Synchronicity 123: Measure of Hope Presents Ahiga "He who fights and Kills" Otaktay (7-2-0) vs. Apollo Hades (7-4)

Otaktay is making his Synchronicity premiere come Saturday night! Ahiga is coming off a big win over Andy Kane, where he managed to take no damage and get the TKO victory at only 4:13 of the first round. Since that win May 16th he has been working his ground game over at Ferocious Jiu-Jitsu in Los Angeles, and we patiently await this up and coming 20 year old prodigys return.. Otaktay established him self early on with his Muay Thai and devastating leg kicks, as he managed to destroy Jiu'jitsu fighters left and right without ever going to the ground. After taking a tough loss a while back he has dedicated him self to becoming a well rounded fighter. He is now nearly Remarkable in boxing, Superb in Muay Thai, Superb in Wrestling and is a blue belt going on purple in JiuJitsu. All of these things under his belt, and only 20 years old!! In his last fight he showed the power that he has in his hands as he TKO'd Kane with a punch combination...

In this next match up he is set to take on Apollo Hades. Hades is also a very well rounded fighter but at 25 years old, we will see if his experience and age will give him what it takes to stop Otaktay. I had the opportunity to interview Otaktay as he took his limo ride from the Las Vegas airport to his suite at the Palms. ...

Reporter: Ahiga, congrats on that last win. You have to feel good about a finish like that.. Now that your signed with Syn. your fighting a whole new caliber of opponents... Its basically a whole new world. You went from training on your reservation so that you could defend your self, to making enough money to take limos from the airport. This is truely a rags to riches story... You have to feel on top of the world so far. All this at only 20 years of age....

Otaktay: Thanks, ya that win was big. I managed to finish him without taking any punishment, that is what you train for, seldomly does it go that way...

Im so happy to have Syn believing in me, I owe a lot of it to Brandon Comte for his support and encouragement.. As far as the rags to riches thing gos, ya it seems very surreal, I was homeless only 2 years ago learning Muay Thai, and here I am now in Vegas with a suite at the palms, it could be wors. I was also able to save my people and open a casino for my tribe, this is the best part.

Reporter: Well congrats Ahiga ! You earned it. Tell us abut your training camp leading up to this fight...

Otaktay: Camp was the best it has ever been. I had such an easy win that I was able to stay in Vegas for a extra few weeks and train with the Warriors. I made so many improvements in my game that I dont even know where to begin... After I finished up my training there I moved to Los Angeles to my managers gym Ferocious JiuJitsu... I upped my striking game in all areas. And my JiuJitsu game went from virtually non existant to respectable in a only a few weeks. I dont know what it is, I just cant stop learning, I feel like im really getting into my prime.

Reporter: Wow, just wow! Tell us about the upcoming match up..

Otaktay: Hades is going to be no slouch. I respect him as an opponent. But I plan on destroying him...

Reporter: Straight and to the point... i love it. Any last words for your opponent.

Otakay: I have spoken to the elders, and on my peyote journey recently I had a vision. Lets just say I see a blood bath coming, and I plan on showering in my opponents blood....

Comte walks in with former UnFC champ, and UEC veteran, Niko Batchiska. An interviewer starts a conversation about Niko's Synchronicity Debut against Veteran Kid Torres in the upcoming Syn Event, Syn 123: Measure of Hope.

I. So how are you preparing for your fight against Kid Torres?

N. I'm sipping Coladas lying down by the sun. I chill in the gym for only two hours a day because I know my fight against Torres will be a cakewalk.

I. Sipping Coladas.... Two Hours.... are you Fucking crazy? Kid Torres is a Fucking Veteran!!!

N. Bite Me.

FIN.

Synchronicity 133: One Track Mind Presents : Ronald "The Butcher" McDonald (3-1) vs. Gabriel "Checkmate" Dickson (12-10-1)

Ronald "The Butcher" McDonald is an up and coming Synchronicity fighter. At only 3-1 he has 2 wins via TKO by cuts, giving his nickname "The Butcher" an even more realistic ring to it. Mc Donald is managed under the THC Alliance by manager Brandon Loveladdy in Los Angeles. He presently trains at the T.H.C. Ferocious Training Center with a top flight team of sensational + sparring partners from every discipline. In this next match up he is set to take on Gabriel Dickson. Dickson is 12-10-1, clearly being the more experienced fighter we all wonder just how far that will get him in this fight. I had the opportunity to interview Ronald McDonald this morning, this is how it all went down..

Reporter: Ron Don, can I call you that?

MCDonald: Ya, haha, thats what the ladies call me, but you can call me whatever you want haha.

Reporter: Ron-Don, you are one of my favorite fighters, I have been following you since you first fought for The Work League a.k.a. Halo FC back in March. I love watching your bloody fights. They usually dont last long, but the fans dont seem to mind. AT only 20 years old you have already mastered the art of Muay Thai, and got a firm grip on boxing, wrestling and JiuJitsu, that must feel pretty good. Tell us how did you get involved in MMA?

McDonald: Thanks for the kind words dude. I started training Muay Thai in thailand when I was only 17. I picked it up real quick, I guess you could say it was something that came naturally to me. I started destroying people in muay thai fights, and then had the opportunity to step it up once my manager got a hold of me in January. Since then I havent looked back, I started learning whatever I could, things could not have gone any better. Win or lose after this fight I am going to take 1-2 months off and when I come back I will be better than you could have ever imagined. I feel like I have been fighting more than training, and that hindered my learning potential, so after this fight Im gonna grind in the gym and come back sharper.

Reporter: Awesome story Ronald. You obviously are an inteligent fighter, if you have learned to balance the worlds of training and fighting equally. Your next opponent has a sh*t load of experience. How do you plan to beat him?

McDonald: I dont want to give away my secrets, but lets be honest for a minute, the guy has been beaten plenty of times before, so yes he may have more experience getting his ass kicked than I do, but I dont see how that makes him a better fighter. I have fought over 40 professional Muay Thai fights, but Im not going to claim that it gives me an advantage. I just want to do what I do best, win or lose I go out to have fun, and to hurt people. Call me sick, I am, I dont deny it. I love blood, I love pain, I love hurting people, and I love to cut dudes up. I think I have the edge no matter where the fight go's. I know he has more skills on paper, but scissors beat paper!!! Ill cut you up m*ther f*cker!

Reporter: Calm down Ronald, no need to get crazy, the fight is not til Sunday haha.

McDonald: I don t care, thats how we do this shit in the Tycoon Hybrid Coalition, we are looking to hurt fools, hurt them bad. We all have our ups and downs, it just comes down to who can work harder to get to the top and stay there. I know I have a way to go before Im going to be a champ, Im not here to act bad ass or whatever, but I have not had it easy since I started fighting MMA. The guys I have fought have always had double the amount of fights as me, or double the amount of wins or whatever. That sh*t dont mean anything to me. I just want to hurt dudes, Like I said, I am a sick f*cker.

Reporter: I dont think anyone will question your intentions. It was a pleasure talking to you Ronald, best of luck in your fight this weekend.

McDonald: Hey I got something to say to "checkmate" Dickhead or whatever your f*ckin name is. You should be f*cking ashamed of your self for still fighting man. Your record looks worse than a blind man trying to play miniature golf. Your feeding on the bottom end of the food chain you son of a bitch, I plan on ripping you a new as*hole so you can retire without dignity. If you even have any left to begin with. 12-10-1 vs 3-1 haha, you gotta be f*cking kidding me..

Reporter: Ouch, that hurts haha. You got schooled "Checkmate". I cant wait for this one, I have a feeling we will see some blood.

McDonald: I apologize to my fans and sponsors for the smack talk, but god damn I hate this f*cker already... You dont want to see me when Im angry.

Snychronicity 134: More Damage Done PRESENT'S: "He Who Fights And Kills" Ahiga Otaktay (8-3-0) vs. Chris Mayo (11-7-0)

Otaktay is coming off his first loss since April. He lost by about 5 punches as Masahura Yakisoba got the Decision win. Otaktay showed his class in the last fight and even with a (L) he proved that he has what it takes to hang with teh big boys of the 135lb division. In his next fight, Otaktay is set to take on (11-7) Chris Mayo, managed by none other than Mike Tycoon himself. Will Otaktay have what it takes to take on MMA God Mike Tycoon's fighter? Or will he move down the ladder one L at a time? Lets ask Otaktay and see for our selves...

Reporter: Ahiga, I just wanted to say that your last fight was a balls out war. It was razor close and could have gone either way, Yakisoba just seemed to have been slightly more aggresive and that earned him the decision. How are you feeling after the loss? And how are you feeling about taking on Mayo next week?

Otaktay: Hey, good to see you again my friend, the gods are smiling upon you. The last fight was a good one, I just didnt pull of the win like I thought would have. I worked hard, just didnt execute my game plan the way I should have, and it cost me. If I would have held on to that clinch in the first rounds I could have earned the W, but I let it go, and it cost me. If we meet again somewhere down the road, I have no doubt that I can come out on top. As far as taking on Mike Tycoons fighter John Mayo, where do I begin. Mike is basically like god in this game, he knows all and sees all, he is someone we can all strive to be like. I can tell you that I am not thrilled about fighting one of his fighters, but hey you have to do what you have to do to please your bosses. I was planning on taking some personal time to improve on my game before I fought next, but this fight offer seems like a once and a life time opportunity, so win or lose I am going to go in there to win, or die trying.

Reporter: Its that warrior instinct in you that drives you... Am I right Ahiga?

Otaktay: Yes, my people believe that you take a piece of everyone you fight away with you. I have learned so much more in defeat than I have in victory, and I made an vow to my people that I would bring honor to our elders, and to my tribe. And that is what I plan to do. WE believe that if you are not living as a warrior, you are dying as a disgrace.

Reporter: In your next match up you look as though you have the advantage everywhere accept for in the JiuJitsu game, is that going to be a problem for you come fight night?

Otaktay: Jiu Jitsu has not been a problem for me ever since I lost my submission. I believed at first that my wrestling would save me from the ground, and I learned the hard way that this was just not true. I am about one session away from a purple belt right now, and I plan to be remarkable or higher across the board by the new year. Im only 21 years old, I feel like the world is in the palm of my hands, I just have to be wise enough to know when and how to take it. I promise you one thing, I will never dishonor my self like I did in the last fight, to lose by decision is worse than death. Mike Tycoon, I respect you, and I respect your fighters, but come fight night I have a job to do, for my people, and for my honor. Thanks for making an great game, but I need to destroy your fighter to prove where I stand once more.

Reporter: You have my support Ahiga, I wish you the best of luck. You deserve to come out on top. Any last words for your opponent?

Otaktay: Yes, sure, I look forward to our battle. Bring honor to your people, just as I plan to do. Here is a quote from my ancestors.. "When it comes time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home."

Synchronicity 139: Solution/Problem Presents "He Who Fights And Kills" Ahiga Otaktay (9-3-0) vs. Damion Skye (12-3-0) 9/24/2010

We last spoke with Otaktay prior to his 2 round demolition of Chris Mayo. In the Mayo fight we saw Otaktay with new and improved boxing skills, he managed to land a devastating 40+ strikes in less than 10 minutes. It was his combinations that ended up doing the most damage, I would say Otaktay's kickboxing was some of the sharpest I have seen yet in the 135lb division, he managed to avoid over 50 strikes in that bout. After that big win, Otaktay was offered the most daunting task of his career to date. Take out Damion Skye. Skye is fresh off a decision victory over Yakisoba, the last person to get the W over Otaktay. That fight left a bad taste in the mouth of Otaktay, and surely getting the W over the last man to defeat the last man who defeated him has to be another motivating factor. Skye is a brutal striker, with a who's who list of defeats. Not only has he litteraly destroyed most of his competition but he managed to get 12 of his wins in less than 45 minutes total. That is an average of less than 4 minutes a fight! Will Otaktay be able to stop Skyes hands? Or will he come up short? Lets talk to Ahiga and see what he thinks...

Reporter: Ahiga! Great to see you again my friend, your last fight was impressive. You litteraly kicked the sh*t out of Chris Mayo.

Otaktay: Thanks! Great to see you as well friend. Ya, Mayo had better hands than I would have expected, I give both him and his manager all the respect in the world. I thought I would have been able to get the W a little earlier, but better late than never. He has a good chin considering how many KO's he has in his L column.

Reporter: Better late than never indeed, Im more suprised that the fans were not more pleased with your performance... But hey, you can't please'em all, perhaps if you would have lay and prayed for 15 minutes they would have been happier.....haha! Well my friend, you now have come to the point in your career where you are breaking into the top bantamweight competition. If you manage to get this win, you may be looking at sitting in the top four bantamweights in Synchronicity. Syn now being the top org in the game, that says a lot already. Now that they are giving you tougher competition, what does that mean for you? And how do you feel about taking on the last man to defeat Yakitoba (Otaktay's last defeat, a razor close decision loss)?

Otaktay: The fans and I seem to have a love hate relationship. In all my career I have never really been given much respect, and the fans never really seem to have given me their full support. I mean, the only reason I have all this hype is from taking on some tough dudes along the way. The road to success is not an easy one. As far as all of that goes, I have worked my ass off to give them good fights, ya in my early career I had lots of opponents that were sub-spammers and I had to get the decision win in order to play it safe and get the W, bit isnt that something you can understand? Would you have rather me swing for the fences and get takendown and tapped out? MAybe so, but I would not be standing where I am today if I didn't fight smart. They will learn one day, Im not worried about them anymore, I fight for me, and for the pride of my alliance, and my people most importantly.

As far as the Damion Skye fight goes, Damion is a tough son of a bitch. I know he has what it takes to knock me out, and I have never been knocked out before. I just have learned to respect my opponents. If I have respect for my self, I must also then have respect for my opponents. If the matchmakers see the two of us as a fight worthy of making it on to the main card, then this fight is worthy of potential fight of the night. I have spent many hours reviewing tape of Skye's fights, I know he is beatable, no one is perfect. Im not, and neither is he. I know he has heart, and I know he has never been submitted or KO'd. That to me means he is a tough opponent, and that means I must become cold and go in there to take away his heart. I must not only take away his heart but take away his soul. The Yakisoba fight was a tough loss for me, I learned a lot from that fight, and to avenge my loss down the road is something that obviously sounds good to me, but even better for me would be to defeat the last man to defeat the man who defeated me. I want to prove to my self that I have what it takes to be champion one day. Im still young, Im only 21, you have only seen the beginning of my career.

Reporter: Ahiga, you sound very motivated coming into this fight. Motivation can sometimes move mountains. What is your game plan? How do you plan to defeat Skye?

Otaktay: I can't tell you my game plan, I just think he is sort of one dimmensional, I know he is older, and clearly has lots of good hidden skills, I just think that I have more tools coming into this fight, we will see. I plan to take his heart, and I plan to work harder and fight smarter than I have ever fough before. That is a promise.

Reporter: Thats why we love you Ahiga. Do you have any last words for your opponent?

Otaktay: "If there is a shadow of a doubt someplace, that will cause a weakness."

"He Who Fights And Kills" AHIGA OTAKTAY (9-4-0) will be fighting Jokke Nappula on the Syn' 148: Promise Land Exodus card in Las Vegas Saturday night. Otaktay is coming off of a dissapointing loss against Damion Skye back in September. Otaktay who I thought clearly dominated that fight lossed a tough decision most likely due to the cut he suffered during the fight. Otaktay landed 64 out of 137 strikes as to the 35 out of 103 thrown by Skye. Clearly let down by that loss, Otaktay lossed a substatial amount of fans after that loss. Which does not really make much sense considering. Ahiga now has a new test, get a win against the tough Jokke Nappula. Nappula is a well rounded fighter with a majority of his wins coming via submission or lay and pray. How will Otaktay fair against a ground fighter? His last few fights have been stand up wars, could this be the fight we have been waiting for? Lets talk to The man who fights and kills and see for our selves.

Otaktay: Great to see you again friend...

Reporter: You as well Ahiga. I have been following your career for sometime. But for the few who have not heard of you before, can you tell them about your self? First off, what does your nickname "He Who Fights And Kills" mean exactly? You have not managed to kill anyone yet..

Otaktay: I come from Apache heritage. When I reached 16 years of age, elders send me out in the world to become a man. I was trained my whole life in art of battle and combat. I learned to fight like many brave apache before me. When sent into peyote journey to become a man, I came to a Brown bear, the bear spoke to me and said " Son, you are not welcome on this land, I will slay you in front of the spirits of the trees if you do not turn back." Knowing that this was a sign from the nature spirit, I did not turn back, instead I came toward the bear and offered my apologies for the slaughter by the white man of there kind. He did not take apology however. As I returned to my people covered in blood, and wounds, they saw that behind me I dragged the carcass of the bear that attacked me. I skinned him alive that day. He came down to eat me, I used a stick to prop his mouth open. After this we faught for 10 hours, I managed to make the death blow with my knife into his stomach, I cut my way through his stomach and came out of his mouth. This was a rebirth and a transformation into a warrior of my people. That day the elders named me, Ahiga Otaktay "He who fights with much soul and kills those who oppose him".

Reporter: Wow, that is an amazing story Ahiga. At what point did you start training MMA?

Otaktay: I was offered to fight in underground cage fight at age 17. I was homeless at this point because our reservation had been taked away, and our businesses closed. I needed to make money. After beating my opponent, my now manager came to me and said he saw potential.

Reporter: I have to admit, your recent "loss" gave me a new appreciation for you as a fighter. You mixed it up with fluid combinations, and really managed to stay unpredictable. After fighting a few of the top strikers that Syn' had to offer, how do you feel when you got the offer to take on Nappula seeing as how his strength is on the ground?

Otaktay: I will fight any opponent, anytime. I was not look forward to fighting one opponent more so than any other. I personally was hoping for a rematch against any of the 2 who recently beat me so that I can get my hype back. Nappula is a well rounded fighter, Its clear that he will be trying to take me down and as you americans call it dry hump me for three rounds. But one must not forget I made the majority of my wins early on in my career against Jiu Jitsu fighters. I had no Jiu Jitsu for the early part of my career so I was an easy target, however sprawl and brawl is what I like best. So now that I have improved my ground game do not expect any easy win. As a matter of fact, I just resigned to Syn' for 4 more fights, so I suggest to any of you out there who are looking for an easy win to look elsewhere. One thing you are guaranteed when you fight Ahiga Otaktay is a war. You will not forget fighting me, this I assure you.

Reporter: It sounds like this will be a big test for you Ahiga. You need to keep your win streak alive, and you also need to prove that you are capable of fighting with the best. Did you spend extra time working on your ground game leading up to this fight?

Otaktay: I spent no more time on the ground that I usually do. I train to avoid the ground. My manager is big on removing weekness. You have probably heard it already from Ronald McDonald haha. I have hit a new level in my training, I am training to improve my ability to finish fights. I want to finish fights, that is what I train for. You have yet to see the real Ahiga Otaktay. Mark my words, I will prevail. I want to work my way back to the top of the 135 lb division and stay there.

Reporter: I have a good feeling you will do just that my friend. Any last words for your opponent?

Otaktay: No, I have nothing to say.

Reporter: Okay then, this should be interesting. Good luck Ahiga!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Im here with Ronald "The Butcher" McDonald (4-1-0) at the T.H.C. Ferocious Training Center in Los Angeles as he finishes his final week of training for his upcoming fight against Tommy Gun. We last saw "The Butcher" when he took on the much more experienced Gabriel Dickson back in August. McDonald destroyed the more experienced fighter and nearly finished him in the first round. When the second round started Ronald knocked Dickson silly with a head kick that left the fans gasping and saying to them selves "Is he okay".... Lets take some time to get to know the man known as "The Butcher" or as I like to call him Ron-Don.

Blow Joegan: (sniiiiiiffff) Oh hey ya, Ron-Don, yo whats up my main man? You look like your ready to Parrrrrtttttaaayyyy!!! So Ron Don, the Butcher, Ronald McDonaldorino, the Butchermeister.... Tell us you won big in your last fight. Why did you decide to take time off after your last win?

McDonald: Blow, calm down guy. The vains in your head are ready to explode, lay off the cocaine. Uh, ya. Well I f*cked that dude up. I talked smack coming in cuz I knew that scumbag thought I would be an easy win, I had 4 fights to my credit and he had like 14, so I didnt like him right off the bat. So I f*cked him up, just like he deserved. Cut him up, hurt him and kicked him in the head so hard that I still have the impression of one of his ears on my shin. F*ck that jackass. Oh ya, what was it your coked out ass asked me? Oh ya, why did I take time off? Welllll I had a loss on my record. I think that anytime you lose your supposed to focus on eliminating weekness so that your strengths can be executed. And so I spend months working on my ground game, Im not even close to where I want to be, so I focused on that big time. No weekness. I also added some new tools to my game, which you will get a chance to see on Saturday night. Fighting for Syn is big time, and if I am going to be fighting big time I want to be winning big time. So thats what I plan to do.

Blow: (sniiiiiiiiifffff, sniiiiffffff) Woooohhhhiiiee!! Wow, your one crazy mo-f*cka dog! I mean craaaaaaazzzzziiiee! So your next opponent, Tommy Gun. That guy is an exceptional wrestler.... He does not have the best stand up, but damn how do you plan to get past him?

McDonald: I swear to god, if you keep doing that shit your going to have a heart attack man. Chill the f*ck out! Seriously... God damn! Quayshann Bonner Tommy's manager is highly respected by my manager. Brandon Comte and my manager are buddies, and that dude is buddies with Comte, so Im supposed to bite my tounge a little more that I usually like to... So Ill stick to business. Ya Tommy is a beast man, I know what is game plan will be, I have plenty of good wrestlers in my managers stable, so I know what he brings to the table. This will be a real test, no doubt about it. I spent a few months working my ground game, and of course the first offer I get is to take on the dude with the best ground game. And of course I accepted, he has lots of hype behind him, and If I am as well trained as my team thinks I am I should be able to pull of the win in decisive fashion. I realize this is my last fight under contract with Syn so I want to go out with a bang, win or lose I am going out there and fighting with my heart like I always do. May the best man win.

Blow: Oh my god, I got a nose bleed.... Oh ya, woooooh! So Ron Don showing respect for his opponents, this could get interesting. Any last words for Tommy before the fight?

McDonald: Sure, Tommy I think you are tough, you seem to be the perfect test for me. Will I move forward, or will you. I guess it all comes down to who wants it more. I am ready to make you bleed, Im sure your ready to make me bleed. And that means we have what it takes to make fight of the night. Do or die.

Blow: If you win I am buying you 3 hookers, an ounce of blow and drinks are on me all night! Fuck ya Rock And Roll!!!! Shit, I think my heart stopped.....

Ahiga Otaktay (11-4-0) is currently ranked number 96 in the bantamweight division. At only 22 years of age, Otaktay has managed to take on some of the toughest talent that MMA's #1 ranked orginazation Synchronicity could offer. Otaktay has faced a who's who list of top competitors, and since his debut for Syn back in July has only been handed a loss twice. The first against Masahura Yakisoba (the former DMC bantamweight champion) where he lost a razor close decision back in August, and Damion Skye (Former DFC bantamweight champion) back in November. That fight was also a tough decision loss, as Otaktay and his team thought he clearly took that fight as he landed 61 strikes to Skye's 36. It must have been the cut that swayed the judges vote for Skye. Since his last loss Otaktay has managed to put together two more wins over tough contenders. In his recent fight, and what I would say is the best performance of his young career, Ahiga was matched up against Mala Ika (Synchronicity's former bantamweight champion), Ika has defeated both Yakisoba and Skye in title defenses. When Otaktay and Ika met it was sure to be a war. Ahiga has not had any easy fights, and this fight was not to be an exception. Otaktay put the hurt on Ika early landing some brutal kicks to the body and legs, and fluidly landed hard leather to the body and face of Ika in the first round. The second round began and early on Otaktay landed a brutal head kick that sent Ika to the mat. Ika has never been TKO'd in his long career and managed to pull it together long enough to survive the fight, and recieve over two weeks (about a month in real lofe) of injuries from the fight, Ahiga was back in the gym the following week.

Now that Ahiga has managed to take out a former champion in impressive fashion, what is next for him you ask? The german TKO machine Wendell Diefendorf (14-5-1) the dangerous former Synchronicity champion ! Man oh man, no easy breaks for Otaktay. Diefendorf is a boxer with great clinchwork and a solid wrestling game... Who will win in this battle of the stikers? I had the time to hang out with Ahiga as he finished a training session over at the THC Ferocious Training Center in Los Angeles, and man did he look razor sharp! Im not sure but it looks like his whole game might have improved since his fight Christmas day. When I arrived at the training center Otaktay was in a intense sparring session with Syn's own Ronald "The Butcher" McDonald. McDonald is currently about to be awarded the honor of being ranked as sensational in his muay thai game and is also at least 25lbs heavier than Ahiga. These two were in an intense clinchwork sparring session where they were taking turns delivering heavy knees on one another and then seperating and starting over again. Otaktay has some power, he actually connected with a brutal knee straight up the middle that nearly broke McDonalds nose. Blood splattered everywhere and McDonald called time out... Wow, brutal...

Reporter: Ahiga, that was ferocious buddy. Have you been working on your muay thai since the last time we saw you?

Otaktay: Hello friend, yes, before my last fight I worked hard on improving my wrestling and muay thai, fortunately for Ika I didnt master those skills and a few others in time. Well, bad news for Diefendort I guess, I earned the rank of remarkable in my wrestling, and also wonderful in muay thai. I added a few more skills to my repetoire but you will have to wait and see for your self.

Reporter: Yikes, you destroyed the former champion (Ika) in the last fight, that had to feel good. If you added any more skills to your game I would be concerned if I was fighting you. Diefendorf is actually 6 years older than you and has been fighting for a few years longer than you have. Do you think that his experience will make the difference in this fight?

Otaktay: No, I dont. He has only fought 5 more fights than I have. From what I can tell he started fighting at an older age than I did. I have learned a hell of a lot in the last 4 years. I know for a fact that I still have at least 6-7 more years of good fighting left in me. I managed to get some solid boxing when all I used to have was a little bit of Muay Thai, I managed to up my muay thai to a whole new level, I managed to get my wrestling the best it has ever been, my ground game is solid as hell if you want to take your chances trying to put me there. I used to have NO ground game. Things changed fast. I plan to be exceptional in every area but Jiu Jitsu by the time I am 24, but I am working on a brown belt as we speak. Who knows, you might even see me submit someone in the near future.

Reporter: It sound to me like you are well prepared for wherever this fight, or any fight in the future for that matter will take you. What do you see as Wendels biggest threat to you?

Otaktay: I dont see him as a threat in anyway really. Im not trying to say that I dont think he could beat, me, maybe he can. Im just saying that not one area of his game really strikes fear into my heart. I think he has good clinchwork, but again, Im not concerned. I have been working on my clinchwork for years. Ika thought he could rape me in the clinch and it turns out he couldnt keep me in his clinch long enough to land more than one shot. We all know that Ika has a good clinch, so what happened? I did my research, my manager and I came up with a good game plan and I think I should have a decent chance at earning my self a title shot this year. But first I need to win against Deifendork. He has not lost to anyone but the top dogs so I know he is going to bring out nothing but the best in me. I want to keep my win streak alive, so that means I need to make him end up dead to move forward.

Reporter: I know I say this all the time, but I honestly cannot f*cking wait for this fight. I hope your retire him and earn your self a shot against the 20-0 powerhouse Heikan Ekaku. I dont think I can think of anyone who would give him a run for his money like you could. Your stats should match up against his stats evenly within the year. Just keep adding those W's to your resume, win lose or draw I have a feeling you will end up one of the top ranked fighters in the world in the not so distant future.

Otaktay: Thanks, you have a kind soul for a white man. For those of you who want to check it out I will be fighting on the Syn' 158: Dawn of Anarchy fight card on January the 30th. Thanks for the support!

Reporter: Im sure your popularity and ranking should go up after this one. Best of luck Ahiga. Any last words for your opponent?

Otaktay: I hope you have prepared for this fight and come in 100% rested and uninjured, because after the fight is over I want to be able to look at your profile and see 2-3 weeks of injury and know that you will never forget me. I want to face another former champ and destroy him just like I did Ika. I want to to retire you!

Synchronicity Presents Syn' 160: Sober Convicts AHIGA OTAKTAY vs. JOHNNY DAVIS

If you were to look at Ahiga Otaktay, you would not be able to tell that less than 2 weeks ago he had fought and lossed a 3 round war. Otaktay must be cut from the same kind of cloth that mythological gods were crafted from. Since entering Syn. back in July of 2010 Otaktay has managed to enter the cage 7 times walking away with 4 wins to his credit. The bantamweight division for Synchronicity has some of the toughtest fighters that MMA tycoon has to offer, during Otaktays 7 fights for Syn Ahiga managed to take on a whos who list of top competitors, facing the likes of Mala Ika, Wendell Diefendorf, Damien Skye, Masahura Yakisoba and the list gos on, and then it gos on some more. Like I said Otaktay has managed to live up to god like status with his unbeatable chin and whirlwind of violence that creates. The opponents who have faced him will all tell you, Otaktay is not cut from the same cloth as your average human. And for only 22 years of age his future looks bright and promising. Fresh off of a frustrating loss to Wendell Deifendorf, Ahiga is surely looking to make a statement, and with the news that this will be Otaktays lass performance in the cage for Syn., it has to be an important night.

Hello AHIGA, my name is MAKKITOTSIMEW OSMAWAKTAY, the white mans version of my name is woman with large breasts and fighting heart. It is a pleasure to meet you, you are a hero in the native american world... You can just call me Tits thats wha everyone else calls me..

Otaktay: A woman after my heart, I think I am in love. Its a pleasure to meet your tits.

Tits: Hahha, your funny Ahiga.

Otaktay: I ment, its nice to meet you and your Tits Tits..Damn, I have not seen suck a beautiful indian woman since the night of the massacre..

Tits: What massacre?

Otaktay: The one at the bar, I was the only survivor, all the men women and children were all killed.... I was lucky enough to live, now I fight for the honor of my people, spreading smallpox one fight at a time....

Tits: Oh my, blessed be the coyote spirit! Ahiga, I was at the bar that night, I left right before the massacre to go to work at the strip club and right as I left I heard the screams.... I thought I was alone this whole time...

Otaktay: Praise the gods, I am not alone... This day is I am reborn for my people,I will make love to you under the full moon and we shall concieve little Otaktays!

Tits: Ahiga, Im flattered. Lets get you to your fight tonight first, then we can talk about you stuffing my wigwam... Lets talk business for a bit, I have been following your career for a few years and I have been dying to ask you a few questions...

For starters, what happened in your last fight?

Otaktay: Your name is true, you do have nice big breasts, and your heart is indeed brave... Very brave. So I will answer you truthfully. I had a bad peyote trip before the fight, the omens were not right. I spoke to the medicine crow and he told me to search for my spirit animal. The spirit animal that came confused me, my spirit animal was a spider monkey. I tried to understand what this ment but my mind could not comprehend the powers of the spider monkey. I tried to fight with my inner spirit animal and it came out like chimp style, I spent some time working on it and now I feel like I am ready to unleash my inner spider monkey, finally you will see the real Ahiga Otaktay.

Tits: That pretty interesting, not what I expected, hahahaha. Have you been eating extra bananas or anything like that? Haha, I really hope that you monkey can spank Johnny Davis tonight. Your looking extra ripped these days... Sorry, your sexy indian eyes distracted me for a second. Haha, okay soooo Johnny Davis has a solid ground game, what can you tell us about his fight style?

Otaktay:[/b] I eat lots of bananas, they help feed my inner spirit animal, thats how I got in such good shape, extra conditioning and lots of bananas hahah... Johhny Davis likes to keep it simple on the feet, likes to work the jab using that height and reach advantage to keep opponents of balance setting up his takedowns. He does not seem to have much of a clinch game, so he is straight forward with his attack, on the ground he has a decent wrestling game and a good base so he will look to set up some ground and pound as thats his bread and butter. What I wanna do is take the bread off the table, say fuck the butter, and feed him up an ass kicking loaded with bananas. Im gonna set the pace of the fight and try to frustrate him, I think I would say I have a good chance on the feet, I know that he will be looking to take me down and grind out a win, so Im just not going to let that happen.

Tits: How about if you dont let him take you down and grind out a win, Ill let you take me down and grind it out after the fight?

Otaktay: I would say that tomorrow I wont be the only one who will be needing an ice pack if you know what I mean.. Hahahaha Your teepee is going to get re-decorated haha.

Tits: Your making me hotter than a indian casino with no air conditioning. Seems like you are ready to kick some ass huh big guy? So tell us about why your leaving Syn...

Otaktay: Oh Tits... Well, I love Syn., I love everything about it, I think its the best org in the game hands down... the best writers, matchmakers, competition and of course owner. The only problem is that I have spilled gallons of my own blood, and that of my opponents for the fans, and I have not earned any respect. It is time for me to go elsewhere and earn the respect of the fans and come back when I can take out the best fighters in the game. I want to be able to put on the best performances, because this is the best org, with the best fans, and the best fighters, so I need to be the best in order to beat the best. And until I feel like I am ready to be the best, I will start my killing spree in the cage elsewhere. Synchornicity has not seen the last of Ahiga Otaktay, the promise has been made ot Avon and the boys that I will return, better than ever and ready to beat the best fighters in the world!

Tits: Well, Ahiga good luck. Ill be cageside watching the fight, and I will also buy you a drink if you win, forget that, Ill buy you a bottle and meet you in your room win or lose. Kick Ass Otaktay, we all love you. Fight with the warrior strength of your people, and let your inner spirit animal free. Spill his blood for the fans, and show them what your made of. Show them what gods are made of Ahiga, claim your right to the top ranked bantamwieght in Los Angeles, and avenge the massacre on our people buy spilling his blood tonight. Drnk his blood without fear and celebrate and rejoice in his blood, this is what you were born to do. Win Ahiga, win...

Megatron, the greatest physical wonder ever in the country of Costa Rica's history has just signed with Syn. At only 22 years old, Domenic Maddox looks to establish himself quick, despite his inexperience in the octagon. Possessing deadly KO power, a lethal arsenal of kicks and punches, and quickness that will shake spines, the skies the limit for this caribbean wonder.

August 7th, Live from the MMA Grand in Las Vegas Nevada, SynCity Promotions present Syn' 247: The Package

Greetings everyone and welcome to Syn’ 247: The Package. This event will be our companies first of many Wednesday night ventures into the MMA Grand where we expect to see close to 17, 157 excited fight fans take in the action along with many hundreds of thousands doing the same from the comfort of their own homes. Like always our show tonight is brought to you by our Merchandise Partner Reaper Combatwear. First off we have our Prelim fights where many young and old fighters alike look to make a name for themselves and work their way onto our Main Card, here is a list of those who will be appearing in action.

Preliminary Matchups

205 lbs Hildebrand G.W. Blackwood vs Yama Mama

185 lbs Sergei Kravinoff vs Doc Holliday

185 lbs Eric Britt vs Johnny Storm

135 lbs Brian Peppers vs Mitsuyo Maeda BW Title Fight

265 lbs Jayden Ray vs Thorbjorn Rekdal

Main Card

135 lbs Kyle Le Blanc vs Frankie Pep

In what could possible determine the number one contender and the next opponent for tonight’s BW Title fight winner sees a pair of cage veterans do battle. Le Blanc comes into this fight riding a more then impressive 7 fight win streak including one in his debut within the Syn Banner. Pep on the other hand is also on a win streak albeit a less impressive 3 fight streak and is also 1-0 in his career with Syn. Le Blanc and Pep have very similar backgrounds and also skill sets however Pep has the decided size advantage holding an 8.1 lbs advantage. Both fighters are excited for this showdown and when speaking with him during their training camps they are both looking for a big finish as they want to get in on the money being offered around by company owner Louie DePalma. I say let them go for it as the more exciting the fight is, the better, but my money is on a Le Blanc Decision victory.

185 lbs Sepp Maier vs Matt Sabre

This matchup sees two newcomers to Synchronicity make their debuts. Maier comes into this one on a one fight losing streak after Steel Penn ICON in London went silent while Sabre comes to Syn following 4 wins in 6 fights with legendary Fight Company CFC in Montreal. When you look at this fight on paper Maier holds a distinct advantage on the ground while Sabre is a KO artist but when you dig deeper, you see a flaw in that thinking as Sabre has not once been subbed in 54 trips into the cage while on the other side of the coin Maier has seen himself go to sleep by way of the fists on 8 occasions. Sabre holds a slight reach advantage but we believe Maier will try and use his small weight advantage against Sabre to wear him down and finally pop his sub cherry, too bad for Maier as I see him completing the opposite as he will drain himself of his own energy in his attempts leading to what could be a KO of the night contender!

170 lbs Barry Allen C vs Stephoune FatherWW Title Fight

In our second title fight of the evening recently crowned Welterweight Champ Allen faces Father who is making is long awaited debut with Syn. Allen has won 3 of his past 4 fights including what some may say was an upset victory in his debut over former Champ Ben Stone, but I am sure his camp won’t agree with you meanwhile Father came over in the UPG NY merger and is riding a 5 fight win streak and is more hungry then ever after sitting idle since late in May. When you look at these two warriors on paper they are very equal on the ground however Allen holds a decisive advantage in MT which I fully expect he will use this advantage to expose Father and end this fight early. I just do not see Father being given the chance in this one to utilize his slight BJJ advantage and am sorry to say it will likely be lights out within the 1st round and another impressive victory for Allen.

155 lbs Stephen Hawking vs Boris CekadaLW Title Fight

Our Co Main Event of the evening see’s Synchronicity’s first Lightweight Title Fight take place since Hakuin Ekaku and Billy Dressler fought to a draw back at Syn’ 240: New Years Eve. Hawking and Cekada are both riding 2 fight win streaks and both have close to 50 career fights under their belts. Hawking is making his debut tonight after coming over from Steel Penn ICON’s London Org where he had 4 wins in 6 trips to the cage. Meanwhile Cekada makes his debut in Syn following a long stay with IMMA in Helsinki where he failed in his 2 attempts to win gold. Cekada won’t let those 2 past failures deter him as he is clearly the favorite on paper in this one as he is either the stronger fighter in all disciplines other then Wrestling where they are equal. Hawking looks for the KO in the majority of his fights holding an amazing 26 KO victories to his credit however Cekada is extremely proud of the fact he has never once fallen prey to the knockout. Cekada’s well balanced attack will prove to be too much in my opinion as he will ride his talents to victory and Championship Gold in this one.

205 lbs Jack Turnbull vs Johnnie Stalker

Now it’s time for our Main Event of the evening!! This battle in the Light Heavyweight division sees young KO specialist Jack Turnbull face off against veteran Johnny Stalker. Turnbull comes into action riding a 7 fight win streak where he has won by way of Submission Strikes, TKO or KO in all 7 encounters. Meanwhile the crafty Stalker who is also a KO artiste has had a slightly less than impressive road to this battle yet we won’t take anything away from Stalker as he comes in after winning 5 of his past 7 fights also by way of TKO/KO with one Decision victory mixed in. Both warriors won their debut fights with Syn and are looking to carry on that success in tonight’s Main Event. Stalker holds a slight reach advantage while both fighters are almost identical in weight. When you look at this fight on paper it looks like a complete mismatch as Stalkers skill set towers over Turnbulls however many a man has found out the hard way that looks can be very much deceiver because when Turnbull lays fist to face, most go to sleep. This one is just too close to call folks, so I won’t predict a winner however if you want to, make your way down to Syn’ Betz http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=8050 and place your money on your favorite Syn fighters!!

Once again I would like to thank our sponsor for tonight’s show Reaper Combat Wear and hope to see you in attendance as Syn continues its strong return to the Fight Game!! Enjoy our fights and we will see you next at Syn’ 248 where our HW division takes center stage!!

August 9th, Live from the MMA Grand in Las Vegas Nevada, SynCity Promotions present Syn' 248: 2 FACED

Greetings everyone and welcome once again as we present to you Syn’ 248: 2 FACED. Tonight’s event will be a great follow up to this past Wednesday’s show which garnered the company an Event Rating of 536.98 as 16,522 adoring fans made their way into the MMA Grand and another 128,336 fans watched from the comfort of their own homes live on PPV. Like always our show tonight is brought to you by our Merchandise Partner Reaper Combatwear. Here is a list of those who will be appearing in action in our Prelims.

Preliminary Matchups

205 lbs Division Mike McKinley v Iosef Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili

265 lbs Division Rob Sparger v Jacques Deupreaux

155 lbs Division Takanori Gomi v Hachiro Matsui

170 lbs Division Marco North v Cliff Harris

265 lbs Division Konstantin Magomedov v Stash Kadowski

And now onto our Main Card of exciting action

205 lbs Division Michael Corleone v Logan Sackett

Beginning the action on our Main card tonight is a Light Heavyweight matchup between Michael Corleone and Logan Sackett. Both of these veteran warriors come into action tonight looking to find their way back to the winning side of the equation as Corleone is currently riding a 2 fight losing streak while Sackett lost his last matchup. This tussle boasts 2 fighters who are almost identical in appearance as long as you look the other way when comparing their Boxing abilities with Sackett clearly holding the advantage in that department. Corleone is mainly a Muay Thai fighter showing very little interest in throwing any punches leaving his legs to do his talking for him while Sackett likes to be more diverse and spread out his offence allowing him to be more unpredictable. Both of these combatants like to bang as the 26 KO victories between them will attest and they have both shown that they are open to being KO'd which is what I predict will take place in this one. Corleone lost a brutal war against recently crowned Syn LHW Champ Christian Nolan in this companies return to prominence back at Syn' 241: Backspace when he was forced to tap out due to strikes. Meanwhile Sackett appeared the following night at Syn' 242: Recovery and had that fight stopped early in round 1 by way of TKO Strikes. Both these fighters want to avoid another L on their record and will look to show Syn Management they are here to stay.

265 lbs Division Yedo Kim v Walter Kurtz

Next up in the Heavyweight Division we see a matchup between 2 monsters as Yedo Kim takes on Walter Kurtz. Like our previous matchup both fighters come into this one on losing streaks. Yedo is making his Syn debut tonight following the closure of ONI in Tokyo and word has it his manager has been pushing him real hard to make a good first impression in his new home. Staring Kim down from the other side of the cage is former UPG NY HW Walter Kurtz and much like Kim he will stop at nothing to avoid a second consecutive loss in this one. Yedo Kim holds an overwhelming Height and reach advantage in this one and also almost 30 lbs over Kurtz however the question remains will that really be an advantage or will it pose as the opposite? Both fighter possess outstanding standup skills as Kurtz has won all 11 of his career Pro fights by way of TKO or KO but what is even more impressive is Yedo's 25 TKO/KO's in his 29 career wins. Kim shows the ability to mix things up and has shown a decent defensive game when on the ground but we don’t expect to see this one end up there as neither Kurtz or Kim have shown much interest in that aspect of the fight during the lead up to this one. Kurtz is the young gun looking to take out the cagey veteran, but will his abilities continue to do so, stay tuned to find out!

265 lbs Division Devin Styles v DeAngelo Kenner

Staying in the HW Division we have a 5 round matchup between Devin Styles and DeAngelo Kenner. Why 5 rounds some might ask, well when contacted via email on the topic Synchronicity Owner Louie DePalma had very little to say in reply, however when contacted later in the evening by a front office intern word leaked out that the fight was booked while owner Louie was in the middle of a drunken bender and must have been asleep at the wheel and folks there is no changing it now. Now that that is out of the way let’s get back to the fight itself as we see our first main card battle take place between 2 fighters coming off wins in their last fights as Styles had an impressive debut with the company at Syn' 244: Road Block causing a doctors stoppage against Ethan Clayton which was his 3rd consecutive victory meanwhile Kenner won by way of TKO on the same night taking out Roger Freedman. Both these behemoths want to cement their place in the HW rankings and take one step closer to hopefully one day challenging and ultimately wearing the Syn HW Championship. Kenner holds a slight edge in both Muay Thai and Wrestling and appears to enjoy battling on the ground with his 2 Submission victories scattered in to compliment his 13 TKO/KO wins while Styles is no stranger to the KO world as his records shows 12 victories as well by way of TKO/KO. This one has the makings of KO of the night, or perhaps Kenner will even try and sneak in a Sub victory when Styles isn’t looking!

265 lbs Division Evander Holyshit v Autumn Hunter

We are now ready for our Co Main Event of the evening that sees a rematch of the Main Event of Syn 244: Roadblock between Evander Holyshit and Autumn Hunter. In that epic battle these 2 warriors slugged out a 3 round draw that sent the HW Division into Chaos knowing that Champion Budo Rei was soon to return. That matchup saw all three judges score the fight exactly the same, 28-28 as Holyshit held the advantage on the ground while Hunter was the more dominant stand up fighter, but that all added up to nothing but a kiss your sister on the lips draw. Both fighters will surely look to expose the advantage they held in their previous meeting but only time will tell who will be the more dominant fighter in their attempts to impose their will on the foe facing them from the other side of the cage. Word out of Holyshits camp recently is they are more then alittle frustrated with the judging in past Syn’ events as Manager shortfuse_nWo has now had 2 of his fighters battle to draws in recent weeks. I am sure the mood is very much the same in Hunters camp as like Holyshit, he wants to show he belongs at the top end of Syn’s talented HW Division. There is more than just pride and a chance at redemption riding on this one, as both fighters are vying for a shot at the winner of tonight’s Main Event and the Syn HW Crown. This Stacked card will surely see the landscape on the Heavyweight division take a more clear shape and we are to say the least quite excited at the possibilities.

265 lbs Division Budo Rei v Jobe Nkemakolam 265 lbs title

And now it is the time we have all been waiting for as 2 former Empire standouts make their way into the legendary cage of Synchronicity. Current Syn Champ Budo Rei is making his return the company for the first time since earning a Decision victory over Theo AtlaSon at Syn' 240 New Years Eve. Jobe and his management team meanwhile decided following EMP 52 they wanted a chance to avenge a loss to Budo back at Emp 37 and jumped at the chance to join the Syn roster with the impending closure/merger with IMMA in what is now known as Evolution. Following that loss Jobe has gone 3-1 while Rei is currently riding a 3 fight win streak and is excited at the chance to defend his Crown. Rei is the slighter smaller fighter in this one giving up roughly 15 lbs and a slight reach advantage however that will not stop him from coming out blazing looking to add to his career total of 16 TKO/KO victories. Jobe on the other hand holds an equally impressive 20 TKO/KO victories to his credit and both these fighters tend to leave it all in the cage as they have both shown signs in the past of being open to the KO themselves. We are sure to see fireworks in this battle and we fully expect the top end of this event could be the driving force behind Syn's best Rating and PPV Sales results since their monument us return back in early July!

Once again I would like to thank our sponsor for tonight’s show Reaper Combat Wear and hope to see you in attendance as Syn continues its strong return to the Fight Game!! Enjoy our fights and we will see you next at Syn’ 249.

Syn' 251: Bug Eyed

Hello, possums! Yes, it is I, the most venerable «Salad» Mañuel Tosèn, winner of the prestigeous 2012 Tycoon «Writer of the Year» award, also known as the «Pullitzer Prize of Dick Jokes», over legitimate entrants such as K Rad and Chris Karter, much to the dismay of hacks like Valygar Corthala. As you may have figured out by now, I like run-on sentences. A lot.

Anyways, my «friend» Louie, being barely literate himself, asked me to do some writing for him in his new playpen, Synchronicity. I won't lie, I was reluctant to do so at first, but the dump truck full of hard cash and hard, muscly men eager to please most certainly helped.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/14/14b7.jpg

*not pictured: the five gallons of baby oil he was covered in*

So here I am, employed and unhappy, ready to write about another mediocre card being put on by a faded organization that's desperately trying to claw their way back to relevance at some time back in the 80s. Synchronicity is the Madonna of MMA organizations.

I am not entirely sure why the event is named «Bug Eyed», but there you go. Nothing on this card to go «Bug Eyed about», anyways. The title should be «Turning Japanese» if it really had to stick with the eye metaphors, seeing as it's all a load of wank anyways.

Let's just get this over with, shall we?

Bland, Uinteresting Match #5:

Kicking off this shambling corpse is a showdown between the cowardly Shane Ripgut and the stupidly named Morpheus Vulcan. The only reason I'm even talking about this match is that Louie explicitly asked me to mention his «Openweight Tourney Semi-finals», like that actually means anything. As I told Louie, «openweight deez nutz».

Shane Ripgut «won» his first tournament matchup against a natural featherweight, by sucker punching Pepe «Skid 2.0» Torres during a bro-hug in the middle of the octagon. It looked like a bear pawing one of its handlers through a circus tent, only more senseless and brutal. Touted as a «high level striker», I personally only find his lack of manners to be very «striking» at all. He fights for a grown man calling himself «J Bomb 666», which I too thought was the coolest nickname when I was 12 years old.

His opponent, Morpheus Vulcan, claims that he was born in a cave on Mt. Olympus. My sources, however, tell me that he was born in a barn near Nashville instead. I am not sure why his parents decided to name him «morpheus vulcan», but the fact of the matter is that he goes by that. I hate him.

The most memorable moment of mr. «Vulcan»'s career came when he dived for nearly a dozen takedowns in less than a minute (I am not even exaggarating here) against some Brazilian turd, before getting gently punched in the face and put to sleep IN ONE SHOT. Ripgut has shown the hand-eye coordination to hit a man the size of a malnourished child in the face before, so I think he can land on Vulcan as well.

Prediction: Shane Ripgut, KO

Bland, Uninteresting Match #4:

The second semi-final is between two men so boring I'm not even gonna write two paragraphs on it: Stu Mercer will probably come in looking to wrestle, though he has showcased a thoroughly unimpressive boxing game before as well. Dieter Kolzig is a rehabilitated skinhead whose martial arts training amounts to punching women in burkas on the bus.

Prediction: Mercer, KO

Bland, Uninteresting Match #3:

Next up we have a clash between two journeymen in Thug Behram and Tane Thompson.

Behram holds the dubious honor of being the whitest Indian man alive, and is managed by a man who's legendary in all of Tycoondom for being a scumbag of the lowest order: Mr. Jax Rostenkowski. Other than that there isn't really a whole lot to say. He's very boring to watch and appears to dye his hair, I guess. Do something about those roots, sir, you look ridiculous.

Thompson holds the experience advantage on paper, but seeing as he's been asleep for most of those «extra» fights that doesn't really count. He's fought for way longer than he should, and is probably a future CTE research gold mine. His birth name is actually Thaddeus Wilhelm III, but he's too punchy to remember anything but «Tane».

Prediction: Behram, TKO.

Bland, Uninteresting Match #2:

Mayuri Tatsuki versus Mike Tyson?!?!?! Mike freaking Tyson?

Turns out this isn't actually the real «Iron» Mike, but some midget who legally changed his name in a pathetic attempt to make people care about his fights. Sorry bub, it didn't work.

Tatsuki goes by the tasteless nickname «The Kamikaze Pilot», and after watching some tape on him I found myself wishing he'd crash his plane into the Pacific, or maybe even launch himself into the sun. He's not very exciting, and once got outwrestled by a man named R. Kelly. Look it up.

Also, what's up with his hair? While he gets brownie points for not having some kind of 'hawk like almost every other asshole on this card, it looks like he dumped an entire box of hair gel onto his forehead and then shaped his hair like a rhinoceros' horn. I guess I've heard that rhinoceros horns are great aphrodisiacs, but I don't think that's quite how it works.

Picking this fight is fairly easy, seeing as Tatsuki has already almost lost a cage fight to a celebrity impersonator.

Prediction: Mike Tyson, Decision.

Bland, Uninteresting Match #1:

This fight marks a paradigm shift on this card. Not because it's good or relevant in any way, but because Bobby Dettman is the first man on this card rocking some kind of fucking 'hawk hairdo. Words cannot describe how much I hate those things. God damn it, now I'm all upset. Anyways, Dettman is clearly a chav and probably has a Fiat tattooed on his penis or something.

He's fighting Bucky The Badger. Now, I like to think I'm a pretty tolerant person, but I refuse to write another word about a man named Bucky the fucking Badger.

Prediction: Bobby Dettman, Decision.

Finally we can move away from the dredgs of the undercard and look at the actual featured fights. They should at least be watchable. Right? Right? Think again.

Featured Fight #1:

Matt Sabre, the self-proclaimed «Bum», is fighting a former NFC champion. That should be horrible for him, if not for the fact that the NFC was an incestuous, rigged organization run by a group of alcoholics looking for ways to inflate their hype. Kalle Reinikainen is the poster child of why NFC was such a joke, having shown an ability to fold under pressure that would make Bob Sapp pop a semi.

While Kalle should have a marginal advantage in terms of skills and experience, Sabre has an advantage in the two areas that count: Tan and haircut. Reinikainen hails from a country without sun, and it's clearly holding him back as a fighter. He also sports the second fauxhawk of the evening, making him literally worse than Hitler. The cherry on top of the shit sundae is that he's managed by my mortal enemy and noted mean jerk, Opa Jokinen.

Prediction: Matt Sabre, TKO.

Featured Fight #2:

Another novelty matchup is up next, as Davide Michieletto takes on Dean Martin.

Dean Martin is approximately a 100 years old, horribly fat, and I was pretty sure he had been dead for 20 years until I saw that he was fighting on this card. Martin is a grappler through and through, and when asked, told me that he thinks «Striking» is a town in Vermont.

Michieletto is European, and fighting a wrestler. This would generally be a prediction in itself. Michieletto is also very fat, and managed by a friend of Tycoon's own village idiot, AJ Perok. Did he quit or something? Who cares?

Michieletto most recently lost to a novelty fighter in Djoser Rei, and based on his other fights I'm pretty sure this particular bowl full of jelly is physically incapable of kicking above his waist. What I'm trying to say is that they're both very fat and very bad.

During this fight there'll be over 550 lbs of lard in the cage at the same time. You say potential barn burner? I say definite toilet break.

Prediction:Michieletto, TKO.

Featured Fight #1:

Finally, time for the name fighters, as legendary disappointment Evander Holyshit takes on «Who?» Daniel Silva (referred to as Danny Boy from now on).

Evander Holyshit suffers from the horrible curse trifecta: He has a stupid name, a crappy chin, and he's managed by our good friend Shortfuse. According to his fighter bio, the man to blame for all these things is (who else?) Don King. Yes, he's friends with Don King. Holy shit, indeed.

Either way, let me regale you with a history about Holyshit: Back when he fought for Eminence in London, he seemed to be on the fast track to a mugging ass whipping title shot against the Greatest Fighter Ever and all-around cool guy Jan Paulsen. In order to avoid this and spare his adopted, Senegalese orphans/child laborers the embarassment of watching their daddy/sweat shop owner get brutally knocked out by 270 lbs of rippling muscle and purple mohawk, he purposedly dropped two decisions in a row. It was painfully obvious that he lost those fights on purpose: Holyshit doesn't really lose decisions, he gets savagely knocked out instead.

Also, Evander is very fond of talking about his sob story about how he as a «troubled youth» got into boxing. Boo fucking hoo, get in line. If I hear one more of those stories I swear on my mother that I'll personally burn an orphanage to the ground and piss on the still-smoldering cinders.

His opponent, Danny Boy, is another 'hawk kind of guy. Like Holyshit, he's also another chinless wonder, cursed with a manager who is too dense to take him out behind the proverbial barn and give him the kiss of mercy. Another thing I've noticed about Danny Boy is that he never throws any kicks, preferring instead to flail his fists in the general direction of his opponents. While he might not have a dumb name in itself, he has a terrible nickname in «The Brazilian Psycho». He's the exact kind of opponent that Holyshit thrives on, and I see this ending very badly for him.

Prediction: Holyshit, KO.

Co-main Event:

The co-main event is, as you'd suspect, an immediate rematch after a rather bland and uneventful first match between Jack Turnbull and Johnnie Stalker.

Turnbull is another Shortfuse fighter, and honestly looks quite good. He's fairly young, has solid striking, and is not above lying motionless on top of another man if the situation calls for it. My kind of fighter, in other words! His career highlight is punching out chemtrails and killer whale enthusiast Joe Rogan. Turnbull appears to be balding, his once magnificent mane creeping slowly towards his back like a poorly attached wall-to-wall rug.

Johnnie Stalker is a Welshman fighting out of a New Zealander camp, so the proper thing to do here would be making tons of sheep shagging jokes at his expense. Being a gentleman, however, I'm abaaaaaaave all that, as the situation might turn a bit sticky if I do. I won't pull wool over your eyes, though: Stalker is in the Ewe of his career, and he needs to make it count (sheep... ahem) if he wants one last crack at greatness. The only evidence you'll ever need for this is his graying hair and his last, desperate attempt at clinging to his youth by growing a soul patch. He's also looked very sheepish in defeat lately. If Stalker loses this fight, which I think he will, he might have to go graze on the Bahamas instead.

Prediction: Jack Turnbull, Decision.

Main Event:

Once I finish writing about this squash match, I'm spending all of my hard-earned writers' money on cheap women and expensive Scotch. A man that might object to me buying Scotch instead of Irish whiskey, though, is main event fighter Elvis Frost, who takes on his favorite kind of opponent in Korean piñata stand-in Yedo Kim.

Frost fights out of the legendary Chris Karter camp, and as such has adopted a bad boy persona that's clearly made up, and doesn't really seem to have any roots in his personal history whatsoever.

According to his bio on Convicted Fight Team's websites, he managed to win all sorts of awards in College Hand-egg before being arrested for multiple felonies, despite debuting professionally at age 18 under his porn nom de guerre, «Brazen Beast» Bertolt Brecht. His make-believe backstory was first outed by noted homeless person and conspiracy nut Johnny Lee Paris, who eloquently and succintly described it as «the jerk off fantasy of a 12-year-old listening to Snoop Dogg».

What more is there really to say about Elvis Frost, or his sexy alter ego Bertolt Brecht? Other than starring in artsy pornos, he's a highly accomplished martial artist and one of the most aggressive fighters on the planet. He feeds on the morbidly obese cans in the heavyweight division like said cans feed on chocolate pudding, and there's little reason to believe that Yedo Kim can stop him. Kim is what scholars call a «fat fuck with a pedophile's mustache», and has no real accomplishments in Mixed Martial Arts. This should be a short night and another easy pounding for mr. Brecht.

Prediction: Elvis Frost, TKO.

That's all for tonight, boys and girls. Watch this shit heap if you want, but steer clear if you can. Namaste.

Syn' 274: Eye of the Tiger Preview

Otto Jokinen (32-9) vs Jan Sobieski (25-7)

Highlighting Syn's monumental PPV event in Tokyo are two titans riding a freakish storm of momentum. Otto Jokinen will welcome decorated grappling sensation Jan Sobieski to the organization as both men look to carve their way into title contention. After an an amazing come from behind debut Jokinen boasts a five fight win streak in which he finished all five opponents. He is a well rounded powerhouse capable of destroying people in the stand up realm, bettering his adversaries on the ground and in general is a fighter who finishes fights. In the opposing corner stands Jan Sobieski, a specialist grappling artist who pierced his way to the top with a forceful, blitzkrieg style wrestling assault combined with wizardly jiu jitsu skills. The X factor in this bout is the ability to take a punch. Jokinen has shown in recent past that he gets dazed when he eats strikes but comes back like a raging demon. Sobieski has held up to his opponents strongly during his fighting life. Despite showing a modest chin throughout his career it would be seemingly foolish to stand and trade with Jokinen in hopes of a victory. Sobieski will go out on his shield trying to impose a ground assault but Jokinen will defend, get back to his realm and starch his foe via TKO in round 2.

Emeka Shakur (37-12) vs Carter Johnson (32-13)

The legendary and former number one heavyweight in the world Emeka Shakur will be looking to stifle the newcomer Carter Johnson and provide him a warm welcome to the Syn family. Shakur's career is truly a remarkable body of work, he has had his downs but he is a violent and instinctful killer and has blazed his way to the top and has left many bodies in his wake. He is no doubt a favored striker and his entire skill set is based on thwarting any ideas of a ground fight. To topple this legend of tycoon, Carter Johnson will need to throw caution to the wind and go for the juggular without wasting too much energy imposing his grappling arsenal. He is primarily a striker, a consistent finisher and has a notable ground game who loves to batter his foes from the top position. It remains uncertain if he can overcome the daunting grappling defenses of Shakur in his quest for victory. This fight may boil down to who gets their weapons off first, both men have a kill or be killed mentality and it's tough to say who will be the predator and who will be the prey. I believe Shakur has a slight advantage and will win via KO in round 1.

Ben Stone (30-8) vs Hans Edgar (22-9)

Long time Syn veterans will collide in a hardened affair as Hans Edgar dabbles in the welterweight division once again to seize a huge opportunity against the rock solid and well rounded Ben Stone. Both of these warriors are gritty and durable specimens, rarely ever being finished in their bouts. Stone no doubt has more tools in his arsenal and will surely be looking to expose the holes that Egar has in his game. He's got a very tight stand up game in all facets and a grappling prowess that should be respected. In order to crack the code that is Ben Stone, Edgar will need to utlize his biggest strength which is responsible for his ultra high knockout rate and that is his boxing. He also has to maintain a proper distance and not let Stone effectively grapple with him or utilize the kicking and clinching portion of his game where he enjoys a sizeable advantage. Edgar has his work cut out for him in this bout despite being an impressive finisher. At the end of the day I believe Edgars holes are too large to not be taken advantage of and Stone will pick apart his weaknesses en route to a Unanimous Decision victory.

Doug Graves (21-10) vs Jonah Sumrall (16-4)

My old boy Doug Graves has surely made a name for himself in the big leagues with his impressive and barbaric all out fighting style, captivating fans around the world. He will clash with a daunting knockout artist, Jonah Sumrall, who has never been finished with strikes and has a fair amount of momentum coming into the bout. Both guys have actually been rather impressive in Syn and are on two fight win streaks. Any notion of grappling in this fight can pretty much be dismissed as both men will surely engage in a leather slinging contest until one man is lying on the canvas. Skill wise this is quite an even match up, both guys have complete stand up arsenals and are proficient in many types of techniques. I think this fight all comes down to will Graves' chin hold up or not. It would be spectacular if he were to finish Sumrall but I think it's more likely that Graves will be the one lying unconscious after a crippling barrage. I think my old boy Douggy Graves will get starched and Sumrall will win via KO late in round 1.

Randall McMurphy (16-3-1) vs Tim Horton (15-8)

The pride of Canada and national symbol of coffee and doughnuts Tim Horton will look to advance his career in Syn as he goes to war against highly regarded middleweight Randall McMurphy. This is an interesting fight stylistically if this fight hits the mats, Horton is a ground specialist and has finished literally all of his wins, and has finished them all on the ground. McMurphy has a more extensive stand up game and has never been finished in his career. His most recent win was a submission victory so he has some stock in the grappling department if he chooses to go toe to toe in Horton's realm. However skilled McMurphy is on the ground I don't believe he will do the dance of death in Hortons domain. He will stay on the feet and pick apart his foe with a surgeon like kicks and strikes. McMurphy will win via TKO in round 2.

Remaining fights and predictions

Jobe Nkemakolam (31-11) vs Ivan Barac (25-13) - Barac via KO round 2

Roberto Garcia (24-13-1) vs Apollo Jackson (12-3) - Jackson via TKO round 1

Oliver Schwalle (11-7) vs Shawn Kronburger (33-17) - Kronburger via KO round 1

Rico Dominguez (20-10-3) vs Mark Dunn (26-17) - Dunn via SUB round 2

Thorbjorn Ramsberg (38-16) vs Rau Utu (8-5) - Utu via KO round 2

Syn' 275: No Turning Back Preview

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1384896924274%20ntb.jpg'

DeAngelo Kenner (23-6) vs Devin Styles (19-5)
Colossal heavyweight destruction will headline the night of fights as one of the three prestigious Syn titles on the line in this spectacular PPV attraction. The juggernaut DeAngelo Kenner will take on furious Devin Styles in a compelling rematch for the Syn heavyweight strap. In their first encounter Kenner controlled the majority of the fight with explosive takedowns and his stifling pressure on the ground. Styles was able to weather the assault and put a stamp on the fight with a perfectly placed hook, knocking Kenner down and calling a halt to the contest in the fourth round. Since the loss Kenner has gone on a five fight win streak and captured the Syn championship in impressive fashion, showing that he is a dynamic and ever improving fighter. Styles brings a crucial dose of confidence into the rematch, knowing he has the capacity to end Kenners night with a single well timed strike. Despite the result of their first encounter I believe Kenner has made more gains as a fighter and has what it takes to even the score. He will expend less energy grappling and will engage more on the feet, showcasing his improved stand up game. Kenner will take a Unanimous Decision victory after using all of his skills and approaching the fight in a m ore tactical and surgical fashion
Sergiy Sklyar (27-7-1) vs Henry Morgan (26-16)
Ultra fast and dynamic bantamweight Sergiy Sklyar will put his title up for stake against highly touted Syn newcomer and versatile Henry Morgan. In just 2 short fights with the organization Sklyar has managed to capture the Syn bantamweight championship and retain it in dominant form. He has made his career off of his imposing wrestling game and turning his opponents into mince meat with his staggering ground strikes. He will enjoy a huge confidence boost going into the bout knowing that Morgan has been finished via strikes eleven times in his career. Despite being put away so many times, Morgan has a rock solid offensive arsenal and has a far higher finishing rate than his foe, including ten by way of submission. If the fight takes place on the ground, which I hope it does, it will be a very interesting to see the skills of these bantamweights go head to head. Morgan surely has an advantage in the submission grappling department but he is up against a top game wrecking machine who pounds the shit out of his foes with crippling strikes. I believe Sklyar will crack the ground game of his challenger and retain his title via TKO in the 2nd round
Glen Davis (17-11) vs Leighton Matias (23-12)
The Syn super heavyweight title will finally crown a true champion after being vacated and leaving the division in limbo for some time. The seasoned grappling based veteran Glen Davis will step in to challenge for the title against the favored and destructive Syn standout Leighton Matias. The grappling portion of this titanic matchup arguably favors Davis, who has a dominant wrestling pedigree and boasts several submission wins. Matias however will enjoy a monumental advantage in the striking realm where he is a proven killer and master of the thai boxing style of fighting. Davis would be mad to stand with such a seasoned and talented knockout specialist and surely his best hopes of victory lie in his wrestling skills. There are not many secrets in the gameplans of these goliaths as their preferred styles are layed out for all to see in each fighters history. It is a very much classic bout between a predominant stand up artist vs a predominant grappling guru. I believe Matias has advanced slightly more as a true mixed martial artist and I believe he will finish the fight with knees and win via TKO in the 1st round
Buzz Cloltran (25-4-2) vs Kyle Le Blanc (29-11-1)
The former number one bantamweight in the world all American Buzz Cloltran will continue his pursuit of top tier glory as he takes on long time Syn veteran Kyle Le Blanc in an exciting bout with high implications. The evolution of Cloltran is quite impressive, starting out as a pure grappler and morphing into a true specimen of the art. He has shown very few weaknesses in the latter portion of his career and has not once been finished making him a highly dangerous foe for any opponent. The man who will try to topple this bantamweight monster is highly experienced Kyle Le Blanc, who is equally durable and has the necessary striking skills in which a victory will require. He is a notably excellent boxer and has very smooth hands and that will certainly be the greatest advantage for him in this fight. If he can thwart the wrestling onslaught of Cloltran and keep the fight standing he will put himself in the best position possible to obtain a victory. The skills of Cloltran are however undeniable and he will eventually wear his foe down, seamlessly blending his striking with his grappling game and bringing home a Unanimous Decision victory
Moses Diggs (40-12) vs Johnnie Stalker (25-10-2)
Long time light heavyweight Syn standout Johnnie Stalker will seek to even the score against former champion Moses Diggs in a crucial fight to in which the victor will ascend closer towards title contention. The former title holder Diggs will look to once again to emerge victorious against a man who gave him a serious run for his money and nearly knocked him out in the first frame. Stylistically this is an amazing match up and a rematch was only a matter of time after their absolutely epic first encounter. Diggs was able to weather the storm after being dazed in the first and grapple his way to a very close decision victory, leaving the door wide open for the obvious rematch in the future. Stalker showed tremendous skills in the first bout, nearly claiming a knockout and showing a very active submission game despite being taken down repeatedly. Definitely one of the most intriguing fights on the card making it very hard to predict. I hope Stalker can pull out a victory so we can see the rubber match but I think Diggs will once again show off his tremendous heart and pull out another decision victory
Remaining fights and predictions
Dan Leighty (22-9) vs Ronnie Riley (22-10-2) - Leighty via UD
Leif Nygard (24-11) vs Sepp Maier (37-24) - Nygard via TKO round 2
Jan Zelenka (14-2-1) vs Takanori Gomi (12-4-2) - Zelenka via KO round 1
Ricardo Ramirez (20-10) vs Tokugawa Kazunari (19-7) - Kazunari via UD
Rostam Samani (17-7) vs Walter Kurtz (12-6) - Kurtz via KO round 2 also via Scott Davies being a swine

Syn' 276: Losing Control Preview

Tweedle Dee (34-6-1) vs Kostas Charalabous (24-5)

Freshly crowned middleweight title holder and ultra durable Tweedle Dee will stake his crown against the violent knockout specialist Kostas Charalabous in a seriously high level encounter. The sheer amount of destruction these men have carved in the middleweight scene is truly something to behold. They both possess brutal raw knockout power but it is Charalabous who stands out as the more consistent finisher. He has stopped almost ninety percent of his wins with strikes which is a phenomenal statistic considering he has nearly thirty pro bouts. His grappling prowess is no doubt inferior to the champions so he will be looking to engage in a battle on the feet and dethrone the champion with his daunting power. Tweedle Dee has his hands very much full with this violent challenger and he might choose not to engage in a firefight with the savage competitor. He has never been finished in his lengthy career and has a clear advantage in the grappling aspect, utilizing it well to reach the top of the middleweight heap. Dee will engage just enough to set up his takedowns and neutralize the strengths of the challenger en route to a Unanimous Decision victory

K.J. Choi (17-6) vs Brick Tires (14-5-1)

Two heavyweight striking brutes will collide damn well guaranteeing to provide fireworks as Brick Tires takes on fellow striking counterpart K.J. Choi. These men are very comparable in their styles and attributes, both having rock solid chins and a high level of striking capabilities. The main differences between these combatants is that Tires specializes in the thai boxing style and Choi specializes in the sweet science. The only predictable aspect in this match up is that a ground fight is out of the question and that they will engage in a barn burner on the feet. Tires will enjoy a slight advantage in the clinch and has greater developed elbow and knee strikes. Choi brings a slight advantage in hand speed and has literally finished every single win with strikes. It would be foolish to bet on this fight but if I were forced to choose I would say Tires will take the win via KO in round 2 with a crippling series of combinations

Codi Gale (28-10) vs David Gilmour (17-5)

Additional heavyweight crushing machines will grace fans with their destruction as Syn veterans David Gilmour and Codi Gale will square off in a barbaric affair. Syn fans will be happy to hear that like the other heavyweight attraction on the card these men are born and bread merciless strikers. Both of their games are designed to nullify grapplers and punish their feeble attempts at an assault on the ground. Gilmour has challenged for the title before and is coming off a very well fought TKO win which was a rather one sided starching. He has highly technical punching and kicking techniques and has beaten many top heavyweights in the game today. Gale is essentially a mirror image of his foe but has fought slightly better competition in his career despite never challenging for the Syn title. In reality this is another toss up fight, both men can easily starch the other at any given time. Let's go with Gilmour though and say that he'll win by TKO in round 3

Dragon Slayer (17-5-1) vs Dom Danky (21-10-1)

Three time Syn middleweight combatant Dragon Slayer will look to crash and burn the Syn debut party of Dom Danky, a man who brings a train of momentum into his organizational debut. Slayer, the guy who will welcome him to the Syn family has had good success stifling top opponents with a high volume striking style. He was able to finish many opponents before coming to Syn but has had troubles putting people away in the big leagues. Danky isn't known as a knockout artist and shares the high volume Nick Diaz style of fighting. This will be a war of technical attrition and whoever can maintain the higher pace and wilt their opponent will emerge victorious. I believe Danky will wear his foe down with body punches and well placed kicks while picking him apart with clean, straight strikes. He will take home a Unanimous Decision victory after a very hard fought victory

Dante Evangelisti (33-8) vs Randal Pritchard (25-16-1)

The legendary Dante Evangelisti, the last remaining gem of legendary tycoon manager Avon Barksdale will begin his crusade to reclaim his title against the highly dangerous Randal Pritchard. The future Syn hall of famer Evangelisti might the the most loyal and longest serving Syn veteran in organizational history. His career developed under the banner and he has fought nearly thirty times for the organization. He is a true legend in all sense of the word and is still able to compete with the most elite mixed martial artists on the planet. He is a highly fortified wrecking machine, honing his stand up abilities into near perfection. Pritchard is tasked with toppling this specimen of tycoon royalty and certainly has the tools to do it. He has the power to take out any man with the correct punch but he has serious problems absorbing punishment. He has been put away many times in his fighting life and I predict he will fall victim to the legend. Evangelisti is on another level and will win via KO in round 1

Remaining fights and predictions

Yin Tao (26-7) vs Colin Hendry (29-12-1) - Tao via UD

Andres Aguinaldo (38-18-1) vs Evander Holyshit (32-18-1) - Holyshit via KO round 2

Rico Dominguez (20-10-3) vs Mark Dunn (26-17) - Dunn via SUB round 2

Andreas Ottosson (17-11) vs Matt Sabre (41-18-1) - Sabre via KO round 1

Harry Ballzonya (16-13) vs Huey Freeman (31-20-1) - Ballzonya via UD

Syn' 279: Fear of the Unknown

Event Preview prepared by Jonah King

Hello Fight fans, King here bringing you a Synchronicity PPV preview for this Saturday Night at the Colossuseum in LA. The event is Syn' 279:Fear of the Unknown and will feature two title fights including the Heavyweight and Welterweight Crowns on the line, as well as 8 other world class match ups. So lets get the action underway.......

155lbs-Giorgio Valentino (20-8-1) vs Mayuri Tatsuki (31-12-1) Prediction -Valentino by (t)KO in the 1st Rd

170lbs-Oliver Schwalle (11-8) vs Vincent Hunter (19-10) Prediction -Hunter by UD

145lbs-Alexander Lansing (16-8-2) vs Sensational Sensation (18-7) Prediction -Lansing by (t)KO in 2nd Rd

265lbs-Ivan Barac (25-14) vs Blaze Christainson (19-7) Prediction -Barac by (t)KO in 1st Rd

170lbs-Yang Tao (26-9) vs Jase Newson (35-12-2) Prediction - Newson by UD

155lbs-Jacque Schtrappe (27-10-1) vs Derek "The Artist" Riggs (25-16)

The Main Card kicks off with an exciting Lightweight match up between these two veterans of the tycoon world. Jacque Schtrappe is on a two fight losing streak, including a losing effort against current Champion Gary Bunn back at Syn' 268 so he could really use a win to keep himself from falling farther down the rankings. Derek Riggs looked impressive in his Syn' debut after coming over from LFNC, and another win will get him one step closer to a title shot. Riggs relies a lot on his Elite Boxing skill, and does a great job mixing in body punches and combos that help keep his opponents off balance. Jacque is a very aggressive fighter and throw a lot of strikes from a lot of different angles. He is relentless with his Boxing attacking both the head and body, and he throws a lot of low kicks punishing his opponents legs and body. I don't see either one of these guys wanting to take this one to the ground, so it should be a nice display of a stand up war. Schtrappe has some serious stopping power in both hands, but I think that Riggs has the chin to hold up to onslaught. The difference maker should be Schtrappe's kicks, he should be able to use them to slow Riggs down enough to start picking him apart.

170lb Title-Antonio Montana (38-18) vs C.Oswaldo "Sonny" Sanchez (30-12-1)

Our first Title fight of the evening pits Current Welterweight Champion Oswaldo Sanchez who is fresh off of a losing effort in moving down to Lightweight but is eager to get his first Title defense in the books, taking on the last CFC Welterweight Champion Antonio Montana. Montana does a good job peppering his opponents legs while unleashing a relentless Elite Boxing attack that sees him throwing a large amount of shots to the head that he lands at an impressive 60% rate. Sanchez also has a very active striking attack and is confident enough to take the fight into the clinch where he has a pretty vicious dirty Boxing game. Montana has more natural power and has 21 career knockout victories to back that up, while Sanchez looks to just overwhelm his opponent with his striking game and out pointing them. I think that Montana has the chin to with stand any strikes from Sanchez, but the question will be if he can get any offense going himself or if you will fall victim to a judges decision.

185lbs-Tweedle Dee (34-7-1) vs Dragon Slayer (18-5-1)

In our only Middleweight contest of the evening we have the up and coming Dragon Slayer who looks to be rolling on his way to a title fight trying to take out the veteran Tweedle Dee. Tweedle Dee beat current Champion Evangelista in his Syn' debut, but then fell short in his first defense at Syn' 276 suffering a devastating Knockout loss. Dragon Slayer has been on a tear since his losing effort against the current Champion, and he wants nothing more than another crack at getting the strap. Slayer has a very balanced striking attack with a great mix of head punches and legs kicks, but has a very solid clinch game as well. Tweedle Dee has a crazy aggressive stand up game, I mean this guys throws a ton of strikes and lands a lot of those attempts. Dee's opponents sometimes have a hard time getting any offense going because of his relentless game plan, so it will be interesting to see how the less experienced fighter reacts to the pressure. Both of these fighters have the power to end the fight standing in a hurry but you may see Dee throw in a take down or two and use his superior grappling game to show his dominance and dictate the pace of the action.

205lbs-Otto "Kooma" Jokinen (33-10) vs Alfonso Lopez (15-2)

In our Co Main event of the evening we have a hell of a Light Heavyweight Match up between the Opa Jokinen managed fighter Otto Jokinen and the Steel Penn Icon Champion Alfonso Lopez who is riding a hype train into this fight. Lopez comes into this one with a 10 fight streak, and can prove to the Tycoon world that he is the real deal with a win over the 43 fight veteran Otto. Jokinen at only 29 years old has a pretty impressive resume already, and this will be his fourth fight under the Syn' banner and he has went 2-1 up to this point. Otto relies pretty heavy on his striking game where he throws a nice combo of Punches and kicks at an extremely accurate rate, but he also isn't afraid of taking the fight into the clinch and has some vicious knees. Alfonso has some serious power and that can be on display with about every strike that this guy throws, as he throws a lot of power and he likes to throw it often. Both of these two fights love to stand and bang, and neither one will be looking for it to go the judges. So it will be interesting to see who will be able to take advantage the young up and coming stud, or the sly Veteran that is looking to show he still has a lot of miles left.

265lb Title-Kyle Carlton (24-2) vs C.Devin "Furious" Styles (20-5)

Our Main event of the evening if for the Heavyweight Championship Title and it features ex Evo Champ and #1 P4P fighter Kyle Carlton making his Syn' debut and looking to dethrone the newly crowned Champion Devin Styles. Styles comes into this fight on a 4 fight win streak, but this will be one of the toughest fights of his career so it will be nice to see how he reacts to that and if he can keep the title around his waist at the end of the night. Kyle Carlton has been the number fighter in the Tycoon world and he wants nothing more than to get back there, and currently sitting at number 11 a win in this one will get him one more step in the right direction. Carlton is the truest form of a knockout artist that there is with all 24 of his career wins being by way of stoppage, and this guy seriously has dynamite in both of his gloves. Devin is a dynamic striker who punishes his opponents legs, and throws a fare amount of head punches. Styles has been known to get a little sloppy with his striking game, so he could leave himself open to be countered and with Carlton's power that could spell disaster for the current Champion. Styles has a granite chin so he may be withstand Kyle's punches for awhile, but he'll need to get his offense going early and get the momentum going in his favor. This one could have Fight of the Night or KO of the Night written all over it, but either way it should be a great way to finish the night off!

There you have it folks an absolutely great night of fights, and I'm sure that the fans in attendance will really enjoy the show. I would like to thank Reaper Combatwear for sponsoring the event, and make sure to check out Syn City Betzone to earn some money from your favorite Syn' fighters!
