DFN Middleweight Grand Prix (375k+ MMA Creation Tournament)

With the launching of Diamond Fight Nights, Tokyo's latest promotion we would like to announce the DFN Middleweight Grand Prix! We seek 8 to 16 of the brightest young prospects to battle it out for glory and riches.

 

 

Double Elimination
16 participants
Middleweight - fighter must weigh no less than 185 lbs
Fighter must be made on or after May 8th
Fighter must be no older than 18
One round every 4 weeks - decided by poll

 

The finals round of this tournament will see the last two remaining competitors battle it out to be crowned the inaugural DFN Middleweight Champion. In addition to this, there are several other prizes and awards up for grabs.

1st place = $500,000
2nd place = £250,000
3rd place` = $150,000

`if a bout determining 3rd place happens

Fastest Knockout = $50,000
Fastest Submission = $50,000
Flying / Spinning shit = $50,000*
Slamming shit = $50,000*
Muay Thai shit = $50,000*

 

*each instance of flying & spinning finishes, knockouts via slam, knees and elbow finishes (including cut inflicted by elbows) will earn the victor a prize of $50,000. Multiple prizes can be won by each fighter, and the total sum will be sent directly to the manager they belong to at the time the tournament ends.

Just btw, I only voted for double elimination because I was forced to (can't vote for one but not the other). I don't really care either way. So feel free to disregard that if you want.

Yes, it will - since its likely going to be double elimination it'll give you guys more of a chance of rolling a dude you'd like to keep.
