135 League just revised and as you can see there is one Tournament spot remaining. It will be Decided on 3/17 Freddie Simons the Darkhorse has a shot to Get in if he can Beat Mike Miami by 1rst round stoppage only. If he fails to do so than the final spot will go down to a Tie breaker.

After dissecting this Tie breaker as I stated #1 is the tie breaker goes to best league record and considering both Duboulay and Maleszewski have the same record it then goes to the #2 stipulation which is always going to get a decisive decision and that is the highest ranked fighter. In this case that would mean Maleszewski who has a fight on the same day will hold the future in his own hands if he wins, he advances if he loses Duboulay will get that final spot.

Mr Madness: It’s time to put the MADNESS back in MILF! Today is a very special day. We are welcoming Mr Fireballer34 onto the MILF team! Say hello to everyone Mr Fireballer!

Fireballer34: Hello everyone! It’s a pleasure to be here with you Mr Madness.

MM: And with you too. Anyway, what will you be doing for MILF? I can’t seem to remember what I hired you for.

F: Yes, you did seem a bit off that night. What was going on?

MM: Uhh… I was just contemplating the demise of the island in 2 months and whether I’d be erased off the face of the earth or not.

F: Wow, let’s not go there just yet! There’s still 2 more months, plenty of time to renew the island spirit. Anyway, the reason I am here is to serve as a writer and to help out with tasks that are currently making Mr Tycoon Judas want to kill himself.

MM: Oh that guy? I forgot he still worked here. Well, can we expect some good write ups?

F: Hopefully! I’ll be covering the top fights from each card all the way up until the MILF tournament, where I will be covering the entire thing.

MM: Why would you want to get your first writing job here? Doesn’t everyone know that this island is a smoking wreck of nobody giving a fuck?

F: That’s precisely it. I want to bring some excitement back to the island! I encourage everyone to write about their fighters, there is still time! @Skuzbukit You should know your fighters well enough by now, there’s no more excuses! @CelticStryder what happened to Declan? He was the second most loved (next to Tristan of course) fighter on this island! @everyonelse Let’s get excited and save this island!

MM: Wow, that was very inspirational. I’m glad I hired you Mr Fireballer

F: No problem Mr madness. I just hope that the people reading this will decide to do something instead of just liking this post.

Looking forward to this.............Welcome to the MADNESS staff!

Until the playoffs, I’ll only be writing about the top events from each card that have playoff implications.

                       MILF 31!

In 2 days, almost 1000 fans will cram into the underground arena for MILF 31. This event may determine some playoff matchups, so let’s break it down.

Alien Invasion vs Pitter Patter

Both fighters have interesting names, and interesting fight styles too. A lot of the time at 185 fighters stay on the feet and go for knockouts, or at least can if they needed too. Well, Alien Invasion is a ground specialist, having never landed a strike standing up at this promotion. However, he is a major threat on the ground, with all 4 Alien f his wins coming from referee stoppage. Pitter Patter is more of a standup fighter, and although he only has 2 fights here at MILF, he has dominated both. He has also beat Chick Hamland, a tough fighter, by stuffing his takedown attempts and dominating the clinch. A win for either might clinch a playoff spot, so this fight is huge.

Prediction: Patter wins this fight just like the Hamland one. Invasion fails to get the takedown and Patter knocks him out.

Unfortunately that may be the only fight at this event with playoff implications, but there are a lot of other top fighters who have either already clinched playoffs or are having their first fights at the promotion, so make sure to tune in!

MILF 32

Reid vs Jackson

Saul Jackson has not been eliminated yet due to the 16 man middleweight field, but failure to finish Reid in round 1 most likely will cost him a spot in the playoffs. Samir Reid has probably clinched playoffs, but is still looking to lock up a higher seed. Jackson is a powerful striker who has won three fights via one punch. Reid is also a striker, so this battle will likely be who can knock each other out first.

Prediction: Reid via KO (Punch)

Triple D vs Renaud

This one is simple. If Dominguez wins, he goes to the playoffs. If he loses, he doesn’t. Renaud is the type of fighter Dominguez has faced before, like JoJo Dresden, but Renaud hasn’t had too many fights, so there’s no telling what could happen. It’s another case of striker vs striker, so likely a combination of sliders, hiddens, and mostly rng will determine this fight.

Prediction: Dominguez by TKO (Strikes)

If I have time I’ll do previews of the events on the 17th and try to recap these events (top fights, OTN awards, etc)

                        MILF 33

Heavyweight-Bayou vs Lopez

Bayou, hailing from the famous Laz Staz camp, is touted as a great fighter, especially by his manager. He has not lost a fight since arriving on the island, and likely would be in the playoffs already if he didn’t make the bad decision of joining UIW first. Since joining MILF, he is 2-0 against top competition and the ref has had to stop both fights because of the damage this man inflicted. Lopez is a allrounder, getting a submission win and a KO win. He is incredible on the ground, able to tap you or pound you. Some people say he’s like a snake, able to squeeze you but he puts some venom in his punches. Lopez comes from the Furious Tyson camp, which has put out many other great island fighters this season. Lopez will definitely try to take this to the ground while Bayou will go for the KO on the feet.

Prediction: Bayou by KO

Heavyweight-Maluga vs Fisherman

Kukina Maluga had a disappointing start to his island season, dropping his first 2 fights, then getting a finish in the third. If he gets another first round finish, he will join the tie for the playoffs. Anything else eliminates him. Fisherman is 1 win away from clinching playoffs, with 11 points. He’s only 18, but he’s performed great so far against admittedly lesser competition. This is a striker vs striker fight, so most likely the 25 year old should win. But don’t doubt this prodigy if an 18 year old! Chip Nickel, an old fighter and reporter, has said that Kilo told him “if Kukina doesn’t make the playoffs he’ll never be my son.” That is unverified. That’s rough, but honestly, if I was the best fighter in the planet I’d disown my failure son too. Kukina will be fighting his hardest to win his fathers approval, but will it be enough?

Prediction: Kukina gets his 1st round KO then sadly loses the tiebreaker and gets disowned

Alien Invasion vs Pitter Patter

Even though I admit in my predictions I always hope for the KO, I still was disappointed by the result in the fight. Sure, it was the FOTN, but come on! We want to see a finish! We almost did, since in round 1 Patter dominated, rocking Invasion, but failed to get the finish. From there on it got boring as Invasion wised up and didn’t let Patter back to his feet for the entire rest of the fight. Invasion landed some G&P, but it was extremely one sided for rounds 2 and 3.

KOTN

Antti Kokko

As soon as Lefell came out of the gate, it was clear what his game plan was. He wanted to get this fight to the ground, where he usually dominates. However, it didn’t go as planned. Instead, Kokko clinched up and started mercilessly beating Lefell. Poor Lefell. He kept going for takedowns, never once believing his strategy wasn’t working. That was, until he woke up a couple of hours later in the hospital. Going for a takedown, Kokko countered with a big punch, which knocked Lefell out.

Other interesting fights:

Kash McCannigan vs Grga Chvarak

Chvarak had a rough debut in MILF, as McCannigan showed off his kickboxing skills in this one, landing punches and kicks. But there was one less that stood out, a brutal one which knocked down Chvarak, and McCannigan finished him off with a few more punches.

This card has a lot of playoff matchups on it, so the Underground will be packed today because of all these important fights!

Light Heavyweight-Krulov vs Marsh

About the fighters:  Zahar Krulov hails from the respected Markov camp, who have trained some great fighters in the past. Meanwhile, Marsh is from the Westacott camp, who are known for being powerful fighters on the island. Marsh could have gone pro in soccer (football), but picked MMA instead. Clearly that was a good choice because he is dominating his division this season, with 18 MILF points and an overall record of 5-1.
Krulov is a bit more secretive about his endeavors, but reporter Chip Nickel has said that when he wins the island he would like to meet Khabib, his hero, in person.

Gameplan: Krulov is a ground and pound fighter, winning most of his fights on the mat. He will play defensive on his feet, looking for a counter takedown or the right moment to shoot. Marsh has won against ground fighters before, like Mario Isaksson, a submission fighter. He knows what he’s doing, and his plan will likely be similar to that fight, with him being the aggressor and looking for an early KO. He definitely has the power to do so.

Playoff Implications: Marsh has already clinched the playoffs, and has fought 4 times, so this fight isn’t important to him. Instead, it is a test to see if he can beat a gnp fighter like Krulov. For Krulov though, this fight is crucial because his 12 points only puts him tied for the 8th spot, but a win or draw would clinch him. With a loss, he could lose the tiebreaker or be passed by guys like Randall Cunningham or Zdenko Radic.

Prediction: Marsh gets a quick KO and puts Krulov’s future in jeopardy.

Featherweight-Dakat vs Derek

About the Fighters: Rodney Derek is under his 3rd manager already, but he still has a chance to make the tournament. Originally from the Winterbottom camp, he is now a proud member of the Usman camp who have produced other fighters such as the Igwes. He is from England, and I’ve heard he has quite the accent. Meanwhile, Felix Dakat is a former UIW champ whose success has continued at MILF. Him and his manager are Canadian, and his favorite place in the world is Tim Hortons. He contributed his only loss this season to a lack of Tim Hortons for breakfast and ever since he’s been airdropping a bagel every morning to eat.

Gameplan: Dakat can win any way, being able to KO you on the feet or submit you on the ground, making him very difficult to fight due to his lack of weaknesses. Since Derek likes the clinch, and the rest of his Muay Thai like kicks, which he used to knock out his last opponent, Dakat should try and take this to the ground where he has the more sizable advantage. Derek will go for some kicks and also try to clinch where he will land some punches. Don’t think that this will go to the ground and be over though. Derek is exceptional good at stuffing takedown attempts so it might be hard for Dakat to get him where he wants him. It only takes one though…

Prediction: Derek lands a brutal head kick that knocks out Dakat

                   MILF 32 Review

Reid vs Jackson

This fight could have been a KO of the night, it had a great ending. Jackson came out of the gate aggressive, and Reid wasn’t able to counter many of his punches. Jackson kept throwing more and more strikes until a massive uppercut threw Reid up into the air, and on to the mat. I predicted Reid would win but I obviously underestimated Jackson, who has a real shot at the playoffs now.

Triple D vs Renaud

This one was the KOTN, Dominguez came out flying with strikes everywhere. Renaud just couldn’t get his counter punches off and Dominguez got a knockdown. Renaud managed to get back up, so Domingo Don faked a leg kick and landed a shocking Superman punch to the head, crumpling Renaud to the ground.

SOTN

Blazej Maleszewski

Although this was the only submission of the card, so he won it by default, it still was a very impressive one. His opponent wasn’t very impressive, so it was a bit of a fluke, but hey, who’s counting right? Joe had 4 takedown attempts stuffed, his only 4 moves of the fight, and once Blazej took it to the ground he didn’t even do anything. Maleszewski had 3 submission attempts, and his last one, a Kimura from side control, got through and tapped out Joe.

FOTN

Ridley vs Knight

Mr Madness seems to love decisions as Fight of the nights, I respect his opinion but have to disagree, finishes are much more exciting. This fight was one of the better decision fights I’ve seen though, so that makes up for it. The first round Knight came out strong  with a takedown and ground and pound, winning him the round. The second round he got the takedown but couldn’t do as much in the ground and Ridley ended up barely winning the round. In the third and decisive round, Ridley got the takedown and just dominated on the ground, and when it came time for the decision, Ridley ended up getting the split decision win.

Al set for the Playoffs!!! I will be keeping a reserve handy for each division for a few days until every fight is Booked and everyone accepts. I was hoping to do the events per Weight class, but I have a feeling the injuries may hinder that idea. No biggie though I will put plan B into place if need be.

Just because you did not make the playoffs is not the end of the world nor the end of the Island for you keep fighting and, everyone loves a comeback story!

              MILF 33,34,35 Review

33

Lopez vs Bayou

This fight is proof that on the island, the floor is always better. The ground and pound fighter win this one, because after he finally got his takedown there was no going back. Bayou was so close to surviving the round but unfortunately Lopez landed some finishing strikes to end it.

FOTN

Santorino vs Hamland

This fight was a classic with the fight having major events taking place n the clinch, standup and ground. As the fight started, Hamland took the fight into the clinch, it kept being broken but he would go right back to it. While in the clinch, Hamland was stuffed on takedown attempt after attempt. All while Santorino was just beating him up. Hamland did manage to get a takedown towards the end of the round, where he displayed his famous ground and pound. It looked like this fight might be over, as Santorino was rocked, and then Ding Ding Ding! The bell rang, saving Santorino momentarily. In the next round the strategy was the same for Hamland. His takedowns were repeatedly stuffed and as Santorino broke the clinch, Hamland was never able to get back in it…

Hamland wants to clinch
and Santorino counters with a huge left! Hamland is in big trouble! He's backing up but Santorino isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hamland from any more damage. A dominating finish by Santorino!

KOTN

Jumbo Mills

Although Mills is not in the playoffs, he did put on a show today. Mills was extremely aggressive, landing punch after punch, rocking Brogan, and 35 seconds after the start of the fight, Mills landed a beautiful hook that knocked Brogan out.

SOTN

Jamar Kinkead

Kinkead is an artist of jiu jitsu, and after he scored a takedown, his first sub attempt was an arm triangle that got past Arlin’s defenses and tapped him out.

34

FOTN

This may have been the greatest comeback in MILF history, as this fight between two brown belts got WILD. As you’d expect, this fight was on the ground for pretty much the whole time, with Adonis Ford winning the first two rounds because of his grappling skills. It looked like the same thing would happen in the third, with Ford poised for a decision victory, but with 10 seconds left in the fight, Schlager managed to get an arm, and with 4 seconds left in the fight, Ford tapped to the Kimura! Wild finish and what a win for Schlager.

KOTN

Malcolm Young

Another big finish just before the end of a round here, as Young may have won the first round, but I guess we’ll never know who really would have won it, because right at the end, Young rocked Morrow with a hook. Then as Morrow got back up, an uppercut from Young knocked out Morrow before he even hit the floor.

SOTN

Jaylen Stout

As opposed to the other fights, this one was quick, only 22 seconds. Stout immediately got the takedown and began sub hunting. This was a crazy submission, as Nielsen went for a huge punch. He missed and Stout caught him in a triangle. Then with a move that left the crowd speechless, he transitioned into an arm at that forced Nielsen to tap. Even the commentator thought that that was an easy sub of the night!

35

FOTN

Dakat vs Derek

Just as predicted, this fight was great,  but there can only be one winner. I thought that Derek would land a nasty head kick, but he was never able to land a big one, so a great job by Dakat. In the third round, Dakat took the fight to the ground, obviously a bit worried by Derek’s power. This strategy won him the fight, as once he got there he was able to secure a triangle on his first attempt and Derek ended up tapping.

KOTN

Jayden Marsh did exactly as I predicted, securing a quick KO win. A counter punch landed perfectly and Marsh jump on him and finished it, a brutal KO that shows Marsh’s domination of his division. Expect him to be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

SOTN

Freddie Simmons

Neither Simmons nor his opponent are particularly impressive fighters, but this was a solid submission nonetheless. He got to the side and managed to grab one of Miami’s arms, and quickly got the two from the armbar.

Bantamweight playoff Preview

image.jpeg.5873c03af4fc87e439a5d7cd831654c8.jpeg
Eduardo Chavez vs Pope Callixtus

About Fighters:
Chavez has been the number 1 p4p on the island, before red hot Landin Durham beat him. From the Michael Lewis, camp, a red hot young manager who aspires to become the greatest, Chavez is from the South American country of Columbia. He is 3-1 in MILF with 2 submissions, and he is the 3 seed in the tournament. He’s beaten Callixtus before, but it was a close decision. The Pope has finished all his wins by submission, but has lost twice. From the Vatican itself, the Pope thought it’d be fun to get into fighting, and the spirit of God must have helped him, because he was pretty darn good at it.

Gameplan:

This one is pretty easy, both will be submission hunting, right? Well, maybe not. Last fight Chavez kept Pope in the clinch and dominated for the decision, with neither of them even attempting a takedown, but after the result the Pope got last time, expect him to try to get to the ground where it should be a battle of who can get the sub first.

Prediction:

Chavez gets his submission and moves on to round 2.

Other Predictions:

Landin Durham vs Freddie Jones

Freddie Jones is a sleeper, but come on. It’s Landin Durham. Durham via first round sub.

image.jpeg.db54e1bfbee801b6ddc0997779611da0.jpeg

Zuniga vs Igwe

This could be disaster, because the managers of both fighters have been inactive for a few days, hopefully they’ll log in and accept the fight. If not, who knows what will happen? If this fight were to happen though, I would bet on Zuniga submitting the striker.

No clue what is happening with the rest of the fights, something seems messed up.

MILF Welterweight Playoff Preview

image.jpeg.613c6c6af06145167c367e33402e8b18.jpeg
Jovinovich vs Couture

About Fighters:

Jovonovich may be the 1 seed in this tournament, but he’s a very underrated fighter. 4-0 in MILF, every win a first round submission. He looks unstoppable. He looks eerily like Keanu Reaves, I wonder what the connection is there. He’s brutal with his submissions, from an arm bending Americana to a guillotine that knocked his opponent out cold. On the other hand, Couture barely squeaked into this playoff. After his first two league fights were wins, he appeared to have his spot in the playoffs but two straight losses barely kept him in the playoffs as the 8 seed. Couture is an island legacy, so he looks to continue his families success.

Gameplan:

Jovonovich would like to get this into the ground where he his incredible skills and will probably win. Couture has a bit of skill on his feet so he might want to utilize that but since Jovonovich has such good takedowns it might be tough to stay up for long.

Prediction:

Jovonovich gets a quick submission like all his other fights and continues his dominant run.

Other Predictions:

Aden Parker vs Elix Juarez

Parker’s only loss came from Jovonovich, he’s been very dominant the rest of the time, I think he knocks out Juarez, who has been KO’d before.

Ferriera vs Kokko

Ferriera already got a first round sub of Kokko in the league stage, and I don’t see why it should be any different now against the 22 year old who may develop to be a good fighter, but currently is just not ready for the older guys.

Andolini vs Hutchinson

Andolini has faced and beaten much better competition than Hutchinson, but Hutchinson will try to prove that he can beat tough competition in this fight. They actually have the same amount of points, but Hutchinson lost to a decision last fight and Andolini could try the same strategy. Andolini by decision.

MILF Lightweight Playoff Preview

Remy Leeuwenhoek vs Alvro Machado

About Fighters:

Leeuwenhoek is another island legacy, from Dirk Deadly MMA. He definitely lives up to that name, as he is a deadly striker. His Muay Thai is incredible, and his barrages of punches and kicks are tough to avoid. He seems to have mastered the strategy of island fighting, he remains cool and composed in the cage, always ready to strike when the moment presents itself. Most of all, he is determined to win and won’t let anything get in his way. That has carried him to 4 straight MILF wins, all by KO. Machado isn’t a pushover either though. He’s been through hardship. It was almost over for him when manager Mac Little sacked him. Most island fighters don’t get through this, and are forced into early retirement. Not Machado though. He started posting flyers everywhere, on buildings, signs, telephone poles. Luckily, a manager named Freaky Phantom just so happened to see that flyer on his way home from Freaky Fight Club on the island. He was in need of a new freaky student, and Alvro fit the mold perfectly. The next thing Machado knew, he was dubbed the freakster and was going into a fight that could decide whether he would go to the MILF playoffs or not. In his fight against Augustus Walls, he dominated in all aspects of the game, and got himself a unanimous decision victory to slide into the last spot of the playoffs.

Gameplan:

Leeuwenhoek has always been a standup fighter, and he’s GOOD there. He brutally KO’s most of his opponents, usually in the first round too. He will play around with some kicks, some punches, and look for the right time to go for the kill. Machado has some skill on his feet, but not nearly enough to beat Leeuwenhoek. He will want this to go to the ground, where he can look for submissions. If he wants the decision, each round that they stand up for the start of is another chance for him to get KTFO.

Prediction:

Leeuwenhoek’s stellar takedown defense keeps him up and a counter punch on a takedown attempt ends in all for the freakster.

Other Fights:

Danny Vargas vs Ryan Montana

Montana is one of the channel 4 news teams island reporters this year, but they can fight too. The Jiu-Jitsu brown belt has some serious skills on the mat, with 4 of his 5 wins coming by submission. Some may say he hasn’t faced good competition besides his one loss, but the “sex panther” says otherwise. An excerpt from his interview of himself on channel 4.

Ryan: How would you respond to people’s accusations that you have not faced anyone good?

Ryan: I think they should fight me.

Shortly after, a man took Ryan up on his offer and left in an ambulance.

Vargas is no slouch either, and he may be a superhero in disguise. In his fight against “Freakster” Machado, Vargas started levitating in the air before throwing a Superman punch that crumpled Machado. Some started calling him British Superman after that fight.

Prediction: Vargas beats this panther with an uppercut right to his chin.

Jake From Statefarm vs Justice Washington

There is bad blood between these 2, as Washington prevented Statefarm from potentially getting the one seed with a win over him. Both are very closely matched, with 3 wins, all come from subs.

Prediction: History repeats itself and Washington wins by submission.

Freaky Igor vs Augustus Walls

Igor is another freak, and he’s arguably the freakiest. 3 wins, all coming via KO, and he’s thirsty for blood. This 155 division is really a strikers vs grapplers thing, with 3 strikers and 5 grapplers in this tournament. Walls in the latter, an 18 year old grappler with 3 submission wins, his only loss coming to Alvro Machado.

Prediction: Igor gets a KO and the freaks keep on coming.

The Playoffs will hit the Island this weekend and I want to start by thinking Fireballer for his writing previews. It's a fucking lot (with 8 tournaments of at least 8 fighters per tournament) to keep up with and to do so you would have to be really fucking MAD!

That said I have a little time away from Real Life and wanted to do a little something for the big festivities, so below is the Brackets and as seen in some of Fireballers previews above some images of the MILF Playoff Combatants. I will finish the rest of the Weight classes slowly but surely but for now here are the 135-to-170-pound Playoff brackets!

#1 Seed Erik Bjornsson will look to keep his dominant ways going as he collides with the purple haired Russian looking to bounce back after his first loss of the Island Season.

Marh_vs_Violet.jpg?ex=6616adf4&is=660438f4&hm=790a12fef427742ddc22ad3dbef16ea58c396a95aa4c7fabf67efef26a240cd1&

In a rematch we will see the #3 seed Jaydin marsh meet the beautifully trimmed manscaped figure Tug Violet. Marsh handed Violet his sole loss of his career a month ago.

Cunn_vs_Mil.jpg?ex=6616adf4&is=660438f4&hm=f3ebe2a0049e842f997cf29f94b7d1177626ab0d5c783557ca9e12685c581407&

The #4 and #5 seed will throw down as well as they both are on 3 fight win streaks currently.

Super Heavyweight rundown

Web_capture_25-3-2024_181342_challonge.com.jpeg?ex=66147a5a&is=6602055a&hm=4ce2a33bc28f1344cc7d65d4d78cdf278eab9fa92e8a98769fc2c0784111868c&

MILF Super Heavyweight Fightoff - Challonge

Igwe_vs_Couture.jpg?ex=6617e897&is=66057397&hm=5783e6f39f37721eacde2615fc1cad474de57eb8551b267256e77693cd756f3d&

#1 seed Uche Igwe turned things around after dropping his first League fight finishing off his next three opponents with first round One punch Ko's. He will step in the cage with Couture for a second fight and at SHW it only takes one solid punch and either of these guys could go down like big Oak tree in the forest of Madness!

Mcgraw_vs_Schilt_1.jpg?ex=6617e897&is=66057397&hm=8639bbec8c940bf9e277cdd6321afc6e849e3245874579197565f5a7c9ad7e1d&=&format=webp&width=350&height=450

McGraw will be giving away nearly a foot in height in this matchup against Schilt. Scooter was the first and only man to take out Kristopher Marks and mission Stefan failed to do. This means nothing of course as Styles make matchups and if his chin could hold up McGraw may be in for long and painful night.

Dominguez_vs_Sandoval.jpg?ex=6617e897&is=66057397&hm=567bf7e10d865597281aa3cae5c2bda47acad1b464b974a7391b8cc153a1dc67&=&format=webp&width=350&height=450

In another rematch we will see the battle of receding hairlines ONE MORE TIME. Last time Sandoval put Triple D away in round two with a barrage of strikes. Dominguez though has managed to bounce back nicely with back-to-back first round KO's.

Marks_vs_Sen.jpg?ex=6617e897&is=66057397&hm=c959e664e00466da62fa1c4f24f6f8b2ab9bd2521d177095ecec3b977ad2c8c2&=&format=webp&width=350&height=450

In the final SHW showdown which will take place the following weekend will see how Kristopher Marks fairs after coming off his first Loss. Sen also had a minor setback in his last fight so both of these behemoths should be ready for war and looking to murder!

In case you have been living in a dirty crack house the last month, it is my responsibility to inform you that the MILF Playoffs have begun. We are just a few weeks away from FINALLY crowning the inaugural champions. Both the Lightweight and Light Heavyweight Divisions have their Round two match-ups sorted and the brackets are moved along accordingly. Injuries will continue to be a thorn in My buttocks though as I try to line the Divisions up properly and with glee.

Today your Prince of Crime will recap the Playoff fights that went down over the Weekend and give a semi unethical view of some of the Round two match-ups that are in the works!

Bantamweight Playoff Round 1 (WIP)

#1 Landin Durham vs #8 Freddie Simons

Landin Durham is was a perfect 5-0 coming into this fight.  During the League portion he completely Dominated going 4-0 with 4 submission victories. On the other side Freddie "Scat Man" Simons managed to come to the League late and pick up that finally seeding with his two Submission wins in the League faze.

On paper this was a tough match-up for Simons a Purple belt in BJJ was up against the wall facing the Dominant Brown Belt who clearly didn't pick his belt up front he McDonalds drive through. The fight proved this much as Landin scored the Takedown early and put Freddie away with an Arm Triangle in just 52 seconds of the very first round.

The #1 seed will now wait for his next opponent which will be decided this weekend as #4 Seed Jorge Baroza meets #5 seed Swinzey McKnney.

#3 Eduardo Chavez vs #6 Pope Callixtus

Eduardo Chavez has looked very strong this season only loosing to Landin Durham. He managed to go 3-0 with a decisive victory over his round 1 opponent at MILF 8. As for Pope he went 2-2 during the League faze but his victories both earned him 6 points a piece which was a huge factor in getting him in the Playoffs.

Pope wrote his wrongs and won the Rematch with his dominant Top Position control. Both fighters were very active trying to finish the fight for the duration but neither could get the upper hand. To Chavez credit he did snag the third round of action but too little too late as he learned that you just don't fuck around with Pope Callixtus on Pre Easter Sunday!

#6 seed Pope Callixtus now awaits the winner of #2 Giancarlo Zuniga who will meet the #7 seed Eja Igwe next weekend to round out the Bantamweight field.

Featherweight Playoff Round 1 results (WIP)

#1 Dragon Kingadad vs #8 Rodney Derek

Kingdad was an absolute 145 pound Atomic Bomb through his League faze picking up 4 First round (T)KO's, 3 of which where walk off one punch victories. That's pretty impressive at such a light W/C IMO. His opponent for round 1 Rodney Derek just walked his way into the field of 8 but did shine at MILF 24 collecting himself 5 big points with a Highlight reel Headkick KO. Coming into this fight with 3 different Fight camps couldn't have helped his stock either.

Looking at this one you would have to say Derek may have been the biggest underdog of the tournament but he made Kingdad work in this fight. Dragon failed to not only put Rodney away in round 1 like he has down the large majority of his career but he managed to get dominate din the first round on the feet by the underdog. Low and behold the round two was a whole different story as Kingdad rocked Derek early on then scored with a nasty Counter Punch that ended the night for Mr Derek.

#1 seed Dragon Kingdad now waits for the outcome of #4 Maciej Galecki and $5 Josh Jordan this coming Weekend.

#3 Ross Morrow vs #6 Finley Neilson

Ross "Bad Batch" Morrow proved to be a pretty good batch in my not so Humble opinion going 3-1 during the League faze and collecting himself a couple of TKO's in the process. Finley Nielsen on the other hand found similar success going 3-1 as well but picking his win up by Decision and just getting in the playoffs through that process.

Stylistically Nielsen needed to get this fight to the ground or he was going to be in bad trouble against the primarily defensive wrestling styled striker in Ross Morrow. Finley wanted to clinch up early and I'm sure try to work a takedown at some point. Unfortunately though he never got the chance as Morrow went off on his for with Head punches in the clinch until his opponent was in another galaxy.

#3 seed Ross Morrow will now await the winner of #2 seed Malcolm Young and #7 Seed Freaky Trevor to see who joins him in the Semi Finals.

Lighweight Playoff Round 1 results

#1 Remy Leeuwenhoek vs #8 Alvro Machado

Remy made a statement with his League faze results winning all 4 fights with brutal knockouts and taking that #1 seeding. To add to that he notched one final Highlight reel TKO over fellow Playoff combatant Jake from State farm just prior to the Bracket announcement. Alvro Machado was no slouch during the League either collecting 3 wins out of 4 and all three being first round Submissions.

This looked like it could be a scary fight for Leeuwenhoek considering the BJJ Credentials of Machado but Remy proved he has the sauce. Machado eagerly tried to tie up in the clinch with Remy time after time but the Dutchmen was having none of it. Working his kicks and punches against the grappler the fight was called at 1;59 in Round 1 with a vicious right hand that injured  Alvro and injured his pride a little as well.

#4 Augustus Walls vs #5 Freaky Igor

Augustus is a prime example of an 18 year old Island phenom, as this BJJ Purple belt took the League by storm snatching up a quick 18 points via 3 first round submission victories. Freaky Igor on the other hand notched himself 17 points in the League but with his Standup skills and proving he has some lethal Punching power.

This fight started with Igor taking his time waiting for a clean shot in which he found some success early cutting up his young for. Like a boss though Walls loves the taste of his blood and quickly sneaked into his game plan which started with a successful takedown in guard. Walls put the striker on his back and the rest was history as he secured a Kimura forcing Igor to tap in round 1.

 Semi Final matchup

#1 Remy Leeuwenhoek vs #5 Augustus Walls

SO now we have another Striker vs Grappler showdown coming up in round two. Augustus "Gym Bully' Walls has shown through his first 5 pro fights that he can take a punch, he may bleed a bit but he is tough as nails! He will now face one of the hardest hitting and Kicking strikers in the Division and will need to be on point. As for Remy this will be his toughest fight to date he will need to stay away from the ground at all coasts as he has down thus far. No one has yet to bring the Dutchmen to the ground so we don't know how he does there will this young kid from Cali be the first, we will soon find out!

#2 Danny Vargas vs #7 Ryan Montana

Danny Vargas was the clear cut #2 seed going 3-1 in the League faze only loosing to #1 seed Remy Leeuwenhoek. Danny has also shined this MILF season with his performances winning 3 KOTN awards. Ryan Montana on the other hand started his League action with a Loss but proceeded to find his growing winning his next 3 to advance to the Playoff.

Danny Vargas come out looking for another quick win in this one and was scoring with his Head punches early. He managed to break out of Montana's first clinch but during the second clinchup "The Sex Panther" Managed to pull Vargas down to the mat. Vargas failed to escape the aggressive attack of Monatna's Submission game and was forced to tap out due to Armbar at just 1:21 in the very first round.

#3 Jake from State farm vs #6 Justice Washington

Jake whom has took some time away from his cozy Insurance salesman gig to pursue a career in the MAD world of MMA. He has showcased his skills nicely going 3-1 in the League with 3 first round submission wins. His counterpart Justice Washington also went an impressive 3-1 in the League which included a win over Jake.

In the first outing we saw that these two fighters were almost identical in styles, in the first fight Jake went straight to the clinch were Mr Washington was happy to oblige as he then took him down and forced him to tap. This matchup was much similar as the two BJJ Brown belts were looking to get the fight to the mate quickly. This time around the State farm was the more aggressive fighter on the ground as he was looking for submissions frequently. Working from the Back position Jake made Washington feel like a fish out of water as he locked in one final RNC attempt and forced the tap.

Semi Finals Matchup

#7 Ryan Montana vs #3 Jake From Statefarm

Another Rematch will be had as the two fierce BJJ Brown Belts look to take part in a certified Grappling match. BOOOOOOO!!!! Although these two are pretty impressive on the mat with both having 5 submission victories a piece in their young careers. The first go around Jake made it look very easy locking in a Guillotine in under two minutes. The Sex Panther will need to make some quality adjustments if he wants to rebound in this fight.

King Hippo: Hey was that aimed at me? I'm man enough to admit I took the loss against Bobby Bayou hard, but calling my place dirty is under the belt. I haven't seen anything about the HW division in a good while and that is not just because I've been living in.. eh.. never mind. I'm back training again now and I got the perfect comeback fight lined up where I'm gonna break the 0 of this Lopez guy who broke Bayous 0.

Light Heavyweight Playoff Round 1 results

#1 Erik Bjornsson vs #8 Zahar Krulov

Erik has cleanly put his name atop the Light Heavyweights this Island Season winning each and everyone of his fights in round one my ridiculous Knock Outs. His perfect 24 point performance puts him at the #1 seed.  His Opponent Zahar Krulov looked very strong through his first two MILF League matchups collecting two first round finishes himself.

This fight had a bit of a story behind it as Bjornsson didn't spark fear in his opponents eye he in fact sparked fear in said fighters manager who sacked him like a soggy bag of crackers. Krulov now with no one in his corner came into the fight with the sole game plan to shoot for takedowns constantly and he failed miserably. Bjornsson made quick work of the Russian as he marked up that purple fade of his with powerful head shots ultimately ending the bout just passed the one minute mark with a stunning Spinning backfist.

#4 Randall Cunningham vs #5 Gabriel Mil

Randall checked into the playoffs at the #4 spot with just 3 fights, luckily for him they were all finishes. Randall seems to have a thing for baiting his opponents into thinking there in the fight then with seconds before the bell he cleans their clock, at least it was evident in his first two fights. Gabriel Mil had a stunning comeback from his debut fight, rallying off three straight wins 2 of which ended in first round murders. via his deadly GnP

Mil who is a stud wrestler with ferocious Ground n Pound showed his game plan as he wore himself down with his relentless takedown attempts. Randall made one small mistake in my opinion when he chose to clinch and this helped Mil score his first takedown of the fight. In my opinion that first round was a lot closer then what some people might say and I would even give that one to Mil for Ground control reasons. Round two starts with another takedown attempt for Mil as Cunningham countered it with a low kick. This was pretty much the end for Gabriel who was breathing very heavy and Randall looked fresh as a daisy and the end came by way of a nice 1-2 followed upon with a thunderous Hook, goodnight Irene!

Semi Final Matchup

#1 Erik Bjornsson vs #4 Randall Cunningham

This one looks like a fun fight for you blood thirsty Mongrol's out there. Two Deadly strikers going Head to Head. Neither of which have made it passed the 2nd round yet. It's gonna come down to gameplan, and simply who has the better Finishing power IMO.  Cunningham may have the edge in China but no doubt Bjornsson has that first round KO power edge.

#2 Pascal Popper vs #7 Jerome Browning

Pascal Popper is yet another ride or die striker as shown in his previous bouts going 3-1 in the MILF League. His three wins combined to last under two mintutes, that says all you need to know about his ability to put someone to sleep. Jerome Browning was no slouch either going 2-1 with two first round finishes of his own.

Browning is a rare commodity in this LHW Playoff as much like Gabriel Mil if he can get you down your going to be in big trouble. Popper could not manage to stop Jerome's first Takedown attempt and he struggled desperately to escape his tiring ground offense. Breathing heavily and cut badly popper was in all sorts of trouble as Browning continued to wait away on the #2 seed until the ref sees his eyes roll back and dives in to save Pascal from further punishment.  Big upset at LHW IMO as Browning advances.

#3 Jayden Marsh vs #6 Tug Violet

Marsh had the unfortunate task of facing off with Erik Bjornsson in their MILF League debuts. That did not go his well but since that fight he went off like a stick of dynamite collecting three straight TKO wins to finish out his league with the #3 seed. Tug also went 3-1 in the League with three TKO performances of his own his 1 loss being at the hands of his round 1 foe himself.

Looked as if this rematch may just go Tugs way as he managed lock get the fight to the clinch, only Jayden invited it this time and proceeded to unload punch after punch onto the "Anchors" astonishing face. Round 1 ended with Marsh in a firm lead on the scorecards, which did not stop Tug from shouting across the cage at his opponent stating "Im about to make you my Bitch". Clearly this is were Jayden drew the line and said no way sir, as he unloaded a monstrous right hand just as round two got underway sending Tug to the canvas in utter embarrassment just 5 seconds into round 2.

Semi Final Matchup

#7 Jerome Browning vs #3 Jayden Marsh

As I stated earlier Browning could be a huge problem for some of these dangerous Striker at Light Heavy. If and only IF he can get them to the mat. Browning got Popper down with his first attempt only Erik has been able to stop him in the past but he has not stepped in the cage with like of Jayden Marsh who is right there with Erik in terms of Skills. You can look at Jayden's previous fights with Krulov on Isaksson for his ability to stuff takedowns. Time will tell If Jerome will have the same fate as those two.

Super Heavyweight Playoff Round 1 results (WIP)

#1 Uche Igwe vs #8 Xavierntreal Couture

After dropping his first League fight by Decision, Uche Igwe went on a tear with three straight 1rst round KO's stealing the #1 seed in the finally weekend of League action. Meanwhile the guy with two first names in his first name Xavierntreal Couture squeaked into the final playoff spot but did have some impressive Knockouts himself in route.

No big surprise in this fight as soon as the bell ringed for round 1 these two Big beast went to headhunting. Igwe drew first blood and saw his opponent who missed a poor attempted switch kick early in the bout was breathing heavy already. Igwe scored a Knockdown after a Right Hand landed on the mark, moments later the Uppercut from Hell was brought as we saw Lucifer himself smiling from Uche's pupils and BOOOOOM! Lights out for Couture.

#4 Domingo Don Dominguez vs #5 Tristan Sandoval

Dominguez finished the League stage with a 3-1 record and two wins coming by way of first round KO. One of those earning "Triple D" KO of the night with the handy Superman Punch. Tristan Sandoval also went 3-1 with two Knock Out finishes of his own finishing right behind Dominguez in the League standings. Reality though he beat Don Domingo already so "Twister" had no problems facing him once again to get himself to the next stage.

Much like the previous bout both guys come out swinging bombs only Triple D was just swinging and missing. Sandoval cut Domingo open with his first shot and continued his onslaught landing 6/7 strikes right on the mark. After a perfectly timed liver shot hits the mark Tristan drops a brutal overhand right right on the temple and Dominguez drops like a sack of potatoes.

Semi Final Matchup

#1 Uche Igwe vs #5 Tristan Sandoval

Uche will have a chance to avenge his one and only loss to Sandoval but as we saw from Triple D who was also looking to avenge, things just didn't go as planned. Both of these cats seem to have pretty good chins, and insane power which is no surprise at this class. There first fight went to a Decision and it was pretty clear that Tristan was much more accurate by 50 miles at least. Uche did manage a Knockdown and since that fight neither fighter has gone past the second round so look for a Hell of a show in this rematch.

#3 Scooter McGraw vs #6 Stefan Schilt

McGraw managed to grab the #3 seed despite only getting in 3 fights luckily he took full advantage of them winning all three by Knock Out, two of them ending in the first round. Stefan on the other hand went 2-2 only loosing at the hands of the top two seeds in Igwe and Marks.

This fight was a shootout from the start with both fighters landing punches and for Schilt Kicks as well. McGraw instigated the Clinch every round and this is were he did his best work. While Stefan was looking to stand from the Distance and strike. Schilts use of his Kicks where working very well but McGraw ultimately stole the first two rounds with his Clinchwork in route to a Unanimous Decision 29-28 on all scorecards.

McGraw who was really put to the limit will now wait for the winner of #2 seed Kristopher Marks and #7 seed Hatsumi Sen who will throw down this weekend.

And Finally #4 Seed George Pogie faces fellow American Galen Fisherman who checks in at the 5 seed.

The Heavyweights will take center stage on Sunday April 7th.
