Dragon Reborn Posted December 11, 2022 Report Share Posted December 11, 2022 As a promotion to help fill some cards AON will be hosting a 25 year old creation KO tournament. This tournament will be different than what you are used to. All fighters will be 25 year old creations weight 265-270lbs as this tournament will take place in the 265 division. Scoring will not be based on wins, but on KO/TKO finishes. The idea number for this tournament would be 10 fighters. We will roll with 8 if we do not fill the full 10 slots. Fights will be 14-15 days apart. 14 days unless a fighter has a 15 day injury in which we will push the date back one more day to clear the injury flag. This will prevent the tournament from taking several months to complete. Every fighter will fight every other fighter one time. Points are very basic and simple. Win: 2 points TKO/KO : 5 points Inflict Cut: 1 point Decision: -1 point **For future rules, TKO(CUTS) will not be counted as a full 5 points due to the injury inflicts and slowing of the tournament progress. Cuts still score points as do KOs, but doctor stoppage will result in reduced points of 3 instead of 5 for the finish. This will not be implemented in this season to keep things fair.** Winner of this tournament will receive 2 million tycoon cash and a KO King trophy. (Increased from 1mil) If there is interest, this will be a repeating tournament where we change up the weight class every time. Any donations towards the prize pool will be accepted and added. The award is All or Nothing, as is the org name, so winner take all in this one. TIPS: Remember your fighter will be able to train, but your skills to start off are vital. Focus on your striking skills as this is a KT tournament. Focus on your build and the fact that you want to get finishes. Decisions will not win this thing for you. This is a KO tournament. So as long as your creation date on fighter says JAN 04 2023 you are good to go. Test all you want, find the fighter you want to use, and submit your participant by Friday 13th and the first round will take place on Friday the 20th. Each round will be two weeks apart after that. We will be allowed to create more than one fighter and test them before finally entering a fighter? Honestly, it's not that I'm looking for an advantage in the tourney, more that, win or lose, I don't want to invest so much time (10 player round robin is a long tourney) on a fighter with no future.
