  2. Insanity presents.... http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1430219525i85.jpg Insanity 85: Chu vs. Saades Los Angeles, Venice Beach (6,500) May 2nd Insanity graces the fans of Venice Beach as it breaks out with not one, but two title fights on the card. Both the heavyweight and the light heavyweight champions seek to defend their belts against challengers that could cause serious problems for them. The main event sees new signing, Pika Chu, make his long awaited debut against knockout machine and Colombian superstar, Octavio Saades. "The Thunderbolt" Pika Chu vs. Octavio Saades – 185lbs A huge main event as Pika Chu looks to start his Insanity career off on a good note, but to do that he must defeat Muay Thai specialist and heavy hitter, Octavio Saades. Pika Chu is a new signing to Insanity, he signed a few months ago but has decided to better his skill set in the gym before he takes on Insanity’s finest. He is a very popular fighter, bringing over a legion of fans wherever he fights and part of his popularity is to do with his fight style. He never lets fights go to the judges, and he uses his fantastic boxing ability to overwhelm his opponents. All 14 of his victories are via (T)KO, with 9 of those being clean one hit KO’s. His only weakness may be that he is one dimensional, his opponents know how he fights and how he wins and that is through his punches.. Usually they cannot stop it from happening but a smart opponent with the right skill set could expose this. Saades is primarily a stand up fighter, with excellent kickboxing skills. His kicks are extremely heavy and can leave his opponents limping if they eat too many of his leg kicks. Winning 4 straight fights, 3 of them he finished via (T)KO, and arguably he could still be undefeated if it wasn’t for a controversial decision loss. With no glaring weaknesses in his game, Chu will have a hard time in planning a game plan to beat this man. I think this fight may be closer than many think, Saades has never really faced a man with as much power as Chu, and likewise, Chu has never really faced anyone with the diversity of Saades. In the end I believe it will boil down to the kickboxing of Saades winning this fight for him. Expect this to be a dog fight, with both men have their minds set on violence but I expect Saades to get the edge, ibut i would not be surprised if Pika Chu lands one of his haymakers and takes the win. Prediction: Saades via TKO Cyril Makarenko vs. Nickey "Mad Man" Spillane – 265lbs TITLE FIGHT The co main event is a fight for the heavyweight championship, as the champion Makarenko looks to beat Spillane once again. This fight is the rubber match between these two, with both men holding a win over the other. Makarenko has been with Insanity for a very long time and is now a two time champion. His kickboxing is his main strength, as he often wears opponents down with kicks to the legs and body before throwing his hands to the faces of his foes. During his fights with Spillane, he was the better striker in those fights and in the second fight it was his striking which secured his narrow 48-47 decision win. The first fight with him, Makarenko wasn’t able to land his punches with consistency and Spillane utilised his wrestling to neutrilise Makarenko’s striking game. Throughout his career he has had trouble with high pressure wrestlers, often being taken down in his fights. His ground game Is good enough to avoid most attacks his opponents can throw at him but he is losing points the time he is in the bottom position. Spillane is an anomaly for a heavyweight fighter in that he does not have blinding KO power like most of the men he fights. He likes to use his striking to set up his takedowns, and once he is on top of his opponents they are hard pressed to stand back up as he stays very active with transitions and his ground and pound, forcing his opponents to go into defensive mode. In the only loss of his career, which was against Makarenko, he was able to snatch two rounds by using his wrestling but Makarenko’s striking proved too much and the judges gave him the decision. Spillane, however, does have one victory against his opponent on the 5th of May, and during their first fight he was able to secure numerous takedowns throughout 5 rounds and during the end he was the clear winner. The rubber match I think will not be the end of their feud as both are top of the heap fighters. I see this fight playing out similarly to the first two, with Spillane looking for the takedowns and Makarenko looking for opportunities to end the night early. I do, however, think that Spillane may strike a bit more seeing as though that’s what lost him the first fight but sooner or later he will seek the takedown and that’s why I am choosing Spillane to win, simply because he has more tools at his disposal. Prediction: Spillane via UD Joey Kocur vs. "Infectious" Agustin Trujillo – 205lbs TITLE FIGHT Kocur looks to wash away the defeat from his latest superfight with the 185lbs champion by defending his title against the young Trujillo. Kocur is a bad man. He throws his strikes with bad intentions and with 10 (T)KO wins from 11 overall wins, it’s easy to see why he does it; because it works. His submission game is developing nicely as he recently scored the first submission of his career, meaning his opponents must now fear more than just his strikes. He is mainly a boxer, often throwing a few kicks but he much prefers to punch holes in his opponents. At 23 years of age, he has a tonne of room for development and in each new fight we may see a new wrinkle added to his game. When I say Kocur is young, Trujillo makes him look like an old man. Trujillo is only 21, yet 3 straight impressive victories brought him to a title shot. Primarily a grappler, but he recently scored his first finish via strikes and is no longer the one dimensional grappler he was. His BJJ remains his strongest aspect of his game, but his Muay Thai is becoming something opponents have to watch out for. Trujillo also fights very smart, rarely wasting too much energy on missed strikes, he conserves his stamina for bursts of attack. This fight is between two of the best young stars in Insanity today. I expect Trujillo to mix in takedowns to his gameplan and look for Kocur to try and land his heavy punches. As young as Trujillo is, I don’t think he is quite ready for a fight of Kocur’s calibre just yet and I do think Kocur will prove to be too much for him. Prediction: Kocur via KO Maurício Aurelio vs. Logan Sackett – 155lbs Coming over from the now closed SFC, Aurelio looks to prove his worth to the Insanity management team. In his way stands Logan Sackett, a long time Insanity fighter and certainly no easy outing for Aurelio. Aurelio’s BJJ is very deadly, with 9 submission wins on his record. His boxing is coming along, but he is still prone to being beaten in the stand up so taking fights to the ground remains in his best interest. He has been focusing on his stand up in his more recent fights, but a 1-2 record shows that he is still behind many fighters in his boxing abilities. He may opt to attempt to take this fight to the ground, where he has the distinct advantage. Sackett is an excellent all round fighter, his stand up is particularly good and he uses that to win most of his fights. He is a former 155 Insanity champion, and is 2-1 since losing his belt. He will have to string together a few impressive wins before he finds himself in the line for another shot at gold. He doesn’t particularly have a weakness, but his takedown defence has been the one place where an opponent may seek to gain an advantage. He lost his title due to the wrestling of his opponent, so maybe he has worked extra hard to improve that hole in his game. It will be the striking of Sackett against the grappling of Aurelio. I think that Aurelio will win this fight, 1 takedown is all he needs to lock in a submission and he is a hard man to finish off with strikes. Prediction: Aurelio via submission Maxwell "Vermelho" Rubin vs. Jingle "Jangle" Jingle – 155lbs In what should be a great grappling contest, BJJ black belt Rubin looks to prove his worth against former champion and wrestling expert Jingle. Rubin is an excellent grappler, his 8 wins all of which come from his submission wrestling proficiency prove that on the mat this man is dangerous. His striking is not great, but it serves to keep the opponent from thinking about the takedown. His cardio is off the charts, he is able to keep a great pace throughout the fights, and he is a master of the grinding style that his opponents can’t keep up with. Jingle is a very good stylistic match up for Rubin, as his wrestling and ground game are equal to that of Rubin. He is more a wrestler than a submission artist, and prefers to use ground and pound. Being a former champion, who only recently lost his belt which just goes to show how effective his wrestling is. He only lost his belt due to the fact he couldn’t get the takedown often enough on his opponent, so he can be forced to turn into a punching bag if one can stop his relentless wrestling. As I said earlier, this will be a great grappling contest. The top game of Jingle against the slick BJJ of Rubin will be an interesting chess match. This is most likely the toughest fight of Rubin’s career, going up against a former multiple time title holder. Barring a lucky submission, I don’t see Rubin winning this. Jingle’s wrestling and heavy top control should be enough to secure him the victory. Prediction: Jingle via UD UNDERCARD "The Montana Mangler" Roosevelt Coleman vs. Rude Moogle – 265lbs As befits a heavyweight, both men carry extremely heavy hands and like to use them often. Adding in with kicks, their stand up games are deadly against any HW who stand against them. I think Coleman has the more refined kickboxing and will pick up the W in this fight. Prediction: Coleman via KO William "Caper" King vs. John "Wild Man" Simmons – 265lbs King is a very good wrestler, who knows a thing or two about submissions as well. Simmons is a journeyman fighter, not great by any means but he is serviceable and if anyone underestimates him he can KO them, but he has been KOed many times, and I think King can expose his iffy striking defence. Prediction: King via TKO Blake Bender vs. David "The Judge" Smith – 205lbs Neither man has ever seen a judges scorecard, they either KO their opponents, or get KOed. Bender may have the better boxing but Smith utilises kicks, which have proved to be especially deadly. I think the kicks of Smith will prove to be the difference in this fight. Prediction: Smith via KO Sharky Shark vs. Flex Plexico – 265lbs Again, both are strikers with excellent KO power and they know it so the strikes they throw could decapitate a foal. Shark’s weakness is his defensive grappling, having only ever been submitted and never KOed. Plexico is also hard to finish with strikes but I believe Shark has the more technical stand up and will take this fight. Prediction: Shark via KO Yuki Takano vs. Jason "Jay" Mewes – 145lbs Takano makes his debut here, he is a very durable striking specialist and he faces Mewes. Mewes is a good veteran of the sport, he is well rounded but not great anywhere. I see the younger Takano using his kickboxing to beat the questionable chin of Mewes. Prediction: Takano via TKO Thank you for reading this far, you deserve a cookie. I hope everyone enjoys the event, will we see new title holders by the end of the night? Michael "The Wolf" Brakeley

  4. well he is now is custody Jon Jones was taken into police custody in New Mexico on Monday, hours after the Albuquerque Police Department issued a warrant for the UFC light heavyweight champion’s arrest. “UFC fighter Jon Jones has been booked into Bernalillo County MDC without incident,” APD tweeted Monday evening. Jones, 27, is charged with leaving the scene of a hit-and-run accident which occurred in Albuquerque early Sunday morning. According to the APD arrest warrant, Jones ran a red light and drove a rented Buick SUV into another car, which then collided with a third vehicle. Jones allegedly left his car, ran a short distance away and returned to grab cash from the vehicle before fleeing again. Upon searching Jones’ car, officers found a pipe containing marijuana, according to the police report. An off-duty police officer was present at the scene of the accident and identified Jones. On Monday, it was revealed that the driver of the car with which Jones collided, a woman named Vanessa Sonnenberg, suffered a broken arm in the accident. Under New Mexico state law, this elevates the charge from a misdemeanor to a felony -- “leaving the scene of an accident involving death or personal injuries” -- which carries a maximum penalty of three years in jail, as well as fines. Ultimate Fighting Championship has yet to issue a statement regarding Jones’ arrest or the status of his headlining title bout against Anthony Johnson at UFC 187.

  6. EP23: The Main Card http://oi60.tinypic.com/2yycv87.jpg cat·a·clysm ˈkadəˌklizəm/ noun a large-scale and violent event in the natural world. a sudden violent upheaval, especially in a political or social context. cha·os ˈkāˌäs/Submit noun complete disorder and confusion Destruction, Rebirth, Continuity, The Circle of Life, Chaos, Catacysmic events that destroy the old and shape the new. This is Epicity. Through the destruction of our bodies, the spilling of our blood, the sweat and tears put into these fights. We give life, we give purpose and we produce something special. Something... Epic. Epicity 23 was possibly the most significant event in Epicity history and is a symbol of an org that strives to be different from other ID orgs. We are not just about fair fights and similar ID tags, we are about the future. Our fighters, our champions, our talent... they are all being nursed to be the next top fighters of tomorrow. Through destruction we seek change, we seek progress, we seek to change the landscape and carve our own niche into the world of MMA Tycoon. Yesterday, we covered the events that unfolded in the preliminary card of Cataclysmic Chaos, today we focus on the main show. Boogie Knight(9-5) vs Lars Hagen(10-5-2) To start our main show of the evening I find myself feeling sentimental, I see Boogie Knight(1-2 in Epicity and 1-0 with his current manager), a fighter I used to manager and let go in his attempt to revive his career under the guidance of Freddy Krueger(formerly known as Delish Sellicha) hailing from the rising Bomb Squad alliance. Boogie Knight is a kickboxer with well rounded skills and awesome knock out power. He has won every fight of his career by (t)ko) and enters this fight looking for the tenth finish of his career. Sporting a fancy suit and an afro look that girls melt for, he is surely looking like a future star that Epicity strives to nurture. Then we have his opponent, Lars Hagen making his Epicity debut. Lars is the definition of the well-rounded fighter. He is a MT fighter with a very varied attack and strong clinch game. The long time veteran of Hilo Fight League has joined the Epicity ranks to make a mark on the MMA world and his mark starts with facing kickboxer expect Boogie Knight. Round 1 starts with Hagen immediately taking the fight to the clinch, clearly looking to impose his game plan from the get-go. He manages to land some good shots on Knight but Boogie shows he is no slouch in the clinch either, land uppercuts and knees to the head in this exchange. Boogie breaks the clinch and we are back at distance. Knight is the aggressor and lands shot after shot clearly taking the lead in this round, Hagen lands his own shots but Boogie clearly outscores him and takes round 1. Round 2 starts off with a similar scenario and Hagen gets the fight to the clinch as soon as possible after getting out-struck at distance in the previous round. The ends up being a good move as Hagen outscores Boogie here despite Boogie lands some nice shots of his own, keeping this fight extremely close heading into the halfway point. As they break the clinch and end up back at distance circling around each other it's Hagen this time who takes the lead and out strikes Boogie. His counter game is solid in this round and there is no doubt that Lars wins round 2 and we are dead even heading into the third and final round! Hagen starts off aggressive in round 3 but that quickly stops when Boogie lands a big combination. The entire round is full of back and forth shots from Boogie and Lars with neither fighter backing down. A great finish to the fight but Lars did just enough in that final round to take it on the score cards. The judges agree and it's Lars Hagen who wins his Epicity debut in an impressive back and forth war with Boogie Knight. A disappointing loss for sure for Boogie Knight, he will be angry at himself but he shouldn't be, he gave a hell of a fight and showed his class even in a loss. Lars Hagen moves up in the rankings and Boogie Knight is left wondering what to work on next. Winner: Lars Hagen by Decision Dale "Mac" McCann(15-10) vs Kshitij Singh Negi(17-10) Our second main card fight of the evening shows the return of Epicity veteran Dale McCann(2-1) hailing from the Dogs of War under the management of Frank King. Dale McCann is a decorate boxer with a well rounded set of skills to back his specialty up with. He is returning to action after a failed title bid in which he lost by TKO in the first round against the former champion Dominic Strucio. McCann is no stranger to comebacks however, he has been up and down his entire career and has always come back stronger and meaner and surely this time is no different. He is a veteran of many orgs and is looking to make a statement tonight against a very worth opponent. His opponent is Kshitij Singh Negi, where McCann shines in boxing, it's MT that is Negi's bread and butter, he also backs his specialty up with a solid set of primaries to compliment his Exceptional muy thai game. Like McCann, Negi is a veteran of many orgs. He has fought for Death Squad, RPG and the late Honor FC. What he brings to this fight is some serious KO power with 14 career knock outs to combat McCann's 12. He has the better chin so surely he will look to test McCann's heart and confidence as he brings the heat. Round 1 begins with both fighters swinging for the fences and missing badly. McCann is the first to find his range and sends Negi to the floor with a brilliant timed 1-2 left right combination that puts Negi on queer street. McCann let him up and looks to continue searching for the knock out. Negi gets the fight to clinch and both fighters work to gain the edge. Negi lands an elbow and a knee before McCann gets the fight back to range. They fight in and out of the clinch for the duration of the round but McCann clearly takes this round with a vicious knock down and scoring more points. In round two, Negi starts the period off strong landing a few strikes but an uppercut changes everything as McCann sends him to the floor once again. Negi does everything he can to stay in the fight but another combination puts him back on his ass and McCann lands an amazing Superman Punch to put Negi out for good. An Amazing knock out of the night performance by McCann. Winner: Dale McCann by KO(Superman Punch) Epicity World Light Heavyweight Championship Urho Berserk(9-1)(C) vs Frank "Baldy" Dozer(8-1) Next up we have our first Epicity World title fight of the evening. Urho Berserk defends his title against Epicity veteran and former challenger Frank Dozer who looks for his second attempt at grabbing the gold. Urho Berserk is no stranger to title fights. With a record of 9-1 he has already won two championships and defended one twice. He made his Epicity debut in a champion vs champion bout against former EP Light Heavyweight champion Medium Hardon. In a hard fought effort he took the Majority Decision victory and became are new LHW champion of the world. He brings to the fight his devastating striking game complete with one punch/kick KO power. Surely he will be looking to finish his opponent this time after being visibly disappoint with himself after capturing the title by a hair. Berserk fights for Mr Gutz out of the FinnFighters camp. Frank Dozer is no strange to title fights himself... He fought Berry Bubberman for the inaugural EP LHW championship in a losing effort, losing by tko in the second round. However, he has compiled a 3-1 record in Epicity with his loss to Bubberman being the sole stain on his polished record. A fighter that has spent his entire career with Nick Force, he looks to represent the Force Fight Team by bringing him his taste of gold and redeeming his losing effort against Bubberman. Round 1 begins and both fighters looks to implement their game plan from the distance. Frank Dozer lands a few strikes but it's Berserk that lands the majority of the strikes. They fight back and forth in a technical battle before Berserk graze Dozer with a partial head kick that still has enough power to rock Dozer and suddenly the fight has change. Frank Dozer is rocked and on wobbly legs as Berserk goes in looking for the kill, however a rocked Dozer proves to be a dangerous Dozer as he knocks down Berserk with a vicious head kick! All of sudden all of Berserk's momentum is thrown back at him ten fold and this fight just got interesting! Both fighters are rocked and look to recover for the rest of the round and before we know it the buzzer is already signaling the end of the first round. Both fighters eye each other in the corner and look anxious to get back out there. The refs signal cannot come fact enough and both fighters rush each other as round 2 begins. Dozer immediately lands a power uppercut as the two fighters clash. Beserk scores with some kicks before Dozer switches up the game and takes him down. Dozer looks for submission after submission but gets none of them. Dozer controls him for the rest of the round but in this wacky scoring system, apparently it's Beserk who "dominated" that round. I disagree and say it was pretty even. Round 3 shows both fighters going after each other with determination both scoring strikes and takes strikes and right before the 4 minute mark Dozer lands another takedown. He doesn't do much with it but clearly Dozer takes round 4 in a round full of stand up action. Round 4 is a mirror image of round 4 as both fighters stay at range the entirety of the five minutes and it's Berserk who takes round 4 making this fight extremely interesting going into the final round of this championship bout. Round 5 start and both fighters trade places over and over again, first Dozer is the aggressor and then Beserk takes over the actively. Both fighters are hitting each other with everything they have, throwing anything and everything at their disposable. As the round is coming to an end the crow is readying themselves for the decision but out of nowhere Berserk lands a monster of a head kick and just like that, in a flashing it's Berserk raining down punishment with the ref pulling him off and at the 4:42 mark of round number 5, just 18 seconds before a decision Beserk finishes the fight and retains the Epicity World LHW championship without any hassle from the refs. This has been an AMAZING fight to read and surely a candidate for Epicity's fight of the year, truly a great privilege to read this fight. Great work guys, great work . Winner and STILL the Light Heavyweight Champion of the World: Urho Berserk by TKO Epicity World Welterweight Championship Tyrone Biggums(8-4) vs Lotus Suzinuki(14-6)(c) Our next bout of the evening features the newcomer, current Gamma Contenders Welterweight champion Tyone Biggums challenging our own Lotus Suzinuki in a bout that (in linear theory) unify both titles as the Undisputed Welterweight champion of Epicity. The champion Lotus SNOOZiSNOOKI is one of Epicity's oldest and longest reigning champions behind Lightweight Miller. He has compiled a 3-0 record with Epicity and already defended his title once. He has finished both title fights by knock out and looks to do so against a very tough champion in Tyrone Biggums. Lotus became an internet sensation when call outs of his name started a nickname bonanza of world play. He fights for Steve Unsinn out of the Cold Blooded Killers and under his current management he has NEVER lost a bout. The challenger, Tyrone Biggums is a battle tested veteran of the sport as well. He has fought some tough competition through out his career and enters this bout having also defended his own title once before deciding that Gamma Contenders wasn't the place for him. He realized the ship might be sinking and took off on a light boat toward the rising island known as Epicity. Much like Lotus, he is a well round and extremely skilled grappler who can also strike. He holds a Black Belt in Brazilin Jiu Jitsu and a face only a mother could love. He comes into this match up on a 4 fight win streak under the tutelage of his long time manager Igor Psycho who now resides in Team Conquer, one of the top rated managers in the game. Round 1 begins with both fighters exchanging but it's Lotus that takes the upper hand early in the round. Lotus continues to drill kick after kick crashing into Biggums' legs and body. Biggums recognizes things are not going his way and takes the fight into the clinch, a smart move to be sure. Both fighters are landing shots in the multiple clinch exchanges that come next but Biggums might of stolen the round by landing more in the clinch and keep the fight on the feet. In round 2 Lotus continues his endless barrage of kicks with Biggums seems to be having trouble countering. Biggums once again takes the fight to the clinch but we they are once again evenly match. The remainder of the round remains close but once again as the round close it it Biggums who is ahead on the score cards. Biggums has an intense back and forth with his corner men as they seem to be going over a new game plan for the next round. Biggums comes out focused and plays a good defense for the opening minute, countering Lotus successfully and defending well. He changes the pace by landing a takedown and taking this fight to the ground for the first time. Lotus manages to land a nice sweep and finds himself on top where he stays for the remainder of the round, defending against Tyrone's submission attempts and working on ground n pound. Lotus takes this round no doubt. Once again Biggums gets into it with his corner and comes out in round 4 looking looking even more fired up than before. He is aggressive and active throughout the whole round while Lotus works more technically, picking his shots and defending against Biggums' attacks. Close round but once again Biggums might have picked up another round and might have this fight in the back barring a crazy finish in round 5. Round 5 starts out with both fighters looking for the right shot and staying on the outside, trying to implement their own clashing game plans. Biggums shakes things up and lands a nice flying knee which gets a good pop from the crowd. Biggums is landing uppercuts and head shots while stuffing Lotus' takedowns, surely Lotus has nothing le- OH MY GOD What a vicious head kick landed by Lotus, I can't believe Biggums is still standing but he is refusing to go down. He lands a three punch combo while on wobbly legs which has everyone in the crowd jumping out of their seats in anticipation. Everyone senses a finish and it comes soon enough as a well timed hook to the chin but's Biggums down and Lotus swarms him with more strikes until the ref decides enough is enough. That is it folks. There ya have it. After an impressive performance by Tyrone Biggums it is Lotos SNOOZEnuki who puts the snooze on Tyrone. An impressive way to finish a fight he was surely losing on the score cards. That is two fifth round finishes in a row folks, you don't see that everyday. Both the Light Heavyweight and Welterweight champions retain their titles and in practice Lotus becomes the linear champion of Gamma Jr, whether he wants that title or not. Winner and STILL the Welterweight Champion of the World: Lotus Suzinuki by TKO Troy "Magic" Powers(14-1-1) vs Jerry Seinfeld(10-0) We have finally arrived gents, he were are. The MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING as Bruce Buffer would say. We have the highly touted 25 year old creation who is here to prove that 25 year old build can still kick ass, the 14-1-1 Magic Powers featuring 14 wins with 14 (t)kos. That is an impressive and scary number right there. Troy Powers is a long time veteran of REVO and Death Squad. He became the Death Squad welterweight champion and successfully defended the title once before losing the first bout of his career and his title. He came back with an impressive performance before deciding to change manager teams and now he fights for Gary Coffey of the famed Broken Halo Alliance. His opponent, Jerry Seinfeld whose name is awfully familiar and close to a certain well known comedian who got his own sitcom, a show about nothing... that become a show about something. Fighting for Ryne Woodsmall out of the rising Bomb Squad alliance he spots a perfect and clean 10-0 record and beat a skilled young opponent in his first fight with Epicity. Now he finds himself on the cusp of a title shot and bigger and better things. Now with his third manager, things have finally settled down for this talented kid and he looks to prove himself here tonight in our main event. Round 1 starts and Seinfeld immediately lands a nice right hand that gets the crowd cheering and into the fight. Both fighters seem to be looking for the counter and exchange shots from range, both connecting and landing shots before the fight ends up in the clinch. In the clinch it's all Seinfeld who lands a few shots and Powers tries to pull guard but ends up looking silly. They end up back in the clinch as round 1 comes to an end and Seinfeld clearly takes round 1. Round 2 begins much like the first. Both fighters fight at distance picking their shots but Seinfeld is the more effective striker and despite taking some good shots from Powers is still outscoring him. Jerry takes the fight into the clinch so he can implement his game plan and impose his will on Troy Powers. It seems to work as he begins to open up Troy's defense and land some nice shots in the clinch. Powers finally escapes from this bad spot and gets back to distance. Powers decides he wants this fight on the ground and does so accordingly. It's not enough to sway the judges though as another round is most likely going to be scored in favor of Jerry Seinfeld. At the start of the round 3 Jerry wastes no time getting the fight back to his comfort zone and he gets the fight back to the clinch. He continues to open up Power's defense but Powers changes levels and fights hard for a takedown that he eventually gets. Powers gets to side control but there is not enough action and the ref decides to stand them up despite the dominant position, come on ref you're better than that. They are reset back on the feet and Seinfeld uses his footwork to score shots at will to outpoint Powers in route to winning the final round of the fight. We go to the judges scorecard for decision and all three score it in favor of the winner of our main event with a unanimous decision victory (30-27 on all cards). Jerry Seinfeld wins possibly the biggest fight in his career and a title shot while Troy is visibly upset with himself and will sure go back home to find out what went wrong. Winner: Jerry Seinfeld by Decision There ya have it folks, I may not be Hoarse but I am still here to give you the in and out of what transpired at Cataclysmic Chaos. An awesome event that scored a good rating for us and two title fights that rank among the best fights we have ever had here in Epicity. I must say I am extremely proud to be the owner and founder of this great company. It's you guys, the managers, the fighters, the fans, everyone that keeps me going. You guys are great. This is Dick Hardwood here saying stay strong, stay hard, and wear protection. Good night everyone! http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=831664

  16. Errrrrr, the UK became extremely strict on guns (handguns in particular) after the Dunblane school shooting (about 20 years ago). I own a shotgun, my father owns a shotgun and so does my brother, we all hunt. The conversation in the household at one point steered towards if there was a break in would we use the guns? No, not just simply because by the time we had went into the loft, unlocked the gun locker, assembled and loaded the gun and got down from the loft, i am fairly certain the guy would either of ran away or kicked the shite out of me. That isn't to say we don't have protection in the house in case of an intruder, my brother has a pool cue in his room and i have a set of golf clubs in my room. I am pretty safe in the knowledge that the chances of an armed man breaking into my house is very slim to none, at worst he will have a knife and against two people with a longer reached weapon, i think the gun would swiftly run away rather than take his chances. America has a gun problem, most people will agree with that and sadly it will never change. America is far too far gone with a very large population and a hell of a lot of firearms, even after many school shootings the laws haven't changed, nor will they. It is the one thing the UK can be on its high horse about is the fact an incident like this happened and we put out a solution to fix it (which is the same with most things in the UK). As far as the anarchist guy you debated against, yeah some of them have a romanticized view on the world (a minority of serious anarchists i might add). Most agree that there have to be some enforcement of common laws, and people who enforce them, however they do not believe in a horizontal power structure, which means these police officers would be accountable for their actions which is meant to happen now but it clearly does not. I just thought i should point that out, since i have debated with anarchist groups in the past and not over some random facebook post but highly educated people, some of whom held doctorates in political theory or political philosophy. now you posted something which i think you should retract and very quickly "It's just fucking annoying hearing about race all the fucking time. A mate of mine can't get into a nightclub easily because he has a massive scar on his head. Another mate can't get served because he looks too young and they don't believe his ID. These people didn't choose these afflictions, but is that REALLY a massive thing? No. They may not be in to cause trouble, or they may not be under 18, but if these bouncers have had bad experiences with them then what is so wrong about it?" If you are going to compare police officers to club bouncers then please do not ever post again in any debate topic. I have pointed out in other debates with other people in my seminar group that criminals or those who look like criminals are the people who are discriminated against the most in society. This riled up a few feminists who believed it is females, or gay rights people who believe its gay people, but when i point out that being homosexual or a female doesn't stop you getting a job in Asda (Walmart for Americans) or McDonalds but being a former criminal does their argument tends to fade pretty rapidly. Now i hope Humors never reads this thread, but i am a big advocate that if i was to open a shop or business somewhere i would go out of my way to hire former criminals who had applied for the job. If i hired 10 of them, and 9 burned me, i would still continue to do it because i know at least i helped one person (the odds of that actually happening are slim that 9 people would burn you). Most guys i know who committed crimes and now are out cannot get a job, their benefits get cut, so they have to turn back to crime in order to put food on the table. It is a vicious cycle which until something is done about it, it won't stop.

  20. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w27.jpg "The Thunderbolt" Pika Chu 14-4-0 Our roving reporter once again found Pika Chu in London, with his fight against Octavio Saades coming up this weekend, we decided to learn more about the debutant in Insanity's 185lbs division R: Hey Pika Chu, great to catch up with you again, especially after last time. Now, with not much known about you personally, we found out some rumours, and wanted to ask if you would participate in a quickfire question session? I ask you a question, and you respond with a few words, is that okay? PC: Yes R: Ah, I see what you did there. Anyway, first question. What happened to Ash Ketchum? PC: Got sent home R: Why aren't you with him anymore? PC: He got grounded R: But he is a world renowned person? How can he be grounded? PC: He is still 10 years old R: Ugh, moving away from that. What's your favourite food? PC: Rice with meat R: Who is your favourite musician? PC: Metallica R: Why do you like Metallica? PC: Saw Beck post a lot of their songs somewhere R: Are you going to win your fight this weekend? If so, how will you do it? PC: Yes. I will win by KO within 5 rounds. R: But the fight is 5 rounds long? If you win by KO, of course you win within 5 rounds! PC: Exactly, I can win whenever I want. R: Oh, uh, okay. So what are your plans after your fight with Saades? Who would you like to fight next? PC: Get some food I guess. I haven't been looking past this fight, only a fool would plan for fighting someone other than his current opponent. R: Do you have any last words? PC: Pika Pika Mother fucker *Shortly after this incident, someone threw an object resembling a Poke Ball at Chu's head. Pika Chu promptly got in his car, and ran into the culprits car before walking away from the scene. He returned to his car shortly after to grab some money, and was heard saying "Same Old Shit" as he walked away. Apparently, the police don't care about the crime*

  23. Heavyweight: Travis Browne vs Stipe Miocic - These two are the future of the Heavyweight division once the old guys retire. Light Heavyweight: Daniel Cormier vs Rumble Johnson - For the vacant title anyone??? Don't be surprised if it happens. Middleweight: Vitor Belfort vs Lyoto Machida - A guy that tends to swing with reckless abandon vs a guy you waits for you to be reckless. Welterweight: Carlos Condit vs Robbie Lawler - Two guys that are willing to stand and trade.......yes please. Lightweight: Bobby Green vs Al Iaquinta - Oh the amount of trash talk and bad blood that would happen, priceless. Featherweight: Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway II - Only guy that McGregor hasn't been able to finish so far. Bantamweight: TJ Dillashaw vs Dominick Cruz - What a match this would be if Cruz was fully healed and had no worry about injury. Flyweight: Demitrious Johnson vs John Dodson II - The first one was awesome and this would no doubt be the same. W. Bantamweight: Ronda Rousey vs Cat Zingano II - Still think the fight would have been a good one had the game plan not been terrible. W. Strawweight: Rose Namajunas vs Claudia Gadelha - Two very scrappy fighters who are very unpredictable.

  27. Yea, the org he was signed to was clearly shady. I don't even want to know what sort of exploit he was using but guys don't just make an org, sign their own fighters and go 0-47 in their own org in the span of 6 events for no reason. I don't generally consider guys signing their own fighters to an org to be shady itself but there's clearly something a miss if you find that their fighters are fighting weak opponents and their records are nice and fluffed or he's doing something like this and likely using some game breaking flaw in the coding. A word of advise is look at the org owners(or the matchmaker) account before signing to see if they sign their own fighters and if they do look at some recent opponents to see if they treat them differently then others, it's not the end all but it's a start to gauge how legitimate the owner is depending if it throws up and red flags.

  31. RECRUITMENT ROUND UP BANTAMWEIGHT Tom Noisy (8-2) Australia's Tom Noisy has a very impressive record which he build through runs in the independents before signing with REZDOG. With 4 wins by Submission and another 4 by Decision, it's clear to see that Noisy likes to maintain full control of a fight, waiting for his opponent to leave an opening which he can exploit. He follows a previous foe, Xavier Llorent, to Highland Games after Xavier joined earlier in the month. Noisy will be looking to avenge the submission loss if the opportunity ever presents itself, and until then he'll be fully focused on whoever his first challenge will be. Tatsuzo Fukuda (5-0) Fukuda was formerly managed by Boss Matsumoto, who currently managed 4 more fights, 3 of which being in Highland Games now. Fukuda slipped through the cracks and mutually split from Matusmodo, then signing with Highland Games owner Callum McGregor. Now the undefeated prospect joins us, bringing with him an extensive all round game. Untested in his career, it's going to be interesting to see how the management change it going to effect his strategy. He's currently scheduled to fight Claudius Calaeabius at Highland Games 75. Tyreese Thomson (3-0) Thomson is part of a trio of fighters promoted by Leandro Oliveira dos Santos to recently sign to the org. Tyreese is a little heavy for the weight class currently so he'll have to make the relevant adjustments in his diet and training to be on weight, but with three straight first round stoppages and a minor league Featherweight Championship in Kings of Vale Tudo, he's certainly one to watch out for as he gains some more experience throughout his career. Yukiteru Miyamoto (2-0) Like Tyreese, Miyamoto is slightly over weight but not alarmingly. Both of his fights have taken place at Featherweight, both ended in rapid first round kimuras. Whenever I see a fighter with an ability like this, or a specialist move, I get excited every time I see the opportunity present itself in the fights. Will his kimura defeat all? Is it something he's going to dominate with or fall under? It's always an interesting aspect of a fighter's game to watch and we'll all be looking closely. LIGHTWEIGHT Bernardo Goncalves (3-0) Managed by the same man as Miyamoto, Bernardo brings a more controlled approach to the table. He likes to keep top position, drop some punches, but never take any chances. If a fighter doesn't have the ground acumen to be able to buck Bernardo off or tie him up, he'll likely control the entire fight from the top position or maybe even secure a GnP finish. Rama Udo (7-1) What a signing this is. Rama, a Choke former Hall of Famer, former Lightweight and Welterweight Champion, and all round incredible kickboxer. It's a shame Hideki Higkiko retired because that would have been an incredible Asian kickboxing contest. None the less, Rama is coming off of his first loss and that will have only sharpened up his his elite kickboxing skills. He'll be hitting the gym harder than ever and I know he's excited about starting this new chapter of his career. Javier Sanchez (5-1) Despite being nothing more than a BJJ Blue Belt, Javier Sanchez proves that belts mean nothing unless they are solid gold. Sanchez has submitted 5 of his 6 opponents, doing so with variations of his nasty armlocks. If you're trying to take on this Mexican warrior, you have to be prepared to be out wrestled with your upper lumbs being placed in serious jeopardy. Tom Hebster (3-0) Like his training partner Tyreese Thompson, Hebster comes to us as a former KVT champion. While this is hardly as impressive as being a Choke Champion for example, it still shows us that Tom isn't phased when the big lights are on. He enters the cage off the back of an impressive 30 minute fight where both him and his opponent demonstrated endless rations of cardio and Tom wants to show everyone what conditioning really is when he steps into the HG cage. Warren Parker (7-2) Another free agent scooped up by Callum McGregor, Parker has competed in both ECFC and CEFC, two reputable organisations. Now he's probably stepping into the most dangerous place for a fighter of his standing; the Highland Games Lightweight division, and the level of competition just skyrocketed. While Parker can do it all, he favours the submission game, something he plans to use when he takes on the next man on this list at HG 75. Taisto Anttila (6-0) Of everyone we have signed on this list, I think former Choke Featherweight and Welterweight Champion Taisto is really the biggest announcement. Despite being capable of making Bantamweight very easily, Taitso has opted to compete at Lightweight. While this seems strange, he's fresh off of a stoppage win against Rama Udo at Welterweight, so he's used to fighting higher than his natural weight class. Taisto Anttila's submission game is absolutely incredible, defeating all 6 foes in the very first round, racking up an unthinkable 5 Submission of the Night bonuses along the way. He enters as the favourite, but his impending fight against Warren Parker won't be easy for the Finn fighter. Thomas Almeida (5-4) Once a top prospect, Almeida is 0-3 in his recent run. Some may question why a fighter like this has been signed to Highland Games, but I feel that you have to look at the heavily shady booking made by his former promotion UFF. Almeida joined the org at 5-1 and was forced to fight Chip Freedom (27-31-3), Vrando Vraganza (15-12) and Bernardo Bernardo (13-9). Now that he's in a fair fights org, we'll see if he can live up to the expectations that his early career had projected. Joe Hogan (8-1) Hogan made an impact early in his career, quickly capturing the Vanquish Combat Club Welterweight championship. After one successful defence of the belt, Joe was defeated after an absolute war with Liyak Rhust. The fight went down to the wire after 5 rounds, but unfortunately the judges sided with Rhust. Looking to change things up, Hogan joins us in Highland Games in the attempt of recreating his championship winning success. Guillermo Diaz (5-1) Diaz stepped into his professional debut cold, losing in just 44 seconds at the hands of Jimmy Sphinx. Some fighters let losses get them down, but the Mexican has won 5 straight since then, impressing the entire mixed martial arts world with his improvements in jiu jitsu. He'll next take on Philip Peralta at HG 75 where we will see if he can make it 6 in a row. MIDDLEWEIGHT Lapu Gatmaitan (3-1) A master of the Rear Naked Choke, Lapu Gatmaitan has shown some extremely capable grappling skills throughout his career to this point. Although an early knockout loss will surely continue to haunt him, we've seen how good he is at controlling positions. He currently has an independent fight to live out and reports are saying that he is quite out of shape so we're going to have to see how that plays out. Terakado Tessai (5-1) Another of Boss Matsumoto's Japanese prodigies, Tessai has looked stellar since the second he stepped foot into the cage. His one loss is controversial as it appeared that he landed the more effective strikes, but outside of that off night he's been able to destroy 5 different men within the first 5 minutes of the fights. He has a huge fight ahead of him against Jon Askren and it's expected that the winner will be heavily touted as the first great next gen fighter of the organisation. Joe Kosek (2-0) Although we haven't seen much from Chicago's own Joe Kosek, what we have seen is that he is a tad unsure about who he wants to be as a fighter. He appears to have the power to stop a fight at any moment, seen from his 5 second obliteration of Saint Jan. In his debut however, he decided to wrestle with a weak striker and superior jiu jitsu practitioner. Perhaps he's just confident all round, but this isn't something he's going to want to do against some more capable practitioners. Then again, if it works for Arnavut Sevket, it might work for Joe. LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Timothy Simpson (4-1) Simpson, or "Takedown" as his moniker states, is an extremely high level wrestler who has been impressing his wrestling coaches for a few months now. He likes to take the fight down instantly and reign down shots to beat opponents into submission. We've seen him be a little desperate when he can't secure it, throwing wild combinations with little success, but if you can't keep it up; you're going down. Rocky Balboa (7-1) Another huge signing for us here. Rocky has bounced around managers thus far in his career, but it hasn't held him back one bit. He is a former G-Co Light Heavyweight Champion and defended the title once. What we've seen from Balboa in his near-perfect career is that he brings some seriously dangerous striking, both inside and outside the clinch. He'll take on Chocolate Mousse at HG 76 which is sure to be a good first test in his Highland Games career. Roan Jenkinson (3-0) Yet another successful KVT fighter who scored three straight knockouts before the second minute. With scary boxing like that, we can expect opponents to avoid exchanging strikes with the Brazilian and go for a more strategic approach to tackling him. In a straight shoot out, I don't fancy any inexperienced fighter to walk out with a victory over Jenkinson. Mairbek Krylov (7-2) I'm proud to welcome back a familiar face to Highland Games. Vodka Rage Mairbek Krylov fought for his before the end of the season, now only winning two fights in the org but also taking a decision victory over Ludko Struja, one of the division's top contenders, along the way. For some reason, he opted against entering the tournament and instead headed to Choke after the season. After a first round TKO, he dropped a fight to Chris Lancier, a highly touted prospect. Krylov wants to continue what he started, taking the Highland Games 205 title he was once enroute to. HEAVYWEIGHT Jose Gatmaitman (3-0) Brother of Lupa, Jose Gatmaitman joins us with his undefeated streak fully in tact. He's a striker through and through, content to stand in the pocket and look for an early knockout whenever the opportunity presents itself. He's a big heavyweight and that will certainly factor into how heavy his hands are. He may lack cardio late in the fight, but opponents will have to take it there first. Nobukiri Nakajima (3-1) Nakajima entered a recent independent tournament and was looking like he could walk away with the whole thing. Unfortunately for the Asian prospect, he was halted in the final by Boris Tumenov. In the three fights beforehand, we saw him demonstrate a strong wrestling base and the power to cause opponents a lot of trouble. It will be good to see if he can bounce back confidently from the loss, but we are yet to see him step into the cage since he submitted to strikes.

  33. Beside energy, verry important in the clinch is your fighters skills: Clinchwork, wrestling, strenght (mostly strenght) For example: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=740403 It's 50 times more then my fighters tried to connect. And I set the sliders to 0% stall and 50/50 on the agressive/counter slide Since it wasn't met for that tournament I went and put max for 1 or 2 basic skill and I didn't have wrestling at a good level, and also my strenght was 1. Therefor I don't blame the engine, as the other fighter could easily controll my fighter and he drained quick my energy with body punches

  43. It's pretty clear that if you are rioting in Ferguson or Baltimore (because you're racist and don't riot when white people get killed) then maybe you shouldn't start violence. In Ferguson black people robbed shops owned by black people. They act like thugs, they get called thugs. Oh, what? Is the big problem that a very select few are thugs, while the rest are acting peacefully? Imagine that happened and you were being sterotyped as violent due to the actions of people around you. Good thing all those racist murderous cbomb white people werent around eh? What I hear in his own words is that medical schools discriminate against Asians, Hispanic and white people in favour of black people. So we're focusing on the racism against black people in his comments and not the favouring and racial favouring? Also, okay, it's bullshit that he got racially discriminated against. Stick a white kid in there dressed like Eminem or the dude from Malibu's Most Wanted. Guarantee they face the same problems. Sure, a black person isn't choosing to face these issues where as your clothing or actions are your choice, but should people change their appearance based on discrimination against it? Should a biker remove his tattoos and beard to rid himself of that stigma? No, people are like that. People have their own preconceived notions towards things. For example, look up any article about white people on BlackPlanet and read about how white people "Have nothing in common with them" "Have different priorities to them" "Dont understand discrimination". It's just fucking annoying hearing about race all the fucking time. A mate of mine can't get into a nightclub easily because he has a massive scar on his head. Another mate can't get served because he looks too young and they don't believe his ID. These people didn't choose these afflictions, but is that REALLY a massive thing? No. They may not be in to cause trouble, or they may not be under 18, but if these bouncers have had bad experiences with them then what is so wrong about it?

  49. The only thing I'm guilty of is losing fights intentionally. Everyone who ever beat me, got paid a signing bonus, plus their show and win money for each fight. If you want to call that screwing over new managers, go for it. Below, you will find proof that it is a bug and not an exploit. All of these fights, took place within the month of April, and resulted in both managers gaining hype. I only looked at QFCs, none of these fights took place in an org. ALL FROM THIS MONTH ALONE! http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=743944 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=743829 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=743792
