HFC 14 - Tanner vs Tragedy 3

Pre-fight Analysis w/ Predictions

Hello Montreal!!! It is time… The long awaited trilogy match has been set. The fighters are in the building. HFC FANS ARE YOU READYYYYYYY!!!???!?!? The HFC 185 Middleweight Title is on the line tonight!!

The story between these two go back to December 14th, 2019 at SMASH: Tanner vs Tragedy 1. Formerly known as the SMASH FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP, the HFC would see a fight, that would end up sparking an on-going rivalry in what pits two fighters between each other for a 3rd time. A 3rd time is needed to settle the score when they’ve only tasted defeat at the hands of each other. In the first fight, Trage “Edy” Tragedy enjoyed the feeling of his hand being raised. He took care of business in the 2nd round via armbar. Riding the momentum of a 6 fight winning streak, he took out Emry Lane in the first round via knockout. This would earn him a title shot where he’d finish the fight in under an amazing 25 seconds with a wicked superman punch, what a way to become champion! Rob Tanner didn’t look back either since he first lost, as he put together 2 straight knockout victories, earning a title shot at Tragedy in what would see them match up for a 2nd time. In an unbelievable fight, Tanner would have a dominant 2nd round, with two knockdowns and would form a SEVERE cut on Tragedy. Tragedy handled the first round pretty easily, and did the same in the 3rd. Could very well be 28-28 on the judges scorecard going into round 4, could also very well be 29-28 Tragedy. In a round much different than the others, they fought at slightly slower pace. The cutman did all he could in the corner between rounds, but the blood was oozing from the cut formed in the 2nd round at a rate that judge Arvi Len said, “made me feel so nauseous I almost threw up on the scorecards”. This forced the fight to be stopped in the 4th round via TKO (cut). That brings us here now, where Rob Tanner has had two successful title defenses, and Tragedy comes in riding a 2 fight winning streak both by knockout.

Highlighted by an unbelievable rest of the card, let’s get right into the action!

City: Montreal

Arena: Hard Knocks - Montreal (3,000)

Rules: MMA

Judging Criteria: 10 Point Must

Full Fight Card:

*Main Event*: (185) Rob Tanner vs Trage Tragedy

Co-Main Event: (170) Herlock Von Ryan v Gunner Larsson

(205) Habib Putins v Rakeem Marley

(185) Simeoni Jukola v Daniel Pawlick

(170) Ryo Hamada v Rovi Flexner

(170) Sergei Volkov v Syd Sydney

(185) Tommy Bean v Rashid Rubson

(170) Colby Vovigton v Nathan Dylan

(155) Leon Hooker v Marco Silva

(145) Jon Rambo v Cranky Smith

HFC 14 Undercard:

** = Feature Prelim Bout

(145) Jon Rambo (7-6) vs Cranky Smith (5-0)

  • Are the fight fans of the HFC READY FOR SOME FIGHTS? Our undercard kicks off in the featherweight division between Jon Rambo (7-6) and Cranky Smith (5-0). Cranky Smith is coming into this fight with an undefeated record w 4 of those victories coming on the hands of his submission prowess. Jon Rambo also has a nice bottom game, but he needs to utilize his standup to win this one.

Prediction: Cranky Smith, 1RD Submission, improves to 6-0

(155) Leon Hooker (6-6) vs Marco “Conmigo” Silva(7-2)

  • Our next undercard fight is a lightweight contest between Leon Hooker (6-6) and Marco “Conmigo” Silva (7-2). Leon Hooker has lost 4 of his 6 fights via decision, so he’s definitely no easy contest. He has fantastic boxing and can catch you easily, as has shown evident by his knockouts. Silva on the other hand, has enjoyed the tune of 5 knockout victories, and will be looking to add another one to that list.

Prediction: Marco “Conmigo” Silva, RD2 KO, improves to 8-2.

(170) Colby “Chaos” Vovigton (2-4) vs Nathan “Wolfie” Dylan (4-5)

  • The welterweight division finds itself home for this matchup, as Colby “Chaos” Vovigton (2-4) squares off against Nathan “Wolfie” Dylan (4-5). Both enjoy solid wrestling, however Vovigton holds the clear advantage in that regard. Nathan Dylan has shown some solid takedown defense that can help him unload some of that superb boxing we see from him. Will it lean towards the wrestler or striker in this matchup?

Prediction: Nathan Dylan, 2RD KO, improves to 5-5.

(185) Tommy Bean (5-0) vs Rashid Rubson (3-3)

  • Next up we have a middleweight fight between Tommy Bean (5-0) and Rashid Rubson (3-3). Tommy Bean has been an absolute thunder and lightning, shut and close type of fighter in the early part of his career. He’s scored 5 straight knockouts, with the longest of them going for 1:49 into the first round. Will the step up in competition be too much for him? Look across the cage to Rashid Rubson, who comes in 3-3, albeit on a two fight losing streak. Rubson will be looking to get himself back into the win column in a big way tonight.

Prediction: Tommy Bean, RD1 KO, improves to 6-0.

** (170) Sergei Volkov (4-0) vs Syd “Canguru” Sydney (4-3)

  • Our feature prelim bout has a fantastic one in store from you. The welterweight division is host to a matchup between Sergei Volkov (4-0) and Syd “Canguru” Sydney (4-3). Sergei Volkov has demonstrated fantastic wrestling to earn him 4 brutal KO finishes from the top. Sydney is no fool to the ground either. He has the wrestling to combat the takedown attempts, and maybe enough to survive the onslaught. If he keeps it standing, he may end Sergei’s undefeated streak.

Prediction: Sergei Volkov, RD2 KO, improves to 5-0.

Main Card:

(170) Ryo Hamada (3-1) vs Rovi Flexner (5-2)

  • WELCOME TO THE KICKOFF OF THE HFC 14: TANNER VS TRAGEDY 3 MAIN CARD. It begins in the welterweight division, as Ryo Hamada (3-1) goes up against Rovi Flexner (5-2). Hamada comes into this fight with 2 submission victories and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Flexner however, has great wrestling to combat the takedown threat and way better stand up. I see it going to the fighter who can dictate where the fight will take place tonight.

Prediction: Rovi Flexner, 1RD KO, improves to 6-2

(185) Simeoni Jukola (4-0) vs Daniel “Dominator” Pawlick (4-5)

  • The second fight on this main card pins two middleweights against each other. Simeoni Jukola (4-0) has been on an absolute tear, winning 4 straight fights, 3 via knockout and one submission victory due to strikes. He’s been just outright scary to fight on the feet. Daniel “Dominator” Pawlick is going to have his work cut out for him, as the odds are truly stacked against him in this fight.

Prediction: SImeoni Jukola, 1RD KO, improves to 5-0.

(205) Habib “CHiken” Putins (6-4) vs Rakeem “Jamaican Beast” Marley (4-1)

  • Our next fight finds us in the light heavyweight division. Habib “CHiken” Putins (6-4) matches up against Rakeem “Jamaican Beast” Marley (4-1). Marley is the definite favorite to win this fight, as the two met before at “The Island” in the first round of their 205 tournament back in February. Marley won via 1st round knockout in less than 10 seconds.

Prediction: Rakeem “Jamaican Beast” Marley, 1RD KO, improves to 5-1

Co-Main Event: (170) Herlock “The Hurt” Von Ryan (9-4) vs Gunner “Gunni” Larsson (10-4)

  • Welcome everyone… to the CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!! We have a welterweight bout coming up, as Herlock “The Hurt” Von Ryan (9-4) battles against Gunner “Gunni” Larsson (10-4). Von Ryan comes into this fight on a two fight winning streak, earning Fight of the Night honors against John Bessant at HFC 4. Larsson has seen better days over the last two fights, seeing him be finished both times by submission. He has shown susceptibility to get caught, albeit having a nice submission attack himself. Herlock Von Ryan definitely has the better stand up but will be outclassed if the fight hits the floor. He does have a shot at cinching up a submission with his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but Larsson has phenomenal control.

Prediction: Gunner Larson, RD2 TKO, improves to 11-4.

Main Event: (185) Rob Tanner (8-1) v Trage “Edy” Tragedy (10-1)

*HFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP*

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! WELCOME TO THE HFC 14 MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!! The explosives out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada have yet to be detonated, as fireworks are sure to blow the roof off this building here tonight. Hard Knocks - Montreal is host to witness a phenomenal matchup for the HFC 185 Middleweight Championship! As usual, we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the two fighters headlining the main event of the evening.

Striking: You don’t want to blink for this matchup, as both fighters hold a combined record of 18-2. Of those 18 victories, 17 of them have been knockouts. 17 knockouts combined between the two! It’s hard to say who has the clear advantage here. Rob Tanner’s (8-1) boxing is extremely underrated, as he has a vicious uppercut who’s taken many victims. His Thai boxing and kicks are fantastic, but we usually see him utilize his hands. Trage Tragedy (10-1) comes in with fantastic boxing and vicious head kicks. He’s taken 9 casualties via KO, with one submission. It’ll be a fantastic matchup to see, however if Tragedy can utilize his kicks and slow down the footwork and rhythm of Tanner, it can be a long night.

ADVANTAGE: Very, very slight advantage to Tragedy, simply due to more utilization of kicks.

Grappling: When it comes to the grappling, you definitely see a larger discrepancy between the two combat athletes. Trage Tragedy comes in with a great wrestling foundation, and holds a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu. He used his wrestling to great effect against Tanner in both of their fights, and have shown who holds the advantage. It’ll be the same going into this fight.

ADVANTAGE: Tragedy

Experience: Both fighters have nearly identical records. While Trage Tragedy holds two more wins, he’s only had 6 total different opponents. He’s also had 5 fights in the QFC. Rob Tanner has fought 7 different opponents in 2 less fights, and has also held and defended the title for longer.

ADVANTAGE: Tanner

Prediction: Rob Tanner, 2RD KO, improves to 9-1. Retains HFC Middleweight Championship.

Congratulations to Jose Carvaleho on becoming the new HFC Lightweight Champion!

Proving the bookies, and many spectators wrong, Carvaleho took out defending champion Barbosa to earn the belt. Another island fighter moving to the mainlands and winning belts, what did they put in the water over there?

Who's going to step up and take the belt back from the islander? This division can go anywhere now!

Gotta say I'm highly impressed by this. Always had a profound respect for org owners who do a really great job of running their org in a good way...but doing the write-ups as well puts an owner on a whole new level of Hardcore! Fantastic.

Thank you kindly.

I have recently employed help, and I believe he is better at it than I am. I wish you luck with Sucker Punch, I love the theme man.

HARDCORE Fighting Championship, state of the Bantamweight crown.

In recent weeks, there was a void in the HFC Bantamweight division. Something was missing... Fights were going on, rankings were shuffling, but as if drawn on a canvas and hanging on the wall in still form, the top of the rankings did not change.

Champion: Cody Garbrandt

This is what the division sees every day, this is what the fans see every day, and usually that is a sign of respect and domination. And up until recently, that's exactly what it was for Mr. Garbrandt. With a stellar 12-0 record, Cody dominated the SMASH roster and showed that HFC was to be no different. No fighter able to stand in his way, and then the unthinkable happens. The champ disappeared.

Nobody knows what happened to Cody, he's not made any phone calls or sent any messages to let the world know what he is doing, where he is, or if he is still alive. In a world where the only thing that is certain right now is that everything is crazy, a word from the champ would be a nice reassurance.

"The show must go on." This is a phrase echoed down through time, and rightly so. One person can not stop the world from moving, so you better keep up. The HFC has some strong contenders scrapping it out at the top of the division for the #1 contender spot, but they have no champion to contend with. The HFC has been unable to contact either Cody, or his manager for comment and has unfortunately been forced to strip Cody Garbrandt of his championship status.

In the wake of this unfortunate event, a new breath of life breaks through the HFC 135 roster. Light has found it's way through the cracks of the dark and clouded skies that was once the 135 championship ladder, and now a shot at glory is at hand for two great young fighters.

Chad Repine was Cody's opponent in his last title defense. Chad fought well and earned that title shot, and he's fought well since. He's never backed down from his quest for glory, and now he has it back in his sights again. The HFC has announced Chad will be one of the fighters to fight for the interim title left vacant by Garbrandt.

Jack Waller has been quietly putting together quite the resume. With an unblemished 7-0 record, Waller has walked through every fighter the HFC has put in front of him, including the contenders previously holding his position in the rankings. Sitting as the #1 contender and waiting on the chance to fight Garbrandt for the title, Jack finds himself now with that chance against Cody on April 26, 2020.

Out of the ashes of a near dead division due to inactivity at the top, the HFC now looks over a young and hungry group of fighters ready to take on the world. It starts with the title fight between Waller and Repine, but the future is once again wide open for this talented group of fighters in the HARDCORE Fighting Championship!

HFC 14 - Tanner vs Tragedy III - Review

Hello HARDCORE MMA fans! Welcome to another post fight review from the HFC editorial staff.

Tanner vs Tragedy (Title Fight)

Tonight's Main event is a title fight between two long time rivals in the 185 division. Sitting at a 1-1 record against each other, this title fight was pitted to be another great one with either fight showing the capability to win.

Unfortunately for Tragedy, Rob Tanner was able to turn his lights off with a nasty jab for the KO victory at less than 2 minutes into the first round. The Champ is still here and has only one question... Who's next?

Congratulations to Rob Tanner on a great title defense of the middleweight belt!

Von Ryan vs Hooker

In our co-main event of the evening, two veterans of the welterweight division squared off to see who was the better fighter. These two crafty veterans spent the fight on the ground as neither was able to do anything standing up. Larsson, spending all of his time dodging blows by Von Ryan and shooting in for takedowns, managed to get the fight to the ground frequently. Once there, he was by far the more aggressive fighter although Von Ryan showed some nice transitioning. Both fighters spammed submission attempts, but neither able to lock anything in. 11 combined attempts between the two of them, it was ultimately Larsson posting up some nice ground and pound that gave him the not even close unanimous decision on the score card.

Gunner Larson wins by unanimous decision.

Hooker vs Silva

In a lightweight clash between two veteran fighters, Hooker and Silva squared off in what was sure to be a slug fest. Each fighter known as an excellent striker, Hooker focused in boxing as Silva focused in MT.

The fight started off with a bang as Hooker cracked Silva with a quick jab that cut Silva's nose. Shortly after, Silva took it to the clinch where the fight stayed until Hooker was able to pull Silva to guard and get a quick guillotine locked in for the quick first round victory.

After the fight, a pissed off Silva said "I should have never lost to this bum."

Makes you wonder if there may be a rematch down the road?

Putins vs Marley

In a light heavyweight fight, and our last high profile fight of the night, Habib Putins faced off against Rakeem Marley. We asked Marley before the fight if he had been smoking during training, and he would not comment, but did crack a wry smile. I guess I'll leave that one open for interpretation.

Okay, brace yourselves folks! This fight had a LOT going on and will take a while to digest, so grab a beer and continue on...

After a failed takedown attempt by Putins, Marley drops Putins with a combo that cut him and put him in la la land. A few seconds later, after Marley allowed Putins to his feet like a gentleman, he cracks Putins with a monster hook that put him to sleep. The ref jumped in to check on the fighter who showed no signs of life for a moment. Marley flexed, grinned at the crowd, and soaked it all in as the crowd went wild..

Ok, so I had to fluff it up a little bit.. otherwise it was.. And Marley cracks him with a hook and that's it! 23 second KO for Marley!

Other fight results:

Jukola (w) vs Pawlik - 1st round KO - 12 seconds (great shot!)

Hamada (w) vs Flexner - 1st round submission - 2:58

Volkov (w) vs Sydney - 1st round TKO - 4:59 (buzzer beater!)

Bean (w) vs Rubson - 1st round TKO - 41 seconds

Dylan (w) vs Vovigton - 2nd round TKO - 2:55

Smith (w) vs Rambo - 1st round submission - 3:17

HFC 15:Samuel Rodrigues vs Lukas Chomsli (WELTERWEIGHT BOUT {170 LBS})
HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS IS MATTY FERNANDEZ BRINGING TO YOU ONE OF THE MOST INTRIGUING AND MUCH AWAITED FIGHTS IN THE (HFC WELTERWEIGHT) HISTORY,BECAUSE WE GOT TWO MONSTER AND TOP CONTENDERS WHO ARE GOING TO BE BATTLING IT OUT IN THE MAIN EVENT TO DETERMINE WHO IS THE BEST (WELTERWEIGHT) IN HFC, AND IF YOU THINK THAT IS ALL THEN THINK AGAIN BECAUSE WE HAVE ALSO GOT A POSSIBLE SHOOT OUT FOR THE #1 CONTENDER TO THE (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT) TITLE TOO.AND THEN AS ALWAYS WE HAVE ALSO GOT SOME SURPRISES UP THE BAG TOO SO WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY LET'S SEE WHAT WE HAVE IN STORE FOR US.
(UNDERCARD BOUTS)
1.Zackmarius Tacktheritrix vs Khalabeeb Ferguson (FEATHERWEIGHT BOUT {145 LBS})
// As a young wrestler with decent potential Zackmarius is another future
prospect in this organization like most.He is a former (BANTAMWEIGHT)
turned (FEATHERWEIGHT) who carries a professional record of (2 wins 0
losses {1 in each division}).He won in his (HFC) very convincingly and will
therefore be looking to win this fight to continue his winning streak and
possibly break into the top #10 in the (145 LBS) rankings.
Now his opponent Khalabeeb is the more experienced fighter of the two
and as he has already fought for the title before, money will definately be
on him to come out victorious in this fight. But unfortunately his career
has taken the wrong path recently and with him coming into this fight on
the back of 2 losses people are not so sure about him anymore. But no doubt
he still can be one of the best in the division considering his age,and
therefore with a professional record of (3 wins 3 losses) he will be
looking to desperately win this fight to get his career back on track and
also hopefully break into the top 10 in the process.
~ PREDICTION: KHALABEEB FERGUSON WINS VIA KO (ROUND 2)
2. David Dilbrandt vs Jackie Vergys (BANTAMWEIGHT BOUT {135 LBS})
// A former (FEATHERWEIGHT) at (WICKED ONE FIGHT) turned (BANTAMWEIGHT)
David Dilbrandt is a MAUAY THAI artist who has a professional record of (2
wins 1 loss). He made his HFC debut back in HFC:9 where he unfortunately
lost but after a long gap and a lot of training with his coaches he is back
to finally kickstart his career in HFC and prove to everyone that he can
win when it matters and therefore he will be looking to win this fight to
prove to try and break into the top 10 of the (BANTAMWEIGHT) rankings.
Now Jackie Vergys is a rather senior member of the organization than most
others considering his age,but he is also one of the most experienced in
the organization and with a record of (4 wins and 2 losses) we can see why
but he has not been having the best of times lately as he is currently on a
2 fight losing streak and therefore he will be looking to desperately win
this fight to finally be third time lucky and break into the #10
(BANTAMWEIGHT)rankings.
~ PREDICTION: JACKIE VERGYS WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)
3.Jason Mendoza vs Haki Hugbergsson (SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT {265+ LBS})
// Jason Mendoza is one of the most lethal strikers in the (SUPER-
HEAVYWEIGHT) division here in HFC and with an exceptional MUAY THAI
striking we can see why.He is undefeated in his professional career so
far and is riding high on a 4 fight win streak and hence carries a
professional record of (4 wins 0 losses). He is currently ranked #4 in the
(SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION) And will be looking to win this fight to
keep up his winning streak and further cement his spot in the top #5 of
the (265+ LBS) rankings.
Now Hugbergsson is a former (ISLAND FIGHT LEAGUE {265+}) champion and
is one of the best submission artist in the SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT division. He
has a professional record of (4 wins 2 losses) but after losing the (ISLAND FIGHT LEAGUE {SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT}) title in a rematch his career
has taken a downward curve, nonetheless he looks like he has come back
refreshed after a break and will therefore be looking to win this fight
in his HFC debut to break into the top #5 in the division.
~ PREDICTION: JASON MENDOZA WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)
4. Dennis Rader vs Gilbervan Soares (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT {265 LBS})
// Formerly the #8 ranked (SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT) of HFC Dennis Rader has since
dropped down a division to (HEAVYWEIGHT) after his hugely disappointing
loss to Jason Mendoza in his last fight.Like Jason Mendoza, Dennis is
also a very lethal MUAY THAI striker and has a professional record of (4
wins[3 KO] and 1 loss) to prove it.He was in SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT and still
is one of the most feared fighters in the organization at HEAVYWEIGHT and
will therefore be desperate to win this fight to put that loss behind him
and break into the top #10 (HEAVYWEIGHT) rankings in HFC.
Now unlike his opponent Gilbervan Soares is one of the best wrestlers
in the whole division whose game is pretty much based on grappling. He has
a professional record of (3 wins and 1 loss) and is riding on a 3 fight
win streak and therefore he will be looking to win this fight to improve
in his current ranking of #8 in the rankings and try and inch closer to
that top #5 so in turn he could get closer to his dream of being a
champion.
~ PREDICTION: DENNIS RADER WINS VIA KO (ROUND 1)
5. Badiss Kassib vs Sonny Gilchrist (FEATHERWEIGHT BOUT {145 LBS})
// Badiss Kassib is one of the unknown talents in the division really, He
sometimes just doesn't turn up for fights the other times he could pull out
a victory from out of nowhere. His fighting style is unpredictable too as he
has little of everything but has no speciality. He carries a professional
record of (4 wins and 5 losses) and will be looking to win this fight to not
only finally kickstart his career and make a huge jump in the rankings but
most importantly prove all of his doubters wrong again.
A former (FEATHERWEIGHT) title challenger in HFC Sonny Gilchrist is one
of the most dangerous submission artist in the whole organization. He has a
professional record of (6 wins 2 losses) but lost in a disappointing manner
in the rematch against Preston Patterson which almost made him switch
division, but he stayed put at FEATHERWEIGHT and with a ranking of #4 he will
be looking to desperately win this fight to climb up the rankings again so
that he could have another shot at that elusive title once again.
~ PREDICTION: SONNY GILCHRIST WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1)
(MAIN CARD BOUTS)
SO THE TIME FOR FUN AND GAMES IS FINALLY OVER AND IT'S TIME FOR THE BIG BOYS TO HIT THE CAGE AND SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU LET'S GET STRAIGHT INTO THE MAIN CARD.
6. Luke Vader vs Armand Hammer (WELTERWEIGHT BOUT {170 LBS})
// Known for his first round finishes Luke Vader is one of the most technically
gifted fighters in HFC (WELTERWEIGHT) division. He is a MUAY THAI
specialist who has a professional record of (7 wins and 4 losses) and
is currently riding high on a 3 fight win streak. Not only that but he has won
6 out of his last 7 fights and is currently ranked #10 in the HFC (WELTERWEIGHT) rankings
and therefore he will be looking to win this fight to extend his winning streak and
move steadily up the rankings in hope for a future title shot at some point
in his career at HFC.
Now just like his opponent Armand Hammer is also a specialist in technical
boxing which is waiting for the right moment and then pouncing on the opportunity
when it presents itself. He is a MUAY THAI specialist who carries a professional
record of (6 wins and 2 losses) and is currently ranked #7 in the HFC
(WELTERWEIGHT) rankings. He is known for his one punch KO and therefore will
be looking to win this fight to solidify his position in the top #10 rankings in HFC.
and also in the process potentially earn himself a shot at a top #5 fighter in the future.

~ PREDICTION: LUKE VADER WINS VIA KO (ROUND 1)

7. Death Minister vs Samart Payakaroon (WELTERWEIGHT BOUT {170 LBS})

// A standup technician, Death Minister is another MUAY THAI specialist in HFC

who has a knack of finishing most of his fights in the first round itself,so the onlookers

can expect to see a short fight which could probably finish in the first round itself. He has a

professional record of (4 wins 2 losses) and is currently on a 3 fight win streak, this is by far the biggest fight of his career and therefore he will be looking to win this

upcoming fight to keep up his steady progress up the rankings and probably even shoot straight up in the top #5 in the WELTERWEIGHT rankings as he is fighting a top #5 ranked fighter

and therefore winning this fight could mean him replacing his opponent in the rankings.

Now Samart Payakaroon is probably the judges's favourite fighter because he just

simply wins every fight involving him that goes into decision from the judges.

He like most is also a standup fighter but is more calculated in his attacking approach

and has a rock solid defence to add to his armory too.He carries a undefeated professional record

of (6 wins and 0 losses) and will look to win this fight to continue his winning streak and solidify his

#4 spot in the WELTERWEIGHT rankings and look forward to a title eliminator fight in the near

future.

~ PREDICTION: SAMART PAYAKAROON WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

8. Vernon Wells vs Sveti IvanRilski (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT {185 LBS})

// A former (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT) champion at (S.A.FIGHTING ORGANIZATION) Vernon Wells

is a man with whom you can never a boring fight because he always has that one highlight reel

of a move that will have everyone in awe, but for successfully hitting that move he is always very

patient and he only hits it when he knows that it will end the fight. He has a professional record of

(5 wins and 2 losses) and has (4 KO OF THE NIGHT) bonuses to add to it.He recently dropped down from

his original wight class of LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT as he feels that he needed a fresh start and therefore

he will be making his MIDDLEWEIGHT as well as his HFC debut in this fight and therefore he will be

looking to win this fight to start this new part of his career in a good way and also break into

the top #10 MIDDLEWEIGHT rankings replacing his opponent.

Now unlike his opponent Sveti IvanRilski is a former HFC MIDDLEWEIGHT champion and was once

considered one of the best in the world, but since losing the title his career has taken a massive dip

in form which is pretty evident now as he is currently on a 2 fight losing streak and is in desperate need

of some confidence. He has a professional record of (5 wins 3 losses) and is in deep desperation

mode in search of a win to possibly save his career at HFC so he will be looking to go all out for

a victory in this fight to prove to all his doubters that he has still got what it takes to win big

fights in pressure situations.

(CO-MAIN EVENT)

So after all the waiting it is finally time for the co-main event of the evening and it a treat ladies and gentlemen

and i am not lying when i say that it is going to be fireworks because in this fight two people will

battle for their pride,One, for retaining his #1 contender spot and the other to take away what he thinks is

rightfully his that is the #1 contender spot so let's jump straight into it.

9. Dillon Van Barle vs Martin Alexander (LIGH-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT {205 LBS})

// Dillion Van Barle is one of the most lethal strikers in the history of HFC. He is a BOXER

and a MUAY THAI specialist who carries a undefeated professional record of (4 wins 0 losses)

and is currently one of the most feared fighters in among the HFC LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT division

because he has a tendency to just knock people out cold with one strike or punch which is what makes

him a very scary proposition for others. He is currently ranked #8 in the HFC (205 LBS) division but

he has his opportunity that he has been craving for that is to be the no #1 contender for the title

and therefore he will be going all out for a win in this fight to accomplish his dream of finally challenging for

a title in the near future.

Now formerly a HFC MIDDLEWEIGHT champion Martin Alexander took a massive gamble in his

his career after moving up a weight class to LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT, but the move unfortunately did not

pay off as he suffered a disappointing defeat in the fight, but as a result of having a champions heart he

has vowed to all of his supporters and most importantly himself that he will make become one of the

greatest LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHTS in HFC history and therefore with a professional record of (6 wins 2 losses)

he has come back to put the records straight and start off his onslaught towards the LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT

title and therefore he will hope to win this fight to protect his #1 contender spot and also shut the mouths of

all his haters and doubters once and for all.

~ PREDICTION: DILLON VAN BARLE WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)

(MAIN EVENT)

And so just like that we have have finally arrived to the fight, the fight that you have been waiting for live from the sold out

Hard Knock-Montreal its time for the main event of the evening.

10. Samuel Rodrigues(CHAMPION) vs Lukas Chomsli (WELTERWEIGHT BOUT {170 LBS}) (NON-TITLE)

// The current WELTERWEIGHT king and already one of HFC all time greats Samuel Rodrigues is arguably

the greatest SUBMISSION artist in the history of HFC. He has an undefeated professional record of

(9 wins 0 losses) with all but one coming by submission. He has been sometimes told that he cannot beat the

very best when it matters, therefore he is desperate to win this fight against a former champion at a different

organization to prove his doubters wrong once and for all and further solidify his status as one of the greatest fighters

HFC has ever seen.

Now challenging the WELTERWEIGHT champion on the ground is task that many has tried to accomplish yet

ended up failing but if there was ever a guy who can go head to head in a submission battle with Samuel Rodrigues

it's Lukas Chomsli. He is the current reigning defending (FLESH AND BLOOD ESPECTACLES) WELTERWEIGHT champion who has a professional record of (9 wins 3 losses 1 draw) with all but 1 win coming by SUBMISSION. He has an outstanding

ground game and therefore he will be looking to win the fight to show everyone that he is indeed the most deserving

to get a title shot up next.

Also, congratulations to Samart Payakaroon for taking the victory in the welter weight tournament finale to place himself in title contention. In the longest tournament in HFC history, Payakaroon held out and fought his way to the top. Proud to see you bloom in the HFC man, keep it up!

Team Django hanging out having beers after the fights.

Underdog Armand Hammer, fighting to keep his spot on the team, shows large with a :17 second TKO. Eight beers in he's heard to mumble, "No respect man, no respect...".

Vernon Wells showing his old multi-faceted form delivers the team "KO of the Night". Wells sits quietly nursing the only beer he's having tonight...contemplative.
