Fedor Jankovic Interview

In this interview with the up and coming Russian Fedor Jankovic, who just made his first splash in the big leagues of GAMMA by knocking out gatekeeper Jack Hammer in the first round, Tony Harris did "his best" to translate what the Russian fighter was saying.

Q1: Great win Fedor! That makes it 8-0 now, you must be happy with how your career is going so far?

I am very happy with my victory and I am honored to be fighting for the title. I train hard and fight harder. I want to put on a great show for the fans

Tony "Of course he's happy, Fedor is the man! He's ready to take GAMMA by storm and crush all the cans that get in his way. "

Q2: Jack Hammer had a lot to say about your fight, but you managed to finish him in the first round, what do you have to say in reply to his comments?

Jack Hammer was a tough opponent. He talked a loud talk but he was just promoting the fight. I have no hard feelings

Tony "Does the name Fedor ring a bell now? You shoulda known better to disrespect anybody named Fedor but everyone named Fedor? You're right when you said he made a living off crushing cans genius. News flash Jack you're a career gatekeeper. That makes you another can that stands in the way of Fedor & the title. Fedor is going home to smack your wife on the ass as she makes him breakfast after an easy day at work kicking your ass!"

Q3: You have faced some tough competition and was part of the "Golden generation" of contender 265lbs graduates, which was the toughest fight so far?

Fedor "Kit Jaeger." (Keith Jaeger)

Tony "Keith Jaeger."

Q4: Trent Pope for the title next, he has been on fantastic form so far, what do you think your odds are and do you have anything to say to your upcoming opponent?

Fedor: My odds are very good. It is an honor to fight the champ. I look forward to the fight.

Tony "Fedor says he's the greatest heavyweight ever to fight out of Russia and he's gonna prove that by kicking Trent Pope's ass and taking his belt."

Syncronicity and GAMMA of Las Vegas have agreed on a 2 fight deal between 2 of their best ever fighters, Jeremy Tonal (GAMMA) and Tonal vs Lucas Lavey. The first fight will take place in GAMMA on the 19th of November with the return fight taking place in Syn 2-3 weeks later depending on the health of the fighters.

GAMMA is in negotiation with several other fighters including Jan David and Alan Bundy. While Uriel Amok is currently on a 5-0 winning streak for his tour of Finland!

I am a little late with this, but mid last week Richard Davenport became the second manager in GAMMA's history to be ranked #1 manager while having at least one fighter inside GAMMA.

The last time this was achieved is way back in early 2011 when Grund McGrunderson (manager of Yudovich and Khalifman) hit the #1 manager spot.

The Matazz v Redenbacher ended up being a huge success for GAMMA, pushing us temporarily back into the top 10 and ranking over 220 rating points. Matazz ended the fight in spectacular fashion as he usually does and we have already planned a new super fight for him at Nexus vs ex-GAMMA and NEXUS 205lbs champ Berkshire Hathaway. The fight will take place on the 3rd of December.

Alan Bundy will be travelling to Honor FC for their final event, which will be on PPV for the 26th of November. This will be their very last event before closing their doors. Alan will be facing Tauno Palo in a spectacular super fight.

GAMMA 205lbs super star Uriel Amok is currently on a super fight tour at NFC and is on a fantastic 5-0 streak at the moment!

This takes GAMMA's super fight history to 18-2-0 (W-L-D) and all those fights were up against highly ranked competition.

GAMMA is proud to announce its official sponsor Sublime Supplements! Sublime is a company i know personally now since the very first day it was opened way back in early 2010. It was built up from scratch by one of our long time loyal managers Brad O'Neil and he took the very long root in trying to personally fund the whole project.

Today it is one of the leading companies in Las Vegas nutrition (ranked #2 in hype), boasting a Q150 and Q159 energy supplement.

Recently RAW Nutrition run by top GAMMA manager Jack Smith (which is known as being the manager of current 265lbs champ Trent Pope), became the official sponsor of the GAMMA contenders.

These 2 companies currently rank in the top 5 of the Las Vegas nutrition industry, so it is a huge honor to have them both on board.

Last night was a night to remember as Tonal beat Lavey in his super fight to become the very first #1 ranked GAMMA fighter ever! Jeremy Tonal was one of those guys which joined GAMMA way way back when we just started over 2 years ago, so to see one of our rookies go all the way to #1 spot was really something special.

In the Co-main even rising star Karl Denke defended his title against prominent contender Dace Kilian, to add to his current fantastic run at 185lbs.

Several other records were broken on the night, we broke our all time attendance record, all time ticket revenue, all time rating record and it pushed GAMMA to #4 worldwide which is also our highest ranking ever. We managed to do all that without booking a PPV which ads even more to the whole event.

I wanted to tell everyone about the GAMMA super fight short list. Basically this is a list of some of the top GAMMA fighters which will participate in super fights against other, similarly ranked opponents around the world. The people which get onto this list are generally fighters which have an established record, usually fighters which have reached (or almost reached) their maximum potentential and are generally ranked in the top 500 p4p or there abouts. Some are current title holders, others are simply top level fighters in their division.

Fighters will under normal cercumstances participate in the regular GAMMA fights, however if someone reaches the top of his division OR is a top contender which has just recently fought for the title and lost AND that contender has already fought most of the top end fighters of the division, we could consider giving him a few super fights to make things interesting. Obviously if a suitable bout arises among the GAMMA ranks, he will be back competing in GAMMA as usual.

"Globetrotting" which is what i want to call this was originally started off with Jeremy Tonal, back in the day he became the first GAMMA fighter to officially participate in a bout outside of the organization. It started off as just a couple of rounds in the biggest tournament (He was participating in the Syn Millioniare tournament), but he went on to win the whole thing!

Our current record stands at 21-2-0 and these were not some "rigged" fights, we are talking about top level competition!

This list will be given to several of the top org owners and basically it is an open invitation\challenge. We will of course consider every fight individually. But if someone makes it to this list, it basically means we are confident he can basically fight anyone.

We are currently waiting for approval from the managers before making the list official.

Note: GAMMA's super fight record against other orgs stands at 21-2-0.

Alan Bundy became only the second fighter in GAMMA history to hold a GAMMA belt and another organizations belt at the same time, he achieved the feat by defeating Tauno Palo in Honor FC very last event last night.

The first to achieve the goal was Karl Denke, when he held both the MIFC and GAMMA 185lbs titles. Both MIFC and Honor are now defunct.

The Bundy win took the GAMMA super fight record to a remarkable 21-2-0!!!

We are excited to announce that AFC in St Petersburg and GAMMA have just closed a long term agreement for fighter exchange and collaboration. In the terms of the agreement, GAMMA management will act as an advisor towards the future success of AFC. It will also see the opportunity for top level AFC fighters to get promoted to the GAMMA roster.

Xmas eve is known for its puddings, trees, turkeys and in some places of the world such as Las Vegas, for its super bouts!!!

GAMMA will be hosting arguably the largest bout in its history as Jeremy Tonal (#1 p4p) faces up to the ex-p4p champion Golden Glory (#16 p4p)in a fight which should determine the p4p king of the year.

Richard Davenport (Jeremy Tonal manager) was the person which originally knocked Golden off the #1 spot in a bout which took place in Syn last month, so Glory is searching for his revenge fight.

Jeremy has agreed to move up to 265lbs for this fight, so Golden will have a huge weight advantage going into the fight.

The fight will take place in a packed Wanderlay Bay arena and 12,000 fans are expected to be there to watch what some consider as being the fight of the year.

GAMMA has agreed 2 more super fights. Up and coming 265lbs fighter Fred Ettish travels to London to face current Original Revelation Generation champion Mr Lime in what should be a really interesting encounter.

The big one though will be between current 265lbs champ Trent Pope and Osaka Niten Ichi champion Noah Payne. That fight will take place in Tokyo on New years eve and many people see it as a major chance for Pope to hit the top 20 p4p if we pulls off the win.

This is the first time fighters from GAMMA have traveled to London or Tokyo for super fights.

Last night was a night to remember, as GAMMA held its most hyped event every with a 337.11 rating, the 3rd highest in Las Vegas history!

This was the first time we held a PPV, so it was to be expected, however headlining the event were two mammoth fighters, ex-p4p champ Golden Glory and current p4p and GAMMA 205lbs champion Jeremy Tonal.

Glory was going into the fight with a huge 60lbs weight advantage in a fight which would determine the fighter of the year. Jeremy Tonal took control early on in the first round to win the fight by TKO to remain #1 ranked in the world turn the year.

The rating pushed GAMMA to #2 ranked org in the world, which is the highest ranking GAMMA has every achieved!

Anton Chigurh will be facing up again Luke Daigle on the 7th of January in yet another GAMMA super fight!

Anton Chigurh is currently first in line to face Trent Pope for the 265lbs title fight, however before he gets a shot at the title he will need to face Syn Euro's Luke Daigle currently ranked in the top 200 p4p.

Both fighters are very even, so a very close fight is expected.

Trent "Limp" Pope last night broke the previous record for highest ranking 265lbs p4p fighter by beating Noah Payne in the first round. This moved him up to #14 in the p4p ratings and will be back to defend his title in GAMMA. His next opponent will likely be Anton Chigurh assuming he can win his super fight with Daigle.

In other news Keith Jaeger suprised everyone by going to the 4th round of the 265lbs millionaire tourney, eventually losing to Momoko Yamaguchi. This was never the less a huge success for Keith as it was not expected he would get past the 2nd round.

On the 14th of January 2012, Jeremy Tonal will go up against Kalle Reinikainen in what many have already called the fight of the century!

This will be a massive fight where current #1 p4p fighter, MMA Tycoon hall of famer and current 205lbs GAMMA champion will take on #3 p4p and current 185lbs NFC champion Kalle Reinikainen.

The fight will take place in Finland Helsinki and is expected to be watched by well over 10,000 fans.

This weekend we will witness 2 of the top 205lbs fighters face each other on the Rothchild vs Denke co-main event as Matazz will go up against Banshees. Both fighters were previously ranked #18 and #7 p4p recently but have both had 2 tough losses pushing them back down the ratings. This fight will be a good opportunity for both to prove they still have the talent to make a proper push in the ratings.

For those of you which misses last weekends results, Anton Chigurh beat Luke Daigle in his super fight with an very impressive TKO in the 1st round and will be facing up against dominant 265lbs GAMMA champion Trent Pope, currently ranked top 10 in the 265lbs p4p ratings. This will probably be the biggest test for Trent for the title up to date.

In other news, Fred Ettish won his super fight in London against Mr Translucent and will be having one more before he moves back to Las Vegas next month.

This takes GAMMA's super fight record worldwide to 24-6-0.

I am proud to announce that GAMMA has reached a rating of over 90% (93% to be precise) out of a total of 40 votes. As far as i can see, very few orgs worldwide have over 35 votes and still have a rating over 90%.

I would like to thank our managers to showing their recognition towards GAMMA, helping us stay so high in the rankings for so long.

Jeremy Tonal beat Kalle Reinikainen in their fight with a fantastic 5th round TKO. Most judges had him losing the fight up until that point, however he stayed in long enough to test Kalle's chin and knock him out cold. He will be facing Ares Constantinides at Blitz Rio next.

Raz Matazz got a TKO win over Siouxsie Banshees and will be likely facing Siouxsie again in a pre-planned rematch. There have also been some rumors that Raz could be moving back to the 185lbs division which originally created his legacy as the only undefeated 185lbs champ in GAMMA history, as well as the longest reigning champ in any division ever.

Karl Denke impressed in his rematch for the title and it has already been agreed that he will be participating as GAMMA's representative in the 2 million$ 185lbs tournament which will start in March. He could have one title defense before he goes though.

Two of the premier orgs in Las Vegas go head to head in yet another encounter! Both organizations have had a close relation in the past months and have already had various very interesting super fights. The collaboration continues with yet again two more great bouts.

Knocke Bensmock has just fought for the 185lbs title in Nexus and will go up against ex-185lbs champ Bancroft Rothschild. Both have a lot to prove after recently losing their title bouts, so this will be an interesting test for both of them.

Carl Denke is already confirmed for the 185lbs 2 million dollar tourney, however before he goes he will face up against current 185lbs Nexus champion J Blunts, which happens to be managed by ex-185lbs champ and legend Raz Matazz.
