Mahmoud Denjat beat Alan Bundy over the weekend to become just the 7th champion of the 170lbs belt and only the 3rd in the past 2 years.

Alan Bundy had a fantastic run, holding the title for 1 whole year with 7 title defenses. His run came 1 day short of Alexander Khalifman record, which also had 12 title defenses during his 1 year reign.

Anton Chigurh became the new 265lbs champion after he defeated Trent Pope in an impressive display of MMA, mid way through the second round with a TKO win. With this win Anton moves up into #26 for the worldwide p4p rankings, which is the 5th highest in GAMMA history and the second highest behind just Trent Pope.

Pope had a very impressive run on the top of the 265lbs division, holding onto the title longer than anyone else in GAMMA history, while also becoming the first ever to defend the title more than 3 times (7 in total).

Fighter Profile:

Mikhail Yudovich (15928)

Hometown: Vladivostok

Country: Russia

Fought from: 2009-07-19 (GAMMA#15 till 2011-03-05 (GAMMA#172)

18-4-0 inside GAMMA and 18-7-0 Overall

- 185 and 205lbs title winner (first ever to hold 2 titles at 2 different weights)

- 10 fight win streak

= 9 Title defenses

- 15 Fight of the night awards

- Top 100 ranked fighter

For a long period of time considered the cornerstone of GAMMA. His win over Jeremy Tonal for the 205lbs title is considered one of the greatest upsets in MMA history.

The downfall of Yudovich was the fact that his manager basically went inactive and lost interest, after losing the 205lbs title, he then left GAMMA to go on a 3 fight losing streak before eventually retiring from the sport.

Karl Denke last night became only the 16th person in GAMMA history to make it to the top 100 p4p club after he beat current 185lbs Nexus king J Blunts in their super fight.

Karl, which is getting ready for the highly prestigious 2 million$ tourney later on next month, has become a huge draw since his rise to prominence and is considered arguably the best ever 185lbs champion GAMMA has ever had besides Raz Matazz which still holds the record from most 185lbs title defences.

4 Fighters promoted from Contenders:

Danny Tanner: Is one of the longest standing Contender fighters to be promoted. He had a very impressive 6 fight winning streak, beating notable names just as ex-GAMMA fighter Ali Newman and long time top candidate Ansatsuken Ryu. Danny achieved a 1598 p4p ranking and led all 205lbs fighters before getting promoted.

Fidel Duberry: Is one of the biggest prospects to ever join and be promoted from Contenders. He only had one fight in contenders, a win over veteran Dirk Jaminson, however he managed to reach a ranking of 624 p4p which is an all time record for a contender fighter.

Dylan Summers: His rise to stardom in contenders was very impressive. He had a long run win 5 wins and one loss. His only loss was against Peter Cabreros (also a graduate to the GAMMA roster). Dylan pulled of a huge upset beating Matthew Murdock by split decision, taking him to 896 p4p.

Matthew Murdock: One of the longest standing Contender fighters ever, He had a 7-2 record and his only losses were against Summer and Cabreros, both of which are now part of GAMMA. He signed a pre-contract, but will first participate in the 170lbs tourney.

GAMMA and Nexus have agreed to merge. A large portion of the Nexus roster has already moved to join the GAMMA roster over the past few days and several more are expected to join GAMMA in the next week. Lower level fighters have already started to join GAMMA: Contenders.

Nexus was one of the key organizations in Laz Vegas and the game for a VERY long time, regularly holding top 10 postions in the world rankings. In recent months Dwayne Perry has been scaling down his activity due to real life issues and after long negotiations decided it was best to call it a day. Nexus and GAMMA have had a very close relationship over the past months with several very interesting super fights and the merge was always the best option for everyone. We wish everyone from Nexus which have joined a successful run in GAMMA.

Jeremy Tonal continued his giant killer tradition by slaughtering highly impressive 265lbs top rated fighter Merrimac Mjolnir. Jeremy did what he does best by ending the fight in the second round by TKO due to cuts. This extends Tonal's run as top p4p fighter worldwide for close to 4 months.

96.7% VIP rating!!!

GAMMA has reached a rediculous VIP rating of almost 97%. Our 185lbs, 205lbs divisions are totally VIP at the moment. In fact we only have 4 fighters non-VIP at the moment and all those fighters are long time GAMMA veterans with very strong records inside the cage including record breaker Kyle Scissors and ex-265lbs champ Tony Mendez.

We are now into the 3rd round of the Syn millionaire tournament and already 2 of our fighters have been knocked out of the running. Going into the tournament we had 3 fighters competing. We was extremely unlucky because in the first round Tank The Razors Edge faced Matthew Murdock, both of which are GAMMA fighters! Tank ended up winning that competition. Our top seed Karl Denke easilly won his first fight but in the second round went up against an alliance mate and he lost a decision vs Pete Doherty.

Tank got a huge win in the second round over favorite Tito Hopkins and he is now in the 3rd round of the tourney, so all fingers crossed that he can keep up the great form.

Anton is the current GAMMA HW champion and has won 6 of his last fights. There will be a return fight to take place in SF 2-3 weeks after the first fight takes place.

Brenno "Napalm" Penna has just been promoted from GAMMA Contenders. Brenno is a long time veteran with a total of 17-11 and at the age of 28y we felt it was time he stepped up a level. He is one of the longest standing Contender fighters with a total of 15 fights, 10 of which he won. His recent streak was very impressive, winning the past 5 fights taking him up into the top 3000 p4p. This makes him one of the most successful fighters in contender history.

2 fighters inducted to HoF

Hendo Han

He was without much doubt one of the most exciting fighters ever. Eventually his manager released him after a second loss to Jack Hammer and after a couple more fights was retired.

John Rivero

Fought in GAMMA from 2009-06-10 till 2010-03-06. His record in GAMMA was 8-3. Was te first 205lbs title winner and had 2 Fight of the night awards. He probably never reached his full potential due to a change in management, but was a top level fighter during the early GAMMA days.

GAMMA has always kept a good relationship with the local Las Vegas organizations and after a short break is back with 2 huge 185lbs fights with EUFC.

Nova Uniao has been on fantastic form for GAMMA with just one loss since joining. He has just one fight on his deal and it has been agreed that he will go up against top EUFC contender Harry Distacio. This fight will take place in EUFC.

Champion Karl Denke will go up against EUFC 185lbs keypin Lazarus Jones. Karl will want to regain his good form after getting knocked out of the Syn Tournament earlier in the past month and this is a major place to get started. This fight will headline the GAMMA#231 card.

Ex-185lbs champion Raz Matazz has returned to the weight class which gave him so much success. Raz was the longest reigning GAMMA champion at 185lbs with an 22-0 winning streak before he moved down to 205lbs to fight Jeremy Tonal. He went 8-5 at 205lbs.

Raz re-signed a new contract at 185lbs today and will be competing in his best weight class which gave him so much success. He is already ranked #1 among the competition and will wait for Denke to complete his Super fight against EUFC's Lazarus Jones.

Alan Bundy (the current GAMMA 170lbs champion) will be moving over to Golden Standard for a huge super fight against current 170lbs champion Herman Pacquiao. The fight is against 2 of the top 100 p4p fighters in the world so a lot is on the line as the winner will probably end up well into the top 10 of the 170lbs division, opening up several interesting options.

The greatest fighter ever Jeremy Tonal will be going up against 24-0 and self proclaimed "best 205lbs fighter ever" Snake The Pendulum in what should be a huge fight for both fighters. a lot of hype goes into this fight and the whole process of getting the fight booked was a major obstacle. In the end it was agreed the fight will take place in neutral territory and is set in Syn Las Vegas on the 5th of May.

Another major super fight for GAMMA is the Anton Chigurh vs The Pale Moonlight fight planned for Sauna Fights. Anton will need to rebound after losing his last super fight to Emeka two weeks ago in the GAMMA main event and The Pale Moonlight is a HUGE fight to start from.

Review: Alan Bundy v Peter Cabreros

Alan and Peter go at each other for the GAMMA 170lbs title this weekend after Alan had a recent super fight away from GAMMA.

Alan Bundy is arguably the best ever GAMMA 170lbs champion together with Alexander Khalifman, with a total of 10 title defences. He has been struggling at the super fight level though and is 1 of 4 in his recent super fights and just 3 wins out of the past 6 fights.

Peter Cabreros has been on a great run of himself recently beating top contender Pound Mcgee via a decision. In fact all the past 4 wins for Peter have been decision wins, with him losing just one out of his last 6 since joining GAMMA: Contenders and then GAMMA. If Peter wins, he will become just the 3rd GAMMA champion at 170lbs in the past 1 1/2 years.

Prediction: Alan Bundy is the favorite i would say, with a 70% chance. If this goes the distance though Peter could scrape a decision win.

Iiro Tolonen vs Anton Chigurh will take place on the 5th of May in NFC. Iiro is currently ranked #3 p4p in the world and is without a doubt the biggest fight in Anton's career. Anton has been on fantastic form since his move from Syn to GAMMA, currently holding the 265lbs title after dethroning Trent Pope and is currently on a 7-1 winning streak.

Jeremy started his career way back in the early GAMMA days as a rookie with 1 QFC experience. The org was still growing with just a few months in the market and Jeremy was a "decent" up and coming 205lbs fighter. When i say decent, that is basically all he was, he had a 8-4 record with us, so he was not exactly lighting up the 205lbs division.

Then came the decision to participate in the first Millionaire 205lbs tournament to take part in Syn. I remember that tournament vividly and it probably one of the best we have ever seen. Jeremy went into that one as one of the lowest seeds and nobody knew anything about him. When he got Earl Lee Swagger in the next round me and Deamus (Jeremy's manager, also known as Richard Davenport in game) did not expect us to get past the 2nd round. What nobody knew was Early would be the first of a total of 19 fighters ranked in the top 100 p4p to lose in the greatest streak ever seen.

Jeremy has lost just 1 time in his last 20 fights and that was against Jigoro Kane, a guy he later decisively demolished. Here is the people he beat and their peak p4p ranking:

Snake The Pendulum (48406) 5 p4p

Budo Rei (125922) 8 p4p

Merrimac Mjolnir (24699) 2 p4p

Jigoro Kane (1357) 1 p4p

Moses Diggs (73449) 15 p4p

Kalle Reinikainen (82669) 2 p4p

Golden Glory (86108) 1 p4p

Lucas LaVey (51013) 7 p4p

Bubba KillsInWater (10357) 1 p4p

Johnny Juggernaut (24646) 40 p4p

Raz Matazz (25622) 18 p4p (beat him twice)

The Rhino (67644) 64 p4p

Bubba Clem (30075) 35 p4p

Bill Hickok (34221) 10 p4p

Berkshire Hathaway (24633) 9 p4p

John Keynes (27279) 2 p4p

Zirry Swan (18101) 7 p4p (Syn tournament final)

Jerry Millen (29923) 12 p4p

Earl Lee Swagger (22621) 21 p4p

Most of those he was fighting at their very peak in their career, several of them were HW fighters! His great streak started with the Millionaire tourney, which he ended up winning to the surprise of everyone. That put Jeremy (and to an extent GAMMA) on the map. The Jerry Millen win was HUGE back in the day.

Straight after the tourney everyone wanted to fight Tonal and a super fight against the then Syn champ John Keynes happened straight off the bat which he won by decision. That was the first major fight to ever take place in GAMMA.

What most people do not know is that when his career was starting out, Jeremy was a LOT worse than his opposition. He basically grinded out wins via decision.

Tonal then came back to GAMMA to try and win back the title he lost. Unfortunately for him, he never got a shot against his old nemesis Mikhail Yudovich which he lost the title to, mainly because Mikhail was on the down and was virtually inactive by then. However the 205lbs was packed with HUGE talent such as Raz Matazz

Bubba Clem, Bill Hickok and Berkshire Hathaway, making it our deepest division ever. He ended up steamrolling through all of them with 4 defenses of the title. The first Raz Matazz fight was probably the most hyped fight among GAMMA fighters to date. Raz won the first round, but ended up losing the fight to a cut, the rematch was a decisive win to Tonal though.

After that, both me and Deamus decided to push Jeremy to the limits and put him up against the worlds best and since September 2011 he has been on his world tour beating top 10 p4p fighters one after one and the rest is history.

What made Jeremy so successful? He has great hidden's, fantastic KO power, untouchable chin, he got the right training to become the complete fighter, so now he can finish you standing, on the ground (with gnp) or even via dirty boxing in the clinch. But most of all it id down to Deamus and his right management and strategy, he seems to always find a "way" in every fight to get himself the win. Do not get me wrong, some of the success comes down to luck, some fights could of went the other way, but overall it was the combination of all those factors.

In honor to Jeremy, dinooo made a great video on the new UFC Undisputed engine for Jeremy, you can see in this video some of his greatest KO's. dinooo tried to emulate some of the KO's as they happened and in the fashion they happened.

The order of the KO's:

Jerry Millen

Kalle Reinikainen

Jigoro Kane

Moses Diggs

Budo Rei

Raz Matazz

Jeremy has been #1 p4p since last November

and what happens from this point onwards does not really matter, Jeremy Tonal is easily the best the MMATycoon world has ever seen and probably the best it ever will see.

The best there was (Raz Matazz) will go up against the best there is (Karl Denke) in a fight for the 185lbs GAMMA title.

Raz Matazz was on the longest ever streak for GAMMA in any division before he moved up to 205lbs. He was undefeated at 185lbs. Raz has also recovered some of his previous mystic, winning the last 3 of his fights before moving down to his natural weight.

Karl Denke has been the best 185lbs fighter of recent times, regaining his title from Bancroft in their rematch. Karl has however been on a poor run as of late, losing in the second round of the Millionaire tourney (which he was seeded highly in) and also losing his latest super fight with the EUFC 185lbs champion.

It is hard to put a prediction in this one, however probably Raz does have the edge. You can never count Karl Denke out of this one though, especially if you consider that he is extremely difficult to finish. A decision fight could go either way.

GAMMA#236 will go down as probably the biggest GAMMA event in some time, if not ever as we have 2 HUGE fights on the main event and co-main event.

Jeremy Tonal finally has come back to GAMMA to defend his title after a long run globe trotting demolishing everyone in his path. He will come up against William Mackenzie King which in his own right has deserved this title shot after beating everyone not called Raz Matazz since 2011-07-03 when he last lost to Mariusz Pudzianowski while he was still in ACME. This is William's great moment as he has earned the "honor" to fight for the belt. There is no point in talking about who is the favorite for this fight, if William can come out and pull off a win, it will basically be the biggest in MMATycoon history for sure.

Top 265lbs GAMMA contender Beno Gruffo will be up against Golden Standard's Jobe Nkemakolam in the co-main event. Beno has been on a good run, recently beating Jaeger for the top contender fight. Jobe is the current GS top dog and this will be a major test for Beno.

Beno Gruffo has yet to renew his contract, so this could be his last fight if nothing can be negotiated soon.

Last week was one of the most surprising in GAMMA's very long history. First GAMMA 265lbs champion Anton Chigurh went into a fight with NFC top 10 p4p ranked fighter Iiro Tolonen as the clear underdog. Anton ended up coming out of that fight with a spectacular win. The whole card itself which was headlined by that fight was ranked #2 worldwide as the most hyped card in MMATycoon history. Anton's next fight will be against Emeka Shakur, which is one of the few losses Anton has had in recent months and he is hoping to get some revenge in the rematch. Anton was ranked #6 p4p after the Iiro fight which is the second highest in GAMMA's history.

Next came the HUGE fight between GAMMA's champion Jeremy Tonal and top contender William Mackenzie King. Jeremy was on a 6 month reign as #1 p4p fighter in the world coming into that fight, with a record of 7 defenses of that status. William was his first title defense in GAMMA since he fought against Raz Matazz back in Autumn 2011. William won the 5 round decision to be crowned 205lbs champion, which probably ranks the win as the biggest upset in MMATycoon history!

This was also the first time in GAMMA's history that we had 2 fighters ranked in the top 10 p4p at the same time. We had both Jeremy Tonal + Anton Chigurh and William Mackenzie King + Anton Chigurh both ranking top 10 p4p in the same week!

William Mackenzie King Interview

Question #1 You are having a great time at GAMMA since joining, going 9-2 with 7 of the night awards. Do you feel you are reaching your peak as a fighter or can we see more of you in the future?

William: I really feel like I'm only now just hitting my stride. I've been a little inconsistent, lost a couple fights where I was the better guy, but now that i've got a lot of momentum I think I can do some great things.

Question #2 Your two losses came from the same guy Raz Matazz, what went wrong in those 2 fights?

William: I didn't pace myself. I want to put on a show for the fans and Matazz likes to come to swing leather so I get caught up in the slugfest. Next thing I know I'm taking too many shots, can't keep my hands up, and its over. That guy can really hit, but each time I feel it could have been either of us.

Question #3 You have just been crowned 205lbs champion, what do you have to say to your fans and opponents?

William: I just want to thank my fans and sponsors. The last GAMMA 205 champ did great things, so I look forward to topping that.

Question #4 Your win over Jeremy Tonal is probably the biggest upset in MMA Tycoon history. He was the p4p best rated fighter for over 6 months going into that fight before you managed to beat him. What do you think helped you win the fight?

William: I felt like I was disrespected in this fight, like nobody was taking me seriously. Just because I lost to Matazz and Tonal beat Matazz. How could I stand a chance? Problem for him is, with my power I'm a live dog in every single fight. Tonal got cocky. He thought he could stand in front of me and trade punches, and I wore him down with the big shots. You should avoid my punches next time. Guy is tough as nails though, not many guys I don't put away.
