Coming to you is the Tycoon worlds greatest one man show Mentor and i present to you edition #39 of the world famous GAMMA Gossip!

***General news***

- The proposed events between Syn vs GAMMA posted here:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38295

Has been put into some jeopardy. Main debating point is where the first event will take place and how many fighters will need to be involved. Negotiations are still open though if the opposition can be more reasonable in their terms.

- GAMMA has revised their contract policy. Due to the fact that we now have the GAMMA: Battleground!, fighters can move up and down to the other organization depending on their results in the cage. The problem with this is that if a sign on fee is included and the fighter rejects to resign, we lose the sign on fee. Last week around 7-8 such fighters rejected the "relegation" which cost GAMMA millions worth in money paid out. We have decided that the sign on fees will simply be included into the base pay, this way a fighter cannot simply "run away" with the sign on bonus.

On a side note, this past weekend was also the first event for the Battleground! The event was a huge success with a rating of 166+.

- This weekend will be the very last time GAMMA holds an event in Las Vegas after over 4 1/2 years. Vegas will always hold an important place for GAMMA and our fighters. We will not relocate our organization base. Around 50% of our roster is still based in Vegas, however as of now all events will be held in LA and London (the later being our more common destination).

- Balthasar Oosteroom is fighting Marco Maganin. On paper this seems to be just another low ranking GAMMA fight, however what makes this fight interesting is that Marco is not only Manager less, he is also Retired! Blathasar said prior to this weekends weight in that if he lost this fight he would also retire from the sport.

***Weekend Reviews***

Drazen Kadoic v Jia O Connor (Top level GAMMA fight)

Drazen Kadoic was the favorite, but nobody saw his as the Superman…….he surprised everyone though when he pulled out of his sleeve the superman punch to end the fight nice and early in round 1. Drazen is now in line for a 205lbs title fight, Jia will need to rethink his strategy in the next one as this was his first loss in 12 fight.

Degen Gambler v Gegard Mousasi (Top level GAMMA fight)

I had Degen as the favorite for this fight. However Gegard did surprise me. Gegard has been a top level talent for a while now. Most of his career it has been in a top level org after previously fighting in Ascension. He needed a big win though after previously getting one against ex champ John Galt. This was probably what he was looking for and this puts him in close contention for the title fight. Degen has always had that small chance of a KO loss and against Gegard he did not get past the 2nd round after being dominated early in the 1st.

Arthur Curry v Billy "The Kid" Paxton (Top level GAMMA fight)

Arthur was the favorite and he showed why in this fight against newcomer Billy Paxton. It took Arthur just 40 seconds to get his second win in a row. He is now in line for a title fight next, if he can get past Usain Watts. For Billy i do not think there was any shame in this loss. The competition in GAMMA is fierce and this was his first real test in a top level org.

- Sponsoring our fight of the night awards is Fury Nutrition Inc. based in Montreal. They will be offering

***Key upcoming fights + Predictions***

Ba Lil III v Peter Cabreros (GAMMA Co-main event)

It is a proud day for GAMMA and for the general community because as of today, one of the world leaders of the org business, Steel Penn - Hilo, becomes an official member of the Global Elite Group (GEG).

GAMMA has always been famous for being one of the beacons and homes of top level super fights and over our history we have arranged well over 100 of them against other top level competition worldwide and In July 2013, GAMMA became one of the founding members together with Versus in London and TTFC in New York to form the Global Elite Group (GEG). A little later Cage Wars - Hilo and Aggressive Damage of Montreal also became members, expanding the group to 5 members.

The main goal of the group is to give each organization part of the group more options for fighters ranked inside the top 1000 p4p by fighting top competition in the other orgs participating in the group. The orgs participating in the group give top priority to the group's members when planning their super fight schedules.

To become a member of the GEG group, an org needs to have a strong reputation, deep roster and significant history to become a member. Admission is only done with the consent of the other existing members.

Steel Penn has a fantastic record in the Tycoon community with one of the deepest rosters in the game. They are a consistent top 10 organization and are backed by one of the best and most organized alliances, Steel Penn. We as a group have always had good communication with Steel Penn - Hilo, so making this relationship official was a great pleasure and a proud day for GEG.

At the moment around 20% of all the top 1000 p4p fighters are contracted to one of the GEG organizations, which goes to show what type of talent pool this group now has. No single organization in this game has anywhere near that level of talent, so being part of a GEG org, basically means you will always have plenty of options in terms of the best fights.

***General news***

- This week GAMMA bid fairwell to Las Vegas in the Wandalay Bay with a 400+ rating PPV headlined by current 205lbs champ Adis Djurdjevic. As of this week our events will be held in LA and London.

- Balthasar Oosteroom beat Marco Maganin in their "loser retires fight". Marco has now officially retired, where as Balthasar has moved down to the GAMMA: Battleground to continue his development.

- Syn rejected the annual events with GAMMA after GAMMA had already positively reacted to their proposal. Apparently they had some "72 hour deadline" to their offer which nobody knew about. Inside informants say that they simply wanted to prolong their fighters careers due to the obvious beating they were likely going to receive.

- Big news is that now the GEG group has been expanded to include the Steel Penn - Hilo. This increases the Super fight options with another 40ish top 1000 p4p fighters.

***Recent key (Top 1000 p4p) signings***

- Cole River is one of the biggest talent in MMA today. Just 25y of age and already ranked p4p 61. Managed by one of the best managers of the Legion of Pain alliance, Joe River. This is one of his best up and coming talents, which says a lot for the top 100 ranked manager. This will be a serious up in competition though for Cole after mainly fighting in the lower leagues so far. He will fight in the 170lbs division.

- Roger Dunowevil current top 300 p4p, highest ranking was top 202 p4p. Roger is a top level fighter, part of the LOP alliance. He is an ex-UPG champion and HERIOC veteran. Just joined our 205lbs division which is one of the deepest in the world.

- Marshall Noir is a top 500 p4p fighter, highest ranking p4p 165. Marshall is managed by Whymer Van Mastodon, who also took Kenichi all the way to the 265lbs title. Part of the famous DILLIGAF alliance. Marshall is a former Maple Leaf Combat champion before it folded and spent his recent fights in UPG Vegas. Marshall has already stated he has his eye firmly focused on Renan St Juste's 170lbs title.

- Richard Hickock is a top 700 p4p fighter managed by one of the best managers in the game Captain Lou, which back in the day took his other fighter, Karl Denke to the top of the 185lbs rankings in GAMMA to win the title. Now he is back again in the 185lbs division, this time with 28y old Hickock. Hickock is a Evolution, UPG and Empire veteran which gives his 20-10 record a lot more respect. Lets see what he can do at our packed 185lbs division.

***Weekend Reviews***

Ba Lil III v Peter Cabreros (GAMMA Co-main event)
Prediction: Ba Lil III was 65% slight favorite

Ba was my favorite going into this fight. Both fighters wanted to keep this one standing. Peter was the more accurate of the two overall though and all judges had him winning the first round, however it was the 2nd round which was in question, with 2 judges having it a draw, and Alan Glass having it in favor for Ba.

The final round though, Ba took Peter down and kept the fight there to win the round, ending in a Majority Draw. Ba felt he won this fight and celebrated at the final bell, but the judges had other views. Both fighters wanted a rematch, but it has already decided that Ba will be fighting Karl De Groot for the title.

A win for Ba and Peter could setup a great rematch, this time in a title fight.

Adis Djurdjevic v Samor Kanen (Versus Super fight in GAMMA)
Prediction: Adis 65% slight favorite

What was suppose to be a legendary first win for Adis on the super fight circuit ended in a spectacular KO loss, early in the first round. This was the first KO loss for Adis since his loss against Degen Gambler 7 fights ago. Adis will now need to return to the drawing board, in a title fight against impressive newcomer Drazen Kadoic.

- Sponsoring our fight of the night awards is Fury Nutrition Inc. based in Montreal. They will be offering

"If you want to give your fighters the fighting edge they need then give them the FURY! We turn modest athletes into cage killers!"

"Right now try our amazing energy reduction supplement Fury Energizer 160Q at the amazing price of $140.00 for 14 days supply. Visit the Fury store and stock up!!!"

http://www.mmatycoon.com/nutritionpublic.php?ncid=3767

The following fighters gained 2 Free Fury Energizer 160Q for their Fight of the night performances:

Fight of the night: Antonio Carlos Ferreira vs Sellus Gravius
KO of the night: Jt Colossus

***Key upcoming fights (between 2 1000 p4p fighters) + Predictions***

John Galt v Malietoa "Mauga mu" Feti
Prediction: John Galt 60% very slight favorite

Fidel Duberry v Arvydas Sabonis (265+ Top contender fight)
Prediction: Fidel 65% slight favorite

Fred Ettish v Nero Aurelius (Steel Penn Super fight)
Prediction: Nero 65% slight favorite

Renan St Juste Dirk Zeldenthuis (Versus Super fight in GAMMA)
Prediction: Renan 80% big favorite

Its been a while, but GAMMA Gossip is back! Your host as always? Yeah, it is the scandalous one man show Mentor with Edition #42 of the GAMMA Gossip!

As of next month, the Gossip will be run just once per month. The reason for this is that we will have a totally new writer which will be doing weekly reviews and interviews of our events. The Gossip will be more of a "round up" of what happened during the month. So we are not going offline, we are just changing strategy a bit.

***General News****

Significant Signings:

Stanley Burrell is a UPG title contender, managed by Convicted Inc Dean Sutherland. Currently ranked #372 worldwide. Dean previously managed Danzan Kuduro to the 185lbs title and has big ambitions to do the same with Stanley at 170lbs.

Duncan McAlister is the current Ultimate Pit Fighting 265 champion and ranked p4p at 596. He is well managed by one of LOD's top managers Alika Webb and should be a force at 265+ or 265lbs.

***Promoted from GAMMA: Battleground****

Yrjo Jarvinen (48334)
Adolf Ellenberger (184810)
Riley Marshall (151828)
Thurgood Jenkins (155699)
Rashad Evans (89919)
Bill Belton (113628)
Bobby McBobby (80477)
Jaws Talltree (124225)
Ferdinando Ferrari (104173)

**Key fight Reviews***

Keith Green v Nero Aurelius (Steel Pen Super fight)

Keith recently lost his title to Josep Ruzic and was desperate to regain his form which made him famous. He was up against the Steel Penn champion Nero Aurelius in this one. Ironically this would be Nero's last fight under his manager Gritty Smitty of the LOD alliance. Nero had already beaten 2 GAMMA legends in Raz Matazz and Fred Ettish and was looking to make it 3 in a row to complete his "revenge" run over GAMMA fighters. Nero was previously a GAMMA fighter and had lost to all 3 fighters, this fight against Keith was suppose to be the last of that run. Keith spoiled his run to earn GAMMA just their 1st win over Steel Penn and 10-9-1 overall in GEG super fights. Keith is expected to be back in GAMMA soon for either a title fight or a top level top contenders fight.

Karl De Groot v Ba Lil III (155lbs title fight)

Karl was back after a loss to Mikael Johansson to defend his 155lbs title belt against top contender Ba Lil III. It was no surprise that Karl was going to do what he always does, which is to grind out another win. All judges scored the fight 40: 46 in favor of Karl, but if it was any consolation to Ba, he did win the last round and seemed to be pushing the pace in that last round. In the end though it was Karl's faster pace and better Muay Thai which won him this fight. Karl is now in Steel Penn getting ready for his super fight against the local champion.

Renan St Juste v Cole River (170lbs title fight)

Renan has been on a bit of a slump after starting the year on fire, losing 2 in a row. His opponent was up comer and newcomer to GAMMA Cole River of the LOP alliance. Maybe this fight was a little too early for Cole, but in the end it was a lot closer than the critics expected. 48:47 win for Renan, but Cole was impressive at various stages of this fight. The fight was a classic 100% rating and expect to see these 2 in a rematch at some point or other. Renan is defending his title on the 30th of November against Filo Bedo.

Adis Djurdjevic v Drazen Kadoic (205lbs title fight)

Adis was back in GAMMA to defend his title after a devastating loss to Samor Kanen. Adis barely won this fight 48:47 over 5 rounds. Kadoic piled on the pressure early on winning 2 of the first 3 rounds, but seemed to gas out into the championship rounds. He eventually lost the fight by the least possible difference and is probably very dissapointed with the outcome. Adis will be defending his title against upcomer Mousasi this weekend.

Kenichi Shirahama v Dean Martin (265lbs title fight)

Kenichi was the massive favorite for this fight and proved in the cage why. It took him just over 3 minutes to submit one of the better wrestlers in the sport Dean Martin. Dean was a last minute candidate for this title fight and did what he could against one of the best BJJ heavyweights in the world. Kenichi will be flying to Montreal soon to fight in a top profile fight against the winner of the Aggressive damage title fight.

Simon Williams v Arvydas Sabonis (265+ title fight)

Arvydas is a well traveled international veteran after fighting in Evolution, IMMA and NFC. This fight against Simon Williams was probably one of his biggest profile fights though. Both fighters like to finish fights and both came in hard. It was no surprise this fight ended within the first round in a TKO victory for Simon Williams. Simon is currently in contract negotiations and is expected to make his debut outside GAMMA in a super fight against GEG newcomer Claymore Elite in Helsinki.

GAMMA is proud to announce 2 new Hall of Fame inductions.

With the 3rd most events held in history, with over 4 years consistently in the top 20 among organizations, it is no surprise that GAMMA has had some of the top fighters in the game. Today we honor 2 of those which have retired probably at their prime.

Keith Green (129720) 17 total GAMMA fights. Myltiple defending champion at 185lbs, prevailing at a time when the 185lbs division was probably at its deepest including fighters such as Raz Matazz, Tank The Razors Edge, Doc Thomas, Fred Ettish, Usain Watts among others. Briefly lost his title to Frank Sinatra to regain it in the next fight. His last fight was a super fight win over Nero Aurelius. He never got his dream of fighting Igor Glozman, a fighter which gave him an early loss due to Igor retiring due to failed chin late in his career. Retired while ranking inside the top 100 p4p due to manager issues at just 29y of age.

Fidel Duberry (125586) 22 total fights for GAMMA including super fights and our contenders org. Was with us since 2012-02-11 till 2013-11-23 faced some of the biggest names in the sport, here are just some of his to 100 p4p opponents: Kyle Carlton, Anton Chigurh, Simon Williams, Maksimilian Tchepikov, Buster Grimes, Donzel Fortunado, Kenichi Shirahama, Ben Grimm and the list goes on. He is a 3 time defending GAMMA 265lbs champion, ranked inside the top 100 p4p. Retired very early (30y) mainly due to his manager taking a hiatus from the game. An all time GAMMA legend.

Note: Although we have had 2 pre-retirement inductions to our HOF (Raz Matazz and Jack Burton), all previous inductions have happened only after the fighter was officially retired from the game.

GAMMA is proud to announce the 5th GAMMA fighter of the year candidates! GAMMA has a huge and storied tradition in the MMA scene with some of the biggest names fighting for us over the years. The previous winners of this award include:

Fighter of the Year 2009: Mikhail Yudovich
Fighter of the Year 2010: Raz Matazz
Fighter of the Year 2011: Jeremy Tonal
Fighter of the Year 2012: Anton Chigurh

The top 5 candidates for 2013 are as follows (in random order):

Simon Williams (58148) 6-2-1
Renan St Juste (102580) 12-2-0
Keith Green (129720) 10-3-0
Usain Watts (16107) 9-4-0
Adis Djurdjevic (138400) 9-4-1

Karl De Groot, Kenichi Shirahama, Raz Matazz, Danny Mangold, Peter Cabreros all had a spectacular year as well and are most certainly worth a mention.

Candidates are rated upon the following criteria:

-Total fights (as a GAMMA fighter)
-Total wins
-Difficulty of fights / level of competition
-Titles + title defenses.
-Highest p4p ranking during the year

It is not impossible that someone outside of the top 5 candidates be promoted, however it is highly unlikely that we will see major surprises considering we only have December left.

At the moment it is extremely close and the results of the last 4 events will decide everything.

Welcome back!

As you already may know, GAMMA has been arranging the flights to the GAMMA events from Las Vegas to LA / London since September time.

Around 40-50% of our fighters are still based in Vegas since our times when we was based there and ran our events in the MMA Grand Arena. However there is a large contingent based outside of Las Vegas.

Now I would like to provide an extra service to our fighters. I now have 5 gyms in Las Vegas mostly run for my LOD alliance, however they are funded by GAMMA.

All these gyms have a cap of 30 fighters maximum (most are below that cap). All have 12 or more Elite/Triple Elite coaches, with vending and in top condition.

If you do not want to hassle with traveling to events, simply relocate to Las Vegas and contact me for a gym invite. I will organize the traveling every week for you.

Note: This is a limited offer to GAMMA fighters only. Contact me soon as there are limited places.

I would like to say...............Happy New year to all our managers, business associates at GEG and even to our competition (you know who you are).

Most of all i would like to thank Mike for his great work with MMA Tycoon. As a game owner myself, i know how hard it is to create a top level text based game and keep the members happy.

So once again It has been a very eventful 2013. GAMMA's one man show continued for yet another year. While most orgs in the game are changing owners like they change their underwear and have about 10 people working for them, it is not always easy to compete, but we grinded it out.

A lot of our success obviously goes to our managers and fighters. In fact i would like to give all the credit to them. They often approved lower level contracts to stay with GAMMA. In fact over the 4 1/2 years of our existence, we only once lost a GAMMA champion and i am happy me and that fighters owner are on good terms now with him back in GAMMA, hopefully for another good run at the title.

I would say that 3 major developments occurred in 2013.

#1 Was the creation of the Global Elite Group (GEG). Unlike what many people think. GEG was a survival plan. When our competition announced their "super bully group" (link can be provided) they shut the door on the international super fight scene and first to lose out was of course GAMMA which always relied on super fights to keep the org interesting.

GEG's main goal was to provide a platform for "the other" top level orgs to compete in super fights. The group now includes CEC, Versus, TTFC, CW Hilo, AD Montreal and GAMMA and i am very very happy with the progress and general communication in the group. Most of all though i am happy that all of the GEG orgs are still very active and have improved their roster depth during this period.

#2 Was the creation of my own alliance Legion of Doom (LOD). I always avoided alliances. I wanted to keep GAMMA as neutral as possible for as long as possible. However fact is, most top level orgs are supported, usually directly by their alliance. GAMMA never had anyone and that put us at a disadvantage when looking for top level talent as most of the FA's stayed loyal to their alliance orgs and i understand why they would do that. My goal with LOD was to help younger managers get involved in the game and if they picked GAMMA in the future, then great. It will at least put us on even terms with our competition.

#3 2013 was the year when GAMMA finally went global. Many can argue that GAMMA is not at the level of the top 3-4 orgs, but at the start of the year we was a borderline top 10-15 org most of the time. This was the year we went global, doubled our top 1000 p4p talent and started running PPV level events every week. Which basically means we can compete financially with the best orgs out there.

Overall though, i would like to say that i am very very happy with out progress over 2013. We got to where we are through the front door and that is always very tough. Doing it the hard way through communication, careful booking, hyper activity and organization was always the tough root to take, especially if you consider that i lack the time to idle the chat channels.

Most of the top level orgs are there simply because they "out muscled" their way to their top, usually merging a few orgs on their way or using their cash to gain position, so doing it the way we have is a massive achievement.

Once again, thanks to everyone for their contribution and have a happy holiday period!

I am back from my holiday now and i am very proud to announce the top 3 GAMMA fighters for the 2013 year!

#3 Keith Green (129720) 10-3-0 record in GAMMA for 2013

Keith had a dominating year. He joined GAMMA in 2012 and went on 5 fight winning streak on root to beating Raz Matazz for the 185lbs title. He then beat the best on the 185lbs division including top level fighters like Fred Ettish (2x), Usain Watts. He had a small slip up with Frank Sinatra, losing a late submission, but regained the title almost immediately after. Towards the end of the year he had a slump in form, losing 2 of his last 3 fights before retiring early December at just 29y of age. He was inducted to the GAMMA HOF soon after.

#2 Simon Williams (58148) 8-2-1 record in GAMMA for 2013

Simon returned to action after a hiatus and decided to join the GAMMA heavyweight division, which was packed with big names such as Fidel Dubbery and Buster Grimes at the time. Simon went on a fantastic run, KOing everyone in his way on root for the title. He had a disappointing super fight loss against Arnie Ironz, but was back on form from then on. He had a great rivalry against Kenichi Shirahama which ended 1-1-1. Their rivalry will be concluded in January 2014. He ended the year on a 5 fight winning streak and 265+ champion.

#1 Renan St Juste (102580) 14-2-0 record in GAMMA for 2013

Renan is without too much doubt the GAMMA fighter of the year and a hot favorite for 170lbs fighter of the game. Renan went on one of the longest winning streaks which lasted for 11 fights from November 2012 until September 2013! He was the underdog in a lot of those fights and was crowned #1 p4p fighter of the game after beating Evolution/Empire champion Sativa Sensei in impressive fashion. Renan had a short slip up, losing 2 close decisions, but is back on form again with 3 wins towards the end of the year. Renan deserves the GAMMA 2013 fighter of the year.

Jan. 19th, 2014 from the LA Memorial Colossuseum
Sponsored by Affordable Quality

Good evening folks. I am Smash Mathers, your host as we break down the top fights of Sunday night's GAMMA#369. As always, brought to you by Affordable Quality, the official nutrition of the GAMMA. Without further ado, let's get right into it!

170 lbs. Bout: (#6)Rick James (15-7-1) vs. (#8)Filo Bedo (19-11-1)

With his last five wins coming by way of T/KO, "Cocaine is a Hullava Drug" Rick James has been making moves in the 170 lbs division. Stuffing Alan Bundy with a flurry of head kicks, followed by a brutal show of clinch knees which ended the bout with Vladik Fedetov in just the first round! Coming up short in his title shot against Renan St Juste knocked him down, but not out, as this world-class Muay Thai specialist looks to redeem himself and remain in the title contention picture.

An Olympic level wrestler, Filo Bedo uses quick footwork, as-well as world-class Muay Thai skill to keep his fights standing. After his two close decision victories over Vladik Fedetov and Marshall Noir, he would earn himself a shot at Championship gold. In a brilliantly fashioned war against Renan St Juste, he would lose by decision. He bounces back this weekend, looking to prove himself worthy of another shot.

155 lbs Bout: (#6)Larry David (18-7) vs (#2) Sick Puppy (16-7-1)

Coming off of landslide decision victories over Timo Kotipelto and Gordon Freeman, followed by a late KO over Furio Falcone, "The Raging Jew" Larry David is stringing together an impressive winning streak. His style of takedown defense and elite-level striking has proven to be very effective inside the octogon. Can he pull off another upset victory this weekend and put himself into title contention?

An exciting ground fighter, multiple Fight of the Night award recipient Sick Puppy uses his great wrestling talent and active submission skill to secure tap-out victory in entertaining ground battles. A newcomer to the GAMMA, he looks to prove he has what it takes to compete with the world's best fighters.

185 lbs Bout: (#4)Usain Watts (37-17) vs (#5)Charlie Murphy (14-5)

A veteran here in the GAMMA, "The Chosen One" Usain Watts pushes the pace with his elite boxing skill and black belt jiu-jitsu training. Comfortable wherever the fight goes, he remains a competitor in the 185 lbs division. After going on a four-fight winning streak and conquering championship gold with a fifth round knockout over Josip Ruzic, Watts would lose it in the second round to a TKO vs. Ejnar Thorsen. Can he get himself back on track with a victory Sunday night?

His opponent, another longtime GAMMA veteran, Charlie "Darkness" Murphy is a world-class Muay Thai fighter and he uses agility and speed to stay on the outside to score away with crisp jabs and kicks. After an unfortunate no-contest, two back-to-back decision victories over Frank Sinatra and Josip Ruzic would launch him up in the rankings. He will look to walkway with a KO victory this weekend for sure!

155 lbs Championship Bout: (#1)Glen Starner (19-8) vs (#3)Karl De Groot (43-17)

With his fifth straight victory since he joined the GAMMA back in September coming over tough competitor, and previous 155 lbs Champion Karl De Groot, Glen "Liver" Starner is looking like he is here to stay. He is always looking for a submission off of his back, however he is no stranger to stand up, achieving a TKO over Diego Diaz early in the third round. Following that with a beautiful triangle victory on Jesse Wolfe, and an armbar to score himself Championship gold. He will look to make his first title defense a definitive one, Sunday night!

No stranger to the title scene, Karl "The Hurricane" De Groot has only four fights inside the GAMMA, all of them being championship fights. He is a world-class boxer, elite-level Muay Thai fighter, and possesses a freaky display of unorthodox striking and insane flexibility. His first GAMMA victory coming by way of split decision against challenger Peter Cabreros. In their rematch, De Groot would again walk away the victor, this time by decision. Picking up yet another decision victory over Ba Lil III before losing to Glen Starner by way of tap-out.

We have the epic rematch, Sunday night, brought to you by the GAMMA and Affordable Quality, the official Nutrition of the GAMMA. As always, I'm Smash Mathers and it has been my pleasure walking you through GAMMA#369 Starner vs Groot 2. Have a good weekend world, and I'll see you at the fights!

The most historic organization in the game GAMMA is proud to announce the induction of 2 fighters to the Hall of Fame. Both fighters are products of the great former GAMMA manager Mr Gutz.

Alan Bundy

Fought in GAMMA from 2010-10-30 till 2012-12-15 and had a second stint under new management in 2013. Managed by GAMMA veteran manager Mr Gutz and arguably one of the 3 best all time 170lbs fighters ever with a total of 12 title defenses which equals that of Alexander Khalifman. Bundy was a beast for most of his GAMMA career, beating all the challengers for the 170lbs title. If you could pin down a weakness in his run for GAMMA is his super fight record against other organizations. Alan had a great run outside of GAMMA, winning the NFC title. His second stint for the company was much less impressive though and never hit the old form he showed. His 5 fight rivalry with HOFer Jack Burton was one of the best super star vs underdog stories in GAMMA's history.

Anton Chigurh

Fought in GAMMA from x to Y, another product managed by Mr Gutz. Anton is a 265lbs champion and he was a beast! His KO power was legendary. He was probably the most successful super fight product GAMMA ever had outside of Jeremy Tonal. His road of destruction saw him take out some of the biggest names in the sport all the way to the #1 p4p spot and into the MMA Tycoon Hall of fame. Eventually his run came to an end though with a loss to up and comer future hall of famer Fidel Dubbery. Eventually Anton left GAMMA to compete in IMMA and NFC and had some success on the international scene, but he will always be remembered for the mean streak that took him to the #1 spot.

Hello to you all and welcome back to another edition of GAMMA Preview. My name is Smash Mathers and I'm here with you live to break down the top fights of this weekend's event, GAMMA#370 Williams vs Kenichi 4, brought to you by Affordable Quality. Let's get right to it folks!

265 lbs Bout:(#9)Jt Colossus(36-5-1) vs. (#10)Gabriel Gzrel(26-11)

Elite Boxer, English "The Warwagon" Jt Colossus uses his exceptional wrestling talent to keep his fights standing. He thrives in a brawl, this GAMMA veteran has scored twenty-six of his thirty-six career victories by way of T/KO. With victories under his belt over Kenichi Shirahama, as well as George Foreman, another victory over Gabriel Gzrel would set him up with another shot at being a top ranked contender. Expect for Colossus to avoid clinches and takedowns, and display his superior standup ability to secure himself a knockout victory.

With a brutal knockout victory in his debut against Jim Janos, Gzrel has been on a streak in his previous career as well. With sensational Muay Thai, and a balanced set of skills to back it up, he looks to control his opponent's pace and pulverize him with knees and elbows, opening them up with cuts, and tiring them out. He is a beast in the gym, fueled by some kind of hellish energy. Look for him to invoke his will against Colossus early in the first, as he looks to prove he deserves to be here.

205 lbs Bout:(#10)Bobby McBobby(16-8-1) vs. (#11)Gegard Mousasi(23-9)

Fighting out of Seattle, "The Killer" Bobby McBobby is an exciting thai boxer. He uses world-class Muay Thai to dominate his opponent in the clinch. Versatile however, he possesses elite boxing, as well as a purple belt in jiu-jitsu. He is dangerous in all areas of the fight game. Picking up his only draw, and following that with a landslide decision victory over Rashad Evans, McBobby is now ready to make his climb up the 205 lbs rankings.

Gegard "Dream Catcher" Mousasi is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master, and this humble fighter has left little weakness in the rest of his game. He shows talent in boxing, muay thai, as well as wrestling, and with his chin of stone, he is always looking to push the pace and finish his fights in impressive fashion. After a nice three fight winning streak, he would lose in his title challenge of Adis Djurdjevic, and then again to Abu Dhabi champ Jesse Custer due to an unfortunate third round cut, in a fight that could've gone either way. He will look to redeem himself with a victory.

205 lbs. Bout:(#3)Adis Djurdjevic(21-10-1) vs.(#4) Jesse Custer(13-3)

Twenty-nine year old Adis Djurdjevic is a world-class boxer with elite muay thai and a black belt in jiu-jitsu. He is a persistent submission fighter who is relentless with his takedowns and extremely thorough with clinch control. Two time champion, he would lose to Roger Dunowevil by way of a flurry of clinch knees. He looks to chop Custer out of the way and ensure himself another chance at title gold.

And as his opponent, we have "Preacher" Jesse Custer, who made waves after his GAMMA debut victory over Donald Gaskins. He would earn two more wins over Kosmo Kramer and Gegard Mousasi, by TKO and decision, respectively. In their first bout, Custer got caught by Djurdjevic with a late guillotine in the fourth. Another loss to Andora's Ender Wiggin would provide Custer the motivation he needed, picking up a decision victory over tough competitor Malietoa Feti, and following that with another win in his rematch against Gegard Mousasi. Can he deal with the pressure of his loss in their first bout, and pull off an upset victory in this exciting rematch?

265 lbs. Championship Bout: Kenichi Shirahama(24-9-1) vs. Simon Williams(32-7-1)

And then we have the bout we have all been waiting for. The fans will get their money's worth in this bout alone. Fireworks are set to go off as Williams challenges Shirahama for his 265 lbs title. These men are not strangers, having met already in a best of three series. Shirahama took the first bout by way of armbar in the fourth, earning himself Submission of the Night. In their second fight they battled their hearts out all the way to a draw, but both men took home Fight of the Night bonuses. The third would go to Williams way, concluding with a unanimous decision. Both men technically one and one against each other, we have the ultimate rematch to see who is truly the better man.

Kenichi "The Strongest Disciple" Shirahama has been fairly successful in the GAMMA since his debut loss against Jt Colossus back in April, with only other losses to opponent Williams, and Buster Grimes. With a Submission of the Night victory over Fidel Duberry, he then would redeem his loss with a TKO victory of Colossus. Since his series with Williams, he found another SotN worthy armbar victory over Dean Martin. Word is he has been working outside of the GAMMA, and winning there as well. His head kicks are deadly accurate and powerful as well. He is very agile as well as versatile, with a red belt in jiu-jitsu and exceptional striking.

Simon Williams has been a main eventer here in the GAMMA ever since his debut in May, as well as an exciting fighter, earning 'of the Night' bonuses in all but two of his twelve fights. He has wins over Jt Colossus, Fidel Duberry, and Duster Grimes, to name a few. He is an elite striker with sensational wrestling. He has endless cardio and great dirty boxing in the clinch. Since his series with Shirahama he has been on a killing spree, finishing five opponents in a row, all in the first or second round. He will look to finish Shirahama Sunday night to prove himself the better fighter, and true 265 lbs Champion.

GAMMA is proud to promote 2 of the premier up and coming talents to the GAMMA main roster.

Max Hatred (184294) with an LVC record of 4-0 and a career record of 13-2 promoted to GAMMA. Hatred also secured the light heavyweight belt and had one title defense here at GAMMA: Las Vegas Contenders before promoting.

Willy Wonka (159900) was a lightweight that was already at GAMMA. However, after a NC up at the main org, he came down to LVC for a couple of fights. He quickly secured two wins to return to fighting where he always belonged.

GAMMA has always been an org which mostly focused on the larger weight classes. In fact we had just 4 divisions for the better part of 4 years (170lbs to 265lbs).

With GAMMA becoming a global company and regularly running ppv level events, more and more managers have been asking for us to expand into the other weight classes. We first added a 155lbs division in the summer and in the autumn we added 265+lbs to our belt list.

Now GAMMA is very happy to announce the 145lbs division! We have already added several free agent 145lbs fighters, a few have moved down from 155lbs and there were a couple of promotions from our contenders org. However the biggest majority of our newly formed 145lbs division is made up mainly from fighters which have moved over from London's Galaxy FC, which has recently merged into GAMMA.

The first 145lbs title event will take place mid February 2014.

GAMMA#371 Dunowevil vs Wiggin

Salutations to fight fans world wide, we're back to review all of the hottest action here in the world of GAMMA, this time we're taking a look at GAMMA#371 Dunowevil vs Wiggin, and as always, it's brought to you by Affordable Quality, the official nutrition of choice for the GAMMA.

185 lbs Bout: (#6)Puff Dragon (12-3-1) v (#11)Atte Peltola (14-9-1)

Hailing from Jamaica, "Beast Mode" Puff Dragon started his career as a kickboxer. This heavy handed muay-thai specialist found success in that discipline and so took his talent to GAMMA. Since his debut he has gone on two lengthy winning streaks, finishing most of his opponents with nasty KO's. Bouncing back from his recent loss at the hands of Billy Blanks by way of head kick KO, Dragon looks to start a new winning streak with the right foot forward.

Atte "Teufel" Peltola has a chin of steel, with good wrestling and excellent muay thai to back it up. With remarkable boxing, he usually keeps his fights standing, unafraid of what his opponent might be able to hit him with. With recent victories over Andrej Kavelin and Dougie Silva, this versatile fighter will look to walk away with an upset victory.

265+ lbs Bout: (#7)Pyry Perkele (18-6) v Will Bailey (14-6-1)

"Riiviö" Pyry Perkele is making his debut here in the GAMMA, he is a veteran fighter from outside organizations and he has a lot of ticks in the win column. Rumors suggest he is currently on an eight fight winning streak. Scouts say he is extremely versatile, with a brown belt in jiu-jitsu, prominent wrestling, and exceptional muay thai. Extremely popular, this Finnish fighter is here to make waves, it seems!

Will Bailey is also making his debut Sunday Night. He is exceptional is both muay thai and wrestling and also holds a brown belt in jiu-jitsu. This Vegas resident has trained extensively to develop an endless cardio, and a pace few can match. Dominant as well as aggressive when he gets a hold of a plum, I am excited to see him in the cage this weekend.

265+ Bout: (#6)Cinder Smaug (14-5) v (#4)Restin Peace (15-2)

Sensational stand up fighter Cinder Smaug returns for his ninth bout in the GAMMA. With his most recent victory coming by way of TKO against Antonio Carlos Ferreira, and other notable wins over Jesse Venturia, and Jaws Talltree. With exceptional wrestling to support his goal of a brawl, he prefers to stand and bang with excellent cardio and world class muay thai.

He is a champion outside of the GAMMA, he is an elite boxer, and an elite wrestler. Out of his seventeen fights he has only two losses, most recently to Champion Simon Williams. Thirteen of his wins by way of T/KO, Restin Peace is the real deal. He is insanely flexible, and his balance is crazy. It is very difficult to take this man down. I expect we will see a KO of the Night performance out of him this weekend.

205 lbs Championship Bout: (#1)Roger Dunowevil (25-10) v (#2)Ender Wiggin (22-10)

Our current 205 lbs Champion,"Hellbent" Roger Dunowevil took a unanimous decision victory in his GAMMA debut against John Galt, and in the last round of his title challenge against Adis Djurdjevic, he would end it before it got to the judge's decision with a huge knee. Now sitting at the top of the ladder, he now will have to prove that he deserves to be his champion in his first title defense.

Ender Wiggin is an extremely balanced opponent, with sensational boxing, muay thai, and wrestling, on top of a black belt in jiu-jitsu. With most of his wins coming by way of T/KO, he is an exciting fighter; one to keep your eye on. Currently on a six fight winning streak, his most recent victories over Paul Jones, Drazen Kadoic, and John Galt put him into prime contender real estate. Can he snatch the belt from the newly crowned Champion? Tune in Sunday Night to find out!

I have not done any GAMMA Gossip's in a while, so i thought it was about time! Bringing to you the GAMMA Gossip is your host and owner of GAMMA, Mentor.

Quite a bit has happened since we last talked, not only in GAMMA, but on the MMA Tycoon scene. Some of the biggest news outside of GAMMA was the mergers of Immortals into NGF creating possibly the biggest ever (in terms of talent) ID restricted organization in history. The other big merger was that of Steel Penn Hilo into Heroic of London. Herioc and Steel Penn were major PPV players as it is, so this only made them stronger.

In the aftermath of that merger though GAMMA signed a couple of top ranking ex-Herioc champions. Anderson McGinley (p4p 19) and Jose Rozemblit (p4p 99) both signed up to the 265+ and 185lbs divisions respectively. Both where current Herioc champions when this happened and are arguably 2 of the biggest FA's to ever join GAMMA.

GAMMA also picked up several top ranking fighters over the past 2 months (other than those which moved from GALAXY FC), the most significant being Artem Bessmertin, Ichi Ijima, Pyry Perkele, Pops Cama, Jeff Munster, Lan Mandragoran.

A major coup for GAMMA was the merger of Galaxy FC from London into GAMMA + GAMMA contenders. Galaxy was one of the best regional orgs in the game to date and to get them to merge was a massive move for us.

Most of the 145lbs division (which was newly created) is made up from young talent for Galaxy FC. They played a major role in the creation of this division. Willy Wonka (a GAMMA: Contender graduate) and ex-GALAXY 145lbs king Auguste Grimm will be competing for the first ever 145lbs title belt.

This takes our total to 58 top 1000 p4p ranking fighters currently on our roster which is a record for GAMMA. This is also double what we had in July 2013 when it was at just 28 fighters.

This has taken our total fighters to almost 130, which has "forced" us to run more than one event per week. Most of these fighters are inside the top 3000 p4p with the exception of 145lbs and some fighters on bad streaks. Our 265+ division In particular is currently the deepest (in terms of total 1000+ p4p ranking fighters) in the world and would rank #3 if you combined 265+ with 265lbs with any other org in the world.

The depth of our roster has also created the case where nobody has defended their title more than 2 times. Simon Williams is on 2 defenses + 1 when he re-won the 265lbs belt. Even Renan St Juste, last years p4p champ lost his 170lbs title belt to Stanley Burrell. The time when fighters went on for a year as the champ is probably over now. I think that this is not only connected to the fact that GAMMA has deeper talent, but also connected to the fact that we have better managers in the game in general (a lot of those being in GAMMA).

GAMMA has a major announcement to make.

GAMMA is now merging with founding GEG partner Versus of London! We

have a long relationship with the premier London organization going back to 2012 and the owner of Versus, Edward Banger is not only a close friend and business partner, but also a GAMMA veteran manager which has held the 205lbs title with John "The Misanthrope" Galt.

On the one hand this is fantastic news for our GAMMA fans and supporters as it will setup

some long awaited super fights among some of the best fighters in the business, however it is also a massive blow to the GEG block as a whole because we are losing one of our most valued members.

Versus is a consistent performer in the top 10 orgs worldwide and has one of the deepest

and most respected veteran rosters on the planet with 23 p4p ranking top 1000 fighters, so

this merger will effectively push GAMMA (which is ranked top 5) even higher

among orgs worldwide.

Several of the Versus fighters have already started to move over, but the majority will be joining up in the next 2 weeks, which should take our roster size to around 160 total fighters, with about 40-50% of those being in the top 1000 p4p worldwide. We will also be running more regular events to cover for the demand of more fights. We have already already booked extra aren's for the March and April months to meet those demands.

Edwards Banger will take on a role in the backstage of GAMMA as CEO of the company and during March and April will run GAMMA and will be fully responsible for the matchmaking and day to day running. A role which he has done for years now at the top level.

I personally would like to welcome all the new fighters and managers moving over from Versus and hope together we can help GAMMA become the best organization worldwide.

GAMMA#379 St Juste VS River 2

Wombley Arena, London, 8th March 2014

GAMMA is opening its doors once again for a huge night of Mixed Martial Arts with some of the top fighters in the world today. Just over 93,000 fans will be crammed into one of the biggest arenas in the world to see not only one but TWO GAMMA title fights.

MAIN CARD

Main Event

170lbs Title

Renan St Juste (33-9-0) vs "Black Water" Cole River (23-2-1)

In this eagerly anticipated rematch between these two St Juste will go in to this one full of confidence. After winning the first fight between these two and has just avenged his loss by winning his title back. This guy has had quiet a story overcoming cancer and has regained his title what a man. With 6 of 7 of his last fights going all the way he will be looking to end this one as soon as possible like in his last fight.

With a draw and 2 wins since losing the Title to St Juste, River will be on a high and looking to prove last time was a fluke and get the 170lb title back. With the majority of his wins coming via decision he will all so be looking to end early and prove the doubters wrong who say he lacks the killer instinct to finish a fight.

PREDICTION: If both guys come out swinging this surely will be fight of the night. River to win by Decision.

Co Main Event

155lbs Title

Karl "The Hurricane" De Groot (45-17-0) vs Sick Puppy (17-8-1)

De Groot a legend in MMA former #12 in the world will be looking to scale them heights again and a win here tonight will see him slowly rise again. The 35yr old is competing in his 3rd defence of the 155lbs title. This man always comes with a strong game plan and is defiantly a 5 round fighter.

Puppy already in his career has held the 155lbs title in two other organisations but has never been in with someone like De Groot. He wants this title bad so he can start his own journey to the top. A fantastic all round finisher needs to be careful he doesn’t let the occasion get the best of him and performs to the highest level.

PREDICTION: Another awesome fight produced by GAMMA. I think it’s just too far out of reach for Puppy and De Groot will win by Decision.

Also Featuring:

185 lbs Billy Blanks v Puff Dragon- Round 1 TKO Blanks
265+ lbs Marcel Clasie v Yrjo Jarvinen- Round 2 Submission Jarvinen
145 lbs Ein Stein v Thaksin Yodsuwan- Round 3 Submission Yodsuwan
155 lbs Peter Cabreros v Sam Shield- Round 1 KO Shield

145 lbs Gordon Freeman v Brian Redban- Round 1 Submission Redban

Hello ladies and gentlemen I’m Dale McCann. On tonight’s episode of MEET THE MAN we have an interview with GAMMA star Arvydas Sabonis.

DM- Hey Arvydas how are you doing? Did you get here ok?

AS- Hey there, good to be here, always liked London, and it’s close to my home country of Lithuania. Got here with no problem, in fact, on the plane ride here I was sitting next to a pretty little brunette that was a good conversation…she will be in attendance come fight time.

DM- So what is it then you win in the fight then you will win after lol Lets get down to the interview.

Q. So your main eventing GAMMA this sat does it feel good?

A. I’m excited and proud to main event for a prominent organization like GAMMA. It’s always great to compete in upper-echelon organizations, and to main event is that much more special. My goal is to make it worthwhile for all the pay-per-view buyers and those in attendance. I might not be a household name, but MMA insiders recognize me for my fan-friendly approach to fights—I come to put on a show and look to finish my opponent quickly and with great deal of violence.

Q. Yeah the fans appreciate fighters that come to finish and your right GAMMA is one of the most professional orgs out there. What do you think of Kenichi Shirahama ? and do you think you have enough to beat him?

A. My opponent is a well-rounded guy, but I think it’s fair to label him a ground guy, a grappler, the guy is a red belt, for fuck’s sake! He is a lot smaller and quicker than me, so I think he will come in with a game plan to shoot in for takedowns and try to submit me. His losses mostly come by way of decision and most of his fights take place on the mat, which means he is masterful at forcing his plan. I am expecting to be fighting off my back and I have been getting ready, sparring with my gym mates. I’ve been working on transitions, escapes, submissions, you know, all that good zhew-zhitsu stuff. If it was up to me we’d stand and bang, but I know he doesn’t want to feel my hand power, so I’m ready for whatever he brings. I definitely think I have what it takes to beat my opponent; while he is a red belt, I’m not slouch on the ground, and while our technical striking might be comparable, he is no match for me when it comes to knout power.

Q. Sounds like you have done your scouting on him and seem really prepared for this one. So with that being your last answer Do you care to make a prediction?

A. As far as predicting the winner- I’m picking myself, as I think my camp has prepared me for my opponent’s gamelan and if I catch him standing I’ll turn his lights out.

Q. Not saying how you will win haha smart man. If you win this who do you want next?

A. If I win I am open to fighting whoever is put in front of me.

Q. Good i like hearing fighters saying that and I’m sure match maker at GAMMA will be happy with that comment as well. So tell us how your training camp went? And how much a fight interrupts your normal day life?

A. My training camp was pretty much your average camp, with a little more emphasis on ground game, as it only makes sense to spend some time grappling preparing for a matchup vs. a red belt.

My life is built around fighting, so I really can’t say that training camps interfere with my life, as I am a fighter’s fighter. All I do is train and fight.

DM- It has been a pleasure talking to you today. Thank you for coming in and good luck in your fight on Saturday night.

AS- Thank you im sure ill do my fans proud and get the win see you later Dale.

DM- That concludes today’s episode of MEET THE MAN. Remember to tune in fight fans for weekly interviews with the sport’s top fighters and mangers.

GAMMA #381 preview written by Furious Styles

MARCH 15, 2014 GAMMA #381 WOMBLEY ARENA, LONDON

Global Association of MMA (GEG) and Affordable Quality + Reliable Laundry proudly bring to you, Gamma #381: Dunowevil versus Ivey, live at the Wombley Arena in London! More than ninety-three thousand fans of bloody, brutal cage fighting will pack the arena to soak in the events and you definitely don’t want to miss out! Don’t forget to place your bets at GAMMA Bets to try your luck at guessing the outcome of these battles and also put some money into your pocket.

On a side note, this Pay-Per-View event takes place on this writer’s birthday, so you know that I’ll be in attendance because what’s a better birthday gift than seeing warriors fight it out in the cage!? Well, there are some gifts I wouldn’t mind but this is a family show so I won’t get into all of that. However, there may be pictures on Facebook, Twitter and Vine, but that has nothing to do with me!

So, without further ado…let’s get down to business! As always there’s an action packed card scheduled and there will also be a Featherweight Championship battle which will definitely bring the noise and intensity! I saw both fighters who’ll be involved in the title fight, and believe me ladies and gentlemen, they are ready to tear one another apart!

MAIN EVENT: LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT – “HELLBENT” ROGER DUNOWEVIL (26-11) OF THE LEGION OF PAIN versus PHIL IVEY (40-16) OF GRABTHE.INFO

The Main Event brings two outstanding Light Heavyweight fighters who have accomplished a great deal in their respective careers. Although Ivey has a bit more fighting experience than Dunowevil, I don’t believe that will be much of a factor because Dunowevil has certainly shown he’s capable of battling against various types of opponents. In terms of momentum, Dunowevil definitely has the advantage as he brings a FIVE FIGHT WINNING STREAK to this battle. Ivey recently had a THREE FIGHT WIN STREAK SNAPPED against Jonny Victorio, so expect Ivey to be rather aggressive in this contest as he looks to halt a potential losing streak and snap Dunowevil's in the process.

Dunowevil has shown a knack for knocking his opponent's out so Ivey will surely need to utilize his defensive techniques to stay out of trouble as best as possible! Ivey has also demonstrated a propensity of finish his opponent's with his fists and that's a potential possibility that will be in the back of Dunowevil's mind without question. I expect Dunowevil to utilize his height advantage as best as he can to keep Ivey at bay and avoid those very strong punches. Ivey may very well look to take this fight into the clinch as early as possible to he can neutralize that height advantage and try to slow Dunowevil down with striking up close and inside of Dunowevil's defenses.
Furious Styles' Prediction: Dunowevil by TKO (STRIKES) in the 2nd round

MAIN CARD EVENT: FEDOTOV versus RUTGER

This fight features to very good Welterweights as Vladik Fedotov (30-14-2) of the LEGION OF DOOM and “Rusty” Russ Rutger (32-15-1) of the FinnFighters step into the ring of battle! Fedotov is currently on a THREE FIGHT WINNING STREAK and his confidence is definitely high! Rutger was also recently on a three fight win streak, but he had that STREAK SNAPPED at the hands of Uusisto! That loss left a bad taste in Rutger's mouth and he'll be fighting to taste that sweet flavor of winning once again!

Physically speaking, Fedotov will enjoy a height and weight advantage, so expect to see his Muay Thai on display, particularly his kicking, which I believe he'll use to try and keep Rutger at a distance. Rutger has displayed world class boxing ability and he'll need it if he's going to get close to Fedotov to utilize his speed and strength. The old adage of stick and move will serve Rutger very well in this situation.
Rutger could opt to try and take the bigger man down to the mat but that will prove difficult to say the least, as Fedotov has displayed tremendous wrestling skills and definitely knows how to defend himself against takedowns. Also, Fedotov may be able to utilize his weight advantage on the ground to control Rutger and position himself for possible damage from the ground and pound or submission game.

Rutger has been involved in a lot of decision battles lately, while Fedotov has been involved in fights that have finished early, be it that he's on the giving or receiving end of things. If Fedotov can land some brutal kicks and slow Rutger's down while maintaing a distance, then Rutger's well known slow starts to fights may be his undoing. Rutger will need to be very aggressive in trying to get in close to Fedotov and work the bigger man's body over with his outstanding boxing ability to take this victory.
Furious Styles' Prediction: Rutger by Majority Decision

MAIN CARD EVENT: BESSMERTIN versus RUTTEN

Staying with the Welterweight division, “Kaschey” Artem Bessmertin (14-6) of THE STEEL PENN ALLIANCE and “El Guapo” Taz Rutten (27-8-1) of Convicted Inc. are the warriors who will step across the cage from one another! Just by looking at these two very good fighters, I have to wonder if Rutten's tattoos are symbolic of each fight he has been in throughout the course of his life. I don't know who his tattoo artist is, but I know that's a happy artist because they have done plenty of work and have made some good money on Rutten's body, that's for certain!

Both fighters step into battle with recent losses so that will make for interesting fight planning as neither fighter wants to extend his losing streak. Bessmertin had a THREE FIGHT WIN STREAK snapped by Cole River while Rutten recently lost to Richard Nixon. Bessmertin is the taller and heavier fighter in this contest so hey may opt to try and keep the fight on the outside. However, against Rutten, that may prove to be very difficult as Rutten has shown to be an excellent standup fighter who is equally effective, and dangerous, with his punches and kicks. Should this fight go the ground, I would favor the lighter, shorter Rutten as he would have an advantage of positioning, in my opinion.

If Bessmertin can land one of his thunderous punches while Rutten attempts a clinch or takedown, then that may very well spell the end of this fight. If Rutten is able to either get in close and remove the height advantage that Bessmertin has, or manage to get the larger man to the ground, then I think that works to his advantage.
Furious Styles' Prediction: Rutten by TKO (Strikes) in the 3rd round

UNDER CARD MAIN EVENT: GRIMM versus SHIELDS FOR THE FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

It's not often a Championship Battle is on the under card but that demonstrates the level of talent that GAMMA brings to each and every event! Auguste Grimm (13-4) of Team Outkast and “The Lion” Nick Shields (15-3) of GRABTHE.INFO are the two fighters who will lay it out on the line for the right to be called a champion! Grimm recently defeated Willy Wonka to retain his Featherweight Title and increase his confidence.
Shields is riding a TWO FIGHT WIN STREAK and his so confident that he is still wearing the standard issue MMATycoon Magic White shirt and shorts!

Now that's confidence because as I see it, a fighter likes to have different clothes that make them feel good but hey, that's just me. If Shields wants to wear the whites and it works for him, then more power to him. Physically these two match up nearly identically, so it will boil down to desire.
Furious Styles' Prediction: Grimm retains his title with a Majority Decision

UNDER CARD WELTERWEIGHT CONTEST

“Rampage” Adolf Ellenberger (14-4) of The Legion of Pain versus versus Maubee “Roots” Away (14-8) of The Goonies
Furious Styles' Prediction: Ellenberger by KO (Head Kick) in the 2nd round

UNDER CARD SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT CONTEST

Thiago “Fiote” Tavares (13-5) of The Steel Penn Alliance versus Luke “Pig” Kilpatrick (15-5)
Furious Styles' Prediction: Tavares by TKO (Strikes) in the 2nd round

UNDER CARD FEATHERWEIGHT CONTEST

“Wonderboy” Chris Van De Kamp (13-8) of the Swedish Fighters Alliance versus “The Candyman” Willy Wonka (19-4) of the LEGION OF DOOM
Furious Styles' Prediction: Wonka by Unanimous Decision

UNDER CARD LIGHTWEIGHT CONTEST

Zack “Moonshine” Skyshriek (23-14-2) of The Legion of Pain versus Glen “Liver” Starner (19-10) of Valhalla
Furious Styles' Prediction: Skyshriek by Unanimous Decision

UNDER CARD SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT CONTEST

Lan “Aanallein” Mandragoran (17-8) of the LEGION OF DOOM versus Jeff Munster (32-15) of Hellraiser Inc.
Furious Styles' Prediction: Mandragoran by KO (Punch) in the 2nd round

UNDER CARD FEATHERWEIGHT CONTEST

Ron “Bowes” Sieler (13-11) of the Fighters First Alliance versus John Kimble (12-7-1) of Team Outkast
Furious Styles' Prediction: Sieler by TKO (Strikes) in the 2nd round

Hello ladies and gentlemen I’m Dale McCann. On tonight’s episode of MEET THE MAN we have an interview with GAMMA star "Black Water" Cole River.

DM- How are you doing Cole?

CR-Been doing very well thank you for asking. Having a great training camp, feel like I am at the top of my game.

DM- Sounds like your ready lets start the questions ha.

Q. So you’re coming up against st juste again for the title after losing last time how will you change your game plan?

A. I don't want to say to much and give away anything. Let’s just say, I am expecting a war. St Juste is tough. If we don't get fight of the night I will be shocked.

Q. Yeah im excited for this one I’m sure it will be a contender for it. You’re seen as one of the top fighters at GAMMA how have you found the organization?

A. GAMMA is great, Mentor is one of the best ORG owners I have worked with. I just wish I would have come over here sooner. As for me being one of the top fighters, with all the great guys here I think that may be a stretch.

Q. I think your one of the top fighters there and yeah MENTOR’s attention to detail is fantastic that’s what I think mates GAMMA one of the top org’s to fight in. Back to the fight What do you think st juste weak points are?

A. He is 33-9 I don't think he has many weak points! I would say the most obvious is his BJJ, but let’s be honest I am no ground guy either. We have very similar styles. I don't think the fans will be disappointed.

Q. Yeah you’re both similar that’s why it’s such an intriguing fight. If you win this fight is there anyone else you’re dieing to get in the cage with?

A. I don't call people out, I will fight anyone anytime. Whoever Mentor wants me to fight, that is who I want to fight. I am under contract, I don't turn down fights, I don't hand pick fights. I accept and I give it my all.

Q. True fighter mate. Tell us a bit about yourself outside of MMA?

A. Well I am named after a child that Joe River knows who has Down Syndrome. I am active in Special Olympics and help coach different sports and I really enjoy that. If you ever get the chance to go to a Special Olympics event you should, it is an experience you will never forget. Joe has a son named Alexander that has Down Syndrome also, we call him Zander because he is so WILD. Kids with Downs face so many battles and struggle every day with things that most people just take for granted. They are true fighters, they are my HEROES!

DM- That is absolutely amazing, some people do take life for granted it really has been a pleasure meeting you today such grounded individual who has outstanding morals. Good luck in your fight Cole.

CR- Thank you iv had fun, hope to do this again.

DM- That concludes today’s episode of MEET THE MAN. Remember to tune in fight fans for weekly interviews with the sport’s top fighters and mangers.
