  1. This story picks up right where it left off. A young Darsin Bleak stepping up in competition with his third MMA organization. Having held two different belts in two different organizations already, his confidence was at an all time high. He introduced himself to the BBFC world with a great fight that resulted in Fight of the Night. To that point, no fighter had made it out of the 2nd round against him, so that victory was twice as sweet. He loved getting the TKO win in his debut, but to earn a fight of the night award for his efforts was icing on the cake. His next fight was against a fighter whose career had started spiraling down. To date, it is unknown why this win led to his next title shot, but he just shook it off as his reputation and past belts giving him this honor. So here we are, his third fight at BBFC, well, now known as Blaze Brothers, and he’s in the cage staring across at the champion, Shane MacManus. He wanted a step up in competition, and that’s exactly what he got. This title fight was the longest, most grueling fight to date for the Sandman. They went back and forth for all 5 rounds, and it led to his first, and only, decision victory. But he had won. He had proved the doubters wrong, and as they strapped that gold belt around his waist, he was flooded with emotions of joy and excitement. But this is where it gets hard. Winning the belt as a relative newcomer is easier than defending the belt. When you’re the new guy, you can be overlooked, underestimated, taken for granted. But now, as the champion, you are the target. And this is exactly where Bleak wanted to be. He wants to be the best, so he knows he must fight the best and beat the best. His first title defense he didn’t let go to the judges. He had decided not to let that happen again. A finish is a much better feeling, and a much more gratifying way to win. This one made it to the third round where he went back to his old ways and locked in an armbar to secure the victory. Now, nobody could say the judges were wrong. Nobody could say he wasn’t the real champion. He had earned it, and there was no doubt that Bleak was the undisputed light weight champion of Blaze. He is now 13-0 and looking for the next challenge. Who will bring it? That opponent would be one Marshal Mayhem, and he would gladly accept. When Bleak and Mayhem squared off, Bleak decided he wanted to make a statement. He wanted to inflict pain on his opponent, and that’s exactly what he did. For the first time in his career, Darsin had inflicted enough pain on his opponent that his opponent tapped out. He never grabbed an arm, locked in a choke, just beat him to the ground until his opponent pleaded for help. To date, that was the most gratifying victory of his career. He’s had three more title defenses since then, earning awards in two of them. He now stands at an impressive 17-0 record and has a new goal in sight. He now looks to face the grappling king of the 145 division to see if he can earn a 2nd belt in a 2nd weight class. This will undoubtedly be the toughest fight of Bleak’s career. Never has he faced someone who is every bit as skilled as he is in the ground, possibly even more so. While he does have a bit of a striking advantage, Bleak has never gone to that tool kit to secure a victory. He is what he is, and he does his thing. It has worked out for him so far, and he will lean on that again as he tries to beat his opponent as his own game. Last I spoke, Bleak had a message for his upcoming opponent. “Gracie, you’re from a long line of fantastic BJJ artists. This will be a war but make no mistake. I’m coming for you!” And with that, we will sit and anxiously await the next chapter to see where this fight goes, and what the future hold for young Bleak. Will he be a two-division champion? Will he keep and defend that belt if he does, or will he look to focus on his own division? Bleak has already been toying with the idea of the next chapter of his career should he win this belt. There are still so many more place he could fight some of the best the world has to offer. But is he ready? Is it time yet? I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned to find out.

  2. AFTER THE ISLAND- “Lucky” Liam Murphy By Chad Stevens, MMA-LA With a nickname like “Lucky,” Liam Murphy sure hasn’t had much of it in his fight career. Sitting at an 11-12 record, on the Island Murphy carried an unfortunate typecaste- a sloppy submission specialist. With all 11 of his wins coming from submissions, you’d think the 30 year old Irishman would be a jiu jitsu guru- yet he showed a serious lack of discipline and misfortune by being submitted 5 times himself. Adding more to his streak of unluckiness is his two losses in title fights at Highland- one against Ed Green, and one against the meteoric Noel Diaz. While one can hardly blame him for the loss against Diaz, his up and down career has shown a lack of dedication to his craft. Murphy was never going to be a fighter. At 25, he was but an unlucky homeless man found frequently loitering around Yellow Lotus gym. Sick of the innefective homeless policies of California, Popart gave him a proposition: Fly to an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and learn to fight- if he proved an aptitude, he could become a member of the gym. As a backup, Murphy was to open a pub on the island- the only one of it’s kind- and send 10% profits back to Los Angeles. “That was probably the luckiest day of me life- coulda died in some gutter somewhere, I just happened to lay outside of the right business. If there's two things the irish know, it’s pub’s and fighting!” Murphy ran Lucky Liam’s Pub until several months before the island closed, proving to be largely helpful for the other fighters in the beginning stages of that season. His signature whiskey proved to be beneficial in getting a good night’s sleep, helping reduce the other fighter’s fatigue. Despite going a measly 7-6 on the island, Murphy charmed his way into a full time position at Yellow Lotus. Regardless of his various ineptitudes, he has shown no signs of slowing down his MMA career. “God bless Highland for the opportunity they gave me. I fully intend to stay loyal to them until the end. I made enough money to live on with the pub, and now I get to fight for the fun of it. Maybe i’ll break some longevity records- I’ve got another hundred fights in me!” When asked about his Jiu Jitsu background, Murphy had this to say: “Look, one of my problems is that for the longest time every opponent has known exactly what my plan is going into a fight. Mr. Manager wouldn’t even let me throw a punch well into my 20th fight. I’ve been training up my boxing, and it’s time to show the world that i’m a real scrappy bastard. I don’t know the gameplan for my next fight, but I do know this- eventually, I’ll get my Luck back.”

  3. The Sandman, Darsin Bleak Darsin Bleak has been on one hell of a journey. Little brother to Wulfgang Bleak, he was expected to have to try and live up to his brothers name. Little did the world know, Darsin would go on to be the looming shadow over the family name for years to come. Growing up in a small town in Texas, Darsin didn't have a lot of things to put his energy or effort into. He played football in high school and was a bulldozing running back that lead his team to the state championship. His speed was insane but his he played bigger than his size. College scouts took notice, but ultimately, he never earned a scholarship. He also dabbled in wrestling in high school, but the program was shut down to allocate funding to the new soccer team. A team which sucks, by the way. After high school, and not having the money to pay for college, Darsin took a job at a local grocery store called Baywoods Foods. He was a sacker and delivery driver for the local shrimp boat orders that flooded the store every day. In doing this, he met some interesting people but was bored and not making enough to support himself and he was tired of living with a room mate. He found a local guy who claimed he had ties to the "Street Beefs" circuit and that he should give them a go. He said those guys are all amateurs and he could probably do well there. If nothing else, it's a chance to pick up a sponsor to earn a few bucks or maybe even get him into a gym so that he can try to bulk up and walk onto a smaller college football team. After a few fights, he found he loved the thrill of the hunt. Everyone underestimated him because of his size, but after he put a few guys to sleep, people started saying that his opponents would wake up from a nightmare, earning him the nickname "Sandman." He never got a sponsorship, but he did catch the attention of Outlaw Hardman who was previously mentored his older brother. Seeing the raw talent and how focused Darsin was, he offered him a free membership at his gym and told him if he wanted to clean the place up at night, he could live in the back room free of charge. Obviously, Darsin took him up on this offer and he started putting in work. He already had a solid fundamental wrestling background, but he quickly honed in his BJJ arts as that seemed to be his bread and butter on "Street Beefs." Early on, he followed his brothers footsteps and joined WPFA where he popped off 5 submission victories in a row, the last earning him the belt. He defended it once before WPFA closed shop. Now, having a little cash in his pocket, he decided to get his own place and focus on fighting and training full time. This was his job, his future, his passion. After that first TKO victory, he realized that he enjoyed inflicting pain and started working on other aspects of his game. Shortly after, he joined GAMMA contenders where he won the top contender spot with a vicious KO victory setting up his title fight. He continued his winning ways, earning another belt before moving on to another org to face higher level competition. This is where he started his current journey in Blaze Brothers, formerly known as BBFC. There's a lot more to this story as Sandman has racked up win after win and now finds himself as one of the top lightweight fighters in the world and holding the longest active undefeated win streak of any active fighter know today. His name is starting to be known across the world, and it's a path we will follow as his career progresses.

  6. BIG WAVE MMA 1: BIG MAN TOURNAMENT RD1 PREVIEW The smell of coconut and salt water from the ocean fills the air. You can see the Merrie Monarch Festival beginning in Hilo. In celebration for this annual week long festival you can see Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation giving out macadamia nuts to everyone at the Hilo International Airport. You can take a trip by the tsunami museum and among the banyan trees planted by Babe Ruth, Amelia Earhart, and other celebs you can hear a few locals talking about how they going to go Moku Ola or Coconut Island on the 30th to the Micro Arena. You go further down the street and see a local big store called Nutritional Shaved Ice. You go inside and see a poster and pamphlets laid out with that very same destination you heard at the tsunami museum. As your curiosity peaks you open a pamphlet and see: Come tot he Micro Arena on Coconut Island on the 30th to see an event sponsored by Nutritional Shaved Ice. This event is Big Wave MMA 1: Big Man Tournament Rd1. First fight on the card is between two 18 year old fighters in the 265 pound division Red Hawk and Michael Lewis 0-1. Red Hawk is a Muay Thai fighter who will be looking to keep it standing and make this a striking battle. Michael Lewis is a former high school state champion wrestler from San Diego, CA. He will be looking to use his wrestling and try to even out his record to a 1-1 by getting the fight to the ground. Second fight on the card is between 2 fighters in the 25 year old 265 pound tournament. Wilt Madison and Samuel Adam. Wilt is 0-1 and lost a fight on the regional scene where he decided to use his wrestling and set his striking skills aside. Will that be his same game plan on the 30th or will he stand and bang? Samuel will be having his debut he has an amazing kickboxing set from his homeland of England and training in the U.S. on his wrestling to keep the fight where he wants it. Third fight on the card is between 2 145 pound fighters. At this weight class expect an action packed fight. Diogo Martins is 18 years old from Portugal who moved to Tokyo to train at Gold Samurai's Gym. They say he has a natural traditional Tae-Kwon-Do style full of it's original aerial combat tactics. Gold Samurai has said that they have been working on keeping him on the ground and using that agility and athleticism for his footwork. Will that pay off as he faces Gustav Matti a 25 year old 0-1 fighter. Gustav was on magazines in Finland when he won world's in amateur welterweight boxing at 18. He went pro and went 6-1 after a devastating KO loss at 23 he was approached by Cozad in Hilo to turn into mma. They worked on his wrestling. Fourth fight on the card is another fight in the 265 pound 25 year old tournament. Bulk Bogan is looking to use his wrestling and run wild on you brother! He spouts that he has the biggest pythons in the game with his 24" biceps. With arms that big his punches are going to hurt and his slams legendary. Randyisio Tessino is one of the most well rounded men in the tournament with boxing skills that rival even the boxing pros, average wrestling, and a blue belt in bjj. This one might very well have the future tournament winner in it. Fifth fight on the card is between 2 18 year olds making their debut at 205. Celestyn Kluz is a promising young striker from Poland who joined Gold Samurai's Gym in Tokyo to sharpen his striking and transition it to something usable in mma. Orvar Odd is a brawler with that Robbie Lawler style of using his wrestling to keep it standing and come out swinging. Expect this one to be bell to bell fireworks. Sixth fight on the card is between 2 18 year olds in the 170 pound division. Saito Hajime and Jay Read. Both fighters have similar styles Saito having more of Japanese Karate style and Jay a more Kickboxing England style. Looking forward to seeing who implements their style better as well as watching these two young fighters taking and evolving their styles. The Co-Main Event is another fight in 265 pound 25 year old tournament. The fight is between Bradley Robertson 1-0 and Kopam Nos. Bradley had recently been quoted touting his wrestling and grappling acumen. He is both a decent wrestler and a brown belt in bjj. He definitely has the skills to be able to submit anyone in this tournament. Kopam has decent wrestling and is the best natural boxer in the tournament. This is about as true a striker versus grappler match as you can get. The Main Event is the last fight in the first round of this 265 pound 25 year old tournament. Enrico Fermi is a boxer and a wrestler that has adapted what has become a common style amongst wrestlers and that using his wrestling to keep the fight on his feet while using his boxing to dismantle and drop his opponents. Snorri Borsteinn has that same style except he is a Muay Thai style fighter and uses the wrestling for also controlling his opponents in the clinch. This promises to be a slobber knocker until the very end. You put down the pamphlet and the only question left in your mind is since you are inside the business that is sponsoring the event do you go to the counter and see how to get a ticket for this event or do just pick up some of the tastiest nutritional treat and get some Nutritional Shaved Ice, leave the store, and continue on your regular vacation. What do you choose?

  12. COMBATE ANNOUNCES TEN NEW SIGNINGS QUEBRA CRANIO (Middleweight) Nationality: 🇧🇷 Record: 7-2-1 Age: 24 Rank: 194 Fact: Former WCF Middleweight Champion Brazil's own middleweight wonderkid Quebra Cranio returns to his home country with his sights firmly set on the Combate middleweight crown. Hailing from Linhares. Brazil - Cranio has power flowing through his body, with all of his seven wins coming by way of knockout, including four in the opening round. The Brazilian's final fight in WCF saw him capture the middleweight title, with a victory over Frank Diaz. Can Cranio reach his potential and become a middleweight icon? BLAZEJ BYCZKIEWICZ (Light Heavyweight) Nationality: 🇵🇱 Record: 17-9 Age: 30 Rank: 413 Fact: Former WCF Light Heavyweight Champion For Blazej Byczkiewicz, this represents an unlikely return to Combate following his one-fight in the promotion way back at Combate 21, in a loss to Pauke Murhaa. Under manager Buff Minion, Blazej captured the WCF title against long-term foe Aaron Wolf, and continued to remain at the summit of the promotion's light heavyweight division with multiple title challenges. With 16 knockouts on his record, and just one of his 26 fights going the distance, he's going to be a fun addition! Can the Polish knockout artist step up to the high-level competition in Combate's 205lbs division? RAZMIK GRIGORIAN (Middleweight) Nationality: 🇳🇱 Record: 11-3 Age: 25 Rank: 729 Fact: Riding a five-fight win streak Dutch technician Razmik Grigorian signs with Combate having put together an outstanding run, somewhat unluckily in closed organisations WCF and Hardcore. A change in management, moving from Kostas Tsaq to Alexander Biro has lead to a perfect start to 2022, after four months out of action to concentrate on training. Three wins, with two decisions and one first round knockout leads many to tout Grigorian as a potential future star at middleweight or welterweight. Grigorian has wasted no time in getting his first promotional appearance, having signed to fight Barry McCockiner at Combate 97 on May 7. Can Grigorian continue his good form? BARRON WHITE (Heavyweight) Nationality: 🇬🇧 Record: 16-5 Age: 28 Rank: 816 Fact: Former BLAZE BROTHERS Heavyweight Champion A true heavyweight knockout artist. 21 fights, 20 have ended by knockout, with 16 of those wins. His record is astonishing, with only FOUR of his fights having gone past the opening round. Originally under the tutelage of Grumpy Bastard, Teyo Ken is now handling things outside of the cage for Barron White. With four losses in his last six fights, does White have the chin to last with the elite heavyweights of the Tycoon world? TYSON ASAKURA (Welterweight) Nationality: 🇯🇵 Record: 14-8 Age: 30 Rank: 848 Fact: 17 fights with WCF Combate's recent and historical stints in Tokyo are paying dividends by attracting more Japanese talent, with welterweight Tyson Asakura joining the welterweight division. Hailing from Sapporo, Tyson's town is most famous for its beer, but Asakura will hope that he gives it a new reputation, and that's for being the home of a world champion. The outgoing funky Japanese striker wastes no time, debuting in Tokyo on May 7 against knockout artist Vlad Darko. Can Tyson fly the Japanese flag high? JOSE RONALDO (Featherweight) Nationality: 🇧🇷 Record: 18-10-1 Age: 36 Rank: 891 Fact: Five fight of the night bonuses across his career Another Brazilian returns home, with Jose Ronaldo heading back to his home nation for an end-of-career stint with Combate. 19 fights in WCF and the closure of the promotion left the featherweight looking to revive his career elsewhere. A stacked featherweight division lay in waiting for the 36-year-old. Can he make an impact at 145lbs? JACK SULLIVAN (Light Heavyweight) Nationality: 🇬🇧 Record: 4-0 MMA, 6-0 KB, 5-0 BJJ Age: 25 Rank: 1095 MMA, 70 KB, 334 BJJ Fact: TWGC 33 Heavyweight World Champion It's hard not to be impressed by Jack Sullivan's accomplishments so far in his young career. The London-born, New York-based light heavyweight has gone undefeated across three different disciplines and now attempts to join the big leagues to add a major world title to his record. His kickboxing background would suggest a heavy striking game, but grappling world title also demonstrates a well-rounded ground game too. Since signing, we're already on his third fight offer. Will someone step up to face the Brit on his Combate debut?! MAGNUS GUNNARSSON (Light Heavyweight) Nationality: 🇮🇸 Record: 13-13 Age: 30 Rank: 1137 Fact: Six wins by submission The Icelandic light heavyweight has followed a similar path to many on this list, through GAMMA Development and into WCF, but Gunnarsson is yet to truly find his home that can see him reach his potential. A submission specialist and BJJ black belt, 'The Icepick' will hope to work his way up the rankings at 205lbs to fulfil early hopes for his career. Can the Icelander turn his record into a positive one? EFRAIM TURBAN (Lightweight) Nationality: 🇮🇱 Record: 21-8 Age: 36 Rank: 1343 Fact: 6x SAFO lightweight champion The Pride of Israel, Efraim Turban is ever the entertainer and packs a punch! 17 of his 21 victories have come by way of knockout, but questions remain if the 36-year-old can mix it at the top level. He has title fight experience, having fought in no less than eight title fights in his career. Can 'Golden Boy' roll back the years? LORD MAMMON Nationality: 🇰🇲 Record: 15-8 Age: 36 Rank: 1638 Fact: Former Island Fights Champion Many expect that Lord Mammon won't have the ability to mix it at this level, but he clearly has knockout power and a huge popularity with the fans. It's going to be a fun ride either way!

Darren Russell refused to comment on speculation, but it would seem that every organisation will attempt to attract Maluga's name to their heavyweight division.

  32. Don't spam the forum with your VIP offers, there is a pinned thread for that as well as a VIP exchange that people can visit and look at. Also your offer is about half what the highest offer is. If you want people to buy your offer then offer more money.

  39. *If on mobile turn sideways SUPERNOVA XII On April 24th 2022, the biggest Rematch in MMATycoon history shall take place. On the grandest stage of them all. 5x5 Minute rounds for the Heavyweight Championship of the world. This Is SUPERNOVA 1721589829_StreamableVideo.mp4 MAIN EVENT VS. (🥇) Kilo Maluga vs. Karim Johnson (C) #1 P4P Fighter, 20x World Heavyweight champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Kilo Maluga returns to the cage to try and recapture his world title against the #2 P4P SYN and GAMMA double champ Karim Johnson. On March 13th 2022 Karim Johnson shocked the world. After working Kilo's body early in the first Karim was able to finish Him just 3 minutes and 56 seconds into the contest. The MMA community called for an immediate rematch and with both man entered into the Olympics the matchup seemed destined for the finals.... But the MMA Gods had other things in store, Pedro Fuentes played spoiler in the first round toppling Karim Johnson in 2 rounds to pull off what many are considering upset of the year. Now both men will look to redeem themselves in what may be the biggest rematch of all time. Can Kilo return to form and take back his belt or will Karim Johnson flat line him once again? CO-MAIN EVENT VS. Torhte Finlayson vs. Guilherme Godoi In a special showcase bout we decided to bring the fans a once in a lifetime contest. An openweight bout between 2 Highland champions for the SYN BIF title. Thats right, Baddest Island Fighter. In one corner you have the undisputed P4P king of Highland Torhte Finlayson. Coming in with a staggering record of 28-2 Finlayson has been dubbed by many the GOAT of Highland. He has avenged his 2 losses to the only man that beat him Sonatane Veainu with a recent TKO victory. A win over Godoi would help remove all doubt on his GOAT Status. On the other side you have Godoi. Godoi has taken 2022 by storm, winning all 5 of his fights to start the year. His win over Siale Veainu shocked the MMA world as he toppled the long standing Highland champion. He has since built on that huge win with 2 title defenses and is now gunning for Highlands #1 spot. Who will be crowned the Baddest Island Fight?!? WORLD LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP VS. (C) Joe Dinapoli vs. Just Whymer Dubbed "The king of the new era" after defeating talent Yka sonni, Joe Dinapoli will look to cement himself as the true king of 205 by taking out the most dominant light heavyweight of this generation. Many critiques have come to doubt Dinapoli after his stunning upset loss in the second round of the Olympics to Simon Gustafsson. A win over Whymer would silence all those critics. As for Whymer, He will look to build upon his historic SYN run as he attempts to capture championship #10 on his quest to break the SYN record of 13. Although currently regarded as the best Light Heavyweight of this generation, many critics believe while still elite Whymer is no longer at his peak. Will he silence the doubt and defeat Dinapoli to regain his world championship? WORLD MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP VS. (C) Jean-Claude Marceau vs. Oliver Lancaster After defeating Danny Crosby to recapture the world title, Jean-Claude Marceau looks to continue putting together a Hall Of Fame resume with a 6th world title win. Marceau took a tough loss in the opening round of the Olympics to Hall of Fame fighter Rick Piano. The huge upset led many to wonder if he has started to decline or did he just get Pianod? After going 21-11 to start his career Oliver Lancster has finally found his stride. Since droping down fron 205-185 the SFL 2 division champion has gone 9-2. This includes 3 wins over the supremely dangerous Sergey Shipilov and avenging one of his 2 middleweight losses with a first round knockout of Ryszard Wojcik. He has cleared out the SFL middleweight division and is now looking for a new challenge. Will Jean-Claude Marceau bounce back or will Oliver Lancaster take the top spot? WORLD WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP VS. (C) Angus MacArthur II vs. Max Chaos (🥇) The superfight tour continues for Angus MacArthur. After dismantling the SFL and GAMMA welterweight champions in back to back fights Angus took to calling out whoever came out on top of the Olympics. Now facing his third World champion in a row Angus MacArthur looks to cement himself as the King of welterweight for this generation. Chaos. Behavior so unpredictable as to appear random, owing to great sensitivity to small changes in conditions. A last name has never been so fitting for one man. No matter where the fight goes Max Chaos is a threat. On the feet, on the ground, in the clinch from round 1 to round 5 Max Chaos is a danger to anybody he steps into the cage with. His unpredictable and unrelenting style led him to a Olympic gold medal win. Max will look to represent SMASH on the biggest stage of them all as he takes on what many consider the Toughest test of his career. WORLD LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP VS. (C) Dick Pawlik vs. Jacque Joteel (🥇) After a dominant run Capturing the Olympic gold medal Jacque Joteel felt extremely disrespected by the MMA media when he was still ranked under Dick Pawlik. After all Pawlik was in the same Olympic tournament and lost in the first round while Joteel dominated all 3 fights. Debates have been raging on the forums but the time for talk will come to a close this weekend. With a win directly over Dick he would remove all doubt over who is the best Lightweight in the world. But thats a lot easier said than done A huge first round upset loss has left Dick Pawlik extremely motivated to prove he is still the top dog at 155. One of the greatest submission artist to ever compete in SYN, Dick will be looking to get this fight to the ground and display his dominant ground game. Who will come out as the King of Lightweight?
