vs Mullins, two journeymen with .50 records at 6-6 and 7-7 respectively.”

Rory “Respect to these guys, Mullins has decent BJJ skills, he just cant get the breakthrough win that makes him a contender, but he has fought a lot of good guys.”

Ciapelli “Coldcutts is similar, a ground fighter with good BJJ, a brown belt in fact.”

Taco “Mullins for me, mixed in better class.”

Ciapelli “Makritsky vs Helmer looks another ground war that could go either way. Makritsky has been inconsistent, struggles with strikers it seems?”

Taco “He is safe here then because Helmer shoots, so this fight goes to ground straight away.”

Rory “Yeh Makritsky will win this one, inside 2 rounds, no worries.”

Thor Okam: Addressing a sea of reporters. "Thank you all for coming. As you all know, I recently signed the most lucrative contract in INY history. Because of this, some of my fellow "fighters" have been overcome with jealously. This has lead to some unseemly behavior. I will not be mentioning names. Most recently one hombre created a fake Facebook account pretending to be a woman in an attempt to make me fall in love with him. I saw through his deception, who would fall for something like that?, and crushed Tac....I mean that "fighter's" heart. Now some of those "fighters" are striking out at me. I refuse to be drawn into back and forth insult slinging contests. I'm a professional and I act like it. Despite being accused of talking crap, I've actually denied rumors and defended others in this org. Thank you, that is all." Thor's security team clear a path through the media and allow him to climb into his limo and speed off.

Colt 'Lone Gun' McLaren

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b2.jpg

Richie Ciapelli of MMA USofA catches up with 135lb stand out Lone Gun, and asks him about his upcoming fight:

Richie "Colt, how are your preparations going man?"

Colt "Preparations? ehh for what?"

Richie "Kikovic, Assasi's striker."

Colt "Ahh , thats his name, Im just training man, stick to the plan, that dude is a sparring partner for a good pay cheque Richie. Gotta be honest, he may be a nice guy, but I have nothing but contempt for his skills in the cage, guy isnt in my league, period. But good luck to him, wish him well, but I'm planning for my future fights right now, not for this kid."

Richie "OK Colt, thanks man."

Colt "No problem."

FN 37 Jackson vs Fujinami

Main Event

205lb Division

Jackson vs Fujinami

BJJ Black belt vs world class wrestler here with Jackson 9-4 coming off a great submission win over Cullen, and looking to avenge a previous ground and pound pasting by Fujinami nearly a year ago. Fujinami 9-3 has demolished all who have opposed him, though at 28, time is running out as he hasn’t faced any of the top guys, especially someone who can stuff a takedown and neutralize his ground game.

Not sure why these guys are doing it again so soon, because I don’t see Fujinami having any difficultly in making it 2-0 against Jackson.

Co-Main Event

185lb Division

Silva vs Roaig

Muay Thai specialist Silva 9-4 has won his last 3, and stopped the capable Diggins by head kick last time out. Silva is an aggressive all action striker that relies on his granite chin to allow him to stand and trade bombs.

Roaig 7-3 a former Troid 185lb champ and was impressive in stopping former title contender Bowman Rook last time. He showed he has serious KO power, and he will surely test the chin of Silva.

I’m giving Roaig the edge here, he has mixed in better company, but Silva will ask the serious questions, and the winner of this should feel fully confident about tackling the elite fighters in this division.

205lb Division

Oliva vs Bueno

Oliva 11-5 (10 Kos) is a Muay Thai striker who has already beaten former champion Al Fayyad, Jules Winnfield, and gone the distance in a title fight with then world champion Matt Youngblood. Oliva has world class kicks, they are arguably the best in the organization, and he will have his eye on the Youngblood Winnfield rematch later this month.

Bueno is 5-2 and has a world class ground game, but his two losses have come against world class Muay Thai strikers that have eluded his takedowns and brutal ground game. Bueno is going to have to risk it here, he cant stay on the outside and eat kicks, he must put his chin on the line, close the distance and drag Oliva into his world. He has failed twice already against Al Fayyad and Ventura, so can he get 3rd time lucky?

Oliva starts the favorite, he is far more experienced.

205lb Division

Chambers vs Frazier

Chambers 4-2 is a granite chinned boxer fighting out the Boyka camp, and Frazier 4-1 will meet him head on, as this determined boxer fighting out of the Blaze camp will relish what will essentially be a boxing match. A great match up, and one that the Casino can’t decide upon.

135lb Division

Brunson vs Sheldon

Brunson 0-1 is 25, can box, but really needs the fight to go to ground. In his debut he failed 26 times to get the fight to the ground, and I doubt he will fair much better here, unless he has worked hard on his takedowns. As he isn’t training at the moment it seems he won’t be a pro fighter for long. Sheldon 3-2 has won 2 in a row and looks a good prospect despite being dumb as fuck. He is a good boxer, has a good clinch, and has a big heart. The Jacobsson camp will keep Brunson at range and I fully expect a professional performance and another W for Team Sheldon.

Undercard

145lb Division

Urskilz vs Brown

Urskilz 1-3 has decent striking and great wrestling and as he demonstrated against Dubois he has concussive power. Brown 3-3 has a great chin and can box, but unless he can tag Urskilz early I think he will be dumped on his ass and pounded on. Urkilz via ground and pound stoppage.

170lb Division

Funk vs Hammer

Second meeting of these journeymen, Funk a BJ Brown belt has lost his last three since a 2nd round sub win over Hammer. Funk struggles with his striking, so needs this fight on the ground. Hammer has won his last two, has wonderful boxing and will look to keep it standing. Has Hammer evolved or will Funk repeat the 1st meeting?

170lb Division

Aremis vs Williams

Talented wrestler Aremis 0-1 makes his INY debut against seasoned journeyman Will Williams 6-6. Williams is rounded so Aremis’ camp will have to be wary here, or he could end up getting subbed. Williams is inconsistent and Aremis has great training and starts the favorite, but could the Edge camp spring a surprise here?

185lb Division

Arthanier vs Todd

World class boxer Arthanier 1-0 makes his INY debut against journeyman Todd 5-6. Todd is a decent boxer but he looks out of his depth here, and I feel Arthanier will have tougher nights than this in career, and Todd certainly more chance of success in other fights.

205lb Division

De Pury vs Jacobs

De Pury 4-2 must stick Jacobs on his back quickly and go for broke, he must not stand with the former K1 superstar Jacobs or this fight will end early. Jacobs has a W against Wilkens who is an accomplished wrestler, so I doubt De Pury will bring anything he can’t handle. Jacobs wins this early.

Sergio Brunson finished watching the Immortals preview special and especially liked the part where the narrator predicted him to lose, Brunson failed in his debut and it seems many were laughing at him because he is not a member of a gym. Brunson who was a member of a private gym in Helsinki before it closed has been looking for the right gym but don't think he has not been preparing for this fight and don't think that he will not attempt to take this fight to the ground and hopefully acheive his goal of getting a submission victory.

Brunson hears everything the critics, fans and all the media have to say about him and his so called lack of skill, Brunson is not one of those guys that will say he is going to use that as ammo to train harder or any of that junk because nothing can make him work hard for a big win as much as a huge loss in his debut. Sergio truly thought that he was going to win his debut and start a dominating reign instead he lost and has dealt with all the scrutinty since that loss. Opponent after opponent has been served to him and yet it seemed nobody wanted to fight him but finally after calling out Dontae he had a opponent willing to step up.

Sergio has three fights left on his contract but all speculation is that if he loses against Sheldon he may hang his gloves up and call it a short career, Brunson has not confirmed nor denied these rumors but has just said over and over that he wants to submit Sheldon and shut everyone up.

Less then three days away from his chance to do just that Sergio Brunson is calm and collected, right now he is paying no mind to what anyone has to say he is just focused.. focused on Dontae Sheldon.

Dontae: Silly, I'm not an asshole, but I have one in my butt! I'm ok with being cocky too. I love chickens! The girls are called hens and the boys are called cocks. I love cocks! They're so tasty. I can't wait for our fight tomorrow, I hope you do good!

INY 62 Wauler vs Vieri

This is it, the moment the best the 4Kings Org had to offer, debut in the INY, with two outstanding 4K champions going head to head with two of Immortals’ finest champions in Wauler and Ventura.

The undercard is stacked, with Hall of Famer Shane Wellman Junior taking on striking sensation Aldous Huxley, Chikatilo looking to bounce back against super tough Le Sheet, and former heavyweight golden boy and Immortals first ever entrant into the HOF, Derric Styles facing the streaking heavy handed bomber from the Galactus camp, Maxim Simmons.

So in the words of the great Mills Lane…Lets Get It On!

155lb World Title

Wauler vs Vieri

Wauler 10-2 6KOS fights out of the highly regarded Stonewall Jackson camp, a proverbial breeding ground for top class MMA contenders. Wauler stepped down from 170 a year back and hasn’t looked back. He’s beaten McGuire, Van Kirkland twice, and demolished Huxley in a clash of the bombers. Wauler is an old school boxer, heavy hands, granite chin, powerful in the clinch, his hard upbringing means nothing fazes this guy, and having faced VK twice he is a fearsome proposition.

Vieri 10-1 10KOS fought at 170 in the 4K, but he now faces Wauler at his natural weight of 155. He has a great chin, can box, has decent kicks, but he excels on the ground, because once he gets the fight to the mat he is brutal, a beast of a destroyer with his ground and pound.

Vieri was the man that bludgeoned Jorge Aquino, when Dead Disney was proclaiming future greatness for his now flawed charge, so Vieri is the real deal, the man.

Wauler vs Vieri, 5 rounds between two of the pound for pound best at 150K plus, the Casino is open and taking bets.

185lb World Title

Ventura vs Richards

Ventura is 9-0 4Kos and is fast evolving into the greatest Muay Thai practioner in the Immortals, a sniper of a striker, who has beaten Melton Snr twice, outclassed an albeit faded Archie Fallon and exposed a streaking Bowman Rook in a brutal display.

Ventura has to date, displayed awesome takedown defense, and has been able to tie up superior grapplers when he has been taken down.

This will be the ultimate test for Ventura’s defensive grappling skills, as Richards has made a career out of takedowns, ground and pound and world class BJJ. Richards was a superstar in the 4K where he made 5 successful defenses in his first reign, and fought some of the best 185lb and 205lb fighters in the world during his 2 years in Amsterdam.

A world class striker, a world class grappler, two great champions, two of the most high profile MMA camps in the world, this is another super fight. The casino is open, you decide…

155lb Division

Wellman Jnr vs Huxley

Wellman Jnr 11-9 shot to fame with his HOF winning submission of Corey Smith, a fight most, including Bruno Falcone, thought was a nailed down win for Smith, who had easily KO’d Wellman Jnr in an earlier meeting. Wellman has fought everyone, and boasts wins over Smith, Zavier, Saunders, Sandoval and an ancient sub win over VK. Wellman Jnr now gets another high profile fight against notorious bomber Aldous Huxley, who asked for this fight, so the Ramirez camp must see this as a fight his man can win. Huxley has lost his last 2 fights, by KO and submission, and it is Wellmans BJJ skills that are the biggest threat to Huxley. Wellman can finish guys on the ground, just ask Corey Smith, so Huxley will look to counter and land a bomb as Wellman has a suspect chin. I’m with Huxley here, Wellman is inconsistent, Huxley will have worked hard on takedown defense and I think he will keep it standing long enough to get Wellman out of there.

265lb+ Division

Le Sheet vs Chikatilo

Mouth watering clash between two of the finest super-heavies in the division. Le Sheet 7-3 6KOS is a wrestler, who looks to stick his opponents on their backs and pound the resistance out of them. His record is compiled of the best guys in the division, having faced Lebedev twice, Kar, Jones, Jenkins, and Chikatilo. In his first fight against Chikatilo he got the fight to the ground but couldn’t impose his will, and Chiko coped well, and scored with some heavy shots in the stand up, dropping and rocking Le Sheet. Le Sheet will need to ensure he takes advantage of successful takedowns, because Chiko is far the better striker.

Chikatilo 10-3 9Kos is a great striker, devastating kicks, KO power and from a successful and experienced camp. Chiko is coming off a KO loss in a title fight to Irving Brown when he was blasted by the champ in only 1min 24. Chiko won’t have to fear the striking of Le Sheet, he will look to utilize his own striking, stuff the takedowns and take Le Sheet apart, cut him up and knock him out.

Chiko will feel confident here, he dominated the first meeting, but you only have to look to Smith vs Wellman II to know anything can happen once the cage door closes.

265 Division

Styles vs Simmons

The great Derric Styles not headlining a card? That’s because he has been stopped in his last 2 fights. Styles 13-2 12Kos made his long awaited comeback after contract disputes led to inactivity and a year away from the gym, against champ Soham Roy and lasted under 3 mins. His camp later stated they regretted accepting the fight (an offer only to reset the inactivity clause) and that Styles’ skills had eroded while he was eating burgers and banging hookers. So this time we hope to see the real HOF superstar in the cage, the man that beat Kally the 1st time, who stopped Lebedev and Brute. Styles has heavy hands, complimented by his world class boxing, but if he is return to being a dominant force he must be at his best each and every fight. The Immortals heavyweight division is fast evolving into a super competitive division, and many of his previous victims have found the organization too tough and moved to the minor leagues.

That cannot be said about world class boxer Maxim Simmons who at 5-3 5Kos has had his fair share of ups and downs and battled his way up the rankings. Early career defeats to Snipes, Frazier and Devin Styles, were mixed in with wins over journeymen Kenrick Nikkil and Morty Gaggle, but it is his recent form that has impressed. Three consecutive 1st round KO wins against decent opposition, in Sakers, Worthington and Jackson have earned a high profile fight here against a living legend. Should Simmons do the unthinkable and hang a 3rd consecutive loss on Styles then Simmons will surely have finally arrived on world stage. But where would that leave Styles? A 1st round KO will be the result, the legend vs the Cinderella man, who will prevail?

Undercard

145lb Division

Calirante vs Gallagher

Calirante 3-0 uses his awesome wrestling as a base for keeping his fights standing, utilizing the clinch and firing off kicks. Gallagher 6-5 poses his first serious test as a pro, as Gallagher has fought the best in the division, having pushed Mac Jackson close and beaten Chuck Norris who is 8-1 and subsequently left the INY to find less talented opposition to pad his record. Gallagher will mix up his attack, but he will test Calirante’s takedown defense in what could be a terrific fight.

Never rule out a Melton camp fighter, even with a record of 6-5!

205lb Division

White vs Logan

Big rematch with striker White 2-2-1 hoping to keep it standing this time and edge take a decision against boxer come BJJ fighter Logan 4-3-1. I think White will get that W this time.

265lb+ Division

Rowe vs Riggs

Rowe 4-7 has won 2 of his last 3 and is dangerous on the ground. Riggs 4-3 will be happy to oblige in what should be a submission war. I give Riggs a slight edge.

135lb Division

Tutov vs Parasca

Tutov 2-2 is former amateur boxing star with some BJJ skills for ground defense, and he will need them if BJJ ground fighter Parasca gets this fight to the ground. Parasca 3-2 has lost his last 2 but against top opposition so this could go either way.

155lb Division

Ross vs Jones

Ross 3-2 has lost his last 2, has a BJJ Brown Belt, but has been outfought twice on the ground. Jones 4-6-1 prefers to use his BJJ to mixed effect, and he has a draw with Gallegos so he will hope to be able to hang with Ross on the ground. I’m thinking Ross, but you never know.

Enjoy the night, it should be incredible!

Ventura: With the biggest fight of my career on the horizon, I would like to say a few words to my opponent, are you ready Red?

Red: Ready as I will ever be Anthony.

Ventura: Richards, you are a worthy challenger to my title despite the fact that you have not been in the Immortals cage before, you are a former champion and I respect that. You are managed by one of the better managers this game has to offer, however, you have not faced Someone of my caliber before. I have defended my belt 3 times and have fought in the Immortals' cage 5 times. All but one of those fights was against a grappler, they all share 1 thing in common, I beat them all with my lethal muay thai attack. I have no doubts that you will get a take down at some point during the fight, but you will be unsuccessful in your attempts to finish the fight there and the fight will get stood up. Whenever the fight is on the feet, I will punish you, I will punish your head, your body and your legs until you want to give up. It is at that point where I will finish you.

Red: Fighting words from the champion to a silent challenger, we thank you for your time Anthony and best of luck to your title defense this Saturday.

Ventura: Just as with my last 4 fights and all my fights at 185 lbs, I will leave the cage as the Immortals's champion. Then current longest defending champion that still has their belt as far as myself and my camp knows. I see no reason why that streak will end this weekend.

Dontae: Thanks Mr. Peels. This hasn't been the first time I've been told I have a real good personality. In fact, I often get compliments about having multiple personalities! I'm too good for just one! I want to thank Sergio for playing with me on Wednesday. It was fun! Let's do it again sometime.

I can't wait to see who's next for Joe Saunders! Because of all his stand up brawls everyone seemed to think Saunders was a one dimensional fighter and the prediction was for him to be out wrestled in his last match and he would try to keep the fight standing at all costs. Joe proved all the critics wrong instead instigating his own takedowns and dominating the ground game against a superior wrestler. Eventually finishing Young with some devastating GnP for his 3rd consecutive knock out of the night performance. 155ers take notice, Joe is back at the top of the heap ready for redemption!

The focus of Brazilian press is directed specially for the Super card. A bout brings a lot of interest here when former Omnislash Gauntlet Lightweight champion Gaius Arabi drops back to 145 and makes his debut against 8-0 former INY Featherweight Nick Shields. They expect fireworks in this one and a great performance by Arabi. He's ready to show everybody his skills and he expects to do great things there. The next champion is coming to NY to bring the win home.

Tyler Richards: So, Anthony "I just try to look good for the judges" Ventura thought he had faced elite level grapplers before. Well, now he has. Though, he probably won't remember much of the encounter any time soon but maybe someone will show him tape of it later.

Your a lucky punk and you know that Janne, I was kicking your ass for 3 rounds then you got lucky when RNG gifted you a side control take down. Ya you won the fight but I deserve a dam rematch because you didn't deserve a title fight in the first place. But I am just being bitter because the engine gifted you that win. I will be bitter until I get my dam rematch. and in that rematch I will knock your ass out or die trying,
