SYN 843 The Preview

Domenico Mazziotti vs Jason Stackhouse

//Bathory out struck him in every single way and according to reports from the Gym of Mazziotti, he is looking to that title shot once again and completely destroy anyone who gets in his way.

Stackhouse misses with a left hand and Mazziotti counters with a huge left! Stackhouse is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mazziotti isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Stackhouse from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mazziotti!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Domenico Mazziotti!
A determined Domenico Mazziotti didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

@bjornmma1 honestly I really thought Stackhouse was going to win that one! Congrats dude. This is why I stopped making predictions lol

Mazziotti sincerely regretted having played Arzlan his tickle game when they first met and is eager to tickle him a little harder to see if he holds up. That is if Arzlan doesn't all of a sudden, totally unrelated, starts asking for retirement ;)

A low kick from Ho Joy misses
and Sosa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
rocked.gif
Ho Joy is rocked!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ho Joy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sosa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sosa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Most blatantly obvious kick to the balls ever. That's one way to weather the storm...

All good Rambo. That was great fight that could have ended either way. Next time my money is on #Sosaseason.

As DHJ is on his last run to the P4P gold and rumour is that Osiris Egyptian is moving up to derail certain point fighters career, it time for fight that has been on my radar for some time.

So I would like to ask for THE superfight.

The Tickle Monster vs Do Ho Joy for LW belt.

I kinda want Krison next with my tickler, but if not I guess I'll have him tickle Joy instead. Gives bjorn's guy the chance to get his hype up a bit first.

SYN 845 Fall Brawl

The Tokyo Bowl plays host to Fall Brawl where we will see over 90 thousand fans in attendance to witness some great heavyweight action with Sparxx, Branca, Rain, and Cruz Jr. all in the fight card. Jay Dog Simon vs Urameshi is the co-main event on the night and you can imagine Bathory will be watching that one with curious interest. This whole weekend is stacked so if you like these previews check out SYN 846 and 847 expected to drop this evening or tomorrow morning! The following does not represent the thoughts, views, or expectations of SYN or its shareholders rather it is an opinion based preview of a SYN fan.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Joao Cajo Branca Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Gary Sparxx

#4 Branca vs Sparxx #3
Heavyweight Matchup

In one of the most anticipated events this upcoming weekend is none other than two of the biggest heavyweights in the world today. Joao Cajo Branca (21-10) the number 4 guy rated in the division looks to significantly jump up to the title picture when he takes on former title challenger and devestating knockout artist Gary Sparxx (25-6-1). Sparxx who is coming off at tile shot loss to the living legend Kilo Maluga believes he has it in him to jump bounce right back into the title picture if he is able to break down the "Baby-Face Fucka" who is currently riding a three fight winning streak. Sparxx had a hotly contested fued with Kilo Maluga with emotions flaring behind their press conference a few weeks back and to the surprise of many was unable to get the win against Kilo that night. Now, Branca who is looking to gain his fourth straight win believes he knows the weakness that Sparxx has that only 6 others have been able to grab. With 14 of his 21 victories coming by way of knockout, Branca is undoubtedly a terrifying opponent to stand with as he does not just rely on his knockout power to finish his fights but is extremely technical as well. Despite that advantage that is going for him, his suspect chin is a concern for his growing fanbase so they hope their elite level striker can avoid all shots to the dome and put a beating on Sparxx that he has yet to experience. In a lead up to this fight, at the Sosa vs Joy event, a journalist caught up to Kilo Maluga and asked him what he thought of this match which he quickly reminded that he has beaten both of these guys in the first round. There is undoubtedly controversy that always surrounds the heavyweight champion but knowing that sooner or later he is most likely going to mix it up with one of these two guys again has every SYN fan salivating waiting for more info to come down the pipeline.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Jay Simon  Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Yusuke Urameshi

#6 Simon vs Urameshi #5
Lightweight Matchup

Two former Lightweight champions square off against one another this weekend as Jay "Dog" Simon (22-4) looks to gain a stronger foothold in the lightweight division as he battles "The Spirit Detective" Yusuke Urameshi (31-14-1) in what fight fans are calling the fight to watch for as the fight of the night, this should come as no surprise as Urameshi himself holds 17 FOTN awards and would certainly love to get another one. Between the knockout skill set of Urameshi and the submission expertise of Simon fight fans have to know that this fight has the potential to end anywhere the bout goes. Jay Simon, who recently got back on the winning side of things held the SFL title for so long and now that he is with SYN believes that he will eventually hold the SYN Lightweight title as well. Urameshi recognizes the great talent held within Simon but knows that his glory days are just ahead of him and formerly holding the SMASH championship was just a precursor to what lies in store for him. The current odds have a strong favorite for Urameshi and believe he is going to be the one to pull this one out as his veteran expertise will be too much. This fight is quite possibly one of those fights that can go the entire distance but as we will most likely see it is going to be stopped pretty early, its just a matter of who slips up first. The lightweight division is stacked with phenomenal athletes and all around killers. It will be a blast to see who what happens after the fallout of this matchup.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Jorge Cruz Jr  Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Heavy Rain

#6 Cruz Jr. vs Rain #8
Heavyweight Matchup

Perhaps the fight I am personally most excited for is the return of Heavy Rain (39-18-1) I have been following this guys career for a while and since his return to SYN has yet to find the winning side of things. On the verge of his 40th victory he fights the "Colossus" that is Jorge Cruz Jr. (31-16) an absolute giant of a man who is really hoping to get on the winning side of things. His matchup with Rain is no doubt going to be one that he will be hoping to put away in the very first round. With both guys highly skilled in knocking out their opponents and susceptible to being knocked out themselves this is a fight that you absolutely do not want to miss. Get your popcorn and drinks and use the bathroom with enough time to make sure that you are glued to your seat the moment the bell rings because it can last all but seconds with these two. With both guys coming off of losses after having climbed so far you almost get the sense that this is a do or die for them stepping into the cage this weekend. Despite being five years apart, Cruz Jr. believes he has just as much if not more experience than Rain and will shock the spectators in usual violent fashion. Heavy Rain has definitely felt at a loss recently but should be taking a moment of joy knowing that his friend "Opie" will be fighting earlier on the card as well! This is my prediction for knockout of the night to come and just a special wish of luck to both fighters as we know how much this fight means to both of you!

                                                                                                   843 Post Fight Presser

Kishion: Hey guys thank you for joining me this evening. Before we get to the questions lets take care of business.

The attendance for the night was : 89914

The Gate was: $1,037,230

PPV Buys: 142,527

FOTN: Inspektor Bee vs Cedric De Boise

SOTN: N/A

KOTN: Inspektor Bee

H - In a matchup that went the distance, Krison put on a spectacular performance for the fans of SYN. Defending over thirty takedowns and outstriking Peterson completely.. Who comes close to taking the title from Krison?!

Kishion: I think his next Challanger Summa Sector will be his toughest yet. He is coming off back to back TKO wins over former world champions and is the youngest opponent of Krisons career. We all know father time is undefeated so this is gonna be a real tough fight.

H - In the Stackhouse Mazziotti Fight, I was pretty sure Stackhouse was going to walk away with the win but was thoroughly surprised to see Mazziotti win it. He immediately called for a title shot, is he in contention or is he still a fight or two away from it?

Kishion: Honestly I have never doubted Mazziotti for a second. From the moment i first seen him fight back in SMASH when i first took over i knew he was one of the best in the world. He is still a fight or 2 away but i do think we will see him in the title picture again.

H - Perhaps my pick for KO of the night was the Inspektor Bee KO which saw a phenomenal Head kick land in the third round. There is a short gif going around where your mouth dropped open and you pointed at Inspektor, what were you thinking when that happened?

Kishion: 2 words. Huge Upset. From the sparring stories I had heard behind the scenes between Karim Johnson and CDB i thought for sure we would be seeing him in the title picture shortly.

H - My favorite fight as many others was the one Kitjakarn vs Azumah. With over 50 head shots landed in those three rounds what does a fight like that mean to you as the leader of SYN?

Kishion: It means a lot. When 2 warriors lay it all on the line like that it shows true heart and resoect for the sport and more importantly for the fans who spend their hard earned money on it.

Kishion: Alright lets take a brief intermission and then continue with SYN 844.

                                                      844 Post Fight Presser

Kishion: Okay guys for our second event of the weekend

The attendance for the night was : 91993

The Gate was: $1,349,040

PPV Buys: 255,616

FOTN: Latrobe Arundel vs Conrad Tama Ginty

SOTN: N/A

KOTN: Summa Sector

Alright now lets continue with your questions!

H - Well...#SosaSeason has left many joy-less..There are reports that many fans are claiming that it was an early tko stoppage and Sosa was still in the fight. Do you think the referee stepped in too soon or was it perfect timing?

Kishion: I thought he could have let it go on a bit longer but I'd honestly always rather the ref be safe than sorry. This is a dangerous sport.

H - What is next for both Sosa and our new Featherweight Champion, Do Ho Joy?!

Kishion: Ho Joy shall be fighting the winner of Barbosa vs Caunt. As for Sosa we are still exploring the options.

H - Summa Sector didnt even allow some of us to sit down from getting our beers before he landed the shot from hell that put Nick Graves into a grave. Reports are the thud of the strike was felt near the first few rows of the audience. Is that a rumor or did you feel the aftershock of that punch?

Kishion: It was an amazing performance by sector and a sickening shot. The punch was honestly borderline scary.

H- Axius put on a clinic tonight outscoring his opponent in each round. With the gameplan staying away from the clinch, and striking at distance he was so exciting to watch. Who do you want to see him faced up with next?!

Kishion: Axuus will be moving down to 135 to take on Night Crawler at 135 for the #1 contender spot.

H - Arundel vs Ginty was a fight i was personally excited to witness. With probably the highest fight rating and a surprise finish, does this put Arundel in the mix at the top of his division or is he still a few wins behind?

Kishion: I think Arundel still needs 2 or 3 more wins but that doesnt mean he isnt in the mix at the top. 185 is just very deep.

H - Reports are coming in that Sosa fans have started creating a sort of a riot outside the stadium with Joy fans. What do you have to say to the fans of these two fighters?

Kishion: Honestly im not surprised, with 2 passionate fanbases like that i expect nothing less from 2 passionate fan bases like those. If a rematch ever happens it will be crazier.

H - Do you think the groin shot after JOY was stunned was intentional or purely accidental?

Kishion: Honestly i couldnt tell you. From where i was sitting it seemed accidental but it did come at an extremely convenient time for him.

H - We have Joy looking to take on another champion, the Tickle Monster. What do you make of that potential event?

Kishion:  I dont see it in the cards right now but never say never. It would be an amazing contest.
