A big weight? You mean like the weight of those mofo six losses weighing around yer neck?

I may be the meanest, the prettiest, the baddest mofo low down around this town, but if I end up hella inconsequential at 6-6, I'll damn shit go and retire to retain some dignity and self respect!

I watched the fight. Maybe a woman weight would be better for ya Dylan man! I saw about 12 slaps, one kick to the knee like a grade school girl, and then saw da other man get bored and decide to finish!

Now shut yo face before these hands eat yer damn soul!

Hello Hardcore fans, fighters, managers, and anyone in between!

Now that we are in the final phase of the HFC/Madness merger, it's time to lay down the groundwork to our upcoming changes. I have previously mentioned that the HFC will be making a lot of changes from the ranking system to the division size and roster changes as we move the 355k fighters to more competitive orgs.

So lets jump into some details to give you all more clarity on what's to come....

HFC is now limited to 350-354k ID range. This should be self explanatory as we now field the top 350k fighters in the game and 355k+ fighters are just not able to compete with those guys right now.

Rankings:

HFC will now use the in game ranking system for fighters ranks for all but the contender and champion spot in the rankings. We will go on the in game Weight Class Ranking to base our rankings with the #1 contender and Championship being earned.

Each division will be reduced to 22 fighters. The 170 and 185 have upwards of 40 fighters in the divisions so we may make the initial cut at 32, this has not been set in stone.

Example of Rankings:

135:

1. Champ:

2. #1 Contender:

3.

4.

5.

(and so forth)

18.

19.

20.

Gatekeeper 1:

Gatekeeper 2:

The Gatekeeper:

The Gatekeeper will be a fighter who stands between a roster spot in the org (top 20) or being turned away. There are 2 gatekeepers, one who has earned a chance to fight a fighter in to top 20 for a roster spot, and another who is set to defend his spot.

A fighter from another org, or unsigned, can ask for a fight against a gatekeeper. If they defeat the gatekeeper, they will become a gatekeeper, replacing the gatekeeper they defeated. That fighter will next be given an opportunity to fight a fighter ranked 16-19 for a spot on the roster. IF the gatekeeper wins, they become the ranked 19 fighter and the fighter they defeated will become a gatekeeper 2. Gatekeeper 2 can not challenge for a roster spot within 30 days of losing his spot unless having defeated a challenger as gatekeeper.

Gatekeeper 1 will be the spot given to challengers who defeat gatekeeper 2 for a roster spot. Gatekeeper 1 can challenge for a roster spot as soon as they have earned the gatekeeper 1 position.

No fighter will be able to challenge a gatekeeper from outside of the organization more than once every 60 days.

Where will my fighter go if I lose my HFC roster spot?

HFC has funded the purchase of F&B to keep that org active and running separate from the HFC by Dillo, former owner of BFC. HFC will not be merging or having any control over F&B, this was just a financial donation made to ensure that another 350k org is up and running and will not leave fighters who cannot compete in the HFC without a job. With that being said, any fighter who loses their roster spot in the HFC will be offered the chance to join F&B. Any F&B fighter can challenge for a roster spot in HFC, this has already been agreed upon between myself and Dillo.

Champions from F&B will not be allowed to challenge for a roster spot in HFC unless they sign a loan contract and agree to continue to defend their belt in F&B. We do not want any managers trying to capture the F&B title and then flee to the HFC while holding the belt hostage. F&B should not have to take a hype hit to strip a fighter of the belt.

These changes will start taking place this month as we work on trimming down the rosters. We expect to have the rosters completely formatted and rankings implemented by the end of the summer, most likely late July or early August.

Weekly check in from Mr. Harley Blaze.

Hello my faithful fans… I think I am going to start calling my HARDCORE faithful fans the “Blazers”. I mean we blaze (I sure do) and my last name Blaze, so it makes sense right?Anyways my faithful HARDCORE Blazers (see how cool that sounds), what a f**king fight week.

Oh man, did you see my boy Ken Jiro, no disrespect to Jack Sparrow, he’s going to do great in BFC but Ken, my god, be nice...14 seconds… in your HFC debut...let us enjoy you a bit buddy. Ahh well the after party was insane much love to president J.W. Hardman for that one.

Besides that fight, a lot of my boys stepped up this weekend. Shout out to all the HFC gents who entered the ring, it takes true courage to be a warrior. HFC had back to back events in beautiful NYC this weekend. I recently broke up with my girlfriend of two weeks so these events really helped me take my mind off things.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, my guy, I cannot understand you when you speak, but I understand you when you are on top of people mawling them. Nice win this weekend, and nice job on the dance floor afterwards, your Tanok (Russian Folk Dance) was great. Man, moving forward the HFC has a lot going on. Expect some big announcements about upcoming events. Belts will be on the line soon. I know Jewel Diaz has been very vocal about getting a shot at the 145lb title, he has been saying all sorts of nasty and silly things about current champ DeShawn West. Who knows if and when that fight may take place.

Moving forward expect a jam packed June with up to two events per week. Madness integration is almost complete. Most 355+ fighters have landed safely in the BFC. Shout out Jack Sparrow, he didn't last long against HFC Heavy Weight Champ Ken Jiro, but I expect Jack to compete quickly in BFC. Next week we have two awesome events, HFC Bloodbath 2, and HFC 22 - Jack vs Carter, I will be at both of them hopefully with a new girlfriend...man I’m lonely….

Much Love Blazers...Harley OUT

I will be taking over event write ups until I can find a new writer. I'll be working on them over the next couple of days.

**EDIT**

I have not had any spare time and will not be able to complete the previews. I will, over the weekend, be able to do event reviews still. I apologize, but my professional life has just dominated my life the past few weeks. Will continue to seek a writer and will do write ups as often as I can. Reviews are easier as I can do them over the weekends.

HFC Bloodbath 2 - Post Fight Review with JW & The Blaze

Hello HARDCORE fans! It's J.W. here with my boy Harley Blaze to go over some highlights in Friday night's card. We had a great event with some beautiful finishes, so I am looking forward to jumping into the action.

In front of nearly 5000 screaming (some crying) fans at the Liberty Dome in the big apple, New York City, these gladiators put it all on the line for a shot at glory, a jump in the rankings, and their eventual quest for gold.

FotN Awards:

Fight of the Night: Kordell Harris vs Ron Burgundy

KO of the Night: Tommy Bean

Sub of the Night: Samuel Rodrigues

It's fitting that these awards went out to these fighters based on performance, and a bonus that 3 of these fighters were fighting their last fight in the HFC before moving on to BFC in the recent roster moves.

Rodrigues, a long time HFC champion was know for his deadly submissions and he showed, once again, why he is feared in the HFC for his deadly ground game. Despite coming off losing his belt to Slash, he bounced back with a beautiful submission win to bid the HFC farewell.

Tommy Bean, a newer fighter to the HFC, is also on the move to BFC. He fought Shawn Michaels, another 355k fighter who's headed to BFC with these roster moves. With a beautiful KO victory, he has given the HFC an image to remember of him as he hopes to keep training and work his way back to the HFC in the future.

In our Fight of the Night, Kordell Harris took out Ron Burgundy in an all out war. Both men are also headed for BFC and was stepping into the cage with one last chance to show the HFC fans what they'll be missing. Harris did manage to get he win in the 3rd round, but man, what a fight between these two warriors!

Samuel Rodrigues vs Scooter Bob (170)

Talk about a quick fight! 31 seconds! These two had a plan, and Bob's plan seemed to play right into Rodrigues's plan. Bob comes out quick jab and then clinched Rodrigues. Landed another punch in the clinch before Rodrigues dropped the fight into his guard. Within seconds, Rodrigues had a triangle choke locked and and Bob was tapping out furiously before passing into darkness. Great win by Rodrigues, and I'm sure BFC fighters are not looking forward to having this man in their division soon.

Blaze "Yeah man, I expected a bit more from this fight. I'm a little disappointed in Bob, but can't say that it's his fault. I mean, Samuel is one of the most one dimensional fighters in the HFC, he is not going to stand and bang with you. If you want to beat this guy, you'll need to keep the fight standing and he has shown in the past he's very capable of getting a fight to the ground from the clinch. I'm not sure anyone can stop him from getting the fight to the ground to be honest. Great job by Rodrigues, even if his opponent walked right into his strength."

Chad Repine vs Mystic Marley (135 Title)

Chad Repine came into this fight looking to defend his title against Marley, and that he did. Marley displayed a pretty rounded game mixing in some punches, high and low, kicks, even took the fight to the clinch where he worked in a knee. But he was never able to get the fight to the ground and Repine dominated the fight both at range and in the clinch. Landing over 60% of his strikes from range, and over 90% of his strikes from the clinch, it was only a matter of time before Marley came crashing down.

Blaze "Man, and did he go crashing down! That was a beast of an uppercut and it was as if Marley did a slow motion crumble to the ground. He actually stayed on his knees for a second before Repine jumped in and reigned down holy hell on him to force the ref to call it. Great finish by Chad. He's a pretty humble fighter too, but man, that after party was anything but. There were... well, lets just say it was a badass time to celebrate a badass victory!"

Tommy Bean vs Shawn Michaels (185)

Two fighters both heading for the BFC after this fight. Both standing at 7-0, both knowing the man across the cage from them was no joke. Bean was your classic stand up striker with devastating power, and Michaels was your grappler who has finished all of his fights via submissions or TKO's from GnP. We knew if it went to the ground, it would be over for Tommy. So Tommy decided to come out and display that natural KO power he has and managed to cut, rock and set up the KO with one strike, and then put him to sleep with a vicious upper cut. No doubt we'll see these two going at it again in the future over at BFC, and it could go either way again. At least if Michaels can avoid that quick KO.

Blaze "Wow, that was the KO of the night, and rightfully so. That uppercut sent Michaels to the moon, and when he landed, a trip to the dentist. No way he didn't lose teeth from that shot, mouth guard or not! I will be watching these guys over at BFC. Great fighters who, if I'm not mistaken, manager's have each learned a little from you, J.W.?

Indeed they have, but they are their own men and have done most of it on their own. Just offered advice from time to time, but they are self made men.

Kordell Harris vs Ron Burgundy (205)

Two more of our 355k fighters heading to BFC after this fight, these two put on a war. These two men battled deep into the second round, but Harris was just too much from range. Burgundy was very aggressive in the clinch, landing just over 50% of his strikes, but had no answer for Harris from range. Harris also landed only about 50% of his strikes, but he did more damage in those strikes which led to his TKO victory in the 2nd. Anything about this fight stand out to you, Blaze?

Blaze "It was a great fight, but really seemed like two average fighters trying to earn a chance to be big. We have seen these guys fight and dominate in the past, but when against each other, they were so evenly matched that it made for a very good fight. Their next opponent may look at this fight and take them for an easy win, but don't ever count these warriors out. They were Hardcore for a reason!"

Under Cards:

Winner Loser

Aatreya Mahrishi vs Joao Andrade (205) Decision (Unanimous) 5:00 Rd 3

Georges Moxley vs Radoslav Petrov (155) TKO (Strikes) 1:28 Rd 1

Whata Hitson vs Jake Demuss (265) KO (Punch) :32 Rd 1

Basko Godwin vs Anthony Rogers (205) TKO (Strikes) 2:21 Rd 1

Yago Nascimento vs Chris Travis (205) Decision (Unanimous) 5:00 Rd 3

HFC 22 - Jack vs Carter review
Coming from the Liberty Dome in New York City, this event featured some great fights, and topping off the night was a title fight between Hefty Jack and Jason Carter.
Fight of the Night Awards:
FotN: Manolito Tai Kung vs Jackson Stoner
KOtN: Sha'quan Woods
Sub ofN: Lucien Lachance
Manolito Tai Kung vs Jackson Stoner was a beat down, to way fight that went nearly the full three rounds. These guys went at it on the ground, as many expected, and though Stoner was a lot more accurate, Kung was just relentless on the ground. He opened up a cut on Stoner that forced the doctor to call an end to the fight, or this thing would have likely went to the judges.
Sha'quan Woods displayed some excellent striking as he needed under 2 minutes to score the KO victory over his opponent.
Many would judge this a TKO victory, but it was determined his opponent went to sleep before the ref could stop the fight, hence the official KO victory.
Lachance needed just under a minute to display his BJJ skills and forced his opponent to tap out after locking in a slick triangle armbar.
Main Cards:
Hefty Jack vs Jason Carter (185 Title)
In this 185 Title fight, we have Defending Hefty Jack taking on challenger Jason Carter. Many expected this fight could go either way, as Carter is viewed as a legitimate contender for the title.
Hefty Jack has been impressive, to say the least. With a 9-1 record and now defending champion, Jack has mowed down the opposition here in the HFC with calculated precision and shear will. He defeated Johnston, then Marley to set himself up in title contention. He then took the belt from champion Rob Tanner, and now has warded off a top talent in Jason Carter.
Carter has been equally impressive. Undefeated in 7 fights in Madness, and reigning champion and three time defending champion of the Madness crown, Carter was viewed as a heavy favorite by many outside of the HFC. Only those that have seen Jack win time and again against fighters as the underdog know that you can never count out Hefty Jack.
Jack got the fight to the ground in a hurry and dominated the first round. The second round started the same, and in a display of raw power and aggression, Jack just rained down a barrage of strikes that even though well defended, were just too much for Carter to withstand. The ref let them fight, to his credit, but Carter fell under the brutal assault of Jack and had to take a little nap to regain his senses.
Blaze "Wow, Jack is a beast, isn't he? I won't like, I thought Carter was going to dominate this fight, and I couldn't have been more wrong. Jack just keeps coming, and coming, and coming.. and winning.. my God man, he's like a train with no brakes! I don't think I can pick against him again, he just keeps proving me wrong."
Hefty Jack, winner via KO 3:36 of round 2. And still, reigning HFC champion of the world!
Jaxon Stoner vs Manolito Tai Kung (170) FotN
Jaxon Stoner comes into this fight riding a roller coaster of a career. Showing flashes of pure dominance at times, but never able to string together a series of victories. He did capture the F&B championship earlier in his career, but was traded to Madness a week later where he lost his title chance there. He bounced back, scored some big wins, and now in the HFC finds himself against the top talent in the world.
Introduce Tai Kung, some of that said top talent in the world. Kung is a well rounded fighter and he showed as much in this fight. He mixed in head and body strikes, from punches to kicks. A little of everything. When stoner took the fight to the ground, Kung displayed some very skilled ground game in warding off Stoner's advances. Stoner was very accurate in his GnP and landed 13 of 15 strikes, but wasn't able to finish off Tai Kung.
Tai Kung displayed more power as he cut Stoner early and throughout the fight kept adding to the damage. By the 3rd round, the doctor stepped in and called an end to the fight because Stoner was bleeding badly and was showing no signs of giving up. This is one of those fights where the doc may have done Stoner a favor in avoiding permanent damage. I guess doctors don't like scars as much as fighters and chicks do.
Tai Kung, winner by TKO (Doctor's Stoppage) 3:57 round 3. (yes, only 3 seconds from the end of the fight!)
Any thoughts on this one, Blaze? I know you've spent a lot of time with Stoner.
Blaze "Well J.W., I expected a war and a war I got. I was disappointed by the stopage in the fight, but I can't say I don't understand. But I would really have liked to see this fight play out because these two guys were beating the hell out of each other, and that's what Hardcore is all about!"
Olyrn Seran vs Jose Carvaleho (155)
This fight had a little bit of everything, didn't it? These guys stood toe to toe, neither able to take an advantage. Carvaleho took some shots, but seemed unable to land anything from range. He managed to slip the fight into the clinch once, but only landed 1 solid strike there either. When he got the fight to the ground, he got aggressive in looking for a submission, but Seran warded off all 13 attempts seemingly without effort.
Seran didn't look much better from striking range, but he did land 9 of his 17 strikes and when the fight went to the ground, he grappled well and timed his moves. This allowed him to lock in a nice armbar on the aggressive Carvaleho, forcing the tap.
Blaze "This was an interesting fight. Both fighters are better grapplers, so I'm very surprised at how long the fight stayed standing. But what is really amazing to me is the amount of submission attempts that Seran was able to fight off. I mean, 13 submissions is a lot, sort of a spamming of them, and seemingly making him predictable. Seran took advantage of this and on only his third submission attempted locked in a beauty of an armbar that forced Carvaleho to tap out before snapping something in his arm. Very impressive fight by Seran."
Seran wins via submission (armbar) 1:24 of round 3
Your Sweet Destruction vs Sha'quan Woods (170) KotN
Woods is a baaaad man, I'll say it again, Sha'quan Woods is a bad, bad man. Your Sweet Destruction is an experienced fighter with an 8-3 record coming into this fight. He's fought some tough dudes and usually puts up a fight, win or lose.
Woods has been a very good fighter until his last fight at Madness MMA against, you guessed it.. Your Sweet Destruction. This fight was a war that went the distance, and the judges granted a victory to Destruction in a split decision. Well, what better way to kick off their HFC careers then to give them a rematch to see who really wins this fight?
Woods came out and left nothing to chance with a beautiful KO in the first round. He was not about to leave this one in the hands of the judges again, impressive KO and earned him KO of the Night award.
Blaze "Wow, what a KO! Man, that thing was right on the money and there was no doubt that Destruction was asleep when he hit the floor, but Woods wasn't taking any chances and jumped down and layed the hammer down until the ref pulled him off. I don't know if it was bad blood or just a pure will to prove that he thought he won that last fight, but man, what a knock out!"
Woods wins via KO (punches) 1:46 of round 1.
Undercards:
Winner Loser
Baruto Tonissar vs Emporio Cannabino (185) TKO (strikes) 3:28 rd 3
Lucien Lachance vs Vladimir Kosmanov (170) SotN Submission (Triangle Armbar) :54 rd 1
Maxim Jahouli vs Jet Gunner (205) Decision (Unanimous)
Cayden Abner vs John Smith (185) Decision (Unanimous)
Jaycen Solo vs Rakeem Marley (205) TKO (Strikes) 2:55 rd 2

Luke Valentine vs Vince Crosby (170) TKO (Strikes) 2:34 rd 2

Nathan Dylan about his next fight:

- First I saw that Larsrenpussy that won against me will fight with a guy named Ulster that punch like a train and aim like a blind man, now I see that me is the money fight. I have a super fight and I am not in rankings! Cool, good luck with my next opponent if he wanna feel my left low kick. And after this fight that I will try me best to win I am looking for title fight at 170 or 155 or! 185. I now many of you laugh about my record, I loose the Larsenpussy fight, is ok. But you see, i have many fans and I really know how to sell my skin if you understand me. Who champ at these 3 divisions ask me, I will give him 25.000 dolllars from promos and my podcast.

HFC KO 5 - Slugs vs Wanker

Welcome HARDCORE fans! Tonight we are recapping a great night of fights that, much to the dismay of the fans, fighters, managers, and yes, even yours truly, were not lined up in the correct order! We just wrote a new page at HARDCORE, so hardcore we had a title fight as an undercard to surprise the fans! Yeah, that's it, we wanted to surprise the great HFC fans!

Right.. moving on....

Blaze "Dude, you screwed the pooch!"

Slugs vs Wanker (265+) SotN

mOoQ3KJ.png

In our (should have been) Main Event of the evening, the reigning Madness Super Heavyweight Champion of the world, Massive Wanker took on HFC defending Super Heavyweight Champion of the world, Doug Slugs.

We knew this one was going to be a brawl, and a brawl it was! Slugs did a solid job while keeping the fight standing, managing to land some nasty elbows from the clinch drawing blood from Wanker, but it seemed to only piss Wanker off.

I tell you, I sure don't want a Massive Wanker pissed off at me!

As the round went on and Slugs did his best lawnmower elbow strike impressions, Wanker took the fight to the ground and went to work, locking in an armbar to force Slugs into submission.

Wanker wins via Submission (armbar) 3:35 Round 1.

And the new, HFC Super Heavyweight Champion of the world!!! Massive Wanker!!

Blaze "Man, what a fight! I tell you, those are some big bad mofo's and they meant business. Wanker is a beast of a man, and I don't think I've ever seen a man of his size be so fluent on the ground. He's like a bigger, stronger, quicker Frank Mir. That man is going to be tough to dethrone"

Silva vs O Donnelly (155) FotN

EfIyiKg.jpg

In a welterweight matchup we all knew was going to be an exciting fight, Shay O'Donnelly took on Marco Silva in our Fight of the Night! This fight took nearly the full three rounds and these two fighters let it all out in an all out war.

O'Donnelly stayed at range and was very aggressive landing about 65% of his strikes from distance. He managed to rock Silva towards the end of round 2, but the bell stopped any further progress and the fighters reset for round 3.

Silva did a good job mixing things up standing, but wasn't nearly as efficient or aggressive as O'Donnelly was. When Silva was able to take the fight to the clinch, he went bat shit crazy and took out his aggression from only being able to successfully clinch once in his 20 attempts. Unfortunately for Silva, crazy doesn't mean accurate where he managed to land just under 20% of his strikes from the clinch while O'Donnelly was much obliged to just control the action.

However, just over a minute into the final round, (and perhaps Silva hadn't fully recovered from the ending of the previous round) O'Donnelly came out with a nasty combo that dropped Silva. Looking for the KO, O'Donnelly waved Silva back to his feet where he was able to land a monster right that dropped Silva again. This time, O'Donnelly followed up and forced the ref to jump in and stop the fight.

O'Donnelly wins via TKO (strikes) 1:24 round 3.

After the fight, Silva had some choice words from O'Donnelly.

In defeat, Marco Silva stepped up to the mic, saying 'I should have never lost to this bum'.

Blaze "Wow, very strong words! If you call someone a bum who just kicked your ass, what does that make you?"

Semenov vs Babinski (265)

NNK61wj.jpg

In one of our heavyweight fights this evening, one of our fighters from Madness appeared in his first ever HFC fight against long time HFC fighter Kirill Semenov.

Babinski came into this fight 0-3 in MMA, but do not be fooled by that record as he also holds a 3-0 record in Kickboxing. But welcome to the HFC Viktor Babinski pulling off the upset win over Kirill Semenov. Way to announce your presence here in the HFC.

Semenov came out with a plan and went to work. He was highly aggressive from range keeping the fight standing against the kickboxing Babinski.

Babinski was more selective with his shots and displayed some nice countering and scored a huge KO with a monster uppercut that put Semenov to sleep in the final seconds of the very first round.

Babinski wins via KO (Strikes) 4:56 round 1.

Semenov will bounce back and I'm sure we'll be seeing him looking for revenge down the road.

Blaze "Semonv, I told you that was some badass shit bro. I told you not to smoke it within 24 hours of the fight. That's on you bro."

Joestar vs Carrilo (265) KotN

VtYVvSG.png

In our other heavyweight fight of the night, we get another award winning performance. Two strikes throwing down, one man going down.

Joestar was assertive, but not overly aggressive. He landed nearly 50% of his strikes and mixed in both punches and kicks. A good well rounded display from range.

Carrilo was a little more selective, also landing about 50% of his strikes, but after Joestar dropped him to start the fight, maybe he was just a little more cautious of being KO'd after feeling the power that is Joestar.

Well, it didn't help much, because before the 4 minute mark of the first round, Carrilo was asleep before he hit the floor. A wild swing from Carrilo left open a beautiful counter right that put him out cold, earning Joestar KO of the Night honors.

Joestar wins via KO (Punch) 3:49 round 1

Blaze "Easily the best KO of the night, and really the only pure KO of the night in my eyes. I mean, when you score a KO within a flurry of strikes on the ground, it's a TKO to me. Just means the ref was too slow getting there, but hey, he damn sure finished, and that's what we're all about here in the HFC. Hardcore!"

There were many other fights worthy of being discussed, but due to time constraints we were only able to discuss the Of The Night awards, and fortunately, each of those fights were main card fights in the original plans for this event.

Congratulations to our new HFC Super Heavyweight Champion of the world, Massive Wanker on an excellent performance and well earned championship belt to add to your cabinet. Already a Madness MMA HoF fighter, we expect some massive things from Mr. Wanker in the future here at HFC.

Harley, as we wrap this up, any words to the fans or comments you would like to get in about the other fights?

Blaze "You f**ked up man! How could you screw up something so vital? Man, did you smoke my stash last night too? I'm telling you guys, y'all can't hang with this shit. As for the fights, I wouldn't know where to begin. There were some very great finishes up and down the card, but no quick 30 second KO finishes as we've seen a lot of in the past. Don't get me wrong, I love a good quick KO, but seeing these guys actually fight for a little while before the finish is kind of nice."

Shut up Harley! And good night Hardcore fans!

Initial top 20 rankings have been set. Mailed out per weight class instead of posting on news or forums as the list would be very, very long.

Fighters not in that top 20 should be looking at trying to move up as we start to release struggling fighters and those who have not shown the ability to compete. Once we have finished the roster mitigation, we will only have the top 22 fighters per weight class on the active roster while the others will be released and/or sent to F&B (should they choose).

HFC 23 - Silva vs Qanar

Hello Hardcore MMA fans! Tonight we saw another great round of fights between some great fighters and capped off the night with an amazing title fight which turned out to be our fight of the night!

I'm joined by our very own "Hardcore" Harley Blaze this evening to go over some of these fights.

Blaze "Hey guys, gals, and Blazers around the world! Tonight was a great event and we crowned a new champion. I can't wait to break down these fights. Good job J.W."

For?

Blaze "For not messing up the fights again."

Dude.. that wasn't, never mind.. moving on...

So I was thinking, it's going to take a little while, but since we haven't been able to get any previews done the last few weeks, and yesterdays review was cut a bit short, I want to go over a quick breakdown of every fight on the card tonight. With only 2 decision victories, we have 8 finishes we can highlight and some well earned FotN awards.

Blaze "You're just hoping fans forget that you screwed the pooch yesterday smoking all that Sheba. I told you man, even you're not that Hardcore!"

Undercards:

Bilal Vinsson vs Sean O Sullivan (145)

Our first fight of the evening got the crowd started with a great matchup between Vinsson and O Sullivan. A combined 18 fights between them, nobody expected a fight like this to be an undercard, much less the opening fight. But when at Hardcore, we do things a little off the books.

O Sullivan stood toe to toe with Vinsson throughout the first round, and nearly all of the second. While neither fighter was able to display much efficiency in the way of striking, Vinsson was able to get the fight to the ground a few times where he turned into the Tasmanian devil and unleashed a flurry of strikes on poor ole' O Sullivan.

O Sullivan wanted to keep this fight standing, but was only able to land just over 20% of his strikes. Vinsson didn't fare much better from range, but on the ground, well.. Let's just say I didn't count the strikes. The score cards show he landed 36 of 50 strikes from GnP.

Despite taking a loss to an eventual TKO under the constant barrage of strikes from Vinsson, O Sullivan showed he can take a punch, or 36, before finally giving way. Both of these fighters put it all out there, and Vinsson will walk away with his head a little higher after this late 2nd round TKO finish.

Vinsson wins via TKO (strikes) 4:59 of round 2.

Blaze "Man, these two looked like they were just feeling each other out from range. Neither looked to take it to the clinch, and though Vinsson wanted to take it to the ground, O Sullivan did a pretty good job at defending the takedown. But Vinsson was just too much, and man, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that ground and pound. That was some brutal shit man!"

Jore Maki vs Bane Darwin (265+)

Let me start off by saying this fight was runner up for KO of the Night award. Not much to talk about in this fight due to the quick finish, but I know you'll have something to say about it. One thing I can say though, is I always enjoy a quick KO finish where the fighter is put to sleep before he ever touches the mat.

Maki wins via KO (punch) :28 round 1

Blaze "Haha, you know me well bro! I just commented last night about how we didn't have any of those 30 second KO's, but we were not lacking tonight. Maki displayed some great awareness and lethal striking power and put an end to this fight in only 28 seconds."

Juan De Souza vs Roundhouse Luke (205)

Another undercard featuring two more experienced fighters as De Souza (6-7) squared off against Luke (5-6). Neither fighter stands out as an excellent fighter based on their records, as both of these guys came into this fight needing a win to get back to a .500 win percentage. With the recently released HFC rankings, these two guys need to step up their game to grab a spot in that top 20 before the roster is trimmed down to the top 20 fighters.

Luke got rocked half way through the 1st round by a nasty right hand from De Souza. The next shot sent him crashing to the mat and had the fans on their feet in anticipation for the big finish that was sure to come. But, much to the dismay of the fans, and myself, Luke was waved back to his feet as De Souza was looking for the big KO.

Some back and forth blows between these two until about 3 minutes into the 2nd round when De Souza launched a crisp counter combo that dropped Luke again. And again, De Souza stepped back and waved Luke to his feet. I guess at this point, he was pretty confident he could score that KO.

30 seconds later, De Souza launched another counter right that dropped Luke for the 3rd time, and the 3rd time was the charm as De Souza dove in and finished the fight via TKO.

De Souza wins via TKO (strikes) 3:31 of round 2.

Blaze "Well, honestly I thought this fight was done in the first. I mean, he had the perfect chance for the quick finish but got a little too cocky. I understand wanting to land that big highlight KO, but when you don't finish a fighter when you have the chance, you're only giving a chance for something bad to happen. I think I heard Souza's corner barking at him to finish the damned fight. Maybe that's why he finally jumped in and put an end to this fight at last."

Boxing Mcsparr vs Darko Milicic (170)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15785989387464.png

Hey Harley, you want to take point on this fight? I'm backing a bowl.

Blaze "Yeah man, I'd be happy to cover this one. Just pass that mofo when you're done."

Blaze "Our next fight between Mcsparr and Milicic was nothing short of spectacular. These two men have no quit in them, none at all. This fight went down to the wire and was left in the judges hands. Now you know me, I'm not a fan of leaving a fight to chance, and that's exactly what you do when you leave it to the score cards. But Mcsparr lived up to his name and made the veteran Milicic look silly out there. The man looked like a terminator out there with a speed upgrade. Mcsparr was all over the place, range, clinch, punching, kicking, throwing bows, the man was NOT about to lose this fight. I am sure he was fighting more accurately and aggressively than Milicic, but when you land 32 punches to the face of your opponent, usually the opponent looks like a bloodied and battered half rotted pumpkin before finally going to sleep. But Milicic said to thell with that, I'll sleep when I'm dead."

Well, I can't say I disagree with you, Harley. Here, take this.. So looking at the numbers, man, this was a one sided fight all the way. The judges would have a hard time messing this one up. Mcsparr landed an amazing 32/35 head strikes, 10/15 body punches, 2/3 head kicks, and was just as efficient in the clinch with 14/15 head strikes and 7/13 body strikes. He was just too accurate and too much to handle for Milicic.

Milicic seemed to want to throw tons of combinations, which I suppose can be good in a boxing match that you want to counter in, but it didn't work for him tonight. He was only able to land 2/23 combos and about 40% of his other strikes, if that. He did take the fight into the clinch twice, but was completely dominated in the clinch. I don't know why he tried to keep going back, but I guess he was just looking for any answer to stop the machine gun bee stings coming from Mcsparr. Great job by Mcsparr!

Mcsparr wins via Unanimous Decision

Herlock Von Ryan vs Dale Steyn (170)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25b18.jpg

In our final undercard of the evening, we have two solid fighters coming in to show the world who belongs where on the new rankings as Von Ryan (9-6) took on Steyn (4-5).

Steyn wasted no time getting the fight to the ground via a nice counter takedown, but Von Ryan pulled a quick sweep and jumped into mount. Expecting a quick finish, again, we were disappointed. A few minutes of wrestling on the ground and the ref stood the fight back up.

Round two was more of the same but Von Ryan took the fight to the ground this time and started trying to work in a submission. Steyn displayed some nice defense and was able to ward off his attempts and we move to round three.

Round three was much teh same, a takedown by Steyn and a submission battle back and forth until the final bell ending the fight. As expected, a grappling event that neither fighter was able to finish and we went to the judges where Von Ryan picked up the decision.

Von Ryan wins via Unanimous Decision

Blaze "Man, honestly, this fight was kind of boring to me. From the ratings, I would say the fans too. There was some very good wrestling and BJJ displayed, but you know me. I like to see the blood and teeth flying across the cage as the gladiators beat the shit out of each other. But hey, to each his own, and nobody can take this victory away from Von Ryan. Excellent job by Von Ryan tonight."

Main Cards:

Alan Ragasatria vs Ruddo Ryokale (135) (SotN)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39b23.jpg

And our first fight of the main cards, and our only submission of the night earning Ragasatria the SotN award.

Tonight seemed like a crazy night with several fights being finished or stopped within seconds of the bell. I don't know if it was a plan for the refs to have some fun or just worked out that way, but here's another example of a buzzer beater finish as this fight ended with 1 second left in the 1st round.

Ragasatria took the fight to the ground quickly and tried to lock in a quick submission victory but was warded off by some nice defense from Ryokale. Then, Ryokale went all out submission fest and quickly moved from submission to submission trying to find an opening to finish Ragasatria until the ref had seen enough and stood the fight back up.

Shortly after the 4 minute mark, Ryokale took the fight to the clinch and then quickly back to the ground where this time Ragasatria was ready to jump on a submission and locked triangle that quickly changed to a Guillotine that forced the tap with only 1 second to go in the round. Great finish by Ragasatria and a great display of BJJ from both of these warriors.

Ragasatria wins via Submission (Guillotine) 4:59 of round 1

Blaze "Are you f**king kidding me?? 1 second left? Bro, I would have rather been put to sleep than to know I tapped out with only 1 second left on the clock. Maybe he knew he was outmatched at that point and just wanted it to be over, or maybe he didn't want to go back to his corner and hear a lecture. Whatever the case, you tapped out with 1 second left in the round, and that's not what I would call Hardcore. But I am sure Ryokale will be back with a chip on his shoulder looking to finish his next fight. "

Leon vs Daniel Yonic (185)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b19.jpg

Another runner up for KO of the Night as Lentz took it to Yonic in another 30 second KO. I don't think anyone saw this quick finish coming as neither of these fighters makes a habit of losing, but boy, Lentz didn't hesitate. He walks away from this fight completely unscathed as it only took him 4 strikes to put Yonic to sleep like a baby on a cold winter night snuggled up with a blanket in front of the fire place.. Yonic yawned as he drifted off into peaceful bliss and woke up with the worst hangover of his life to the ugly face of his ring side manager waving a stink stick under his nose. He was taken to the local medical facility to be checked out, but has been released with no permanent damage.

Lentz wins via KO :33 of round 1

Blaze "That's what I like to see! Not only was it a quick KO, it was a complete domination of another great fighter! This has got to shake Yonic's confidence a little, but he's a hell of a fighter and will bounce back in his next fight. I thought this fight was KO of the night, but there were some great ones so I can't really argue with the result."

Chip Nickel vs Rooga Chooga (185)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15609725464425.jpg

This fight was one of the fights I was anticipating the most. Chooga was looking very good in the newly released rankings and Nickel was the only thing standing in his way of the #1 contender label. And stand in the way he did.

Nickel landed a big head kick early that dropped Chooga, but the fight was not over as Nickel waved the now bleeding Chooga to his feet. Some more impressive striking from Nickel over the next couple of minutes before another brutal knockdown from a big right. Again, Chooga gets back to his feet and they go at it.

Eventually, in the final minute of the opening round, Nickel landed a beautiful counter right that put Chooga down again, and again the 3rd time is the charm as this time Nickel dove in and finished the fight from mount.

Nickel wins via TKO (strikes) 4:11 of round 1

Blaze "Man, what a dominate performance by Nickel in this one! Chooga is no joke, but he was made to look a fool by Nickel in this fight. I can't wait to see how Chooga reacts to this one sided loss, but I also can't wait to see Nickel in action again. If he keeps this up, he might become my new favorite fighter to watch."

Co-Main Event:

Boris Krylov vs Antonio Nagashima (265) (KotN)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15505388128095.gif

And now we get down to the nitty gritty as we are finally at our Co-Main event of the evening. This bout coming from the heavyweight division features two of our premier fighters in Krylov and Nagashima battling it out for supremacy.

With these fighters coming into the fight with a combined record of 15-5, it was no doubt this would be a war and everyone thought this would be a finish. I don't think anyone wanted or expected this one to go the distance.

This fight is one that I love to display as hardcore, with both men being bloodied in the first round, and neither one backing down to the challenge. The cage had to be cleaned after this fight, and there were still a ton of blood stains all over the canvas for the main event. This made for a beautiful backdrop for the title fight.

These two warriors went toe to toe and never looked back. Krylov was a little more rounded in his attack but both fighters were pretty aggressive. Unfortunately for Nagashima, he was only able to land 9 of his 23 strikes and failed to connect on any other strike but those to the head.

Krylov, on the other hand, did a very good job of mixing his strikes up and keeping Nagashima off balance not knowing where the next strike would come from. But one thing was for sure, it was coming.

In the waning seconds of the 2nd round, seemingly out of nowhere, Krylov launched and landed a beautiful head kick that put Nagashima face first onto the mat. This is a KO victory if I've ever seen it, but due to the fact that the aggressive Krylov wasn't going to take any chances and was about to jump in to finish the fight, the ref, former rugby player, decided to show his best Goldberg spear and launched himself to tackle Krylov to save the hapless Nagashima.

Krylov wins via KO (head kick) 4:51 of round 2

Blaze "Man, another last second finish, but at least this one was a legit KO finish. And what about that ref! You should have him go sign up for BFC and see if he's got what it takes. That was a sick ass tackle! As for the KO, I can't argue with that beauty of a kick that won the KO otN award. There were some faster ones tonight, but that one definitely stood out to me in watching these fights."

Main Event:

Felix Silva vs Dro Qanar (205) Title Fight (FotN)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15142002757585.jpg

And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for! The fight of the night, the belt on the line, the warrior without a manager in sight, this fight had it all! Well, almost all.. I didn't see the entourage of half naked women all over Silva. Maybe that was Fury's entourage.

Either way, Silva will have his women now! The 205 belt has been vacant for some time now since the previous title holder left the org to avoid fighting against Silva. Now, we can all see why as Silva displayed some serious skill against Dro Qanar in this one. And take it from me, Qanar is no slouch!

With the Madness champ leaving for GAMMA, and no HFC champ, we needed a new champion. And with Silva next in line for the title shot, it was simply a matter of putting up the HFC #1 contender against the Madness #1 contender to determine who would be our first ever combined HFC light heavyweight champion of the world.

Another fight where blood was the theme, these two gladiators did not let the crowd down. Are you not entertained? It was a blood-fest, and with the already blood covered canvas, I can imagine it was a bit hard to get your footing out there. I've never seen so much blood between two fights in my life, this one may go down as a record for the HFC.

Silva was the more aggressive fighter, but that could be from all the blood that Qanar was spilling in this fight. Qanar displayed some solid striking defense from range, but once in the clinch things really opened up for Silva as he completely dominated the fight in the clinch.

Many questioned why the ref didn't stop the fight to let the doctor take a look at that cut, but in the HFC we love blood and I saw Harley down there talking to the doc telling him not to interfere unless it was life threatening.

These two went back and forth but with only 5 seconds to go in round 2, Silva landed an uppercut from hell putting Silva against the cage. Qanar appeared to be completely out of it, possibly unconscious while standing as Silva landed a barrage of strikes until the ref finally decided to save Qanar.

And NEW HFC Light Heavyweight Champion of the World... Felix Silva!!!

Amazing job by our new champion, we hope to see him back in action soon, but without a manager to book his fights, we're not sure how soon he'll be defending this title. So other contenders out there, stay on point and get yourself ready to challenge. Because if we don't see Silva defending that belt again this summer, you'll be finding yourself in a tournament for the new championship!

Silva wins via TKO (strikes) 4:55 of round 2

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15922658312354.jpg

Blaze "Man, what a show! Crazy part is that Qanar actually looked pretty good out there, but when you look at this fight on paper, it looks very one sided. But nobody can argue with a finish like that, and hats off to Silva for not only earning himself the belt, but also to stay ruthless and make sure the fight was won before quitting. And then, I completely agree with him being so aggravated at the ref for taking so long to step in. That could have been very dangerous for Qanar."

And that concludes our review of HFC 23. We want to thank all of our managers and fighters for helping put on this event, one that will be remembered (and felt by some) for a very long time. Never have I seen so much blood between the main and co-main events, and we loved every second of it!

As we move forward and narrow down these rosters to only the elite fighters of the 350k range, expect nothing short of spectacular fights from our warriors here in the HFC, the true home of Hardcore!

HFC KO 6

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1592096276HFC%20KO6.jpg

Event preview with J.W. Hardman and "Hardcore" Harley Blaze.

Coming from New York, Hardcore F.C. presents another exciting event for all the Hardcore MMA fans of the world. No title fights, no make or break fights, just a good old slug fest of fighters looking to jostle for position in the rankings and have a chance at earning the $5k fastest KO bonus.

Yes, the fastest fighter to KO or TKO his opponent will win an additional 5k reward. This will be a separate reward from the normal KO of the Night. Harley, what do you think about this event?

Blaze "Hey, anyone will say hell yeah to a shot at winning 5 grand. But in the HFC, all these guys will say hell yeah to a chance at KOing their opponent anyway, so it's just frosting on the cake. Shit, I want some cake now."

I agree, HFC has been blessed with some talented KO artists and these guys value glory over money for the most part. But a free months worth of training never hurt anyone, right? Moving on to our preview.

Main Event:

Mankar Camoran vs Gregory Motts (265)

In our main event of the evening, two former Madness fighters square off for the first time against each other, each in their HFC debut. We have seen a flux in talent in the HFC over the summer, and it's nearly all due to the Madness merger. I'm very eager to start watching these fighters careers and see how far they can climb up the HFC mountain of dominance.

Camoran (8-3) comes into this fight looking to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to the then Madness champ, Demir Kocak. With two title fights under his belt, both resulting in a loss, Camoran has endured and moved on and always bounced back from a loss.

He's a versatile fighter who's displayed great BJJ in his many submission victories as well as KO power in his KO victories. He is a proficient striker who's practiced in both boxing and MT, but just as well versed, if not a little better, on the ground in wrestling and being a BJJ purple belt.

Camoran holds an impressive "of the night" award display as he boasts 3 FotN, 3 SotN, and 2 KO otn awards. Very impressive and tells his opponents he's looking to finish. So I can only imagine a decision loss is just eating away at him building up to this fight, and he'll be looking to let loose of some built up aggression on Motts.

Motts (8-2) comes into this fight equally impressive with a very similar record to that of Camoran. He's a better boxer and wrestler than Camoran, and significantly better at that. Each fighter seem to be pretty even in the MT game, but Camoran's edge is in his superior BJJ training.

Motts will look to come out swinging and keeping this fight on the ground, and with his boxing skills, and high wrestling, he may just be able to avoid a takedown. If he can keep this fight standing, I think Motts will get another TKO victory here, but if this fight goes to the ground, his defense will surely be tested.

Another key note to this fight when looking at these fighters records, Motts lost a fight to Antonio Nagashima via submission, while Camoran defeated Nagashima in a decision fight a few months before that. No telling who's going to come out on top in this one, but we'll send it over to "Hardcore" Harley Blaze for his thoughts and prediction.

Blaze: "This should be a great fight to cap off the evening. If you look at the records of these two fighters, one thing stands out. They are both finishers, and both very good at it. The difference is that Camoran has shown the ability to really mix up his game and adapt well to any fighter. Motts is a lethal striker, and has very good wrestling training. If his wrestling is enough to ward off Camorans takedown attempts, I think the Boxing advantage will give him the win.

Prediction: Motts via TKO round 2

Co-Main Event:

Gunner Larsson vs Dixon Ulster (170)

Our co-main event features two fighters from last years island season, who both made their way over to HFC. Each have had a few fights under the HFC banner, and both have been impressive, to say the least.

Larsson is an accomplished grappler through and through. He boasts a 12-5 record and has won a title twice in his career to date. In the HFC, he fell short of his title shot against longtime former HFC champ Samuel Rodrigues. With 5 (T)KO, 3 Subs, and 4 decision victories under his belt, "Gunni" has long since proven he is capable of adapting and competing with anyone standing in front of him. A dangerous man on the ground, but some hidden KO power in those fists of his too.

Ulster (9-4) is another accomplished fighter who also has had a championship under his belt back on the islands when he TKO'd HFC's own Herlock Von Ryan in his early days. "Mad Dawg" is another versed fighter who can adapt his game-plan as he's also won victories via (T)KO, submission and decision. No doubt these two fighters will be trying to figure each other out going into this fight.

Ulster is the superior striker with superb boxing and respectable MT training, he's also a very good wrestler and a purple belt in BJJ. He has the skills to stay in the fight if this goes to the ground, and may even possible surprise Larsson if he's not careful.

Blaze "Larsson is a very good fighter, and very capable of winning this fight. He's got that "it" factor, some fighters have it, some don't, but he definitely does. Despite that, I don't think he's going to be able to finish off Ulster. Yes, he has an advantage in the wrestling department, so maybe he'll be able to get the fight to the ground. But I've seen Ulster, time and again, find a way to avoid being submitted or reverse things and pull out a win. With that being said.

Prediction Mad Dawg Ulster wins via TKO round 3."

Main Cards:

Bruce Vanorden vs Jean Lucroy (205)

Bruce Vanorden (6-3) is back in action with a new look after a recent management change. Bruce was doing great, mowing through the SMASH roster, but hasn't won a fight in the HFC since the merger. 6-0 before HFC, 0-3 since HFC. So with a manager change, a new training regime, it's time to see if Bruce can bounce back into the win column.

Bruce has some very solid skills, do not be fooled by this 3 fight losing streak. He's a superb boxer, just as well trained in MT, holds a purple belt in BJJ and has been wrestling since his youth. There are no holes in Vanorden's game, and he'll be out to prove it against Lucroy.

Lucroy (9-1) is not the striker Vanorden is, not even close. He's feeble at best from range, but let me tell you, this man has shown no problems in taking down his opponents. And when he gets them down, he puts them down. He's not looking to hug and tug, he wants to ground and pound and flatten faces.

His only loss came to Nenad Jovanovic in SAFO in a title fight. He's never tasted defeat before, nor since. Vanorden will definitely have his work cut out for him in this one, but if he can keep the fight standing, he should be able to pull out another KO victory. If Lucroy takes this fight to the ground, which he almost certainly will, it could be a very quick end to Vanorden's night.

Blaze "I think Bruce is a great fighter, I really do. I've seen him display some beautiful striking and ability to finish, but he's in a slump right now. And this is not the best opponent he could have right now to turn things around, but if he does get the win here, what a turn around it would be! This is a very important fight for Bruce because with the HFC rosters shrinking, these spots in the top 20 become extremely precious. I just think Lucroy is too good at what he does and finds a way to get this fight to the ground."

Prediction, Lucroy wins via TKO round 2

Jack Waller vs Florisvaldo De Oliveira (135)

Jack Waller (8-1), former HFC champ (3x defending) is fighting in his final HFC fight before moving over to BFC to compete for the belt there. For a fighter fighting older, better trained fighters his whole career, Waller has been as impressive as any fighter in HFC history. His only loss in his most recent title fight to new champ Chad Repine.

Waller displays some superb boxing and wrestling skills, but has been training in MT and BJJ as well. His striking and GnP have kept him in the win column most of his career, but De Oliveira will be looking to keep him out of it in this one.

Oliveira (4-1) is riding a 3 fight win streak, all by submission. He's a ground specialist who holds a brown belt in BJJ, and is pretty well rounded in his wrestling and striking abilities. Depending on how well he can do on the defensive side of things from the ground, he may find himself in a position to ward off and upset the former champ. But if he can't prevent that nasty GnP, Waller will look to mow right through him in his HFC finale.

Blaze "This should be a fun fight. I mean, Waller doesn't have fights that are not worth watching, but this is a really good matchup. Because I've seen nothing to tell me Waller won't continue winning like he always does, no matter who you throw in there against him. But in Oliveira, he's got the one tool that gives him a legit chance to take out Waller, Jujitsu.

If Oliveira can catch Waller's arm when he's trying to GnP, and lock in a quick submission, he could pull out this upset win that would surely catapult him in the division rankings."

Prediction, Oliveira gets a submission victory (armbar) late in round 1 and announces himself to the HFC.

Ed Ford vs Miguel Sandoval (155)

Ed Ford (3-2) is a much, MUCH better fighter than his record suggests. Ed boasts remarkable boxing, sensational MT, remarkable wrestling and even a purple belt in BJJ. This man has been in the gym for a while and training with the best, and he intends to show it in this fight against Sandoval.

Sandoval (7-4) is the much more experienced fighter of the two with nearly twice as many fights so far in his young career. He's a superb boxer and respectable MT fighter, but his bread and butter is his sensational wrestling accented by a purple belt in BJJ.

Seeking to use his GnP skills, Sandoval will be looking to get this fight to the ground quickly where he can capitalize on his advantage. He won't want to be standing with Ford for very long less he wants to chance going to sleep before he leaves the cage.

Blaze "I think you nailed that one J.W. Sandoval has to get this fight to the ground to win, plain and simple. If he does, he wins. It's that simple in my book. But if he can't get this fight to the ground, I think Ford will be walking away 4-2 and looking to take on the world."

Prediction, Sandoval gets the takedown late in the first and does some damage, but finishes it early in the 2nd round via TKO."

Undercards:

Not doing a full preview of under-cards at this time, but will let Harley take a shot at making his quick picks for these fights and highlight any notes he sees fit.

Harley Blaze

Don Piano vs Tobias Funke (265)

Blaze "Piano is the better fighter here, not by much, but all around just the better fighter. Expect both of these guys to stay standing, but look for Piano to finish this fight in the 2nd sometime for a KO victory.

Prediction, Don Piano via KO in round 2."

Jim Fox vs Sergey Telegin (265)

Blaze "Man! What a stache! I know Fox is only 5-5 and a well rounded fighter who doesn't excell at any particular style, but how can someone with that stache ever lose?? He'll be going against another fighter who is very similarly trained but seems to have an edge in wrestling. Maybe that will give him the edge, but due to that outstanding mustache I have to go with Fox for my pick."

Prediction, Jim Fox wins via decision (mustache).

Andrey Gorohov vs Malcolm King (170)

Blaze "Gorohov has shown to be a gym rat, but never found a way to apply it in the ring. He's 1-3 for a reason, despite having solid well rounded game and being a very good MT practitioner. Coming off back to back losses, I fear he loses again against King.

Malcolm King is a beast on his feet and very competent on the ground. He matches Gorohov's MT striking, but is a much better boxer and his record reflects it."

Prediction, King wins via KO in round 1.

Colton Northwood vs Crimson Foot (145)

Blaze "This fight has potential to be the fight of the night. These guys are as evenly matched on the ground as you'll ever see. Both are Brown belt BJJ and sensational wrestlers. Foot has displayed some very solid striking in the gym, so I'll be curious to see if he uses his striking to his advantage against Northwood. This will probably be a grappling match like no other, but don't be surprised if Foot mixes it up and shocks Colton. But Colton has the grappling experience that might give him the edge on the ground, so it can go either way."

Prediction, Foot wins via unanimous decision.

Nate Gracie vs Primo Volto (170)

Blaze "Well, Gracie is on a horrible skid and I don't see him lasting on this roster. I think he loses again in this one against Volto too. Volto is on the cusp and fighting for a spot in the top 20, but he's not there yet. This could set him up to have a chance of staying on the HFC roster."

Prediction, Volto wins via submission in round 1.

Thank all of you Hardcore MMA fans for tuning in to this preview. We hope you enjoy the fights next weekend and find out who will win this KO of the night purse. We are sure to have a lot of finishes, so grab a seat and lets get ready to rumble!

Samuel is better fighter then me but I have nothing to loose man. I was in army for 4 years, I have decorations, I know the drill. Me? I have no fear huritng myself with some punches. I am in the main event and all of you not because I starded this shit, I create a hype when I talk and just like a walk. After this fight I am in the BFC and I will loking to fight for the title in 155, 170, 185, you can to this? You have the guts to start a war against 3 champs? The answer is not and I do this shit.

Samuel, you are a legend mate.11-1 and still hoping for the best. When I signed the contract to fight you I was so happy, because for me is like a championship fight, you are still the champ for me dude but I am sorry to say that you must take your chin to the earth before you face me.

Have fun guys, see ya!
