and get ready to delete the layer with the belt around Ping's waist. after BANG UP, it's all about Igor, Poppa has no idea what he's in for. the only way i see him winning is if Tatov slips on the bloody mess he's created by his opponent's dripping face and cracks his head off the cage pole on the way down.

good thing Pops is able to drop weight to challenge Joad because after he gets obliterated in the 1st round like all of Tatov's other victims, there will be no talk of a rematch.

Slips...or gets queasy at the sight of blood. Poppa's down with that, he don't mind bleeding.

ping and his 'manager' are both bitches that need to be bitch-slapped

I asked Poppa for a reply to your comment. But he couldn't figure out who the hell you are or why he should care what you say. So he slammed the door and got back to the ladies...

in fact, in 8 days I'm going to cut one of my fighters to build a 265+ that will eventually fight you when you try to make your "big comeback," beating you so horribly that your newfound career, belief in god, focus on training and not women, will all be for nothing

schaeff DONT create a 265+ just yet. There is something special in the works for SFO Managers and it requires a new 145 or 265+ fighter. So i'd ask you hold off for a bit. Hopefully everything will be announced later this week or early next week

Setting: Once again, 'Stand Up Academy' in New York City.

Interviewee: Tom Joad

Interviewer: Beariel Wielwanii

Beariel: "How do you feel about Ping's comments recently requesting to unify the super heavyweight and heavyweight titles?"

Joad: "I think I would be very welcome to that idea. I actually would really enjoy to fight Poppa Ping. He will stand and brawl it out with me and those are my favorite fights. I'd honestly enjoy to fight a guy of that size. I don't think he is good enough or fast enough to stand with me, but I would be VERY welcome to give him the shot. It all depends on Steeve and how clear they would like our divisions before such a fight. I say sooner than later, as I don't see him clearing out his division."

Beariel: "Do you think that would be looking past Dos Santos?"

Joad: "No. I would never look past Dos Santos. I think McGee, probably the best-trained heavyweight we have in the division, did. And Dos Santos showed him what happens when you do that. I have the utmost respect for Dos Santos and consider him a major threat to anyone in the division. Stylistically, though, I don't think he has the tools to defeat me. I think I may well be the worst style match-up in the entire heavyweight division for him. Credit to him for taking the fight. And his previous fight for that matter. Guy's all balls."

Beariel: "Any other thoughts?"

Joad: "Yeah. McGee's next opponent got ripped. Kid has lots of potential and is getting thrown to the wolves. I hope he pulls a Dos Santos. Never cool to see a kid new to the game getting tooled like that. How long McGee's been in the game, he should be duking it out in Syn. War Cobalt."

Tom Joad stands up and exits camera view while Beariel does his lil' gay outtro.

Date: 30 Apr 2010

Howdy frens! Back in the ring for another swing. This time twenty worthy fighters will battle it out in ten worthy buts for the worhtiest of men, L. Steve the H and his worthy fight org., SFO. What's more, two of the the fights are for belts. That's right. TWO TITLE FIGHTS in one event. Is there anything L. Steve the H won't do for his fans? According to several of the round card ladies, that answer is "NO." So sit back, grab some popcorn, a giant foam middle finger, and beer, and get ready to rumble.

Sir Justin v Fred "Headstone" Hanks

Our first contest in WORTHY is between light heavyweights Justin and Hanks. Justin is an 18-year old from the Mr. Terror fighter factory in Boone, North Carolina. Headstone is 22, and comes to Montreal from the bustling backwater of Lapeer, Michigan. These guys are so similar in styles and skills, I have a feeling that whoever has been training their physicals more will come out on top. Not sure who that will be, but I am gonna go with Hanks in a decision.

Sir Justin [ 68127 ] WORTHY!

I've been looking forward to this fight. Fred Hanks murdered Murder Face and now Sir Justin is out for vengeance. He's older but I've young Sir Justin has been training pretty damn hard. Either way this fight is going to get a high ranking with a hopefully brutal stand-up brawl. This fight was requested by Sir Justin, now we have to see if he can follow through.

Fred Hanks (73712)

I'll let my fists do the talking in the cage.

"Hase" Asim Ferhatovic v Rick Payne

The next bout features two heavyweights with massive BJJ skills. Payne is a brown belt, which means he can do some serious jujitsu. Sadly, that's all he can do. Ferhatovic, who grew up in war torn Bosnia Herzegovina, has seen his share of pain, and this Payne will look like birthday cake to him. A purple belt in BJJ, he should be able to handle most of what Payne throws at him. Payne, however, is in for a beating in any standup action because "Hase" can bring it with his fists, knees, elbows, kicks, forearms, hips, shoulders, and even, incredible, his armpits. What's more, he is an excellent wrestler, so it will be tough for Payne to even get an advantage on the ground. I don't think this fight gets past the first round, with a knockout by Ferhatovic almost inevitable. This isn't even beginning to factor in Payne's ridiculously low energy. His manager, Roberto carter, better get down to the gym and get his fighter out of it, or the fight might not last past the first punch.

Denzil "The Destroyer" Derby v Matt "Daredevil" Murdock

A couple of wily welterweights with losing records go toe to toe in our next fight. Derby, a 19-year old Brit from Darlington, England is a boxer and Muay Thai guy who desperatley wants to get his MMA career back on track after a first round submission loss in his first professional fight. Murdock, who might be the only 1-2 fighter with his own line of fightwear, has been largely disappointing in his short MMA career. He claims to have rededicated himself to his sport, so we are hoping to see this in action. He does have slight advantages in boxing, MT, and wrestling so a good gameplan should see him with his arm raised in the end. Murdock by decision.

Matt "Daredevil" Murdock [ 60872 ] Worthy

I will admit I Dont have the best overall record. I was too busy dealing with.....other things and I was never fully committed to my training. I have really buckled down and am fully focused on my mma career. Since my last fight I have moved to the Goodfellas Elite gym and it has done wonders. I have gone back to the basics and got my body into better physical shape. As for my opponent I look forward to fight Derby. Both of our last fights we against people who dont want to strike. We are both coming out to bang and this will be a good fight. It will end by KO via Head Kick in round 2. I want to thank the sfo for allowing me to fight with them. I would just like to add that I have my own new line at Marvel Combat so go check it out.

Kurt "Nightcrawler" Wagner v Harry "Hap" Holmes

Everybody's third or fourth favorite Xman Wagner takes on the pride of Aurora, Ontario in what should be a very close and exciting middleweight contest. Evenly matched and well-trained both guys will be looking to use their boxing and wrestling to get the victory. Holmes can add a bit of jujitsunating, but I doubt it will be very effective. A very tough fight to call, I think this one will be a split decision with the winner being Wagner.

Reece Edward Duenas v "Havoc" Chris Dugre

Moving on we get to a lightweight fixture between the mohawked Pinoy, Reece "Red" Edward Duenas, an undefeated 22-year old from Valenzuela, Phillipines with a purple belt in BJJ and "Havoc" Chris Dugre, a 21-year old Canadian from Ottawa who has more standup skills in his left wrist than Dugre does in his whole body. The tale of this fight will be whether or not "Red" can get the fight to the mat or not. Also, Dugre might want to think about buying some new threads (Marvel Combat makes quality gear I hear), seeing a feelgood movie, or going to a Thai "massage" therapist because his morale is el-oh-double yew (which spells low, Steve...). If he can get his spirits out of the dumps, I think Dugre has a real chance in this fight, and I am going to go out on a limb and predict a Dugre victory. Because I am risky like that.

Reece Edward Duenas (63964), WORTHY

Y'all RED in the house. I changed gym once again to improve my training. I'm now at nair's submission gym. I mostly focused my training in defensive grappling and striking defense. My opponent Chris Dugre is a joke. I will submit him during round 1 just like my previous fight. I expect Chris Dugre to graciously accept defeat and bow down to the next king of 155 div. After winning this fight I will challenge you, Joe Mendes to claim my rightful throne in SFO. To all of my fans, watch me paint the town RED.

Shaniqua Gorbdinkle v "Oni" Eikichi Onizuka

Next up is a fight between the SFO's best female fighter, Shaniqua Gorbdinkle, and "Oni" Eikichi Onizuka from Japan. Onizuka is 1-1 with a convincing first round TKO in his last fight. Gorbdinkle is 2-1, also winning by first-round TKO in her last fight. That's where the similarities end, though. "Oni" is a wrestling specialist with little other skill. Gorbdinkle is a decent wrestler but adds some boxing prowess to her game. Onizuka is known to be very quick, but Shaniqua is no slouch herself, once bedding the entire high school chess club in just over one lunchtime period. I can't see her losing this fight, and think she will knock out "Oni" in the 2nd round.

Shaniqua - I'm gonna fight hard.

Tom Hallt v Ben Riot

Our next fight is a bit of a sad story. Tom Hallt used to be a rising star in this profession. He trained hard, he had good management, he used the right shampoos and soaps. Then one day, his manager decided that MMA was not for him, and moved out of Montreal to Banff, where he opened up a canine toothbrushing business with his partner, who turned out to be a senile and flatulent Pomeranian named Mr. Bugles. Since that day, Tom has been seen occasionally punching a bag down at the Y, but mostly he just sits in a corner stall at the local McDonald's, drinking orange soda and reading John Grisham Cliffs notes. Riot by TKO.

Ben Riot (72261)

This fight i think is all the same. The only different is Tom Hallt has the more advantage when it comes to the ground. But he is not threat to me at all. I improve my defensive grappling and hopefully he will have a difficult time to drag me at the ground and i will make this fight on feet at all cost, I improve my skills and physicals. I expect him to do some takedown actions but i think it would not happen. Tom Hallt, an aggressive fighter?? Without a manager?? You are Nothing!! With the help of my colleague and specially my sparring leader in BOXING, Manny Pacquiao, i will be more aggressive and do some 1,2 combination with a lot of power and Steve, mark my word!! This will end in round 1 by way of TKO!! That's it!! "I WALK THE TALK." To all the fighters in SFO, goodluck guys, stay focus and DON'T DO DRUGS. SFO Commentating is awesome. i've learned a lot from different fighters at different divisions. And to my Fans, Hello everybody!! DON'T DO DRUGS!!

R.I.P. Pops, miss you!!

Bobby Clark v Tyson Griffin

Our last fight on the undercard should have been a great match. Instead, Griffin decided to go on a bender and come to the fight with the energy of an unchanged battery from Pam Anderson's favorite vibrator. Clark by TKO. Plus, nice porn star mustache, Griffin...

bobby clark (70340)

It will be my first time fighting a really good wrestler, so will be interesting to see how the fight unfolds. Also, the experience gained form my first fight will help. I've been training up my strenght and conditionning, and as far as what skills I trained well I'm not going to give away my gave plan here, but I can say it's things that will help me win this fight. I don't know a lot about my opponent, I've been locked in the gym all the time, but what I know about him I learned it from watching videos of his previous fights. He's good, he's game and he's a smart fighter and I respect that a lot. I expect to win this fight, period. The way remains to be seen, and with a well rounded guy like him, it's hazardous to go into predictions. The only thing I can say is that I see myself winning this one. Honestly, I'm at a loss for words here, I don't know anything about commentary, I just stay locked in the gym, the video room... I'm a MMA nerd, I don't have a life outside. To all my fans: thank you for the support!

Lucas "Devastador" Dos Santos v Tom Joad 265 lbs title

The dangerous jujitsunating maching that is Lucas Dos Santos collides with the all-around excellence that is Tom Joad in our first fight on the main card. A fight that will end with the winner strapping on the SFO heavyweight title belt.

At the moment, the belt is in the worthy hands of Joad, who has proven that he is indeed a champion with 2 knockouts in his 2 minutes and 35 seconds of professional ringtime. Dos Santos, the 3-0 challenger from Piranguinho, Brazil, is a gifted jujitsunator, and a decent boxer as well. He has been training hard for this fight, and there is a chance he might overdue it in his quest to unseat Joad. While it is clear that Dos Santos needs to get this on the ground and turn Joad into a pretzel in order to get his hands on the belt. Joad has a variety of ways to go about cleaning "devastdor's" clock. He can box his ears, elbow his chin, knee his guts, kick his shins, or even dominate with some wrestling and his vicious ground and pound. I imagine he will be looking to use his fists, but you never know. I think it will be a great fight, but I think in the end Joad will still be holding onto his title, his belt, and his unbeaten record.

Tom Joad -- 57351 -- WORTHY

"For this fight, I've kind of strayed from using Jodoin and Kovloski and found a new sparring partner in Ian Carter. I think he brings a defensive and controlling aspect to my wrestling game that I wasn't finding with Damyen - perhaps due to the language barrier and communication issues. Demyan also has a fight this weekend, so he's had his own preperations to worry about. The new sparring has made my sprawl vicious, which is necessary against Dos Santos. I think he is going to look to box until he sees a chance to change levels and catch me off balance. Try to win it with his jiu-jitsu. We all know I will be in there punching him. It's what I do. It becomes a question of who controls where the fight takes place. I think I have the ability to dictate that."

"I have the utmost respect for Dos Santos. I am actually very proud to have the opportunity to fight him. I think he is a guy that goes out and fights exciting wars like myself. If I don't catch him early, I could easily see this becoming fight of the night. I know he won't back down and I know it's going to be fast-paced. I find it hard to imagine it leaves the first round. I also find it hard to imagine there will be a single fan out there that doesn't enjoy this one."

"I look forward to putting on the most exciting fights, and I am thankful to Dos Santos for stepping up and doing so with me. Thankful to the fans for their support. Thankful to the management here at SFO for putting on great shows. I am looking forward to more fights in the future."

Matt Spartan v Corey "Heigle" Stevenson 170 lbs title

Our main event is a worthy one, that's for sure. It is the first title defense for welterweight champion, Matt Spartan, who looks from his bio picture to either be a ghost or to have just seen one. Luckily for him, looks don't count in MMA, skills do. And Matt has the goods. He is a classic boxer/wrestler and has 4 knockouts to prove it. Unfortunately, he is going up against a real beast of a fighter in the 5-0 submission specialist, Corey "Heigle" Stevenson. Stevenson, the son of a steel mill worker, grew up eating rivets and drinking molten steel so it's no wonder he is tough. While Spartan is just kind of creepy looking, Stevenson is downright ugly. The same can't be said for his BJJ, which is a thing of beauty to behold in action. And while he is defintiely going to concentrate on working his superior ground game, "Heigle" has the Muay Thai to compete in any standup action that goes on. This should be a really exciting and bloodu fight, but I see the challenger going home with the title here. Stevenson with a late round submission.

Corey "Heigle" Stevenson [ 35407 ]

well this fight is goin to be my toughest yet as spartan i think thts his name is a very good striker but he must know tht im not afraid to stand and bang. to be onest like ive told you before every fighter needs to watch out for me because if i lose this fight which i wont i ll come back and beat you. Thats all i have say about tht matter.

My predction for this fight is i ll be making him tap in the 2 nd round by taking his arm home with me

BIOBONDS "BEST SMACK"

Dudley Fitz, eccentric owner of Biobonds Supplements, has decided to give away two months' worth of CREAM 150 to the best prefight quote, as chosen by him. L. Steve the H. has agreed to throw in $2000 to sweeten the pot. Our inaugural winner is Tom Joad, who didn't spell any words wrong, was respectful, lucid, and ummm, didnt' spell any words wrong. Honorable mention (1 jar of CREAM 150 and $500) to Corey Stevenson for threatening to take Spartan's arm home with him.

170 lbs Matt Spartan v Corey Stevenson 170 lbs title

I will post awards for the last three fights.

Awards for Crush

There were no submissions so 2 TKO's will be awarded

Marvel Combat KO of the night-The first award goes to the reigning SFO Super Heavyweight champion "Perfect" Poppa Ping and his KO was perfect. Early in the first round Ping connected with a stiff jab that staggered the other fighter and he followed up with a huge uppercut that knocked him out cold!

Marvel Combat KO of the night- The second awar goes to Tony Mantegna who showed off his Exceptional Boxing by knocking down, cutting and knocking out his opponent in 19 seconds in the first round. Keep a look out for this guy.

Marvel Combat Fight of the Night- This award goes to "Canadian Ninja" Lucious LaFleur and Don Taco. This fight was a 3 round war, Taco blasted the LaFleur with kick after kick threw out the fight however the Canadian Ninja's boxing was just too good which resulted in him winning a split decision.

Awards for Heroes

Marvel Combat TKO of the night- The KO of the night goes to Razor "Lightning" Face who's knockout was not only brutal but just cruel. He throws a combonation that drops the other fighter then he just stands there and waves the fighter back up. Just as he gets up Face rocks hims and its all over.

Marvel Combat Submission of the night- Only one submission on the card tonight but it was textbook. The award goes to Corporal "Crazy Legs" Clegg who took down his opponent, softened him up with some ground and pound then sunk in a rear naked choke to end the fight.

Marvel Combat Fight of the Night- Fight of the night goes to Axel Van Dam and Amir "Serpentes" Verdune. Both fighters wanted to utilize their boxing but both also had other game plans, Verdune wanted to use the clinch where Axel wanted to take it to the ground and use ground and pound and submissions. In the end Serpentes won a unanimous decision.

Awards for Chaos

Marvel Combat TKO of the night- Normally people dont like it when a ref stops the fight because of a cut.... but this time it was the right call. Blood Face lived up to his name by completely mangling the other fighter. He got the clinch and threw the most devestating elbows ever seen in the SFO. He cut him FOUR times. They say time heals all wounds but I dont know about these ones.

Marvel Combat Submission of the night- Our submission of the night goes out to the Bosnian Safet "Pape" Susic. Pape threw one punch, took down the fighter and submitted him in one attempt and in 31 seconds.....enough said.

Marvel Combat Fight of the Night- The Fight of the Night award goes to the only fight that went to a decision. The fact that "Ann" Samuan Prasoetram is still alive after the onslaught from Joel Bailey is nothing short of a miracle. Bailey got the take down in each round and just unleashed his ground and pound. Best of luck for the recovery... good thing your manager has a drug company.

Once again for all the winners you will receive any 2 shirts/shorts of your choice from Marvel Combat in Montreal.

Thanks to all SFO fighters and Good Luck in your future fights

-Remi Owner of Marvel Combat
