jsdaugh
ENIGMA 1 (945306) MAIN CARD MAIN EVENT-SPECIAL ATTRACTION 3X3 MIN RD 170 LBS "The Kansas City Law Dog" Bob Suf (285834) VS. Marvin " Il Coltello" Vettori (298184) Bob Suf (25-17) will take on Marvin Vettori (21-9-1) in this feature special fight for ENIGMA 1. Suf is a 39 year old former 3 time champion from Strikeforce Union who holds 25 KO's victories in his career and has world class boxing skills with a battle tested chin. He retains a strong wrestling background, but would rather kick your ass on his feet using a variety of attacks either from his kicks to his dirty boxing in the clinch. He recently disposed of Royler Gracie (361243) by a head kick KO. Although he is 39, he still is a dangerous fighter who is given an opportunity to fight Vettori. Vettori is 37 and has experience as a kickboxer fighting to a 7-2 record. Vettori is no stranger to tough opponents as he recently finished the TC Millionar Dollar Tournament and won 1 million dollars, contemplating retirement his management team decided to go for just one more and help out ENIGMA's first ever event. Vettori isn't looking for redemption, he is looking for his 5th win in a row, and if successful a retirement after party. Suf will not make it easy, as he is looking to derail Vettori in spectacular fashion to headline the card. CO-MAIN EVENT 5X3 MIN RDS 155 LBS "Officer" Jason Stackhouse (336769) vs. Renat Dadasov (343005) Jason Stackhouse (15-7-1) a veteran of many promotions returns to action to face off against Renat Dadasov (10-3) Former 155 lbs Champion from FARTMMA. Stackhouse has been a title challenger 3 different times, but always fell short. He is a very strong fighter who in his 3 title fights has lost 2 decisions, and one majority draw. He has bounced around from DSC, Budokai, Rise, Demolition, Jag, and recently FARTMMA. Stackhouse offers a adrenaline fighting style and can take punishment as well as give it. He is currently ranked 578 P4P at 155 and looks to showcase his abilities against a former champion in Dadasov. Renat is on a 2 fight skid, but has champion caliber abilities and has a great gas tank as well. He is smaller than Stackhouse and will try to utilize the inside game or dirty boxing as Stackhouse will look to keep his range and stay on his feet. This is a great fight for ENIGMA. Roger Andermatt (341362) vs. Chad Strdoza (343597) Main Card 3x3 MIN RDS 145 Lbs Andermatt ( 9-9-1) is a 1 time 145 lbs champ from FARTMMA who will take on Strdoza (6-11). Andermatt has 7 KO's out of his 9 wins, but has had issues with going the distance losing most of his fights there and on the ground with a few submission specialists. He will want to use his wrestling and stay off the ground to use his fists and he will also need to be more aggressive to make sure that if it does go to a decision he has a better chance of getting the judges nod. Strdoza finished off his FARTMMA career with 2 submission victories collecting his last as sub of the night. He has excellent boxing skills, but it seems his chin isn't as excellent losing by KO 5 times. He is on a trend, use his grappling skills if he loses the edge on the striking and with a brown belt look to get a finish. This is a tricky fight, with both guys facing their weaknesses in each other. Main Card 3x3 MIN RDS 145 LBS Trejean Dugall (341336) vs. Aaron Picogram (347756) Dugall (12-4) has a gas tank that could beat marathon runners, but with his good boxing and wrestling skills he has carved up a good record. He started off his career with 8 straight victories, but then he changed managers. He went 2-2 in Panda Fights, but stopped a 2 fight skid with a spectacular superman punch KO over black belt fighter Felipe "Foo Fighter" Feltre (262077). Dugall is 27 and looking to put himself in a position to showcase his skills and prove he is worth another shot. Picogram is 25 and only a 1 fight veteran, a loss by a spinning backfist to Jock Strap (335230). He is looking to shake off that loss with a better performance vs. Dugall. He has strong boxing and wrestling skills but hasn't done much training in BJJ lately and will look to avoid any submission matches. He will need to use his boxing and either be super aggressive or super accurate and fight to win by a decision. Main Card 3x3 MIN RDS 265+ Open ID Heavy Division Johan "Platinum" Joestar (351161) vs. Lars "Big Arms" Bullock (347351) Joestar (3-3) is a 24 yr old fighter who hasn't been very active and looks to pick up his career in 2021. He has lots of potential with excellent boxing skills, good wrestling, and a granite chin but he has yet to put together any consistency so far. He last competed in CEC taking out Jose Canseco by TKO. Bullock (7-10) is a veteran of FARTMMA, WPFC, and Underground. The 31 yr old has solid boxing and a purple belt, but has yet to be consistent in his career as well. He will look to build off his recent victory in FARTMMA where he KO'd Sam Tripolini inside the 1st Rd. Expect this fight to give a big upside to the winner moving forward to the open weight ID heavy title contention at ENIGMA. UNDERCARD Non Test Fights FEATURE PROSPECT FIGHT Dante England (370433) VS. Sonni "Madman" Sycko (370239) 370K 18 YR OLDS 3X3 MIN RDS 205 LBS England has respectable Muay Thai and Wrestling skills, he will be fighting for the first time and will be looking to start off his career at ENIGMA with a victory, and hopefully a fight performance bonus. He will want to avoid a grappling game unless he has some serious ground n pound then going to the ground could prove dangerous for his opponent. Sycko the "Madman" out of Montreal holds wonderful boxing, but not much elsewhere. He could have some abilities elsewhere that are yet to be seen, but its safe to say he believes his stand up striking will win the day, let us witness the madman and what he will bring. jsdaugh
ENIGMA 2 (945307) MAIN EVENT 5X3 MIN RDS 155 LBS Charlie Chaplin (331473) VS "The Spirit Detective" Yusuke Urameshi (324085) The main event for ENIGMA 2 is a lightweight match up that should be an entertaining fight. Chaplin (11-3) recently coming off a TKO victory over veteran Von "The Professional" Magnaron (287324) in CEC, looks to extend his winning column where he has won 6 of his last 7 fights where almost all have been by TKO stoppage or by KO. He has 9 victories in this fashion out of his 11 wins as a professional. Chaplin is a former MMAHelsinki Champion and would like to use his boxing skills to take out Urameshi. Chaplin managed by Lucky Lefty (64800), is looking to make a statement here in his first fight of 2021. Yusuke Urameshi (25-10-1) was a former champion at SMASH and would have won a title with PANDA but lost a closely contested match with current PANDA champion Aramis Knox (344352). Urameshi is also a great boxer who can attack head and body and mix with unsuspecting combinations at opportune times. Urameshi has 16 decision victories of his 25 wins, has been able to use his footwork and striking defense well without going too aggressive looking for the kill shot. A very active fighter who looks to wear down his opponent, I would expect both fighters to duel it out and stay off the ground in this one. C0-MAIN EVENT 3X3 MIN RDS 265+ LBS Norman "Pitbull" Pearson (314068) VS Cole "King" Kong (351108) One of the top signees for the heavyweight open-weight division, a journeyman with more to prove is looking to start with winning a title in ENIGMA. Norman Pearson (19-16) is an Olympic wrestler with world class boxing abilities, wants to knock people out and hurt them. He has 17 KO's to his credit, and although has it tough when the fight goes the distance, he has had plenty of experience going deep into fights. ENIGMA's round structure should favor his style as there are only 3 mins to each round instead of 5. He is a shorter heavyweight, but reminds many people of the famed PRIDE FC fighter Igor Vovchanchyn, who is smaller than Pearson. Pearson has his experience, age, and fists at his disposal and looks to prove he is a champion. Opponent Cole Kong is 7 years younger, and a lot taller, while these are physical advantages he does not have the level of experience or training that Pearson has, but he is up to the test and with nothing to lose he will use his youth to overcome. Kong (7-4) also has a boxing background, but likes to play dirty and with 4 wins in his past 5 fights will not hesitate to use his size to overcome his opponent and smash them with ground n pound game. All 7 wins for Kong have come by way of TKO/KO and if he can weather the storm of the Pitbull Pearson, he could start 2021 with getting closer to that ENIGMA belt. MAIN CARD 3X3 MIN RDS 145 LBS "Irish" Ryan Keenan (330429) VS Shane O Malley (337786) Keenan (8-2-2) is a former KT Champion from Eight Limbs that has had a successful crossover into MMA. Keenan recently had a back to back series with Tempe Gorge (327567) in CEC where using 3 min rounds he fought Gorge to a draw, before winning the by decision the second time. Irish Keenan is tough to hurt and has never lost by TKO/KO in his career. He is a Kickboxer with more of a Thai fighting style, but can easily move in and out of the clinch and fight with a more western style using his jabs and kicks. If any KT fighter has a weakness it would be on the ground where he will never want to be. O'Malley (5-4) likes to strike and he will usually fight wherever his opponent does, but he will use this against them and get them into a brawl where he can then use his other strong skills of punishing them on the ground. He isn't much of a submission guy, but don't let that fool you, because he has a brown belt level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and you never know where he might try to go for a kimura or two. A very interesting match up that fans are itching to see. Other interesting matches 3x3 MIN RDS 265+ LBS "Bodacious" Galtero El Toro (330508) VS "The Butcher" Connor Mac Burns (347089) Two more open-weight heavies locking horns and wanting to challenge for a title at ENIGMA. 3x3 MIN RDS 170 LBS Bon Adrien De Moncey (329566) VS Joe Smo (331823) Two veterans wanting some action, hoping a spectacular win here will get them an offer at another org. Who is watching??? Top 370K ID Fight to watch 3X3 MIN RDS 145 LBS Baki "The Grappler" Hanma (370101) VS Brandon "The Master Gardner" Shamrock (370032) Two of ENIGMA'S early signees will get a crack at each other at 145 lbs. Hanma (0-0) will be making his debut but will no doubt want to fight on the ground hence the nickname "The Grappler". He is proficient in wrestling and has a blue belt obviously on the road to becoming a black Belt one day. Shamrock (1-0) is a counter fighter with some wrestling pedigree, naturally heavier than his opponent he could easily fight at lightweight. Shamrock wants to be active and land strikes, he wasn't as successful being accurate in his last fight so hopefully he has brushed up on a few skills in the past couple of weeks. Chaplin managed by Lucky Lefty (64800), is looking to make a statement here in his second fight of 2021. Chaplin is P4P ranked at 458. Jason Stackhouse (16-7-1) a veteran of many promotions returns to action to face after a decision victory over Renat Dadasov (343005) at ENIGMA 1. He is currently ranked 396 P4P at 155 and looks to win back to back in 2021. C0-MAIN EVENT 3X3 MIN RDS 145 LBS Roger Andermatt (341362) VS "Irish" Ryan Keenan (330429) Andermatt ( 10-9-1) is a one time 145 lbs champ from FARTMMA who took out Chad Strdoza (6-11) at ENIGMA with a TKO at the end of the last round. Andermatt has 8 KO's out of his 10 wins, but has had issues with going the distance losing most of his fights there and on the ground with a few submission specialists. He will want to use his wrestling and stay off the ground to use his fists and he will also need to be more aggressive to make sure that if it does go to a decision he has a better chance of getting the judges nod. If he can keep his feet he will look to mix up his striking with a well timed head kick attempt, that can make all the difference in the world. Keenan (8-2-3) is a former KT Champion from Eight Limbs and really likes to attack with kicks to set up his angles, but recently he hasn't been able to put away his opponents by finishing fights with draws. He will need to become more aggressive than in the past or perhaps he will continue with leaning on judges calls. His last fight at ENIGMA 2 saw one of those draws with Shane O Malley (337786). Fighting in 3X3 min rounds he will need to take more chances, and it could surprise him if he does. MAIN CARD 3X3 MIN RDS 265+ LBS Norman "Pitbull" Pearson (314068) VS "Bodacious" Galtero El Toro (330508) Norman Pearson (20-16) is an Olympic wrestler with world class boxing abilities, wants to knock people out and hurt them. He has 17 KO's to his credit, and although has it tough when the fight goes the distance, he has had plenty of experience going deep into fight like his victory over Cole "King" Kong (351108) at ENIGMA 2 where Pearson's experience made him master of his opponent landing almost at will and even securing a takedown when his opponent got careless. Pearson wants to get to that title shot at ENIGMA'S OPEN HEAVY DIVISION, but he will have his hands full. Galtero El Toro (16-6) took out slugger Connor Mac Burns (347089) at ENIGMA 2 by decision as he laid waste to him on the ground. El Toro had trouble blocking and getting away from the strikes which he was vulnerable, but he would catch Mac Burns being overly aggressive and boom there goes the takedown. The elite wrestler with a black belt in bjj knows what he wants to do. Although he has this as a focal point, he has excellent boxing skills as well so watch out for the set up. Main Card 3x3 MIN RDS 265+ LBS Miguel Cotto (271337) VS Johan "Platinum" Joestar (351161) Miguel Cotto (26-16) is a 42 year old veteran and six time KT Champion. Cotto slightly smaller than his opponent has great cardio which has sustained his long career and has a powerful kicks with a precision striking technique. Cotto was on a 4 fight win streak in mma where he lost his last fight to heavyweight Monte Zuma (266512) at MMA ATTACK. Johan Joestar (4-3) is a 24 yr old fighter that picked up his 1st win of 2021 at ENIGMA 1 where he TKO'd Lars "Big Arms" Bullock (347351) in just 36 seconds. He has lots of potential with excellent boxing skills, good wrestling, and a granite chin but he has yet to put together any consistency so far. If he can out fight the more experienced veteran it would put him in his first ever win streak which propels him closer to a title in ENIGMA. Top 370K ID Fight to watch 3X3 MIN RDS 185 LBS DeShaun Holton Jr (370436) VS Fekkus "The Shadow" Lasombra (370907) Holton Jr. (1-0) an excellent boxer with KO power comes to ENIGMA ready to throw down. His first fight went to a decision against 25 year old brown belt grappling specialist Dagestani Handcuffs (369528) at QFC. For some reason Handcuffs decided he wanted to stay on his feet in the fight with no attempted takedowns, nevertheless Holton Jr. picked his opponent with stinging shots to the head and body, but was cautious enough to not get entangled where his opponent could drag him to the floor. His timing needed some work, as I'm sure his training coaches have been working on. Fekkus "The Shadow" Lasombra (1-0) also is an excellent boxer who is heavy handed, and boy did he show that at ENIGMA 1 dispatching Harald Thor "Thor" Hafnfjord (370237) by TKO strikes to cause a referee stoppage. He connected on all 7 of his strikes and put his opponent back on a plane looking for answers. Lasombra will look to go 2-0 in ENIGMA and establish a solid foothold on future fights where a belt rests ready for the champion. Expect this fight to be very exciting with lots of action! jsdaugh
ENIGMA 4 (946085) MAIN EVENT 5X3 MIN RDS 155 LBS "The Spirit Detective" Yusuke Urameshi (324085) VS Renat Dadasov (343005) The main event for ENIGMA 4 puts Urameshi (25-11-1) in his second fight under the ENIGMA banner against Dadasov (10-4) who is also fighting for his second time. Both fighters came out on the losing end in their debuts for the org at ENIGMA 1 with decision losses and will look to turn things around with their opportunity to headline the card. Urameshi is looking to regain his form that propelled him to a champion in SMASH back in last May and June where he was on fire. He has since fighting to draws and decisions. He needs to gain his confidence back with a domination here at ENIGMA 4. Dadasov was a champion in FARTMMA and he was 10-1 until now he has suffered 3 straight losses. Dadasov's manager has recently been seen in and out of his camp and training with different fighters so we will see what Dadasov's training for this fight will reveal. A win here in the main event would be a start for either. C0-MAIN EVENT 3X3 MIN RDS 145 LBS Trejean Dugall (341336) VS Gareth Keenan Jr "Investigates" (348881) Dugall (13-4) returns to ENIGMA after his performance at ENIGMA 1 dispatching Aaron Picogram (347756) by an armbar submission. He tested the free agent market, but was glad to join back to excite the fans at ENIGMA. Dugall is on a 2 fight win streak and both of his 2 wins have been great fights, with the previously mentioned armbar victory and a superman KO punch. Dugall really likes to fight and he will bring it in a variety of ways. Managed by Hassan Jassan (6477), Dugall's wins have come by 6 KO's, 4 sub's, and 3 decisions, of his 4 losses they have been KO's. Newly signed Keenan Jr. (6-4) from SFL brings his exciting style where 5 of his 6 wins were by KO. Keenan Jr. has a granite chin and excellent Muay Thai along with that strong wrestling base. He is not afraid to let those legs fly and being on the ground doesn't seem to suit him as he has lost 2 fights by submission. Expect Dugall to mix it up and look to take him down to minimize Keenan Jr's effective stand up and put him where he is least comfortable. This should be a great fight, where a fan favorite meets the new blood. MAIN CARD 3X3 MIN RDS 145 LBS Shane O Malley (337786) VS Chad Strdoza (343597) O'Malley (5-4-1) fought Ryan Keenan (330429) to a draw at ENIGMA 2, and is looking to put more action to win the next fight against Strdoza. O'Malley has a great gas tank and has dangerous knees, he will look to pressure his opponent into the clinch and let those hands and knees go. He has some great KO wins, but also will fall by the same sword. O'Malley hasn't had much success in orgs of late, where most of his wins have come on the local quick fight promotions. His draw with Keenan was the only one that didn't end in a loss and he will look to turn that around here at ENIGMA 4. Strdoza (6-12) returns after his TKO loss to Roger Andermatt (341362) at ENIGMA 1. Strdoza has excellent boxing and grappling skills as his 6 wins are split between KO's and Subs. He can take the fight standing or on the ground, but O'Malley may go the dirty boxing avenue. A win here will give great confidence to the victor. Main Card 3x3 MIN RDS 265+ LBS Cole "King" Kong (351108) VS "The Butcher" Connor Mac Burns (347089) Cole Kong (7-5) snapped a 2 fight win streak with his loss to Pearson at ENIGMA 2 by a decision. His manager and trainer explained that he didn't use the right game plan and he could have won that fight, he will look to focus better in his next fight versus Mac Burns. Kong is an excellent boxer and grappler, he can knock you out either standing or on the ground, he will look to push this fight to suit his game. He will have his hands full with equally powerful Mac Burns (0-3) took El Toro and gave him a smacking until he got taken down. His record doesn't show it as he is not as experienced but his boxing and wrestling abilities are there and he just needs to put the game plan together. Mac Burns will want to stay outside on Kong and stay off the ground, he should learn from his loss vs El Toro and take those hands and use them. Top 370K ID Fights to watch 3X3 MIN RDS 185 LBS Constantin Broodthaers (370538) VS Lotterio Mazzi (370979) Broodthaers (1-1) is making his ENIGMA debut against fellow newcomer Mazzi (0-1). Broodthaers has respectable boxing and wrestling and likes to keep the fight standing while relying in his young career on that boxing pedigree. Broodthaers trains at Fist of Fury Training Center - 4213, Los Angeles and will look to become a new Bruce Lee in ENIGMA. Mazzi has a good chin and a counter fighter, while a loss in his first fight it was only a 1 round fight and there wasn't much to go off of. He seems to rely more on the technical Muay Thai stand up and wrestling skill base rather than the boxing so Mazzi will probably use a combination of clinch and ground fighting to deter Broodthaers distance striking. 3X3 MIN RDS 135 LBS Tucker Pilon (371381) VS Mark Lopez Jr (370905) Philon (0-0) is making his debut. He is about 5'4 almost 5 inches taller than Lopez Jr. Philon has feeble boxing, muay thai, wrestling, and a blue belt and trains with the fighters over at Bennies Boppers - 4812, Amsterdam. He will be tested as Lopez (1-0-1) has a big heart and a blue belt. Lopez won by submission at ENIGMA 2 with a triangle submission over Fukuhara Yasutoki (371178). The smaller Lopez Jr. will want to avoid the middle of the cage and move inside of Philon, taking Philon to the ground in a fight of blue belts may be what the doctor prescribes. 3X3 MIN RDS 205 LBS Davon Davis (370614) VS Dante England (370433) Davis (0-1) has good wrestling and basic striking, he was very active but also very inaccurate with his strikes. He did lots of stand up and clinch fighting but wasn't able to capitalize. He will take on England (1-0) who won by decision at ENIGMA 1. England will look to pressure his opponent and attack in multiple ways making Davis second guess and hesitate. Davis will try to sharpen up his skills and keep England from controlling the fight. A win for England would mean a 2 fight win streak in ENIGMA. ENIGMA IS SPONSORED BY:
