Creation date will be when 395k arrives (not that far off) Concept is simple. Team of three fighters will represent their country against all comers with the aim of becoming World Champions of MMATYCOON! Exact tournament format will be confirmed once we have an idea of how many teams there will be but the idea is very much like the Football World Cup (Group stage qualification into straight knockout phase all the way to the finals) TEAMS Team will consist of three fighters. One at each of the following weights 135lbs (Must be created at 135lbs and remain there for duration of tournament) 170lbs (Must be created at 170lbs and remain there for duration of tournament) 265lbs+ (Must be created at 300lbs and remain there for duration of tournament) Managers can field two fighters if they wish (meaning teams will comprise of either 2 or 3 managers overall) Teams MUST pick a country to represent and the fighters must reflect that country (either via country of origin or background story) Nation allocation will be on a first come first served basis. FIGHTERS Must be 18 at creation Training and testing is allowed. There will be at least a month before the tournament starts to create, test and register your fighter (will be decided nearer the time) FORMAT 16 Teams 4 Groups of 4 (drawn at random) Teams face each other once Top 2 teams per group qualify for knockout stages. Bottom 2 teams per group eliminated. Knockout stage will consist of Quarter-Final (4 more teams eliminated) Semi-Final (4 remaining teams sorted into 3rd Place & Final Match Up) 3rd Place Match (To decide Bronze medallists) & Final (To decide Gold and Silver medallists) FIGHTS Match wins are decided by a best out of three fights (135lbs, 170lbs & 300lbs) but will also be calculating points to use as a tiebreaker. 1st Round Finish = 5 Points 2nd Round Finish = 4 Points 3rd Round Finish = 3 Points Decision Win = 2 Points Draw = 1 Point Loss = 0 Points Any fighter that doesn't accept the fight offer will go down as a forfeit loss which is counted as a maximum point win for opponent. This also goes for any fighter who is either under/over that stipulated weight class or isn't repping their chosen country properly (either by country of origin or background story in the bio) PRIZES The WINNING team will receive 1 Million per Manager and a GOLD medal trophy Second Place will receive 500k per manager and a SILVER medal trophy Third Place will receive 250k per manager and a BRONZE medal trophy ADDITIONAL INFO The Fighter and Team Selection phase will end SUNDAY 30th APRIL All Teams that wish to compete must be declared by this date. The first round of fights will begin three weeks later on SUNDAY 21st MAY and all subsequent rounds will follow every three weeks after that.
