Mad Cash 155lbs tournament winner

Insanity HOF'er

Holy fuck!!! I knew I wasn't totally out of the fight when I signed the fight deal, but never expected to do so well. I was able to keep it fairly close and finished Kawashima in the 5th round with a big overhand right. Yihaaaa!!!!!! This went even better than I could have ever imagined! Seems like I have a patent for pulling of upsets in tournaments! :D

Scott did you notice that 153 lbs? Because even if you would have won i would have made protest. ( And you would have been probably disqualied).

Just pointin out that there is guys that won their first round fights and they are underweight!

Santiago colon 185.

Martin Sain Louis 145. Both underweight.

The weight restrictions are as follows (PLEASE READ THIS)

135 = 135 pounds or above.

145 = 145 pounds or above.

155 = 155 pounds or above.

170 = 170 pounds or above.

185 = 185 pounds or above.

205 = 205 pounds or above.

265 = 230 pounds or above.

265+ = 250 pounds or above.

No fighter under these weight limits will be allowed to compete under any circumstances. Fighters may go on weight gain or weight loss in order to make weight, however the weight must be made prior to the first fight taking place, if weight is not made then the fighter shall be disqualified and the opponent will go through to the next round.

Both guys have been put on weight gain since their last fight and their profile page says that they are 145 and 185 respectively. This may have been an oversight by both managers who didn't check the the other page about weight and just used the profile page which does say that they are on weight.

If the org owners have any grievances with what has occurred, then it will be up to them to decide if any punishment is merited; not myself.

In the case of Scott, i would have suspected that punishment would have been warranted as no attempt has been made to make weight, nor could there have been any mistake made about the weight.

What weight page we going off of?

http://www.mmatycoon.com/energychecker.php?fid=183328 = 184.9#

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=183328 = 185#

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=779431 ToTT = 185#

http://www.mmatycoon.com/scoutfight.php?fida=167187&fidb=183328 = 184.86#

I have no issue if I'm disqualified, but I took him off weight gain when he showed 185 on profile page and never gave it another thought.

Why would you?

Rules says 185 and above

Colon is 185...

I have a suggestion for the Summer Olympics next year. Instead of having one representative from each org, why not make it two from each org to increase the entrants to 16 in each division.

The reason behind the one entrant per division was to make the Olympics spot more special. Asking for two entrants per org, when a lot of orgs outside of the power four struggle to send 1 per division makes me very apprehensive about raising the number of entrants per org also.

There is also no summer Olympics, this date may be pushed closer to October next year though.

Makes sense. The Olympics is an awesome idea, but it feels like it's gone by too fast already, for me at least.

It does go by rather quickly, it only lasts about 6/7 weeks in total. That is the beauty of it imo, every fight means a lot. I will perhaps see about a double elimination or something like that next year though to try and extend it a week or so, or to get a couple of wildcards in. There are a few fighters out there in orgs that aren't eligible for the Olympics who may be interested in competing.

How about putting round 1 losers in a consolation bracket for the Fool's Gold medal.

Dustin Douglas won this gold medal, not sure if it's the default Olympic medal. http://mmatycoon.com/images/custom_trophy/14076434513732.png

Yeah, but Rinky won gold as well and I don't see a trophy or medal about it on his page. I don't know what is expected from the org owners to do this season concerning medals.

Do the orgs who hosted the Olympics not have to send out custom trophies to the Olympic medallists?

I asked dinooo if a standard set of medals could be done and he said yes. I asked warpig but he didn't had the time. Dinooo doesn't seem to have contacted anyone for it. Hopefully he does soon. Would make no sense to see all different types of medals get handed out for one and the same tournament.

Dinooo said and I quote

"Someone can make a standard medal and the rest of the orgs can dish them out, I have no problems with that."

if someone done it, I didn't have a problem. I did not say that I would go and dish out more money getting medals made or actively seek them being made. As Marky said about is it on the org owners to get medals if they chose to do so; not me. I don't want to force org owners to burn vip days giving out custom trophies.

When did I say that you would? I just think it's reasonable to believe that the one in control of a tournament makes sure that there are medals, at least if he wants to have medals for his tournament, like you want, that's all.
