Guest
If you don't want Wilshere or Henderson then who do you want? I assume you don't like Gerrard either being a United fan?
bjornmma1
He is a legend, but that was a pretty awfull match from him. http://laaficion.milenio.com/la_aficion_mundial/Brasil_2014-Mundial_2014-Copa_Mundial_2014-Iker_Casillas-Espana-Goliza-Holanda_MILIMA20140613_0421_3.jpg
GBK16
swear to god if Wilshere or Welbeck start I will cry....who knows. Wish we coulda brought JT along with us even if he is a racist love cheat. Wilshere is better than Henderson so I don't mind if he starts, and I don't mind if Henderson starts because he links up well with Gerrard. Personally, this is how I would go: Hart Johnson Cahill Jagielka Baines Henderson Gerrard Barkley Rooney Sterling Sturridge I only pick Johnson since we have no other natural right back. Bring on Ox late on to inject energy when everyone else is tired. Would set Henderson to man mark Pirlo to prevent him from controlling the game too much. Lallana would also be a good sub, along with Phil Jones to ensure our backline doesn't fade.
Guest
Is Ox fit enough to play at all today? If not I'd have Lallana instead of Barkley with Barkley coming off the bench if we're losing. He gave the ball away a lot in the last friendly so wouldn't want him starting if we're trying to control the game.
Guest
Anyone watching Colombia vs Greece? Good first half of the first half by Colombians.
Guest
Yeah I'm watching, got a bet on Colombia to win. Only small one but money's money Think they are definitely missing Falcao (who wouldn't?), need someone to score the chances they're creating. Wolf
Im watching it. Not the best of game tbh. Although im only watching on and off
Guest
Never gonna be a great game with Samaras leading the line though is it?
Mentor
I am watching the game now as well. Columbia clearly has more talent, but are not really showing their class. They are mostly waiting for Greece to attack and they are failing to do it effectively. I think Columbia will struggle against a proper opponent though if they use similar tactics 1
TheMould
COSTA RICA! Now england have just got to beat Italy.

GBK16
What a result! Maxi Pereira suspended for against England as well! Good day overall
Guest
What a game! Surely Suarez can't be anywhere near fit if they're not even bringing him on at 2-1 down?
TheMould
Not liking Henderson and Welbeck starting.... Think we've got potential but think Balo will net tonight
TheMould
good half so far, happy with that. Except for the shit marking on the corner. Some really good games this year.
Guest
Yeah need to close down a lot quicker than that.. Much better performance than I expected though, why can't it end now?!
TheMould
haha, we do look quiet good, especially considering how meh we were in the warm-ups in miami.

GBK16
Have to say I am impressed with Welbecks work rate, but his technical ability leaves something to be desired. Barkley on now so hopefully he can freshen up the team a bit
GBK16
Should go with Barkley on the right, Sterling left, Rooney CAM and Sturridge Striker. Inject some pace into the counter
TheMould
Our set pieces need to be better (both attack and def) we've been poor on corners, everything right the way through or to Sirigu
Guest
Especially annoying as Italy haven't looked good defending the corners either mostly the ones aimed at back post.
Guest
Disappointed with the result but not the performance tbh. If we had one of the refs in the first 2 days we could have had two penalties
GBK16
Well that, was fucking dreadful Can you imagine, if we manage to beat Uruguay, then our game against Costa Rica decides who goes through
TheMould
Piles of pressure. Was a good performance, particularly the first half. Makes it a real challenge here on out their, You all think USA still got group of death...? 2 wins and well go through
