  1. Hello fellow Managers! I’m Vlad, the latest addition to the MMATycoon team! I've been talking to Mike about buying a stake in MMA Tycoon for some time and we've just signed off on a 50% buy-in which sees me coming on board full-time as lead developer. My job will be to turbocharge all areas of our beloved game with over a decade’s worth of software development experience. We’re talking a total overhaul: Faster, slicker, and more fleshed out across the board. My focus will be to create new features and modernized classics with a vision of kick-starting the dawn of MMATycoon 2.0! Since 2011, I’ve been on Tycoon – from leading my own orgs to selling avatars and clothing. My journey’s had its ups and downs but I keep coming back for more of this timeless managerial experience. Now it's time for me to get involved and make it even better 🌐 The MMATycoon 2.0 Vision: We’re shifting the game’s guts to a sleek new PHP framework with a total site redesign. Smoother gameplay Mobile Friendly Lightning-fast performance And awesome features and content. 🛠 What’s in It for You? While we’re busy crafting MMATycoon 2.0, we’re not leaving the current game in the dust. Expect continuous upgrades – cleaner looks, snappier actions and fresh features rolling out, all while we will run dual versions to make the switch seamless. The old ways are making way for a new era, and you’ll start seeing changes sooner than you think. ⏳ Timeline? 2. I'm sure some of you much like my alliance members miss Tycoon Tools and the functionality that it used to provide. So, I'm recreating the original functionality that it used to provide as well as a companion GreeseMonkey script or perhaps even a Browser Extension and figured I'd reach out to the community to see whether there were any other features you guys wanted on top of what I have planned. Feel free to share some suggestions down below! If you'd like to contribute to the features by offering your spreadsheet formulas and the likes for me to implement into the site then I would be more than happy to credit you accordingly, just drop me a mail - here Current Planned Features - Random Fighter Name Generator A simple system to help those of us who aren't good with names Organisation Helper Event Overview (Event Name, Venue, Capacity, Ticket Price, Org Hype, etc) Estimated Attendance (Ticket Sales) Diminishing Ad. Returns Point Match Ups and their average Hype + Pop Pay Per View Assistant (This feature will be limited.) Organisations share data on their past PPVs by entering them manually or using the Companion Script. The data is then compiled into a forecasting model that will generate estimated PPV metrics. Contract Calculator A player can provide a link to a fighter to get a rough understanding of how much the fighter could be compensated based on their Hype and Pop. Useful for both new starters and new organisation owners as it can help them determine how much they should be paying or getting paid. The calculator uses data from the Free Agent List as well as some defined metrics so please take any values with a pinch of salt. Fighter Growth Tracker Utilising the companion tool and a registered account on the Tools website, you will be able to track your fighter's growth with a simple click of a button on the skill page. This works similarly to the Skill Extractor functionality but the data is instead sent to the server where the relevant stats are collated and tracked! No one will be able to view your fighters' progress but you: at any point, you can opt-out by deleting your Tools account which will remove all fighter data! GreaseMonkey Scripts A central place for all of the Greasemonkey scripts that I provide support for! You'll find the companion script here too but to make use of it you'll need to get a key from the tool's website, otherwise you can enter the necessary details manually. Hope this is all pretty straightforward, I'm about done with the organisation helper so I will be testing it over the next few days. The entire functionality will be released at the latest by the end of the month but don't hold me to that! Any suggestions for functionality that I could add are more than welcome, please tell me what you'd like to see and I'll do my best to accommodate it!

  3. After some investigation, the manager profiles involved in the hype farming activities (Floyd Mayweather and Caiu Montana) have been deleted as well as the World Fighting Championships organization. Players who use multiple accounts to exploit game mechanics to provide themselves with an unfair advantage and players who abuse game mechanics to harass or entrap other players into becoming unwilling participants in their cheating are in direct violation of MMAT rules and will be dealt with accordingly. On behalf of Mike and myself, let me say that I have the highest appreciation for players who go out of their way to look out for the well-being of our players and player community. Thank you.

  4. Today I went to the park to see my son, who is the only person in the whole world that I love. And then I came home on my own and I tried not to cry, because all I care about is him. No, I don't really care about this game. I don't really care about anything else. I don't care about myself or my own physical health. I don't care about my house or my shit car. I literally just care about him. And I don't get to see him for half of his life now, for the rest of the time it takes him to grow up. So I put a microwave meal in the oven and I ate it on my own. And I went on Match.com and Tinder and I scrolled through a load of people who I don't even like the look of... And I messaged a couple of people that I've been on dates with but I don't really have anything in common with. Then I played a game or Red Alert 2 and I lost that. And then I saw a mod report from the forum and it sends me here. And I shed a few silent tears as I see some cbomb take the piss out of my situation. And ya know what? This is still miles, miles better than the life I had with my ex, who literally made me wish I was dead for the last 4-5 years. We made each other soooo miserable. And yeah, that very, very, very low place I've been in for many years is why this game has gone to shit. And yes, that sucks and I'm sorry about that. When I was younger and had more energy for life, I put a lot of effort into it. I didn't just give up on the game. I basically gave up on everything. Work, friends, family, my own physical wellbeing. I basically stopped caring about anything apart from just being with my son and loving my son. I've been on anti-depressants for 20 years; literally the entire time I was with my ex. I came off them cold turkey the moment we split. That's how shit our situation was. And I feel a lot better for that. But ultimately, although it's miles better than it was a year ago, my life is still really shit. I'm really empty and really lonely. And all I want to do is be with my son. But then when I am with him, he's so intense and full of energy that all I want him to do is calm down and shut up, so I end up not even enjoying the time I DO have with him anymore, because now everything is time pressured and you're expected to entertain, not just BE. That situation is horrendous. And when he leaves, I have to try and not let him see that I'm about to cry. And I have to tell him that it's better that me and his mum don't live together anymore... Which it is. But it also kills me. So yeah... Rambo. That's what you're taking the piss out of, for a quick one liner. As for the game. I'd sell it. Or half of it or whatever. The only issue; I have a mortgage on my own now. It's based on my income. I can't just get rid of my income, then keep my house. The mortgage was £150,000. They only gave me £90,200, so I had to over-pay the difference. That £90,200 is their absolute max offer, based on my earnings. That mortgage will be up for renewal next year. So I'd have to go get a "proper job" to keep the mortgage, if I sell Tycoon. The problem with that; I look after my boy every day after school from 3pm-5.30pm at a minimum, every day, even on the days he doesn't stay at mine. That's my prime time with him. I am not giving that up. So I would have to do with a job which doesn't work past 2.30pm. I don't really think that's a thing. I'm also not really in a position right now in my life where I wanna be changing ANOTHER thing. I wanna try and keep as much of my life as stable as I can. I WILL sell a share in the site. However, please everyone understand that would be an extremely stressful process. I don't need or want that stress. I'm still not even divorced yet. I could sell to someone who then ends up doing nothing. How would that work? Could I chuck them out? Do we have a contract in place that stipulates hours? What if they fucked stuff up? Honestly, it's a complete minefield and it's the last thing I wanna do, despite the fact that I know I really need to do it. I know I'll probably get some messages about selling the site off the back of this post. I really don't have space in my brain to even read those tbh, let alone progress it meaningfully... Note though. If any of you do think about contacting me to offer to buy; 1. I don't even know how much the site earns. I have joint income from here and Bet MMA, all going into the same place. It probably earns like $15,000 a year or something. 2. You would need to be a competent in php programming. I don't see any other way that it makes sense for you or me to buy / sell, unless you have that skill. Improvements are not hard to program in theory, if you have php skills and some javascript, BUT the site doesn't earn enough to justify paying someone to do that work... You need to be able to do it yourself. My ideal situation probably would be someone to buy into the game in 10% increments, then prove their worth and their enthusiasm, by doing stuff... I kinda just don't have the energy for that process right now. But hey, baby steps in putting it out there, I guess. Yes. It's a mess. It sucks. Sorry about that. But at least for you guys it's just a game, not also your livelihood.

  5. WORLD CUP OF MMA Pre-Tournament Preview With all teams now fully registered and all fight offer now sent out, it's time to have a quick look at the teams participating and their chances of moving on from the Qualifying Group Stage. Group D Indonesia 135lbs: Jack Saragih (Blue Aurora - #86 Best) 170lbs: Mario Leonardo (Blue Aurora - #86 Best) 300lbs: Syariel Peng (Mae Joon - #78 Best) The mysterious Indonesian team prepare to do their best in what again is likely to be a very cut throat time for those top two qualifying positions. Not much is known about managers Blue Aurora and Mae Joon other than they have managed to both crack the top 100 manager ranks but are still yet to break #50 and under. All three of their fighters are completely untested at this point leaving us very little to go on and even less to write. So with that in mind, I’ll take this opportunity to list just a couple of fun factoids about Indonesia such as it being the worlds largest archipelago and the home of the Komodo dragon! Expecting Indonesia to be competitive but ultimately, with not much to go on other than current manager ranks, I’m predicting them a third place finish this time around. Predicted Group Finish: 3rd Fighter Watch: Syariel Peng Kazakhstan 135lbs: Borat Sagdiyev (Squirrelly Dan - #3 Best) 170lbs: Kazhymukan Manaitpasov (Alfred Winterbottom - #6 Best) 300lbs: Heavy Kazak Six (Dakota Thibodeaux - #24 Best) Three last minute, fill the gaps fighters recruited by three super cool and helpful gentlemen simply for make benefit glorious nation of Kazakhstan. Actually on paper, if it wasn’t for how late a couple of these fighters were created, it would be a pretty decent little team. At 135lb, the man himself, Borat Sagdiyev! Utterly unknown and untested, lets hope Borat turns out to be a top prospect, if only to one day see that avatar as Syn champion. At 170lbs, some granite chinned unpronounceable wrestler might actually pick up the odd win along the way but it’s the lovingly named Heavy Kazak Six at super-heavyweight who we are excited about most. Knockout power just where you need it and guided by high chief of the Thibodeaux tribe himself, Dakota Thibodeaux. Maybe those heavy hands will be able to make up for the fact he’s had about two minutes training? Very grateful for Mr. Squirrelly and Mr. Thibodeaux for likely sacrificing their manager ranks just to make up the numbers. Underdogs are always fun so lets see if we can pull off some upsets but otherwise expect Kazakhstan to finish rock bottom of Group D Predicted Group Finish: 4th Fighter Watch: Heavy Kazak Six USA 135lbs: Harper Quarry (Rush Greyson - #88 Best) 170lbs: Chayton Catawanee (Tycoon Judas - #18 Best) 300lbs: Remington Knox (Squirrely Dan - #3 Best) Did someone call for some freedum? Well never fear, Team Murica is here and never before have you seen such a collection of badass, black ops types in one place. First up is Rush Greyson who is well known for being behind the infamous SolarWinds cyberattack in 2020. He was given the choice between a lengthy prison service or joining the FBI. Suffice to say he chose the latter and now gets to play MMATycoon for most of his day. Then you have Tycoon Judas aka Butch Harris aka Unstable Judas. He is clearly the groups wildcard responsible for providing unpredictable behaviour and cerebral shit talk. Both of these gents are SO badass that they didn’t even bother to test their fighters. Rounding them out is the Squirrelly one, Squirrelly Dan. He is said to stand six feet and seven inches and have the kind of hand span that leads woman to make some very generous assumptions about the size of his manhood. He did test his fighter but maybe wished that he didn’t. Who cares what fighters are on this team. This is the America and America is ALWAYS number one. Fuck Yeah. Predicted Group Finish: 1st Fighter Watch: Remington Knox Bhutan 135lbs: Genko Yeshuati (Peter of Rivia - #68 Best) 170lbs: James Penn (Steel Penn - #105 Best) 300lbs: Drangme Chhu (Joe River - #3 Best) Another dark horse team full of promise and wonder, the Bhutanese are our final team of the tournament and rounding out Group D. Three experienced managers will be bringing three largely untested specimens to do battle with only bantamweight Genko Yeshuati having seen any action inside the cage before this tournament starts. He showed some serious determination in his fight which will hopefully stand him in good stead throughout. 2009 OG’s Steel Penn and Joe River elected to Iron Man this one which, whilst you have to respect, it does leave us wondering just how good this Bhutan team can be? Predicting Bhutan to qualifying in second place here but that is largely based on the tenure of their managers. Should those unknowns be duds, it will make qualifying much less of a certainty Predicted Group Finish: 2nd Fighter Watch: Genko Yeshuati

  6. GOAT Heavyweight IRON MAN boxing tournament - Preview with Larry Holmes Good evening boxing fans. It's me, Larry. The Greatest. I've been asked to write some opinions about the upcoming IRON MAN boxing tournament's first round. I was ready to refuse, but $100 is $100. This is why I'm a millionaire and all these uneducated tramps are bankrupt. I should be in this tourney as clear favourite, but of course, they left The Easton Assassin out again. I know why this is, and why it's always been like this, it's because each and every fighter in this list is afraid to fight me. They had their trainers bribe the org and get me excluded. I guess they did the same to lock out the other best fighters, nearly in my class, like Leon Spinks, the second greatest of all time, for example. So here goes. I have ten fights featuring 20 assorted bums to preview.

  7. WORLD CUP OF MMA Pre-Tournament Preview With all teams now fully registered and all fight offer now sent out, it's time to have a quick look at the teams participating and their chances of moving on from the Qualifying Group Stage. Group C China 135lbs: Autobot One (AL CORP) 170lbs: Autobot Three (AL CORP) 300lbs: Autobot Two (AL CORP) What do you do when you need to quickly fill a specific gap in a market shortage? Well, you import a load of crap from China of course! And that’s exactly what we have here. Three very likely useless, poorly built autobots that would be lucky to pick up a single individual win in this tournament. Completely untested and created slightly late, this Chinese team are dead certs for last place. Predicted Group Finish: 4th Fighter Watch: Don't Bother Mexico 135lbs: Ominous Odinson (Cynic Chris - #6 Best 170lbs: Loco Coco (Scottie 2 Hottie - #20 Best 300lbs: Judas Gonzalez (Albert Summertop - #22183 Best) Viva la Mexico! It’s the boys from south of the border. This team almost didn’t happen after Karter did his usual cowardly disappearing act but due to the awesomeness of a certain Albert Summertop, the team could finally be registered as complete. Of course Summertop is going to be an anchor of epic proportions so it’ll be down to the spicy taco Cynic Chris aka Miami Meat and his compadre Scottie 2 Hottie to steer this migrant train to glory. When properly motivated, Cynic Chris is as adept a scout as you’ll find and is often told by his many girlfriends that he “googles too deep”. A chance for him to step out of the small but imposing shadow of his alliance leader Chris Karter and finally get the attention and love he so desperately craves. Scottie 2 Hottie too has been leading a camp of highly regarded fighters of late and his welterweight Loco Coco looks to be a decent future prospect initially and possibly this teams MVP. Despite the major handicap in management staff, I’m picking Mexico to finish top of the group and move on into the next round. Predicted Group Finish: 1st Fighter Watch: Loco Coco Belgium 135lbs: Lucas Van Den Broeck (John Daugherty - #16 Best) 170lbs: Ryan Gordon (Antonio Maximus - #22 Best) 300lbs: Kurt Waffles (Anthony Partridge - #19 Best) Only a handful of good things come from Belgium like Jean Claude Van Damme, chocolate and waffles and owing to John Daugherty’s abysmal cursed run of luck in these types of tournaments, I doubt we will be adding this Belgium team to that list. On the management side, a collection of capable seasoned vets will be pooling their collective experience together in order to make it out of the group but on the fighter side, things are a little unclear. Uber Belgian Ryan Gordan is completely untested though he does have a sweet bio. Lucas Van Den Broeck at bantamweight looks to have a little firepower about him so he could potentially be one to watch but 300lber Kurt Waffles is still yet to have his first test fight at the time of writing so his potentially is still to be determined. Picking Belgium to just miss out on qualifying from this group though in truth, it could end up being a very competitive one and with Belgium getting some good results here and there. Prediction is based purely on the fact the tournament gods constantly smite John for some prior misgiving in an earlier life. *Waffles rolled Granite chin. Does that change things? Lets find out! Predicted Group Finish: 3rd Fighter Watch: Lucas Van Den Broeck Poland 135lbs: KO Kapustka (Gut Punch - #32 Best) 170lbs: Serwacy Smolarek (Roman Benson - #91 Best) 300lbs: Brave Hut (Forfiter elPolako - #25 Best) A proud nation of tough carpenters, bricklayers and plumbers made strong by the delicious and hearty flavours of bigos and pierogis. These winged hussars are about to swoop into the battlefield armed with sharp spears and hazelnut vodka. At bantamweight there is the big hearted KO Kapustka who might do well what looks like a predominately striker based group division and at 170lbs there is Serwacy Smolarek who is said to have some Polish Power level strength in those hands of his. Probably the most interesting of the trio though is 300lb Brave Hut. Named after a famous Polish pizza chain, he is said to have a pretty decent chin tried and tested in the many pubs and clubs of Warsaw. It’s going to be tooth and nail for those two qualifying spots in this group but I’m predicting this Poland team end up in one of them. Predicted Group Finish: 2nd Fighter Watch: Brave Hut

  8. @Mentor - all the same game, no second server etc... Just a total revamp of the site and code to bring it up to the next level. You never know in future about a second server but that's not in the immediate plans. I'll be sending out a mass mail welcoming Vlad on board in a min... I'm very happy to have him on board and I'm sure you guys all will be too, when you see the updates start rolling out

  10. I'm gone for a little bit (ok, about two years I suppose) and now that I'm back you still haven't managed to kill off this dying game. By now it has been dying for longer than most games live goddammit! Sure the manager pool may have thinned a little further, but most of the dinosaurs still left won't leave until the next ice age. No, instead of the whole thing being flushed down a gold-plated toilet like I would have expected I'm seeing: Nice community initiatives 400K promising another burst of activity soon like big tournaments Old managers returning Cheaters getting their fingers slapped And.. actual development happening? Small steps at first but a huge step for the game. It may be calmer than it used to at the moment, but rather than the stillness of death I'm seeing some signs of life. And some disturbing signs as well to be honest.. looking at the rankings now. Why is everyone walking around bow-legged? Except for CK.. just sitting there smiling playing his banjo murmuring something about how they all squeal like pigs. Yeah, we definitely do need some fresh blood in here.. but if we got that we could make Tycoon great again.

  11. Nikolai Valuev Lennox Lewis vs These fighters are, at least, grown men. Valuev can't fight, everyone knows that. He's just a clumsy giant. I'd beat him with one hand. Either one, you name it. POW! Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! His size wouldn't cause me a problem at all. Look how I took care of Butterbean. Lewis, I have a little respect for. He's a smart boxer (he had the sense to duck me during my comeback), but not as smart as me. Perhaps he would make the top ten. But who did he really fight? I beat Gerry Cooney! I'd figure him out. I'd go Jab, WHACK! Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! And just when he's expecting a jab, jab, whack, BOOM! I'd let him have a Jab, whack, jab, jab, BOOM! Game over Limey! I think Lennox will go Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab quite a bit. In round 5 he'll finish it with a BOOM! But that's only a Lewis BOOM! It's not as good as a Larry Holmes' BOOM! Larry

  12. Gene Tunney Wladimir Klitschko vs Tunney can box a little, and so can Wladimir. These guys look pretty even to me. Tunney is good at throwing real precise punches for sure. I'd give the edge in athleticism and power to Klitschko, but Tunney has never been KO'd, so who knows? Rumour has it that Klitschko's trainer had to be replaced at the last minute, and the guy they appointed doesn't have much of a reputation. Maybe that will be the deciding factor? These guys aren't real champions anyway. I could have fought them both at once. Jab, jab, jab, POW! Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! Larry

  13. Hello everybody…and welcome to…Sucker Punch Pro Series: EVOLUTION! What is this all about, you ask? SPPS closed doors just a few months ago after a failed changing of hands, didn’t it?!? The answer to that second question, is, “Yes, it did. And I, Hare, feel awful about the way things went after I turned the org over. But for all things that happen in life, sometimes they happen for a reason! A chance to step back, look at the landscape, see what’s going on, and see…where something new might be needed!” So now we move onto the first question…which is likely coupled with, “Evolution? What Evolution?” So let me answer that question, and I think that’ll set us up to get to all the rest! Over the past almost four months since I stepped away from Sucker Punch Pro Series, I’ve had the chance to sit back and think about some of the trends this game tends to see over and over again. I’ve been around for about four years now, so I’m not new at this point and I’ve had the chance to see not only the minor cycles the game goes through, but some of the bigger, longer trends that have happened as well. Let’s touch on that first part…the typical cycles. I think most of us have seen it…a new ID cycle comes around, say, 390k, 400k, whatever…and you immediately get anywhere (changes slightly over time as the game ages) from 2-5 new orgs popping up that want to run as restricted ID orgs for the new range. And what inevitably happens is one or two of them fall off quickly, either due to inexperience of the owners, or underestimation of the time required to run it well, or just boredom and quick burnout. Not all can survive and we see that happen pretty quickly, usually in the first month or two. Then a few last…for a bit. Eventually one or more of the owners wear down or have priorities in life change…and they either sell out…or merge…to another org. Now you’re down to one or two orgs remaining in that range. That’s usually in the six month to a year range…and then over time eventually you end up with maybe one remaining, if that, with very little choice for folks who have guys in those ranges who aren’t ready for unrestricted yet, but at the same time may not be happy with the way the existing orgs run, or maybe the orgs are being neglected a bit, whatever. Long story short, you get to a point where at least half of the folks in the unrestricted space for those ID’s want to fight restricted still, at least for a bit more, but don’t have many options. That’s where the 380-390k space is right now. There are a couple orgs remaining, but not many. And the few remaining fall into multiple categories…run well but packed to a degree, or neglected a bit with periods of inactivity, or in the case of one, actively looking to be sold and transferred. If you like options, and don’t want to go unrestricted, there may not be many for you at this point. But that will change over time…many of the 380k guys are getting close to ready for unrestricted, or already are. But some aren’t. Some of the guys closer to 385k may be in the same boat, but more are still looking to fight restricted a bit longer. And the scale slides a bit as you move along. THAT’S WHERE *PART* OF THE EVOLUTION KICKS IN!!! First, Sucker Punch Pro Series is rising from the ashes to step into that space. What space, you ask? The 380k+ space?!? Well, yes…and no! The answer is, “That slowly changing space over time where there’s a need for orgs to be around to support them, but one that morphs as we go, that doesn’t need to suddenly go unrestricted or die off…one where the ID scale…slides. Meaning, over time the range will move…eventually to 382k+…then 384k+…etc. As needed. As makes sense and fits the barren space that always seems to exist…and that exists more and more over time as the game does dwindle a bit. *** So for those who just want to know the straight answer: SPPS: Evolution will start up again at 380k+…for now. *** “But Hare, that’s not really an evolution is it?!? We’ve seen that tried a couple other times, more or less. What else makes this an Evolution?!?” Great question! Let’s get into that, because I think it’s part of what’s going to switch this from just fitting a need, to adding some fun value as well!!! SPPS: EVOLUTION BECOMES A PSEUDO ‘LADDER CHALLENGE’ ORG!!! Anybody who has been involved with me and SPPS previously knows darn well that I pride myself on trying to do something a little different, add something a little extra, whatever you want to call it. Not to become all egotistical and patting my own back much here, but I think it’s honest and true to say that SPPS was one of the few, if not one of the only, orgs in modern MMAT times to go completely from startup at restricted all the way to unrestricted…not only successfully…but in the process becoming one of the Top 2-3 orgs in the game. Talking to other peeps, the reasons for that were varied, but some of them were due to the write-ups, some due to the matchmaking, something we spent a TON of time focused on (well over half our time invested) and some of it due to simply trying our best to keep our manager engaged and involved. Those are things we’ll continue to try to do here again. But… …The biggest change here this time around will be the ladder challenge aspect of the org! We’ll be focused on fighter call-outs…giving lower P4P ranked fighters, which in many cases may translate to higher ID, lower aged, a chance to pick who they want to fight next...and allowing that to be the primary and first way that matchups are made. There will be many logistical rules around how that work that I’ll go over later, but suffice it to say that getting to the top will be a challenge. Staying at the top even more so! For many fighters in the org, given the space we’ll be filling, this will be something that prepares those who are getting ready to graduate to unrestricted the chance to really see what they’ve got and if they’re ready! Obviously, if there aren’t callouts on the board for fighters, then I’ll fall back upon my own matchmaking skills, which will probably come into play half the time, but I can assure you I’ll be spending quality time doing those just as before. And those who know me know that at the restricted level, I focus more on ID, age and primary skill evaluations much more than I do P4P rankings. P4P rankings are a primary concern once you graduate to unrestricted in my mind. But I know many of you still do look and care to some degree about that, so this org gives you a chance to focus on that aspect some...and choose your destiny as you work towards the top! Want to know more about the actual details of how this org will run going forward? Head on to the next post! But in the meantime, I’m excited to offer a new option for folks out there, and hope it serves some purpose for those who are looking for something a little different!

  14. Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and fans of the sport, Today marks a monumental moment in the world of mixed martial arts as we gather to honor and celebrate the career of a true legend, Kilo "Bloodbath" Maluga. As he steps out of the cage and into the next chapter of his life, we reflect on the unparalleled legacy he leaves behind. Kilo Maluga isn't just a name; it's a symbol of dedication, resilience, and sheer dominance in the octagon. With a record of 67 wins and 15 losses, all wins achieved by TKO/KO, he didn't just defeat his opponents; he left an undenyable mark on the sport. Each fight was a testament to his unparalleled skill, unwavering determination, and unyielding spirit. His journey to greatness began 2018-10-06 when the Bloodbath all started. 15. So I don't think it's particularly fair I write a preview for this because one side is just much more faster, stronger, more handsome, smart, better at giving hugs, emotionally available, and also talented. The other side also happens to have a scottie, but that's about it. But against my better judgement: Georgia vs. Mexico Final Preview 135lb Mikheil Berishvili vs Ominous "Where's Alfred's demanding nationality requirements now?" Odinson This Mexican team is full of frauds! Ominously, this is the type of team that the corrupt ruling body has had to send to try and stop the glorious march of Georgia. Allegedly born in Mexico with a name that really reflects his parent's alleged Vatican roots, Odinson openly admits conning the authorities to let him into the competition. You can't fool us - Team Georgia at one point WAS Team Vatican City (until Alfred said no). We know a true Vatican City brother when we see one, and you aint it. Odinson is a plant! More dodgy than a used car salesman from Florida. Nationality aside, Odinson's coaching been shrouded in deep mystery. Manager meat has been suspiciously quiet, allegedly discovering Tinder and Gym about 10 years after everyone else. With this occupying most of his time, it's incredible that Odinson remains the only undefeated fighter in the competition. Granted he's had to deal with tough competition such as Autobot One, it's still a nice curiosity. Luckily from Team Georgia, we have a fighter that continues to break the mould and snatch wins from much more fancied opponents. After making Alfred's cheatcode of a roll his 4th wife, Mikheil Berishvili will be looking to reach for the stars again and clamp down on this fraudster. I don't need to write much about him because it's already been said, but I rate his chances as "Very Nice"/10 to pick up a stunning victory if he can dodge those hands. 170lb Buck Bolkvadze vs Loco Coco "Pops with warm milk please" Probably the only genuine Mexican on the roster, Loco Coco saw I was talking shit about his mediocre results so far and he ended up winning his semi-final matchup to give Team Mexico the overall win. In a way, he has some similarities to our hero Buck Bolkvadze. Similar height, similar attributes, similar comfort in the clinch. However, that's where it ends. Buck's a diverse finisher that can do it on the feet and on the ground. He has multiple tools in the clinch and can smash people at range with his kicks. Mr Coco Pops has some boxing and managed to pitter patter his way to a decision against Peacock in the clinch, but his ground stats are all faked from his first test fight. Team Mexico and Frauds, name a more iconic duo? We'll wait. "But what about his win over Peacock?" I hear you say. Well knowledgeable fans will know that Buck forgot to actually gameplan against Peacock in their match, and simply gave up after realising his teammates had already finished their Australian opponents. No need to expend that extra energy. Fight smarter, not just harder. While we are true believers in MMA Math, it's when all the variables are equal and not including Team Georgia's use of 'Moral Victories'. Subsequently, Coco Pop's best win so far (a UD) doesn't really matter that much heading into this fight. Buck to finish this cereal pest any way he wants (if he feels like it)*. Clinch pull guard sub? Knee to the face? Axe Kick? Tune in to find out. *If Buck loses it's because he didn't feel like winning due to being so gracious to his opponents. 300lb Robbie Banks vs Judas CONzales The third Team Mexico fraudster is in the house! Conzales has significant direct links to the competition organiser. How's that for integrity? That 1-4 record has really carried Team Mexico, and there should be an investigation into how this Conster even made it to this competition. Between him and Odinson, if this competition had any integrity the decision to make would be to disqualify Team Mexico, but alas, the Tycoon Dollars have been exchanged and the attempted fix has been put in. To keep it short, he doesn't have a chance against the big hearted Robbie Banks if it was a fair fight. Conzales only cut Wallaby once in their fight, which ominously doesn't bode well for his chances of putting down the immortal Robbie Banks. Wallaby cuts more than any emo I've ever seen, but Conzales barely tickled him. Robbie on the other hand is this time REALLY taking his time to consider the fight. He's been fooled into a dance off twice in a row now versus teams with very influential spy agencies. Team Mexico on the other hand? I'm not sure what their intelligence service is even called - it certainly doesn't get movies made about it. I guess it's always a possibility that actually they have the best one because no one has ever heard of it. You'll never look at the aunties on each street corner selling tamales the same again. They could all be spies! Fortunately for Team Georgia, Bank's manager Scootz has been doing some IRL research into Latino culture if you know what I mean. We expect this counter-intelligence to help significantly. I expect Robbie to prove that third time's the charm and to get Conzales down and beat him until he wants no more. With some discussed tweaks, we should see Robbie back to his smothering best and get the big dub.

  16. Mexico vs. Australia Preview So because they might feel left out, I have decided to also do a Mexico vs Australia preview. Team Georgia has actually faced off against Australia already, hence why I am also assuming the position of expert to write this preview. I guess if anything, this proves that Group A was the best since it ended up being a close finish to progress and now both representatives have reached the semi finals. Team 'Losing on Technicalities' Sweden and Team "Nice" Djibouti must both be filthy they got put in such a competitive group. I don't quite remember which group Team Mexico were from, but I'm sure they were very friendly, though obviously inferior to Group A overall. 135lb Ominous "I'm really Mexican" Odinson vs Mick "Now this is a Noife!" Taylor This is a very interesting matchup with both guys doing incredibly well in their matchups so far and being real lynchpins for their team. Odinson has won every single fight of his so far, including tryharding his own trial, with a pretty peculiar looking build on the surface. He appears to have primaries in a bit of everything and doing his best to trick everyone into thinking he's a brand new player with a build like that. Who knew Coach Meat was a spreader? On the other hand, Mick Taylor also almost has a perfect record, with his only blemish coming against our abovementioned Georgian hero Mikheil Berishvili. His gameplan revolves around grabbing people without their consent (seemingly a theme in this Aus team) and deploying his ground game. However, he's yet to really face anybody that could knock his block off and Odinson definitely has some juice. However, because it's 135, smart money would be on the King of No Consent on the Aus team and his manager PJ to get some ground control and get a win. It's definitely still an open book though, as it would be foolish to underestimate Odinson and the power of gym + Tinder behind him. 170lb Loco Coco "Nut" vs Drew "A" Peacock Moving to the 170 matchup, we've got two guys with some chin and so far, a mixed campaign. Loco recently came in clutch to help defeat the rampaging Scots, while Drew had the most impressive performance of the tournament against fan favourite Buck Bolkvadze. It's not particularly fair to say anybody is anchoring teams that have made it this far, but it's also the truth to say that these guys have both had indifferent campaigns so far. Because of that, it's every bit as pivotal as the 135 matchup. Where that might be a (tiny) unstoppable force vs a (tiny) immovable object, this is more kind of a "yeah these guys were also part of the team" situation. I'm not sure anybody would have picked that before this campaign though, given the two managers behind them. The winner will be decided by who gets to dictate where the fight takes place. I was memeing about Monkey's patented "wrestling primaries to fool them into thinking I'm a grappler if they don't look closely but I'm actually a clincher" build, but Peacock legitimately actually is that with a hard head behind it. Loco Coco on the other hand fights more at range and this is where he'd want to use his small reach advantage. To be honest, I'd prefer a danceoff instead to show us who the real king of the streets is. 300lb Ryan "but in a streetfight, bro" Wallaby vs "Literally" Judas Gonzalez Wait a second, who is this manager behind Gonzalez? The conspiracy deepens! Corruption! I blame the CIA. Then you have Hopson, who really seems like the kind of bloke who would love Mexicans. A perfect matchup for him. Both these fighters like to stand and bang. They do their best to imitate all the Kimbo Slice videos they've watched online because on these tough streets, there's no such things as rules (except for no grappling allowed, no low blows, sportsmanship reach arounds mandatory, etc). It's a tough one to pick because "Streetfight" Wallaby would probably be given the edge on a regular basis, but he has shown he's a bit of an emo cutter. Overall, it's my expert opinion that Team Australia may have what it takes to turn the boats back and send Team Mexico back to their nice weather and delicious food. However, it's really tight to call and all three matchups could really go in either direction. Either way, neither of them have anything for Team "Moral Victory" Georgia who have obviously won the tournament regardless of the actual results vs Engerland in their future semi.

  17. Quarter-Final Recap Greetings good people. I have to admit that this tournament has not quite been the fun filled, write up extravaganza that was promised at the start and for that, you really only have yourselves to blame. If not for your palpable apathy and general Alex K-esque eeyore like attitudes, I’m sure that I would have been far more motivated to document this glorious tournament with the enthusiasm that it deserves. Anyway, as I had a few minutes to spare, I thought I would give a brief recap of recent events. First matchup of the knockout stages featured the fake Georgian team taking on the real Americans. They tried fighting for the rights of every man but after such a stellar group stage performance, it all came crashing down and now it hurts inside. One positive for them however is that Remington Knox’s overworked back can now breath a sigh of relief after carrying both his teammates the entire way. He bows out of the tournament with an undefeated 4-0 record. Not the only high flyer to have been kneecapped by his team but still noteworthy. Next up, fighting for King and Country, the valiant English team dispatched the filthy waffle eaters of Belgium with a similar ease as how they single-handedly saved the world from Nazi occupation. Many thought that Belgium might have given them a fight after moving through the group stage undefeated but no, clearly they had not faced anyone of England’s might and as soon as they did, they melted like the chocolate teapots that they are. On the other side of the bracket we had Team Mexico continuing to make a mockery of this tournament after brushing aside surprise outfit Team Scotland. Up until now, the bastard Scots had shocked everyone they had faced and managed to conquer their group undefeated. Mexico on the other hand just about managed to slip through their group like an illegal across the Rio Grande. Somehow though they managed to overcome the surprise strength of the sickly, pale looking zombies from the greylands and move into the Semi-Finals of the tournament. The final match up of the knockout stages featured high flying Indonesia who had also managed to carve through their group undefeated facing off against the flukey Aussies who wouldn't have even been here but for a technicality. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, Australia decided to step it up a little bit and start to look like the team they were expected to be. Bad timing for Indonesia as they went down two fights to one and exit the tournament after some very impressive results. So now the Semi-Finals are looking a little like this. Georgia vs. England Mexico vs. Australia It should be another exciting round of World Cup action so don’t forget to tune in to see what happens.

  18. Joe Frazier Mike Tyson vs No disrespect to Tyson at all, but he is an angry little dwarf. He's only this high! I fought him once. Bit of an embarrassing story, but I'll tell it anyway. So, I'm fighting Tyson and completely out boxing the punk, but I keep sipping over! I don't know if it was my footwear or the canvas, but every now and then I would just slip and fall on my ass! I'm a pro, so I kind'a just shrugged it off and carried on. Then, would you believe it, I slip again and my shorts get snagged on the canvas edging, and I can't get up! The referee completely misrepresents events and calls it a KO! Robbed again! I think Don King had the whole thing planned. Referee bribed, canvas greased. All a set up. I have to admit, Tyson punches quite hard. Not Ernie Shavers or Ken Norton hard, but quite hard. He got me a couple of times as I was already slipping over and couldn't defend myself. Not putting Tyson down, he's a great guy, but he is a cheating hoodlam and a disgrace to boxing. Frazier is a real fighter from the 1970s, when Men were Men. He was a furious puncher and didn't stop moving forward. That wasn't my style at all, but I probably would have been the best ever at that too if I'd tried. He beat Ali once and even came out victorious from a fight with the legendary Jerry Quarry. Those were the days. I never got to fight him, he retired just to dodge me, but I did beat up his son. Larry says that Frazier gets the win. Tyson would save Frazier the trouble of chasing him and be right there trading for Frazier to KO with a hook from hell. Of course Frazier is better. All these fighters from the 90s and later are useless. The 1970s were Ok, but the real Golden Age was the 80s, and I was the greatest of all! Enjoy the fights - Larry

  19. George Foreman Tyson Fury vs George Foreman is a bully. A big brute who can't box. He dodged me his whole career. He is so overrated! His punches are predictable. They're gonna hurt, but a great fighter like me, would dance all around, making him miss. Ali tried that in their fight, but Ali didn't have the skill I have, so he gave up and sat on the ropes. Luckily for him, George is stupid and tired himself out anyway and got KO'd. Later, Ali pretended that the whole tactic was deliberate. Yeah, right. If George hadn't always ducked me, I would have done the job properly. His 'George Foreman Grill' is overrated too. I could have designed it better. If it's so healthy, why's he so fat? Tyson punches hard, and no fighter wants to be hit by him. He often feints, and opponents can find it hard to get into the rhythm they want to be in. In fact he is quite unpredictable generally. You need to be a real master of the game, like me, to keep concentration and avoid getting hurt. I could beat him of course with some of my trademark Jab, jab, jab, BOOM! Tyson isn't as smart as me, but he's smart enough to beat lumbering George. Larry says Fury wins by KO. Larry

  20. Sonny Liston Muhammed Ali VS Hey didn't these guys fight before? Sonny Liston is not in my league as a boxer. He is all big and scary, but he's not smart like me. He'd be trying to KO me and shit, but I would be going jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! Not in my league. Oh look everyone, it's old Bigmouth himself. Muhammed Ali. Not even his real name. I beat him. He could be the best boxer at heavyweight, apart from myself, Spinks, Shavers and Cooney. This man calls himself "The Greatest" but I'm The Greatest. He stole that name from me. When I was just a kid on welfare back in Easton, no older than nine or ten, I made that name up for myself - Even before I took up boxing! There's just no way Ali thought of it first. Ali and I used to be close. We would spend the days sparring. I'd be teaching him everything he knows. Just two buddies working out. One day, I told Ali about my plan to be known as The Greatest. He stole my idea. Last time these guys fought, Liston was beaten. He knew Ali was in the ring, but Ali was so skinny he couldn't see him properly. It was like trying to fight a dangling piece of string he told me later. Ali's put on some weight since then, so let's see if it makes a difference. Ali's hard to KO and too stupid to know when he's losing. I believe this gives him the advantage in this rematch. I'd beat either of them. Larry

  21. Jack Johnson Rocky Marciano vs Are these old timer's still fighting? Jack Johnson is hard to hit. I know because I am too. Virtually every fighter, except me, would have trouble finishing this guy. He's pretty badass. I think it's going to take someone who can at least match him for height and build to defeat him. I'm big enough, but they didn't invite me, did they? Rocky Marciano couldn't hold my jockstrap. Hehe. I know I've used that one before, but it always gets a laugh! What did Rocky do anyway? He fought a few guys, sure. He retired undefeated, sure. He beat up Mr T, sure. He's white, so what? My record is better. I fought real fighters. In the 1970s and 1980s, when Men were Men. I could have retired undefeated if I wanted to. I'd have gone jab, jab, whack, whack, jab, jab, jab, jab. Then jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! All the crowd would be singing Larry! Larry! Then there'd be some really moving music, and everyone, especially chicks, would say "You did it Larry. You really are The Greatest!" Johnson will win this one. Larry

  22. Evander Holyfield Jack Dempsey vs Holyfield is a good fighter, he knows how to jab and follow it up, but I'm better. I fought him once, but it was fixed. I won that fight. Right at the end, I caught a glimpse of the scorecard and it made me vomit - Literally! Those fixed judges had Holyfield ahead! Those guys are criminals. I waited for hours in the car park afterwards, hoping to kick his ass in a street fight like I did Trevor Birbick, but he didn't show up. I think that says it all. Jack Dempsey? That kid is too small man. I would have him at arm's length, I'd be saying "come on boy, hit me if you can!" and he'd be all tiny and angry. He'd come at me all mad and swarmy. I'd go Jab, jab, jab, WHACK! Jab, jab, BOOM! Fighting the best boxer-puncher that ever lived is no job for a child. Come and try me when you grow up Dempsey! They say Dempsey has the best trainer in the business, but I think Holyfield will take this one with some good combinations at just the right time. Larry

  23. WORLD CUP OF MMA Pre-Tournament Preview With all teams now fully registered and all fight offer now sent out, it's time to have a quick look at the teams participating and their chances of moving on from the Qualifying Group Stage. Group B England 135lbs: Luke Smith (Alfred Winterbottom - #6 Best) 170lbs: Charles Traynor (Jimmy Normal - #60 Best) 300lbs: Vyvyan Bastard (Monkey !!! - #5 Best) It would be easy to say that this here is the team that will dominate this tournament from beginning to end without much trouble but then that would seem pretty cocky and the English aren’t known for their cockinesses. Instead I will just say that this is a very good team that is likely to dominate the tournament from beginning to end and is likely to do so without much trouble. One little hiccup was that Monkey decided to be clever and not test his fighter so it’s very possible that 300lber Vyvyan Bastard is a useless pile of shit but as Monkey seems to be some kind of tournament wizard, we’ll forgive him. Luke Smith at 135lber looks to be the most obvious MVP of the team with his chin made of iron and his genius manager Alfred Winterbottom guiding him to glory. Rounding out the team is some Canadian weirdo who seems to have a thing for the Queen. Clearly going to stomp the group and then probably win the whole thing. God save the King! Predicted Group Finish: 1st Fighter Watch: Luke Smith Wales 135lbs: Callum Walsh (Dillo The Manager - #183 Best) 170lbs: Robbie Mullen (Dillo The Manager - #183 Best) 300lbs: Jeremy Corbyn (Bob Slay - #127 Best Well well well boyo, if it isn't the bastard Welsh. Highly inbred and terribly stupid. Also sheep aficionados of the highest order. To be honest, they’re pretty harmless overall but every now and again they get a little above their station and the English have give them a little kicking just to remind them who’s boss. Exactly what’s about to go down here actually. Just two managers make up this poor excuse of a Welsh team and their fighters don’t look too bad at the lowest two weights. A shame they are managed by notorious Panda hater Dillo The Manager. I’m predicting these guys to be the groups whipping boys though they might do a little better if they can get a good result against the Scots. They’ve no chance against the English though that’s for damn sure. Predicted Group Finish: 4th Fighter Watch: Robbie Mullen Canada 135lbs: Michele Rene Gaspard (Todd Westacott - #27 Best) 170lbs: Brody McDonald (Bradley Burns - #1 Best) 300lbs: Jean Francois LaFleur (Jason Swanson - #5 Best) Canada eh? America’s less cool and less freedom loving little cousin. To make matters worse they tend to speak French too. Well, French-ish. The actual French can’t understand them all that well so can you really call it French? Either way, no one likes the French. Anyway, these three maple slurping goons could pose a problem to the other teams in this group with three capable managers including consistent #1 Bradley Burns. Luckily he hasn’t bothered to test so his 170lber Brody McDonald could be a dud. Probably their best looking fighter is big Jean Francois LaFleur who is said to have few teeth and heavy hands. Not quite sold on the fighters as yet but the management team here is solid. Predicting that Canada make it out of this group but in second place behind the might of England. Predicted Group Finish: 2nd Fighter Watch: Jean Francois LaFleur Scotland 135lbs: Sir Randy Elliot (Master Tessin - #64 Best) 170lbs: Alex Gray (Cope T - #13 Best) 300lbs: Panda McLeod (Pika Choo - #31 Best) If there’s one thing worse than the bastard Welsh, it’s the bastard Scots. Skirt wearing, Irn Bru guzzling, pale, pasty, miserable and now all of a sudden soft. These Scottish lads are going to find things very tough against some solid competition. Welterweight Alex Gray could be a solid prospect for them but it’s Sir Randy Elliot at bantamweight that looks like the real star of the team. Guided by Master Tessin who just had a great run in the League of Madness tournament, he’ll no doubt be hoping he can bring that good form over into this tournament as well I have the Scottish finishing third in the group but to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me to see them pull off an upset somewhere along the lines. Strong looking fighters and three managers that are more than capable on their day. Predicted Group Finish: 3rd Fighter Watch: Sir Randy Elliot

  26. Before the Budokai Fighting Federation took Tokyo by storm and dominated the 330k race, Bushido did the same at 290k. But prior to either of these unforgettable promotions, lived another organisation that played host to the toughest fighters Japan had to offer. Its name however did not seem to reach foreign shores in anything more than odd whispers, and its existence itself was all but assumed to be nothing other than a myth. Well, it was no myth. And now it is back, abandoning the shadows and moving into the neon spotlight of the Tokyo megatropolis for the first time in history. Who are we? Shinjitsu True Combat is the latest - and soon to be greatest - promotion to join the 400k+ race. We will look to provide young fighters with the opportunity to reach their potential and exceed it, by delivering fair fights at a pace decided by the managers. You will not be forced to take short notice matches nor punished for rejecting offers with good reason here at Shinjitsu. For a contract or any questions you may have, contact me in-game or here on the forums. All divisions Featherweight -> Heavyweight will be STRICTLY for 400k+ fighters Super-Heavyweight will be reserved for Open ID, relevant superfights, or ex-islanders (pending) Bantamweight will remain closed as there's never enough interest. When the ID ticks over the 400k mark, we will officially begin our hunt for talent. Hopefully with the next Island season "coming soon" then it shouldn't be too long a wait!

  28. That's right maggots, Savage Fightwear are relaunching our scholarship program, and this time it is bigger and better than ever. Details Here at Savage Fightwear we believe that Savages are not made, they are born. Similar to Apex predators, there is a will to hunt and kill in true savages which separates them from the rest. Our scholarship program is designed to shine a light on the most promising upcoming savages, providing a $100k, 122 day scholarship program as well as a whole new world of publicity and exposure. The program is not for everyone, many apply, most don't make it, and those who make it don't always complete the program. This year we will be looking for up to 10 savages to take part in the program, an increase on our previous intakes of 5 per program. Rules Savages must have no more than 10 fights on their record to enter the program, we believe after this landmark the program is no longer needed and you will have the toolkit to maul the world without entering the program. Fighters are not allowed to switch managers, if your manager releases you through the program, you will be dropped and no longer able to reap any of the benefits of continuing on the path. We will offer one place per roster, so if you have a whole stable of up and coming savages, choose wisely who enters the program, but feel free to nominate more than one. All fighters must have their bio included on the main fighter page, a custom avatar is preferred though not essential. Extra points will be assigned to you during the allocations phase for creativity, so the more character depth you provide, the more likely you are to enter and receive a scholarship. We will ask for regular check-ins particularly pre and post fight. You must have a spare sponsor slot so that we can transfer the money to you and welcome you into the savage family. You must walk, talk and act like a representative of MMAT's finest clothing establishment: Savage Fightwear. Benefits As already stated, entry into the program will provide your fighter with publicity and exposure the likes you have never seen. As well as a $100k 122 day sponsorship. Every fighter entering the program will be given a custom clothing card such as the one below(scholarship cards will be unique to the entrants this image is reference only): Upon Completion of the 122 day scholarship every fighter will then be given an upgraded, ultimate edition rare holographic card to wear on your fighter for life. See the example below(again for reference, scholarships will be unique): Click here to see the clothing on the fighter There will also be prizes and giveaways throughout the program. N.B. If anyone would like to sponsor a prize for the program, please share what you are willing to put forward in the thread below. Please bare in mind the program is 122 days in length as per the maximum sponsorship length allowed, this will allow for 3-5 fights although maybe less. The closing date for entries is Sunday 27th August, with the program rolling out on Sunday 3rd September. Managers, nominate your killers. Current nominees. 29. *NOW OPEN!* WHO? Heroes of Rio Kickboxing Federation is open and actively recruiting for weight classes 155-265+, with 135 and 145 possibly opening with enough interest. HEROES will operate on a ‘hybrid’ ID restriction. The 155, 185, and 265 lb weight classes will be Restricted to the 390k ID range while the 170, 205, and 265+ weight classes will be completely Unrestricted. WHAT? To separate ourselves from run of the mill MMA orgs, our match formats will feature fewer and shorter rounds to reduce energy loss, cuts, and injuries with the tradeoff hopefully being more fights and quicker turnaround. Restricted weight classes will fight 2 rounds of 3 minutes as a standard bout, with title fights eventually being 3 rounds of 3 minutes to mitigate draws as much as possible. Unrestricted weights will start at 3 rounds of 3 minutes with title fights being 5 rounds of 3 minutes. All matches will utilize a 10 point must scoring system and will take place in a ring hopefully to limit prolonged clinching, similar to real life. The idea behind all of these decisions is to provide a fast paced, action packed experience! WHEN? Recruiting is open now! We will be actively scouting all of the above stated weight classes to build a robust and active KT roster. If you are interested in being a part of HEROES, send all contract requests to Rush “Flipper” Grayson in game! This thread will serve as our ‘smack talk’ thread. Watch this space for any and all HEROES content!

  30. 1 day until this kicks off, so it's time for a preview.... based on basically nothing but vibes because none of these guys have fought before. We don't know if they're the next coming of God or just like musicals. Remember to not clinch or grapple fellas, otherwise it's a straight DQ. Feel free to do that against me though! Duran vs Mundine In the red corner we have Duran who sports some really nice hair and allegedly hands made of stone. In the blue corner we have the Aussie Mundine. The former rugby league player, turned boxer, turned mouthpiece, turned back to boxer will be looking to use his bigger reach and weight. Both fighters come into this at their true height measurements, so that is a nice detail that both managers should be commended for. At this weight class, Mundine's heavier walking weight probably doesn't really translate too much as an overall advantage, but his added reach certainly does. Assuming all things are equal and Duran doesn't get inside and do a lot of damage to his body, Mundine has the chance to use his reach to jab to victory. Duran is also surprisingly feeling a touch emo, probably because he's not actually wearing proper boxing gloves like his opponent and feels left out. I'm not too familiar with Mundine's manager, but I give Mundine the physical advantage and maybe Duran the manager and hair advantage. We'll see who comes out on top! Steele vs Toney Another matchup with nice avatars, and another clear win in the hair department by Freddie Steele. Both guys are similar heights/reach, but there's a whopping 25lb difference in walking weight between them. This has gotta be the biggest discrepancy in the whole tournament (I can't actually confirm this cause I'm lazy. As of writing I've only looked at 3 matchups total). Both guys again come in with accurate heights (though Toney seems to have provided his true height, which is 1cm shorter than his listed probably padded pro height). Steele is the slightly longer fighter but much lighter. It's a real clash of different body shapes with Steele looking mighty lean and Toney choosing the fried chicken wrecking ball build. I'm not actually sure what's going to lend itself better to this tournament, but I'm leaning towards possibly the lighter more energy efficient man assuming all other variables are even, given it's still 15 grueling minutes of biffo they have to get through. I like both managers. Rush is Rush, who doesn't love a pink dolphin. Rollins runs one of the best public gyms around that I am thankful for and sometimes gulag some of my undesirables to. It's so good my guyscn't even know they're being excluded! Interestingly, Toney has levelled up his boxing primary which indicates either he is a terrific learner and/or has been heavily sparring. This probably indicates not as much time spent training physicals as some other competitors - which is a real surprise for the shorter, much rounder man. Overall, I think Steele has a chance here. His slight reach, better ability to last through the rounds, and nicer hair could edge things into his favour. Also Steel is actually wearing boxing gloves which tends to help in a boxing match, while Toney is still in his tighty whiteys. Come on mate, wake up! You've got a fight coming up! Cotto vs Hearns In the next matchup, we've got two relatively tall fighters in Cotto (190cm -wtf) and Hearns (185cm - accurate). The Cotto measurements are kind of whack, because it appears that in this alternative universe, Cotto has come back a whopping 20cm taller than his real-life counterpart. Very strange! Also really strange is that Cotto has chosen to come in with polished MUAY THAI primaries instead of boxing. Has manager Rocket gone bananas? Has he forgotten that this is a boxing tournament? Do Dutch people really exist? Does he realise that 190cm is pretty tall even for the MMATycoon 185ers? So many questions. I suspect Cotto probably has one eye on perhaps one day transitioning to the wider MMA Tycoon world rather than the immediate tournament, hence his decisions about how to train. He's shown some boxing primary increase, which indicates he's been on the skills, but one has to wonder if he's started from scratch properly like a real tycoon prospect. If so, I think he could be in real trouble in this boxing match with Hearns likely to be more proficient in the boxing arts right now. However, to his and Hearns' credit, both are actually wearing boxing gloves, so he's got that right. Hearns also brings the better hair and manager Alfred is a very experienced tournament player. Alfred's philosophy about fighters and their hiddens, good or bad, means that tournaments are the one place where things remain on a relatively even footing and people win or lose due to merit (much like Team Georgia's terrific recent World Cup win). Hearns to win the boxing match, but Cotto to possibly have an actual career later. Hagler vs Hopkins Jr. We have our first tie in the best hair stakes, with both guys being as bald as a baby. However, tiebreaker points are probably awarded to Hagler given he bothered to wear a hat to cover his shiny bald head. However, minus points in that he's wearing a rashguard. Does he know he's meant to be boxing? No time for that touchbutt in the park stuff. Hopkins clearly wins the fashion stakes with the best gloves/shorts combo currently in the tournament. Hopkins Jr. has a pretty significant height/reach advantage, but otherwise things seem pretty even for both guys. The lack in progress in boxing primaries for both means both have either been on the weights or are just really dumb, and it's hard to tell which. Team Butch will be looking for tournament revenge against Hopkins and his management, as they have recently crossed swords in the World Cup. In that matchup, the people's champ Buck Bolkvadze stunned the world with a complete performance before getting a tap. However, this is boxing! No kicking or submissions are allowed and we've got two new boys to be put through the blender. Tough one to call, most even matchup so far especially given no clear hair advantage. Leonard vs Tiger In another tied hair situation, this time both guys have hair but not really the most exciting hair. If the hair competition went to penalties, maybe Leonard would get the chocolates, but his hair certainly doesn't have the luscious volume of Hearns' or the smooth waves of Duran. However, Dick Tiger wins with best name in a landslide. So much so, he was actually under strong consideration by me before I decided to be a metagaming loser and pick a taller fighter in Hopkins. Leonard appears to have been putting some time into his skills with a slight edge in boxing primaries, but it's a pretty close fight on paper measurements. Both guys are a little uninspiring in the fashion department, both have hair, both have similar height. It's a tough one to call, but I'm going to say Dick Tiger wins because his outstanding name outweighs Leonard's slight edge in the hair department. Also Dick Tiger has a freakin TIGER in his avatar! It's not quite a sick-ass panther, but close enough. Alvarez vs Castro Latino vs Latino, hair vs hair, champion vs champion violence in this matchup. While Alvarez performs reasonably well in the hair area, the chocolates in this matchup have to go to Castro. While we don't count Alvarez's red hair as a big negative, we appreciate the manliness of Castro's adequate chest hair. Alvarez is truly the modern boxer though. Firstly, he's in colour as opposed to black and white, but also he's discovered the recent technology of wearing a shirt with his own face on it. This is a clear victory in the fashion stakes over Castro's tighty whiteys, though I'm a bit disappointed neither are wearing boxing gloves. It's again a very even matchup. Canelo probably has the more experienced manager, however he's probably more well known for his artistic prowess and has only just returned. Castro has been more active on social media with his Buzzes, which is quite incredible for a guy whose photo was taken when it was still black and white. Has this served as a distraction? Has his interest in thirst trap tiktoks hindered progress in training as per his buzzes about 'slow' learning? It could be you know. Say no to thirsty tik toks and train hard folks! Eubank vs Garcia On one hand, everyone loves Monkey because he comes up with great tournament ideas. On the other, his fighter Eubank is the only fighter in the tournament with a default mug! Automatic loss in the aesthetics department, though luckily Monkey did choose an avatar that somewhat fits Eubank. No trans-racial transitions here! Garcia's manager Scottie2Hottie on the other hand, has a bit of a thing for mustached men. Garcia is rocking a nice one, but astute readers will recall Scottie's fighter roster also rock the mo. Highlights on his roster include Torvik, Benny, and Theorist, who all sport facial hair. Garcia has also seemingly increased his skill levels in the Muay Thai department recently. This is a very strange development, though not on the levels of Cotto. Perhaps he's been brushing up on his striking defence? We'll have to see if that can overcome the tournament king in Monkey and his fighter Eubank. Turpin vs Jones Jr. In our final matchup, we again go into some disappointment in both the clothing and hair departments. Both guys haven't really inspired in both areas. Jones Jr is headed up by Thibs, who has had past success in this format with Ali. Jones Jr is also the only fighter not to have taken up sponsorship with Brazen Clothing, a move that his camp claim is purely about focus. It's all about focus with this team. Even after winning the HW GOAT Boxing tournament and receiving the generous prize, manager Thibs was a man of few words. It's rumoured that he'd lost his voice due to being continually being referenced by the likes of myself as the person to ask about testing learning speed - a duty he continues to fulfill today. On the other hand, we've got Turpin, headed up by returning player and fellow SMESH Eric Leoanrd. I had to really double check that's how you spell it, and it's true! Eric has thrown himself into the game, managing to land himself a staff gig at Steel Penn's latest escapade. Currently building his own roster carefully, Turpin will actually be his only currently active fighter on his roster. All eyes and attention of the camp is on Turpin who has the monumental task of taking on the camp that won the last boxing tournament.

  31. Georgia vs. England Preview So everyone knows the Georgians are the biggest hit in town with the best avatars, best swag, best sliders, best delusional confidence, and so on. Well now we have the best preview too. No one could have predicted one of the most random teams in the competition would even make it out of groups, nevermind form a cohesive team in the first place. Anyway, here's our very accurate preview of how our semi-final against Engerland will go. Put on your hats and click your boot heels together, this preview is as cozy as eating a gooey Khachapuri. 135lb Mikheil Berishvili vs Luke "One step above being more generic than John" Smith Naturally when creating this tournament, Alfred cheated and gave himself a Granite chin with some KO power, alongside the cultural genocide when he denied various people the opportunity to represent their true heritage (including MMA giants like Vatican City, Western Sahara, and Florida among others). Luckily, our hero Berishvili has some form of chin and the perfect set of skills to still get the finish against this cheatcode of a creation at 135. His close quarters style is a real kill or be kill situation derived from his experience through the traditional Georgian practice of wife stealing through the bear hug technique. Our prediction is that if he avoids Smith's lead filled gloves (cheaters, you see), he will drag him down and make him his 4th wife via a submission. 170lb Buck Bolkvadze vs Weird Bloke at the Pub Our second Georgian hero takes on the only other guy weirder in the competition in the 170 matchup. It's an interesting matchup where both fighters share similar primaries but have shown slightly different things. Buck has shown a really well rounded striking game including some great clinching prowess and a surprisingly efficient submission game. What a student of MMA in such a short time! Very impressive. The other guy has been ok. The proof is in the pudding, Buck has polled 52%, 100%, 76%, and 75% in fight ratings in World Cup matches so far. The fans love him. Meanwhile, people don't love a weird bloke at the pub who is a bit too handsy. His last 'win' was a stinker at 39%. Keep your hands to yourself, otherwise Buck will chop them off with his chainsaw aggression. 300lb Robbie Banks vs Some Bastard Completing our trio of Georgian heroes, Robbie Banks provides some nice symmetry to the team. Starting at 135, our representative Mikheil had a very traditional Georgian name. Buck at 170 combined his traditional Georgian name with his other Georgian heritage, while Robbie follows with his fully typical Georgian name to round us out. We're Georgian through and through! Both big guys in this matchup came to the tournament with zero testing and no preparation. Truly a weightclass of fatties who rolled off the couch and into the ring. Robbie brings a world class ground and pound game while we're not quite sure what the Bastard brings. He seems to follow the patented Monkey tournament build mould of "hey if I put enough wrestling primaries in, they might think I'm a grappler instead of a striking/clinch demon". You can't argue with Monkey's tournament prowess though, and luckily for him and Engerland, the Bastard has recently discovered how to win. Eyes will be on how Banks can recover from his setback in his last fight. The Americans used the CIA to swap his invite to the fight out and fooled him into thinking it was a dance party. Banks was enthralling us all with his dance moves in the ring only to discover too late that Knox was actually trying to hit him instead of hit ON him. Further exposing the corrupt organisation, Banks' impressive slut drop dance moves were counted as 'knockdowns' which couldn't be further from the truth. He's not even injured! Georgian representatives have tried to reach Banks to ensure he doesn't get bamboozled by MI5 setups and remembers to actually fight. If he does, the Bastard better watch out, because big boy Banks is coming to cash his cheque. So in summary, Team Georgia will defeat the tyranny of Engerland - otherwise they cheated and we've already won the morale victory already like their cricket team.

  32. Just a quick thanks to those that created fighters and helped fill out the teams even though it meant likely Ls and tanking their manager ranking. Big thanks also to those managers who had fighters not doing particularly well or who's team was technically eliminated after round two. There's usually some asshat who releases early and it was very cool to see that not happen this time around.

  33. Round One Results Group C Mexico vs. Belgium Arriba! Arriba! Mexico, another team too sauced from the spicy worm at the bottom of the bottle to live up to expectations. They were beaten soundly by the waffle men from Belgium who were initially predicted a third place finish in the group. The trouncing didn’t begin at welterweight however as manager Cynic Chris took his first desperate steps out of the shadow of Karter with his very Mexican fighter Ominous Odinson. He faced John Daugherty’s Lucas Van Den Broeck who did he best impression of Forest Griffin to Odinsons Anderson Silva. Ominous Odinson wins by TKO at 1:44 of the first round and earns himself the KO of the night. Mexico were at this point looking every bit the group killers as predicted but then Scottie 2 Hottie came along with his crazy Mexican Loco Coco. He found himself Gordon Ryan’d by Belgian Ryan Gordon for almost two whole rounds before finally tapping out to the might of the tournaments unofficial favourite fighter. Belgium tied things up 1-1 meaning the final super-heavyweight match up would decide. This would be of great concern for the Mexican contingent for a couple of reasons. The first being that fighter Judas Gonzalez was a last minute afterthought recruited only to fill the cowardly boots of absentee Chris Karter and second, he was managed by the inexperienced Albert Summertop who is cousin to the great Alfred Winterbottom and whilst totally a real and different person altogether, is not a touch on his tactically superior cousin. He gave it his best try against the uber Belgian Kurt Waffles but in the end was beaten all over the place by the superior clinch fighter and dispatched within one round. Waffles got the TKO victory at 3:41 and finalised a great victory for his team. In truth, this was always going to be fairly competitive match up though I do consider Belgium winning a slight upset. Belgium go second in the group and Mexico just behind them in third. Belgium def. Mexico by two fights to one (9-5 in Points) Poland vs. China What in the blue blazes happened here? A truly baffling result from a bunch of poorly designed, poorly programmed Autobots from China who managed to pull off the upset against the bookies favoured Polish Team. Something was amiss from the start as Autobot One managed a shock first round submission over Poland’s KO Kapustka. Clearly programmed for the stinkiest of cheese, Autobot One was on a mission to clinch, pull guard and get the sub win and that’s exactly what he did. No one could ever imagine such a result from a Chinese import. Poland managed to pull back level after their man Serwacy Smolarek managed to figure out the Autobot Three’s programming and get the TKO victory just before the end of round one. No mean feat either I might add as apparently the manufacturers had made Bot Three’s chin of some sturdier material. It would be down Poland’s 300lb Brave Hut to save the day but unfortunately for them, he was too busy watching reruns of Klan in the locker room to support his teammates during their fights. Had he done so then he would surely have been able to avoid the fate of Kapustka and fend of the relentless hug attack from Autobot Two by following the game plan of Smolarek to victory. AutoBot Two needed just under two minutes to secure the submission over Hut and pull of the biggest upset of the opening round. Shockingly, China go top of the table after the first round which is not what was needed at all. Made purely to make up tournament to the magic number of sixteen teams, China were very much expected to be trounced at every turn. Team Poland go bottom of the group which again is quite the shock. Predicted to be a potential dark horse of the tournament, they now find themselves with their backs against the wall from get go. China def. Poland by two fights to one (10-5 on Points)

  34. Round One Results Group B Wales vs. Canada The bastard Welsh got exactly what they deserved here in this one although it was sickening to see lazy no testing Bradley Burns pull a Granite Chin/KO Power out of his ass. The massacre began at bantamweight with Canadian BJJ Brown belt Michele Rene Gaspard executing his game plan flawlessly. He didn’t even give opponent Callum Walsh a chance to show off that KO power of his before clinching up, pulling guard and getting the submission in under sixty seconds. A great performance from him and one that earned him Submission of the Night. Next up at welterweight is where we got to see Bradley Burns’ undeserved gift of a fighter Brody MacDonald take on Welshman Robbie Mullen. Both fighters looked pretty equal at first but the power of MacDonald was obvious to see and was clearly the difference in the end. Unable to take the punishment being dish out, Mullen was TKO’d around the half way mark of the first round. With Canada now two fights up the victory was out of Wales hands. A big heart wasn’t enough for a consolation and so Welshman Jeremy Corbyn had to take his beating like a man. Jean Francois LaFleur made it look simple as he battered poor Corbyn into submission in under two minutes and completed the clean sweep of a likely very disappointed Welsh team. With such a dominant performance, Team Canada go straight to the top of Group B and currently look assured to find a spot in the next round. Wales on the other hand are going to need a miracle. Canada def. Wales by three fights to none (15-0 in Points) Scotland vs. England More disgusting than Burn’s granite chin fluke, the total and utter bastard Scots somehow figured out a way to sabotage the might of England and pick up a totally underserved and shock upset win. Everything looked fine and dandy as cool as a cucumber Alfred Winterbottom sent his young charge Luke Smith into battle. He was to face “Sir” Randy Elliot who must have given himself that name as everyone knows not a Scotsman alive is afforded such a polite and gentlemanly title such as Sir. Smith went to work straight away and within a few well placed big boy shots he and Alfred were walking back to the changing room celebrating a job well done. Next up is where things started to go wrong. Having convinced us of his English authenticity by explaining the difference between a shepherds pie and a cottage pie, Canuck manager Jimmy Normal, who was welcomed into the gracious Team England fold with open arms now faced the rumour of potential collusion and deceit between himself and the dirty poutine gobbling Team Canada. What other possible explanation could there be for his English warrior Charles Traynor losing to Scotsman Alex Grey? Hmm, it actually looked pretty close on paper but the judges gave it to Grey so maybe Jimmy is innocent and the Canucks simply bribed the judges? Maybe it wasn’t even them? Maybe it was the Scots doing the bribing? It’s certainly not beneath them. With the series tied now at 1-1, there was no need for England to panic as super dependable tournament specialist Monkey was up next at super-heavyweight with his fighter Vyvyan Bastard. Oh what’s that? Monkey thought he’d be a clever bollocks and not test? Time to panic! Facing that wily Panda loving Pika Choo and his fighter Panda McLeod, things weren’t looking good as McLeod was all over the place and winning the exchanges at every range. Panic turned to shock as McLeod had Bastard tapping out to triangle choke in just under three and a half minutes. The Scots had done it. A massive black eye to the might of England and it’s empire. Bastards. All of them. Jimmy and Monkey included. Scotland go into second place in Group B with a begrudgingly capable looking team. Mark my words heads will be rolling back at England HQ with a thorough investigation into the performance of certain members forthcoming. Scotland (puke) def. (puke) England two fights to one (7-5 in Points)

  35. So here are the details on the contract/org signing bug that is actively being abused by a few managers. Frankly, it makes life as an org owner a pain in the ass because you end up with a fighter signed who can be signed by two, three or whatever orgs as the same time, without having loaned them out. So now suddenly you're competing with multiple orgs trying to all schedule the fighter for fights which makes matchmaking and planning a friggin' nightmare. And yes, I know the first thing somebody is going to say is, "Why would you put this out there publicly, now it'll only get worse, should have just reported it so it could be fixed without giving everybody the info they need to do it!" Well, the answer to that question is that I reported this issue MONTHS ago to Mike, got initial request for more details, provided it along with an example...and then heard crickets. Then I've reported it two more times over the past few months, as recently as a week or two ago, with detailed information (which I'm going to provide below) and examples, and have gotten ZERO feedback or response. So, apparently you'll get a response if it involves something that gets $ through paypal, but not something like this that becomes a major headache for the backbone of the game...the org owners! The answer to why put it out there publicly knowing it'll just make our lives worse? Because if Mike has every org owner pissed at him, maybe he'll do something about it. And frankly, I'm just about done with this Mickey Mouse bullshit and ready to just throw in the towel and leave the game. So here you go...essentially what is more or less happening is that a manager will wait till they've gotten two, three, whatever amount of offers for one of their Free Agents. Then, they go to the contracts page...and then open that same page over and over in multiple browers/tabs. Then one by one, they go from one tab to the next accepting the contracts one at a time, one per tab/page. Since the page was already loaded with the offers, and since Mike's game/application has shit ass error checking, it doesn't validate whether the offer is still valid and legit or not...page is open, it sends the response through, and voila, you're signed to two or three orgs at the same time without having to get loaned out. Enjoy the chaos folks! ~Hare P.S. If you have a fighter/manager who has done this, and you found they were signed to multiple orgs even though you didn't loan them out, but just thought there was some bug or glitch...know that it's not by accident. The manager did it purposefully with the intention of doing it. Doesn't happen by chance. So, they're just being a shit (or in one case, were just helping to test the scenario).

  36. Vitali Klitschko Joe Louis vs I Have a soft spot for Vitali. He's like a flawed version of myself in a way. He uses his reach, jabs, and feints, really well, and has some power to apply the BOOM! I think he tries to copy me. And who could blame him? He just doesn't do it as well as I did. I did it classy. Joe Louis eh? Another smart boxer. I like the way he picks his punches. Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, Look out! Loud engine sounds from a Brown Bomber overhead! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! It's a carpet bombing! Wouldn't work on me though. He could have chased me around the ring all day without getting a good chance to unleash the bombs. I'd be like, moving all the time, and throwing a jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, BOOM! every now and then. I'd make it look easy. I give this one to Joe Louis. He wants it.

  37. LET THE TOURNAMENT BEGIN! Welcome to the World Cup of MMAT. Sixteen international teams, some very dubiously created at the last minute, will compete to decide just who is the baddest country when it comes to caged fisticuffs. The groups have been drawn and shuffled ten times on challonge.com which everyone can now see as well as each groups fight schedule. I'll post this up on the front page too so everyone can follow more closely without having to go search through the thread with it all. I'll be sending out fight offers pretty soon though I'm still waiting on two. One has a fight scheduled for the end of the week so I can't sign him until then and the other one is Scootz who is an autobot now so who knows. Just a quick run down of the format again. Sixteen teams. 4 Groups of 4. Each fight other once. Top 2 from each group move on to the knockout stages. From there it's an 8 team single elimination tournament all the way to a final to decide 1st and 2nd plus a 3rd place match to decide...er...3rd. Match wins are decided by a best out of three fights (135lbs, 170lbs & 300lbs) but will also be calculating points to use as a tiebreaker. 1st Round Finish = 5 Points 2nd Round Finish = 4 Points 3rd Round Finish = 3 Points Decision Win = 2 Points Draw = 1 Point Loss = 0 Points Any fighter that doesn't accept the fight offer will go down as a forfeit loss which is counted as a maximum point win for opponent. Write ups to come and as always I'll add anything I've forgotten later on. Any questions, just ask. Best of luck to all! (Except Australia, Scotland and Wales. The Yanks can do one as well actually)

  38. Hello managers, Today we're reintroducing the MMATycoon Staff Structure. In the interest of building our community platform and taking steps to progress MMATycoon as a collective, we're introducing a new and updated staff structure. Administrators - Administrators are Community Managers who ensure the day-to-day operation of MMATycoon. They handle everything from feature prioritisation and development to the careful balancing of the site economy. The list of responsibilities is near endless but I'm sure you can all appreciate the work that goes into the site. Commissioner Commissioners are a new role that we have introduced, these individuals are trusted members of the community who are effectively administrators in their own rights. Their responsibilities range from ensuring player security, safety, and well-being to crafting on-site events while also providing invaluable insight into plans and projects which shape the future of the site. Each Commissioner will typically have their area of expertise which is a section of the game that they are responsible for helping craft, flesh out and gauge feedback for. As an example, the Organisation's commissioner will be responsible for contacting key members of the scene, and gauging feedback on changes while shaping the future of the org scene. Moderator Moderators are the people we know and love! They are equally longstanding, trusted members of the community and help moderate our user content currently. We would like to expand the set of responsibilities, getting moderators more involved with on-site moderation and attributing a specific section of the forum we'd like for a moderator to help flesh out. Moderators will be able to provide player incentives for helping in improving their sections of the forums. Equally, they will be permitted to update our Wikipedia pages to ensure that all of our help documentation are up to date. Helper Helpers speak for themselves. They are entry-level into the new and evolved staff team but will be given a unique opportunity to contribute to any moderation areas or commissioner projects. The core of the helper responsibilities will be to provide any on-site support, or assistance to users similar to what a Mentor would currently do but to a lesser degree. Helpers will be integral to helping retain new users while we improve the site-wide user experience to make the learning process easier and more streamlined! All staff positions will be displayed in-game and responsibilities shared - naturally, these are voluntary positions but a great deal of trust will be placed on users joining the team. We will be opening applications for the team in the near future.

  39. We’re only a few hours away from the second round of the Truthseekers Grand Prix folks! The matches for this round are as follows: Fight 1 - Winners Bracket Earl “The Holy Hammer” McCoy (2-0-0, 1-0-0 STC) vs. Giorgi Gorgodze (1-0-0, 1-0-0 STC) Fresh off the quick dispatching of Bobby Greene via clinch destruction, Jesus-loving Earl McCoy looks to do the same again as he sets his sights on the next round and additional glory. Standing in his way however is the dangerous Georgian, Giorgi Gorgodze who will no doubt aim to impose his will on the American with his powerful wrestling offence. The better wrestler will take the W in this one. Fight 2 - Winners Bracket Ugrapurod Makagziadan (1-1-0, 1-0-0 STC) vs. “Chucky” Charles Lee Ray (2-0-0, 1-0-0 STC) Trinidad’s own Ugrapurod Makagziadan makes his return to the STC ring this evening with fighting on his mind. A head-hunting boxer at heart, he will surely be going into this one hoping to knock the colour out of his opponent’s hair, but whether he can do so comes down to whether he can keep it standing or not. “Chucky” is primarily a boxer but has shown that he has more than just punches in his arsenal as he boasts a sneaky submission game compliments to his blue belt in brazilian jiu-jitsu. Fight 3 - Winners Bracket Shirley “The Predator” Crabtree (1-1-0, 1-0-0 STC) vs. Hung “Benny” Takedo (2-0-0, 1-0-0 STC) In the red corner we welcome the return of the heavy-handed, iron-chinned man from another world as Shirley Crabtree readies for another round of battle. “The Predator” won his first round fight by employing a diverse striking game, throwing punches, kicks, combos and even clinch attacks. Takedo earned a knockout of the night bonus in the opening round with his heavy hands destroying his opponent in less than 30 seconds, a terrifying sight indeed. This one will probably go the distance if it stays standing, though both men pack a punch. Fight 4 - Winners Bracket Demyan “The Purge” Pulaski (1-0-0, 1-0-0 STC) vs. El “Camacho” President (1-0-0, 1-0-0 STC) Fighting out of East Rutherford, New Jersey is the dangerous Demyan Pulaski, fresh off a first round victory in the opening round of the tournament. A powerful wrestler with decent boxing to back it up, “The Purge” is an aggressive fighter who uses his skills to get a hold of and consequently break down his opponents. Looking to avoid the grappling at all costs is fellow American El President, a heavy handed striker who earned the fastest finish of the tournament so far as he dispatched his first opponent in record time. Fight 5 - Losers Bracket Bobby “Hood Style” Greene (1-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) vs. Jethro King (0-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) Looking to bounce back from a poor performance in the opening round when he took on his religious rival is the California native, Bobby Greene. A boxer at heart, “Hood Style” will want to stay clear of the clinch (which he refers to as hugging) if he wants to pick up a victory and stay in the tournament. Also hoping to claw back some glory is the fellow American Jethro King. While we have heard that he is primarily a wrestler, King wasn’t able to show off any of his skills in the opening round – and so we are unsure of what he will want to do when he returns to the ring. Fight 6 - Losers Bracket Termineitor Latino (1-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) vs. Balder Bull Jr. (0-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) Cuba’s Termineitor Latino is set to return to the Shinjitsu ring with one last chance to prove his worth. A do-or-die striker, Latino comes out swinging with reckless abandon and has unfortunately paid the price for that in the past. No doubt happy that he is not against another grappler this evening is Balder Bull Jr. – son of BFF Hall of Famer Balder Bull – as he looks to earn his first career victory. We predict that someone will be leaving the ring on a stretcher in this one and it all comes down to whoever first lands that knockout blow. Fight 7 - Losers Bracket Bottom Feeder (0-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) vs. Case Knightley (0-2-0, 0-1-0 STC) Ever resilient, Angola’s Bottom Feeder refuses to give up as he is set to return this evening for one last shot. The first round of the tournament saw him lose in a one-sided affair in which he showed great heart after continuing to get up time and time again despite taking a beating. Jack of all trades, master of none is the giant Seychelles native Case Knightley. After suffering a loss that allowed him none of his skills, Knightley will no doubt be looking to come back and right the wrongs of his past. How he’ll earn a victory though is another story. Fight 8 - Losers Bracket Khamzat “Grey Wolf” Magomedov (0-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) vs. “Yoshi” Yuto Yoshida (0-1-0, 0-1-0 STC) In the opening round of the Grand Prix, Dagestan’s Khamzat Magomedov suffered a knockout defeat after his strategy of constant takedown attempts was snuffed by his opponent. As he faces a striker in his return to the ring, it's a safe bet to imagine that he will be employing the exact same strategy again when he fights tomorrow. Hoping to keep the bout standing at all costs is Japan’s Yuto Yoshida, the only man fighting at home this evening. With fast feet and sharp hands, “Yoshi” will hope to dispatch his opponent before he finds himself in deep waters. The bracket in its entirety can be found here:

  40. Hello folks, There is a format I have been dying to try and I thought it probably best tested with a grappling tournament in order that we can move things along pretty quickly. That format is the brain meltingly complicated TRIPLE ELIMINATION tournament! Your grappler will have three lives on the path to fame and fortune meaning you could lose two times and still be in with a shot of taking home the prize. Thanks to a unnamed shadowy financial benefactor the tournament is able to offer up a whopping 25 million tycoon dollars as prize. That's 25 million completely legit and verified tycoon dollars. Winner take all! Tournament will be creation tournament. 18 years old and taking place in the 155lbs division. Minimum weight 155lbs. No maximum weight but obviously you need to be able to make 155lbs. Will set creation date for Sunday 15th October giving everyone a couple weeks to free up a space if they need. Tournament will start two weeks after that (29th October) Will allow 1 week for testing if you need but if grappler isn't locked in and signed by 22nd October will be moving on without you. Not entirely sure how quickly the events will be, maybe three days apart to give me time to make sure I've not fudged up anywhere? Either way if you're not someone who logs in regularly this tournament probably isn't for you. If you fail to accept a fight offered it will be counted as a loss. Due to the extra loser bracket rounds in the tournament, I'm pretty sure there will be rounds where winners are sitting out waiting for opponent. Because of the way that grappling events affects training this isn't going to make things unfair) I will try to be as organised as possible though so everyone knows what they're doing after each round. Looking for up to a max of 20 or 22 grapplers but tournament can run with any amount less than that. The tournament is free for anybody to sign up but ultimately I will pick those I know and trust before anyone else. As always I'll add any extra details needed as we go along.

  41. Greetings Tycoon players! As some of you are aware, Mike and I have recently started collaborating to improve MMAT at its core and knock some of the dust off with some new features that will hopefully create a more enjoyable game experience for everyone. As a starting point, we’re currently looking to improve the world that the game plays out in, starting with events. One thing that has been identified repeatedly is a lack of unique arena sizes. To remedy this, we’ve decided to start: The MMA Tycoon Player-Made Arena Contest Concept: Currently, arenas scale gradually in different cities up to 30k seats before jumping to the 93k mega arenas. We want to add new arenas to the game (at least one per city) of varying sizes between 40-80k seats and ideally we want them to be created by the players. Rules: The contest will span multiple weeks, with up to 3 arenas being chosen for the following Monday depending on the volume of submissions. Arenas can be submitted by individual managers or as a group, but we ask that you please limit to one(1) submission a week per group or individual. The arenas can be entirely fictional or based on real life arenas like the current in game arenas, but exact copies of existing arenas will not be considered. Arena submissions must be for cities currently in the game and must come with its own custom logo. The first arenas will be chosen the week of July 31st. Submission Form: Arena Name: Capacity (40k-80k): Location: Creator’s In-game Name(s): Logo (340x165): (Optional:) Feel free to include a short description of the arena, its history, or why you want it in the game. We look forward to seeing what you guys come up with. We know there are some extremely creative people who play the game and this is a fantastic opportunity to create something that will be an integral part of how the game works. Good luck!

  42. Arena Name: Franky Sin Supernova Arena Capacity (40k-80k): 80,000 Location: Las Vegas Creator’s In-game Name(s): Louie DePalma Logo: History: Based in the city of Syn and in honor of one of tycoons original and greatest minds comes the Franky Sin Supernova arena. During the early days of Synchronicity, Franky envisioned one day, selling out a mega arena however did not know it would also be his name sake. Franky was a pioneer who was wise beyond his time, as he did not follow the normal script of so many along side him and instead, he preferred to be more original when super show being brought forth known simply as Supernova!! Now this legendary event name will be forever enshrined in the city of Las Vegas along with the trailblazer who was before his time, Frankie Sin.

  43. You read that right, I know I have been less then active lately and many are missing me terribly so I have come up with an idea to try and peak my interest to return me on a more regular basis for another League of Leagues tourney, this time.... the Island edition!!! How many managers can we put together for this? Can we make this the most epic tourney of all time? How many managers would be interested? Given it is to take place on the island the prize pool might not be as epic but this is more for the fun of the game? Still need to look over previous editions to determine entrant numbers and time frame but seeing as the next Island season is not slated to start until sometime between September 1st and October 1st I have the time needed. Over the next little while I will begin getting this all set and finalized of course based on user interest, but given every manager in the game is able to create 2 island fighters for free I feel strongly we can build one monster of a tourney! Please post your interest here and we will start building a field of managers to take on the gauntlet to end all gauntlets during our next Island season!

  44. Seriousy - Thanks for the poster! No one else offered, and I thought it was pretty cool! I do think I'll do it again this year. I will keep the things that made it good.. 1. Huge prizes (even if it means an entry fee). 2. Open to everyone, regardless of rank or reputation. 3. Seeded. That was a good idea. Keeping the 'big names' apart in the early rounds. Small improvement - I will use manager's highest all-time (historical) rank rather than current. 4. Double elimination. Three of the final top four lost a fight at some point but came back in our first tourney! 4. Large tourney. Minimum 32 players. 5. Full month to train, between creation date and first fights. Might even increase to 6 weeks. This did encourage a variety of builds. And, drawing on the experience of the first tourney, I hope to improve by.. 1. No draws. A rule that decides draws and means no rematches. 2. Earlier start. October 1st creation. Nov 1st (or 14th) first round. 3. Faster conclusion (a). No 'preliminary rounds'. That was a nightmare, it slowed the pace terribly, and only meant that the winners suffered a training disadvantage. I will ensure we get a good round number to avoid this. It could mean a few people won't get in. Anyone who was in the last tourney will get priority, after that it will be decided by manager's highest (historical) rank. 4. Faster conclusion (b). I might begin the tourney as two conscutive competitions, halving the time it takes for the first 4-6 rounds to conclude. Then, when there are only 8 (or 16?) left in the two groups combined, match them in a new (possibly single elimination?) bracket. This has added benefit of making leading fighters fight again, so less training advantage to those in the lead. I should be able to work this out to time the tourney final for end of February (rather than mid-summer lol). 5. A poll to decide which weight division we should follow last year's welterweight with. 6. I'll make a serious effort to get even more of the 'top' managers to take part. Let's see who's chicken and who really has confidence. 7. Delegation. In addition to sponsors/artist/writers/bookies, I'll look for one or two people to help me run it. It was actually pretty hard work to keep everything up to date! If anyone is wondering why I'm disclosing all this now, it's because I want this on the record to remind my future self! If I don't write it down I'll forget what I've learned by the timeI start the next one!

  46. SPPS 264 Preview Happy Thursday! Welcome to the first ever SPPS Event Preview of the Rush Grayson era! With the current event schedule, my goal is to have previews for the Friday events up by Thursday and the Sunday events up by Saturday. In these previews I’ll briefly introduce each of the 5 ‘main card’ bouts and give my opinion on what each fighter needs to do to win. #1 Guy River vs. Apophis Kalmisto In this first bout we have two Sucker Punch originals with debuts going back to SPPS 30 and 73, respectively. Over the course of their careers, both men have demonstrated knockout power and a willingness to trade on the feet and it wouldn’t be a surprise if it played out that way. Lately, however, Kalmisto has been showing some chops on the ground and his last 3 wins have come by Submission. This puts River in a ‘pick your poison’ scenario where he’ll have to decide if he wants to risk facing Kalmisto’s potent clinch striking or if he’d rather risk being taken down and possibly strangled. Kalmisto, on the other hand, will have to find an answer for the deadly efficiency of River’s distance striking. No small task when the man posing the question has 15 KO victories to his name. #2 Landon McGuire vs. Jack Spratt This next bout features another SPPS original who also happens to be teammates with the above mentioned Guy River. Landon McGuire debuted all the way back at SPPS 25 and even held the Middleweight championship at one point. He’ll serve as the welcome committee for newcomer Jack Spratt, a grilled veteran of the cage who created the Middleweight division at GAMMA 6 times, ascending to the lofty heights of #3 ranked Middleweight worldwide. Spratt is no stranger to SPPS, as he came over for an away game against our own Tanaka Matsuda who recently held the SPPS Middleweight title. Both men do business in very similar fashion, with Spratt being the more experienced and slightly more polished technician. Look for both of these wily veterans with wily veteran management to look to outwork and outwily the other in what has potential to be a fairly cerebral matchup. #3 Chip Nickel vs. James Yarborough Chip Nickel reminds me of this one documentary I saw where a journalist visits one of Andrew Tate’s events and gets suckered into an unsanctioned MMA fight. In all honesty, that sounds like something that would happen here at Sucker Punch. Thankfully “The Scoop” wound up with a far more illustrious career than that guy. Chip provides the kind of ‘hard-hitting’ journalism that would make Cronkite smile with 17 ‘Of the Night’ awards sitting alongside his Pullitzer Prize. Chip looks to make headlines and make his way back to the front page of the Middleweight division. James Yarborough is surely something out of a horror movie. Hailing from the ‘Game Grid,’ a place that sounds like it could somehow possibly be a more hellish landscape than Cape Canaveral, Florida, Yarborough looks to unleash CGI Carnage on the SPPS Middleweight division and certainly has revenge on his mind when he attempts to play spoiler to Chip Nickel’s title aspirations. Will “T R O N” cause a media blackout? Or will Chip run a magnet over his A.I. adversary? COMAIN Ben Slam vs. Daniel Spong Everybody get up, it’s time to slam now. We got a real jam going on when Ben “Dunkzilla” Slam faces off with Daniel “Demon” Spong in the comain event of the evening. Ben’s had a long career of posterizing his opponents and has enough KO(Punch) victories on his resume to make a certain gourd-adorned fighter sing his praises from the mountain tops. With this kind of kill-or-be-killed career, you already know what Ben’s looking to do when the referee lets these guys go at it. Daniel Spong, on the other hand, brings a lot more variety and versatility to this matchup. With all the pedigree in the world, Spong will certainly look to outsmart and outskill his more specialized opponent if he finds himself unable to match his firepower. It’s Brains vs Brawn in an occupation where head trauma is a qualification! MAIN EVENT: HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Noah Anderson vs. Charon Lehto In a rematch for the Heavyweight title, two of the baddest big boys in the MMA Tycooniverse are on course to see who can hit each other in the face harder than the other. Both men have been on a rampage with 16 combined KO victories over the past 10 months, so if you expect this one to go 25 minutes then I have a bridge to sell you. At 220 cm Anderson is like if Stretch Armstrong were loaded with steroids instead of cornstarch, and the visual of him landing a Superman Punch to KO his last opponent is probably the closest you can get to a human carpet bombing. It is worth mentioning that Anderson does NOT like being punched in the face, as it’ll muss his $500 haircut and he’ll pass out from pure exasperation. Lehto being a fan of hats means he doesn’t have that problem and will look to capitalize if he can get around the 19 cm height difference.

  47. Round One Results Group D Kazakhstan vs. USA The great underdogs of Kazakhstan were no match for the might of Murica and their freedom giving ways and though they gave it their best shot, they were easily dismissed as the long shots that they are. Fan favourite Borat Sagdiyev was up first for Kazakhstan and he was taking on the USA Harper Quarry. There was the hope that Borat would be able to use his special wrestling techniques against his opponent but Quarry had other ideas and decided to just simply batter him instead. Up next, the pride of Kazakhstan Kazhymukan Manaitpasov, looking to keep his homeland in the match up as he faced Chayton Catawanee for Team USA. Clearly blind or paid off, the judges saw things in favour of Catawanee after fifteen minutes of what can only be described as a wrestling clinic put on by Manaitpasov. Sure, Catawanee landed a few strikes here and there but overall, the wrong man had his hand raised at the end of this. It was now down to the man affectionately known as Heavy Kazak Six to salvage some pride for the Kazak team but he was facing the big hearted Remington Knox from New Yoirk, USA. Things went badly pretty quick as Six failed to land any of the big shots he was winging whilst Knox managed to land at least some of his, one of which knocked the Kazak super-heavyweight down briefly. From there, it was all downhill as Knox clinched up with the dazed Six and proceeded to beat the stuffing out of him for the quick first round victory. Team USA made it look easy against the Kazak team and with their clean sweep go straight to the top of the Group D table. Kazakhstan occupy the bottom space for now and will need a herculean effort to change their current trajectory. USA def. Kazakhstan by three fights to zero (12-0 on Points) Bhutan vs. Indonesia Many of those paying a visit to the bookmakers would have thought Bhutan to be the favourites going into this one but the few who did see the potential in the Indonesian team will no doubt have been very happy with their decision after this one played out. Completely untested Bhutan bantamweight Jack Saragih managed to fend off the desperate clinch attempts of opponent Genko Yeshuati and earn himself and his team a second round TKO victory. It was a fairly entertaining fight between two game fighters and enough to earn them both fight of the night honours. Bhutan needed this next fight to stay in the match up but it wasn’t to be as Indonesia’s Mario Leonardo made short work of Bhutan’s James Penn. Both fighters were complete unknowns coming into this and in truth, only one will be coming away with any kind of buzz at all. Twenty-six seconds was all Leonardo needed to get the win and seal his team’s opening round victory. Though it would be purely a consolation victory, Bhutan’s super-heavyweight entry Drangme Chhu made sure that his team didn’t come away empty handed as he blew Indonesian big boy Syariel Peng out of the water in just eleven seconds. A failed clinch attempt, a shot to the body and then a massive jab was all that was needed for Chhu to get the job done and also earn himself the KO of the night. Not a clean sweep for Indonesia but definitely a big result for them against a team that was predicted a second place finish. Indonesia in second place with two rounds to go. A tough loss for Bhutan who will need to do better in their upcoming bouts if they are to move on into the knockout phase. Indonesia def. Bhutan by two fights to one (9-5 in Points)

  48. EASY BUTTONS & TIME SAVERS FTW Help the userbase not BURN OUT by making their lives all around a little easier. Here are some very basic (imo) changes that need to be made ASAP. +1 this POST to increase the probability of getting something done. Clicking on the no sponsors or fighter is unsigned logo should result in a pop up to an offer sheet or at the very least a hyperlink to these pages with the ID number automatically put in. https://mmatycoon.com/clothingmanagersponsor.php https://mmatycoon.com/orgnewcontracts.php if you own an org, when you click on this logo there should be a popup (or at least a link connecting you) to a contract offer page/sheet. if you own a clothing/nutrition company, clicking on this logo should result in a sponsorship offer/sheet. If recruiting or sending sponsors this way, we shouldn't be required to input the ID numbers of fighters inside the box. It should appear in the Fighter ID(s) column like below. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY, PLEASE ADD A SELECT ALL BUTTON TO THIS. It can go at the top, or the bottom. I would also like to see an Auto-Renewal option for sponsorships. That would be super useful and a big time saver for a tedious task. Sponsorships don't really equate to profit. The money you have to spend to pay for sponsors is basically a loss. Let's not make the generous sponsors of tycoon endure cruel and unusual punishment of clicking every single fucking checkbox to re-send sponsors... REMOVING CLUTTER / FIX BROKEN SHIT MMA Tycoon :: Statistics (Year) - this page hasn't been updated since 2010. While it would've been cool to see updated yearly, it's just a waste of space now. You can delete it from existence, and nobody will miss it. The p4p ranking display in the commentary is and has been broken for year(s). If you can't fix it to make it properly display p4p rank and weight class ranks prior to the fight, just remove it and get rid of it. Reveal Hiddens is one of the coolest features to ever be implemented into the game imo. But you must FIX INJURY PRONENESS asap. It's programmed backwards. This guy scored a bad injury proneness rating (meaning he was prone to being injured) and his true injury value would be 17/150. I can't confirm if selecting injury proneness adds +30 to the injury proneness hidden, but if it does, then high injury proneness is a bad thing and selecting the never gets injured hidden actually makes your fighter more likely to get injured by +30 Add former #1 P4P Fidel "Pinoy Savage" Puno to the MMATycoon Hall of Fame. (being able to reveal his hiddens would be a bonus) Add former #1 P4P Joseph "Huesos" Jones to HOF Add former #1 P4P Barack Lesnar Add former #1 P4P Jesus "Chuey" Gonzalez Add former #1 P4P YB Sol Remove Ferdinand Cortes (Wolf-Gate) from Hall of Fame Fix names on some historic fighters that were changed by agent saboteurs: Mike Evans back to Phillip Dale The Coach back to Alistair Overeem Overoid Rei Trevis back to Anton Chigurh ADD CITIES(this will be the only thing the community doesn't unanimously agree on) In the USA you have Hilo and LA. How often has the UFC (or any other organization) ran events in those 2 cities IRL? How many of the TOP GYMS in the world are based in those two cities compared to a city like Miami? We have no Southern representation. Add Miami. I don't even like Miami but American Top Team has been a staple of the MMA community and based in Florida for the majority of MMA's glory years. American Top Team, Sanford MMA, MMA Masters, Blackzillions (RIP) - there are nearly 20 ATT's in the state of Florida, there's a bunch of Carlson Gracie and Gracie Berra BJJ gyms. Some of the BEST FIGHTERS in the WORLD train in SOUTH FLORIDA. The UFC has ran like 8 events since 2018 in Florida and expect a lot more in the near future. The UFC has run: 17 events in Florida (Miami, Tampa, Orlando Jacksonville) 8 events in Miami (Miami, Hollywood, Sunrise - all the same shit) 5 events in LA (16 events if you add Anaheim and Inglewood) 6 events in NYC (probably more if you count all the shitholes around NYC) 0 events in Hawaii UFC events outside the USA: 38 in Brazil 31 in Canada 27 in the UK 17 in Abu Dhabi 16 in Australia 9 in Japan 6 in Mexico 6 in China I said add cities, but going beyond Miami just leads to a lot of debate and some people want to scrap cities all together. So I'll separate the rest of my suggestions in the next post after the OP. Adding 1 CITY will not hurt the market, especially 1 that is guaranteed to be a popular destination and not an empty barren wasteland like Hilo. Adding others outside of Miami could end up like Hilo, Tokyo, Sydney, St. Petersburg, or Helsinki (sorry finns). Miami diverts the population and presense in LA, LV, and NY - all popular spots among the userbase. @MMATycoon @Alfred @TJMitchell @PBR @Zello @bjornmma1 @Mentor @CelticStryder @BuffMinion @762x39 @stpierrecanada @MarkyMark @Gutz @HareRumpler @Ramirez REMEMBER! This post is less about adding cities, and more about everything above it.

  49. WORLD CUP OF MMA Pre-Tournament Preview With all teams now fully registered and all fight offer now sent out, it's time to have a quick look at the teams participating and their chances of moving on from the Qualifying Group Stage. Group A Djibouti 135lbs: Mohamed Ahmed (Freako Wimp - #1 Best) 170lbs: Cuba Gooding (Blue Soyster Cult - #1 Best) 300lbs: Veteran Of The Psychic Wars (Lance Templeton - #1 Best) The Djiboutian team are looking fairly strong from the start and are in fact the only team that features all former #1 managers. Unfortunately however, one of those managers pays about as much attention to the game these days as Mike does and another pays only about 50% more attention than that. Only one of these top tier managers (Blue Soyster Cult) can be counted amongst the truly engaged and so we better hope that the general apathy that radiates from the others doesn’t rub off on him. His fighter Cuba Gooding (who’s parents were clearly big fans of the movie Jerry McGuire) looks to lead the charge whilst the others are only predicted to do well due to their managers tactical pedigree. Expecting Djibouti to qualify out of this group despite almost 100% autobot status Predicted Group Finish: 2nd Fighter Watch: Cuba Gooding Georgia 135lbs: Mikheil Berishvili (Helmans Ted - #25 Best) 170lbs: Buck Bolkvadze (Crazy Horse - #16 Best) 300lbs: Robbie Banks (Scott Bandz - #19 Best) Hailing from the land of mountains and wine (a seemingly dangerous combination), Team Georgia don’t look half bad going at this point though one small worlder seems to have gotten mixed up with his geography and is also looking like the token anchor. Mikheil Berishvili looks an interesting prospect at 135lbs with his BJJ skills likely to do well against what looks like a predominantly ground based group division but it’s the avatary enough chainsaw wielding 170lber Buck Bolkvadze who is set to steal the show with his Kilo destroying manager Crazy Horse. It wouldn’t be entirely surprising to see Georgia make it into the next round but it will really depend on whether they can get a good result against Djibouti. Could be a big ask with autobot Scootz and his once every ten day log ins. Predicted Group Finish: 3rd Fighter Watch: Buck Bolkvadze Sweden 135lbs: Patrik Blix (Pat Sku - #54 Best) 170lbs: Ludvig Eriksson (Biz Zee - #83 Best) 300lbs: Wolfric Dozer (Biz Zee - #83 Best) On to Sweden now who look to have a couple of decent fighters amongst them though it’s true that super-heavyweight Wolfric Dozer only got started a week before the entry deadline. To make matters worse, manager Biz Zee, who will be in charge of two thirds of the team, hasn’t been seen in almost a week at the time of writing leaving fellow manager Pat Sku in an unwinable situation. Sku’s fighter Patrik Blix is untested at 135lbs leaving 170lb Ludvig Eriksson as the most noticeable prospect out of the three. With all that turmoil and the fact the Swedish management team are probably the least experienced in this group, its difficult to see them doing any better than last place in this very tough group. *Panic over. Biz Zee came back! Predicted Group Finish: 4th Fighter Watch: Ludvig Erikkson Australia 135lbs: Mick Taylor (P J Jones - #3 Best) 170lbs: Drew Peacock (Billy Arseworth - #1 Best) 300lbs: Ryan Wallaby (Jason Hopson - #70 Best) Sunnies, Pushees, Bikies, Barbies, you name it and the Aussies have made the word their own (I.e made it sound stupid) Though the sun has weathered their pale convict skin and frazzled their criminal brains, they are, begrudgingly, quite good at sports. This true blue, fair dinkum assortment is no exception and is also about as Aussie as you can get. Featuring former #1 manager Billy Arseworth who hangs around that #1 manager spot like Camara around a playground, he has actually bothered to do some proper recruiting this time and it looks as though its paid off with his granite chinned prospect Drew Peacock at 170lbs. Elsewhere this Australian team looks strong with both their 135lber and 300lber having some good and necessary qualities for their weight class. Overall I think we’re looking at the Group A winners here and to be honest, hot candidates to take the whole series. Predicted Group Finish: 1st Fighter Watch: Drew Peacock
