The1rstSaint
I expected the Island to be a disappointment but in regard to fights being accepted it's been an A plus, that's the bright side. I was hoping there would be a lot more involvement in smack talk and such though( God knows I try to chip in with other managers tournaments and orgs content) but let's face it nobody cares about this stuff anymore. I really appreciate the couple of you who have chipped in @Fireballer34and @CelticStryder. Let's just book fights and get this Island season over, I will continue to update the League standings and such but I'm just 100% at a loss for enthusiasm with the rest for now.
Skuzbukit
Must admit I tend to be quiet at the start of a season/tournament until I get a feel for the fighter & what they seem to be good/bad at and how the competition has stacked up, waxing lyrical about a fighter or opponent doesn't have much appeal until I gain a bit of a handle on them. At least that's my excuse.

First; best record takes precedence...Example two guys have 12 points one is 2-2 the other is 3-1, Then the fighter with the 3-1 record will advance. Second; This one will have to be decided by the fighters, but there could be a Sudden Death scenario where two of the tied fighters can fight each other for the spot. Injuries could be a set back and it would have to be booked quickly. More than likely sudden death fights will be on a Wednesday event. Third; will be Current Island rank overall. If you finished your League Fights you can and potentially will still be booked, they just won't count in the league, more for Bragging rights heading into the Playoff. A good example of that is Bantamweights a few fighters have already finished their league fights but have been booked. Which I have zero problem if a fighter just wants to wait out for the Playoff portion as well. Important : The League Points Cut off will be March 17th. So, if some fighters can make that day (Injuries) that need or want to squeeze in one last fight in hopes to make a playoff seed I will be booking an extra event for that day. If needed. Playoffs will began Saturday March 30th!

Fireballer34
Maynard misses with a left hand and Ortiz counters with a left right combination that sends Maynard crashing to the mat - Ortiz wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Maynard out for a TKO! Devastating finish! Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adrian Ortiz! Adrian Ortiz: Let’s go papi! I am now locked in to the MILF tournament after a great fight against Mr. Head Kick. I don’t think anyone else on the island knows how to kick, but it has been working for him. Until he faced me obviously. My next fight will just be a warm up for the tournament, where I will show everyone my true power! Get ready gringos, Adrian Ortiz is about to shock the world! (and claim his smack talk prize money. I have to say I didn’t have much competition ☹️)

Lennox Gilbey 0 Points (0-2-0) Eliminated I'm going to update the League standings one post at time for now, as I feel a little run down is in order for each division as well. Clearly Landin Durham has locked down the #1 seed at Bantamweight, but the question will be deciding the other seeds. So, at 135 we have an interesting fight coming up With Vincent Duboulay facing Jorge Baroza. Vincent is done with the league and not eligible to accumulate points, however a win will stop Baroza from advancing. There are still a few other fights that will decide the remaining fighters to advance including Money May vs Blazej, and Jeremiah Poney who will be welcoming a newcomer in Pacio. Saturday will be a crucial day to find out who advances at 135. Finally, Mike Miami is officially eliminated even with one last fight left he is officially gone. Which I spoke with him and he doesn't give a fuck, he simply Wants Mike to ADD Miami!

Fernando Aragon 0 Points (0-1-0) Eliminated 17. Jarno Saarinen 0 Points (0-2-0) Eliminated At Featherweight Dragon Kingdad has run the table with 4 straight 1rst round finishes and has the #1 seed on lock. Malcolm Young who is also 4-0 has a respectable 16 points will be the #2 seed. The biggest Wild Card has to be the outcome of Felix Dakat who has only had 1 fight as he faces Josh Jordan on 3/8 who is on his last fight. If Jordan wins, he advances with a first round finish he most likely grab the #3 seed. As for Dakat who currently 3 points has just but only 1 fight could be a big mover if he wins and doesn't get injured to bad, giving himself a shot to get a third fight in before the cutoff of March. 17th. Rodney Derek who still has one fight left has yet to sign so he may be eliminated due to withdrawal. I have given the Manager of Derek 3 days to accept his contract. Which these leaves three remaining spots. Got a few guys at the bottom looking for big wins but Injuries could play a big factor for them as well. King Watts had a big win with no bad injury today, so I will try to get him a fight booked soon and potentially a third, his fate is in his hands. If Walls gets a first-round win, he will capture the #1 seed. Meanwhile Vargas, Statefarm and Washington all look to have earned themselves a spot in the Playoff. Ryan Montana is on the hot seat as well as many others. Of the 5 fighters currently with 12 points, only Machado and Freaky Igor have fights remaining. Like Featherweight still quite a few down at the bottom of the standings with fights left so will have to see how it all plays out withing the next couple weeks. Jean Arlin looks to have the #2 seed on lock, but there is a longshot chance for Alien Invasion or Antti Kukko or even Pitter Patter who has 2 fights left potentially. Meanwhile Potter, Brooks, Zoric, Serrano, and Leandro all look to have clinched their spot in the 16 fighter playoff at 185. McCoy, Hamland, and Briggs all on the Bubble but just need a little luck on their side. Pitter Potter now 2-0 probably has the best chance to advance given he still has 2 fights and sits with 7 points currently. Newcomers Reid and Vargas both had big debuts but will need help from injuries and of course big wins in their next fights. Still a lot to be played out here at 185 so we will leave it at that for now.

Which in return has out Elix on the bubble as we wait to see how the remaining fights at 170 Play out. Still in the hunt but finished with the league aka on the bubble are Elix and Rafael Couture. Juarez is now a FA though so likely out. In the Hunt and still have fights lined up are Arturo Lowery who is booked against the red-hot Will Hutchison who is also still in the mix, Also Freaky Hiroshima will be facing Tommy Chong Jr both have a slim chance but need to big points. Finally, another long shot but if injuries don't interfere Jamison Hutchison could very well punch his ticket with a big win on 3/14 against Nate Robinson who will have his own plan to advance as he reaches his final fight of the league series.
The1rstSaint
All Playoff Events have been booked. The Goal is to run each event per weight class. I will get a better idea of which Weight Classes will start off the Playoffs for March 30th and 31rst after the events process for today. Probably wont be able to finalize this until after next weekend though which is the cut off for fighters to earn points(March 17th). Which after today we will have a total of 5 events remaining for the League. I booked a few intriguing fights giving some guys who are on the Bubble a shot to derail someone who could eventually knocked them out of the Playoff. So If anyone is wondering Playoffs start the weekend of March 30th and 31rst and round 1 will conclude the following week of April 6th and the 7th. There are 8 events in total ,each event will host a different Weight class. Lastly, I appreciate everyone for sticking this out thus far I was a little worried how the fighter cuts would go on the Island this season. Point standing for this weekends events will be updated later Today, Cheers!

Billy Clubber 0 Points (0-1-0) Eliminated 14. Aloha Joe 0 Points (0-1-0) Eliminated So, we are just about wrapped up here at Super Heavy. Just two fights will remain to determine the final two spots. Keep in mind I just booked them so it is subject to change. First off, a lot of injuries kept the majority of the Superheavy class out of the running to fight on March 17th but the bouts that I could book are below, and we will look at the scenarios involved. #1 Hatsumi Sen vs Jojo Dresden. Sen has already clinched, but he has shot to improve his seeding with a win here. As for Jojo if he can win with a first round finish, he will clinch a spot. If Jojo Dresden wins by a second round finish, we will have to look at the tie breaker process. a third round finish or a decision win or a Loss of any kind will Eliminated Jojo from the Playoff. Match #2 Don Domingo Dominguez vs Enorme Renaud. There were not many options for Triple D here as the only other fighters available for him to fight him were Tristan Sandoval and Semi Veaniu whom he already fought both of them so that was a no go. As I stated no duplicate fights would be book for the League. This is subject to change though if I can't get him a fight. Enore though doesn't have a bad injury, so I booked that. If Renaud wins, he will eliminate Dominguez. If Dominguez wins in any way he will advance to the playoff as he will only need 3 points. A loss or a draw will eliminate him though. Backup plan would be to have him fight Veaniu a second time though seeing as Semi is still on the bubble. So, there you go this is the Easy process haha, can't wait to break down the other divisions.

Fireballer34
Sandoval lands an uppercut, right on the button! Jewru tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy. Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tristan Sandoval! Again proving how much better MILF is than UIW was, Sandoval took down one of the better super heavyweights at UIW in a thriller. Despite many doubting he had the knockout power to finish this fight (including his manager), his opponent having a granite chin, and Sandoval cutting easily, he defied the odds and kicked ass. He once again proved that hiddens don’t matter, as evidenced by him still winning with bad power, chin, and cutting easily. He has now clinched the MILF tournament. Here’s what he had to say after the fight. Tristan Sandoval: Lets go!!! MILF tournament here I come baby! To all you haters out there, go fook yourself! Nobody can compete with the Twister! I knocked him down 5 times, you want to know why I let him get back up each time, even though I easily could have finished him on the ground? It’s cuz I was having fun! Those 4 1/2 minutes were the most fun of my life, just toying with this fool who thought he could win! Kristopher Marks, you took a beating today, but I know I’ll see you again and I’ll have my revenge! I’ll take care of that Scooter McGraw too. I’d make fun of him, but if he’s anything like Chick Hamland I don’t want to mess with him. Adrian told me about that one…

Boyko Mitcheck 0 Points (0-2-0) Eliminated Quite a few Fights have been booked to decide the outcome at Heavyweight #1 Bobby Bayou vs Louie Lopez. Bobby can clinch with a finish in any round. A decision for Bobby B will mean a Tie breaker will have to decide. Lopez can clinch with a win of any sort including a Decision or draw. #2 Frane Vinkovic vs Aleki Veainu. Aleki has already clinched but will get a chance to play spoiler as the options were slim pickens. As for Frane A win of any sort or a draw will give him a spot in the Playoff. #3 George Pogie vs Eduardo Zavala. Zavala was just signed so he is simply here to spoil the Pogie party. Pogie can clinch his playoff spot with a win of any sort or even with a draw. #4 Galen Fisherman vs Kukina Maluga. Fisherman can clinch with a win of any sort or a draw. Maluga will need a first round finish and then a tie breaker will need to be figured out. As you can see, we have 6 fighters currently sitting at 12 points. Judo Dan vs Jesse Kid was booked on 3/24 due to Dans injury and the fact Kidd has been inactive, but the fight was booked, and the winner will get a playoff spot even though the fight itself is after the cutoff date. no Points will be given but the winner gets a spot. This is what I would call an executive Decision. So, with those two out of the equation, and Frane, Bobby, Louie, Pogie, Fisherman, and even Maluga all having their fate in their own hands, that just leaves Kaito Tanaka and Bennet Peck who will just have to wait it out and hope luck is on their side. Yeah i got to take a break now, my heads ready to explode. We will take a look at LHW next.......

This leaves three remaining spots with Crazy Mike, Mario Isaksson, and Mr Pancit looking from the sidelines on the bubble currently. Below are the remaing fights that are in the works that will decide the final outcome. #1 Jayden Marsh vs Zahar Krulov. Marsh has already advanced but has the chance to derail Krulov's progress. Krulov who is currently sitting at 12 points and also on the bubble, will clinch with a draw or better. He could still make the cut if a tie breaker is in order as well. #2 Randall Cunningham vs Burt Craig. Cunningham could clinch with a Decision victory or better. Burt Craig is a new addition looking for spoils. #3 Zdenko Radic vs Jerome Browning. Zdenko on the other hand needs a 2nd Round Stoppage or better to clinch. A third round stoppage could put him in the running for the Tie breaker decision. Jerome a bit of a longshot but he will need a 1rst round finish and help from the Tie breaker rules. This fight is not booked but is to be once Radic's contract situation is resolved. #4 Zaid Owens vs Claes Rudberg. Rudberg another newcomer looking to spoil the day. While Ownes is also a longshot needing a first round finish just to get to the tie breaker decision.
Fireballer34
Mr Madness: It’s time to put the MADNESS back in MILF! Today is a very special day. We are welcoming Mr Fireballer34 onto the MILF team! Say hello to everyone Mr Fireballer! Fireballer34: Hello everyone! It’s a pleasure to be here with you Mr Madness. MM: And with you too. Anyway, what will you be doing for MILF? I can’t seem to remember what I hired you for. F: Yes, you did seem a bit off that night. What was going on? MM: Uhh… I was just contemplating the demise of the island in 2 months and whether I’d be erased off the face of the earth or not. F: Wow, let’s not go there just yet! There’s still 2 more months, plenty of time to renew the island spirit. Anyway, the reason I am here is to serve as a writer and to help out with tasks that are currently making Mr Tycoon Judas want to kill himself. MM: Oh that guy? I forgot he still worked here. Well, can we expect some good write ups? F: Hopefully! I’ll be covering the top fights from each card all the way up until the MILF tournament, where I will be covering the entire thing. MM: Why would you want to get your first writing job here? Doesn’t everyone know that this island is a smoking wreck of nobody giving a fuck? F: That’s precisely it. I want to bring some excitement back to the island! I encourage everyone to write about their fighters, there is still time! @Skuzbukit You should know your fighters well enough by now, there’s no more excuses! @CelticStryder what happened to Declan? He was the second most loved (next to Tristan of course) fighter on this island! @everyonelse Let’s get excited and save this island! MM: Wow, that was very inspirational. I’m glad I hired you Mr Fireballer F: No problem Mr madness. I just hope that the people reading this will decide to do something instead of just liking this post.
