We just need 1) better control for orgs and managers and 2) more time notice (our first run was really on short notice and nobody was able to plan for it)... and this will be perfect. MMATycoon Posted August 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 I'll be changing the divisional boundaries a bit after this tournament - I have run some scripts to check things out and there are only 8 fighters in the whole of Rio that qualify for any weight division of Division 1, so it's no surprise there aren't any entries at 170lbs and under Anyway, I'll open that up to division 2 fighters tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled on that if you want to enter. I figured if we had any standups at all, someone would just do bloody takedown then standup tactics I'm expecting this to be a fun concept but that it will also kick up some frailties with the ground game that need fixing. I always expected that throughout the programming and I welcome it. I noticed it and said something, if the guy I am going against don't mind and the manager with the other 2 wants someone different I will swap out against witch ever guy he chooses. Makes no difference to me who it is, but I don't want to speak for the other 2 managers. They may not want to swap out. 1 thing to keep in mind if the manager with 2 fighters wins both fights then he will fight himself in the next round. So will be an ongoing problem. In the future it may be better to have 1 fighter per division, still allow more than 1 fighter just different cities or something. I was trying to help him, what is the point of having 2 guys in if one is for sure going out in the 1st round? I don't care who I fight I will go against anyone anytime with any fighter. I guess you wouldn't understand someone helping and not being an ass would you? Not sure why I am explaining to you anyway, I let you get under my skin and that is what you wanted. I have a few fighters in that ID range that have similar skills and they have only slightly above average learning speed. Nothing out of the ordinary there.
